Came in and got work after Damen Pierce injury. If Saquon Barkley misses time, could be 'the Elijah Mitchell show' with no other viable options (Will Shipley out, Pierce injured, Barkley potentially out). The source notes 'could low-key be a good time against Washington' given favorable matchup, though he used to be explosive seven years ago.PositiveRoleOct 27, 2026
Spot starter candidate for Eagles backfield if both Saquon Barkley and Damen Pierce unable to go in week 8; closed out game vs Cowboys this past week. Likely to lead carries if both primary backs unavailable. Recommend $1–2 waiver bid given backfield health uncertainty.
