0:01little bit controversial. Everyone loves
0:03in July to be like, "Oh, the worst pick
0:04in every round." Like we have such a
0:06great track record of trying to predict
0:08this crazy sport, you know, months and
0:09months in advance, but it's our job.
0:11We're trying. I get it. Anyway, I've
0:13just seen a lot of kind of hate, I
0:14guess, for Hampton because of the idea
0:16where it's like, yeah, maybe Keaton
0:17Mitchell who Mike McDaniel put wanted
0:19the posters up in their GM's office for,
0:22and maybe Kamani Vidal, he actually
0:23turns into more of a three-headed thing,
0:24but I don't know, guys. He just
0:27They used the first round pick on
0:28Hampton. He was clearly the lead running
0:30back before he had the unfortunate
0:32fractured ankle. And he looked really
0:33freaking good before that injury as
0:35well. 4.8 yards per carry before that
0:37fractured ankle, just four after. His
0:39yards after contact and tackles avoided
0:41numbers were absolutely elite before the
0:43injury. Again, fell off down the
0:45stretch. Also, in part because of Joe
0:46Alt and the offensive line getting
0:48injured. I just feel like
0:50all the excuses, warranted excuses, that
0:52we have for Justin Herbert and Ladd
0:54McConkey, we kind of only use them for
0:56those guys. And then Quentin Johnston
0:57and Ameerion Hampton get left out to dry
0:59a little bit in these online debates
1:01that maybe I'm paying too close of
1:02attention to. But regardless, Ameerion
1:04Hampton for me is someone that I don't
1:06want to be underweight on throughout
1:08this year. In fact, I would like to
1:09probably start drafting him more because
1:10my biggest, just overall, bet I'm making
1:13is this Chargers offense being awesome.
1:14I believe in Mike McDaniel, Justin
1:16Herbert, a healthy group of on this
1:18offensive line. And hey, some of the
1:19issues people have with the passing game
1:21is the thought process that Mike
1:23McDaniel and Jim Harbaugh might want to
1:24run the ball more. If you're in that
1:26pool, you should definitely be drafting
1:27a lot of Ameerion Hampton.
