Eli Stowers, of course, is going to have impediments in his way when you're talking about fantasy football success. He's a second-round pick. Um and you have Dallas Goedert clearly ahead of him... if anything happens in terms of an injury with Dallas Goedert, Eli Stowers becomes like an instant tight end one in fantasy football... Eli Stowers is a really fun best ball pick right now, but the has some contingent upside in redraft.
STACKEDβs take
Second-round TE with injury upside behind Goedert; TE29 ADP with breakout comps.
JJ Zachariason highlights Eli Stowers as a fun best ball pick with contingent upside in redraft; ADP is TE29 on Underdog with similar pricing on DraftKings and FFPC. As a second-round pick, Stowers has injury-upside breakout potential behind Dallas Goedert; his situation mirrors Trey McBride's 2023 breakout (behind Zach Ertz) and Albert Okwuegbunam's 2024 emergence (behind David Njoku). If Goedert suffers injury, Stowers becomes an instant TE1 in fantasy football. Even without injury, Stowers has a path to a top-six, top-seven finish on a per-game basis in the second half of the season. The AJ Brown trade (expected around June 1) could open up more two-TE sets in the Eagles offense, creating additional opportunity for Stowers.
