Bijan Robinson

PositiveProjection0:01

Bijan Robinson was the first overall pick in the draft, with analysts noting it's difficult to pick holes in either him or Jahmyr Gibbs as top-two options.

Insight page

Breece Hall

PositiveProjection0:11

Tom Strachan selected Breece Hall at RB17 after Derek Henry fell about 10 spots past ADP, indicating confidence in Hall's value at that draft position.

Insight page

Brock Bowers

PositiveProjection0:02

Tom Strachan selected Brock Bowers at pick 108 over Jonathan Taylor and Ramon Rasen Brown, citing the tight end's ability to lead his team in targets and the Raiders' improved offensive situation as advantageous in single-week playoff formats.

Insight page

Colston Loveland

PositiveProjection0:03

Colston Loveland is expected to go in the late second round to early third round in FFPC tight end premium settings, with analysts preferring him at his price over Trey McBride.

Insight page

Drake London

PositiveProjection0:05

Tom Strachan selected Drake London at pick 108, citing a good situation with Tua Tannehill as quarterback and confidence in the Dolphins' passing game regardless of the Michael Penix Jr. situation.

Insight page

Harold Fannin

PositiveProjection0:16

Harold Fanning was mentioned as an available tight end option after Kyle Pitts went off the board in the fifth round.

Insight page

Jahmyr Gibbs

PositiveProjection0:01

Andrew Erickson ranked Jahmyr Gibbs as his number one overall player and preferred him over Bijan Robinson at pick 2, citing the Detroit Lions' superior offensive ecosystem compared to the Atlanta Falcons' quarterback uncertainty.

Insight page

Jayden Daniels

PositiveProjection0:17

Tom Strachan noted that Jaden Daniels can be an easy top-five, if not top-three fantasy quarterback if healthy, and could potentially stack with Terry McLaurin.

Insight page

Kyle Pitts

PositiveProjection0:16

Kyle Pitts went off the board in the fifth round, sometimes going as tight end five and sometimes as tight end eight depending on the draft.

Insight page

Patrick Mahomes

PositiveProjection0:09

Patrick Mahomes was cleared for full practice and is expected to average about 37 touchdowns per year with Eric Biennemi back as offensive coordinator, though he currently isn't being drafted much.

Insight page

Terry McLaurin

PositiveProjection0:17

Tom Strachan selected Terry McLaurin, comparing him to 2024 Chris Olave and expecting a bounce-back year with Jaden Daniels healthy, noting McLaurin has never finished outside WR2 and his yards per route run remained strong despite last year's poor finish.

Insight page

Trey McBride

NegativeProjection0:03

Andrew Erickson expressed reservations about Trey McBride, suggesting last year was a 'perfect storm' with high passing volume and touchdowns, and prefers Brock Bowers, Colston Loveland, and Tyler Warren at their respective prices over paying a premium for McBride.

Insight page
PositiveUsage0:04

Trey McBride ran 67 more routes last year than any tight end in the last 20 years, demonstrating exceptional usage despite concerns about regression.

Insight page

Tucker Kraft

PositiveProjection0:16

Tucker Craft was mentioned as a tight end option that both analysts love, available after Kyle Pitts in the fifth round.

0:36It is the FantasyPros Best Ball Show with myself, Tom Strachan, and Andrew Erickson.
0:40And today, we're not messing around in any of those low-stakes drafts.
0:44Today, we're putting the money where our mouth is.
0:47It is the $125 FFPC Single Quarterback Tight End Premium Draft.
0:50Myself and Andrew in this one. Andrew's picking out at 102.
0:54I'm picking out of the 108s tonight. We will be trying to do battle to make it through to Week 14 and
1:01get out of this pod, progress through to the final, where up top there is $400,000 on the line.
1:07And Andrew, you're about to go on the clock.
1:10The first pick overall was Bijan Robinson. These drafts, they seem to be ping-ponging back and forth between a lot of people going Bijan Robinson, Jameer Gibbs.
1:18Was Jameer Gibbs an easy click for you at the 102?
1:22Yes, it was. I did consider Jamar Chase just thinking about exposures.
1:25I want to get one of these top three players.
1:29But honestly, when I've done some of these mock drafts with the FFPC settings in the NFL mock draft simulator, I've just
1:35found that I actually kind of like my teams a little bit better when I hit that hero running back, whether it is Bijan Robinson or Jameer Gibbs.
1:44Jameer Gibbs is my number one ranked player as well, overall.
1:48So I think that getting him at the second spot here, I know that some people prefer Bijan.
1:53I just prefer buying into this Detroit Lions offensive ecosystem versus the Atlanta Falcons, who still don't even know who their quarterback is going to be.
2:02So that does concern me. I like the Lions for that reason.
2:05So give me Gibbs over Bijan. And so when he falls to the second pick overall here, one quarterback league, I'm all about the Lions, baby.
2:14Yeah, I think it's hard to be too disappointed either way with either Bijan or Gibbs, like series I'm writing for the
2:21site fantasypros.com at the minute talking about like how to draft from each draft slot.
2:25And it's really difficult to pick holes in any of those guys.
2:29It's come to me now at the 108. So we've had Bijan Robinson, Jameer Gibbs, Jamar Chase, James Cook, Christian McCaffrey, Puka Nakua and JSN.
2:37So I'm on the clock here staring down Jonathan Taylor, Ramon Rasen Brown, Brock Bowers.
2:42I am going to take Brock Bowers. Now, I think a lot of people might be a little bit surprised to see a tie-in going quite that early.
2:50But for me, the advantage in this format in a single given week in the playoffs, it's just so difficult not to be into Brock Bowers.
2:59Like we talk about the guys who can lead their teams in targets and who can go absolutely nuclear.
3:05And I think that the overall situation for Raiders is such an improvement that I want that.
3:10And it's not saying that in a shell, I believe that he's necessarily better than Jonathan Taylor or Ramon Rasen Brown.
3:17It's just looking at it from a strategy point of view.
3:20In this format, I've done a couple of these one-two-five entries already.
3:24We quite often see Trey McBride taking a round for one-two turn.
3:28And we quite often see Colson Loveland gone before the end of the second round.
3:32Andrew, does that kind of feel right for you in this tie-in premium setting?
3:37I do think so. I think seeing the mid-round to late-round first-round tight ends go off the board, Loveland in that late
3:44second round, early third round, I think it does make some sense.
3:47I know that I have some reservations with McBride specifically.
3:51Just it feels like last year was like the perfect storm for him, right?
3:55In terms of so much passing volume, scoring touchdowns, and look at this Arizona Cardinals offense.
4:00And who's going to be their starting quarterback for the majority of the season?
4:04And we don't really know. We're not really sure.
4:07So I feel like we're kind of looking at him at his peak.
4:11And I just feel like I want Bowers instead of McBride.
4:15I want Loveland at his price versus McBride at his price.
4:18I want Tyler Warren at his price versus McBride's price.
4:22So again, I totally understand why he's going where he's going because of what he did last year.
4:27And he's still going to probably end up being a top-five scoring tight end.
4:32But if any of these other guys outproduces him, then it's just such a much better pick where you're getting those tight
4:39ends versus where you have to pay up a premium for a training McBride.
4:43Yeah, and I'm not totally out on Trey McBride or anything.
4:46I want a reasonable amount of exposure to him in these best ball formats.
4:51And if you're only doing one draft, perhaps it is the way to go to consider whether you want to fade him or not.
4:58But it's just worth remembering Trey McBride ran 67 more routes last year than any tight end in the last 20 years.
5:05What we saw from him, as you said, Andrew, things set up really well for him.
5:10So I'm back on the clock here since the last pick, as you can see on the board.
5:16Among Ra St. Brown, Ashton Gentty, Jonathan Taylor, Trey McBride, Devon O'Chan, Justin Jefferson, CeeDee Lamb and AJ Brown.
5:22This kind of becomes the question of do I want a running back or do I stick with this kind of zero RB approach?
5:30Which I'm looking at Chase Brown and Marion Hampton, Saquon Barkley and Drake London.
5:34And look, we did too many drafts together last year for you to possibly think that I'm not going to take Drake London here.
5:42It's just a good situation. I feel pretty good about the fact that Tua can be the quarterback.
5:47There was a report out today that Michael Penix's biggest issue is that he needs to become more accurate as a passer if he wants to surpass Tua.
5:56And that's why I'm leaning towards Tua for a reasonable amount of season.
6:00I just feel good about this situation, whichever way it goes.
6:04We did talk about that a little bit last week.
6:07But look, if you're joining us here on Twitch and wondering why this draft looks a little bit different, it is because
6:14we are using the Fantasy Pros draft assistant. We've got the league synced live.
6:18I'm looking at the draft room on my screen.
6:21Andrew's got the draft assistant up here on screen.
6:24And you can go to fantasypros.com forward slash three to try it out.
6:28It helps to see best available picks, track roster needs.
6:31You get pick by pick recommendations based on the actual draft room as things are changing.
6:36And that matters as much in best ball as everywhere because roster construction is such a huge deal.
6:42Andrew, I know you like to put your own ranks in.
6:45So you just remember exactly which players you've got over which.
6:49Just helping you kind of work your way through the queue.
6:52What would you like to land back with you with two picks out from you?
6:57I think for me, and he actually just went off the board, of course.
7:01Homerian Hampton is a guy that I was considering here.
7:04Ken Walker is another guy I was looking at in this particular range.
7:09I have the FFPC ADP also here with me in the draft assistant.
7:13You can sync up different ADPs from whatever platform you're drafting on.
7:16So you can see what the market price is on that player.
7:20You can upload your rankings and you have the Fantasy Pros ECR.
7:24So it's all there and it's very easy to toggle between.
7:27Just kind of keeps you honest of, okay, where am I going to get the best player at the best price?
7:34So, I mean, we just had a running back run.
7:37So I think it's probably going to be wide receiver for me.
7:41Or we're starting to see these seemingly receivers fall a little bit.
7:45Whether it's, I mean, Rashi Rice. Look, man, you got to take some big swings when you're playing in a tournament like this.
7:52$125 entry fee. Yeah. $400,000 to the top winning prize, I believe, is what you had talked about.
7:58So FFPC has Henry, Nico Collins, Rashi Rice as the first couple of receivers here at the top of the board.
8:04I'm looking at my rankings here to kind of see just to make sure I keep myself on.
8:10Yeah, Rice is my highest ranked guy. So I think I'm going to go with the receiver position here.
8:16And I'm going to take a shot on a very polarizing player in Rashi Rice.
8:21So we'll see how things shake out. But if he's on the field, if he's healthy, he's got a chance to be
8:28a top five producer like you saw last year.
8:30No, I'm fine with that pick there. I think it's kind of where he's going to end up settling for most of the offseason.
8:38For anyone unfamiliar with the format, it is one quarterback, two running backs, two wide receivers, one tight end.
8:44And then two flex positions. The flex can be running back, wide receiver or tight end.
8:49So it does increase the viability of kind of all positions like, you know, in DraftKings or Underdog.
8:55Quite often you're starting three wide receivers compared to two running backs.
8:58So that inflates the importance of wide receivers over there.
9:02Here with the flex also allowing you to start essentially up to three tight ends across your tight end position.
9:08And then two flex, as well as the premium scoring.
9:11It does bolster all that. The top prize is $400,000.
9:14As mentioned, second prize $100,000, which isn't too shabby.
9:17Then things fall off fast. You're down to $30,000 for third place.
9:21Fourth place is $15,000. Finished inside the top ten, you're guaranteed at least five grand.
9:26But the difference between 10th place and first place is astronomical.
9:29Just going back to Rashi Rice for a moment and then we'll talk about who you chose with your third pick.
9:36But Patrick Mahomes was cleared for full practice soon or is expected to be cleared for full practice soon.
9:42Albert Breer reported today. And currently people just don't seem to want to draft him at all.
9:47How high are you on Patrick Mahomes this year?
9:50Do you think it's as simple as Eric Biennemi's back in town and in the years that he played with Eric Biennemi as the offensive coordinator?
9:58He averaged about 37 touchdowns, I think it was, per year.
10:01Or are you happy to take Rashi Rice but a little more skeptical on Mahomes?
10:06Rashi Rice has such a wide range of outcomes.
10:09Because you've given the fact that his quarterback is coming off a knee injury.
10:13He, not injured fully, but he had something cleaned up in the offseason.
10:18Obviously we know about Rashi Rice's off-field issues. And this is probably going to be his last year in Kansas City.
10:24No matter what, he still potentially could face a suspension at some point.
10:28And this is best ball, so it does become problematic when you're taking zeros for several weeks with a player that you
10:35took at the end of the second round. That being said, the upside case for Rice is so, so clear.
10:41Just a red zone monster last year. If Mahomes can get back to what he was like with Eric Biennemi, maybe after week five, right?
10:49Even if he starts out a little bit slower, not fully Mahomes to start the season for the first four weeks.
10:56But shooting for upside, I think Rice has that.
10:59And it really is just accumulation of all the risk factors.
11:02Because if it wasn't in play, he'd be going much cheaper.
11:06And that's why I think, especially in a tournament like this, you've got to take some upside swings.
11:11I think Rice has that. Yep. So the draft comes back around to me.
11:16And Derek Henry had fallen about 10 spots past ADP.
11:19And then, of course, he's clicked one click before me.
11:22So I'm going to take Brees Hall. But Andrew, you took Gervonta Williams at the 302.
11:27It still seems like it's a complete clear backfield for him.
11:31There's a little bit of talk about Jaden Blue.
11:33There's a bit of talk about the coaching staff wanting Jaden Blue to come out and claim the job for himself as the RB2.
11:41But equally, there wasn't much out of training camp, mini camp, OTAs that suggested that he's doing that yet.
11:47How high are you on Gervonta Williams this season?
11:50I mean, taking him at the 302 there, would you have taken him any year earlier?
11:55I think this is the right spot for him.
11:58Third round, I wrote about this in my perfect draft, which is part of the Fantasy Bros draft kit, that I really
12:05like some of these round three running backs, where, based on how the board shakes out, when you have a top three
12:12pick, it's a little bit different because you really want to get a Jameer Gibbs or a B.
12:17John Robinson, one of these players that could just totally destroy fantasy football in all the good ways, or go scorched earth
12:24in all the good ways for fantasy football. But when I was running through mocks earlier, getting prepped for this show that
12:31we were doing in this draft, superhero RB really stuck out to me.
12:35I was like, okay, this is a strategy that I really like my rosters, even considering the tight end premium, considering that it's one quarterback.
12:43And Gervonta is one of the guys I've circled at the beginning of round three that, hey, depending on which receivers are
12:50there, I think Rice was someone that, it's like my Rice combo, right?
12:54Rashi Rice and the next best running back, who I also had ranked as Gervonta Williams.
12:59Derrick Henry was right after him, so I was considering Henry there as well.
13:04But ultimately, that full PPR site, do lean a little bit more on Williams, should be a bell cow in the Dallas Cowboys.
13:11Offense excited about Dallas, just that offense continues to cook as long as Zach Prescott's healthy.
13:16And Gervonta Williams, 26 years old, not this completely dusty old running back.
13:20Look, the Dallas Cowboys signed him to an extension this year after he had a monster prove it.
13:26I know he fell off in the second half a little bit last year, but I still think he has plenty of juice in the tank.
13:34He showcased that tackle-breaking ability that he did at the early part of his career.
13:39Took him a couple years to come back from his knee injury, but I think that he's full systems go, and getting
13:46him as my RB2, feel really good about that.
13:48So, since your pick, we've had a bit of a run when Jeremiah Love, Cam Scadaboo, George Pickens, Kyron Williams, Derrick Henry,
13:55Brees Hall, Travis Etienne, Josh Jacobs, Tyler Warren, Zay Flowers, Garrett Wilson, Quinshunt, Judkins, Devonta Smith, and DJ Moore.
14:01So, the running backs really started to go off the board, and FFPC, if you're used to playing on other sites, FFPC
14:08does tend to be slightly running back heavier than those.
14:11With my last two picks, I took Brees Hall at RB17, and then Emekarag Buka, giving me Brock Bowers, Drake London, Brees Hall, and Emekarag Buka.
14:20The Bucs reportedly, one of the kind of nuggets that came out of their mini-camp, was that they expect to play a
14:26huge amount of 11 personnel this year, and put three wide receivers on the field as often as possible.
14:32Emekarag Buka feels completely central to that. I'm sure that Chris Godwin's going to have some nice volume, but Emekarag Buka was
14:39tearing it up last year till he got a bit banged up, and I'm happy to get him here as my wide
14:46receiver 2, pairing him with Drake London. He's somebody I've not had enough exposure to yet.
14:51Yeah, the draft's kind of working its way back to you, Andrew.
14:55You've got Jameer Gibbs, Rushy Rice, Javonny Williams. How far do you think you'll end up pushing tight end before you take your first tight end?
15:03I don't know if I'm at liberty to share that information with you, Tom, considering we are drafting against each other here.
15:10Oh, no, I'm told. I am going to be punting it a little bit here, probably towards maybe around 7, 8, 9,
15:1710-ish area, because I just love, and again, we're getting a receiver run here, which kind of sucks, but there are still
15:24so many receivers I really like here. Top of the ADP, it's our guy, my guy, your guy, everybody's guy that we
15:31absolutely love, Jalen Waddell, who received some praise in, I believe it was an athletic report, just the biggest takeaways from OTAs,
15:38and Jalen Waddell is going to be a focal point of this offense.
15:42So that's something that I love to hear as a Jaden Waddell stan, hoping that the planet's finally aligned for him.
15:49Maybe it was just, hey, let's get a new quarterback, let's get a new offensive play caller for him, and I just
15:56think that he's set up really, really well here.
15:58So Jalen Waddell, he's my highest ranked player. As you can see, my rankings on the draft assistant, and he's right up
16:05there in ADP in terms of some of the top receivers on the board.
16:10So I'm going to be taking Jalen Waddell here and loading up on my, or rounding out some of my receivers, because
16:17I don't feel any need to go running back here, because I've already drafted two really strong running backs.
16:23Yeah, definitely. The Jameer Gibbs-Javante Williams pairing definitely sets you up to not be forced into anything, and then it just kind
16:30of lets you come back to this pick in the fifth round, where you could go tight end if you were to bring somebody up in ADP.
16:38You could look at one of the other elite quarterbacks in Lamar Jackson, Drake May, Joe Burrow.
16:44The tight end position after Kyle Pitts goes off the board, as he just does there, kind of opens up a little bit.
16:51I mean, Kyle Pitts sometimes is going as tight end eight, sometimes as tight end five, like he does here.
16:57You've got Harold Fanning, Tucker Craft, who we both love.
17:00There's plenty of options. You go with Terry McLaurin.
17:03Nice start there with Jameer Gibbs, Rashi Rice, Javante Williams, and Jalen Waddell, and Terry McLaurin.
17:08Do you think that we're going to get 2024 Terry McLaurin this year with Jaden Daniels?
17:13Terry McLaurin, to me, screams like last year's Chris Olave, right?
17:17Where you just have this just totally terrible season because of injuries and quarterback issues.
17:21But we all know Terry McLaurin is the clear-cut number one wide receiver on this team.
17:26Citing that athletic report, what they wrote about the Commanders was, Terry McLaurin is the number one target, and we still don't
17:33know who is second behind him on the depth chart.
17:36So it's very clear who the passing game is going to go through as long as Jaden Daniels is healthy.
17:43And he's someone that, depending on where these quarter- we've only just seen one quarterback be drafted so far.
17:49Maybe I have a potential stack in the making with Jaden Daniels as an option.
17:53If he's healthy, we know he can be an easy top five, if not top three fantasy quarterback.
17:59And McLaurin, look at his body of work. Never finishes outside a wide receiver two.
18:04Again, he had that one year in 2024 where it was an outlier of peak performances.
18:09And last year was the outlier of this is the worst finish he's basically ever had.
18:14But the thing that reminds me of him about Olave is his yards per route one was still really good.
18:20Same thing Olave in 2024. Yards per route one was still good, get smaller sample size.
18:25But nothing from last year suggests to me, oh yeah, McLaurin can't play anymore.
18:30He's washed. He's taken a step back. It's just a really bad season for him, the commander's offense overall.
18:36So I think he bounces back here. I think he helps mitigate some of the risk with Rashi Rice.
18:42I feel a good amount of McLaurin finishing as a top 20 guy.
18:46This is Tony Ayo from The Real Report with Tony Ayo and Uncle Murda.

19:54Oh my goodness. Now this is a performance you do not want to miss.
19:58The Dell XPS powered by Intel Core Ultra. It's got the sauce.
20:02We're talking speed, style, stamina. Bam! And a long-lasting battery life.
20:05Unheard of in this league. So whether you're using it for the next level creativity, never-ending productivity, or the entertainment that has
20:12for you on the edge of your seat, this laptop is your MVP.
20:17Just look at the hustle. Is there anything you can't do from the first second of the action all the way through the overtime?
20:24This thing is a powerhouse. The Dell XPS. Built for those with all the right moves.

20:34Bro, from the show last night to this drive, why is it never chill?
20:39Because this is our life. Backstage, on the road, it's loud, messy, real.
20:43And that's the best part. Whole crew, no plan, just moving.
20:46Good thing Nissan builds for that kind of chaos.
20:49Not just test tracks, real-life scenes. Late nights, road trips, all of it.
20:53That's why it holds up. Nissan was ranked number one in initial quality among mainstream brands by J.D.
20:59Power. Yeah, you can tell. 2026 Nissan Rogue built for what really happens.

21:08Awards based on 2025 model year. Newer models may be shown.
21:11Yeah, I feel good about it. Yeah, I think obviously so much comes onto the Jaden Daniels side of it and the health overall.
21:19But like the David Blau offensive coordinator hire looks to be a really interesting one.
21:23It seems like they're going to try and really open up some different looks and play action, some deep shots again that perhaps didn't really click last year.
21:32I'm getting sniped left, right, and center here. I had DeAndre Swift sat there in my queue feeling like that was going
21:39to be a nice running back two to pair with Brees Hall.
21:43Goes one pick before me, which maybe it's just going to be one of those drafts.
21:48So I'm looking at Trevion Henderson, Byshell Toon, Jaderian Price, Devontae Adams, Harold Fanning, Drake May, Tucker Craft.
21:54I like all those tight ends, but I think I'm going to push it around the corner and see what comes back.
22:00And instead, I'm going to take Devontae Adams. I know that a lot of people are feeling slightly worried about Devontae Adams.
22:07I think that people seeing the chances of touchdown regression coming his way, people are looking at the age, et cetera, et cetera.
22:15But I just see a Rams offense which is going all in this year, which is so locked in for this to
22:22be a big dominant team, the Super Bowl favorites.
22:24And I look at what Devontae Adams did when he was on the field last year.
22:29Like, he was absolutely dominant in the red zone.
22:32And yes, Puka Nakua came on as the season went on and started scoring.
22:37Well, he scored more touchdowns than he ever scored in a season before.
22:41But nine of his 17 red zone targets came in games when Devontae Adams played 60% or less of the snaps.
22:47So it kind of gives me faith that we could be seeing Devontae Adams still have that red zone role.
22:54Do you like Devontae Adams this year, Andrew? Or are you just kind of leaning more to like Puka wide receiver one overall season?
23:01I think I'm more on the Puka side. Devontae Adams has not been a player I've been drafting.
23:07He's a player that I think I've been, I think since the earliest article featured pros we had when it was early
23:14consensus, who you think will be a bust this year at wide receiver.
23:18And Devontae Adams has kind of been my default guy in most of the scenarios.
23:23I just get more, again, the touchdowns, even in some of the projections that we've looked at, he still projected for eight,
23:30nine touchdowns, but that puts him more in that wide receiver 18 territory.
23:34And I feel like that's kind of his ceiling.
23:37Unless, of course, the thing that burns me and what works out for you is if Puka does go down.
23:43Well, I got him for wide receiver 27. Yeah.
23:46So again, the price there, I think, is more in line with where I view him.
23:51I think that I have him close to that too.
23:54Yeah. That's pretty far too for him to fall to 27 because I've seen him much closer to the inside the top 24 range.
24:01So I think at least you're getting him at a good price here, which is obviously really important.
24:07But to me, it's Adams, like he was such a good guy to draft last year.
24:12Right. And I don't want to be stuck chasing all the touchdown production.
24:16Like, for example, a guy who's still on the board here and maybe he's a player that you might consider picking, Mike Evans, right?
24:24Or excuse me, he already went at the 412.
24:27But I think that this year, Mike Evans could be the guy that catches a ton of touchdowns with a ton of red zone opportunities.
24:35So that's kind of what I'm trying to project forward a little bit more versus kind of chasing what happened last year.
24:41But that being said, if Puka does go down, then I'm screwed because he goes, because Devante is going to project so well at those particular weeks.
24:50And if it's for a long stretch of the season, then yes, I will be applauding you because you will be destroying me in this draft pool.
24:59Yeah, it's definitely like there's certain builds where I wouldn't take Devante Adams.
25:03Like, if I only had one wide receiver or two wide receivers, which isn't uncommon in this draft board that we're in,
25:10but taking him as my third wide receiver makes sense.
25:13I feel like you can build around that a lot more.
25:16But if you've gone running back heavy to start the draft, then yes, I want some guys who are possibly a little younger and a little more...
25:25We understand their path a little more clearly than relying on touchdowns.
25:28So I take Devante Adams in the fifth round.
25:31Then Jadarian Price took a craft as the tight end six goes off board.
25:36Trevion Henderson, Lamar Jackson goes as quarterback two on the turn.
25:39Harold Fannin, Bachel Tutton, Drake May, Tony Pollard. And then I take Tuber Hubbard because I am going to stand against Jonathan Brooks this year.
25:47That is the one thing I can't get on board with.
25:50I fully understand the positive reports and I expect him to have good involvement.
25:55I'm not saying that I don't think that he's going to be good, but I just...
26:00I'm not buying in that he should be drafted where he does.
26:04I've seen him getting drafted, pushed up and up into like the eighth, ninth round at times, which just feels kind of
26:11crazy for a guy who we just haven't seen an awful lot from in the other 1-2-5 entry, which I'm currently drafting as a slow draft.
26:19He went as the RB 36 at the middle of the ninth round, just behind...
26:24well, just ahead of guys like Aaron Jones, Rashad White, J'Kuri Kroski Merritt.
26:28And really, I think that you could make... I would like to make an argument that he could be pushed down to
26:35at least round 12 and that's where I would feel comfortable taking him.
26:39Tuber Hubbard was injured last year. The team still felt like they wanted to go back to him at points when he
26:46was healthier and Rico Dowrell wasn't playing against weak defences and they tried to get Tuber going.
26:51Now, I know I've talked about how Tuber Hubbard had no explosivity last year, like just the worst, literally the worst, in
26:58the league on 50 carries or more when it came to explosivity.
27:02But I'm betting on Tuber Hubbard who still has the faith of the team, has a decent-sized contract to get enough of
27:09the high-value touches that I want to take him.
27:11And I'm willing to stand on that in this $125 entry draft.
27:15After my pick, it went Roma Dunze, Joe Burrow, Kenneth Gainwell at RB29, Christian Watson at wide receiver 29.
27:21So we're really ping-ponging back and forth evenly between the wide receivers and the running backs.
27:26Sam Laporte goes off at tight end eight. Then Jaden Daniels to Mr.
27:30Andrew Erickson, stacking him with Terry McLaurin, followed by Marvin Harrison, Justin Herbert, and then Carnell Tate as the wide receiver 31.
27:37Giving Andrew a team of Jameer Gibbs, Rashley Rice, Javante Williams, Jalen Waddell, Terry McLaurin, Jaden Daniels, Carnell Tate.
27:43Andrew, were you at all tempted to try and push Jaden Daniels around that corner and miss out on that stack?
27:50Or was it just imperative that you walked away from that turn with that stack?
27:55It was one of those where I tried to...
27:57What's going to make me sleep better at night, right?
28:01Do I risk just trying to get one additional wide receiver?
28:04I had Tate ranked the highest anyway, so I basically got exactly what I wanted.
28:09But I didn't want to sweat the extra two picks of, is he going to take Jaden Daniels?
28:14Which, because he did take a quarterback, team six, also picking in the 101 slot, they did draft Justin Herbert.
28:21So there was a chance that I would have got sniped.
28:24And that would have just been poor, poor execution on my part.
28:28But again, I do need to highlight the fact that I kind of teased this earlier when I was talking about Jaden Daniels.
28:35I ran a lot of mocks before we did this draft.
28:39And I felt confident that Jaden Daniels was going to be there for me at the 6-11, which is why I kind of teased it.
28:47So again, like this is a high stakes draft.
28:49And how did I prepare for it was using the mock draft simulator.
28:54And so far, what my team looks like here isn't too dissimilar to what some of the mock drafts that I did
29:00with certain settings in the mock draft simulator. So I'm feeling great right now about what my team is.
29:06And I have, again, I haven't done tight end yet, but I have a strategy in mind that I hope that I
29:13can execute on in the next couple of rounds.
29:16So we'll see if it shakes out. We'll see if all the hard work, all the reps will pay off, Tom.
29:23Yeah. Hey, I mean, there's been pushback over the last few years for mock drafts.
29:28Some people say, what's the point in doing mock drafts, blah, blah, blah, to just get reps in in best ball drafts that are live.
29:35And I don't agree with that when you've got tools as good as we have for this sort of stuff, when you can replicate the ADP.
29:44And yes, things always change when the money is on the line slightly.
29:48But getting a feel for where the pockets of value are, getting a feel for how far you can push certain players,
29:55and getting a feel for what your roster construction can look like, I still think that there's a lot of value in
30:02that and it's not something that I'm going to stop doing.
30:05The quarterbacks have gone off in kind of a funky order after your pick.
30:09So Joe Burrow was QB4, then you've got Jaden Daniels at QB5, Justin Herbert goes QB6, Caleb Williams QB7, Jalen Hurts at QB8.
30:17If he had made it to me, I would have smashed that button so loud it would have hurt the earlobes of
30:24the good people listening on Fantasy Pro's podcast feed.
30:27And then Trevor Lawrence goes off at QB9. I just, the Jalen Hurts, hey, it's gone too far, Andrew.
30:32It probably has. And I haven't necessarily been the highest on Jalen Hurts.
30:37I think that there are some things you can poke in his projection for this year.
30:42I don't think that losing A.J. Brown, it's weird to talk about that because A.J.
30:46Brown is the best receiver on the Eagles if he was still on the Eagles.
30:51He's not on the Eagles anymore. But the relationship they had last year on the field was not good.
30:57And it definitely didn't help Hurts. So as weird as it sounds like the Patriots are getting obviously monster wide receiver upgrade.
31:04Hurts is losing his best receiver. But last year, it really wasn't like that.
31:08It didn't feel like A.J. Brown, the best version of him was on the field last year for the Philadelphia Eagles and was helping Jalen Hurts.
31:17So ultimately, now he's becoming more of a value, right?
31:20The fact that he goes now in the same range as, I mean, Dak Prescott went six picks, seven picks after.
31:26Dak Prescott has no rushing value whatsoever. Zero. Like there's no rushing juice to be spoken of when it comes to his projection.
31:34Trevor Lawrence has a lot of rushing. He's a guy I was also considering if he had fallen to me at my
31:41next pick because it is best ball. So you can take two quarterbacks somewhat earlier.
31:45But yeah, getting him into 705, locking in a one quarterback who could still flirt with potentially double double digit rushing touchdowns.
31:52And again, Makai Lemon's no slouch. So even though you lose A.J.
31:56Brown, you're still getting a lemon. Yeah, it's good value.
31:59Yeah, it's it's a strange room. I do like Dak Prescott.
32:03I'm definitely a bit above market compared to a lot of people.
32:06I'm back on the clock now with Brock Bowers, Drake London, Brees Hall, Emekarag Buka, Devontae Adams, Tuva Hubbard, and Jalen Warren.
32:13I had been considering taking a quarterback here, but I'm going to push it.
32:18It doesn't feel like there's a few who I like and I'm confident enough in one quarterback best ball that I can
32:25push that first one around a little bit more.
32:27I would have liked George Kittle who didn't make it to me.
32:31Might have been interested in J.K. Dobbins, but instead I'm looking at a choice of Rico Dowdle, R.J.
32:37Harvey, Travis Kelsey, Jake Ferguson, Brock Purdy, Jackson Dart, Patrick Mahomes, Corlin Sutton, Rashad White.
32:42Not interested in Jonathan Brooks. Yeah, I was like, wait, you're missing one particular player.
32:46You didn't say his name yet. We're not doing that.
32:50So with 15 seconds left, I need to make a move and I'm going to take Travis Kelsey.
32:55I'm higher on Travis Kelsey than a lot of people.
32:58I think that going back to what I said about Patrick Mahomes and how he's averaged far more touchdowns when Eric Bien-Ami
33:05is calling plays, I think that Eric Bien-Ami knows what a good security blanket Travis Kelsey can be for Patrick Mahomes.
33:12I think we saw last year that Travis Kelsey looked much better than he had in the previous season and you want
33:19to go through a list of players who are capable of racking up volume at the tight end position and that's what Travis Kelsey gives you.
33:27Yes, the receiving numbers were down last year. I'm not denying that but like when we get to this kind of cliff
33:34edge in the draft and you're looking at guys like Dalton Kincaid who comes off a field a decent amount, you're looking
33:41at guys like Dallas Goddard who did look very old last year but got there on touchdowns, you're looking at Mark Andrews and his numbers were massively down.
33:50I want to make a bet on somebody who can score touchdowns but also have a good number of receptions so I'm
33:57fine making a bet on Travis Kelsey as my tight end too.
34:00I have Brock Bowers, Drake London, Bree Soil, Emekareg, Bucha, Devontae Adams, Tuba Hubbard, Jalen Warren, Travis Kelsey and there are 10
34:07teams in this league already who have at least one quarterback.
34:11We do have one team on the turn who took Trey McBride, Devon Ochan, Zay Flowers, Garrett Wilson, Lamar Jackson, Harold Fanning and Dak Prescott.
34:19It's a curious one taking Dak Prescott there. Maybe they plan on being completely done of a quarterback position and just sticking
34:26with two but I think given the investment in Lamar, given they only had two wide receivers through eight rounds I think
34:33I would have probably preferred to go with a different position there.
34:36The clock's winding through towards Andrew after I took a pick.
34:40We're seeing a little bit of a purple run.
34:43The tight ends are going off the board so far since Andrew last picked.
34:47Six different tight ends have gone. Isaiah Likely, George Kittle, Travis Kelsey, Dalton Kincaid, Mark Andrews, Dallas Goddard, followed by Cortland Sutton
34:54and Andrew is on the clock with his masterful plan ready to go.
34:58Well, this tight end run was brutal for me.
35:01Like this is this is exactly what I did not want to have happen where six tight ends went before my pick in the eighth round.
35:09So that's not good and I refuse to draft Jake Ferguson when his splits with Lamb and Pickens are just so, so bad.
35:16So I'm not going to force tight end here because I get I'm already going to be behind the eight ball.
35:23So no point in digging a bigger hole for myself in my opinion.
35:27So I'm going to be drafting just best player available.
35:30So for me, that's going to be Rashad White getting in locking in some more of that running running back position.
35:37I mean, there's a lot of so it's interesting.
35:40This particular round would have been great if there was a tight end I liked I would have probably gone in that direction.
35:47But the running backs in this range, Brooks, White, RJ Harvey.
35:50Like those are three guys that I really like in this particular spot because what do they all do?
35:56All at least besides Jonathan Brooks, but they all project to catch passes, right?
36:01So that's why I like them as some of these late round running back pieces and I might even double tap honestly here.
36:08And yeah, it's not a bad spot for it.
36:11I mean, coming through the draft so far, you're looking at the back end of RB three range, Rashad White paired with Javonde Williams, Jamea Gibbs.
36:19Grabbing another running back here wouldn't be a bad thing.
36:22I mean, there's a lot more heavier running back teams on the side of the board that I'm on.
36:28It's a little harder to fight it, but you're right next to your team that's only got one running back so far.
36:35So it's a good time to scoop another one potentially.
36:38Who takes your fancy the most? Yeah, so this is why I got my rankings uploaded here.
36:44Brooks and Harvey are back to back in ADP.
36:46Brooks is ahead, but in my rankings, I have Harvey one spot ahead of Jonathan Brooks, so I will not be drafting Jonathan Brooks in this draft.
36:55Maybe Tom will draft him when he falls to him because nobody wants him in this room in particular.
37:01RJ Harvey, we got word that he'd had the surgery tools at his labrum and he should be ready at some point during training camp.
37:09Do you worry about that at all for a player learning a new offense in some ways?
37:14It's more of a new play call than a new offense, but being out there would definitely be helpful at this point.
37:21Jonah Coleman coming in as a reasonable prospect. I mean, the Broncos traded away almost all their draft capital and used their second available pick on Jonah Coleman.
37:30Do you think that there's any room for concern or do you just think that Jonah Coleman is going to struggle to see the ball in year one?
37:39I think Jonah Coleman is really more of the direct handcuff to J.K.
37:43Dobbins. And the thing with Harvey is all of the concerns with him, especially as a rusher last year, it was not good.
37:50It's all baked into him being a ninth round pick and a one quarterback league with a tight end premium.
37:56I assume that he's going to probably go in a similar range in pretty normal drafts even without the tight end premium.
38:03And I guess for me, it's if he can improve anything as a rusher, that's gravy because catching passes as a rookie
38:10running back, like that is more impressive to me.
38:13Like that's usually what we're looking for them to take the next step into year two is okay, now this running back
38:20is going to be involved in the passing game.
38:23Like Harvey's already done that. And to me, that's the more difficult thing.
38:27Whereas you just got to hit the hole, man.
38:30Like trying to hit the home run. So even if he's not the most consistent guy in terms of rushing success rate,
38:37kind of like a Ken Walker type to him where yet rip off a couple big runs, but he's never going to see the lion share of carries.
38:46That's okay with me. If it also means he's going to catch three, four balls and have opportunities to score touchdowns in
38:53an offense that we believe will be inside the top 10.
38:56If they replicate what they did last year, I think that where he's going, he's a good value, especially in the best
39:03ball format where I don't need to project what his workload will be like this week.
39:08It's did he rip off a big play or not?
39:11Check yes or check no. And well, he still caught three passes for, you know, 50 yards, whatever.
39:17So I think that Harvey again, just highlighting those three running backs in particular, I really like in this range, white Harvey and Jonathan Brooks.
39:25Yeah, I mean, I like two or three. Can't win them all.
39:28My pick, I was hoping that Matthew Stafford would make it back to me so I could stack him with Devante Adams.
39:35Turnout, he went two picks before he got to me.
39:39So I take Patrick Mahomes to stack with Travis Kelsey.
39:42Like I say earlier, I think Patrick Mahomes could be in for a good year and getting him at QB 14 in the back end of round nine.
39:50I think that there's so little risk with that pick there.
39:54You know, it's a guy that if healthy probably would be kind of QB 7 range, I think because people have gotten
40:01fed up with the poor fantasy returns that he's given.
40:04But we know the talent's there. We know that if Rashley Rice, Travis Kelsey and Xavier Worthy are all healthy, then that
40:11is a good offense and I'm willing to buy into it.
40:14And it probably leaves me in a position where I'm leaning towards a three quarterback build and I'll have to be smart
40:21with when I take those because if there is any kind of hangover at the start of the season for Patrick Mahomes,
40:28the last thing I want to do is give up ground in this contest.
40:33But yes, after that, Quentin Johnson goes, somebody else who's getting plenty of off-season hype, Blake Corham, Bo Nix.
40:39We're almost through nine rounds and if you are enjoying this stream, make sure you follow us over here on Twitch so you don't miss the next stream.
40:48We'll be back in two weeks time. drop comments the more you subscribe.
40:52The more of these we should be able to do and we want to know what you want to see, what you
40:59want to talk about in these drafts and we're always happy to answer your fantasy football questions as we go.
41:05On that corner after Bo Nix goes McKay Lemon, Aaron Jones, Kyler Murray.
41:09So we're seeing teams double tap quarterback in quick succession here.
41:12By the time it gets back to Andrew, we could see another quarterback run to follow the kind of tight end run that we saw.
41:20After Kyler Murray goes Baker Mayfield QB 17. I had my eye on Baker Mayfield to stack with Emekarag Buka, which kind
41:27of leaves me now looking at the quarterback position and there's not as much as I was hoping would come to me there.
41:34So instead, I am going to take one of the guys who I have been heavy on all offseason, who if you've
41:41been reading my work on fantasypros.com you've seen me name him numerous times and that is Josh Downs, wide receiver 41, not
41:48gone too high just yet in ADP. He's been sort of around the wide receiver 45 range for most of the offseason.
41:55Alec Pearce potentially not even ready for week one of the season.
41:59Yes, we're expecting Tyler Warren to take a step forward.
42:02Yes, there are all these rumors floating out there about Keenan Allen, but at minicamp and at OTAs, the Colts were using
42:09him more outside rather than just as a pure slot receiver.
42:13Andrew, at wide receiver 41, can Josh Downs survive Keenan Allen signing for the Colts?
42:17I'm not sure I can deal another Keenan Allen nuking a young and upcoming wide receiver for like the fifth year in a row, it seems like.
42:26Yeah, look, Downs to me, 10th round, this is an easy pick.
42:30So I'm jealous that you ended up snagging him.
42:32I definitely would have, he would have been at the top of my queue.
42:37He was definitely at the top of my board.
42:40I don't know if you guys were looking, but I was hovering over his name in the draft assistant and there's a
42:47little, there are a bunch of Z's next to his name because yeah, he's a sleeper.
42:52But of course, those sleepers don't fly under the radar when you're drafting against Tom Strachan.
42:57So it's a great pick by you and I hope for my sake, I hope Keenan signs there tomorrow.
43:03Well, even in a marginalized role last year where he was playing 62% of snaps snaps with Alec, with Michael Pittman who
43:10had an okay season and Alec Pierce who was dominating, they were both above 80% of snaps.
43:15He was still earning really strong amount of targets.
43:18He had a targets per route run of 0.24, which is really solid.
43:22It was the highest among the Colts pass catchers.
43:25And even in a poor season, by the way that a lot of people looked at him, he earned 84 targets.
43:31Now, if he could find his way to the end zone a little bit more to kind of bump up, his total
43:38fantasy points, if he can be out there for just a little bit more than that, like if Keenan Allen's there, let's
43:45not forget that Keenan Allen is no spring chicken.
43:48He's an incredible player, he's a really strong wide receiver, but he recently turned 34 years old, so it's not like we're
43:55getting Keenan Allen at his absolute peak here, and it would be Keenan Allen once again having to build a relationship with
44:02a quarterback he's never played with before. So I think that there's a world where even if Keenan Allen signs there or
44:09somebody else, then I'm still confident enough in Josh Downs and this offense, as long as Daniel Jones isn't diabolical when he comes back.
44:16So after my pick, we went Tyler Shuck, Michael Wilson, Jordan Love, Chigga Conquo, Jacory Krosky Merritt, Malik Willis to Andrew Erickson as your quarterback too.
44:25QB 21 in this draft. I mean, we saw him light up my Baltimore Ravens just pushing the ball downfield consistently.
44:31Obviously, there are going to be questions about whether he can do that with the limited pass catchers that he's got.
44:38I know there's at least one player in Miami who you're interested in probably stacking him, but I won't mention it here.
44:45Just, you know, good etiquette in this draft room.
44:48But do you think that any of the guys, and you can answer this after you've made your next pick because we're
44:55back to you already, but out of the guys like Chris Bell, Malik Washington, and various other pass catchers, do you think
45:01that there's anyone who can really support a downfield game or is this just going to have to be Malik Willis dumping
45:08off to Devon Ochan to keep the ball moving?
45:11I think it's going to be a lot of that.
45:14I think it's going to be some dump-off passes.
45:17I think that in certain scenarios where Malik Willis can buy time, that he will be able to hit some guys downfield
45:24and it'll be a different guy every single week.
45:27Be like, oh, who's that guy that just caught that long touchdown for the Miami Dolphins?
45:32And it'll be Tutu Atwell one week. You've got 10 seconds on the clock, by the way.
45:37Yeah, let me make my pick here. I can't be getting nervous on your behalf.
45:42Sorry, yes, so carry on your thought. So I do think that with Malik Willis, I'm more concerned really about is there
45:49potential for benching with him in a similar way to happen with Justin Fields.
45:53So in a best ball format that does concern me a little bit, again, he's my quarterback too, but there's no waiver wire here.
46:01So these are the quarterbacks that we're going to the dance with and there's no one else that we can go home with.
46:08It's these guys until the clock strikes midnight. So I think Willis at least is going to be able to fill my
46:15lineup in the occasional times because he's going to run a ton.
46:19Like that's the thing. Like I think he's such a good redraft pick because you can churn him if he's not rushing
46:26as much as we expect him to or whatever.
46:29But in terms of just like looking at rushing projections for quarterbacks, man, he's like right up there with all the top
46:36guys, whether it's a Jaden Daniels, whether it's a Lamar Jackson.
46:39So I get like why he's being ranked where he is because the offensive environment around him is so underwhelming.
46:45But if that just encourages him to run more, then he's going to pile up fantasy points really, really quick.
46:52And my, and my, I like to address this as to it.
46:56Like I still have a draft of tight end because I got destroyed by the round eight tight end run.
47:02And I don't, don't take Greg Dulcich from me, from me to home, please.
47:06I don't think Greg Dulcich is making it back to you, to be honest.
47:11After your pick, we saw Brendan Strange, Rondé Gadsden, Jawan Johnson, Hunter Henry go off the board.
47:16That's tight end 20. Greg Dulcich kind of going in that tight end 21, tight end 23 range.
47:22I'm possibly pushing it, but if the turn takes it, there's one other team here picking right after me who don't have a tight end.
47:30But yeah, Andrew, you've definitely got yourself in a situation where I think you're going to have to look at a volume
47:36heavy approach to the tight end position and probably be willing to put four picks into tight end now, which at least
47:43is going to be a little bit tough. Were you just not into any of Brendan Strange, Rondé Gadsden, Jawan Johnson, Hunter
47:50Henry, or was it so much that you preferred Xavier Worthy so much more than those guys?
47:56Well, I like having Worthy and Rice because I do think that there's some correlation between those two where if Rice is
48:03end up suspended, look, all of the puff pieces about Worthy have been if this guy hadn't destroyed his shoulder in the
48:10first game of the season, like he would have had a much bigger role in this offense and they just had to really dial it back.
48:18So a little bit of hedging there between the two Chiefs wide receivers.
48:22But I mean, in all honesty, I wanted Ciccoconclo, but he went two picks before me.
48:27So I've definitely been on the bad side of the time because I would have picked him and wouldn't have thought twice about it.
48:34Again, I still have a lot of late round tight ends that I like.
48:39And between Strange, Gadsden, Johnson, just combined his name, Johnson, Hunter Henry, to me, they're all just kind of like the same, right?
48:46So I felt like Worthy, at least with my current roster, actually has something to offer.
48:51I really feel strongly, I'm probably going to end up going with like a more fragile running back build here because I
48:58like the four running backs that I have on my team load up on tight ends.
49:03Worthy, I felt fit my roster. Obviously, I might regret that, but I don't know.
49:08None of those tight ends to me were just, oh, I got to have this guy on my team, whereas Worthy, I
49:15can feel like he fits my roster a little bit better.
49:18But again, in hindsight, it's 2020, so we'll figure out if it was worth it or not if I don't get another
49:25tight end by the time I pick next. Well, looking at some of the historical data on this kind of roster construction
49:32that you're faced with now where you've not got a tight end through the first, what, 10 rounds?
49:38Well, you're into 11, yeah. So teams which haven't taken a tight end inside the first 10 rounds, they've been able to be successful in this format.
49:46Win rate is deemed 8.3%, and teams who went to four tight ends have gained a 9.1% win rate, so decent amount
49:53above 8.3%, and teams who took five tight ends had a win rate of 9.7%.
49:58So Andrew, if you're willing to commit to hammering the position over the coming rounds, then there might be a way back out of this one for you.
50:07And I think that you could consider whether you're happy with Malik Willis and Jane Daniels.
50:12I mean, Malik Willis and Jane Daniels, both of that rushing upside we talked about, like, Willis and what he brings to
50:19the table, but in the games that he's played 60% of snaps or more, he said 40 rushing yards in six of them.
50:26So will you be more tempted to lean 2QB at this point?
50:30I think it does depend on the guys who are available.
50:33I do like Cam Ward a decent amount. The thing that I have to be careful with is because they are both
50:40rushing quarterbacks, that, I mean, we've seen Jane Daniels get banged up, right?
50:44And then if it's just me, Malik Willis, I mean, I have concerns, like, is Malik Willis even going to be there
50:51starting at the end of the year? If they decide, hey, we're going to bench you, we want to see, I mean, I don't think that's smart.
51:00I also want to lean into the fact that I have Carnell Tate.
51:04If Cam Ward hits in any way, shape, or form and takes a second year leap, I got to imagine it's going
51:11to be because Carnell Tate is the guy that was promised to them as a top five wide receiver pick.
51:17So it has to be the right quarterback, I would say, for me.
51:21And Cam Ward is on the board here. There's another there.
51:25And again, there are a couple tight ends I still like.
51:28The tight end runs have not worked favorably for me.
51:31I would definitely will prioritize getting a tight end before a third quarterback at this point.
51:36Well, I mean, to your point, since the last pick, only TJ Hawkinson has gone off the board since Hunter Henry in the middle of round 11.
51:45So it has swayed away from the tight end position.
51:48The tight end is currently on the board. We're at tight end 22 will be the next one off.
51:54And it is Kenyon Sadiq, Dolan Schultz, Greg Dulcich, AJ Barner, Gunnar Helm, Pat Frymoove, K-Dawden, David Njoku, Terence Ferguson, Mike Sickey, Eli Stowers, Evan Ingram, Colby Parkinson.
52:03If you can come away with two or three of that range, I don't think that's a problem at all.
52:09And then, yeah, taking another couple slightly later, I think will turn things around quite nicely and you'll feel much better of
52:16it by the time that we get to there.
52:19Kenyon Sadiq does go off the board after Keaton Mitchell, who is the RB 42, Khalil Shakir, wide receiver 52, CJ Stroud, QB 25.
52:26One pick out from Andrew, who has Jameer Gibbs, Rashi Rice, Javonte Williams, Jalen Waddle, Terry McLaurin, Jaden Daniels, Carnell Tate as
52:33mentioned, Rashad White, RJ Harvey, Malik Willis, and Xavier Worthy.
52:36Cam Ward goes off the board so no Tennessee stack for Mr.
52:40Andrew Erickson is now the time to pull the Greg Dulcich trigger.
52:44Yes, and I told myself that I wasn't going to leave this draft with Greg Dulcich as my tight end one.
52:51When we first started, when I was doing these mock drafts, I'm thinking, okay, I can't do this, right?
52:57But now I can get the Greg Dulcich Malik Willis stack.
53:00That's, you know, Tom, I think this is going to win some million dollars at some point.
53:05So we're going to embrace it here in this FFPC draft with Greg Dulcich and Malik Willis.
53:11See how it goes. Well, hopefully it wins you $400,000, not quite a million, but I feel like we'd be okay with that.
53:18You know, life could be much worse if you've got $400,000.
53:21So Andrew now has his tie-end one, the tie-end 23, Greg Dulcich.
53:25I think I'm kind of fine with that value.
53:28I've been a little bit of a hater where Greg Dulcich has been concerned this offseason, but it's more just, I think
53:35it's a lot of projection for a guy who's dealt with a lot of injuries, who has never really put it all
53:42together to assume that he's going to be able to stay consistent with a quarterback who has had similar, a similar journey to this point.
53:50It's just so much projection that generally I don't like reaching for 23.
53:54I'm okay with it. Andrew, you're back on the clock.
53:57Is it time for another tight end? Probably is.
54:00Yeah. I think that's probably the safe and right thing to do.
54:04Take care, eat your vegetables. It's going to be one of these really yawn type of boring picks, but I think that my highest ranked guy.
54:12So yeah, AJ Barner, another player that I do think is kind of interesting from a tight end perspective.
54:18I feel like he's kind of been underrated since he entered the NFL and he was solid last year at times.
54:25Seattle, I think, might throw the ball a little bit more this year.
54:29You look at the investment they have in the receivers on their team and maybe put a little bit more on Sam
54:36Donald's plate with a new offensive coordinator coming in.
54:38So AJ Barner, I guess I feel like he's had injuries and I'm not sure how healthy he's going to be.
54:45He's missed so much time. AJ Barner would have been my pick because going back to round 11, I took Sam Donald
54:52as my QB2 and was planning on keeping an eye on AJ Barner if he made it back to me.
54:58But now I guess I will have to bet on Elijah Arroyo or Rashid Shahid at some point.
55:04I also took Daniel Jones in round 12 to pair with Josh Downs to give I think that Josh Downs, Daniel Jones
55:11can be my quarterback room, Patrick Mahomes, Sam Donald and Daniel Jones.
55:15It would be nice if two out of three weren't coming off major injuries but I think I have enough there to be okay with it.
55:23Reports out of Seahawks is that they still want to keep pushing the ball vertically and Sam Donald showed last year that he can run hot like that.
55:32So I'm about to be back on the board in the 13th round.
55:36I have Brock Bowers, Drake London, Brees Hall, Amekarek, Bucher, Devante Adams, Chuba Hubbard, Jalen Warren, Travis Kelsey, Patrick Mahomes, Josh Downs, Sam Donald, Daniel Jones.
55:44So I have as many quarterbacks as I have running backs which kind of feels to me the area where I need to pay some immediate attention here.
55:53And the running backs at the top of ADP are Chris Rodriguez who obviously has foot surgery, is expected to be back
56:00early training camp but he started to fall in ADP.
56:03We're deep into the 13th round here. We're down to pick 151 and his ADP is 134th overall.
56:08Isaiah Pacheco, Woody Mark, Zach Charbonnet, Stefan Diggs, Dylan Samson.
56:12There's other players I like in this range but I'm going to scoop value on Chris Rodriguez because I believe that he's
56:19going to have a decent role with the Jags this year.
56:22I do buy into the Tootin stuff and I do think Tootin's going to have a great season but at RB46 the
56:29opportunity cost is just so low and Chris Rodriguez like all the reports seem to expect him to be out there and
56:36doing fine and getting 15 picks 16, 17 picks of ADP value.
56:40I'm always looking for a little bit of a scoop like that.
56:43Andrew, would you have taken Chris Rodriguez in this kind of range if you weren't worrying about the tight end position?
56:50I think I probably would have gone in the Tyrone Tracy, Dylan Samson department.
56:54I like those guys talking about these certain tiers of late round running backs.
56:59I know I mentioned earlier in rounds 8-9 White, Jonathan Mrooks, and RJ Harvey as these discounted pass catchers.
57:05Tyrone Tracy can catch passes. Former wide receiver, convert to running back, Dylan Samson.
57:09We saw him catch passes last year for the Cleveland Browns and that's not really Quinchon Judkins' strength as a receiver out of the backfield.
57:17So I think that's probably the direction I would have gone in because no matter what happens to Chris Rodriguez, they can say whatever they want.
57:25The guy does not catch passes. Like total zero in the passing game.
57:29So in certain types of game scripts, I think I do lean a little bit more towards the Tracys and the Dylan Samson's.
57:37And I don't think Samson will fall back to me.
57:40He's near the top of the queue for ADP.
57:43But if he fell back to me, I would be pretty part.
57:46Well, there's a reason why I didn't mention his name.
57:50I didn't want to jinx myself, but now that you've spent a good part of a minute, minute and a half just
57:57toasting Dylan Samson, it would only be fair for me to weigh in as I'm two picks out and sure that he will be picked any second now.
58:05But yeah, I just don't believe Todd Munkin, an offensive coordinator who rotated Derrick Henry and Justice Hill consistently isn't going to,
58:12in a worst offense, rotate Dylan Samson, Quinshawn Judkins, Dylan Samson makes it back to me.
58:17Finally, the look of the board comes my way.
58:20An RB 49, that is just an absolute no-brainer.
58:2329 spots behind Quinshawn Judkins and ADP. Judkins goes at the top of the fourth round and I'm getting Dylan Samson 10 rounds later.
58:31For all the kind of things that you said, yeah, they're going to be in pass-heavy scripts for Browns this year.
58:37They are not going to be the defensive force that they've been in previous years.
58:42They've got quarterbacks who aren't highly accurate downfield but will be able to get the ball out fairly quick in Munkin's system.
58:49Dylan Samson is just a good bet for that kind of play.
58:53I wrote up Dylan Samson in my Best Values on FFPC article that was on the site a few days ago and
59:00he's somebody that I'm going to continue to target and it will come at the expense of a fade on Quinch on
59:07Judkins just because I think Judkins is fine but I don't think the gap between them should be this big.
59:13So now I have a running back room of Brees Hall, Tuba Hubbard, Jalen Warren, Chris Rodriguez, Dylan Samson.
59:19I'm feeling like the board's pretty open to me.
59:22There's nowhere which I need to go immediately. I'm done at the quarterback position.
59:26I'd like to add at least another tight end, potentially two more tight ends but we're in round 14.
59:32I can afford to go a couple more wide receivers as well.
59:36Andrew, you're sitting here with Jameer Gibbs, Rashley Rice, Javon A.
59:39Williams, Jalen Waddell, Terry McLaurin, Jaden Daniels, Carnell Tate, Rashaad White, RJ Harvey, Malik Willis, Xavier Worthy, Greg Dorsuch, AJ Barner.
59:46Since you last picked, Dalton Schultz, Pat Fry, I think I got to helm or went off board.
59:52Are you going back to the tight end well or is there a running back wide receiver quarterback taking your fancy here?
59:58I think I got to go back to the tight end well because as you guys can see in the draft board,
60:05the guy picking in front of me or behind me at the, he only has one tight end.
60:11He only has Kyle Pitts. So I want to make sure that I'm getting my preferred tight end of choice because, you
60:18know, yeah, maybe I'd like another quarterback at some point, but clearly the weakest part of my roster is tight end and
60:25that is reflective of the players that I have and is also reflective of the amount of draft capital I've spent.
60:32So here's a player that I really like and I think is kind of being penalized because of a second round pick
60:39that this team made, but he might not really have a big role in year one.
60:44So I'm going to go with Terrence Ferguson for the, I had it all cute.
60:48I was like, I'm going to get this thing loaded in because Terrence Ferguson before they were rumored to draft a receiver
60:55before they drafted Max Claire, Terrence Ferguson was one of these guys I was circling as, oh, this is going to be a fun late round tight end.
61:04And if my thesis or projection about Devontae Adams is correct and you know, he gets banged up or is not as
61:11effective and Terrence Ferguson takes on a bigger role in this offense, well, I think that that's worth a 15th round pick
61:18when you're attached to Sean McVay and Matthew Stafford.
61:21Yeah, I mean, you're back of the clock now, so I'll let you make sure you queue the person that you want
61:28here in round 15, but I'm finding it a little bit difficult to let go of my Max Claire love from the draft.
61:35I really wanted him to land with the Ravens.
61:38He felt like the perfect guy to kind of ultimately succeed from Mark Andrews over the years and be in place for
61:45that and there were lots of situations where he could have landed and I would have been very excited about him, but
61:52instead he lands in a four-way tight end committee and Terence Fogues, for all the reasons you mentioned, looks like a great breakout option.
61:59With your round 15 pick, you draft a guy that some people say could sit for a long time behind Kirk Cousins,
62:06but I'm quite strong in the belief that Fernando Mendoza will be out there by October of the latest.
62:12When are you projecting Fernando Mendoza to be the starting quarterback for the Raiders?
62:16I think October is right and I know that again, go check it into the Athletic.
62:22They released a big article kind of highlighting all the main takeaways from off-season activities and it talked about how the Raiders
62:28really want Kirk Cousins to be the starter. Aiden O'Connell is ahead of him in OTAs.
62:34They're slow playing this guy. I think that that's all fine in theory and I think that week one it probably will
62:40be Kirk Cousins as the starter but I saw Kirk Cousins play last year.
62:45I think that he's hit the last level of his game.
62:48I think that the arm strength is sapped because of the Achilles injury.
62:52He can't push the ball outside the numbers anymore.
62:55Can't push the ball downfield. I think that Raiders fans, Raiders coaches are going to get sick of Kirk Cousins.
63:02Hey, let's get the guy that we drafted number one overall.
63:05You just look at the track record. Joe's talking about this on the tailgate show, I believe, and some of the fantasy pro shows.
63:13The number one overall pick doesn't sit for very long.
63:16These guys play sooner rather than later. Especially with Willis, I have Daniels.
63:20If Mendoza can be a second half guy for me, that's fine for my roster.
63:25Yeah, I'm with you. I think that I've let Garticle, they talked about how part of the idea was that he would
63:31learn with the rookies, which is why they put him as a quarterback three in a lot of drills, and it would be good for his development.
63:40So I was not overly concerned by that. They've talked about how they want the path for him to become the QB1
63:47to start the season is via preseason games and how he plays and how he reacts in those ones.
63:53So I'm not going to stress about that whatsoever.
63:56I was a little thrown there because Woody Marks had made it 30 picks past his ADP, and I'm not some big
64:03Woody Marks fan, but look, I'm going to scoop value in these drafts if I can build a construction which nobody else has got.
64:10I'm going to be interested in that. Instead, now I'm looking at Jonah Coleman, Aaron Rodgers, K Dotton, Jacoby Brissett, Brian Robinson,
64:17Antonio Williams, Cater and Allen, Braylon Allen, and it's not the most desirable place to be.
64:22I've got 10 seconds left here. I'm going to take my third tight end in K Dotton and feel like that probably will solidify that room for me.
64:31Brock Bowers, Travis Kelsey, K Dotton. It means I'm not necessarily having to worry about it.
64:36It gives me a little more team correlation with Mechareg, Buka and K Dotton.
64:40And it feels okay. Don't feel too worried about anything at this point in the draft or continue to ping pong running
64:47back wide receiver picks probably for the rest of the way here.

65:38Andrew, we're rounding out into the last quarter of this draft.
65:41You said it that you've been mock drafting today, you were prepping $125 entry.
65:46It's not something you can just throw in and auto draft and forget about it.
65:50How is this playing out compared to your ideal scenario?
65:54I think for the most part, I would say three out of the four positions I feel really good about.
66:00I know that I was going to be punting quarterback and tight end a little bit.
66:05The first five picks, I knew I was going to be doing a combination of running backs and wide receivers.
66:11Rashi Rice was probably going to be on my team.
66:14I was getting him in a lot of the mock drafts that I was doing.
66:19So expecting the rice combo and I want to hear, Tom, what your favorite dish is with rice.
66:25I'm a big chicken rice guy, but I like to hear your thoughts as well for your preferred rice combo.
66:31Tight end is just obviously where I did not do it the right way.
66:35I would have, I guess, and this actually was something I was running into the mocks too.
66:41It was, do I sacrifice at 702 and pull somebody up?
66:44Because that was going to be the option because there was nobody there that was going to be like, it's a big tear break.
66:52Yeah, there's a big tear break there. So for me, it was, and that's honestly going to be a major shift in
66:59terms of how this team does is if Carnell Tate is a top five rookie wide receiver and delivers like one of
67:06these top end rookie receiver seasons, then I'm not going to care that I missed out on the tight ends potentially.
67:12But if he's just okay, and I'm just always playing catch up a tight end, well, that's going to be where I
67:19made the mistake in the draft at that 702 spot going with Carnell Tate instead of reaching for a tight end because
67:26honestly, like if you had told me I had to take like an Isaiah likely there, I don't think I would have,
67:33I wouldn't like, okay, like I can do that.
67:36Like I don't like had any major reservations about that, but I wanted to see how the draft board shook out and
67:43to be honest, it didn't surprise me that we saw a tight end run like this.
67:48I knew that it was possible but I thought I would try to push it and sometimes, Tom, you fly too close
67:55to the sun, man, and you get burned. Yeah, I mean, it happens, doesn't it?
68:00It's not been something that you've not been able to recover from, being able to triple dip with Dulcich, Barna, and Ferguson in the way you did.
68:08I think that's the way to recover from these runs.
68:11I've seen plenty of drafts on FFPC, like the $35 Super Flex one which we did, I've been in plenty of others
68:18where you see people dominate one position, really try to bully one position strongly and typically it's the running back position more
68:25than wide receiver this year, but they'll take four or five running backs in their first six picks, but then for the
68:32next seven or eight picks, it's absolutely harming the position which you've been left behind that.
68:37I think this year ADP doesn't feel overly correct in some ways.
68:41It feels like quarterbacks are being pushed up too high, that range from, and you can see it in this draft where I took Daniel Jones, QB 24.
68:50Between him and Brock Purdy who went QB 11, we're only talking like three, four rounds, like the race to fill up your quarterback position.
68:58I've never seen anything quite like it, but quarterback position, tight end premium obviously forces so many of these guys up to
69:05a level where we wouldn't normally take him, but you're into round 11 and we've had 21 quarterbacks off the board and
69:11by the end of round 11, 20 tight ends, so it's a really tricky proposition, but since your last pick, it went
69:18David Njoku, Jalen Naylor, Jovan Jennings, Tyler LJ, Woody Marks, Kaye Dotton as my Titan 3, Evan Ingram who's had plenty of
69:25positive buzz coming out of Broncos training camp and I tweeted the other day that I think that even as somebody who
69:32was an Evan Ingram hater last year and thought the price was very much wrong on him, at a certain point at
69:39Titan 31 the value starts to come back, Jerry Judy, Aaron Rodgers as QB 30 in the back of round 15, Antonio
69:46Williams around Flournoy, Jonah Coleman, Trey Harris, Colby Parkinson, and then I took Calvin Ridley as wide receiver 69, somebody that last
69:53year was one of my guys I felt pretty good about, it didn't pan out but I had Ben Gretch from Stealing
70:00Signals on my channel the Fantasy Sanctuary last week and we were drafting over here on FFPC and we both got to
70:07a point where we didn't want to name a player who really wanted to fall to us and it was Calvin Ridley
70:14and both of us have this argument that wide receiver 69, the downside just there is none.
70:19If the Titans are a functional offense then Calvin Ridley has the potential to be wide receiver 3 without too much competition
70:26I know some people like Elikaio Mana some people like Kamil Dike but Calvin Ridley is going to be given that opportunity
70:33because of the contract they gave him and because he's got that experience and Cam Wall could do with that experience so I'm happy to take him there.
70:42Jordan James Jacoby Brissett Tank Dell AD Mitchell another absolute camp hype steam machine goes in round 16 I think that we'll
70:49be looking at at least a round rise in ADP over the next month.
70:53Dijon Stribling and then Andrew you ended up with Eli Stowers before Marshawn Lloyd and George Helani went off at the turn
71:00and then Brian Robinson how do you feel about that turn how did it play out for you versus what you'd hoped would fall to there?
71:08To be honest I didn't really know exactly how I wanted to approach this round.
71:13Eli Stowers to me is one of these wildcard tight ends rare.
71:17It wouldn't surprise me if he has like a total redshirt tight end year again coming in as a much more of
71:24a receiver than a blocking tight end in any capacity Dallas Goddard is still there but when you punt tight end like
71:31I did you gotta take shots on someone like this where it could be a total zero but what if Eli Stowers is just that good at football?
71:40He's just that good as a receiver and Dallas Goddard gets banged up and he becomes the focal point of the Eagles
71:46like again very low percentile chance that happens but I need one of these tight ends to hit and drastically beat their
71:53ADP and who are players that tend to do that more often than not are rookies right?
71:59so I think he fits what my roster needs for tight end upside It's so easy to create an upside case for
72:06Eli Stowers it's just as simple as Dallas Goddard's old Dallas Goddard gets banged up and Eli Stowers plays in the area
72:13of the field where the Eagles seem to be prioritizing getting players who can play in the middle of the field and
72:20forcing Jalen Hurts into doing that more often than he's done so previously Jake Sealy of Athletic has done a bunch of
72:26shows with us this offseason and talked about how Jalen Hurts is okay throwing to the middle of the field he just
72:33doesn't do it enough it's not that he's bad so yeah it takes no imagination for me to see Eli Stowers hitting
72:40in this format After that Sean Watson QB 32 Zachariah Branch Mason Taylor Sean Tucker Malik Washington I took Isaac Teslar 6
72:47touchdowns 16 catches last year there's a lot of talk about how he needs to be a more polished player in a
72:54variety of things what kept him off the field last year but he's the clear wide receiver 3 for the Lions and
73:01I'm happy to take him as wide receiver 75 Jake Tongas Justice Hill Debo Samuel Kamani Vidal Mike Washington Jaden Blue I'm
73:08a couple of picks away I think I'm probably at least one more running back away from feeling pretty good about what
73:15I've got the top of ADP it is Catron Allen then we've got Nicholas Singleton Emmanuel Wilson Demon Claiborne and Demon Claiborne
73:22is the guy I'm going to take Andrew it feels like over the last week on Fantasy Pro's podcast feed it's been
73:29non-stop Demon Claiborne hype I edit a lot of different podcasts that have a lot of different hosts on but I don't
73:36think I've heard you talk about Demon Claiborne is he somebody that you're into as a sleeper I think I do like
73:43Nicholas Singleton a little bit more if you want to kind of compare their situations where two day three rookie running backs
73:50going to backfields that I think are not super super established with four veterans combined between Jones Mason Pollard and Spears where
73:57all those guys are going to be free agents after the season so there's like no commitment really from either team now
74:04obviously O'Connell has a relationship with Jones and Mason they were on the team last year and he's the same head coach
74:10whereas the Titans have a whole new regime coming in so I think that maybe that's I lean a little bit more
74:17maybe Singleton has an opportunity under a new staff Claiborne to me I didn't love him that much as a prospect I
74:24thought that he was more of a one-trick pony obviously can break away I was concerned that he might end up again
74:31not for like attitude issues or whatever but similar to and I don't know why his name is escaping me the running
74:38back the Cowboys took last year in the fourth round I don't know why I can't remember his name we already talked
74:45about him Jaden Blue Tom yeah Jaden Blue like that's what I'm afraid of like in terms like special teams is he
74:52going to be able to contribute as a pass blocker is he going to be active on game days like that's what's
74:59concerning me about Claiborne I think the upside cases obviously you know Aaron Jones old tested free agency came back Jordan Mason
75:06last year had the chance to be the way the wire hero to be the guy who won leagues but was pretty
75:13damn awful Claiborne has the speed to be interesting in this offense if Kyler Murray can keep this offense moving the ball
75:20then they can be just a more potent unit in general but yeah I'm not saying D1 Claiborne can be an absolute
75:27league winner but running back 65 I'm quite happy with that Ray Davis went off the board after that followed by Darnell
75:34Mooney Keon Coleman Christian Kirk Jeremy Bernard again another wide receiver who's had a positive offseason and Andrew lays down the hammer
75:41with Mike Gusecki his Titan 5 the Titan 37 off the board you relax now the purple the Titan room or pink
75:48as it is on a fantasy pros draft assistant feels a lot better yes it feels much better Gusecki I think that
75:54this is a decent format look if T Higgins are they going to both play 17 full games because they don't we
76:01know Gusecki can do when one of those guys misses time so that's that's really all I got for Gusecki okay you're
76:08back on the clock 19th round you'll have one more pick after this one obviously the Titan position now is no longer
76:15a drastic need you've got five running backs in Jameer Gibbs Javon A Williams Rashad White RJ Harvey and Brian Robinson your
76:22wide receiver rooms Rashi Rice Jalen Waddell Terry McLaurin Connell Tate and Xavier Worthy with 20 seconds left on the clock Andrew
76:29who are you taking here I am taking a guy I just talked about I guess again I can't not take Nicholas
76:36Singleton when I talked him up and talked about ducked down on Demon Claiborne so put my money where my mouth is
76:43I'll take Nicholas Singleton and he'll be the reason I win the 400k and not you because you took the Ewan Claymore
76:50instead that's alright I mean if you win the 400k and I spent the whole time talking about your draft picks and
76:57telling you to draft four or five tight ends you can just fly me out to America and we'll have a weekend
77:04of drafting and drinking beer next year so after that pick Tyreek Hill Jalen Noel Rashad Bateman wide receiver 83 I'm two
77:11picks away my roster Brock Bowers Drake London Brees Hall Emekarag Booker Devontae Adams Chuba Hubbard Jalen Warren Travis Kelsey Patrick Mahomes
77:18Josh Down Sam Donald Daniel Jones Chris Rodriguez Dylan Samson Kedon Calvin Ridley Isaac Teslar and Demon Claiborne there's a lot of
77:25interesting players at this point in the draft I've got six running backs six wide receivers I think I'm probably going to
77:31end up splitting things fairly evenly between them I don't want to jinx myself just yet but there's a bunch of younger
77:38guys who I do like guys like Ted Hurst guys like Chris Bell guys I mean you could even say Brandon Ayuk
77:45at this point in the draft starts becoming a value but I'm going to take Cooper Cup to stack with Sam Darnold
77:52I think a wide receiver 86 everything's baked into this price and yes with Devontae Adams and Cooper Cup and Calvin Ridley
77:59on the same team there's probably there's high floors rather than super insane ceilings for two out of those three picks I
78:06still believe in the ceiling of Devontae Adams but Cooper Cup I think is still going to be a fine play next
78:13year you know he doesn't have what he used to have but if Seahawks regress defensively which defensive regression hits so often
78:20for teams teams who have deep playoff runs and it's so inconsistent year to year then perhaps that increases the passing volume
78:27that forces things to Cooper Cup perhaps we see the running game just not click because Jaderion Price is a rookie because
78:34George Helani is a former undrafted free agent because Zach Charbonnet might not be out there for the first 10 11 12
78:41weeks and it's not a bet I would be willing to make four rounds earlier but in round 19 to give me
78:48that little playoff stack I'm willing to make that bet and at the heart of it you know best ball still we
78:55want to be cognizant of the fact that we're looking to stack this is a 94 person final 96 person final so
79:02those little edges that we can gain if Cooper Cup goes out and puts up two touchdowns and Sam Darnold passes for
79:09four touchdowns that week then I will be a very happy boy the structure of this tournament for anyone who's made it
79:15this far and isn't familiar after week 14 the top two teams progress then after week 15 the top two have a
79:22pod of 12 progress and then after week 16 three teams progress into the finals so you don't have to run entirely
79:29perfect in this contest not like some places where you have to run one of 12 but it's still going to be
79:36an uphill battle and even making the final doesn't guarantee you a massive prize unless you finish in the top five Andrew
79:43with one pick left to go do you have a strong lean where you might be spending this do you think it's
79:50more likely to be tight end running back wide receiver I think I'm going wide receiver I haven't drafted a single wide
79:57receiver since I took Xavier Worthy in the 11th round because I've been just like hitting drafted five tight ends since that
80:04happened drafted a couple late round running backs that I like a third quarterback so I think receiver is the direction I'm
80:11gonna go in and actually I don't even really like a ton of running backs that are even left I pulled up
80:18my rankings here and I think Emmanuel Wilson was like the last guy I had ranked in that particular cheat sheet just
80:25based on what how many players it captured whereas there are a couple receivers here that I do like as much as
80:32you as much as you can like a 20th round pick essentially there are a couple guys that fit my build the
80:39fantasy pros ECR and draft assistant is is is I mean I think Brandon Iuk's agent is behind the draft assistant right
80:46now because 60% of the experts are saying Iuk is the pick here I mean I have commanders players I don't know
80:52if you are gonna take a shot on Iuk again look it's no I'm out on Iuk I mean we talked about
80:59this a couple of weeks ago when we drafted in the super flex contest but like Deonna Johnson is out here doing
81:06workout videos and Brandon Iuk is out here just you know shouting go commanders and trying and calling the 49ers all kind
81:13of names like for me I don't see a world where Brandon Iuk gets onto the field and is overly productive to
81:20the point that I want to build around that I think I understand why other people do but there's just other picks
81:27which I can make which I'm more excited about like this one which is drafting Elijah Surratt as my 20th round pick
81:34as wide receiver 89 reports out of Ravens training camp was that both Elijah Surratt and Jacoby Lane had a really strong
81:41session both of them did well Elijah Surratt caught his beautiful 50 yard bomb from Lamar Jackson one day when Lamar was
81:48on the run and Surratt was somebody who I loved going into the draft I thought they deserved to go ahead of
81:55Jacoby Lane it's a little confusing still why he didn't but I'm all in on Elijah Surratt and to come out of
82:02this draft without a single Baltimore Raven player would have felt very disappointing to me because of a half fantasy like look
82:09I'm not reaching for Ravens players ahead of ADP but I want to be a cheer on guys I like and particularly
82:16in higher stakes so my draft ends Brock Bowers Drake London Brees Hall and McRae Buka Devontae Adams Chuba Hubbard Jalen Warren
82:23Travis Kelsey Patrick Mahomes Josh Downs Sam Donald Daniel Jones Chris Rodriguez Dylan Sampson K.Darton Calvin Ridley Isaac Teslar Demon Clayborne Cooper
82:30Cup and Elijah Surratt I feel pretty pleased with how this played out I've got some little bits of week 17 correlation
82:36in there I've got plenty of little stacks like Kelsey and Mahomes Donald and Cooper Cup and Daniel Jones and Josh Downs
82:43didn't have to force any of that let's say there's a few little week 17 bringbacks sprinkled in there and construction wise
82:50this feels quite nice to me finishing up with three quarterbacks six running backs eight wide receivers and three tight ends I
82:57feel good about where I allocated my picks the only kind of area I'll look at potentially is maybe I didn't need
83:04to take Daniel Jones quite where I did and I could have waited on my third quarterback to get somebody like Khalil
83:11Shakir Jalen Coker Keaton Mitchell Tyrone Tracy maybe one of those guys I could have possibly pushed Daniel Jones Andrew before you're
83:18back on the clock give me your cliff notes on how I performed in this $125 draft I mean I like your
83:25team a lot I thought that of course I think what stood out to me when you had the we got the
83:32Mahomes Kelsey stack I where you got Mahomes too because you went with the late round quarterback approach because Mahomes is your
83:39QB one correct correctly yeah and he was QB 14 in the draft yeah yeah I mean I know like ADP we
83:46try to be as accurate as we can and creating these drafts and that just seems like there's no way that he's
83:53going to finish like as QB 14 especially when it's like probably points per game I think that he's a he's going
84:00to finish as a top 12 quarterback at worst unless this knee injury is super devastating I'm on the clock now I
84:07got to make my actually no I'm not on the clock I you've one more pick away yes soon please just take
84:14so I don't have to do it so Andrew's team Jameer Gibbs Rushdie Rice Javante Williams Jalen Waddle Terry McLaurin Jaden Daniels
84:20Carnell Tate Rashad White RJ Harvey Malik Willis Xavier Worthy Greg Dulcich AJ Barna Terence Ferguson Fernando Mendoza Eli Stowers Brian Robinson
84:27Mike Sikki Nicholas Singleton three quarterbacks six running backs five wide receivers and five tight ends Andrew is it a Brandon Ayuk
84:34commander's party look 45% of the experts agree that Brandon Ayuk is the pick although I am also looking at Pap Ryan
84:41I think he's kind of interesting here and I kind of think Michael Penix is interesting too I mean look Tua is
84:48one hit away I mean we know like he's not necessarily built for 17 games so that all being said I'm going
84:55to trust the experts here with Brandon Ayuk and hope that he goes with the commanders and I hope that I get
85:02some sweet sweet sweet CLD and maybe he'll not be the guy that we hope he's not so yeah I mean I
85:09agree like wide receiver 93 second to last pick like the penultimate pick of the draft it kind of seems a bit
85:16wild the team behind you rounds out their draft with their titan free Charlie Kohler after only having Kyle Pitts for much
85:23of a draft and I know that really you were just taking Brandon Ayuk so the fantasy pros draft wizard would give
85:30you a nicer grade you get a B Andrew let's dive in and take a look at your full analysis for this
85:37one how do you feel about the B grade just off the top were you expecting higher I think with what I
85:44did at tight end I don't think it would be right if I got an A grade because I didn't play the
85:51board the best way it was capable we talked about it a little bit during the show where Carnell Tate was the
85:57pick in the seventh round that kind of changed the trajectory of how I was approaching the draft if I'd gone with
86:04Isaiah likely there or pulled up another tight end and drafted a receiver instead of some of those other tight ends in
86:11the range that I drafted them I think that it probably would have changed differently but I'm looking and seeing Tom what
86:18was the team what was your team name uh it's coming home which you know given I don't actually watch the world
86:25cup or soccer okay it's just you know it was more me winning it all but yeah I'm surprised to see I'm
86:32projected for fewer points than yourself that has to be a devastating inaccuracy all right so this one is mine the expert
86:39opinions on my draft so obviously Andrew Erickson loves my draft the most which basically happens every single time I do this
86:46and if it doesn't happen then something clearly went wrong where I was not drafting wasn't feeling like myself but we can
86:53check to see your team too specifically with the expert opinions if I just change this to here we go let's go
87:00to it's coming home click on that should be able to see your team and see all right so you got a
87:07c plus Tom from the draft analyzer and the expert opinions are Andy Barron's gave you a b to that uh Andrew
87:14Erickson I gave you a d plus according to the to the expert opinions if you want to log off now I
87:21totally understand I can take us home through the rest of the this this this won't be stood for this is uh
87:28sabotage we're gonna have to see like this is something that you're gonna have to we're gonna screenshot this and then when
87:35you take home the 400k you're gonna be like mmm d plus huh too bad put it on my fridge it's gonna
87:41stay there I'm this this one hurts Andrew I thought we were friends but look you can't win them all look jmark
87:4885 in the chat I'm just gonna segue briefly into his questions I know how important these trade questions are to people
87:55in a 10 team keeper 10 team 10 keeper half ppr one qb league only two running backs of judkins and montgomery
88:02players we've kind of talked about a bit today at wide receiver I have london alave flowers wilson adunze and more one
88:09team has cook hampton williams and henderson and is weak at wide receiver another team has haul on the trade block what
88:16trade would you target the one that kind of stands out to me andrew there is I would probably be willing to
88:23move adunze for breeze hall and see if you could get that done straight up I think that adunze I'd actually have
88:30a little bit higher in dynasty rankings than breeze hall but I'd be willing to do it because of how strong you
88:37are at wide receiver does anything else stand out to you there andrew I like hall in dynasty as weird as that
88:44sounds because he's a jet and you never feel comfortable about having jets long term however it seems like they're at least
88:51probably one year away from dropping a 2027 rookie quarterback into a infrastructure outside the coaching which we know obviously plays a
88:58big role but personnel wise I like what the jets have on the offensive side of the football and I think breeze
89:05hall should be in line for a decent if not strong season whereas adunze yes we know at the beginning of last
89:12year when he was healthy he was the clear-cut number one wide receiver for the chicago bears it was dominating banged up
89:19his foot we don't know what the longevity with his foot is going to be foot injuries can be really tricky and
89:25we also know that his head coach and his in the first draft he was in drafted two skill position players so
89:32it's very possible that adunze is just going to be a top 10 draft pick which is highly regarded in dynasty but
89:39remains the number three option on his offense even if it's an offense that we really like so that's why I think
89:46you can get a lot for adunze because he has the draft capital and he's in a good situation infrastructure wise but
89:53I would also rather have hall and I think that they're probably ranked close enough where this deal can probably get done
90:00you don't need to add oh like throwing an extra third round like I think you can just kind of make the
90:07deal you don't need to like sugarcoat it or anything yep and obviously if you want more dynasty chat go and check
