STACKED’s take

Positive signalRole

More effective runner than Hall; likely to control goal-line and early-down work.

More effective runner than Breece Hall to start the season; likely to handle goal-line carries and early-down work if split remains unclear. Could squeeze Hall's usage if Hall is relegated to passing downs only, making Allen the primary early-down back in the Jets backfield.
