Matt Harmon ranks Jaylen Waddle as WR12 and calls him the most mispriced player in fantasy right now at the wide receiver position. Waddle is a really good player who can beat press man coverage, win against zone, excel on downfield breaking routes, and also win in the quick game—a rare skill set that people misunderstand about him. Waddle's move to Denver represents a dramatically improved offensive environment (Broncos ranked much higher than Miami's 32nd in plays run) combined with a role change that will see him move off-ball for the first time in his career. Harmon projects Waddle to take career-high snaps off-ball, similar to Brandon Cooks' 2016 Saints role, with Bo Nix as a quarterback upgrade. The deployment shift from Miami's Tyreek Hill-centric scheme to Denver's structure with Courtland Sutton as the X receiver creates what Harmon calls "layup targets" for Waddle.
