The Panthers showed their confidence in Coker by signing him to a three-year extension and not adding another notable wide receiver this offseason. A quadriceps injury cost him six games last season, but Coker quickly became one of Bryce Young's trusted targets. From Week 8 through the playoffs, he played 73% of the snaps and handled a 17.8% target share. Coker also flashed his upside in the wild-card round with nine receptions for 134 yards and a touchdown. He's a nice value late in the proceedings.

Coker, who finished last season strong and earned a three-year contract, was more productive than his universally rostered teammate Tetairoa McMillan in Week 1, catching eight of nine targets for 138 yards and two touchdowns versus McMillan's five catches for 75 yards. The source notes this does not guarantee Coker will outscore McMillan going forward, but it does not rule it out either. The Panthers travel to Atlanta in Week 2, where they should be able to throw the football.
