All BDGE Fantasy Football insights about Jaylen Waddle
NegativeInjuryOct 29, 2026
Jaylen Waddle reinjured his chest injury and did not participate in practice, trending toward the pessimistic side of playing; the source recommends having a backup plan if Waddle was in lineups.NegativeProjectionOct 22, 2026
Aj Brown has completely lost confidence in Waddle despite the matchup against Denver. Waddle is characterized as having a very low floor with a high ceiling, and has shown only one explosive game so far this season. He ranks at the bottom of the dub flex/top of shaky flex tier.NegativeRoleOct 8, 2026
Ranked as a 'dumb flex' due to limited talent and inconsistent production; will provide spike weeks but overall not a reliable play; Broncos offense is not very good, limiting upside in Denver at LA matchup.NegativeProjectionSep 24, 2026
Jaylen Waddle is a volatile low-end WR2. While he has a massive ceiling, he also carries a low floor; however, the team is committed to taking deep shots to him, making him a 'feels good' start despite the uncertainty.NegativeBustSep 17, 2026
Ranked WR31 in tier three; one of the more disappointing players of Week 1. The source wants to see him perform again before starting him as anything more than a flex play. Week 2 is not a great bounceback spot against the Jaguars. The Broncos offense looked very shaky against the Chiefs with Davis Webb calling plays, and the offense is heavily spread with many playmakers, making it hard for any receiver to get 8–10 targets in a single game, which limits Waddle's near-term ceiling.NegativeUsageSep 15, 2026
Jaylen Waddle is unlikely to see consistent high-volume target games (8-10 targets) because the Broncos' offense is expected to spread the ball around to many different players.NegativeProjectionSep 12, 2026
The source expresses skepticism about Jaylen Waddle's Week 1 outlook, placing him in the 'dub flex' category. Despite a receiving yardage projection of 55.5, which is higher than Courtland Sutton's, Waddle is not favored to score an anytime touchdown with +205 odds. The source acknowledges he could outperform expectations but remains cautious.NegativeDepth ChartSep 9, 2026
The addition of Jaylen Waddle to the Denver roster is cited as a significant hurdle for Pat Bryant's immediate fantasy path, creating a crowded target environment alongside Courtland Sutton.PositiveMatchupSep 8, 2026
Jaylen Waddle is ranked as a dub flex (start-worthy) for Week 1. Vegas props show 4.5 receptions, +205 anytime TD odds, and 55.5 receiving yards. Despite a seven-round ADP gap versus Courtland Sutton, Vegas sees minimal difference between the two receivers.PositiveValueAug 26, 2026
BDGE Fantasy Football notes Waddle as one of the receivers expected to "start to drop here" in the mid-round range around the 4-5 turn, suggesting he may fall to later picks than expected in draft rankings.PositiveValueAug 19, 2026
Positioned as a receiver value option in the 4th-5th round with insane value; the source presents Waddle as one of several interchangeable options offering volume, upside, or touchdown scoring potential alongside Luther Burton, Lad Mani, and Garrett Wilson.PositiveBreakoutAug 11, 2026
The source views Jaylen Waddle as a strong bounceback candidate within Mike McDaniel's offense. He is currently dealing with a minor leg injury that caused him to miss practice time, though he has since shed the protective sleeve and the situation is being monitored.NegativeValueJun 29, 2026
The source does not like Jaylen Waddle in Denver at his current draft price, expressing skepticism about his value at that ADP despite many people loving him at the position.PositiveValueJun 4, 2026
Jaylen Waddle is ranked WR14 by Rashawn Slater but consensus WR19, making him a mid-fourth-round pick with six spots of upside. With Keenan Allen gone, the leading target receiver is out of the Chargers offense, opening opportunity for Waddle. Mike McDaniel's arrival as offensive coordinator suggests Waddle will see significant target volume. Slater advises not overthinking the situation and views the ADP gap as exploitable value.NegativeValueDec 18, 2025
Jaylen Waddle is ranked in the 'dub flex' (doubt flex) category for Week 16 due to dual concerns: QB downgrade from Tua to Quinn Ewers (not an upgrade for Waddle despite Tua's struggles) and expected shadow coverage from Bengals CB DJ Turner, a newly elite defender. Dvonte Adams explicitly states 'I don't feel confident about him' and rules out feels-good or must-start placement.NegativeProjectionNo date
Jaylen Waddle is not considered a true alpha receiver capable of commanding 10 targets per game, making him a boom-or-bust flex option in the current Broncos offense with a history of inconsistent floor and ceiling games.NegativeProjectionNo date
The source doesn't view Jaylen Waddle as an alpha receiver and is skeptical of Bo Nix's ability to support him. While acknowledging he'll be a good addition to Denver and acceptable as a WR3, the source thinks people ranking him inside the top 18-20 wide receivers are overreaching. Ranked WR25 by the source.NegativeProjectionNo date
Waddle is ranked WR25 and not considered an alpha receiver; while he's a good addition to Denver's offense, ranking him in the top 18-20 wide receivers is overvalued given Courtland Sutton's presence and Bo Nicks' limitations.
