it was pretty exciting for Watson and Golden... I think that Golden is one of the big winners of the week.

Watson confirms every-down role; bullish Week 1 despite fewer targets than Golden.

Watson had a bullish Week 1 performance against Minnesota, though he received fewer targets than Matthew Golden. He is confirmed as an every-down receiver alongside Golden in the Packers' passing game. The Packers were forced to throw heavily due to the Vikings' weak defense, and Watson should benefit from increased pass attempts.
