Antonio Williams

PositiveSleeper3:18

Williams is available in at least 70% of CBS Sports leagues and is one of Dave Richard's three favorite pickups for week eight. He plays for the Commanders, a team that has been discussed extensively on the show this week as a source of waiver wire value.

Insight page
PositiveRole5:18

With Terry McLaurin out for the year in Washington, Antonio Williams has an opportunity to get a better target share than Jalen Noel has received; Dave Richard recommends picking him up on Saturday before Week 7 as a waiver wire target.

Insight page
PositiveSleeper7:55

Dave Richard identifies Antonio Williams as a top week seven waiver wire target for desperate fantasy managers seeking immediate lineup help.

Insight page

Baker Mayfield

PositiveValue10:56

Mayfield's schedule is pretty favorable going forward, and he's at 53% rostered, with people starting to pick him up. He might be playing in the upcoming week.

Insight page

Caleb Douglas

NegativeSleeper5:22

Trending toward playing after Miami's bye; had a decent role in week one for the Dolphins. Dave Richard suggests stashing him into week seven as a low-risk option.

Insight page
PositiveSleeper11:40

Caleb Douglas is trending toward playing for Miami after the Dolphins' bye week. Dave Richard notes he had a pretty decent role in week one and suggests monitoring what the Dolphins' offense looks like upon return from bye.

Insight page

Christian Kirk

NegativeSleeper8:30

Dave Richard recommends Christian Kirk as a decent stash option with potential to help in week seven, though notes him as less of a long-term stash compared to Casey Concepcion.

Insight page

Colby Parkinson

PositiveSleeper13:34

Parkinson is a Rams tight end who can be considered as a stash option for week seven.

Insight page

Dylan Sampson

PositiveRole8:29

Dylan Sampson is mentioned as a Cardinals running back option on the waiver wire list for Week 7, with opportunity created by Jeremiah Love's unavailability.

Insight page

Fernando Mendoza

NegativeRole10:56

Mendoza will have an opportunity to play at some point for the Raiders; the more they lose, the more likely he will step in as Las Vegas's main quarterback.

Insight page

Geno Smith

PositiveMatchup10:46

Smith faces the Raiders in a revenge game; Las Vegas has allowed 21+ fantasy points to four straight quarterbacks, and Dave Richard suggests they'll likely make it five with Matthew Stafford coming up next.

Insight page

Jacoby Brissett

PositiveMatchup10:03

While not ideal for week seven, Brissett faces the Dallas Cowboys in week eight, a defense that has allowed 22+ fantasy points to three of their past four quarterbacks. Brissett is rostered in only about 50% of CBS Sports leagues, making him a potential streaming option.

Insight page

Jeremiyah Love

NegativeInjury8:29

Matt Zenit reported that Jeremiah Love will not play in Week 7, making him unavailable for immediate fantasy use despite being on the Cardinals.

Insight page

Jonah Coleman

PositiveRole8:39

Jonah Coleman was on Jamie's waiver list on Tuesday and still meets the threshold for Week 7 pickup; he can be stashed on IR until the Broncos remove him, potentially allowing him to sneak through the week if kept on IR.

Insight page

Kendre Miller

PositiveRole8:25

Kendra Miller is mentioned as a running back who would make the cut for Week 7 waiver wire pickups, though limited context is provided on his specific role or opportunity.

Insight page

Kendrick Bourne

PositiveMatchup6:43

Kendrick Bourne faces a horrible schedule overall (Denver Week 7, Dallas Week 8, Seattle, Rams, Kansas City after), but he has one great matchup in Dallas in Week 8; he's only 33% rostered, making him a potential value target despite the difficult schedule context.

Insight page
PositiveSleeper7:55

Dave Richard identifies Kendrick Bourne as a top week seven waiver wire target, ranking him second only to Jalen Knoll among week seven desperation pickups for fantasy managers needing immediate lineup help.

Insight page

Kimani Vidal

PositiveSleeper5:20

Available in over 60% of leagues; Dave Richard recommends him as a deep league stash with potential for increased offensive role and passing game work as the offensive line improves.

Insight page
PositiveRole10:02

Kamani Vidal has been the most efficient running back the Chargers have had over their last three games and can handle passing game work; Dave Richard suggests he may get more work coming out of the bye week; he's available in over 60% of leagues and is recommended for deep league formats.

Insight page

Matthew Stafford

PositiveMatchup10:46

Stafford faces the Raiders, a defense that has allowed 21+ fantasy points to four straight quarterbacks, setting up a favorable matchup for streaming purposes.

Insight page

Michael Mayer

PositiveSleeper12:22

Mayer is available in 75% of leagues and is Dave Richard's favorite tight end from the stash group. Despite a tough matchup against the Rams, Mayer gets a lot of targets generally with the Raiders, and the Rams defense is beat up without Miles Garrett and potentially without linebacker Nate Lamb, which could make coverage easier for tight ends in the short area.

Insight page

Sam Darnold

PositiveMatchup10:31

Darnold faces the Bears, who have allowed at least 29 fantasy points to each of their past two quarterbacks, making him an attractive streaming option for week seven or eight.

Insight page

Tank Bigsby

NegativeSleeper6:25

Available in 80% of leagues; IR stash candidate. If Saquon Barkley gets traded, Bigsby would become Philadelphia's main back, though Dave Richard notes uncertain long-term value in the second half of the season. Described as a 'halfway decent running back' if healthy and positioned as the Eagles' future back.

Insight page
PositiveRole10:25

Tank Bigsby is an IR stash candidate available in 80% of leagues; if Saquon Barkley gets traded, Bigsby will eventually become the main back for Philadelphia, making him a speculative long-term hold.

Insight page

Tank Dell

PositiveSleeper9:00

Dave Richard identifies Tank Dell as a decent stash option for fantasy managers seeking week seven help.

Insight page

Tanner McKee

NegativeMatchup10:03

McKee may get a chance to play against the Dallas Cowboys defense, which has been historically bad and allowed 22+ fantasy points to three of the past four quarterbacks. Dave Richard speculates McKee could potentially reach 22 fantasy points given Dallas's defensive struggles.

Insight page

Ted Hurst

PositiveSleeper10:00

Available in 93% of CBS Sports leagues. Dave Richard notes Baker Mayfield has been successfully connecting with Ted Hurst; if Emeko Bukas misses week seven, Hurst will see increased playing time. Favorable matchup against Carolina secondary, which is banged up, creates opportunity for Hurst to accumulate stats.

Insight page

Terrance Ferguson

PositiveSleeper11:28

Ferguson makes sense as a stash if you have an IR spot; he will eventually return, likely by week nine, and could slide right in as the number two target getter for the Rams ahead of Conada Mumpfield.

Insight page

Travis Hunter

PositiveSleeper9:00

Dave Richard prefers Travis Hunter over Tyreek Hill as a stash at this point, noting that Hill's off-field issues may have scared teams away despite initial optimism about his return timeline.

Insight page

Tyler Higbee

PositiveSleeper13:34

Higbee is a Rams tight end who can be considered as a stash option for week seven.

Insight page

Tyreek Hill

NegativeSleeper9:00

Dave Richard suggests they may have jumped the gun on Tyreek Hill as a stash. Hill's off-field issues with his ex-wife and court appearance appear to have scared teams away, making him less attractive than Travis Hunter as a stash option.

Insight page

Tyrone Tracy

NegativeRole7:01

Tyrone Tracy Jr. can be used in Week 7 if you're desperate at running back, but Dave Richard did not include him on the primary stash list because unless he has a really good game and becomes the featured back for the Giants, he'll likely return to the waiver wire; he's not recommended for Week 8 when Christian McCaffrey returns.

1:56Toyota, let's go places. Let's beat the waiver wire for week eight when we've got Houston, New Orleans, the Giants, and the 49ers on by.
2:03Right now, I'm Adam Azer with Dave Richard, and let's do it.
2:07All right, Dave, here we go. Fire it up.
2:10What do you think for week eight? Who do you like?
2:13My favorite pickups, there's three, there's not one. Let's start with one that might be able to help you in week seven,
2:19and then you can't use him in week eight.
2:22But maybe he's someone who could be a number three receiver rest of the season.
2:27And it's Jalen Knoll. The world did not pick up enough Jalen Knoll following waivers on Tuesday and Wednesday.
2:32Still out there in just over 60% of CBS sports leagues.
2:36Over his last three games, his route rate has ticked up.
2:39Wish he had a few more targets, but he's literally caught 100% of his targets in his past four games.
2:45He's had at least 11.9 PPR points in each of his past three with a red zone touchdown in each of his last two.
2:52And you think about all the pieces to this Houston offense.
2:55You've got Nico. You've got Marvin Harrison Jr. Tank Dell is coming back.
2:59Here's a guy who's going to play in the slot.
3:02The role is not threatened. And he's someone who should be able to get you in that neighborhood of anywhere from 11
3:09to 20 PPR points like he did last week.
3:11That's the guy you can use in week seven.
3:14The other two are names you've heard us talk about a lot this week.
3:18They're on the commanders. Antonio Williams, Chico Conquo. Both of them out there in at least 70%, 7-0 of CBS sports leagues.
3:25They both have an opportunity to get a better target share than what Jalen Noel has gotten now that Terry McLaurin out for the year in Washington.
3:33You just can't use him this week. You might watch this video on Thursday or Friday.
3:38Saturday's the day. You wake up. You get out of bed.
3:41You run to your computer. You just grab your phone.
3:44You probably sleep right next to your phone anyway.
3:47And go and drop somebody that you're not going to use in week seven and go pick up one of the commanders players, Antonio Williams or Chico Conquo.
3:55And I'll just, I know you're going to get to him later.
3:59I'm sure you are. But in the same range of wide receiver is Kendrick Bourne.
4:03He's in the midst of this horrible schedule. He does get Dallas in week eight.
4:08So Denver this week, Dallas in week eight, Seattle Rams, Kansas City after that.
4:12It's horrible. But there is this one great matchup for Kendrick Bourne is only 33% rostered.
4:16And quite frankly, Dave, I thought you were going to say Tyrone Tracy Jr.
4:21You start talking about guy you can't use in week eight.
4:24You can use him. I don't know if we want to use Tracy this week.
4:28He's another guy. I thought you were going to say Tyrone Tracy Jr.
4:32Is going to be one of your headliners here.
4:35Want to move over to running back? Which running back should we be stashing?
4:39Well, keep in mind that for week eight, there's no Christian McCaffrey and you can't even use Tyrone Tracy.
4:45So if you want to stash Tyrone Tracy for this week, you might do it.
4:49But unless he has a really good game and he's like the featured back for the Giants, you're going to be sending
4:56him right back to the waiver wire. So that's why I didn't have him on there.
5:01But you could use him this week if you're desperate at running back.
5:05Kendra Miller would also make the cut. Don't forget about the Cardinals running backs.
5:09Tyler Algier is on him at night. Our own Matt Zenit said that Jeremiah Love will not play in week number seven.
5:15Dylan Sampson is also on that list. Let's talk about some stash running backs.
5:19Jamie had Jonah Coleman on his waiver list back on Tuesday and he still meets the threshold.
5:25A lot of people didn't take that advice. He's in that same boat of Saturday pickup and you can actually still stash
5:31him on IR until the Broncos take him off of IR, which I imagine they would do at some point on Saturday.
5:38You still might be able to sneak him through the week if you keep him on IR.
5:43But that's an interesting running back stash. We don't know how the running backs will shake out in Cincinnati with Chase Brown and Samajay P.
5:50Ryan P. Ryan's out there in 75 plus percent of CBS leagues.
5:54And then another one. This one won't get a lot of traction.
5:57This is for the deep league guys. Adam, are you a deep league guy?
6:02I'm a deep league guy. Well, then this one's for you.
6:05Kamani Vidal has been the most efficient running back that the Chargers have had over their last three games.
6:11And I wonder if they come out of the buy and give him a little bit more work.
6:16He can also handle passing game work. That offensive line will eventually get better.
6:20If you're in a deep league, Kamani Vidal is out there in over 60 percent of leagues.
6:25I'll give you one more. This is an IR stash.
6:28Tank Bigsby. 80 percent of leagues he's available in.
6:31If Saquon gets traded, Tank Bigsby will eventually be the main back for Philly, which I don't know if that's going to
6:37be great when we're in the second half of the season.
6:41But Bigsby's a halfway decent running back. If he's healthy and he's the future back for the Eagles.
6:46OK, well, stashing him on IR. That's an easy thing to do.
6:50All right. We're going to take a break and give you some more wide receivers, quarterbacks, tight ends, DSTs to stash right
6:56now or maybe even start this week when we come back on FFT Express.
7:00Sometimes I'm so busy. I feel like I don't have time for healthy meals and I eat a lot of unhealthy stuff and I know I'm not alone.
7:09But guess what? There's a solution for us. And it's Factor, a total game changer for me.
7:14Factor makes chef created, dietitian design meals that are ready in just two minutes with absolutely zero prep work or messy cleanup.
7:20And what I love most is their commitment to quality.
7:23With over 175 banned ingredients, every single meal is packed with real food that supports a healthy lifestyle.
7:29Plus, with over 100 weekly menu options, you never get bored.
7:32I love their gnocchi ala vodka, their filet mignon, their smoky gouda chicken, just to name a few.
7:37And again, ready in two minutes. I love Factor and you will too.
7:41Let's eat real. Head to factormeals.com slash FFT50off and use code FFT50off to get 50% off and one free breakfast item per
7:48box for one year while supplies last until October 31st, 2026.
7:51That's code FFT50off at factormeals.com. FFT50off at factormeals.com. See website for more details.
7:55And we are back. All right. So we've given you Antonio Williams.
7:59I brought up Kendrick Bourne. Yeah. Bourne would be the next name after Jalen Knoll.
8:03Jalen Knoll. As far as week seven weeks. I wrote it down on my notes.
8:08Week seven desperados. So you're just you're desperate for someone to go and pick up and put in your lineup for week seven.
8:14Those would be the top two guys. But don't forget about Christian Kirk, Casey Conquo.
8:19Concepcion. They're both decent stashes to Kirk and Concepcion.
8:22Concepcion certainly more long term than Kirk. And they could end up being helpful in week seven.
8:27But I like Tank Dell as a decent stash.
8:29Let me give you one. Let me give you two.
8:32Let me give you three. Three more wide receivers on the stash list.
8:36Emeko Bukas. I think he's in the concussion protocol.
8:39He's got concussion listed next to him on the injury report.
8:42If he misses week seven, and I would assume that would be it.
8:46But if he does, Ted Hurst, 93% available in CBS Sports Leagues.
8:50I saw Baker Mayfield trying to connect and succeeding throwing to Ted Hurst.
8:54And if there's no Abuka, Hurst will see more playing time in the matchup against Carolina this week.
8:59Carolina secondary is all banged up. There will be an opportunity for Ted Hurst to get some numbers.
9:04Don't forget about Kanata Mumfield with the Rams. He's theoretically their number two wide receiver.
9:09I don't know if that means he's going to be their number two target getter.
9:13I don't know if that means he's going to be their number four target getter.
9:18Because of all the tight ends they use and the running backs they have.
9:22But Mumfield is interesting. And it looks like Caleb Douglas is trending toward playing.
9:26And we saw him have a pretty decent role week one for the Dolphins.
9:30Miami's coming out of their bye. Let's see what their offense looks like.
9:34You could do worse than stashing Caleb Douglas into week seven.
9:37Who's a better stash? Travis Hunter or Tyreek Hill?
9:40At this point, I think it's Hunter. We may have jumped the gun on Tyreek Hill.
9:45But the timeline of it made sense. When it seemed like Tyreek Hill was announcing that he was coming back, we were excited.
9:52And then he went to court. And there was that whole thing with his ex-wife.
9:56And I think teams got scared off by that.
9:59So if you had to pick one, I think Travis Hunter would be the one.
10:03All right. How about quarterbacks for maybe week seven, but specifically week eight?
10:07Well, I don't love Jacoby Brissett for week seven, but who does Jacoby Brissett play in week number eight?
10:13Dallas Cowboys. 22 or more fantasy points to three of their past four quarterbacks.
10:17That's before Tanner McKee gets a hold of him.
10:20I don't know if Tanner McKee is going to get 22 fantasy points, but he might because that Dallas defense has turned out to be so bad.
10:28And Brissett's out there in about 50% of CBS sports leagues.
10:31The rest of the quarterbacks aren't great. It's Sam Darnold.
10:34He gets the Bears. Bears have allowed at least 29 fantasy points to each of their past two quarterbacks.
10:40Plus whatever they do against Drake May on Thursday, by the time you watch this, you might know what they did.
10:46Geno Smith takes on the Raiders. It's a revenge game.
10:4921 or more fantasy points to four straight quarterbacks.
10:52Las Vegas has you. Might as well make it five because they're seeing Matthew Stafford.
10:56And then other names like Mayfield, Penix, McKee. And let's not forget about Fernando Mendoza.
11:01He'll have an opportunity to play at some point for the Raiders.
11:04The more they lose, the more likely he will go ahead and step in as Las Vegas' main man under center.
11:11Mayfield's schedule is pretty favorable going forward. It's not amazing, but it's pretty favorable.
11:15And he's 53% rostered. People are starting to pick him up.
11:18He might be playing this week. Tight ends to stash?
11:21Chico Conquist tops the list. And if we're stashing and just stashing and you've got the IR spot, especially Terrence Ferguson makes
11:28sense because he will eventually be back. It might be week nine.
11:31Hopefully it's week nine. But when he does come back, we're talking about somebody who could just slide right in and be
11:38in the number two target getter for the Rams ahead of Conada Mumpfield.
11:42If you're desperate for a tight end this week, Michael Mayer is out there in 75% of leagues.
11:47I know the matchup looks tough against the Rams.
11:50They are beat up on defense. They might be down without including Miles Garrett for starters from where they were earlier this season, including linebacker Nate Lamb.
11:58And if Lambin doesn't play, that means Omar Spates is going to play.
12:02That means the coverage will be easier for tight ends in the short area.
12:06Whatever. And Mayer just gets a lot of targets, generally speaking, with the Raiders anyway.
12:10TJ Hawkinson is in play. The Rams tight ends are in play.
12:14You can make a case for Colby Parkinson. You can make a case for Tyler Higbee.
12:19And then you've got guys like Jake Ferguson, Tommy Trumbull.
12:22I just gave you a ton of tight ends.
12:24My favorite from the group is Mayer. I think that if Baker Mayfield plays this week and Emeka Abuka doesn't, I think Kate Otten is pretty interesting.
12:32Panthers are 24th against tight ends. Otten's had five to six targets in every game.
12:37Okay. That's good. That's good. Yeah. Yeah. He should absolutely make the list.
12:41Now we have too many tight ends. What do we do with this?
12:45Yeah. So who's the best one? Like for week eight, I mean, Mayer would be my favorite of, I think, of the guys you listed.
12:52I think so too. Against the Jets? Oh, no.
12:55We're doing week nine? No. Week eight. I'm sorry.
12:58I'm sorry. Yeah. I have my weeks. Well, hold on.
13:00Let's get this strained up. Week seven, it's Mayer.
13:03Yes. Yes. And it's like 70% what the Raiders do and why and how they involve Michael Mayer.
13:09And then 30%, well, I think the Rams defense won't be the same defense that they've been.
13:14And they're not going to be. Their pass rush is going to be very different without Turner and Ford on the field.
13:20And then just going forward, I think Terrence Ferguson is the one with the most upside.
13:25If I don't need a tight end right now.
13:28I mean, I would pick Okonkwo ahead of Ferguson.
13:30Okay. Because that's rest of season type of appeal.
13:33We don't know when Ferguson's going to play and we don't know when Devontae Adams is going to be back.
13:39So it's kind of a nitpick. Okay. If we knew that Adams was out for the year and we knew that Ferguson
13:46was definitely going to play in week eight, then I might agree with you, but we don't.
13:51And so therefore Okonkwo gets the nod. Do we have good DSTs to add for next week?
13:56We have two good DSTs to add for next week.
13:59And if you've got the Texans DST or the 49ers DST, pay attention because you have to replace them and there aren't a lot of good DSTs.
14:07It's Cincinnati. They've got the Titans. Kind of don't mind the Bengals this week as long as Lamar Jackson sits out, but he's been practicing.
14:14So the Bengals defense might not be so good, but they're out there.
14:18Cincinnati in two thirds of CBS leagues. They've got the Titans in week eight.
14:22Titans have allowed at least 10 fantasy points to five of the six DSTs they've gone out against.
14:28Shout out the U shout out Cam Ward. Jaguars DST.
14:31Everybody ran away from them after what happened in London.
14:34They're a roster in only 50% of leagues. They get the Colts in week number eight.
14:38That's a matchup that I think they can turn the ball over a couple of times.
14:43Just, just kind of spitballing there, given what Daniel Jones is all about.
14:47If you can't get your hands on them, you're talking about the commander's defense.
14:51They've got Philly, Tanner McKee, and then you've got the Falcons defense, hoping to turn over Baker Mayfield a couple of times.
14:58Thank you very much, Dave Richard. Thank you very much, Miss Lippey.
15:01And we will talk to you next time on Fantasy Football Today.
