A.J. Brown

PositiveProjection20:00

A.J. Brown should be ranked closer to a top 12 fantasy wide receiver based on usage standpoint despite being ranked outside the top 20; he has a great matchup against the Chicago Bears on Thursday night where he'll face Jalen Johnson for the majority of routes. If he had caught the 60-yard touchdown pass, he'd be consensus top 15. The speaker is not wavering on A.J.B. this week and thinks he should be started more often than not as a top 15 play.

Insight page
NegativeRole22:00

A.J. Brown's ball tracking looked broken in his first game back after missing since week one; he hadn't played since week one and may need multiple weeks to get right. The speaker was spooked by not just the hands but the ball tracking. However, against the Bears this week, the matchup is great and Jalen Johnson is not a good cornerback anymore, so A.J. Brown is expected to win that matchup.

Insight page

Amari Cooper

NegativeProjection1:21

Ranked fourth among wide receivers in Week 7 ECR according to FantasyPros half-PPR rankings.

Insight page

Brandin Cooks

PositiveMatchup39:30

Brandon Cooks might be the number one wide receiver for the San Francisco 49ers against the Falcons, who have been the biggest pass funnel defense in the league this year. Even if Christian Kirk is active in his first game back, Cooks would be ranked ahead of Kirk, though it wouldn't surprise if Kirk was more the go-to guy.

Insight page
PositiveValue39:42

Puka Nacua ranks Brandin Cooks ahead of Christian Kirk in Week 7 despite Kirk's return from injury, citing the 49ers' matchup against the Falcons, who have been the biggest pass funnel defense in the league this year; Cooks is the preferred start in Kirk's first game back.

Insight page

CeeDee Lamb

NegativeProjection1:21

Ranked fifth among wide receivers in Week 7 ECR according to FantasyPros half-PPR rankings.

Insight page

Chris Olave

NegativeProjection1:24

Ranked eighth among wide receivers in Week 7 ECR according to FantasyPros half-PPR rankings.

Insight page

Christian Kirk

NegativeRole39:47

Puka Nacua notes that in Christian Kirk's first game back from injury, Cooks is ranked ahead of him; however, Nacua acknowledges it wouldn't surprise him if Kirk was more the go-to guy, suggesting uncertainty about Kirk's immediate role and target share upon return.

Insight page
NegativeRole39:50

Christian Kirk is returning from injury and in his first game back, it wouldn't surprise if he was more the go-to guy for the 49ers than Brandon Cooks, though Cooks would still be ranked ahead of Kirk.

Insight page

Christian Watson

NegativeProjection1:21

Ranked sixth among wide receivers in Week 7 ECR according to FantasyPros half-PPR rankings.

Insight page
PositiveDepth Chart5:43

The number one receiver for Green Bay; just so good. Watson is the clear WR1 in the Packers offense ahead of Matthew Golden and Tucker Craft.

Insight page
NegativeProjection6:12

Watson ranks second to Matthew Golden in target share on the Packers despite being a top-tier receiver; Puka Nacua ranks him at 8 versus ECR's 6, placing him a couple spots below consensus. The concern centers on Josh Jacobs' potential impact: if the Packers throw significantly less due to increased run volume, receivers seeing lower overall volume could be hurt more than Golden, who leads the team in target share. Watson's consistency has lagged Golden's over recent weeks, making him more vulnerable to game script changes.

Insight page

Drake London

NegativeProjection1:24

Ranked seventh among wide receivers in Week 7 ECR according to FantasyPros half-PPR rankings.

Insight page

Emeka Egbuka

PositiveUsage31:00

Emeka Egbuka received 16 targets last week and in three full games with Jalen Daniels has seen 29 targets, which ranks top five. Though he's only caught 15 of them (51.7% catch rate), he should have scored two touchdowns last week as Jalen Daniels missed him. He's the number one target in the offense and faces the Carolina Panthers in an in-division matchup expected to be back and forth. The speaker is chasing the volume and not afraid of the Panthers matchup.

Insight page
PositiveProjection32:30

Emeka Egbuka has averaged only 6.6 yards per catch and 3.4 yards per target in Jalen Daniels' three starts. The Buccaneers' offense feels very constricted with Jalen Daniels at quarterback, which is an issue for Egbuka. While the pass volume and target volume have been great, he's not turning that into a lot of yardage. He's also scored a touchdown each of his last two games but had a bad game with drops.

Insight page

Isaiah Likely

NegativeRole3:11

Knows where to go with the football; the offense runs through Malik Neighbors and Isaiah Likely to a lesser extent. Likely's involvement depends on JJ McCarthy's ability to get him the ball accurately, even on off-target throws.

Insight page

J.J. McCarthy

NegativeProjection3:11

Looked really good last week; young quarterbacks often struggle but McCarthy may have learned something sitting and watching. Things may become easier for him this season. His performance against the fierce Houston Texans defense will be closely analyzed over the next couple of weeks while the Giants are on bye in week eight.

Insight page

Ja'Marr Chase

NegativeProjection1:18

Ranked third among wide receivers in Week 7 ECR according to FantasyPros half-PPR rankings.

Insight page

Jaylen Waddle

NegativeProjection26:43

Jalen Waddle being ranked as a top 30 wide receiver is laughable according to the speaker. He's ranked wide receiver 29 by both analysts, with one noting that it only took one of the worst teams in the NFL (the Broncos) to get him right, and that Bo Nix is expected to look like vintage John Elway this week.

Insight page

Josh Downs

NegativeProjection38:00

Josh Downs has not been good this year by any measure. He's being thrust into an elevated role but hasn't delivered. He had a bad game with a couple of drops and almost scored a touchdown on an end-around but got hit at the one-yard line. The speaker feels silly for ranking Josh Downs as high as he did in draft rankings. Against the Minnesota Vikings defense, which is an absolute gauntlet, the speaker would not chase these 11-12 targets with Josh Downs.

Insight page

Justin Jefferson

NegativeMatchup2:23

Historical context for concern with JJ McCarthy: McCarthy's performance with Jefferson last year was poor, with Jefferson being 'totally nuked' week after week despite being a fantasy WR1 every week. This historical precedent raises risk concerns for Malik Neighbors' production with McCarthy starting in Week 7.

Insight page
NegativeProjection8:54

Jefferson is ranked at 10–12 by the analysts despite ECR placing him at 11 against a bad Colts defense, suggesting the consensus may be overvaluing him based on prior reputation. His season start has been disappointing: he is averaging 64.5 receiving yards per game, only about three yards better than his average last year with J.J. McCarthy at quarterback for the Vikings. This minimal improvement despite a change in quarterback situation raises questions about whether his prior-season expectations are still valid.

Insight page
NegativeProjection9:22

Jefferson is averaging 64.5 receiving yards per game, only about three yards better than his 2023 average with J.J. McCarthy at quarterback for the Vikings; he has one touchdown this year and faces a Colts defense that has been bad overall but relatively strong against outside receivers, with slot receivers exploiting their weaker slot corner position.

Insight page
PositiveMatchup10:11

Despite lackluster production, Jefferson's positive metrics include a career-high 27.6% target share and career-high 79.2% catch rate; the Colts defense is weak all over the board, and with Sauce Gardner out due to a calf injury, there's no defensive back on Indianapolis who can keep up with Jefferson if the Vikings choose to attack vertically.

Insight page
NegativeRole10:21

The Vikings offense has only had nine snaps this season with Jefferson, Jordan Addison, Jordan Mason, and T.J. Hockenson all on the field together, making it difficult to predict whether Minnesota will attack the Colts' weak run defense or build Kyle Murray's confidence by slinging the ball downfield; the offensive approach remains unclear.

Insight page

Keenan Allen

PositiveUsage38:00

Keenan Allen led the team in targets last week and has gotten 29 targets over the last three weeks. He can get open in his sleep even at his advanced age (late 30s). The ranking is based on Tyler Warren probably not playing or playing but not being himself; if Tyler Warren is good to go, both Colts receivers would drop to around top 36.

Insight page

Matthew Golden

NegativeProjection1:24

Ranked ninth among wide receivers in Week 7 ECR according to FantasyPros half-PPR rankings.

Insight page
PositiveProjection5:08

Scored a touchdown in three of his last four games and gone over 100 yards in three of his last four games against a really bad Detroit pass defense. Playing with red-hot Jordan Love, Golden has opened eyes with his performance. Speaker admits he was wrong about the draft pick and likes him this week despite ranking him at WR13 rather than WR1.

Insight page
NegativeDepth Chart5:43

Christian Watson is the number one receiver for Green Bay and is really good; Tucker Craft is also strong. Golden is the second option but has still opened eyes with his performance. Despite the depth chart positioning, Golden's recent production warrants consideration in WR1 range, though speaker ranks him at WR13 with some hesitation.

Insight page
PositiveProjection6:12

Golden leads the Packers in targets this season with 26% target share, ranking first on the team ahead of Christian Watson; his 42% air yard share ranks 12th among all NFL wide receivers. He caught a touchdown last week and should have caught three, representing positive touchdown regression given his reputation as a reliable pass-catcher from Texas. Over his last four weeks, he has recorded at least 100 receiving yards and a touchdown in three games, with four games this season of at least five catches and 95 receiving yards, demonstrating consistency week-to-week that exceeds Christian Watson's production. Against Detroit at Ford Field in a projected high-scoring matchup (54.5–55.5 total), Golden is positioned to bounce back after a down game where he still produced 104 yards, six catches, and a touchdown.

Insight page

Michael Wilson

PositiveProjection22:00

Michael Wilson is averaging 9.7 yards per catch, 5.5 yards per target, and 1.43 yards per route run—all poor efficiency numbers. He's being thrust into a wide receiver one role despite being a number three receiver, and with backup quarterback Jacoby Brissett, it's a bad combination. His target share dropped from 30% (weeks 1-4 with Marvin Harrison Jr.) to 17.5% in the last two weeks, now third on his team behind Trey McBride and Kendrick Bourne. He's ranked 56th among 74 qualifying wide receivers in yards per route run, 49th in catch rate over expectations, and 67th in EPA per target. He's the only player in football with at least 50 targets, no drops, and a negative catch rate over expectation. His air yards also dipped dramatically from 43% to 29.5%. The speaker has him ranked as fringe and doesn't feel great about it despite the volume.

Insight page

Nico Collins

NegativeProjection1:24

Ranked 12th among wide receivers in Week 7 ECR according to FantasyPros half-PPR rankings.

Insight page

Omar Cooper Jr.

PositiveBreakout33:00

Omar Cooper had an eye-opening performance in week six after barely playing in week one (one route, 30-yard catch before injury). He's a well-rounded, quarterback-friendly wide receiver with tough inside-outside versatility, can play in the slot or outside, is really tough after the catch, hard to tackle, and makes acrobatic catches. He won't leapfrog Garrett Wilson as the number one receiver, but with Adnay Mitchell out with a finger injury, he has a great matchup against Miami, which has one of the worst secondaries in the league. He played 82% of snaps in his return and dusted Isaiah Williams as the number two guy.

Insight page
PositiveMatchup34:00

Omar Cooper should have had two touchdowns last week but for a Tim Patrick offensive pass interference call. He had six catches for 103 yards on seven targets. Facing the Miami Dolphins, who have one of the worst secondaries in the league, Cooper can be used in multiple ways, especially after the catch. He's been compared to Debo Samuel coming out (discount Debo, mini Debo). All he has done is make plays, and there's no reason to expect anything different in a juicy matchup at home against Miami.

Insight page

Puka Nacua

NegativeProjection1:14

Ranked as the top wide receiver in Week 7 ECR according to FantasyPros half-PPR rankings, facing Las Vegas.

Insight page
PositiveUsage19:47

Puka Nacua received the most targets by any Patriot this season, signaling Josh McDaniels and Drake May got their alpha number one wide receiver back in the offense and peppered him with targets.

Insight page

Ryan Flournoy

PositiveBreakout38:48

Ryan Flornoy has been a top 24 wide receiver in back-to-back games, coming off a game where he had nine targets, caught seven for 40 yards, and had a fourth quarter touchdown. He played 87% of snaps and plays more than half of his snaps from the slot. He's coming off a season high in snaps, targets, catches, and route participation at 93%. Slot receivers have been a target against the Eagles defense all year long, making him an interesting play on Monday night.

Insight page

Tucker Kraft

NegativeDepth Chart5:43

Really good tight end in the Packers offense alongside Christian Watson and Matthew Golden. Part of a strong receiving corps but not the primary target.

0:00This is an iHeart Podcast. Guaranteed Human. What's up friends and welcome into FantasyPros, the Week 7 Wide Receiver Ranks episode.
0:06I'm Chris Welsh, I've got Pat Fitzmorris and Andrew Erickson with me.
0:10We are going to be going through the top 36 wide receivers according to Fantasy Pros ECR.
0:15We'll go in our three buckets of wide receiver ones, twos and threes.
0:19We might have some deeper plays for you and we will try to have some of the tough conversations around some of
0:26the players that might be difficult to start or some of the guys you're going to want to make sure you're in lineups.
0:33That's what we've got in store. If you guys would like to follow along with us, you can go to Fantasy Pros Ranks, fantasypros.com.com.
0:40You can find everything that we're talking about in half PPR.
0:43You can change the settings if you'd like into PPR standard.
0:46You can look at Dynasty, whatever it is. We've got lots of ranks for you.
0:51But for this, we will be going off of the half PPR, which we'll also be updating throughout the week.
0:57So just keep that in mind. And if some of the names and the numbers we tell you start to change a
1:04little bit, that's because more rankers are going to be submitting their ranks over on ECR.
1:09Gentlemen, we are going to jump into it. Let's look at the big board for the week.
1:14Top 12 wide receivers, and it starts with Puka Nacua going up against Las Vegas.
1:18We've got Jackson Smith and Jigba, Jamar Chase, Amonra St.
1:21Brown, CeeDee Lamb, and Christian Watson. Top 6, 7 through 12.
1:25We've got Drake London, Chris Olave, Matthew Golden, Malik Neighbors, Justin Jefferson, and Nico Collins.
1:29Let's take a little stop for New York for a second to have a caveat.
1:34JJ McCarthy is starting this week. What does that do for both of you?
1:38I'm not even sure if your guys' ranks are relative to Neighbors right now, but he comes in at 10.
1:44Erickson, we'll start with you. How concerned should we be about Malik Neighbors with JJ McCarthy, if at all?
1:50And should any of that concern bump him out of being a wide receiver one?
1:54I think he's on the fringe of the wide receiver one.
1:57I don't think there's a scenario where you could think about benching Malik Neighbors.
2:02We did see at least some positive from JJ McCarthy in the second half of that game against the New Orleans Saints.
2:08Now, the game script kind of lent itself to McCarthy just like dropping bombs downfield and Malik Neighbors and Isaiah just making plays left and right.
2:16So that definitely helped fuel a lot of Neighbors' production in week six.
2:20The other caveat too is the Texans' defense has played better the last couple weeks, but the one bugaboo with them defensively
2:27is they've given up a lot of explosive plays.
2:29Like that has been the one issue with them in the back end specifically.
2:34So it's been better since D'Amico Ryans took over as the play caller.
2:38You have a really tough cornerback matchup with Derek Stingley, potentially matching up a lot with Malik Neighbors.
2:43So there's a lot of risk, right? Because we saw McCarthy last year with Justin Jefferson and it was horrible.
2:49He totally nuked Jefferson week after week after week.
2:52And we kept saying, you got to play this guy as a fantasy wide receiver one every single week.
2:58And then it just, it never panned out. So that's the risk with going with Malik Neighbors as a fantasy wide receiver one.
3:04So I have him 11 right now. I could see an argument moving him down a couple spots, but I don't think
3:11he can fall outside my top 15. I'm willing to at least give JJ McCarthy a shot with a full game plan
3:18built around him against this defense with Malik Neighbors.
3:20Isaiah likely he knows where to go with the football and just a matter of these guys making plays, even if it's off target throws.
3:28So that's kind of my initial read on Malik Neighbors.
3:31And I'm very interested to see how it does play out because we're going to have a couple of weeks to really
3:38break it all down because the Giants are on a bye in week eight.
3:42And I'm sure that there'll be a lot of discussion about McCarthy's performance against the fierce Houston Texans defense.
3:48All right, Fitzy, same thing. Neighbors, is there any type of downgrade that you feel you want to put from James Winston McCarthy?
3:55Is it all just kind of neutral? Like, what do you think this does to Malik Neighbors value?
4:00I mean, we'll talk about, I think, when tight ends, we'll get to like Isaiah likely.
4:05But where are you at on Neighbors? I'm going to feel nervous about it.
4:09No question. And the memories of the JJ McCarthy, Justin Jefferson disconnection of 2025 in my head for that.
4:15But McCarthy did actually look really good last week.
4:18Like, we should probably give him a little grace.
4:20Like, young quarterbacks often struggle. Maybe he's learned something just kind of sitting and watching for a while.
4:26Maybe things are going to become a little easier to him this season.
4:30And, man, Malik Neighbors, three straight games over 100 yards.
4:3311 and 12 catches the last two weeks. 35 targets the last two weeks.
4:37It's clear that the offense runs through him and Isaiah likely to a lesser extent.
4:41But Neighbors is going to be prominently involved. Now he could get 14 targets and catch five of them if JJ McCarthy
4:48does revert to his old form this week. But I think I'm willing to take the chance.
4:53Like, even in an eight-team league, I can't imagine benching Malik Neighbors this week.
4:57Yeah, and I don't think it's anything into necessarily bench or anything like that.
5:02But just as a little caveat, let's talk about a couple other wide receiver ones just in your guys' take.
5:08Matthew Golden. We've got two top nine Green Bay Packers wide receivers with Matthew Golden coming in up against Detroit.
5:14He's wide receiver nine. Erickson, you've got him at 10.
5:17But Fitzy, you've bumped him out of a wide receiver one.
5:20You've got him at 13. So hit us with some Matthew Golden, Fitzy.
5:24What's bringing you? Again, you're not like not starting him or anything like that.
5:28But there's a little bit more hesitation versus some optimism of early rankers.
5:32I do hate being low man on Matthew Golden.
5:35And maybe I should have him ranked ahead of Malik Neighbors, considering that Neighbors is playing with McCarthy and Golden is playing with the red-hot Jordan Love.
5:43Golden has scored a touchdown in three of his last four games.
5:47He's gone over 100 yards in three of his last four games.
5:50The Detroit pass defense has been really bad this season.
5:53But, you know, Christian Watson is really good too.
5:56So is Tucker Craft. I do think Watson is the number one receiver for Green Bay.
6:01Like that guy is just so good. But Golden is really good too.
6:05He has opened eyes with his performance and he's opened my eyes.
6:08I didn't like the Matthew Golden draft pick for the Green Bay Packers.
6:12I freely admit that I was wrong about that.
6:15So, yeah, I like him this week and it's with great reluctance I leave him out of wide receiver one range.
6:21Great. I like how you said that. Erickson, same thing.
6:24Matthew Golden. You've got him at 10, so you're really close into that.
6:28What are your Matthew Golden vibes for this week?
6:31He leads the Packers in targets this season. He is number one on the team in terms of overall target share ahead of Christian Watson.
6:3826 percent. His 42 percent air yard share ranks 12th among all wide receivers in the NFL.
6:44And I think he just got some positive touchdown regression coming his way, right?
6:48He caught a touchdown last week. Should have caught three touchdowns because he was dropping the ball all over the place.
6:54So I think that Jordan Love and them are going to be, especially with a guy like Golden, where that was one of his claims to fame, right?
7:03Coming out of Texas was this dude never drops these like critical passes.
7:07So it was very un-Matthew Golden-like to have that many drops in a game.
7:11And it gets the Detroit guys. This guy's, where's this game being played?
7:15Ford Field? Yeah. There's going to be a ton of points in this game.
7:19You said Coors? You said Coors Field? Coors Field.
7:22Coors Field, right? Coors. Coors Field, Ford Field, the NFL, going to be a shootout.
7:26You can't, the total can't be high enough. 54 and a half, 55 and a half.
7:31Doesn't matter. You take the over every single time you see planes played at Ford Field.
7:36So I think Matthew Golden bounces back after, again, a quote unquote down game last week when he still had 104 yards and six catches and a touchdown.
7:44And he left production on the table. I mean, that's how consistent he has been last four weeks.
7:50He has at least 100 receiving yards and a touchdown.
7:53Or his third game in his last four weeks with 100 yards and a touchdown.
7:57He has four games, at least five catches and 95 receiving yards this season.
8:02So from a consistency standpoint, he has been more consistent week in and week out than Christian Watson has.
8:07So I know I talked about this on the running back show.
8:11If the Josh Jacobs factor does come into play here and the Packers are throwing significantly less, who would that hurt the most?
8:18Probably the receivers that are seeing less volume overall anyway, which could actually hurt Watson maybe a little bit more than Matthew
8:24Golden, who has been the target share leader to start the season.
8:28So that's also why I'm a little bit spots, a couple spots down on Christian Watson versus the ECR, because I have
8:35him at eight where ECR has him up at six.
8:38The other name on this, you know, I'm going to say Fitzy, I think you put this name on here.
8:44So I'd be really curious what you want to talk about with him.
8:48But and I think it does stand out because he's not a top 10 wide receiver and what we know of him.
8:54But Justin Jefferson comes in at ECR 11 going up against the Colts.
8:58Colts, bad defense. So I think there's kind of this generalized, you know, like Colts are bad.
9:03Maybe why is Jefferson down? Is this about Kyler Murray?
9:06And you guys both kind of agree. You've got him at Fitzy's got him at 10.
9:11Erickson, you've got him at 12. So Fitzy, you put Jefferson on here.
9:15So I got to imagine there was something you wanted to hit as far as talking about him and the wide receiver ones.
9:22Just maybe a test of how much we're sticking to our priors with Justin Jefferson.
9:27Like it has not been a great start for him.
9:30He's averaging 64.5 receiving yards per game, which is only about three yards better than what he averaged last year with J.J.
9:36McCarthy and friends at quarterback for the Vikings. Jefferson has one touchdown this year and he's going up against the Colts defense.
9:43Yeah, the Colts have been bad defensively, but they've been pretty good against outside receivers and just getting destroyed by slot receivers
9:50because they've got Sauce Gardner who's not fantastic this year and Traverius Ward, but those guys are better than slot corner Justin Wally.
9:57So it's not a great matchup maybe and Jefferson hasn't been great, but I just have a hard time leaving Justin Jefferson
10:03out of the top 10 based on what we have seen from him over his career.
10:08Like I still have to put him there would not shock me if he had the big game that seems so overdue for him.
10:15Erickson, you have him at 12. So is there you starting to have some hesitation with Jefferson whatsoever?
10:21I mean, it's hard to have like an exact pinpoint of what this Vikings offense actually is, right?
10:26We have seen a total of nine snaps according to the athletics out Lewis when you've had Justin Jefferson, Jordan Addison, Jordan
10:33Mason, and TJ Hawkinson on the field together this season.
10:36Nine snaps. That those are like the focal points of this offense.
10:39So it's hard for me to look at Minnesota and be like, oh, well, they're going to run the ball over a
10:46bad Colts run defense, or they're going to build up Kyle Murray's confidence and they're going to sling it all over the
10:53yard because I don't know if it's, Sauce Gardner's probably not playing in this game, right?
10:57So he's out. He has a calf. He re-injured his calf last week.
11:01So I think that the Vikings can do whatever they want.
11:05It's just dependent on how they want to approach attacking this Colts defense that I think is weak all over the board.
11:11The one positive with Jefferson so far this year, even though the production has kind of been lackluster and targeted on 27.6%
11:18of his routes, that's tying for his career high.
11:21He's also caught a career high 79.2% of his targets.
11:24So I thought Kyle Murray played better in the last game we saw him against the Saints back in week five.
11:30I think they tried to build up his confidence.
11:33And how do you do that? You just throw the ball to 18, right?
11:37Especially against these defensive backs. So moving in the slot, moving to the outside.
11:41I don't think there's anyone on the Colts that can keep up with Jefferson, but it's just a matter of, do they take the pedal off the metal?
11:50How much are the Colts going to push the Minnesota Vikings to keep scoring offensively when Daniel Jones is not going to
11:56be able to do anything against this Brian Flores defense?
11:59So this Vikings game, I'm not, honestly, I'm not getting good read on what they're going to do offensively.
12:05I just know one of these guys is going to probably have a monster game unless it's just like so spread out.
12:12And I think that's obviously worth why you want to start as many Vikings as humanly possible.
12:17All right. Wide receiver two is coming up here in just a second.

13:14Teddero and McMillan at 14, followed by Garrett Wilson, Devonta Smith, George Pickens, Jalen Coker, Tee Higgins, DK Metcalf at 20, Luther
13:21Burden, AJ Brown, Michael Wilson, and Carnell Tate. A couple five-star matchups in here, interestingly enough.
13:26TK Metcalf and Carnell Tate. But let's take a stop at Luther Burden.
13:30ECR wide receiver, 21 going up against the New England Patriots.
13:33And you guys are a little bit split. Erickson, you're on ECR.
13:37Fitzy, you are down. Fitzy, 25. You do not have him as a wide receiver, too.
13:41Talk to us about Luther Burden with Caleb Williams back going up against New England.
13:46I expected a bigger role for Luther Burden this year.
13:49He has played 60% of the Bears' offensive snaps.
13:52I did not expect him to be kind of a part-time player.
13:55And Burden did have eight catches for 95 yards against the Falcons last week, season highs.
14:00But it was, yeah, the first time all year that Burden had had more than 63 yards in a game.
14:06And yet, Burden had a season-low 39% snap share against the Falcons.
14:10And I think he only ran like 18 routes in that game.
14:13So it just, I'm not sure what Ben Johnson is doing there, making Burden sort of a part-time player.
14:19Now, maybe Burden is more involved this week because he is likely not going to draw any coverage from Christian Gonzalez.
14:25It'll be Romo Dunze wearing Christian Gonzalez like a well-tailored suit.
14:29So maybe that helps Luther Burden a lot this week, and I'm too low.
14:33But it could also be a Khalif Raymond week as far as Ben Johnson and his unpredictable game plans go.
14:39Erickson, do you think that's the case? You haven't been 21.
14:42You got him at ECR. Do you think it's Romo Dunze wearing the Christian Gonzalez jacket and Burden opens up a little bit?
14:49Or, I mean, not that your rank is like super aggressive or anything like that.
14:54Where are you at? I think that's probably what I would expect.
14:57More coverage for Gonzalez on Romo Dunze because they just move Luther Burden around the formation so much.
15:03I mean, this guy takes carries out of the backfield.
15:06So considering his deployment from the slot, considering if he's not a full-time player, well, then Gonzalez can't guard him when he's on the sideline.
15:13So it just makes more sense to me that they would be locking up with Romo Dunze.
15:19And I guess I'm not as pessimistic about the role.
15:22Now, it was weird that he only played like less than 50% of the snaps, only ran 18 routes, but he got targeted on eight of them.
15:30Right? Like getting a target on more than 50% of his routes run and he caught all eight of them for 95 yards.
15:37If I'm Ben Johnson, I don't go back and look at that and be like, you know what?
15:42We probably shouldn't play this guy more. Like when he has like 95 receiving yards in that game, because when you look
15:49at the holistic picture of the Bears so far this season, Burden, despite the three different quarterbacks and all the weird different
15:55game scripts they've had, he leads the Bears in targets.
15:58He's number one in yards per route run at 2.3.
16:01He has nine red zone targets, which also leads the team.
16:05He's seen volume as a rusher in almost every single game.
16:08And he has at least four catches in 47 yards in five of the six games played this season.
16:14So I think that the floor is still really high with Luleyburn, given how much involvement he's had, even with a limited route share.
16:21And what if they decide, oh, well, this game you're going to run 80% of the routes?
16:26Because he has been higher at points of the season.
16:29So I think that in Caleb Williams' first game back, the fact that every time or every other time Luleyburn was running
16:36a route, that's exactly where Caleb Williams was going.
16:39I think that suggests, hey, the targets are going to continue to keep going to Luleyburn, especially in a matchup where he's
16:45not going to draw the number one corner from the New England Patriots, in my opinion.

19:04Big rank difference here is A.J. Brown. A.J. Brown comes in at ECR 22.
19:08That's not really the big rank change. It's against you guys.
19:11Fitzy, you've got him at 21, but Erickson 14.
19:14So Erickson higher than Fitz, but higher than ECR by a lot.
19:18We did not see these. These didn't exist. These are hands that I'm showing right now for the podcast listeners from A.J.
19:24Brown last week. So Erickson, did he find his hands?
19:27Yes, I think that he did find his hands.
19:30A guy was knocking off the rust, right? Like this happens all the time when guys come back from their injuries.
19:36Sometimes they ball out. Sometimes they play like crap, like A.J.
19:40Brown did on Sunday against the New York Jets.
19:42But it wasn't for a lack of opportunities. He had 10 targets in that game.
19:47That was the most by any Patriot this season.
19:50So to me, that signals Josh McDaniels and Drake May got their alpha number one wide receiver back in the offense, and they peppered him with targets.
19:58Romeo Dobbs was placed on injured reserve. He's not even a factor in this offense anymore.
20:03More specifically on Thursday night when you're going to see A.J.
20:06Brown matched up with Jalen Johnson for the majority of the routes.
20:10That's a matchup I want to take 10 times out of 10, including on Thursday.
20:14So for me, if A.J. Brown just catches that 60-yard touchdown pass, he's consensus top 15 wide receiver.
20:20And we're not even thinking twice about it. But the fact that, you know, he just didn't squeeze the football or penalizing
20:26him or punishing him as a outside the top 20, when everything that we saw from a usage standpoint suggests he should
20:33be closer to a top 12 fantasy wide receiver in a great matchup against the Chicago Bears.
20:38So I am not wavering on A.J.B. this week.
20:41I think that you have to start him more often than not as a top 15 play.
20:46I do agree. I just it felt very vintage Eagles, those bad, frustrating Eagles matchups where just nothing was going on.
20:52But, you know, the targets were there. The volume was there.
20:56Fitzy, you know, when you put him at 21, again, they're still like starters.
21:00But when you get into the 20s, it's starting to become a question maybe for like, you know, like 10 man leagues
21:06that maybe he's not like a must must starter.
21:09You know, do you share maybe maybe your rank doesn't share your optimism or do you think there's a little bit of question still like that?
21:17From a performance standpoint, it might take him multiple weeks to get right.
21:21I might have to come up on him. I could come up like two to four spots on him.
21:27I was just so spooked by how it wasn't just the hands while she was the ball tracking.
21:32Yeah. I was joking with Jake Seeley about this.
21:35Like his ball tracking looked like eight year old me and Little League in the outfield trying to track fly balls.
21:41Like it was just the radar was broken for A.J.
21:44Brown in his first game back. And I get it.
21:47There's Rusty hadn't played since week one. Maybe that's completely fixed.
21:50And this week against the Bears in the matchup is great.
21:54I don't know what happened to Jalen Johnson. I thought he was like a top five cornerback like two or three years ago.
22:01Like he is not good now. And I expect A.J.
22:04Brown to win that matchup. All right. One more in this range.
22:07Michael Wilson. The thing that has been happening is Michael Wilson getting shut down, getting the focus.
22:13That's why I like Hendrick Bourne a little bit.
22:15But he's been getting the defensive focus. Comes in at ECR 23.
22:19He's going up against the Denver Broncos. You guys are a little bit split.
22:23Fitzy, you're at ECR and Michael Wilson. Can the Cardinals, can Michael Wilson break this defensive focus that ends up just they're trying to shut down two players?
22:32It's McBride and him. And that has taken away all of the excitement we had when we were like, oh, he's just going to be a volume monster.
22:40Can this cycle kind of break this week? You've got him at ECR.
22:44Another instance, as with A.J. Brown, where I'm sort of looking enviously at Erickson's ranking, like maybe maybe that's the way to go here.
22:51Like so much of the boy, and it's still like a low end RB or low end wide receiver to ranking.
22:57But so much of where I have Wilson is just volume based.
23:01It's averaging just under 10 targets a game this season.
23:04Twenty three point seven percent target share. That's all well and good.
23:08But he's averaging nine point seven yards per catch, five point five yards per target and one point four three yards per outrun.
23:15The efficiency numbers. Yuck. It just it feels like a number three receiver is being thrust into a wide receiver one role for his team.
23:22And with the quarterback, Jacoby Brissett, you've probably got a backup quarterback who's being thrust into a starters role.
23:28So it's kind of a bad combination. It's kind of been empty volume lately.
23:32So, yeah, I mean, based on volume, that's why I have him ranked here.
23:36But I don't feel great about it. It's really interesting, too, because like they can't go throw Jalen Brooks out there to do the Marvin Harrison decoy role.
23:45And it like they look so exposed right now in like, oh, you guys clearly needed this decoy wide receiver to run routes.
23:52And then you that opens up your other guys.
23:55And now that they don't have a decoy wide receiver that teams are scared of because Kendrick Bourne doesn't run that.
24:01They just seem kind of lost in that space.
24:04And it's just how they're going to bounce back.
24:06That envious rank that Erickson has is 28. So you've got him as like a mid wide receiver three Erickson.
24:12So talk to us about Michael Wilson, quite a bit lower than ECR for you.
24:171.4 yards per route run, 56 among 74 qualifying wide receivers, 49th in catch rate over expectations, 67th in EPA per target.
24:24That is Michael Wilson, 57% catch rate, 5.5 yards per target each rank in the bottom five of all players with at least 35 targets.
24:31He's the only player in football with at least 50 targets, no drops and a negative catch rate over expectation.
24:37He had a 30% target share weeks one through four when we still had Marv Jr.
24:42running out the routes and taking away coverage, which ranked fifth in the league last two weeks without Marvin Harrison Jr.
24:4817.5%. That's third on his team. So to your point, right, it's more Tray McBride.
24:53It's more Kendrick Bourne. And is that going to change?
24:56I don't know because Michael Wilson's not making the most of his opportunities to suggest that, oh yeah, we should keep featuring
25:02and funneling him the ball when he has not been delivering.
25:06His area, our chairs also dipped dramatically 43% down to 29.5%.
25:09So Patrick Sertan's probably still not going to play in this game.
25:13So there is an opportunity where it's still a decent matchup for him, but just having faith in this Cardinals offense to do the right thing.
25:21Do they ever do the right thing on offense?
25:23I don't think so. I think it's just whenever they throw the ball to Tray McBride and that's about it because everything
25:30else is just like more Bam Knight touches. Like, come on, man.
25:34Like, let's get it loaded and Roderick Dole. So yeah, that's why I'm Michael Wilson fringe for me.
25:39I'll tell you, they do whenever I'm invested against them.
25:42Whenever I say they're going to lose every game, they win the first game.
25:46Whenever I pick the Rams for Survivor, they win.
25:49So yeah, that's the two times they've done something right is against me negatively.
25:53All right. Let's talk about some wide receiver three, some big names that are going to be floating out there that people are going to be asking about.
26:02But before we do, if you're not sure who you should be starting, like some of the wide receivers we're going to
26:08be talking about, and maybe we don't cover your exact scenario, or you wake up late at night, you're like, oh, I
26:15got to have this answered right now. Well, guess what?

26:30A wide receiver you're probably going to be asking about this week, which we're going to talk about in a second.
26:37Jeremy Bernard comes in as wide receiver 25. We've got Jamison Williams, Emeka Egbuka at 27, Denzel Boston, Jalen Waddell, Trey Tucker.
26:43By the way, Jalen Waddell, LOL at him still being a top 30 wide receiver ranked is just laughable.
26:49Trey Tucker at 30, Xavier Worthy, Omar Cooper, Keenan Allen, Devon Vele, Josh Downs, and Roma Dunze.
26:54This is not on the sheet. Just real quick.
26:57Erickson, where do you have Jalen Waddell this week?
27:00Wide receiver 29. Wrong, wrong. Where do you have him?
27:03Because Erickson has promised that Bo Nix is going to look like vintage John Elway this week, I've got him also wide receiver 29.
27:10Let's go. Okay. All right. Well, if he does, good on that.
27:13It only took one of the worst teams in the NFL to get him right just all the other weeks it didn't.
27:20But just wanted to check where we're at with that.
27:23Jeremy Bernard is going to be vastly asked over the next three or four days.
27:28That's going to be a big one. He's got New Orleans.
27:31It's a five-star graded matchup according to fantasy pros.
27:34It's now two weeks. That was a big thing people were asking.
27:37Like, oh, got to do it again. He kind of continues to roll.
27:41He's ECR 25. You two are both lower, but only by a notch.
27:45You're at 26. Fitzy, why don't you kick us off here?
27:49Jeremy Bernard. Wide receiver three. I think that's pretty good.
27:52High and wide receiver three. What level of confidence do you have in starting him this week?
27:57I mean, top 26, again, is solid. But where are you at on him?
28:01Reasonably confident. And last week was great. 11 catches, 87 yards, and a touchdown on 12 targets.
28:06But it was also kind of volume-based. The Steelers were unexpectedly playing from behind against the Buccaneers.
28:11Aaron Rodgers threw a season-high 49 passes. I like Bernard just fine this week.
28:15I'm just not expecting 11 catches. Erickson, are you expecting 11 catches?
28:19Are you expecting the volume to continue? Do you have an optimism that's not representative of your rank, or are you just
28:26kind of like, eh, about Jeremy Bernard? I think you just ride the wave, right?
28:30Like, he's been heavily involved the last two games.
28:33I know that last week the Steelers obviously dropped back to throw a ton of times, but that actually helped DK Metcalf more than helped Jeremy Bernard.
28:41In the first half, he had six catches. Way more than DK Metcalf did.
28:45So I think that Bernard, in his role in this offense, that doesn't have Roman Wilson, that doesn't have Michael Pittman, the
28:52Steelers are top three in overall pass rate this season and pass rate over expectation.
28:56So they are looking to throw the ball more than run the ball.
29:00That could change against the Saints, who have definitely been more of a run-funnel defense, but just a defense overall that you
29:07can kind of attack in any way that your offense decides.
29:10So he has Aaron Rodgers' trust. He caught the overtime touchdown.
29:14Quarterbacks remember that stuff, right? Clutch time, he went to Bernard, and the rookie has been delivering more often than not.
29:20So he has 17 catches in the last two games.
29:23Again, that's up there with players like Malik Nabors and Puka Nakua, right?
29:27Who each have 23 catches. So again, being in that conversation with those guys, again, it looks and feels like an outlier,
29:34but it suggests, hey, Bernard's doing something well. And the fact that the concentration between Metcalf and Bernard has been so strong
29:40with, you know, the tight ends kind of dabbling as well, I think that he continues to be a strong wide receiver three play.
29:47Who has not been a strong wide receiver play this year, has been Emeka Egbuka, unfortunately.
29:52Very much due to like Jalen Daniels out there.
29:55But wide receiver 27. Erickson, you are higher though at 23.
29:58Optimistic and wide receiver. Two territory fits. You got him at 28.
30:02Erickson, are we going to win? Is the seal going to break for Emeka Agbuka?
30:06I mean, he's not Jalen Waddle or anything like that, but it just, it hasn't lived up to the expectation.
30:13You are bumping up to a wide receiver two this week.
30:16I mean, it's 16 targets last week. Yeah. Right.
30:19Like you can't just like wipe that away. He has the volume on his side and that's not something Jalen Waddle has.
30:25I mean, I don't know. Does anyone have 16 targets on the season?
30:29Doesn't have 16 catches, I don't think. It's like you got to double check to be like, wait, does he?
30:35So at least that's working in Agbuka's favor that with Jalen Daniels, it's very concentrated on him being the number one target in the offense.
30:43Now you want more than 48 yards of receiving when you get 16 targets, but still in a full PPR, seven catches for 48 yards.
30:50He'll take that. He did score last week. He actually should have scored two touchdowns last week.
30:55Jalen Daniels missed him, which is going to happen when you have a rookie quarterback as your starter, but I'm just chasing the targets, right?
31:03With Agbuka, excuse me, in the three full games with Daniels, Agbuka has seen 29 targets, which ranks top five.
31:09He's only caught 15 of them, which is the issue.
31:1251.7% catch rate, not good, but sometimes you got to chase the volume.
31:16It's the Carolina Panthers, right? And match up that in division.
31:19I expect it to be kind of back and forth.
31:22I don't think either team is going to run away with the game.
31:26So you're expecting at least some decent pass volume from the Buccaneers, and Agbuka's the guy, and I'm not afraid of a matchup against the Panthers.
31:34So that's why I have him at wide receiver 23.
31:37Fitz, you got him at wide receiver 28, but you got Jeremy Bernard ahead of him.
31:42So where are you at on Amek Agbuka? Yeah, he's also scored a touchdown each of his last two games and did have the 16 targets last week.
31:50But man, in Jalen Daniels' three starts, Agbuka's averaged 6.6 yards per catch and 3.4 yards per target.
31:56So again, I talked about this with Bucky Irving on the running back show.
32:00The Buccaneers' offense just feels very constricted with Jalen Daniels at quarterback, and that's kind of an issue for Agbuka too.
32:06The pass volume has been great, the target volume, but he's just not turning that into a lot of yardage.
32:12Next wide receiver up here, wide receiver 32. You got 32 on here going up against Miami.
32:17Fun one, you know, his return back. Solid performance.
32:20Omar Cooper, we talked about him in the waiver show.
32:23So Fitzy, Sealy and I, and, you know, where he ended up going, it was usually like right after Trey Tucker, if Trey Tucker was available.
32:31Omar Cooper, though, was like one of the top wide receivers to pick up this week.
32:36Doesn't have like a vastly insane rank, but he comes in as a wide receiver three.
32:41He's at 32. You guys are both relatively optimistic about him.
32:44Fitzy, you've got him at 32. So talk to us about Omar Cooper this week.
32:49You're right at ECR. He's a startable piece. Maybe there's going to be some guys that other people are going to have
32:55worthwhile, but still like wide receiver three starter this week.
32:58Kind of an eye-opening performance from Omar Cooper in week six after barely playing in week one.
33:03Only played like, I think, what, half a dozen snaps or so.
33:07Ran one route and had a 30-yard catch in week one before he got hurt.
33:12This guy is just, I'm not surprised that he would make a quick adjustment to the NFL because he was so well-rounded
33:18and just such a gamer for Indiana last year.
33:21And I remember Erickson talking about him as, I think, Erickson bet the under on wherever he was going to be drafted
33:28this year because there was so much buzz about Omar Cooper.
33:31Just tough inside-outside versatility. Can play in the slot.
33:34Can play outside. Really tough after the catch. Hard to tackle.
33:37Makes acrobatic catches. I mean, beat Penn State for Indiana last second last year with one of the best catches you'll ever see.
33:44Just like a quarterback-friendly wide receiver. And I don't think he's going to leapfrog Garrett Wilson as the number one receiver for
33:50the Jets anytime soon, but they still don't have Adnay Mitchell with that finger injury.
33:55And I like the matchup against Miami, which probably has one of the worst secondaries in the league.
34:00Erickson, you got him at 30. You're talking him up.
34:03Are you going to talk him up this week?
34:06Yes, because he's facing the Miami Dolphins. So you want to start as many guys as you can against these really bad defenses.
34:13Miami, I would put in the same territory as the Colts in that capacity.
34:17And Omar Cooper should have had two touchdowns last week.
34:20Oh, yeah. Had not been for a Tim Patrick offensive pass interference call.
34:24So he could have had an even bigger game still.
34:27You're going to take six catches for 103 yards on seven targets.
34:31I agree with Fitz. I don't think he's going to take over as the wide receiver one on this team.
34:37I think that when you catch coverage from Christian Gonzalez, it opens up opportunities for some of those other guys.
34:43But Storm Duck, is he coming back to save the Miami Dolphins secondary?
34:47I know he's always catching strays. But again, no offense to Storm Duck, but this Dolphins secondary is not good.
34:53So Omar Cooper, especially all the ways he can be used, especially after the catch.
34:57I know I comped him to Debo Samuel coming out, discount Debo, mini Debo, etc.
35:02And the fact that he came back, totally dusted Isaiah Williams as the number two guy, played all the snaps, 82% snap share.
35:09That's really, really good for a receiver coming back in basically his first game since week one.
35:14So all he has done is make plays. And I see no reason why we expect anything different in a juicy matchup at home against the Miami Dolphins.
35:23And by the way, I'm mad all over again.
35:25That was such a bogus OPI call on Tim Patrick in that game.
35:29It should have been two touchdowns for Omar Cooper.
35:32Really interesting rank jump that's happened this week. And you guys have a big difference on the guy we're going to talk about.
35:39But Keenan Allen, Keenan Allen at 33 has jumped Josh Downs, who comes in at 25.
35:44You guys are split. But Erickson, you have pushed Keenan Allen outside of a top wide receiver three.
35:49So not really a startable piece. So the question is, is should Keenan Allen jump Josh Downs?
35:54And what are you maybe not so into? Because you are lower than ECR as a flex option, I guess, of Keenan Allen this week.
36:02Well, all the Colts receiver rankings depend on whether Tyler Warren plays or not.
36:06I think that they would all fall pretty dramatically if he misses another game.
36:10They're also playing the Minnesota Vikings, right? So I don't see any reason where I feel the need or urge to start any of these Colts receivers.
36:18So I get that Keenan Allen led the team in targets last week, as he tends to typically do.
36:24All this underneath stuff not really being used much after the catch given his age.
36:29But I still think that Josh Downs is the better player.
36:32And if you ask me to rank these guys in the next 10 games, who's going to outscore who?
36:38I think it would probably be Josh Downs more often than Keenan Allen.
36:42Josh Downs had a bad game, right? He almost scored a touchdown on the end of round.
36:47He got like, I don't know how he didn't score, honestly.
36:50Like he looked like he was going right into the end zone.
36:54And then just like he just got hit a wall at the one yard line and he didn't end up scoring.
37:00He also had a couple of drops in that game.
37:03So I think obviously Downs has been disappointing. I'm just not willing to chase these 12, 11 targets with Keenan Allen against the Minnesota Vikings defense.
37:11That's just an absolute gauntlet. That's why I have both guys, right?
37:15It's like fringe fantasy wide receiver threes. And I would just, I think there's way other upside plays you can look for.
37:21Bitsy, you are higher on Keenan Allen than ECR.
37:24And I'm going to guess the battle of Keenan Allen versus Josh Downs.
37:28You are in favor of Keenan Allen. I have Keenan Allen, I think one spot ahead of Josh.
37:33No, two spots ahead of Josh Downs. And I'm not totally convinced that Josh Downs is a better player than Keenan Allen, even at Keenan Allen's advanced age.
37:42What? You think Keenan Allen's better than Josh Downs?
37:44Yeah. Is Josh Downs playing well this year? I mean, he's being thrust into this elevated role and he's like, you know,
37:51Kevin in the office with the pot of chili with this role.
37:55I mean, it's just, he has not been good this year.
37:58I'm sorry. I wanted to believe it too. And I feel kind of, I feel kind of silly for ranking Josh Downs
38:05as high as I did in my draft rankings, but he's not having a good year by any measure, I don't think.
38:11And yeah, like Keenan Allen, there's a reason he's gotten 29 targets over the last three weeks.
38:16Like that dude can get open in his sleep even at, you know, in his late 30s here.
38:22So yeah, this is based on Tyler Warren probably not playing or playing but not being himself.
38:27And if we hear Tyler Warren's good to go, I'll probably drop both of the Colts receivers a little bit.
38:33Would they be outside the top like 36? Top three?
38:36Yeah, right around there. Okay. All right. Deep plays.
38:39What do you guys got for us on deep plays?
38:42Erickson, why don't you kick us off here? Deep play wide receiver, you know, like a non-top 36-ish type of wide receiver.
38:48Who do you got? Ryan Flornoy, wide receiver for the Dallas Cowboys.
38:52He's been the top 24 wide receiver in back-to-back games coming off a game where he had nine targets, caught seven for
38:5940 yards, had a fourth quarter touchdown. But he played 87% of the snaps, seven catches, like I mentioned.
39:04And he plays more than half of his snaps from the slot.
39:08And that is what we've been targeting when teams have faced the Eagles defense all year long.
39:13So I think that Flornoy coming off a season high in snaps, targets, catches, and route participation at 93%.
39:19I think that he's an interesting play here against the Eagles on Monday night.
39:23Fitzy, you got a deep play. I'm a little bit of Homer, but I was kind of locked into this just because of injuries as well.
39:31This actually might be sneaky. Your sneaky play is a San Francisco 49ers wide receiver.
39:36Brandon Cooks, who hard to believe he's a thing in 2026, but he might be the number one wide receiver for the
39:4249ers against the Falcons, who have been the biggest pass funnel defense in the league this year.
39:47Fitz, if Christian Kirk is active, do you still prefer Cooks?
39:51In Christian Kirk's first game back, yes, I would have Cooks ranked ahead of Kirk.
39:55Though it wouldn't surprise me if Kirk was more the go-to guy.
39:59All right. Well, who do you guys like? And hopefully there's some deep plays out there for you.
40:04Those are 36 wide receivers, at least in ECR.
