QB22. Not good for him. Kyler Murray against the Bills now in Monday Night Football... Kyler is barely playing better than the JJ McCarthy we saw last year... Kyler is so easily playing the worst football of his career right now.

Kyler Murray playing worst football of career; QB22 despite soft matchup
QB22 ranking against the Bills on Monday Night Football despite a favorable matchup (Bills ranked 29th in EPA per dropback). Ian Hartitz emphasizes Murray is playing the worst football of his career by any metric—EPA per dropback, success rate, pass rating—and is barely outperforming JJ McCarthy's 2023 Minnesota season (Murray ranks 59th in EPA per dropback this season vs. McCarthy's 61st last year). The performance is worse than his Arizona tenure, and Hartitz questions Kevin O'Connell's coaching fit, suggesting O'Connell may be a 'Kurt Cousins merchant' whose success came from garbage time and Justin Jefferson's individual performance.
