Jake notes that Chase Brown is in line for another high-volume game in Week 5 with Higgins and Chase potentially out. Last week he had 10 rushing yards but 19.1 PPR points due to 6 receptions, demonstrating his value as a pass-catching back. With major offensive weapons missing, Brown should see continued heavy involvement.NegativeProjectionOct 2, 2026
Fantasy managers should temper expectations for Chase Brown, as a true breakout is not expected until 2026.PositiveUsageSep 18, 2026
Chase Brown is a workhorse with 20 touches; he is expected to benefit from a better game script this season due to the Bengals' improved defense.NegativeProjectionJul 17, 2026
The source was initially skeptical of Chase Brown but is now immediately coming around on him after reviewing game logs. Brown handled the workload on a prolific Bengals offense (1,400 scrimmage yards, 88 targets, 11 total TDs last year); the Bengals didn't bring in anyone to compete with him. Even splits with and without a healthy Joe Burrow show no ammunition to avoid drafting him. Brown is a balanced, locked-in workhorse who gets plenty of targets—not flashy but a mystery box that isn't really a mystery. The source is in full capitulation mode and willing to shift Brown toward the front of the RB group to get him. Ranked #2 second-round RB by source, directly behind Kenneth Walker.
