STACKED’s take
Metcalf has 400+ unrealized air yards; Saints' 31st-ranked defense offers breakout spot.
Ranked WR24 vs. NO in Paris; returned two top-16 finishes in last three weeks; teammate Germie Bernard peeled off WR21 and WR3 finishes in first two games as true piece of offense with Michael Pittman and Roman Wilson out; Steelers' new look WR duo combined for 40 targets in these two games; both among league's bottom-5 in average depth of route; Metcalf gets slight lean thanks to plenty of downfield opportunities in addition to quick-hitters; one of just four WRs with north of 400 unrealized air yards; ample opportunity but limited production (WR33 in PPR points per game) due to tough matchups to start season; both Metcalf and Bernard set up brilliantly against Saints' 31st-ranked scoring defense.
