McCarthy gets 11-game Giants audition after gaining experience in 10 Vikings starts

McCarthy will make his first start for the Giants in Sunday's game against the Texans and could have an 11-game run to prove himself; he gained knowledge about NFL football through 10 starts with the Vikings and feels more prepared to handle the role despite only being with the Giants for a few weeks. McCarthy stated that 'experience does wonders' and that he'll react better and make more well-rounded decisions in situations he previously encountered, citing confidence from being around great talent and coaches.
