0:00Today I'm breaking down my top 75 wide receivers ahead of 2026 fantasy football season with everyone's favorite game tier maker season. Going to be also be
0:10answering some bigger picture questions such as are all second half breakouts traded equal looking at you Mr. Michael Wilson. How many times we see teams
0:18enabling multiple high-end fantasy wide receivers? A good question for the Cowboys, Rams, Bengals amongst many others and different things of that
0:25nature. So accordingly guys, let's get after it with tier number one stone cold baller wide receiver ones. The usual suspects. Okay, Jamar Chase is going to
0:34be my wide receiver one. And why not? He has, you know, scored the most PPR points among any wide receiver in his
0:41first five years ever. Okay, so we have that going for him. Wide receiver 2, Puka Nua, currently the all-time leader and career PPR points per game. So also
0:49pretty damn good in his own right. Uh, wide receiver 3, Jackson Smith, the Jigba coming off obviously such an incredible year three breakout. Easily
0:56led the league in terms of target share with 36% area share of 49% as well. And then wide receiver for Ahmad Ross St.
1:03Brown. Fun fact, three straight wide receiver four finishes in fantasy land.
1:07As we all know, correlation always means uh implies causation, I should say. So yes, Amanra St. Brown very much in this
1:14top four with me and accordingly I have him ranked as my wide receiver for again. The two big questions I had for
1:20this though, Chase versus Puka at the top because you know Puka did manage to be the wide receiver one last season.
1:25For me, the tiebreaker is just the fact that look at this Rams defense guys.
1:29They already got Miles Garrett, Aaron Donald sounds like he could become back into the picture. I'm just not expecting the Rams to happen to be throwing the
1:36football being in those, you know, fantasy friendly back and forth shootout sort of game scripts. So, I do think the Bengals, well, they added Dexter
1:43Lawrence and could be better in their own right, just probably more passing volume overall there. So Jamar and Puka both obviously incredible talents. I do
1:50think Jamar a little bit better in real life. You know, if we were playing the aliens in a game to kind of decide the
1:55fate of civilization, Chase would be my pick for wide receiver one in that contest. But hey, Puka pretty special in his own right. Don't think you can go
2:02too wrong with either if we are looking at an overall fantasy draft. I got Gibbs and Bejon going one and two, but then
2:08for me it is Jamar Chase and Puka Nakua right there. So JSN and Ara, that one was tougher for me, man. battle the
2:15hyphens, you know, and if I've seen some smart people actually go with our one true sun god as their wide receiver
2:20three over JSN. I do feel like some stuff with JSN, the cries for regression is just like whenever anyone was as
2:27incredible as he was last year, we just don't usually see people repeat like that, but it's kind of hard to put an
2:32overly good reason behind why that could be the case. Losing Clint Kubak does matter. But man, guys, Sam Darnold is right there with Jared Goff. Only two
2:39quarterbacks with at least 4,000 passing yards in each of these past two seasons.
2:43So really tough to overly complain about either. I'm giving JSN the slight edges because I think there's a little bit more target competition going on in
2:50Detroit. We do have Jameson Williams, we do have Sam Laaporta, and we also do have a change in coordinator over there
2:55as well with Drew Pson coming in. But very, very close for me. I do think if you wanted to kind of go through the
3:00first round though and look at that difference in the overall pick position.
3:03A Monroe really, really safe bet in the later half. And he has been someone I find myself clicking over the likes of
3:09Jonathan Taylor every now and then even Christian McCaffrey as well. So big time respect to all these guys. I did look up
3:16cuz again my question here just overall how often do we see the elite the top six the high-end wide receiver ones
3:23repeat year-over-year. Okay. And my just overall kind of assumption kind of going into the data. I figured that running backs were probably less likely to
3:31repeat year-over-year more injuries.
3:33Surprisingly the injury stuff was actually more relevant for wide receivers. Over the past decade, we've seen five wide receivers fail to play at
3:40least eight games the following season compared to just four running backs.
3:43Again, among the kind of position groups, top six overall players. And overall though, wide receivers, 46% of these guys have managed to repeat
3:51year-over-year. 43% for running backs.
3:53So, pretty close overall. Tight ends actually have 50%. So, long story short, the pass catchers, wide receivers, and tight ends a little bit more likely to
4:01repeat year-over-year as the most elite, you know, fantasy performers in their respective position groups than quarterbacks and running backs, but pretty close. Either way, top four dudes
4:11from last year going to be my top four dudes for this year as well. Let's move on to tier two where things get a little
4:15bit more interesting. All right, these are overall wide receiver one upside sort of players and we're leading off with wide receiver five, Justin
4:22Jefferson. It was rough last year, guys.
4:25The nine experience. All right, we saw Justin Jefferson survive. Nick Mullins and Carson Wentz and Kurt Cousins, all these I know Cousins probably doesn't
4:32belong in that conversation, but you guys get it. One quarterback after another in Minnesota Jed was putting up huge numbers. We just didn't
4:38unfortunately see that get going with JJ McCarthy under center. But still, we've seen him in this offense led by KC enough and he has a 17game average
4:47target pace of 161. I do think Kyler Murray constitutes a quarterback upgrade. I know there's some concerns about well is he going to be targeting
4:54Jefferson over the middle as much as Sam Darnold was and those are warranted but I just don't want to really be missing
5:01the opportunity to draft arguably the best wide receiver in the NFL. I got Chase one probably Jefferson too. Him Fuker pretty close cheaper than ever at
5:10this point. So it's not like he's exactly on sale. You're probably going to have to use a late round one. Maybe
5:14you'll get lucky and get an early round two pick for Justin Jefferson. But again just one of those things where I don't
5:20want to totally overthink it. takes me to the wide receiver six AJ Brown relatively down 2025. I'm gonna loop in Jefferson this conversation though
5:27because we are dealing with again that kind of quarterback upgrade situation going on here. But here's my thing with AJB and I actually I wrote this whole
5:35article you can find on rotoire.com.
5:37Originally I had AJB wide receiver 8 or so.
5:40more and more I just look at it. Why are we fading AJ Freaking Brown? Or like why are we not ranking him as the top six
5:47wide receiver that we know he is capable of being? Because he's going to get to play with all due respect to Ryan
5:53Tanahill and Super Bowl MVP Jaylen Herz.
5:56All right, no Herz slander going on here. Drake May based on what we saw last year, he's going to be the best
6:00passing quarterback that AJ Brown has gotten a chance to play with. All right, they traded that 2028 first round pick to get him. We have a motivated AJ Brown
6:08coming off a season where yeah, we saw him fall off and he still posted top 12 numbers in terms of PPR points per game
6:15and he was crushing it even more than that when you actually look at more the second half of the season once he was
6:20more so recovered from that hamstring injury. So I watched the games guys. I know Eagles fans maybe say ah the drops
6:26and the wild card loss to the 49ers.
6:28What about that Chargers game where he was letting some balls go through his hand as well? I know and there were some
6:33lows, but man, I'm not gonna forget about everything we've seen from freaking AJ Brown throughout the rest of his career. I don't love the long-term
6:40knee stuff. If you are in dynasty and you're in a situation where you just want to kind of sell him near the peak
6:45of his powers and stuff, I totally get that. But I just think motivated AJB potentially best quarterback play of his career. Really don't want to overthink
6:53this one. He is my wide receiver six because again, not even trying to slander Jayen Hurst, but I went ahead and this was kind of the study I want to
6:59do for this tier, right?
7:01catchable target rate as defined by our fine friends over at PFF. Okay, catchable target rate in 2025 excluding screens because that can make things a
7:09little bit wonky with their old quarterback compared to their new quarterback. Okay, this applies to Justin Jefferson, AJ Brown in this tier.
7:16Drake London as well, who we're going to talk about in a minute, spoiler alert.
7:19But last season, guys, Justin Jefferson ninth worst catchable target rate among all wide receivers against 73 qualified players. And now gets Kyler Murray where
7:28yeah last year McCarthy 60.7% mostly McCarthy to Justin Jefferson.
7:33Okay, this is just overall numbers but 61% catchable target rate for Justin Jefferson last year. Kyler Murray in those first five weeks guys is all the
7:41way up there at 69.6%.
7:44So plus 9% difference in catchable target rate for what Justin Jefferson saw last year compared to what we should be expecting with Kylo Murray. And AJB's
7:51got a nice little boost too. Plus 6.4% 4% looking at Jayen Herz and Drake May last season. I mentioned that again. 73
7:58qualified wide receiver sample. Guess who number one wide receiver was in catchable target rate. I'll give you two seconds. That's right. Stefon Diggs,
8:07baby. And you look even downfield, it was Stefon Diggs and Kahan Booty. Again, coming down with a lot of those balls.
8:12All right, I'm not trying to say that Drake May didn't get any help out there, but just everything we saw from Drake
8:17May. Most of the efficiency stats said he should have been MVP. All right, Stafford, a little more touchdowns, no more counting numbers, whatever. Whoever
8:24you thought was going to win, Drake May deserve to be in that top two. What if the guy who was almost the MVP in year
8:29two gets better and now he's got a legit wide receiver one involved? And we've seen this sort of breakout from Josh
8:34Allen when they got Stefon Digs. It helped Kyler Murray back in the day when they got the Andre Hopkins. When these
8:40quarterbacks get a true alpha number one that can make everything that much harder for defenses, we've seen big-time jumps. What if Drake May takes a jump?
8:49All right, it's crazy because of how good he already was, but we just added AJ Brown. This offense is a situation
8:54where the schedule's going to be harder, which okay, could mean that there's less efficiency, and I agree with that. It's going to be tough for Drake May to lead
9:00the freaking NFL in yards per attempt to completion rate again. But the other side of that coin is I think this team
9:06threw the 10th fewest passes in the NFL last year. But if you look at drop back rate over expected, which is not overall
9:13volume, right? We're looking at actually like when were they throwing when the game script when the game situation said they should be or shouldn't be. The
9:21Patriots were actually the fifth most passhappy team last year in terms of that drop back rate over expected but they were usually winning in the second
9:28half and didn't need to throw. God forbid again whatever. Drake May's efficiency goes down a little bit. If we see that overall volume get taken up
9:35though could be huge for this passing game and accordingly huge for AJ Brown.
9:38So again overall wide receiver one upside tier. Justin Jefferson and AJ Brown leading things off. I got wide receiver seven as CD Lamb here. Okay,
9:46he's been going a little bit earlier.
9:48I'm not out on the guy. Again, he's wide receiver seven, but we got to make tough decisions in the first couple rounds of
9:52fantasy drafts. And there is a chance that George Pickins is the dude in Dallas. Okay, I still think it's Sidi.
10:00Last year, we had 12 full games, all right, with Cidi and Pickkins together.
10:03And it's tricky because we had that Bears game where Sidi got knocked out after like three or four snaps. Lions game, he got knocked out at halftime.
10:09weird week 18 game. Always got to worry about those two. But in those 12 games, it was Sidi with 116 targets and
10:15Pickkins with 99. Also 16.6 PPR points per game for Sidi. Pickings was like at 15 or something like that. So still top
10:2312 numbers for both guys, but more so mid-tier wide receiver one numbers. And as much as yeah, I want to be involved
10:28in this Cowboys offense and everything.
10:30And you could make the case that you know what's really the difference other than a little bit of real life talent
10:34between someone like Jamar Chase and CD Lamb leading these high octane passing attacks. I just think that again that gap between CD and Pickkins could be a
10:42lot tighter than what we're seeing between obviously T. Higgins and Jamar Chase. CD Lamb accordingly might wide receiver seven. Wide receiver eight Mr.
10:50Nico Collins someone who I have been drafting relentlessly some might even say recklessly and best ball land early this summer. But I just think when you
10:57look at the overall talent of again I mean overall combination I should say of talent check easily. Only Puka has averaged more yards per hour run than
11:05Nico Collins over the course of the past three seasons. All right, we got the age factor. He's 27 at this point. Just got
11:11a nice long-term extension. Fantastic volume. Tank. All right, I saw the video of him running some crispy Rouse the other day. Would be an awesome comeback
11:19story. But you know, Jaylen Noel, Jaden Higgins, the Iowa State boys, Dalton Schultz, a tight end. It's an offense constructed to flow through Nico Collins
11:27first and foremost. And then slightly lesser extent checking this box, but the quarterback factor. Okay, we all saw the playoffs. It was absolutely disgusting.
11:34Please, for the love of God, CJ Strad, do not do that again. But if you do look at the overall larger sample regular
11:40season numbers for Straoud, they were stepped back in the right direction. All right, 2023 rookie year was great. 2024, not so much. 2025 actually saw him
11:49getting going again. And hey, he's a 24 year old quarterback, okay? Not every single guy coming out is going to be Bon
11:55Knicks or Jaden Daniels with 50 plus caller starts to their name. We should have a little bit more patience for guys
11:59like CJ Strad and Caleb Williams amongst many other ones out here. So again, for any wide receiver conversation, I just feel like those are kind of the four
12:06main categories we're generally looking for. All right. How good is the guy?
12:10Their talent, what's their volume situation? Okay, again, looking very good for Nico. Are there age or injury concerns going on? And then it's just
12:17that quarterback play. Again, very, very clean eval. I would not be surprised if we could finally get a good year of good
12:23luck from these injury gods if Nico Collins can put forward a top three finish at the position. Closing things out to again a guy who I think could
12:30similarly be a top three wide receiver in fantasy land this year. Give me Mr.
12:34Drake London. It's interesting though.
12:36This is the worst quarterback situation we've kind of gone through so far. Okay.
12:40But in London's case, maybe it can be okay because Michael Pennix, even if through his limited career samples so far, hasn't exactly, you know, lit the
12:48league on fire or anything like that.
12:49But my god, does this dude love feeding Drake London the football. 12 career games with Michael Penn. If you take that again, 17 game target pace, Drake
12:57London would be at 188. So again, was absolutely crushing last year before. He had his own injuries to deal with. Came
13:04back a little bit hobbled down the stretch. Couldn't quite get things going with Kirk Cousins the same way. Also was kind of the time Kyle Pittz was getting
13:10going as well. So I would be a little bit concerned there with everyone assuming that Pitts is going to be, you
13:14know, doing his best week 15 impression throughout uh 2026 again. So the other side though is Tuatago Valoa who I would
13:20think is going to be the favorite to start in week one and probably keep the job for a decent bit. I just think that
13:26when you're trying to look at these quarterbacks and say like who is most likely kind of bringing Kevin Stfansky's offense from the playbook to the actual
13:33field more consistently, it probably is Tua. But I am worried about it guys. On the one hand, Tua not an old guy and he
13:40played really truly great football in 2022 and 2023. Even a lot of these advanced efficiency numbers in 2024 said he was again one of the league's better
13:48quarterbacks out there. But what's the difference between those three years in 2025? Tyreek Hill arguably the best wide receiver of the last six, seven years.
13:58Feel free to go ahead with Deamar Chase, but man, Tyreek is in that conversation.
14:02So special special special talent that obviously elevated Tua and the rest of that Dolphins offense. So hopefully Tua gets back to partying like it is again
14:102022 2023 again. But I'm nervous, guys.
14:14Tua at this point in his career, understandably very afraid, as he should be. I don't want to say afraid, but he
14:21gets the ball out of his hand hands as fast as possible. All right. He's not trying to get any more concussions.
14:25That's Hey, best ability is availability. I get it. He doesn't have a big arm downfield. Defenses have managed to take away some of those
14:33timing routes over the middle that again, he was so lethal with the Tyreek and obviously Jaylen Waddle as well over these past three years. We have a
14:40complete zero in terms of offscript ability. I just wonder if Tua is going to look a lot like the guy in 2025 who
14:47was one of the worst quarterbacks in football in an offense that's been a little bit stale, right? I feel like Kevin Stfansky gets a very very big
14:55benefit of the doubt from everyone for I don't know feeding prime Nick Chub half a decade ago. I'm not saying he's
15:01horrible or anything, but just this entire Atlanta Falcons organization guys, when's the last time we've seen the Falcons like actually consistently
15:07do good things? bringing in Stfansky and Tua. All right. It's not exactly the ideal, you know, kind of partnership for this offensive environment that we're
15:15expecting to get fireworks with in 2026.
15:18So, I love Drake London the talent. I do think he should be in the conversation for top 10 real life wide receiver.
15:23That's why I can't move him down too low. The volume should be there. I do just get worried about that offensive
15:28environment a little bit more than some of these other situations. But, I did mention Jefferson, AJ Brown, some of the advancements they have made in catchable
15:34target rate for Drake London. It's a little bit lower. 68% catchable target rate last year. 71% was actually what Tua was putting up in 2025. So plus
15:44three and a half percent for London.
15:45Still in the green. We see guys like Michael Pitman and Wondale Robinson as a potential bigger risk, you know, here.
15:50We'll talk about them much much later in this tier list. Don't worry. But it is again enough of a red flag for me with
15:55Drake London to put him at the bottom of this tier. Tier number three, high volume wide receiver ones and overqualified wide receiver twos.
16:04Starting off with a lot of people's idea of this year's JSN wide receiver 10, Devonte Smith Njigba. Should we roll with that name going on? Devonte is his
16:12own guy. All right. Maybe the best college football wide receiver of the 21st century. Probably had one of the best seasons of any wide receiver
16:19obviously in that incredible Bama year.
16:21He torched my Buckeyes. He like 215 yards in one half. Put those demons away for a second. We've been hearing this
16:27constant drum beat throughout the entire offseason, guys. Shout out to my former boss, Matthew Barry, talking about one of the things he heard at the combine
16:32was just the Eagles overall internal idea that Devonte Smith is capable of so much more. And I'm inclined to believe him, guys. I mean, this dude, he's just
16:40one of those guys where when I go back on Mondays after, you know, can't watch every single game on Sunday. I try to,
16:46believe me, but I kind of go like four box and then red zone. I do that for the early afternoon, late afternoon slate.
16:52Monday, I go back there and just, you know, luckily with some of the awesome film advancements we have, uh, go back
16:57and basically watch every single pass thrown, usually at least 10 plus yards downfield. Tough to get to every single play sometimes. But I watch a lot of
17:04football, right? And Devonte Smith was one of these guys where like you would see a target to AJ Brown, you see, you
17:09know, Dallas catch one down to see him and out the corner of your eye, you would just see some nasty, you know,
17:14route going with Dvonte Smith. So anyway, I agree with the sentiment that there's a lot more meat on the bone for
17:20Devonte Smith. It's an offense that has nowhere to go but up in terms of the schematic department as all Eagles fans
17:25know. Kevin Patulo, everything going on there. I just really think again this top 12 treatment for Devonte Smith very very much warranted. Jonah Herz, he gets
17:34a lot of flack. But man, look at the numbers that AJ Brown even as a 1B what Devonte Smith has been doing. I really
17:40do think for condensing more and more of that volume around just one guy. Herz is capable enough and so is Dvonte putting
17:45up a huge huge season. So he's leading off this tier for me. Wide receiver 11 first major curveball here at least in
17:51terms of what we're seeing with early ADP. Give me new Broncos wide receiver one. Jaylen Wadd and I will caveat this
17:58with when looking at ADP. All right, most sites right now ESPN's even, you know, higher stakes FFPC, NFC, wherever you guys want to play, you're going to
18:06see Wadd more so as a low-end wide receiver, too. I'm ranking them wide receiver 11. You guys know your league better than me. All right, draft them
18:14close to wide receiver 23 if you can. I just hate when, you know, these alleged fantasy experts such as myself come to
18:20you guys and say, "I love Jaylen Wadd.
18:22He's my breakout candidate for this year." Oh, but where do you have him ranked? Wide receiver 23. Why is that?
18:27Because that's where his ADP is going. I don't think that helps you guys. All right? I just really don't. I think if
18:31I'm really high on a player, I should accordingly rank him higher than ADP.
18:35And then yeah, if you look at ADP and he's not even on your freaking list and you're not worried about, you know, Bob
18:40and Kevin and freaking dumbass Billy in your league taking this dude ahead of, you know, ADP, then yes, please wait on
18:46the guy. But for me, I'm really high on Jaylen Waddle. So accordingly, I have him ranked that way. I just think that
18:51again very very good chance to be this year's George Pickkins where we see a new offensive environment with an improved quarterback actually unlock the
18:58incredible version of Waddle who remember guys first year when he wasn't actually having to be this overqualified number two next to Tyreek Hill managed
19:06to have like 140 targets and more of an underneath role. All right, this is pre Mike McDaniel, but they were just
19:12feeding him the ball underneath. Made very, very good things happen. And then we had again the most high-flying addition of those Mike McDaniel uh
19:18Dolphins. Got another wide receiver, one caliber season out of Waddle there, working more downfield. So I think this dude is as talented as they come. I just
19:25don't really see a difference between like Wadd versus Devonte Smith here.
19:29Okay, everyone seems to be in agreement that Devonte Smith, we removed AJ Brown.
19:34All right, well Waddle, we removed Tyreek Hill from the picture. All right, Jaylen Herz versus Bo Knicks as a pure passer. Don't yell at me, Eagles fans.
19:41All right, I know Bo has some room to go and everything, but Troy Franklin, Marvin Mens, and these guys. And again,
19:47we just talked about these quarterbacks taking a nice step when they have gotten a true wide receiver one. And Waddle, even if I am overstating how good he can
19:55be, he's got that sort of just downfield, you know, kind of lid lifting, gravity ability, just make everything so much easier for the
20:02offense. So I think Wadd again just compared Devonte Smith really talented overqualified wide receiver too throughout their career. Now they're in
20:09line to be in a pro probably better skiing offense overall and with the volume protect projection to go their way. Very very very excited what Wadd
20:16could do this year. The the caveat would be there's not really a Courtland Sutton type of player in uh Philly for Devonte
20:23Smith to worry about. So I do have Smitty one spot ahead. But man, I've heard some people say, "Oh, I don't want
20:29to deal with Shawn Peyton wide receivers." How about this? Here's your freaking headline. What if Michael Thomas ran a 4-3? That's 2026. Jaylen
20:37Waddle. So, hey, I've been wrong before.
20:39I'm going to be wrong plenty more times again. All right. So, it's not a, you know, case shut thing. I just Shawn
20:44Peyton's one of the best offensive minds of the 21st century. He's moving things over to Davis Webb this year, but he's
20:48going to be very involved still, you know, in the week to week just offensive game planning. Man, I just I don't want
20:54to miss on this dude, guys. It's an ascending offense. It's a fantastic roster. We're still in this NFC or AFC West where yeah, Broncos defense is
21:02nice. I could have mentioned that too with Nico Collins before like we do have to consider a little bit potential for
21:07there not to be a ton of pass game volume for these players inside just uh offenses with an awesome defense. But
21:13you know when you are focusing around one guy as we saw with JSN the Seahawks last year still very capable of getting
21:18things going. So more and more a Waddle I believe in the scheme. I do think Bon Knicks is a good real life quarterback.
21:25Watch that freaking Packers game he had in December last year, guys.
21:30I know every quarterback flashes. Cam Ward, amazing highlight tape. Really, really, really bad numbers. So, we can talk about all 30 quarterbacks, all 32
21:39quarterbacks, you know, having their moments, you know. Oh, look at Shore Sanders versus the Saints. Uh, or not the Saints, the Titans last season. So,
21:44I don't want to play that game, but Bick's out toolled Josh Allen. I know there's a difference in the defenses they were facing, but I do believe in Bo
21:53Nick's ability to be at least an above average NFL quarterback. I think Jaylen Waddle is legit. If I'm wrong on Bo
21:58Knicks and Colton Sutton stays involved, okay, I'm going to be wrong in this rank, but something getting a little bit older. Jaylen Waddle very, very much in
22:05on the guy. Wide receiver 12, Lad McConi for me. No more Keenan Allen who led the freaking Chargers and targets last year.
22:12I knew he was involved, but actually going back and seeing that straight up was pretty surprising to me. Again, lad such a great rookie season. and he was a
22:19little bit banged up throughout last year as well and you removed the biggest threat to his underneath and intermediate targets and Keenan Allen. I
22:25do think Vlad Mcconkey is very very much deserving of this rising year three hype. Again, if you guys have listened to me so far talk about quarterbacks and
22:32running backs on this new channel. First of all, thank you. I appreciate you guys tuning in. But my biggest bet for this
22:37year is just being high on the Chargers office. I can see the Justin Herbert, Mike McDaniel partnership with healthy offensive tackles, mind you, leading the
22:44entire NFL in scoring. So why wouldn't I want to be ranking their likely number one wide receiver very very high here.
22:49So Lab Maki my wide receiver 12 wide receiver 13 the Ohio State University's Amecha Ibuka I know second half of last
22:58year sucked. Where do you think we would be consensusly ranking Ibuka though if we Benjamin Buttoned last season? All right if he started off slow, he was a
23:06little bit banged up and then all of a sudden he just terrorizes the league for a good six, seven week stretch. That's
23:11kind of where I'm getting at here. And obviously we can have good explanations for that stretch. All right. When we do
23:15see a player have these severe first and second half splits, my first thought is always like, can we explain why that
23:20happened? It's very easy with this case.
23:22We had Ibuka himself had that hamstring injury. And if you guys have been watching that Netflix quarterback show, you're seeing just how banged up Baker
23:28was throughout the years. So, Greg Almond calculated it, too. It was something like 10 different injuries were like on the injury report at one
23:35point or another for Baker Mayfield.
23:37Dude is obviously, you know, tough as they come. Eats a bowl of, you know, nails without the milk for breakfast and
23:41all that. I just think that all the injury stuff going on being miscast having to play X while Mike Evans was
23:47sideline now being able to be Zack Robinson's new Cooper Cup doppelganger not my words that's what his offensive coordinator said from that you know
23:55obviously Shawn McVey Tree over the years I just think a Mecca Ibuka really shouldn't be surprised if he pushes for the league elite in receptions is the
24:02gap between him and Chris Goblin a little big that would be would be the one you know potential concern here but
24:07again rising secondyear talent he just commanded how many freaking targets as a rookie out here. Did so many good things. Top three numbers, guys, for a
24:16six week stretch. Not trying to overthink this one. Give me a Mecha Buka. Wide receiver 13.
24:21Wide receiver 14. Zay Flowers, guys. One of only six wide receivers with north of,200 receiving yards last season, entering year four at this point. Really
24:29the only show in town in this passing game. All right. Yes, I will talk about Rashad Baitman later, but even me, even
24:35the guy who can't stop drafting Rashad Baitman around 18 and every draft I'm in, can't deny Zay Flowers is set up
24:41pretty well. So, shout out to again everyone's favorite wide receiver, you know, afficionado Matt Harmon for putting out some nice Z Flowers
24:47propaganda in his own right. I just think Zay, he's one of these guys where he actually translates that awesome ability after the catch to his route
24:54running as well. Just that overall twitchiness, man. It's the sort of archetype that I really do want to bet on. So, you know, not the perfect
25:01player. He's got these I read man he's got like some sort of hand problem where I don't think it's been always broken or
25:06anything like that but he can't he doesn't put the football I think in his left hand so he's had some fumbles over
25:12the years I know the most untimely fumble of all time in that AOFC championship but I think we focus too much on some of those fumbles some of
25:19the times where maybe he goes backwards instead of forwards when he gets the football in his hands. We don't just appreciate this dude again being one of
25:25six freaking wide receivers with over,200 yards last season. So all the Lamar Jackson injuries didn't help. We had Cooper freaking rush out there for
25:33SE segments of last year, but I think he put on the Z Flowers tape and I do this a lot of times guys over on my Twitter
25:38at Iheartit. I'll just post these, you know, two, three minute highlight tapes.
25:42And if you do go watch the Z Flowers one, you're go watch him first rep roasting Derek freaking Stingley, one of
25:47the best quarterbacks in the game down the sideline. He got Christian Gonzalez a couple times as well. Even the best quarterbacks in the league have had
25:53trouble staying with Zay Flowers with his short area quickness being highlighted in those occasions. So again, all the target upside in the
26:00world. Two-time should have probably even been three. Thre three-time MV or Yeah, but yeah, Lamar Jackson is his quarterback. Okay, we have a good thing
26:06going on there. It's an offense that I'm not going to assume is going to be better schematically. Tom Monin in my
26:12opinion. Obviously a really good offensive coordinator in his own right.
26:14So don't want to pretend like every single play caller change is going to be a positive, but who knows? Maybe we do
26:19see the Ravens, you know, leaning a bit more on play action and things like that. Very, very high ceiling for Z
26:24Flowers. I do think an under underappreciated opportunity to be this year's JSN if you will. Honestly, I love this entire tier guys. McConi mentioned
26:32Waddle, Ibuka, and Z Flowers. This tier of wide receivers makes me want to do auction drafts more than ever this year.
26:38All right, because I always get to round four and five in my fantasy drafts. You know, sometimes round three, especially trying to get ahead on Lab Manki and
26:44stuff. I just see these four wide receivers that I want to draft each and every time out. So, this pocket of wide
26:49receivers and even some of the other guys we're going to keep on talking about, it's made me more willing than ever to potentially do this like I'm
26:55still playing with name, but like a super Bowers draft strategy. If you're able to get one of the first two picks,
27:01you get Deir Gibbs or Bejian Robinson, come back around the turn, maybe you're playing in a league where you can get
27:08Brock Bowers at the end of round two and then we just take four or five straight wide receivers. We'll figure out the RB2
27:13on our squad later. So many fun wide receivers in this range. definitely again leaning towards trying to get four of the top 30ish guys if at all possible
27:24probably more like 40 42 we'll talk about the Jaden Reeds and the Josh Downs and those guys but again love love love
27:29this range of guys wide receiver 15 George Pickins wide receiver 16 T Higgins I talked about the Cowboys and Bengals thing before I just have
27:37Pickkins one spot ahead because there is that actual chance that we see him outperforming CD Lamb it is possible I don't see it with T Higgins and Jamar
27:45Chase but it is very Very interesting to me that T. Higgins who last time we saw him play a full season with a healthy
27:50Joe Burrow in 2014, he was a wide receiver five in PPR points per game. So we have seen again about over the last
27:58decade 15 different offenses produce multiple top 12 wide receivers in the same season. So that's 1.5 per year. All right. Last year we saw the Rams do it.
28:06Obviously Puka and Devonte Adams and the Cowboys were able to do it with CD Lamb and George Pickkins. So Tiggins and
28:11Jamar Chase did it in 2024. a lot of Vikings teams in that sample, funny enough. Then Diggs, then, you know, Theo
28:17and Jefferson and guys of that nature, but again, it's not the most rare thing in the world. I do think the Bengals and
28:23Cowboys respectfully have a chance to do it, but very surprised in early ESPN drafts. And I know who's drafting on ESPN right now, but we're getting to the
28:30point where I just want to be there for you guys home leagues. All right, as much as I do think it's sharper ADP at
28:36FFPC and some of these higher stake sites and everything, and that matters and I play over there, too, and that's important and we'll help you guys win
28:41over there as well. A lot of us agree to be an ESPN Yahoo and sleeper. So, we do have to respect those ADPs at a certain
28:47point. I do think it's wild to see T going two rounds after George Pickkins here. So, Pickins is someone going regularly in the top 10 in a lot of
28:55these wide receiver rankings. So, I am a little bit lower on him. I just can't quite get him ahead of these dudes who
29:01are clear-cut in my opinion wide receiver ones in their offenses.
29:04Flowers, Makoni, Ibuka, Wadd, Devonte Smith.
29:09Maybe I'm wrong. Wadd Sutton, McConi, Quinton Johnson, Ibuka, Corin Sutton, Zay has no one. I'm not worried about Mark Andrews at this point. Give me a
29:17freaking break, people. So, again, not saying I have all these figured out, but for me, I just George Pickkins is the
29:23most expensive number two wide receiver in fantasy. I got him wide receiver 15.
29:26I don't think that's outrageous, but again, according to early drafts, that would be a little bit lower than usual.
29:32Another guy I'm lower on, Chris Ave, guys. Another Buckeye. All right, I got the hat on. I live in Columbus whole
29:37life. Shout out Buckeyes career best marks last year targets 156 receptions 100 over 1100 yards. He crushed in the fantasy playoffs. It is a little bit
29:48curious to me that we honestly and earnestly and I think rationally enough we look at the Saints second half schedule. Jets, Titans, Buccaneers,
29:58Panthers a couple times, one layup after another and we say well Tyler Shuck was great but look at that schedule. We
30:04don't really do anything about that with Chris. This was a little bit Michael Wilsonesque. Okay, Rashahe was out of the picture. Devon Vale and Jawan
30:11Johnson were the only other guys competing for targets. I think Chris is awesome. He was more of an upside wide receiver three earlier in his career and
30:18he just had the second half boom against some really bad defenses as the only show in town and now we got Jordan
30:24Tyson. Okay, so I would like to believe in Tyler Shook year two Kell Moore offense doing good things, but I don't
30:30think the Saints are like guaranteed to be on the same level as the Bengals or the Cowboys. You look at these early
30:35kind of preseason Vegas implied team offense scoring ranks. Saints coming out 23rd, which I think is fair. Sit down if you're bored. You know, it's July 20th.
30:44Go sit by the pool, hang out with your significant other. Probably more important doing this, but if you got some extra time, rank where you think
30:49all these offenses are going to be finishing going to next year. And I bet that you will probably have the Saints
30:54closer to 32 than one. Not saying they can't break out, but again, it's the summer. Every single offense is going to
30:59be better. Everything's going to work out. I just think the Saints are going to be more average to below average on
31:04offense than a juggernaut. I think Tyson has a real good chance of splitting things with Chris Ave. I'm not totally convinced that he is going to be again
31:11this undisputed wide receiver one like he's sort of being drafted to be. Some of the blood clot stuff also isn't great. So, I'm not even all that worried
31:18about the concussion thing. I don't think necessarily has this in like I don't think he's what's the word I'm looking for? I don't think he's
31:27innately more concussion prone than someone else, but it was a huge concern.
31:30we had last year and that's why he was being priced to wide receiver three.
31:34It's one of the bigger jumps in terms of like ADP year-over-year. Again, he had a great last season. I'm not taking that
31:39away from wide receiver 17 for me. But again, a little more confidence in Justin Herbert and Mike McDaniel, in Lamar Jackson, in Shawn Peyton and Bo
31:48Nicks, then Tyler Shuck and Kell Moore, Chris Ave. Last guy in this tier for me, wide receiver 17. Next tier, tier number
31:55four, the upside is clear, but we aka me have some questions. Starting off with wide receiver 18, Rasheed Rice. And this
32:02is low for it, but my god, I am so freaking sick and tired of Rasheed Rice and everything that he has done to this
32:08Chief's offense. All right. And hey, I'm not trying to be, oh man, I am such a morally good person. I don't want to
32:14draft this bad, you know, real life person or anything. I drafted Deshawn Watson relentlessly in like 2022 and 2023 before it became just very, very
32:22clear how much worse he was at football in Cleveland. So, I'm not even trying to, you know, be the good overall guy
32:28here necessarily. Draft whoever you want. I don't We're trying to win fantasy games, man. There's a lot of bad people in the NFL. There's a lot of bad
32:34people in any, you know, facet of business throughout the world. So, all that aside, I just look at Rece Rice and he's such a
32:41limited receiver overall. And again, you can look at Matt Harmon's reception perception charts. You can use your eyes and just kind of look at these Saints
32:47games over the last couple years. He's freaking Dallas Goddar inside the 10 yard line. He's f He is like if the
32:53Bills decided to run their entire offense through Khalo Shakur. Like that's kind of how what I see with Shi Rice. So yeah, maybe the Chiefs keep
32:59doing that. And when they've done it these last two years, he's been a wide receiver one. So if that happens and he
33:03keeps his head on straight throughout the year, he's going to be a wide receiver one. I'm going to look dumb for
33:07ranking him wide receiver 18. I get it.
33:09But we're one more knucklehead to be nice. One more knucklehead move away from him being suspended for god knows long or just kicked off the team. He is
33:17recovering from a knee surgery still that he had to rehab in jail. Yeah, we had that freaking going on people. And
33:23again, he's just such a limited receiver. We got the change with Eric Pianne now taking over. Maybe he looks at this offense and says, "Why are we
33:29freaking forcing everything to a wide receiver on screens and three yards downfield when we have arguably the best quarterback of the past 10 years under
33:36center for us?" I just think there's a lot of red flags for a guy that we have to use what a second round pick on right
33:42now in the year 2026.
33:44Again, I see the upside. He is very, very explosive after the catch. He's a threat inside the 10 yard line. Andy
33:50Reed even uses him. He's like wildat situations. Like the dude's electric with the football in his hands. I'm not trying to say he's not, but very very
33:57very expensive cost for a guy that we're just really hoping continues to get funneled screen targets. Not really for me. Receive Rice wide receiver 18. Wide
34:06receiver 19 Ted McMillan. I have moved this dude up and down these ranks I don't know how many times this offseason, guys. Because on the one
34:12hand, I'm like, is it that different from Drake London or Nico Collins? Like we do have some quarterback questions, but we believe in the talent. We got the
34:19youth, you know, big body contested catch artist out here. T-Mac, last year, you guys had so many freaking sick catches where the play got called back
34:27or he got one foot in bounds or was like that crappy OPI call against the Buccaneers late in the season as well. A
34:33lot of yards kind of left on the field that were lost in the box score. So, I see the talent here. I just can't fully
34:41invest myself in Bryce Young. This dude struggles to throw for 3,000 yards, let alone 4,000 over the course of 17 games.
34:48They want to be a little more wide open on offense. This is a make or break year for Bryce Young. I wouldn't be surprised
34:52if they do try to open it up. Like find out find out Carolina if Bryce Young is going to be your guy this year because
34:57you're about to give him a you're about to have to give him or at least make the decision a very very big contract. If
35:02not that if he is if he rises up to the occasion, T-Max's going to look cheap here. Wide receiver 19 for me just too
35:08much of a question at quarterback for me to go much higher. Very similar sentiment. Wide receiver 20 Garrett Wilson. This has been the weird thing,
35:15too, where I agree, Gino Smith, big- time upgrade over what we saw last season from Justin Fields and Tyrod Taylor. But I mentioned before that
35:23catchable target rate.
35:26Go back and watch Garrett Wilson a little bit, guys. Lot of underneath stuff. Lot of, oh, Jets are down three touchdowns. There's another 10- yard
35:33curl to Garrett Wilson. Okay, marching down the field. 77% catchable target rate for Garrett Wilson last year. You look at Gino last year, he was at 66%.
35:42Okay, so it's not a perfect one- all stat. All right, when Trey Tucker is your number one wide receiver and no one
35:48else is getting separation, it's going to be harder to throw a catchable football scheme matters as well. The manner in which the wide receivers are
35:54being used as well also matters in the catchable target rate. But I just we really want to again, we're talking like
36:00round three, round four picks here still, guys. We want to match up Garrett Wilson who just got two, not one, two
36:06first round pass catchers added to this offense. And we really want to say Gino Smith, the 36-y old, sorry, journeyman.
36:13That's the guy we want to bet on. With Frank Reich, who spent last year leading a horrible Stanford offense, was out of
36:19the league in 2024.
36:22I really struggle to say like that's going to be such a great new situation for Garrett Wilson. So, this is like the
36:27first year I haven't been buying in on him. So, just the fantasy guys, you know, telling me to f right off and all
36:31of a sudden Garrett goes crazy. wouldn't be the most surprising thing in the world, but man, too many red flags for
36:37me to really be too in on Garrett Wilson this year at my wide receiver 20. Wide receiver 21, Luther Burton. I'm buying
36:44the hype, guys. And it's scary. And I know we can look at it and say, "Oh, man. A lot of screens, a lot of shot
36:49plays, those borderline erotic yards for route run numbers. Only JS and Puka better than this dude last year. Number one among rookie wide receivers over the
36:57past decade. smaller sample size, but I get it how some of it could be skewed, but no DJ Moore there. Roman Dunay, I
37:05think he's good. When I see Luther Burden get that football in his hands, though, I say that guy is great. This
37:11dude moves differently. He moves, and I know this is going to sound like an insult, he moves like how we wanted,
37:19like the the highlight reel of Cadarius Tony. That's what I see with Luther Burton with the football in his hands.
37:24And I mean that the most complimentary way possible. So if Cad if if Cadarius Tony reach the potential that fantasy nerds like myself thought he would, I
37:33think that could be Luther Burton. We love Ben Johnson, Caleb Williams, ascending year three quarterback. Why shouldn't their probable number one
37:40receiver who Ben Johnson himself was telling us he's buying stock in? Why shouldn't we be raking that guy high?
37:45Wide receiver 21 for me, Luther Burton.
37:48I love it. Unk tier after this. still the same tier, but wide receiver 22, Terry McLaren, wide receiver 23, Dvonte Adams, wide receiver 24, Mike Evans.
37:56McLaren's gonna be 31 in September.
37:58Adams is gonna be 34 in December. Mike Evans is going to be 33 in August. That is not great in fantasy land, guys. So,
38:04this is one of those things where there's some survivorship bias here, okay? Not to get all freaking academic on you all, but when I say things like
38:11over the past 10 years, only 3% of top 12 fantasy wide receivers have been aged 31. 3% have been age 33. one percentage
38:20age 34.
38:22We need to consider that how many 33 year old wide receivers are in the NFL in the first place. All right? And
38:27actually, when you do start looking at the ones that are, guess what? They got to be pretty freaking good to still be
38:31in the league 10 plus years. So, you honestly could make the case that, okay, they're still around. Like, they are good. They should be capable of bucking
38:37trends. And you do go back longer, 2000s, Toro Owens, Marvin Harrison, Tim Brown, even Jerry Rice still doing his thing. Like, these are guys,
38:45particularly Evans and Adams. They're two of the better wide receivers of the generation. We would be expecting them to honestly be able to tell father time
38:52to f off. And they also stand out as guys where it's like, all right, I have Evans ranked wide receiver 24. When week
38:59one comes around, he's probably going to be top 15 for me. Brock Pur's number one wide receiver. We love the Kyle Shanahan
39:03offense. Same thing with Devonte Adams.
39:05Same thing with Terry McLaren. For as long as, you know, Jaden Daniels is going to be healthy and ready to go as
39:09well. I just need to tip my cap a little bit to the age stuff. All right. And again, I went through the spiritship
39:16bias and everything, but for me, there's too many guys where I see the upside. I like their offenses as well, and I just
39:24believe in their overall youthful talent to be going too hard in the paint on these other wide receivers. So, this is
39:30pretty much where they're priced. Terry maybe goes a little bit earlier. So, I think it's kind of baked in. Like, I'm
39:34not telling you guys to completely fade these dudes. I just don't want to be going into every single draft coming away with 33y old Mike Evans and 34 year
39:41old Dvonte Adams. So, could be wrong.
39:44Obviously, again, if you guys want to move them to top of this tier, that would honestly be fine. Maybe I'll even
39:49change my mind and do that. So, again, I could see like wide receiver 18, 19, 20 here. I would really struggle to kind of
39:54put them ahead of, you know, pickins, Higgins, and a lav. That would be the line. So, that's why we do tiers for the
39:59reason, but again, just enough concerns with the age stuff going on for these guys to prioritize. Again, very, very good wide receivers who also just see a
40:06lot of volume ahead of them. Last guy in this tier and right now, again, recording this end in July, Malik Neighbors for me, wide receiver 25. I
40:13would get him up into the middle of tier three if we just knew pup was not going to be an issue. Okay. Hell, if we knew
40:19neighbors, no pup, we're good to go and we're gonna have the usual just baller out there at full health. Rank him wide
40:25receiver five, rank him wide receiver six. This dude is so good. There's minimal target competition. And I also think Jackson Dart is fantastic. All
40:32right, him versus Cam Ward should be a very real conversation. Both dudes I do believe will have a bright, bright future in the NFL. That said, the health
40:40thing matters. It's a huge potential issue and if we're not going to be able to have this dude for the first four
40:44weeks of the year and then we get an extra ramp up again just too early for me to be spending a fourth round pick on
40:49that and feeling good about it in fantasy land. Also, shout out to my guy Jagger May. Do some shows with him on
40:55his on this channel. He said it right guys. Brian Callahan, Matt Naggie, Greg Roman. That is a nightmare blunt rotation. I do not want that trio of
41:02coaches leading my offense particularly the passing game side of it. All right.
41:05I know Roman has done some good stuff run gamewise, but even then like really Lamar Jackson, I think he'd still be
41:12Lamar Jackson without Greg Roman. So, not trying to slander the dude too much, but Malik Neighbors more so than anything. The health and just the
41:19overall kind of brain trust going on with the Giants give me enough cause for concern there. Tier five now, we are
41:25saying there's a chance. All right. So guy again some guys where round five round six we're kind of at this point
41:32could see them finish I would say top 15 top 16 and shouldn't be the most surprising thing in the world. So wide
41:36receiver 26 Christian Watson for me you guys know the Luther Birden yards per route run stats we all throw around and
41:42stuff. Christian Watson wide receiver four last year coming back from that injury. I really do think that again no Dantavian Wixs now Ro no no Romeo Dobs
41:50fully healthy Christian Watson hopefully with a fully healthy Jordan Love wide receiver one caliber numbers are on the table. This dude is so explosive. He can
41:58stretch the defense and again he did a lot of this last year like he helped make Malik Willis a lot of money with
42:03things he was able to do down the stretch. put some respect on Christian Watson's name. Wide receiver 27 a little bit lower in the market on this guy.
42:10Jameson Williams though and the main reason it's the damning splits with and without Sam Leaporta. Okay, you look at it first I think it was eight or nine
42:17weeks that Leapora was playing Jameson Williams 10.9 PPR points per game just wide receiver 33 afterwards though 15.2 PPR points per game for the wide
42:27receiver nine. So, I have him a little bit lower, but it scares me. Like, every year I kind of do the fades who could
42:32players I'm fading, which would include Jameson Williams, but they terrify me.
42:36All right, like that is J because I do think he's really talented. He's only 25 years old and we love the offense. I
42:41just think there's a chance he could be a number three pass game option in that offense like he was for the first half
42:46of last season, but is someone where I know we say this about every wide receiver. A little bit better in baseball where you don't have to
42:52necessarily predict, you know, the great weeks he's going to be having there.
42:54Again, love the offense. Don't want to be too low on JMO. Just enough cause for concern with the Leaporta factor for me
43:00not to be too head over heels here. Drew Patson coming in too. We all have seen how he prioritized Trent McBride over
43:06the years as well. Wide receiver 28.
43:09This one's tough. DJ Moore, this is going to be the most like I told you so from whatever side ends up being right
43:17by probably week two this season. If DJ Moore goes for 110 yards and a touchdown in week one, it's going to be, "Oh my
43:23god, you guys really doubted Josh Allen's number one wide receiver."
43:26Really, DJ Moore. But if he does, if we're sitting here in week three, we're going to say, "Look at the list of the
43:33wide receivers the Bills have added, traded for Amari Cooper. All these signings that didn't work out, one after another. You guys really thought that DJ
43:41Moore coming off one of his worst seasons ever was gonna just magically be good again in Buffalo? You are high, my
43:47friend." So again, I'm more on the latter. This is about where he's ranked in the industry. I haven't made the biggest habit of clicking on him. I just
43:55think, and here's my biggest issue with DJ Moore. I think we all agree Ben Johnson is a genius, right? Caleb Williams not the most accurate
44:04quarterback right now. He makes the hard he makes the impossible a reality, but he can't hit the layup shot now. And
44:10that's a problem. All right. I also don't think there was a three minute long clip. Prove me wrong. Go ahead. I
44:18don't think there's a three minute long clip of just DJ Moore being wide open deep last year and Caleb Williams missing him. I think if DJ Moore was
44:25still capable of being an elite wide receiver one that Ben Johnson would have figured out how to do it. When I hear
44:30that he wasn't a good fit for Ben Johnson's system because he doesn't run Chris routes, but now that's going to be
44:36fine in Joe Brady's system. It's a weird kind of red flag for me. All right, so he came up big in the Packers games. I'm
44:43not saying he's going to be dust. He's a wide receiver three top 30 player for me. It's just this Bills offense. Ever
44:50since Diggs left, they become their entire mantra is everyone eats. Why are they going to get away from that for DJ
44:55Moore? You know what I'm saying? He is the best receiver they've had since Diggs. I do think Josh Allen on today,
45:05July 20th, 2026. I think Josh Allen is the best quarterback in the National Football League, but man, the numbers are going down. It's an offense that we
45:14haven't seen prioritize the number one wide receiver. It's an offense that's just been so bad with I got to read these wide receivers. I didn't want to
45:20read it. I got to read you guys the wide receivers. All right. Since 2024, the Bills have traded for DJ Moore and my
45:26Cooper. They have drafted Keon Coleman, Kaden Prather, and Skyler Bell. They have signed in free agency Josh Palmer, Curtis Samuel, Brandon Cooks, Gabe
45:35Davis, Elijah Moore, M. Collins, Mico Hardman, Tyrell Shavers, Lisca Chenalt, oh my god, Lisa, Quintes Cifphus, Chase Clayool, Marquez Bald Scantland, KJ
45:45Hamler, Jaylen Virgil, and Devin Tommpkins.
45:48M. Holland was probably the best signing andor trade andor draft pick of that group, guys. That's not a good track record to put it very, very nicely. So,
45:59DJ Moore, wide receiver 28 for me, not something I'm going in my way of drafting. Two rookies up next. Wide receiver 29, Jordan Tyson. Wide receiver
46:0730, Cardell Tate. Tyson was my pre-draft wide receiver one. I think he's Gen Z Amari Cooper. And I mean that in the
46:13nicest way possible. Just twitchy route running. People question his toughness.
46:17Give me a freaking break. Watch that dude go win the game against Texas Tech on one freaking leg down the field. Come
46:23back later in the season when I'm sure his agent was telling him just to rest and sit on his draft stock. Comes back
46:28so he can play against Arizona and against Colorado. gets injured again, which I know it's not great, but when we have someone who again, they're just
46:38recovering from a hamstring injury. It's not like his leg got freaking cut in half. Jordan Tyson for me, he looks like
46:43the best wide receiver. He was the most productive wide receiver playing against good highle competition at various points at Arizona State and really
46:50making good things happen in those big games. I got Tyson one spot ahead of Tate. I will say though, guys, as much
46:56as we all like to hype up rookie wide receivers, the overall hit rates over the past decade, not nearly as high as I
47:02would have thought. Okay, again, let's let's have some fun here. How many wide receivers do you think have posted top 24 numbers on a program basis as a
47:11rookie over the past decade? Top 24, not even top 12 past decade. 13. Only 1.3 per year, guys. So, yeah, Ted McMillan
47:22got there last year. 2024 we had neighbors BTJ and Makoni Tank Delon Puk who got there in 2023 but I just think
47:29for as much as we hype up these rookies and because a lot of times they get going in the second half of the year
47:34which is great that's when we're trying to win the fantasy championships I get there is some alert to that I just think
47:39when guys like Luther Burden go off in week 16 17 like it just sticks out in our mind so much more like oh yeah you
47:46know he didn't do anything first three months of the year but look what he did when my fantasy championship was on the
47:51line I would just be cautious this with Tate still only 21 years old. Tyson not too much older. I think he's 22 at this
47:58point. Their price is wide receiver threes. Like that would be the caveat here. We've seen these rookies priced a hell of a lot higher, be a lot more
48:05expensive. So the fact that they are as affordable, I'm willing to draft these guys where they're at. It's just it's tough for me to pound the table and say
48:11like I need to come away with Carnell Tate and Jordan Tyson in every draft.
48:14Tyson has to deal with Chris Lave. Tate less target competition, but Calvin Ridley is not dead yet. Juan Delale Robinson obviously has a lot of love
48:21there with Brian Dable. Kim Ward, Tyler Shook could both be awesome. Can't exactly assume that. Wide receiver 29, wide receiver 30 for me and I feel fine
48:30about that. Last one in the tier wide receiver 31. Rome Adun 15.5 PPR points per game during the first eight weeks of
48:37last season. That's good for wide receiver 12 status. And then we had the heel and foot issues that made him a
48:42complete dud down the stretch of last season. So, I don't love a dunes talking about, you know, not getting surgery and
48:48just kind of having to deal with this new foot issue going on, but the way, you know, learned doctors, the shout out
48:53Jeff Muellers of the world on Twitter.
48:55The way they talked about it does make me feel a little bit better about him again, not being a complete injury red
49:00flag as we go into 2026. But again, Ben Johnson picked Coulson Lovelin and Luther Bird. I know GM has the ultimate
49:08final say, you would like to think, but he inherited a doomsday even in the first eight weeks of last season. I don't think I saw personally
49:16the same level of flashes from Adun as I saw with Burden down the stretch. I think Burden's better. I think Coulson
49:21Lovelin could honestly maybe be the number one here. Roma Dunce for me, number three pass game option and a good Bears offense. He's my wide receiver 31.
49:30Gap between him, Burton could be a little bit too wide, but I am confident in going with Burden over Mr. Adun.
49:36Tier six. Now, will we be that surprised about wide receiver two worthy production? Starting off with everyone's seemingly least favorite wide receiver,
49:44Quinton Johnson. Okay. Hey, top 24 wide receiver last year. Quinton Johnston was the most productive Chargers wide receiver last year. Okay. And I know Lab
49:53Manki, he had to deal with the offensive tackle injuries and all this. I think that kind of affected QJ. And QJ
49:59actually literally had groin and hamstring injuries they had to play through after the first half of the season. So I rank Lab Makoni higher. I
50:06think Lab Maki is better. But QJ man, Mike McDaniel literally say reminds you of Julio Jones and Andre Johnson. And I
50:12know Mike McDaniel is kind of the king of pulling out these lofty player comps and everything, but former first round pick. I know, I know
50:21we're going there. It's not usually the best thing to have to lead off a sentence with that. Former first round pick. He's gotten better in each of his
50:26three seasons. And the one thing that I know you are all probably thinking right now, the drops and this guy can't catch
50:31the football. He's had 11 drops on 242 targets over these past three seasons.
50:36All right, since he's been in the league 11 and 242, Jameson Williams has had 16 drops on 235 targets. I don't really
50:43hear that mentioned as a problem. Cooper Cups had 10 and 265. Rasheed Rice 10 and 209. Malik Neighbors 10 and 205. L
50:50Makoni 9 and 218. Roma Dunce 9 and 191.
50:54I'm not saying QJ has the best hands in the world, but there's a lot of guys that have these number of drops. You
50:59know what a high drop total usually tells you? That you're good enough to be getting the ball thrown to you in the
51:03first place. So, yes, it'd be nice if he can clean that up. But QJ, man, could have that yak upside. That was kind of
51:09his calling card coming out of TCU in the first place. That could be tapped into a little bit more. I love this
51:13Chargers offense. I think we're overrating the drop stuff. Quinton Johnston, high-end wide receiver three for me. I don't love the fact that he's
51:21been rising a bunch in drafts. It has been a little bit tougher to click him at the end of round six, early part of
51:26round seven. I will admit that. But still, I want to invest in this Chargers offense. And that does include Quinton Johnson. Wide receiver 33 for me. Marvin
51:34Harrison Jr. and this is another one I've kind of gone back and forth on throughout the off season. There was some bad film last season, particularly
51:40those two Seahawks games. I hate that we get the yearly Jack Marv picture, you know, in July and then we actually watch
51:47him play and he's like the least physical dude in 50-50 contested catch situations that I've seen in quite some time. If his name was Marvin Wilson,
51:55would we be ranking this high? Probably not. But man, it's not like he did nothing at Ohio State. He still have one
52:02of the best wide receiver careers that we've seen at Ohio State. All right, Brian Hartline, who we love and respect and who said JSM was like one of the
52:10best wide receivers he's coached, he's got Marv up there, too. All right, and if we're going to go back last year and
52:15say, "How could you not believe JSM was going to turn around when Hart Line, you know, was saying this about him?" Well,
52:19isn't that kind of a similar point for Marvin Harrison Jr. as well? I don't want to rule out the 23-year-old ultra
52:26talented, yes, son of Marvin Harrison Jr. and I know Jerry Rice's kid hasn't done so it's not like it's always there. But Marv didn't get to benefit
52:35from the same offensive situation that Michael Wilson did at the end of last season when all the other wide receivers were out and it was Brassette actually
52:41giving them catchable balls time and time again. He wasn't out there. When he was out there and it was Michael Wilson
52:47versus Marvin Harrison Jr., guys, it really wasn't close. Shout out to my friend Jared Small over at Draft Sharks.
52:52would love to get him on one of these shows here soon. Michael Wilson yards per out run in eight games with Marv.
52:58Dead last in the yards per run among 76 qualifiers. He was 12th in his other nine games without the artist formerly
53:05know Mazabati Marv involved in the picture. So again, wide receiver 33. I'm not exactly saying he's going to be this year's JS or anything like that. My
53:13biggest issue for Marv, if we knew we were getting 17 games, this is all honestly similar to Garrett Wilson as well. If we knew we were getting 17
53:19games of Jacobe Brassette, of Gino Smith, I'd be way more confident in shooting Marvin Garrett Wilson up the ranks. But we can't be confident in that
53:27because we know the Cardinals and Jets are going to suck. And when teams suck, they make a quarterback change at some
53:31point. So when the Cardinals are 1 and 10, the Jets are two and 11, guess what?
53:35We're going to be trying to win fantasy championships and we're probably going to have to watch Carson Beck and Kate Clubnick be throwing these guys the
53:40football. So I'm not giving up on Marv.
53:42I think he is a great Bo Dynasty candidate. Big big moral of the story there. Wide receiver 34, Brian Thomas Jr., wide receiver 35, Parker
53:51Washington. Little trick of the trade here with us fantasy rankers when we put two guys from the same team right next
53:56to each other. That's us saying that we don't freaking know who's going to be leading the way here. So, I will give
54:00Parker credit. Most applicable stretch assuming Travis Hunter is most going to be playing defense. Last five games with BTJ Meyers and Washington all healthy.
54:0927% targets here for Parker Washington.
54:1119.1 PPR points per game. He's been the latest kind of like Miles Austin, Rashid Shahed, returner, tor turned wide receiver who's just electric with the
54:19ball in his hands. He's built like a running back. I mean, Parker Washington, very, very good player. He's got some great reps on film, too, against some of
54:25the league's best corners. So, a lot of respect for Parker. I just think, man, BTJ got the yips going on last year. I
54:32just don't want to dismiss a dude who just had one of the best rookie seasons we've seen. A lot of it in the second
54:38half on a bad team with M. Jones on the football. But man, the drops were rough.
54:44Uncertainty in the pecking order. New good offense. So, I'm not, you know, necessarily holding. Not saying Liam Con was a bad thing for BTJ last year, but
54:52man, that BTJ 2024 was special. I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt ahead of next season. And I do think when you
55:01look at these receivers, the BTJ and maybe he is gonna be the sacrificial X, which is not going to help. All right,
55:06we don't want those empty calorie routes. who want guys going now and getting targets. But Parker Washington, Jacobe Myers, and Travis Hunter, if they
55:12are going to have Hunter as like a 60 65% route guy, which is reasonable.
55:16That's what he was doing last year. I can see BTJ leading this offense in routes. All right, not saying that's going to lead to most targets, but I
55:23think the skill sets of Washington, Myers, and Hunter overlap far more than BTJ. That's why I give BTJ a slight edge. Wide receiver 36 for me, DK Metaf.
55:33He was a wide receiver 20 in PPR points per game last year despite not getting triple digit targets. Could Michael Pitman be a better fit with old man
55:39Aaron Rogers? Yes, I think that's possible. But we haven't seen Michael Pitman take a 15 yard slant 85 yards to the house like DK Metaf. I know this
55:48dude has never lived up to the wide receiver one heights that we pretty much only saw in his second season in the
55:53league, but this is kind of the first time we've gotten a chance to draft Mechaf at more of that wide receiver
55:58three price tag he's mostly been. I am okay with taking that chance. Wide receiver 37 Xavier Worthy a little bit high here again the Chiefs in their
56:07friendly fire man remember it was Mahomes who originally tore Rashi Rice's ACL on that like interception return and then last year third play of the
56:14freaking season Travis Swift Kelce actually comes out and just dislocates Worthy's shoulder. So Andy Reid himself has said this all season that the Chiefs
56:21didn't want to put certain plays on Worthy's plate even after he returned.
56:25OTAA MVP Xavier Worthy guys get excited.
56:29He needs to be better, especially on the deep ball, running out of bounds and stuff. But man, again, if I'm kind of
56:34fading to receive Rice, I should probably be in on someone else in this Chief's offense. I am on am on Xavier
56:38Worley. We can get Patrick Mahomes is number two pass game option in all likelihood at a wide receiver for price tag. Not trying to miss the forest for
56:45the trees with that one. Wide receiver 38 for me, Chris Goblin. Again, could be too wide between him and IA. He is 30
56:52years old though. Just looked like a shove himself last season. If he gets back to 2024 though, I mean, wide receiver too behind only Jamar Chase in
56:59those first seven weeks before that devastating injury. Chris Godwin at cost. Very, very reasonable pick. Wide receiver 39, Courtland Sutton, the most
57:06Eat Your Vegetables wide receiver ever.
57:08But guys, I swear I'll be drafting and my ranks say like Courtland Sutton's the next guy that you got to take here, Ian.
57:15I need a wide receiver. I just changed my ranks. I move Sutton down in those.
57:18So maybe I shouldn't. He's been the wide receiver 21 over these past two seasons.
57:22All the things I said about Bow Knicks and Shawn Payeyton being good for Jaylen Waddle, they also apply to Sutton, but
57:27he is gonna be 31 in October. And I just really do see this offense much much more featuring and flowing through
57:33Jaylen Wadd. So Sutton hasn't had pretty much any target competition here over these past couple years. I think he's a very good number two receiver. If you
57:40are in a situation where you use like maybe your first two picks on running backs, you got a Coulson Lovelin round
57:46three or four. You took him early round quarterback. I do think Courtland Sutton has that nicer floor. Again, that's kind of the thesis of that eat your vegetable
57:52sort of wide receiver. Someone who, no, you're not going to, you know, call your mom and be like, "Oh my god, I just got
57:57Courtland Sutton round eight. Can you believe it?" You're never going to be hyped about it. But at the same time, we
58:02need consistent points. We need a floor.
58:04Courtland Sutton can't give us that.
58:06Next three guys, slot mavens rounding out this tier. Wide receiver 40 Josh Downs, wide receiver 41, Jaden Reed, and wide receiver 42, Mai Lemon. I love Mai
58:14Lemon, man. Blinkoff award winner. I just worry about in this offense there being enough room for more than one player beyond Devonte Smith. It could be
58:22a situation too where Lemon I think he can work on the outside just fine. Look at some of the stuff he did just
58:27downfield I would say at USC. I mean he had like over 20 catches on passes thrown 20 plus yards downfield. Wasn't
58:33like he was, you know, sticking to the line of scrimmage or anything like that.
58:36Did play more outside in 2025 compared to 2024 as well. I'm just a little worried in year one that we see him
58:43close to that 60 65% route rate. not getting the outside snaps or kind of easing them into things and it just
58:48being more of a run first offense.
58:49Overall, that only flows through Devonte Smith, but I'm worried about it, man.
58:53Again, Mai Lemon and uh Jameson Williams, those are the two guys we talked about where I haven't been drafting. I have my reasons, but again,
58:59it does scare me because I do believe in the talent profiles. Downs and Reed I have been more willing to sprinkle in.
59:04Down just scares me, man. He's so good.
59:07Like Fantasy Points, ESPN open rating, all these websites that kind of do a good job of quantifying separation. They say this dude is again twitchy as hell.
59:15Gets open out well. We've heard the Colts say they're gonna use him more on the outside. I'm just fading the idea
59:21right now that the Colts are actually gonna enter week one with Josh DS and Alec Pierce as their top two wide
59:26receivers and that's it. Nick Westbrook Aini Ashton Doulan Stefon Diggs is out there. He's got that No, I'm sorry.
59:32Stefon Digs is out there. He could go to Indie. Who knows? Keenan Allen though, he's got that former relationship with Shane Stiken. Obviously, Philip Rivers
59:39came back for a similar reason. I think Keenan to Indie would make a ton of sense. that would be devastating for
59:43Josh Downs. Maybe with someone like DVO Samuel who wouldn't help as well. So, if we get closer to week one and nothing
59:49happens, those guys sign elsewhere. I could see myself, you know, being more willing to draft Josh Downs. I think it's a matter of when, not if they
59:55actually add someone else to this equation. Jaden Reed for me, wide receiver 41. I'd love to see him get more snaps on the outside and he is such
60:01a good football player, guys. If he can just get some goodwill from the injury gods, good things will happen with Jaden
60:06Reed. But again, we keep hoping this is going to happen. What's the most realistic scenario when they're going 12 personnel, which they like to do a good
60:13bit? It's going to be Christian Watson and Matthew Golden on the outside. All right, so Jaden Reed still very capable of again, I think, returning upside wide
60:20receiver three numbers even without the 90% route rate and everything, but I am again I'm not trying to pick who I think who I
60:28want to get it. I I'm trying to pick what's realistically going to happen. I think Reed is going to be unfortunately
60:32the odd man out in a lot of these formations for the Green Bay Packers. So yeah, moving on. Tier number seven,
60:38keeping a candle lit, but tough to be again too enthused about things going on. Wide receiver 43, Jordan Addison, the wide receiver 30 and wide receiver
60:4523 in PPR points per game. First two seasons, this dude's double moves are up there with anyone. Still only 24 years
60:52young, I believe. He's one of these guys, man, where that age just kind of continues to catch you by surprise year
60:57after year. Yeah, turned 24 in January, so not even one of these, you know, in August he's going to be turning 25 sort
61:03of situation. So I do think again it's kind of a boomer bust wide receiver for price closer to his ceiling though. If
61:09we do see KC get Kyler to be kind of the next Baker Sam Darnold reclamation project. We are going to be loving
61:15Addison. He is pretty much priced like he would be if we just thought we still had JJ McCarthy under center. Wide
61:21receiver 44 Ricky Parasol. Another guy where I just I love drafting both these dudes. I just think they're priced far closer to their floor. If we see Kyler
61:29Murray look really good in week one.
61:30Addison's going to be rising up the ranks in a hurry. And god forbid one of KD, McCaffrey, Evans, all these old
61:37dudes on San Fran. If one of them gets hurt, we're going to be loving Ricky Parisol as well. Again, great great
61:42route runner. He was looking like he was on the verge of breaking out in a major way at the beginning of last year.
61:48Injury gods aren't too big of fans of Ricky there as well. Do have to consider that when looking at these guys. So
61:52again, Ricky Parasol, someone for me where love drafting him at this cost because I think we rank him probably in about wide receiver 44 where I have him.
61:59I think that's where we have him in week one. something happens to Mike Evans, KD McAffrey. I don't want to say when, not
62:05if, but they are old, have been pretty injuryprone. Something to keep an eye on. Wide receiver 45, Michael Pitman.
62:12Last four years, five years of his career, guys. Wide receiver 24, wide receiver 22, wide receiver 14, wide receiver 45 when he pulled a Mike Tyson
62:20and played through a freaking broken back, and then wide receiver 27 last year, but he was much better before he had a literal grandpa th. So again,
62:27could see a situation where Rogers actually kind of prefers more of the underneath intermediate style that Pitman brings to the table relative to
62:33someone like me. But overall overall talent profile, which is at wide receiver, something I'm more willing to lean on. I do have META over Pitman
62:40here. Wide receiver 46, Jacobe Myers got that $60 million extension. It would be the most Jacobe Meyers thing ever when we're all arguing about Parker
62:49Washington versus BTJ. Oh, how involved is Travis Hunter going to be? And then Jacobe just ends up leading the Jaguars in fantasy points and targets out there.
62:56So, not impossible. I just really struggle to like see a scenario where sitting here in December going, man, why didn't I just draft Kobe Myers? But now
63:04that I said that, maybe that will wind up being the case. Kind of again more in that Courtland Sutton like eat your
63:09vegetable sort of option though. So, if you are again, you only got two wide receivers through the first six or seven
63:13rounds. Wouldn't advise doing that, but that's kind of why I think Sutton and Myers make more sense. a guy I'm a lot
63:19lower on. Alec Pierce, guys, incredibly efficient these last two seasons. Number one in the NFL in yards for target. All right. All that though, wide receiver 49
63:28204 and wide receiver 24 last year. And he got a lot of help from booming in that San Francisco game. I'm not trying
63:34to do the take away his good games. He suck thing, but just bear with me here.
63:38Pierce was randomly the only guy in the Colts offense who averaged more fantasy points with Philip Rivers than without.
63:43He got like the two post touchdowns against the 49ers when I think they were like Rivers can't throw the ball downfield. Well, he did twice and he got
63:50him there. And then week 18 against the Texans, Riley Leonard was airing this ball out. Texans took a lot of their
63:56starters out. Pierce took advantage of it. So paid man and maybe he can open things up, but more and more just when
64:03these teams like, "Oh yeah, we're going to use this guy differently now because we paid him money." I feel like they
64:08kind of already would have used him that way if he was super capable of doing so in the first place. The biggest thing
64:13though, I don't love the fact this dude had to go under the freaking knife and get that ankle surgery in April. And oh
64:18yeah, his quarterback's come back from a torn right Achilles. Not a doctor, contrary to popular belief, but that right Achilles, it's your plant leg. I
64:25think Daniel Jones's deep ball could be impacted. And I think Alec Pierce's speed could be impacted, not the combo.
64:30I'm happy to let someone else draft this dude. And also, again, he's been this boomer sort of guy that we already have
64:36enough trouble feeling good about starting in the first place. I think Tyler Warren and Josh DS are leading us offensive targets and that's before
64:42again the other point about Keenan Allen or Stefon Digs or Debo Samuel very much being Candace to join the party as well.
64:48Wide receiver 48 for me Michael Wilson.
64:51So I mentioned this in the intro guys taking over an hour to get there. I got a lot of things to say. You know, it's a
64:55fun time. But I wanted to look at and see if all second half booms are created equal because we've had the BTJs and the
65:01Michael Wilson's do it on a teams that, yeah, were kind of dead in the water, but we've also had guys over the years,
65:06you know, do it on really good teams.
65:08You know, Puka Nakua in 2024, he'd already kind of broken out. But AJ Brown 2019, you know, Tyreek Hill 2016, like
65:15to me, someone balling out down the stretch after a quiet first half on a team that's actively winning games and making
65:22the playoffs, that just seemed like it would mean more than a team that's again three and 13. Ah, screw it. Let's give
65:27Michael Wilson another 20 targets. I went ahead and looked and sure enough there have been 21 situations where we've had a wide receiver in the last 10
65:34years average eight plus additional PPR points per game the second half of the season compared to the first half of the
65:40season. Almost every single one on a bad team whose season was over wound up just not really being anything the rest of
65:48the way. All right, Michael Wilson again huge difference. 5.5 PPR points per game weeks one through nine last year 19.7 in
65:54the second half. Here are the guys though in that 21 sample that were on a bad team or their season was pretty much
66:00over over the second half of the year.
66:03Michael Wilson, Devon Vele last season 2024 Jerry Judy with Jameus Winston Marquez Bald Scantling with the Bills and Saints in 2024 2024 Adam Thielen
66:13with the Panthers. Amra St. Brown with the Lions in 2021. That's our one.
66:17That's the one hit. Elijah Moore with the Jets. Dozens of us still believe Marvin Jones with the Lions. Dante Pettis with the 49ers. Marvin was good.
66:25Had had a great career, but this was like 2020. He moved on the Jaguars. He wasn't able to get things going again.
66:30It's not great, guys. Jamar, here's some here's the rest of examples, though.
66:35Guys who were either on teams that made the playoffs or like they were eight and nine. They made good things happen.
66:39Jamar Chase, Christian Watson, Brashad Perryman. That one didn't exactly work out. Keenan Allen, Marvin Mims, that one didn't really work out. Puka Nakua,
66:47Jaylen McMillan, AJ Brown, Keelen Cole, what a name. Bobby Trees, Malcolm Mitchell, freaking injury gods, man. and Tyreek Hill back in 2016. So much much
66:56much higher hit rate on the good teams that made the playoffs or at least competitive than the ones on bad teams.
67:01Mentioned some of the really damning splits that Wilson had more so with Marvin Harrison Jr. I will say like going back and watching the film he was
67:08making some sick plays. There was like that 49ers game where all right a lot of that was garbage time induced. And I did
67:13find this cool stat 57 PPR points last season for Wilson when trailing by three plus scores in the second half. highest
67:21mark of any receiver over the past five seasons. So again, a lot was garbage time production, but I test it told me
67:27Michael was making some plays, making some good use out of his opportunities, but feels like a sucker's bet for me.
67:32Wide receiver 48, wide receiver 49 for me. Matthew Golden, I'm tired of the narrative that Matthew Golden didn't have opportunities last
67:42year. Christian Watch was out for the first half of the year. Jaden Reed broke his collar bone. What? Week two, week
67:46three in that Commander game. Romeo Dolls was there. Okay, he had one guy.
67:50That's pretty much it. Even Tucker Craft got knocked out halfway through the season. So, Golden was healthy. There were some plays that Browns game where,
67:57man, it looked like he was about to go 90 yards, but he just barely, you know, got led out of bounds. Like, he got
68:01missed once or twice, but here's the list of round one wide receivers who are healthy enough to play eight plus games
68:07as a rookie, failed to reach 500 receiving yards since 2010. Xavier Legette, Devonte Parker, Cordderero Patterson, my guy, Henry Rugs, Trayon
68:15Burks, Quinton Johnson, Cadarius Tony, Tavon Austin, Corey Coleman, Ricky Parisol, Jaylen Reagger, Cory Davis, Matthew Golden, Nelson Agalore, Demarius Thomas, there we go, Hall of Famer, RIP,
68:25Jonathan Baldwin, Philip Dorset, Mike Williams, Laquan Treb, and there's another guy. Uh, who was it? He changed tight end. Uh, the big freaking fat ass. Oh my god,
68:37Kelvin Benjamin. He never lands in these studies because he changed positions.
68:41But yeah, not good. Not good, guys. So, yeah, the playoff game was cool. That screen touchdown were like three Bears missed him. I'm not saying Golden can't
68:48be better than last year, but man, all those injuries, we couldn't get 400 yards. Matthew Golden. Again, I did under 500 yards. It wasn't even close to
68:57that. So, Matthew Golden, he's at the end of this tier for me. Guys get better. Green Bay has been one of these
69:03organizations where we've seen them kind of not give the rookie wide receivers red shirt years, but they we have had some examples of the guys not doing too
69:09much and then all of a sudden having nice careers. So that is going for him.
69:13But yeah, I'm not going on my way for Matthew Golden here in 2026. Last guy here, Juan Delale Robinson. 140 targets
69:19in backto-back seasons following Brian Dable.
69:22His film didn't make me want to claw my eyes out last year the same way it did in 2024, but man, so many times I was
69:28just like, what a freaking play, Jackson Dart. as opposed to like oh Juan Dale Robinson like what a complete savage out
69:34here. So I should give some credit to the guy for getting open on the scramble drill and make himself available and all
69:38that but you know well another eat your vegetable sort of wide receivers here in terms of Juan Dale Robinson. I'm going
69:45to go through the rest of this a little bit faster guys but appreciate you hanging out with me as always. Tier
69:49eight favorite late round sleepers wide receiver 51. I got Casey Conception followed by Jaden Higgins, Rashid Shahed, Travis Hunter, Omar Cooper,
69:57Jerry Judy, Romeo Dobs, Jaylen Coker, Khalil Shakur. All right, these are kind of the guys where once I get past the
70:04top 50 wide receivers, I'm going to go ahead and throw some darts at them. But I don't want to be doing this a ton,
70:09especially in reddraft land because this was my big question for here. Like, how often do we actually see late round wide
70:15receivers put up reasonable numbers in fantasy land? It's not that great. Last nine years, because ESPN goes back to 2017. It annoys me, too. It'll be in the
70:25past. It'll be in the rearview mirror next year. I swear to God, guys. But last nine years, only 24 wide receivers
70:31drafted outside the top 50 in ESPN ADP.
70:34Actually went on to return top 24 numbers. And when you look at these guys, the average age and the median age
70:39was 24 years old. And their average year in the NFL was three. We've only seen 2019 John Brown in year six and 2020
70:47Antonio Brown for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers year 11 actually be in beyond year five ADP outside the top 50 and go
70:55ahead and break into the top 24. So I will admit as someone who's drafted Jerry Judy a lot a lot a lot this summer
71:01it does scare me to see that stat going on there. Just trade him to the commanders at a certain point. Please
71:06get this man out of Cleveland.
71:09It does scare me, but we do need to keep this in mind. If you are throwing a late round dart at guys, let's stick in the
71:15young guns. Let's stick to the guys who again have this talent that maybe they haven't exactly proven it yet at the
71:20NFL, but they haven't had a ton of chances to actually do so. All right. If a guy tells us he's a scrub for five,
71:25six years, it's probably a good chance that he is actually a scrub. So, I will say in this tier, similar to Mai Lemon,
71:32at a certain point, just take the round one wide receiver, especially where it's not costing you all that expensive a pick. Casey Conception, awesome player.
71:39I do think he can be, you know, Tom Monkins, News Flowers, really good running back film, particularly at North Carolina State. So, Dylan Samson,
71:46Quentin Judens, obviously like they're going to be the lead guys there, but there is a world where KC gets, you know, 100 targets, but also another 20
71:52or so carries that can help again over the course of a 17 game season. So, I would prioritize Casey Conception.
71:59Travis Hunter is someone I keep drafting a lot because he was the number two overall freaking pick last year. What if
72:05we're a little bit wrong about the route rate? You don't think the Jaguars want to prove to everyone that they didn't
72:11make a bad decision by trading up for this dude? I think the whole thing about him being a full-time corner and not
72:16playing wide receiver has been extremely overrated. I do think based on their depth chart on defense and offense, it makes more sense for him to perhaps play
72:24more on defense than offense. But expecting the offensive rat rates to go down to 20% or something like that, I don't think so. And he's also just if
72:33there was going to be a handcuffed wide receiver or any of BTJ, Parker Washington, Jakob Myers go down. That's going to be huge news for Travis Hunter,
72:39guys. He's going to be flying up the ranks in a hurry. So, a lot of these dudes that again we've been kind of
72:44talking about for the last 20 minutes, whatever. Their wide receiver fours, their wide receiver fives that are going to be priced like that kind of
72:50throughout the year, Travis Hunter is an injury to anyone else in this room away from immediately skyrocketing up the ranks and being someone that worst case,
72:56even if you don't believe in the guy, God, would you be able to trade him for a pretty penny the second that happens.
73:01So, look, I haven't even mentioned the freaking I because I wasn't even in on Travis Hunter last year. I was had these
73:06concerns. He was going like top 30 wide receiver in a lot of these drafts. I really wasn't the biggest Travis Hunter
73:12guy because I just didn't know how much he was going to be playing. I'm not going to tell you that down 28 points
73:17against the Rams in freaking London or wherever that game was. Oh my god, 100 yards and a touchdown. The breakout was
73:22coming. I don't even know if that's the case, but the rest of the season, man, seeing this dude, he had one of the
73:27highest tackles avoided per touch rate in the league. He is absolutely electric with the football in his hands. Some of those contested catches, man. Going up
73:34over two Chiefs defenders. Like he needs to work on the polish, I would say, because yeah, no surprise the dude's trying to play two positions at
73:41professional level. Talent speaks for itself. And man, seeing this dude, I was in an FFPC room. EMTT freaking Johnson.
73:49Sorry, throw it straight at EMTT Johnson, but EMTT Johnson, the Chiefs probable RB3 went ahead of Travis Hunter. Couldn't be me, man. Best wide
73:58receiver handcuff. There is such a thing in fantasy football. Travis Hunter, I love stashing this dude on the end of my
74:03bench. I think he could soar so much higher under a litany of scenarios. Omar Cooper, Santas Casey, Conception. It's a first round pick. Yeah, we don't like
74:12the offenses, but at a certain point, they're a first round pick for a reason.
74:15They're probably going to be getting a lot of targets. Let's not overthink it.
74:18Mentioned Judy. I mean, so I will, if you guys haven't heard the Judy ramble, I'm not going to go too long on it. But
74:23here's my thing with Jerry Judy. It's kind of a similar thing with Alvin Chimera, right? Jerry Judy, he's one of only 11 wide receivers to gain at least
74:301,200 yards in a season since 2024. Nine of those wide receivers go inside the position's top 15 players. Brian Thomas Jr. goes like wide receiver 3132. Jerry
74:40Judy goes like wide receiver 74. If he gets traded, great. He's going to move up a ton. What if he's just a wide
74:48receiver one? The slightly better Browns offense. He's definitely going to be beating that price tag. So, a little bit tougher to get behind in reddraft. More
74:54of a best ball pick for me just at that super cheap cost. But again, Jerry Judy, Travis Hunter, Casey Conception, Omar
75:01Cooper. Those will be the guys from the franch I'm especially excited about.
75:06Last tier, tier nine. They won't work out, but you can imagine what it'd be like if they did. Wide receiver 60,
75:11Denzel Boston, then I got Antonio Williams, Ryan Florenoy, Jaylen McMillan, Stefon Diggs, who honestly probably could be a little bit higher if
75:18and when he signs somewhere. I do think he'll be more in that wide receiver five range. So, I I would understand, you
75:24know, kind of the push back on that one.
75:25Wide receiver 65, Trey Tucker. Wide receiver 66, Jaylen Naylor. Naylor was randomly like always on the other end of JJ McCarthy's few good throws. I know
75:34there's some separation metrics that pay him favorably. He did get a nice contract. I just don't want to expect much more than Bowowers and Jenty out of
75:41this offense, but he is so cheap. Tucker I'm giving the slight edge, but man, one of only like three guys to have a
75:4640point PPR game last year. Every single one of those touchdowns, guys, against the Commanders blown coverage induced.
75:53Again, cheap enough. maybe figure something out, but I think it's uh buying Wolf tickets. Shout out to Nick Diaz if you're, you know, drafting Trey
76:00Tucker and expecting a big time year.
76:02Trey Harris, wide receiver, 67. Jawan Jennings after him. Zachariah Branch, wide receiver, 69. Very nice. I do think that again, if you are looking for
76:10someone who could have a chance to move up, this dude could be number two in targets on the Falcons. Okay, probably
76:15going to be London and then Kyle Pittz, but you go back and you do look at Kevin some chemist fans better offenses. a lot
76:23of underneath stuff from one Jarvis Landry who's way bigger and more physical than Zachariah, but like that's a sort of screen low A dot kind of
76:29gadgetyesque. Not not not take too much away from Jarvis Landry, but it was a lot of design short area stuff. Maybe
76:35Zachariah Branch is that new guy. Former number one overall wide receiver in his 2023 class. God, I remember those first couple games at USC. These return
76:43touchdowns like the dude there's fast guys and there's fast fast guys. And Zachariah Branch is a fast fast guy. I know his usage at Georgia was wonky.
76:50Right. 82% of his targets last year came on screens and RPOS's. Omar Cooper though was at like 70%. I know he did
76:58more earlier in his career, but I do think sometimes we get a little too obsessed with, oh, he's getting so many
77:04screens he can't do anything else. That matters. But when we're looking at a late round pick, he got day two draft
77:10capital. He was obviously a very lauded recruit for a reason. And just that Georgia offense, guys, ever since they lost Makoni and Bowers and like
77:17everything they're trying to do with uh Gunnar Stockton, is that the dude's name? That quarter, I feel like the quarterback is more limited than
77:23anything and that's caused everything to be weird. So, just with Zachariah Branch is honestly similar to Jerry Bernard, who I did not include in this because I
77:29just think I don't want to be dealing with number three wide receiver in this Aaron Rogers offense. But sometimes Zachariah Branch, he got the Georgia
77:38Bulldogs passing game to flow through him. Same thing with Jerry Manard in Alabama. Not a bad thing to have for a
77:43late round pick. Wide receiver 70.
77:45Rashad Baitman is still number two in Baltimore. As much as everyone wants these rookies to be a thing, more of a
77:50best ball pick. Taquan Thornton, wide receiver 71 for me. Actually average more yards per catch than Alec Pierce. I do wonder though, similar to Indie, it
77:57seems like a matter of when, not if. The Chiefs out of their wide receiver room, so wouldn't be getting too carried away
78:01there. Deson Stribbling wide receiver 72. Calvin Ridley wide receiver 73. Ad Mitchell dozens of us again still believe still only 24. He'll be 24 in
78:11October actually. Great route runner.
78:13Just, you know, kind of needs to catch the football. I do think drops are overrated. My bigger issue for AD Mitchell is like Garrett's clue number
78:19one. We have those concerns about the passing game. You had Omar Cooper and Kenyan Sadi. I just really struggle to see like a boom scenario scenario for AD
78:27Mitchell. So best ball very end wide receiver. I get it. But reddraft, I don't think we have to really worry about it. Then wide receiver 75 Cooper
78:33Cup going to be 33 on June 15th. But one of these guys we look at the projections comes out a lot better than some of our
78:39uh you know ranks actually have them going. So that is going to wrap this one up though guys. So fun going through all
78:44these wide receivers. Going to have some fun guests on this week. So make sure you guys hang around for that best
78:49fantasy football ranker of the freaking generation and Justin Boon coming on the show talking to some college football fans. My guy Eric Fronton as well. So
78:56again plenty more fun guests coming on.
