0:39Andrew Erickson, the Undertaker. Pride of New Orleans Radio.
0:42And Deuce McAllister's new best friend as Erickson was brought on to talk fantasy with Deuce McAllister.
0:47I loved Deuce McAllister. Erickson? Dude, Deuce McAllister was one of my favorite running backs to play as in Madden 2005.
0:53Hell yeah! So the fact that I got the opportunity to talk to him every single week on the New Orleans radio is pretty exciting.
1:00And he's asking me questions about football. I mean, it's fantasy football, but football is just kind of, it's like a pinch me moment, honestly.
1:08Wait, it's every single week? Every Thursday. Oh. Or excuse me, every Wednesday, 725 Central Time, which is, that's where New Orleans is on Central Time.
1:15So 825 Eastern Time. Usually it's right after I finish eating dinner, I'm doing the dishes, cleaning up, and then I do my radio hit.
1:23Kind of awesome. That's kind of awesome. Well, congrats, buddy.
1:26A little shout out there. Deuce McAllister and Andrew Erickson just chopping it up and hanging out like we're going to chop
1:32it up and hang out with you guys. This is the show of the people, for the people, and with the people

1:48If you guys want to join the party, you can.

1:54Eastern. Erickson and I are here. If you're listening on the podcast, come and hang out with us.
1:59You also get to hear it a day early and you get to be a part of the whole thing.
2:05And there are plenty of other reasons to want to hang out in the Fantasy Pros Discord.
2:10We've got Boggs and Fitz, 5 p.m. Eastern. Well, I think it's like this hasn't been updated.
2:15I think it's the third Tuesday of every month.
2:18They were doing every month in August. 5 p.m.
2:20Eastern for Worm and Fitz on the first Tuesday of every month.
2:24And then Erickson and I are here every week.
2:26But people are talking lineups. They've been doing mock drafts in the end season.
2:31And this becomes a really important show because we are here on Thursday afternoons kind of setting you up for those last questions.
2:37So fantasypros.com slash chat. Fantasypros.com slash chat. Be a part of the Fantasy Pro Discord community and be a part of our show.
2:44Erickson, we've got a full audience. We've got a ton of hands up here.
2:48And this is a wide open one. This could be final draft questions and prep.
2:53This could be week one stuff. We just partially finished recording some of the week one episode for ranks on RBs.
2:59We're going to do wide receivers here in a little bit.
3:02Like we're in the thick of all of it.
3:05So we're open to whatever you guys got. So let's jump into it.
3:08And as a tease to the end of the episode, we are going to update you for the final time on what
3:15our in-season sleepers are going to be. So if you cared at all, Erickson and I ranked top seven in all of
3:21the world in sleeper rankings last year, the fantasy pros world of, you know, everybody that ranked it.
3:27And we talked about it last week at the end of the episode.
3:30We have made some updates. I've got if I've got an update, I think one wide receiver, I think two at running back.
3:37And I don't know if I've changed quarterback and tight end.
3:40I don't know where Erickson's at, but at the end of the episode, we are going to give you what our updated
3:47sleeper ranks are going into the season. So you can take that into the final drafts.
3:52And I'll be honest with you. I think there's at least one guy on mine, at least one that is a pickup.
3:58You could pick him up even after week one that isn't getting drafted.
4:02So you guys let me know. We'll see. And let's kick it off with the first person.
4:07This is Kilo. Kilo, come on down and tell us what you got, man.
4:11Extra point. Will it be good? We have, we do have the first down, second down.
4:16Kilo looks like he is struggling on first down going once, going twice and sold.
4:20Kilo, you can re-raise your hand and come back up for second down, but Cornwallis.
4:24I know we can always count on Cornwallis as I set myself up there.
4:28Cornwallis. Oh, there you go. Cornwallis. What's up, brother?
4:31Hey, what's up? Uh, so last week we talked auction stars and scrubs.
4:35I'm admittedly not a stars and scrubs guy, but I ended up in a stars and scrubs build.
4:40Um, so I kind of wanted to get your guys' take on it.
4:44Um, basically CD lamb. I'm not sort of talking pick equivalent cause like the money doesn't really mean anything to most people,
4:51but like CD lamb at pick eight chase Brown, pick 12, Jente 18, Garrett Wilson at 36, uh, Travion Henderson at 84 Rico, 98.
4:58Then, and I didn't really pick again to like pick a hundred and 25 and it was Myers Lloyd, Trey Tucker, Jacoby Lane, K Sean booty.
5:05Okay. So you're going to have to, it's hard to like mentally.
5:09So this is your auction. Give me the top players that the studs that you went with again, just give me the studs.
5:15Uh, lamb, Brown, Jente Garrett Wilson. Okay, cool. I just did a, um, I think I mentioned this pentathlon.
5:21Derek van Riper runs it. We did an auction.
5:24Um, it's actually funny. It's the most cause DVR.
5:26There's a lot of baseball people that are in there.
5:29The what's the most baseball thing you can do to fantasy football, make it a Roto football league.
5:35And that's what it is. It actually, it's kind of gross if we're being honest, but it's a Roto league that, and
5:41it's five different events, by the way, we have to do DFS.
5:44We have to do pick them. We have a best ball, but this specific one was an auction super flex to tight
5:51end Roto one and Bogman and I went studs and scrubs and our studs and scrubs were may Lawrence for two for the super flex.
5:58And then we went a Monra, Drake London and Christian McCaffrey.
6:02So, and I budgeted there. So I kind of like what you did.
6:05Uh, you got, I really think you want to go with a high end wide receivers.
6:10Give me like a couple of the, the, um, scrubs that you picked up on that team as well.
6:16So these guys aren't quite scrubs, but like Travion Henderson and Rico Dattle is my RB threes and fours, but they were,
6:22you know, well outside the top 50. Yeah. Um, at the bottom it's Jacoby Myers, Marshawn Lloyd, Trey Tucker, Jacoby Lane and Kayshawn duty.
6:29Okay. So you just want us to grade out your auction?
6:32Just kind of get your guys' thoughts on like stars and scrubs.
6:36Like w is this a build you'd be comfortable with?
6:39Um, that kind of stuff. Yeah, I think so.
6:41That's kind of how ours looks. We're, we're pretty disgusting in, on our scrubs.
6:46Um, and on our bench, like our running backs kind of stink in the studs and scrubs.
6:51I think we got like Mononga is our third RB.
6:53Emmitt Johnson. Um, you know, Chris Bell is someone we took at the end.
6:58Like I, I, we're the truest sense of studs and scrubs, but that's a price you got to pay.
7:03I think you did pretty good. You're not quite in the territory.
7:07I think me and Bogman were, I think you've got a little bit more balanced though.
7:11You are a roster in Jacoby lane. Erickson, what do you think about a studs and scrubs auction build and how, and
7:18some of the names that he put on it?
7:20At least from my perspective, it doesn't really seem like a stars and scrubs kind of team.
7:25Seems like it's pretty balanced to be honest. Yeah.
7:28Maybe I'm wrong there. I mean, make it to study wide receivers.
7:32Well, the money that you spend in the auction obviously dictates the definition of, of stars and scrubs.
7:37But when you just like, if you just listed off that roster and not had prefaced it with this is a stars
7:43and scrubs team, I'd be like, it's a good team for an auction.
7:47I'm not like blown away by the top heaviness of it, but I'm also not blown away by like, Oh man, cause
7:54I've seen to your point, real stars and scrubs where the scrubs are really bad.
7:58Why do you keep saying stars and scrubs? Is that like your term for it?
8:02What is it? Studs and scrubs. What is it?
8:05Yeah. No, I, well, that's okay. I just thought it was like, it's studs and scrubs.
8:10You're saying stars and scrubs. I've literally never heard that before.
8:13It totally makes sense. But I thought you were like, you were really hitting at home.
8:18Like you wanted to correct me by saying stars and scrubs.
8:21I mean, stars and scrubs is there's literally an article on fantasy pros called stars and scrubs.
8:26I always called it. So am I the weirdo?
8:29Okay. Now we got to vote. Everybody in the chat.
8:31Is it stars and scrubs or studs and scrubs?
8:34And if you're listening on the podcast, both of them work.
8:37No, it's a studs and scrubs. You refers to stars and scrubs or studs and duds.
8:42No, no. I I'm losing my mind. I'm going to go crazy.
8:46If you're listening on the podcast, like on, on Spotify, they let you make comments.
8:50Oh my God. Studs and scrubs sounds better. I'm living in a crazy world.
8:54See people. So it's mixed. No, it's not a mix.
8:57Everyone's on your side right now. McTunda saying that is not a Welsh.
9:01It is always been studs and scrubs to me.
9:03I've never heard of stars and scrubs. That doesn't even like go off the tongue properly.
9:08What's happening here? Is somebody on my side? Team studs.
9:11King said that studs and scrubs sounds better, but not that it's correct.
9:15Studs and scrubs. Yeah, it does sound studs and scrubs.
9:18It's the alliteration sounds better. Okay. I just need to know everyone that's hanging here live.
9:23You can vote, but if you're listening on the podcast, please, we need to, I need to find out is it studs
9:29and scrubs or stars and scrubs total appreciation for you doing it.
9:33But you said it so many times. I was like, what's happening here.
9:36We need to know are you stars or team studs, but going back to your main point, you probably wouldn't have known
9:43whatever you call it that this actually was you're kind of right.
9:46Cause like my version of it, by the way, like when you hear Drake, May Lawrence and a super flex Christian McCaffrey, a monitor, St.
9:54Brown and London, that's the truest sense of the studs or the stars.
9:57And then having I had Jalen Coker. We have to start at our flex spot.
10:02Like that's, that's what that ends up looking like.
10:04You know what I mean? Yeah. We can't get over this either.
10:08What did Nosti said? This is a Mandela effect situation.
10:11The universes are collapsing for watch. It's a hundred percent.
10:14The stars doesn't rhyme. Like Brick said, I, I, this might be Mandela effect, but it's a hundred percent.
10:19But like crazy world I'm experiencing where those first couple people were with you.
10:24Stars doesn't rhyme. Yeah. Who cares if it rhymes?
10:26It does because that's the whole point. That's like, well, it's not the whole point, but that's like, that's why it was studs and scrubs.
10:34This is crazy to me. I'm now like. Is it, is it a Berenstain bears or Berenstain bears?
10:39It's Berenstain. Is it? That's another Mandela. Oh my God.
10:42We can get into that later. Oh my God.
10:44My brains are frying. This is the best episode we've ever done.
10:48I'm going to get so many comments. It's going to be so many.
10:52We're going to get like a thing from our bosses.
10:55Hey guys, just want to let you know, you guys really got a lot of comments on the podcast.
11:00This is exciting. And we're like, well, it's all because of Berenstain bear and stars and scrubs.
11:05It's Berenstain bears. What? Yeah. You didn't know that?
11:08It's not Berenstain. Yes, it is. Look it up.
11:11It's S T A I N. Not E I N.
11:13Oh my God. This is a bad way to go into the season.
11:17Berenstain. I've never heard of that. That's how it's spelled.
11:20Wait until he finds out. Monopoly guy never had a monocle.
11:23Oh my God. We're just going to log off real quick.
11:27All right. We should probably get back to that.
11:29We will get back to it. I mean, I feel like the chat has turned on me.
11:34Like I'm just an idiot then. So apologies for my stupidity of Berenstain and stars and scrubs, but very good question.
11:40Yeah. I think it's, it was like a solid ish team.
11:44I don't think it was as a study as possible, but that was a fun conversation.
11:48I'm excited to see. I'm blowing my mind. Please stop by the way.
11:52Don't pull another thing out. They're going to be like, in fact, it's, it is tomato.
11:57Everyone says it's not actually tomato. You're going to just, you're going to kill me the rest of this episode.
12:03Oh, you know what? Here's McTunda. I need someone on my side.
12:06Well, actually McTunda was going against me. McTunda put a, well, McTunda was in a draft last night with me and he,
12:13uh, making a lot of good picks that I did not appreciate.
12:16I don't know why I can't get, Oh, and kilo, I'll get you back up here in a second.
12:22I accidentally clicked McTunda for some reason that was taken forever.
12:25McTunda. That's not a Welshism. Are you there? This is a Mandela effect.
12:29Oh, there we go. I'm here now. There you go.
12:32That's not a well, it's start studs and scrubs.
12:34It's not a Welshism. It's close enough. Do you?
12:37You don't have many football Welshisms to be fair.
12:40Yeah. Well, I'm just dumb. It's just, it doesn't have to be sports specific.
12:44It's just idiocy. But do you say stars and scrubs?
12:47I do say stars and scrubs. Oh my God.
12:49Do you say Berenstain bear? No, I've, I grew up Berenstain bears.
12:53I only learned about the Berenstain bears like six months ago.
12:56That, that, oh, you learned about it. Cause it's a real thing.
13:00Berenstain? Yes. That is a very popularized Mandela effect where everyone remembers it as Berenstain bears, but when you actually go back and look, it's Berenstain bears.
13:08You meant the opposite, but I know what you meant.
13:11All right. I'm McTendon. Sorry. I'll, I'll get us off of that.
13:14My brain is fried. Well, I did take some picks from Erickson, but he also stole Algier from me in the ninth.
13:21And I'm, I'm still not happy about that. Yeah.
13:23That's a, that's definitely an Erickson pick. Uh, what do you got for us though?
13:28Um, if you're staring down the barrel and it's either Pittman or DK, who are you taking in a full PPR league?
13:34That's a good question. Erickson. What do you think?
13:37I've been on the Pittman bandwagon for a majority of the off season, but now that I've kind of seen more reports
13:43about how Pittman has missed so much time with his injury and that he's kind of behind the eight ball.
13:49I think that Metcalf is going to probably open the year as the more productive wide receiver.
13:54And I think that the upside case for both guys was middling at best.
13:58So I'm actually going to shift Metcalf ahead of Michael Pittman, Jr.
14:02Acknowledging Pittman could probably have a surge later in the season and maybe overtake DK Metcalf as the number one target, but
14:08out of the gates, I think it's going to be Metcalf and I think that's what I'd rather invest in, especially if
14:14I'm going to draft any Steelers wide receiver. I think that Pittman, if he starts out slow, he's going to be the
14:21first guy you cut from your team. Uh, I am.
14:24I'm, I'm good with, I think Metcalf is the upside play.
14:27I think, um, I think younger. Yeah. I just typed in a popular Mandela effect.
14:32Number four, the Berenstain Bears didn't exist. They didn't even exist because it's Berenstain.
14:36I have the books. What do you mean they didn't exist?
14:39Well, that's what it says. I have the books.
14:41No, but to your point, it is not Berenstain.
14:44It is Berenstain. That is wild. Also, Curious George apparently, uh, didn't have a tail.
14:49So that's a popular Mandela. We're going to be going through this the rest of the show.
14:54I don't care. Uh, I will, I will sprinkle in these Mandela effects to the rest of the episode because these are now fascinating.
15:01Uh, maybe not all 40, but some of them.
15:03All right. Uh, Kilo. Sorry, man. Uh, what do you got?
15:06Can you hear me? Yeah, we got you, dude.
15:09Hey, so I'm in a keeper league and I kept chase Brown in the fourth round and I have the seventh pick
15:16in a 10 team league PPR three flex. Now I'm trying to figure out how I should go about my first three rounds.
15:22Who would you guys target in those first three rounds?
15:25Okay. So you have chase Brown and then do I'm sorry.
15:28Did you, what pick did you say? Seven? Yes.
15:31Okay. So you have any, who else is being, who else is being kept?
15:35Yeah. Good point. Is it heavy? Okay. So for a first three round type of guys, Jonathan Taylor's gone.
15:41Uh, Jameer Gibbs is gone. Jason is gone. Um, Javante Williams is gone.
15:45Uh, that should be. So your guy is kind of the lowest of the keepers.
15:49And Derek Henry's gone. Okay. So maybe Derek Henry is the lowest.
15:53Okay. Okay. I would say, I would say in the first.
15:56Oh, okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. So I would say, so B John chase Nakua.
16:00So that was one, two, three St. Brown. He said was being kept, right?
16:04I think so. Yeah. Okay. So he's gone. Cook is gone.
16:07He already said JT is gone. He said, JSN is gone.
16:10So now we're in the territory of guys he could pick.
16:14So among running backs, it looks like it's Walker, a Chan, AJ Brown, or a wide receiver, Hampton Barkley.
16:19So, I mean, there's a lot of good running backs here.
16:22I think maybe you hit one of these other tier two running backs, really get your stable and then just pound receiver.
16:29Cause you have three flex spots. So you can just fill it with a bunch of high upside wide receivers.
16:35That's probably my approach, especially in a 10 team league where it's easy to get tight end.
16:40So I don't know. Do you do co-sign on that?
16:43Welsh, what do you think? Um, I mean, I, I guess I'm kind of BPA in that standpoint.
16:48I don't have a pro. It sounded like he might've also been throwing out that there's, um, there's like round effects on some of these.
16:55So that might play a role in. Like if you didn't have a second round pick and you took a running back
17:02and then you get a lower end wide receiver.
17:04I'm just kind of BPA on that. Like I was going to ask you if the decision is Hampton or London, and
17:11you've already kept Brown, which, which one would you want?

18:21Hampton. Hampton. Okay, so you would want to go the running back.
18:24Yeah, I think if one of the like top 10 running backs are out there, that's what I would want to do.
18:31But like, you know, if an Amonra or Justin Jefferson was out there, I would lean there.
18:36I think it gets tricky when it's like, here's Pickens and here's the running back.
18:40I probably lean the running back. Dude, we did the Tags League.
18:44Erickson and I both did. The, you know, Mike Tagliere League.
18:47In honor of him, that's our championship league here at Fantasy Pros.
18:50It's a 16 team monster. Only three people from the content league.
18:54Finish Pros is a big company, by the way.
18:56Only three of us made it. Me and Erickson are two of those three that made it into the Tags League this
19:03year, which were fighting for the championship and Wormley.
19:06We got picks one, two and three. Erickson got the top pick.
19:09Easiest pick of all time. He takes, I'm sorry, what did you take?
19:13Gibbs, right? Yeah. Okay. For some reason, I thought you took Bichon for a second.
19:17Bichon goes to, I'm sitting there going. I know it's 16 team.
19:21Maybe I should take the running back. Nah, we're going to go with Chase.
19:25Proceeds to be the biggest run of running backs I've ever seen in my life happen.
19:30So much so in a 16 team league, it was like Trey McBride fell back to the second round.
19:35So I ended up going McBride and then I was forced into in the third round having to take Bucky Irving and
19:42I kind of regretted a little bit. So what I'm getting at, obviously it's not, it doesn't sound like this is a
19:4816 team league, but if you're in a position where you are worried that people are really pressing running back, if you
19:55can get the elite running backs, there is really great value in doing that because that mid tier wide receiver, that teens
20:01range of wide receiver is so good. Like Buka, Tedaroa, Waddle.
20:04Like I love that. I even love, then you get into the mid twenties, Parker, Washington, Mike Evans.
20:10Like I just, I, I probably do want to build the running back.
20:13So I'm, I'm with you with that. So I probably need to close this by the way, this Mandela effect.
20:19I am absolutely getting, uh, I am getting completely thrown into multiple directions when I'm reading some of these that are insane.
20:26Kylo did also ask which running back. So the order I have after JT is Walker, Chase Brown, HN.
20:31So those three guys, you know, that order. Okay, perfect.
20:34Yeah. A lot of these, by the way, I'll stop with Mandela fix, but there's like, this guy didn't have a tail
20:41or Pikachu did not have like a line on his tail or, uh, the hyphen and Kit Kat.
20:46So those are the fun ones, but you already broke my brain.
20:49Uh, catalyst. What's up catalyst? Hi guys. Thanks for having me on the show.
20:54Thanks dude. Yeah. So, um, I'm going into my, um, super team of trying to like, when the only issue I have,
21:00um, maybe it's just with the quarterback crawler. So I posted in the chat.
21:04My concern is that like right now my starters are may and Rogers and I have been doze on the bench, but
21:11like, you know, Raiders side to sit him. There's, um, some possibility he could play in November just so that way, like they dip his feet.
21:18But I wanted to know if there is any other moves I would have to make in order to try to make my win now move.
21:26Now is this, you said this is super flex.
21:28Uh, yes. Uh, 12 teams, super flex tight end premium.
21:31Oh, tight. I was about to say, I'm like, is this too tight in or tight end premium?
21:37Cause he's got. Warren and fan in it tight end chasing Scott and tootin and prices the running backs.
21:42Jason, Ted pickings like Buka sick wide receivers, may Rogers, Brissette and Mendoza, uh, and no picks coming into last year.
21:48So that's kind of the structure of the team.
21:51What do you, what do you think you're Erickson?
21:54I'm not really concerned about quarterback. I think that between having Brissette for extended part of the season, you have Rogers for the beginning of the season.
22:02So even if those guys end up not starting games later on in the year, that's when you'll see Mendoza in the lineup.
22:08So I'm not really concerned about quarterback. You have Drake may as your hero QB, and you have a hodgepodge of guys
22:15that you can make by or get by with those three players.
22:18I think that you're fine. I'm actually probably more concerned about your running backs.
22:22I think it's probably my biggest push point because price, you can see his value decrease as Charbonnet comes back.
22:28So that's a concern to in. I think ultimately he's going to break through as the burning back you want on this team.
22:35Scadaboo seems like movie boomer bust when it comes to the Giants offense.
22:39I'm not a big guy this year. I don't know what you can sell him for in a dynasty context because it
22:45seems like he's got a very wide range of outcomes in terms of his price.
22:50Ultimately, I would probably be on the cell just based on the hype for Scadaboo and injury concerns for long term, the
22:56Giants offense and what that's going to look like.
22:59And the fact that they have four running backs on the roster that they're inviting potential touches for that concerns me.
23:05So I want to throw you a trade option here because I kind of agree with you here.
23:10Like he called this a super team. I don't know if this is a super team.
23:15The receivers are really good. I mean, except Jonas is five.
23:18Yeah. May is sick in dynasty. Tight end is good too.
23:21Yeah. May is sick in dynasty. And he said super flex wide receivers, sick tight end premium.
23:26You're killing it. Do you think you could offer and would you do it?
23:31Pickens and Scadaboo to go get like a Ken Walker, you know, and maybe like a, a second round pick or something
23:37like that, or maybe another piece that kind of helps right now.
23:41Like, do you think that's the type of running back you could package pick?
23:45I mean, does Pickens alone get it done? And would you do something like that to show up the RV spot?
23:51I think even if it's not those exact players, I think that's the right mindset is you package Scadaboo to another team
23:57to upgrade running back and you give them whatever receiver they want.
24:01Knowing that you can get a good or a better running back in return.
24:05I know running back that I've really liked buying in dynasty is Javante Williams because he's 26 years old.
24:10He just signed a new contract with the Dallas Cowboys and his dynasty value price is still very palatable.
24:16So that might be a move that you could make where you send Scadaboo and Pickens for Javante and something else.
24:22Maybe that could work as an option or, or aim higher for a different running back, Brees Hall.
24:27Again, he's still young. He's on the jets, which sucks, but he's also good.
24:32So that also means you can probably get him at a decent bargain or Scadaboo and Fanon as well because you have Tyler Warren.
24:39So you trade a tight end on the Browns.
24:41Maybe that's another option too, but Scadaboo plus something to upgrade running back.
24:45I think is probably the main message. And then you having Mendoza for this, I would request you change your team name to the Mendoza effect.
24:53If you could do that in honor of this episode, please.
24:56Just a little request from me. Um, all right, next up really him.
25:00What's up, dude? What's up, fellas? Can you hear me?
25:03Yeah, we got you good, man. Alrighty. I am in a 12 team super flex league.
25:07I thought I drafted an IR player. Turns out I did not.
25:11So now I need to make a two for one.
25:14Do you think it's a complete overpay to trade Jordan Addison and Kenny Gainwell for Ashton Chinty?
25:19If I can get him. Say it again. Addison and who?
25:22Uh, Kenneth Gainwell. No, that is a great deal.
25:25If you can do that. Who is he getting?
25:27Ashton Chinty. Oh my God. Yeah. Sorry. I don't know why my brain couldn't process that.
25:32Uh, yeah. 100%. Yeah. Do that all day long.
25:35By the way. What other, uh, running back targets could I look at?
25:39Ashton Chinty. None. Because you're not going to get a better running back for those.
25:43Yeah. There's no other better deals you'll get for the, than that for those two guys.
25:48Yeah. So if you have that deal, take it.
25:50By the way, is your avatar, uh, Mike McDaniels with a tattoo over his head?
25:55Yeah. It says chargers on his forehead. Okay. All right.
25:58I like that. Hold up, baby. Post Malone or something in there.
26:01That's hilarious. All right. Good one. Uh, Chinzer, come on down.
26:04I've got my homework completed and ready to turn in.
26:07Excellent. Uh, then come up to the board and, uh, present to the class please.
26:12All right. This is the 14 team where we went three wide receivers to start.
26:16Okay. So I put it in the chat. This is the mock, right?
26:20Or is this like, this is the real thing?
26:23No, this was the, this was the draft. This was the actual draft.
26:26Okay. Let's go. You want me to read it off?
26:29All right. Um, the wide receiver, the wide receivers you got ridiculous.
26:33You got Puka, neighbors, flowers, and a Watson. So what is the rest of this going to look like?
26:38Uh, quarterback, you got golf and Malik. So you went really late running backs.
26:42You got Dave Montgomery, Ramond, Ray, Bill, Jordan Mason, and Samson.
26:46And at tight end, you got craft and Chikokonkwo.
26:48So. Which, uh, Davis is that Isaiah Davis? No, Ray Davis.
26:52Ray Davis. Okay. So you got, I mean, Monty's a legit starter.
26:55You got it, but okay. So you definitely struggled at running back.
26:59Uh, your wide receivers are so sick. This is, did you say this is full PPR?
27:03Yeah, it is. Okay. Uh, I think the thing that stands out, I would be very curious at where you took craft,
27:10what quarterback or running back was floating out there that I might've sacrificed a little bit better.
27:15Like if I were doing this build, one thing I would have liked is to be like a higher end on an
27:21R one RB or higher end, maybe on like a top quarterback.
27:25I mean, I guess in theory you did get a higher tight ends.
27:29You did get one of those other positions, but I think for the most part, like this is a, it's not a best case scenario.
27:36It's a pretty damn good scenario. You've got some really good builds on the running backs and Mason and bill that could work out for you.
27:44If Malik does what a lot of us think he could do, you've got a good combo.
27:48I mean, yeah, I would say like, if I were grading this, I'd want to grade this like a, a B plus.
27:55I think I've been giving out a lot of B plus is not a lot of A's lately, but maybe it should be better.
28:02Erickson. What do you think about this build? Knowing that we went heavy, heavy wide wide receivers are awesome.
28:08And there's no doubt about that. What do you like about the pieces around it though?
28:12I think it's a good build in terms of your punching or punting off the running back position, overloading at other spots.
28:19So I like it. I like the quarterbacks golf and Malik Wilson.
28:22That's a really good combo. If you're going late at the position craft has a lot of upside.
28:28This was 14, right? Yeah. Okay. So it's good.
28:30So 14 is always going to be this because this is every roster has a hole in a 14 team week.
28:36You all know that it's different from like a 12 team or a 10 team where everyone is stacked.
28:42It's, it's, it's always funny how you can always tell, Oh, this must be a multi or a larger league.
28:48Cause there's more of a glaring hole. So, um, I mean, some of the running backs, like I don't like personally, I'm like, I'm not Dave Montgomery.
28:56I like Rashad white over Ja'Cory cross ski merit.
28:58I like Jordan Mason. I like Dylan Sampson. Ray Davis is a really good handcuff.
29:03So directionally I would have picked some other running backs, but the idea of where you got these running backs in those ranges, I think is fine.
29:11The only other comment I would make, and this is something that fits brought up.
29:15I think on the tailgate show. Well, so you guys did earlier this week, uh, Tyler loop might not be like a kicker that you can rely on.
29:23I'm correct me if I'm wrong. Um, so you might need to address that as I have found out from that show.
29:30And one of the comments on X, when I posted my wife's team where we drafted Tyler loop and someone said he might not be on the roster.
29:38And I said, Oh no, what's happening? Oh no.
29:41What will you do if you can't have the kicker?
29:44We have to say, Hey, I'm just saying, get ahead of it now.
29:47So you have to don't have a bad kicker in week one.
29:51Agreed. And you'll, you'll be fine on there. If this were a 12 team, I would probably be giving this a B minus.
29:58Uh, but the context of it being a 14 team, I think this has got to be into the B plus and your wide receivers.
30:05If they just do their job, it's going to carry you a whole bunch.
30:09I can understand the idea of like, maybe some of the pieces of the wide receivers are the running backs.
30:15Aren't like of love. I'm a little, I become indifferent about Montgomery.
30:18Remondry is cool. I just thought you, you pick the right next round of guys.
30:23I'll tell you one guy I would have loved on this team, but this is a me thing is Jonah Coleman.
30:29Like if I'm playing like heavy wide receiver, but again, that's like more personal preference.
30:33Like if I would have seen instead of, um, you know, Samson or, um, I guess you don't have any other wide receivers.
30:40I just would have liked to have seen like a Jonah Coleman, like a guy that has this like crazy upside to get as a starter.
30:48But I just like, I like what you did overall.
30:51Craft is great. You did good with the running backs in a 14 team.
30:55Did you, what did, uh, the fantasy pros, uh, did you do draft assistant and did it spit out a grade?
31:01No, I haven't done that. I need to run through that.
31:04Yeah. Well, if you'd like some extra credit on your, uh, your progress report, go put it in and let us know what it says.
31:12We'll do, uh, on craft for week one, are we right?
31:15And seeing if the snap share comment was legit or would you do chig?
31:19Ooh, craft just our craft. Oh, crap. He's got the, uh, I mean, the Eagles is it's way tougher.
31:24So I mean, even if he's playing more, we don't even know how productive he'll even potentially be.
31:30Yep. Uh, just like if you've got drafts going on, I've kind of been mentioning this before.
31:35You can use draft assistant also after the fact that it can, you know, give you information about what the spider chart looks like.
31:42Maybe some things you could have done where analysts like it.
31:45And all you got to do is hook up your team.
31:48But if you do have a draft coming up, this is your PSA draft assistants got you covered.
31:54It'll give you expert recommendations for every pick real time alerts, and even predict which players could be making it back to you.

32:22Again, fantasypros.com slash free. All right. STL. What's up?
32:25How's it going guys? Good man. How you doing?
32:27Uh, good. First of all, I can't believe we're talking about the Mandela effect and nobody mentioned Shazam.
32:33That's like the most popular one. And I refuse to believe that doesn't exist.
32:37The wait, you mean the shack wasn't Shazam? No, it was a movie with Sinbad or Sinbad, Sinbad.
32:42That's right. Yeah. It never exists. It never was a thing.
32:45It does not exist. Cause it was the shack one was a steel.
32:49I was am. Was it cause it was cause am.
32:52Oh my God. Yeah. And then I thought there was another one and along with every other millennial, my age, probably that,
32:58uh, thought that was a real thing. The Sinbad is a really, really good one.
33:03Very, very good call. Yeah. So that, that is a crazy one.
33:06Yeah. But anyways, um, so I am in a 12 man, uh, standard scoring league.
33:11I had the first overall pick and I picked Gibbs, um, little light on running back and the benches are very shallow.
33:17Um, last time I had the first overall pick, I picked David Johnson and he got hurt obviously and destroyed my season.
33:24I ended up last place. So I may have a little PTSD from that, but the long, the short version of it
33:30is, should I drop Jonah Coleman to pick up his handcuff and Jacob's sailors or should I just roll the dice?
33:36Who? Oh, oh. Who's handcuff? Gibbs is handcuff. You mean?
33:39Yeah. Sorry. Do we know who that is? I was pretty sure that Campbell came out and said that sailors would be
33:46the guy, but Pacheco is still there when he's banged up.
33:49I don't know. I, I, I think that that's not the move to make.
33:53I think that he is the guy in the moment right now that they'll give one week of work to, and then
33:59they would immediately think, okay, let's go in a different direction.
34:03Cause they could go outside. They could bring in, they could trade for James Connor.
34:07Like there are so many other avenues where I don't like investing in running backs, handcuffs that are super fringe.
34:13That just seems like a super fragile bet. I don't know if you agree, agree or disagree with me Welsh, but like, I'm just taking Jonah Coleman.
34:21He's better. Couldn't say no against that any harder.
34:23I get the logic of it. I mean, I think the same thing, cause I got the name wrong, but I think
34:30the same thing kind of exists maybe to a slightly more degree or larger degree because McCaffrey gets hurt.
34:35But like, I thought it was gonna be Jordan James, but they just announced it's Keon Black.
34:40That's the thing. Like we don't even know. I think the last thing Shanahan said was, I think someone asked him who is your number to running back?
34:49And he's like, we're still figuring it out. Yeah.
34:51Well, it looked like it was Jordan James. Then the depth chart that they just posted said Keon Black, but there's no sell.
34:58My point to that, cause we got asked about it in a live stream and I said Jordan James, but regardless of
35:05that, if McCaffrey were go down, I think both of those guys would be doing it.
35:09And Debo. And Debo. Exactly. That's the thing. So, and or they go and get a guy like you're talking about.
35:15I think it is without question. If, if Gibbs were to go down, what you said, go trade for James Connor, look for depth in another spot.
35:23They're bringing in players. It's a disaster, especially when you're going against a guy like Jonah Coleman, who, you know, maybe people are getting tired of it.
35:31Cause there's, you know, there's some, there's a handful of industry people that believe it.
35:36I am affirmative about it that I think by mid season, Jonah Coleman has this job and I want to make that
35:42bet and I want to roster him everywhere. So I would rather that than like, like, you know, you know, who's a handcuff.
35:49That's real tank Bixby. That's what if Saquon Barkley goes down and tank Bixby gets that job, I'm telling you think Bixby
35:55is a top 12 running back in fantasy. If it is just him, like that's, that's the level of like why he's
36:02to me, one of the most important actual true.
36:04You could look at Blake Corum being like one of that, but he gets like real value.
36:09Those are a couple of the guys that like are true handcuffs that I care about.
36:14Not, uh, you know, whoever the hell is doing it for Gibbs or whatever.
36:18I mean, especially with a player like Jacob sailors, very unknown commodity.
36:22Basically just being thrust into a new role. When there's a chance of Pacheco comes back, they can make a trade.
36:28I know they really like Sian Vahki as well, but he's just banged up.
36:32So I don't think it's worth it to stash a guy that getting worst case scenario gives us to go down first number one.
36:39And then we don't even know what this guy is going to be able to do.
36:44I don't know how much of this guy even played.
36:47I didn't even know his name before he said it.
36:50I didn't. Uh, but, but you know what though?
36:52It's totally understandable. The PTSD of it. Like when, when you get screwed like that, like what a member Barry you threw
36:59at us way dropping a David Johnson in there.
37:01But like that totally happens. You're like, Oh, he's in this spot.
37:05I did this and it blew up in my face.
37:08Like it's totally understandable. We're not. And, and, and hopefully you don't take it.
37:12Like we're being critical of how we were saying it.
37:15We're just so affirmatively against it, but it's totally understandable why you felt that way.
37:19And it's a great question. I'm glad you brought it in here.
37:23It's a safe space for us to talk about that, but no keep Jonah Coleman.
37:27And, uh, you know, if after a couple of weeks you feel weird about it and waivers, I mean, also we don't
37:34know the other reason behind all of that is like, you just never know if, um, regardless if you were doing the
37:40sailor stuff, there could be a running back that goes down, another running back that goes down and there's a guy sitting
37:47on waivers that you're going to want to be aggressive on early in the season.
37:51Yeah. If anything, you want to leave, to be honest, like you're the David Johnson thing is real and the effect that
37:57has on you, but you're also being realistic where Gibbs has to smash and you'll win your fantasy league.
38:03And if he doesn't, you're probably not going to win anyway.
38:06So unfortunately it played out for you in the, in the bad way the first time around.
38:11So I wouldn't let hold that against you. I would just lean into Gibbs being a monster.
38:16The next let me lean Tomlinson 30 touchdown season loading.
38:19And hopefully you don't get the David Johnson run out.
38:22And brother, if Gibbs goes down, you in like 12 billion other people are going to, you know, hate me hating football together.
38:29He's also mentioning the chat. Remember they had cream hunting for a visit.
38:33Yeah. Good point. So like that just totally nukes the sailors pick.
38:36Dude. I love David Johnson living in Arizona. I'm not a Cardinals fan at all.
38:41I hate on them. I think they'll lose every game this year, but like, I loved watching David Johnson, but the original David Johnson, Larry centers.
38:48Wait, what do we, do we officially establish the birdwatch thing?
38:51The first of the Falcons or Cardinals to win a game in 2020.
38:55Oh yeah. Well, it's going to be the Falcons.
38:58We've got a segment on, on tailgate. Birdwatch. I like that.
39:01Have the Falcons or Cardinals won a game? If we could get that kid.
39:05Have you seen that kid? That's incredible at bird sounds.
39:08We just get here and like, and just like, we can have amazing graphics.
39:12Can you do a bird sound? What are you doing?
39:15Well, we didn't hear anything. You were just making faces.
39:18Give me your best bird sound real quick. I can't.
39:21Bird sound. I don't know. It's great. I go like that.
39:24That's a bird. Okay. And then how about a Turkey?
39:27Like, I can do the angels in the outfield thing.
39:30It's a great bird. It's a really great bird.
39:33This is what happens on the show. Especially. We just get, we hang out with people.
39:37We get loopy and stuff. Mowgli. What's up, dude?
39:40Hey guys. I'm in this massive 40 team draft.
39:43And we have four, we have four 10 team drafts.
39:46So it's all separate. And it seems like the trend has been going heavy RB early.
39:50But I remember Pat Fitzmore saying that wide receiver isn't as deep as we think it is with all the two tight ends that's coming in.
39:58And with these bigger leagues, it seems like you have to go against what everybody else is doing.
40:03And when I looked around, I'm the only one that has a heavy wide receiver set.
40:08And I drafted Bijan at the two spot. AJ Brown fell to me in the second.
40:13Olave in the third. I took Loveland in the fourth.
40:16With Zay and, uh, Zay Flowers and Christian Watson following that up.
40:19Love it. Um, the, I have Tootin as my RB2 and Brooks and Henderson backing them up.
40:24So the analyzer said that if I were to trade Bijan back to Jamar Chase, just one spot, I would go up about 5%.
40:31And that just feels wrong. But I'd be going so much deeper into that advantage where everybody else has gone the other way.
40:38So I, I kind of want to know how far do I push my advantage there?
40:43And then if I trade off a couple of the bottom guys, say like Watson or Dubes or, and maybe get a
40:49middle of the pack running back, or do I stick with Bijan and just kind of ride that out?
40:55Let's stop for a second. Um, you're okay. Cause it was a very funny ride.
40:59You took us on, you're like a 40 man league and Erickson were like, I were like, what?
41:04And then you're like, but it's four 10 man leagues.
41:07So what is the context of the, cause you were comparing it against all the others.
41:12Is it like 10 weeks and then everybody goes like, just explain that.
41:16So we have an understanding of how I assume that there's duplicate players, right?
41:20Yes. There's four of each player. And what we'll do is we'll, we'll play everybody in our draft.
41:25And then we play weeks, uh, 10, 11, and 12 against the draft pick in all the other leagues.
41:31And then it sets up just like the NFL has it, where you have AFC with seven playoff teams and it works
41:37its way out the same way as the NFL does it.
41:40And so essentially what he is suggesting is getting to the playoff pools.
41:44He will have a roster that is different from everyone else's because it's so much wide receiver heavy versus the running back heavier teams.
41:51And that's what helps separate him. So very much a Ricky Bobby, your first, your last kind of like a best ball
41:58kind of tournament strategy a little bit here where everyone is zigging.
42:01He is zagging so that all he has to do is get to the final and his roster would just be different.
42:08So while everyone is relying out. Yeah. Yes. So I like that idea of leaning into that.
42:13My only question with the Bijan versus chase, which I'm more open to that conversation.
42:17Can you like, who are you not starting then?
42:20Because it's only a 10 team league. Does this mean like Zay flowers is now just like a bench guy or was a wide receiver in a flex?
42:28It's three wide receiver in a flex. So it'd probably be Watson.
42:31If I made that trade, it'd be Watson probably getting pushed off.
42:35But. And then you're starting. And then you're starting tootin is your one.
42:39And then your two is what? Like either Travion or Jonathan Brooks.
42:42Yeah. Yeah. But I also have extra wide receivers to trade for maybe a middle of the pack RB to somewhere L.
42:49Did you say it's just like if. Yes. Full PPR.
42:52Okay. I guess for me, it's like if you're thinking about then trading for another running back, then you should have just kept a Bijan.
42:59You know what I mean? Does that make sense?
43:02Like I would rather be trading for Bijan than an RB2 because RB2 is the most replaceable spot in your lineup.
43:08Yeah. And let me throw this at you as well.
43:11Could you take one of those replaceable wide receivers or a Watson and then maybe a Tootin and upgrade their wide receiver?
43:17Do you get what I'm throwing at you? Like, could you take you think your league you could take Tootin and Watson
43:24and push up and get a Drake London? You know, I mean, I guess it's 10 man league, so people probably value depth less.
43:31But like, could that be an approach where you upgrade a really great wide receiver there?
43:35And then now you're putting out Bijan and be in the second running back instead of Tootin is now Travion or Jonathan Brooks.
43:42Or do you think that's just not possible in your league?
43:45Probably not. The way that they, they attacked running back is they're going to probably hold on to him.
43:51So I, yeah. Okay. Well, I mean, you're asking for a wide receiver in that one because you're trading, but you're trading
43:57a running back, but I kind of get what you're saying.
44:01I would just, I mean, I would keep Bijan.
44:03And I still like, I mean, just because you have Bijan doesn't mean that your receivers aren't still good.
44:09Right. And the fact that he was talking about, okay, well, once I make this trade, then I'll trade for a worse
44:15running back with, with all the wide receivers I have.
44:18When again, making another bird analogy, just take the bird in hand with you already have Bijan.
44:23So don't make another trade if you don't have to, if you're just going to be looking for a running back anyway.
44:30So I would stay put and just embrace having Bijan as your hero RB still loaded at wide receiver across the board.
44:36So that's, that's my approach and full PPR still is great for Bijan.
44:40Yeah. I mean, I think there's also, I mean, there's a little bit of a value thing.
44:45And like, I understand that the trade analyzer said that, but like, there's like this structural like value of like one, two,
44:51three, and how much more of an advantage they kind of are that I guess what I'm trying to say is I
44:58don't think I a hundred percent agree that it's like a 5% more boost or whatever for getting chase over Bijan.
45:04Like I'm not a big fan of zero RB builds, like true zero RB.
45:08I like the hero build here. You have this running back that is going to carry you.
45:13You did a great job at wide receiver. I do understand the pivot, but maybe the pivot is more important to look at mid season.
45:20Maybe you try to make that trade a little bit later when, you know, someone else is losing a wide receiver.
45:27So, you know what I'm saying? Like if you want to play that pivot game, maybe you need to attack that in week three or four.
45:34Um, then doing that against Bijan because Bijan and like, I'm taking Bijan over chase.
45:39It's a really interesting strategy question. It's a very interesting league, totally different take.
45:43I love the idea of it. And I think you're on the right track.
45:47I think we both agree though, that we're running out Bijan, but I totally get it.
45:52Kind of a cool format. We do similar things like that.
45:55Sometimes here at pros in those leagues where you have the all play and you want to have the, not, not the same players and stuff like that.
46:03That's, that's kind of fun. That's interesting. All right.
46:06A couple more here. We got a couple more people in the queue.
46:09Uh, Frankie, Frankie love that. I click it properly.
46:12What's up, Frankie. If you come on down, there you go.
46:15What up? You guys hear me? Yeah, we got you, man.
46:19Uh, yeah. Sorry. I'm out of work and listen to you guys.
46:22Um, all good. Yeah. I, uh, I was wondering, um, a couple of weeks ago, I asked you for advice, but now
46:29I got the picks in, uh, what, what place I was going to be at on these two leagues.
46:34So I'm pick five and a 12, 12 man, two flex.
46:37Uh, and, um, and then in the super flex, you guys answered.
46:41I was, and now I'm pick eight. Um, I was thinking about, I mean, the typical, yeah, you, you do whatever receiver
46:47falls to you in the first, uh, uh, 12 man, um, uh, regular PPR.
46:51But, uh, would I be crazy if I, uh, go for the next best running back and go, cause I feel like
46:58the running backs, the way the guys are, they're going to go to back to back running back.
47:03And then unless I might get lucky with a Ken Walker to drop or I'm going to be looking at maybe chase
47:10Brown as my number one running back and not saying that I don't like them.
47:14I mean, I just, I just, that'll be my RB one.
47:17So you're pretty much having the decision to like Ken Walker slash chase Brown or like a Justin Jefferson.
47:23Yeah. Yeah. Maybe. Or just go to two receivers in that league.
47:26And if it's best available and then on the third round, just hopefully get a Javante Williams or something to maybe drop
47:33to me and, and then just, just, just play by ears.
47:36And I don't want to go like you guys were just talking about.
47:40I don't want to go zero, zero RV and at the count on somebody like Jonathan Brooks or something to possibly be
47:46my RB two or RB possibly a one by the end of the year.
47:50I'm trying to get a, I still like, I like to go out the running backs, but I didn't land in that position.
47:57I landed in five, how we chose, but to the super flex, I'm the number eight.
48:02I was thinking about not even just doing best available.
48:05Like I, if I can get like a, you know, top receiver or get a lucky with a running back, but people go quarterback heavy.
48:12That, that was my route with that. I was looking, doing a lot of mocks and laying a lot of drafts through your guys.
48:19Uh, you know, uh, through fantasy pros. And I noticed that, uh, you know, my teams weren't looking bad with a bow next and Baker Mayfield.
48:27I mean, I just don't know what your opinion on that either.
48:30Yeah. Okay. So hold on for a back. Yeah.
48:33There's a lot there. You got to stop for a second.
48:36The first part I'm now confused. I thought you said the normal PPR, you were eight and you were thinking about.
48:42No, no, I'm five. So you want to take a Ken Walker or something over a wide receiver at five.
48:48No, he, he wants to take a, here, I think I understand.
48:52So he wants to want, he's wondering if he should take a running back like Taylor or cook instead of a wide
48:58receiver or take the receiver and then take chase Brown or Ken Walker in round two.
49:03Okay. Okay. The eight, which is what I would do.
49:06That's I would take Jonathan Taylor over or chase.
49:08I would take those guys first and then take the running back in round two.
49:13Okay. Me too. Yeah. The super flex was picky of a 12 man.
49:17No, super flex is 10 man. Sorry. 10 man is a super flex.
49:21I was picky. I was going to, my question was, would I be, would it be, would you recommend to get a
49:27top QB or is it okay to punt a little bit and go with like a bow next to Baker Mayfield?
49:33That's my question. Yeah. I would do the latter.
49:36A hundred thousand percent. Yeah. The best player available, whether it's chase B genre Gibbs, because sometimes those guys fall in the
49:42super flex format and you can totally work with those other quarterbacks.
49:46Quarterback is so deep and yeah. It's not even a question in a 10 man.
49:50A hundred percent. First two picks. I'm going to go with best positional players and you're going to have awesome dudes.
49:56And then third, fourth round is where I'll start paying attention to what quarterbacks are out there.
50:01But if there's still two good positional players in a 10 man, you can still do it.
50:06Cause I could live with a golf and what was the, was it?
50:10Chinzer earlier. No, no. I understand that. But like Chinzer was saying he had like Jared Goff and Malik Willis.
50:16I could live with that if I had to, if I had amazing positional players.
50:20It's funny on the new Orleans radio hit, they asked me why I was so low on Tyler shock.
50:26Cause I have met like QB 21. And I was very bluntly honest and said, I got nothing against it.
50:32And it's just, there's a lot of quarterbacks I like this year, which is why he just falls and he lost Jordan Tyson.
50:39That was the only reason why. One less weapon.
50:41A hundred percent. Yeah. So yeah. And then like, maybe it's just my fault.
50:45Again, my brain, I got very lost in the beginning of what he was saying, but it ends up looking like he was the five spot.
50:53We both agree. We're not taking the running back.
50:56We're taking the great wide receiver that falls there, whether it's Puka, JSN or Amon Ra.
51:00One of Puka or JSN or one of yeah.
51:03Puka, JSN, Amon Ra have to be there. And I personally would take Amon Ra unless Puka falls.
51:08Cause I know he sometimes falls. But yeah, I'm taking whichever wide receivers there and I'm not worrying about the running back in that.
51:15All right. Let's do a lightning round on these so we can do our sleepers real quick after Sully.
51:21What's up, dude? Hey guys. Um, my league switched to an extra flex position this year.
51:26Um, so just wanted your guys' opinion on kind of like draft strategy.
51:29I'm guessing kind of like late quarterback. Um, and then kind of just go wide receiver heavy.
51:34Uh, what do you think Erickson? What's the rest of the starting lineup?
51:38If you can throw it in the chat, is it three receivers now, two flexes?
51:43Was there already a flex spot? That's the only question that I would be, uh, interested in.
51:48He's typing in right now. Just so I understand the full scope of the lineup.
51:52I think for me, the onesie positions stand out less basically when there are more starting spots because you have more ground to fill.
51:59So two receivers, two running backs, two flex, one tight end, one quarterback.
52:03So kind of essentially like a three wide receiver, except it can be a running back.
52:07I mean, I think that it makes you just go.
52:10You can do best player available. I guess I wouldn't prioritize elite tight end as much and definitely would be punting quarterback.
52:17Nosti, get these last two and into our sleepers here.
52:20What's up, Nosti? Come on down. What's up? You don't hear me?
52:23Yeah, we got you, man. Mm-hmm. Cool. Um, so I'm in a, uh, 12 team keeper league and I just have a
52:30couple of keeper questions or one keeper question. Uh, it's two keepers.
52:33Um, I'm keeping Kenneth Walker with a third round pick.
52:36And then I have a decision between Igbuka in the fifth or Loveland in the 10th.
52:41Paper. I'm like, Loveland in the 10th seems obvious, but then I'm like, position, scarcity, opportunity cost.
52:46Does Igbuka in the fifth make sense too? I feel like I'm overthinking it with Loveland, not just being in the 10th, but.
52:53Loveland. Yeah. Erickson's not letting you overthink it. Yeah.
52:55I would, I was going to say Igbuka, but then the 10 is too much for Loveland.
53:00So yeah. The thing is you can probably draft Igbuka potentially in the fourth round anyway.
53:05Probably. So maybe you can't get Loveland anywhere near the 10th round.
53:09Yeah. Yeah. No, it's Loveland. That's too good of a deal.
53:12Too good. Uh, Jay Sparks, final one up here.
53:14What you got, dude? What's up guys? You hear me okay?
53:18As very much. I got to stop duty. I'm duding a lot today.
53:21So what is up my friend? Awesome. Um, 12 team full PPR redraft, uh, trade question.
53:26Um, went wide receiver heavy. So looking to upgrade my RB two spot and, um, basically sacrifice on my TV a little
53:33bit, but trade is tootin, which is currently an RB two, um, Kincaid, probably into, and then Jaden Daniels, um, for a Saquon.
53:39I'm just not sure how you guys feel about Saquon this year.
53:43You said single quarterback? Single. Yep. I am. I do that deal.
53:46If you can move, move ponies for a horse.
53:49Well, Daniels and tootin aren't, uh, little ponies. I show ponies there.
53:53I mean, Daniels, I, we talked about Daniels as a potential landmine.
53:56So just getting him off the books kind of seems like, right?
54:00Sweet. I'd rather have Barkley than tootin and Kincaid is just nothing burger.
54:03Yeah. I mean, so I think this is easy.
54:06That's a big upgrade. That is. And I'm not, and I'm not, I'm hardly like the Saquon Barkley guy.
54:12Like I'm lower on him versus consensus, but I acknowledge he's probably going to have a year that's better than last year, but worse than 2024.
54:19And I would rather have that at that price for tootin, Kincaid and Jaden Daniels.
54:24Okie dokie. Uh, great questions from all of you guys.
54:27We appreciate it. That takes us to the final thing in this show.
54:30We are doing our final updated sleepers, final updated sleepers for the year.
54:34Erickson, we did have to make a few changes and there are a few changes on the board.
54:39So we gave it to you in the last episode.
54:42Who are sleepers were, uh, quickly quarterback. Did you make any change to your sleepers?
54:47We both had, I believe Kyler and Malik Willis.
54:49No, I did not change anything. I mean, it's, I'm like so tempted by like guys like golf and Jordan love because
54:56it's like, if they just throw the ball more, you could see with the weapons, but the rushing with these two guys
55:02is too hard to fade in my opinion. And when I look at Kyler too, his schedule is set up really, really well.
55:09If he comes out decent against the green Bay Packers, you don't have Micah Parsons.
55:14He plays the bears in week two. So there's a chance where Kyler is off to a really, really hot start.
55:20And I mean, that's pretty typical of Kyler. So he's my number one.
55:23And Malik Willis because of his rushing is number two.
55:26Let's get tight end out of the way. Did you make any changes?
55:30I, I, Juwan Johnson and Dulcich is my two sleeper tight end.
55:34Did you make any changes there? Uh, I did not make any changes.
55:38I have kept those guys in there. We do have a question about Juwan Johnson over Tucker craft this week in week one from French toast them.
55:46And yeah, I would go Juwan. Honestly, I think that his projection is way safer than Tucker craft for week one.
55:52I'm cool with it. But like Tucker crafts can have two touchdowns in the first week and we're going to be like, Oh dang it.
55:59Like he plays 50 or he plays 50% of the snaps.
56:02And guess what? Like 50% are all going to be in the red zone.
56:06And like in the red zone, it's going to be a hundred percent of those 50% snaps will be in the red zone.
56:13So there's touchdown equity, but if it's full PPR, like Juwan Johnson's going to get targets.
56:18So I'm cool with it, but I'm still Tucker craft running back.
56:21This is where the changes start to happen. I don't know.
56:25I think, uh, I had Jonah Coleman at number one last time you had him at like two or three, and then
56:31you were going to move them up to one.
56:34What is your top four, uh, sleeper running backs look like now?
56:37So Lloyd, it's gotta be number one. That's goes without saying.
56:40Jonah Coleman tank, Bigsby, Dylan Sampson are my four.
56:43Uh, say it again. You did quick. Lloyd was one.
56:46Who was two Lloyd Coleman and Bigsby Dylan Sampson.
56:49Okay. We have the same top two. Lloyd does have to go to one just because like, if Jacobs is out for the season, he gets that run.
56:57I completely agree. Jonah Coleman is still my two because I think Jonah Coleman can take that job.
57:02Um, things kind of open up a little bit.
57:05You said tank Bigsby. I really like that. I, I kind of think tank, I don't know, Barkley goes down.
57:11This is going to blow this away. So I kind of wish I did put them on here, but I got Mike Washington still.
57:18Like I think Mike Washington is just going to get run this year.
57:21Good. I know. I think, cause that's the one guy I struggled to kind of keep off because you have this Ashton Gentry ankle injury thing.
57:29Is it going to go into the season? They're talking about Ashton Gentry or Mike Washington having a role alongside Ashton Gentry.
57:36But then I think about, well, who's better tank tank Bigsby or Mike Washington?
57:40Yeah. And I completely agree. I'm sure tank Bigsby is better.
57:43I do agree with that. I'm pretty sure he's better.
57:46Like, so that's ultimately why I opted for Bigsby, especially because he's the Eagles offense.
57:50And I mean, there were also talks about tank Bigsby having some type of standalone role too.
57:55I know it obviously doesn't hold as much weight as the Mike Washington hive has been, especially with the Gentry injury.
58:01But Barkley's no spring chicken. He's an older running back.
58:04If he gets banged up, I think tank would just be a smash.
58:08So, and I guess I feel like I'm being a little bit different there.
58:12I would imagine tank's not as super highly ranked in a lot of the sleeper rankings compared to Mike Washington.
58:18So kind of like a contrarian approach on what do I win when I win?
58:22If tank does hit, that's a big win for my quote unquote sleeper points.
58:27Yeah. And then kind of in the same vein, my fourth is Caleb Johnson.
58:31I don't like having two backers on here. Put him in there.
58:34Yeah. I think I got him in there because like he was running with ones right out the gate.
58:40If Jacobs is out all year, Lloyd has, I mean, Lloyd's sitting out there just like, I'm just happy to be here.
58:46You know what I mean? He's just like, I haven't played.
58:49I just want to be here. I'll do anything.
58:52Like Caleb Johnson might be a guy that gets run.
58:55So you're the same version of what you just did.
58:58Caleb Johnson's kind of my protection because I don't know if he's going to be on a lot of those lists.
59:04So that's our running back changes. Let's talk about the wide receiver changes.
59:08Did you make any and what is your wide receiver sleepers look like now?
59:12We have four. I did not make any changes.
59:15It's still digs. Shahid, Stribbling, and I'm just going to go down with the ship of Trey Harris, whether it works or not.
59:21So he's just, he's my guy. See what happens.
59:24He's my, but that's why he's number four. Cause he's definitely my light, my least conviction pick, but more of my truth
59:31or status for Trey Harris and his chargers offense.
59:33I made one change and it's my bottom one.
59:36So I still have my four. I've got Stefan Diggs at one.
59:39And Dijon Stribbling at two. Debo Samuel at three.
59:42But my new change is Chris Bell. I think Chris Bell is going to become the number one in that Dolphins offense.
59:48You know, that might still be like wide receiver 40 or something like that at the end of the day.
59:54But I think he's going to be littered with targets.
59:57That's one of my big sleeper guys this year.
60:00And that's going to be my sleeper wide receiver.
60:03So those are the changes. You make any, do you want to give anybody kicker defense type of stuff?
60:08Do you, do you live in that world? Um, I'm kind of like, well, cause the way that the rankings work, you have a certain pool.
60:16The Ravens are the top one. And I, I feel like they're my highest ranked defense.
60:20So I feel like I should put them in there just because I think that they are probably going to score the most points, but I don't know.
60:29I'm just really intrigued by the lions and the fact that they're going to play in a bunch of shootouts and they're
60:35probably going to give up a lot of points, but I feel like they're going to get a lot of turnovers.
60:41I think Hutchinson is going to have a monster season.
60:44So I'll just keep the lions. There'll be bottom five and points allowed, but there'll be top five and turnovers.
60:50And that's all that matters for fantasy. You sneaky, sneaky, little different defensive ranker.
60:54All right, there you go. Uh, that is everything.
60:57Thank you guys for all hanging out with us.
60:59Awesome job on everybody in the audience coming up.
61:02Great questions. Lots of good theory, fun stuff as well.
61:05Yeah, I'm all into the fun for this season.
61:08I'm doing some new different things. You don't think I'm doing Erickson.
61:11I'm doing a touchdown survivor pool, which I'm super excited about.
61:14This made me think, why do you shake your head like that?
61:18You don't, you don't like that? Well, no, no.
61:21I mean, I'm just saying there's going to, there's just so many things that you wanted, that you want to do, like
61:27collectively, like when the games are on, it's just, it's for me, I'm, I'm having trouble, like keeping track of everything.
61:33I'm like, I got to do this. Got to do my survivor.
61:37Got to do the, my flex bet. I got to do all that.
61:41I'm like, oh no, I'm going to run out of time.
61:44I like, I like the uniqueness. And it made me think of, um, I'm forgetting who it was, but the, the guy
61:50that had the 40 man league, uh, was it Frankie?
61:53Maybe, uh, the 40 man league is cool. I like unique different things and I'm kind of digging into some of those
62:00this year by I'm doing a touchdown survivor. I'm interested in doing like a best ball chopped type of league elimination league.
62:06You know what I'm saying? Like those, I want to do a couple of those to kind of add into the fun,
62:13uh, cause it's meant to be fun, man. Have some fricking fun with your season.
62:17We all take it serious, but you have your big home leagues come in and hang out with us.
62:23Let us help you out, but also do some cool, unique, different things.
62:26And that's got me kind of jammed in with it.
62:29And the next time we talk to you, we're going to be talking to you about in season stuff.
62:35We're going to be telling you don't talk about Thursday night football on the next episode, because it'll be next Thursday at 2 PM Eastern.

63:00And hopefully you guys enjoyed that and feel free, drop your Mandela effect things in here.
63:04I know Erickson's so excited. We stopped talking about it, but it's all I'm going to do.
63:09As soon as we get off here, I'm going to be actually doing our fantasy pros elimination draft that I'm in right now.
63:16And by the way, I got Puka, maybe a little dangerous.
63:19I got him at five, but he fell down there.
63:22And if he doesn't play the week one, somehow he were out week one, that would be a big problem, but I'm
63:29going to go with Puka, but I'm going to do this and I'm going to read about Mandela effects.
63:34That's all that I want to do. So hopefully we hear from you guys.
63:39We love you guys. Good luck in your final drafts if you got it this weekend, and we will talk to you
