A.J. Brown

PositiveValue49:22

The source identifies AJ Brown as receiving a good discount in the draft market and projects an increase in pass volume with Drake Maye at quarterback; the Patriots' improved ceiling for pass attempts and more difficult schedule should support higher volume, making an AJ Brown and Drake Maye stack viable in super flex formats.

Insight page
PositiveValue50:32

A.J. Brown is identified as a top-tier wide receiver option for premium stacking strategies; the source groups him with elite receivers like CeeDee Lamb and suggests pairing him with elite quarterbacks for high-upside stack construction.

Insight page

Antonio Williams

NegativeRole0:10

The source mentions Antonio Williams as a potential second tight end option but cautions against depending on a rookie, suggesting he be treated as a late-round stab rather than a primary target.

Insight page

Ashton Jeanty

PositiveRole51:56

Ashton Jeanty is referenced as a featured running back; the source uses him as an example of a primary back where a handcuff like Mike Washington is more valuable than a secondary tight end, indicating confidence in Jeanty's role and the value of securing his backup.

Insight page

Breece Hall

PositiveRole0:04

The source identifies Breece Hall as the only Jets running back offering standalone fantasy value outside of the team's stated desire for a three-headed monster backfield approach; this suggests Hall is the primary back to target in New York.

Insight page

Brian Thomas Jr.

NegativeRole27:57

Brian Thomas Jr. is expected to be the wide receiver in 13 personnel, which may limit opportunities for other receivers like Jacoby Myers and Parker Washington. However, the source notes there is potential bounce back for BTJ, and over the back half of last season the alignment of Myers and BTJ on the outside with Parker Washington in the slot was really effective. The source views BTJ as a flex option with high upside potential, not a WR1 or WR2, given that offensive coordinator Liam Cohen shifts targets according to defenses faced.

Insight page
PositiveBreakout30:00

The source identifies a potential bounce-back opportunity for Brian Thomas Jr., though notes that Liam Cohen's offensive scheme distributes targets across receivers based on defensive matchups rather than creating one dominant target hog, making all receivers viable at different points.

Insight page

Brock Bowers

PositiveProjection0:13

The source places Brock Bowers in a 1A tier of his own at tight end, separating him from the second tier; indicates elite-level projection and draft priority among tight ends.

Insight page
PositiveRole52:53

Brock Bowers is cited as an elite tight end option; the source indicates that if drafting Bowers, there is no need to back him up with a secondary tight end option, reflecting confidence in his elite status and role.

Insight page

CeeDee Lamb

PositiveValue50:32

CeeDee Lamb is cited as a premium wide receiver option worthy of pairing with elite quarterbacks in stacking strategies; the source groups him with top-tier receivers like AJ Brown as part of high-upside stack construction.

Insight page

Chigoziem Okonkwo

PositiveBreakout0:10

The source identifies Chig Okonkwo as a strong second-look target at tight end, highlighting his ability to convert 60-plus receptions into significant after-the-catch production; positioned as a late-round value play with breakout potential if he can maintain pass volume.

Insight page
PositiveSleeper9:18

Chig Okonkwo is a fine late-round target and streaming option; while not a massive target hog in Tennessee due to offense situation and low pass volume, the source believes he has the opportunity to step in with relevance in Washington and could turn 60-plus receptions into production after the catch, unlike previous Commanders tight end Zacherts who was limited by age and athleticism.

Insight page

Chris Rodriguez

NegativeRole31:54

The source clarifies Chris Rodriguez's role: he is an early-down and goal-line back without the capabilities to be a three-down back. The source also downplays the significance of his college connection to Liam Cohen, noting that Cohen drafted Baysial Tootin last year and showed significant trust in him, suggesting that prior connection may be overblown relative to Cohen's demonstrated preference for Tootin.

Insight page

Christian McCaffrey

NegativeBust53:42

Christian McCaffrey carries significant injury risk despite elite upside; the source notes that while McCaffrey has produced two RB1 seasons with egregious touch volume, he has a history of not making it a quarter of the way through the season after those high-volume campaigns, suggesting historical odds do not favor his durability going forward.

Insight page

Chuba Hubbard

NegativeRole1:55

Hubbard carried the workload last season but was hurt early and dragged that injury throughout the rest of the season; the Panthers extended him and made him a team captain in the offseason, indicating they like him and will give him every opportunity first, though the source notes he's not exciting this season.

Insight page

Cole Kmet

NegativeInjury43:03

The source identifies Cole Kmet as a tight end coming off a major Achilles injury, creating uncertainty about his availability and production. This injury concern contributes to the source's view that tight end is a priority position to address early in drafts.

Insight page

Colston Loveland

PositiveProjection0:13

The source includes Colston Loveland in the first tier of tight ends alongside Bowers, McBride, and Warren, indicating strong draft priority and projection.

Insight page

Dak Prescott

PositiveValue43:03

The source identifies Dak Prescott as a quarterback with significant upside going in rounds 9-11, presenting him as a high-end quarterback option that offers dependable production and a nice week-to-week bump.

Insight page
PositiveValue50:32

Dak Prescott is mentioned as a top-tier quarterback option for stacking strategies in fantasy drafts; the source suggests pairing elite QBs like Dak with premium receivers (Pickens, Lamb, or AJ Brown) as a viable approach when pursuing high-upside stacks.

Insight page

Dalton Kincaid

NegativeUsage43:03

The source questions whether Dalton Kincaid will get more than 50% of the snaps in any games this year, indicating significant uncertainty about his playing time and role with his team.

Insight page

Denzel Boston

PositiveValue20:39

Boston can be drafted later than Casey Concepcion despite similar ADP, making him a better value target. The source prefers Boston because of the draft-round savings, though both are viable options. Boston has potential to outplay Jerry Judy and push into a meaningful role alongside Harold Fannin Jr.

Insight page

Deshaun Watson

NegativeProjection22:37

Watson's performance level is a key variable for the Cleveland offense; the source notes that Todd Monken as offensive coordinator should extract more from the quarterback position than Kevin Stefanski did, but the actual output depends on Watson's play. The mystery is what level of production Monken can achieve with Watson or backup Shadar.

Insight page

DK Metcalf

PositiveRole46:47

DK Metcalf was the only reliable receiver Aaron Rodgers trusted during his time with the Jets, as Rodgers had low confidence in other receivers and avoided throwing to them; Metcalf's reliability made him the exception in an otherwise checkdown-heavy offense.

Insight page

Drake London

NegativeMatchup0:12

The source notes that Tua Tagovailoa may be a better fit for Kyle Pitts than Drake London, suggesting the quarterback change could benefit tight ends more than wide receivers in the Falcons offense.

Insight page

Drake Maye

NegativeValue40:34

The source mentions Drake Maye as an example of a quarterback being taken early in drafts, used to illustrate the strategy of potentially fading early quarterback runs and pushing quarterback selection back to double-digit rounds instead.

Insight page
PositiveProjection49:25

Drake Maye is projected to have a better ceiling for pass volume in 2026 compared to 2025; the Patriots' more difficult schedule and improved receiving options should drive higher pass attempts, supporting a stack strategy with AJ Brown in super flex leagues.

Insight page

Harold Fannin

PositiveProjection0:13

The source includes Harold Fannin Jr. in the second tier of tight ends (Kraft, Fannin, Pitts, Laporta), indicating solid draft value and projection.

Insight page
NegativeRole21:28

Fannin Jr. is locked in as the primary tight end option in the Cleveland offense; the source confirms his role is secure and established.

Insight page

Isaiah Davis

NegativeDepth Chart3:05

The source read that Isaiah Davis might have the inside track on the number two job with the Jets, though the source expresses skepticism about offseason beat writer reports, noting that such reports are often pandering for clicks and historically unreliable.

Insight page

Jake Ferguson

NegativeDepth Chart43:03

The source states that Jake Ferguson is now 'way buried in the pecking order' due to Javante being good, Pickens surging, and CD Lamb being healthy this year, indicating a significant decline in his role and fantasy relevance.

Insight page
NegativeDepth Chart44:07

Ferguson is now buried in the tight end pecking order due to Javante's strong performance, Pickens' surge, and CD Lamb's expected health return; the source views him as an easy fade relative to quarterback in late-round decisions.

Insight page

Jared Goff

PositiveValue42:00

The source highlights Jared Goff as a high-upside, stable quarterback option with schedule advantage; Goff has a lot of nice dome games towards the back half of the season, making him a viable late-round quarterback option as part of a strategy to push quarterback selection back.

Insight page

Jayden Daniels

NegativeProjection7:02

Looking at Jaden Daniels' rookie season (disregarding last season due to insufficient playing time), the source leans toward the early-down back in the Commanders backfield rather than relying on Rashad White for volume, suggesting Daniels' rookie-year usage patterns may inform the 2026 backfield approach.

Insight page
NegativeValue40:34

The source mentions Jaden Daniels as an example of a quarterback being taken early in drafts, used to illustrate the strategy of potentially fading early quarterback runs and pushing quarterback selection back to double-digit rounds instead.

Insight page

Jaylen Warren

NegativeRole0:05

The source notes that JCM (Jaylen Warren) could be a great receiving back in Washington, but only if Rashad White is not in the picture; with White securing the receiving role, Warren's upside is limited despite his potential as a pass-catching option.

Insight page
PositiveRole12:58

The source favors Jalen Warren as the lead back in the Steelers backfield over Rico Jones, citing Warren's superior efficiency metrics and historical pattern of winning the job when doubted; Warren showed better performance than Rico in most efficiency categories except rushes inside the five, and the source believes the Steelers' more vertical passing offense will benefit Warren's receiving role.

Insight page
NegativeRole46:47

Warren is projected to handle third-down and reception work in Pittsburgh's backfield split with Rico Dowdle; however, the source cautions that overall receptions to the running back position will likely decline due to improved receiver options (Michael Pittman, Jeremy Bernard) reducing Aaron Rodgers' checkdown dependency from his time with the Jets.

Insight page

Jerry Jeudy

NegativeRole21:35

Judy is at risk of being outplayed by rookie receivers Casey Concepcion and Denzel Boston in the Cleveland offense. Despite his contract keeping him on the roster, both rookies have the potential to surpass him in playing time and production.

Insight page

Jonathon Brooks

PositiveRole1:00

Brooks is in training camp and the Panthers want to get him involved right off the bat from a receiving perspective; the source is excited to see how long he can stay healthy and what kind of role he'll have, noting that Carolina's run-heavy approach means the run game matters significantly for the team's outlook.

Insight page
NegativeDepth Chart1:55

The source notes that Chuba Hubbard carried the workload last season and was hurt early, with the Panthers extending him and making him a team captain in the offseason, suggesting they'll give him every opportunity first; however, the NFL is a meritocracy and if Brooks can't make it work, it doesn't matter how popular Hubbard is—the cream will rise to the top, and that might be Brooks.

Insight page

Jordan James

PositiveRole53:13

Jordan James is preferred over Kalen Black as the San Francisco backup running back; the source explicitly states a preference for James, suggesting he has more upside or role security as a handcuff in the 49ers backfield.

Insight page

Justin Herbert

PositiveValue42:00

The source identifies Justin Herbert as a quarterback available at value in double-digit rounds, recommending drafters grab him if the opportunity arises when other league mates are pushing quarterback selection back.

Insight page

Kaytron Allen

NegativeRole0:05

The source indicates that Katron Allen may take on the goal-line back role (similar to Chris Rodriguez's previous role) in Washington, but notes that his ADP is not so bad that drafting him late would be a disaster; the source is neutral on his upside given the backfield uncertainty.

Insight page
NegativeRole6:41

The source identifies Katron Allen as a player to monitor in training camp alongside JCM to determine the backfield pecking order in Washington, suggesting uncertainty about his role in the committee approach.

Insight page

Kyle Pitts

PositiveProjection0:44

The source rates Kyle Pitts as tight end six in ECR, expressing confidence in his 100-plus target baseline under Kevin Stefanski, who has a strong history of targeting tight ends at a 30% clip; notes that Tua Tagovailoa may be a better fit than Kirk Cousins for Pitts' production, though he's pushed back in rankings due to deep tight end class with multiple 100-plus target options.

Insight page

Lamar Jackson

NegativeValue40:34

The source mentions Lamar Jackson as an example of a quarterback being taken early in drafts, used to illustrate the strategy of potentially fading early quarterback runs and pushing quarterback selection back to double-digit rounds instead.

Insight page

LeQuint Allen

NegativeRole31:54

The source notes that LaQuint Allen Jr. was utilized from a third-down perspective last season and is a good blocker, positioning him as a potential third-down back. However, the source questions whether he can be a true three-down back given that Baysial Tootin had the ground preference over him last year.

Insight page

Mark Andrews

NegativeProjection43:03

The source notes that Mark Andrews had a down year and is likely moving to the Giants, creating uncertainty about his role and production going forward. This uncertainty contributes to the source's view that tight end is a priority position to address early in drafts.

Insight page

Michael Pittman

PositiveRole46:47

Michael Pittman has been added to the Colts and the source reports hearing positive things about his fit; his addition is expected to reduce checkdown volume to running backs as Aaron Rodgers will have more reliable receiver options over the middle, shifting target distribution away from the backfield.

Insight page

Mike Washington Jr.

PositiveRole51:59

Mike Washington is identified as a valuable handcuff to Ashton Jeanty; the source prefers holding Mike Washington as a backup to Jeanty over carrying a secondary tight end, indicating confidence that Washington will receive meaningful touches if Jeanty is unavailable.

Insight page

Parker Washington

NegativeRole27:57

Parker Washington is a darling in the fantasy community and should be, but the shift to 13 personnel with Brian Thomas Jr. as the primary wide receiver in that package hurts his opportunity. The source questions whether there will be enough opportunity for Washington, Myers, and BTJ combined. However, over the back half of last season the alignment of Myers and BTJ on the outside with Washington in the slot was really effective, and the source views Washington as a flex option with viability given the offensive coordinator's tendency to shift targets by defense.

Insight page
NegativeRole30:19

The source likes Parker Washington but flags uncertainty around his role: Jacksonville has been evasive about confirming whether he will play exclusively on defense or continue playing both ways as originally intended. The source expects Parker Washington to see more offensive snaps than the other two-way player, though that player's presence would specifically affect Washington's offensive involvement.

Insight page

Patrick Mahomes

PositiveValue42:00

The source identifies Patrick Mahomes as a high-upside, stable quarterback option available in double-digit rounds, with the caveat that drafters must be okay with risking injuries. Mahomes is presented as part of a strategy to push quarterback selection back and invest in elite talent at other positions earlier.

Insight page

Rico Dowdle

PositiveRole46:47

The source projects Rico Dowdle as the early-down and goal-line back in Pittsburgh's backfield split with Jalen Warren; this role assignment is the source's lead recommendation for the Pittsburgh running back situation, though the source notes that overall receptions to the running back position will likely decline due to improved receiver options (Michael Pittman, Jeremy Bernard) reducing Aaron Rodgers' checkdown dependency.

Insight page

Sam LaPorta

NegativeValue43:03

The source identifies Sam Laporta as the top tight end option but notes significant questions about his reliability; the source states 'we don't particularly trust Sam Laporta as much as other people do,' indicating the drop-off at tight end is real after him, making tight end a priority position to address early.

Insight page

Stefon Diggs

PositiveRole7:21

The source believes Stefan Diggs would be a nice fit for the Commanders if signed, though notes he has legal issues to resolve that may delay any acquisition; Diggs would presumably address the secondary receiver need behind Terry McLaurin.

Insight page

Tank Bigsby

NegativeDepth Chart0:03

Despite receiving first-team reps in Jacksonville camp, Bigsby is being shipped off, illustrating the source's broader point that first-team reps in camp don't necessarily translate to job security or role retention.

Insight page

Tanner Koziol

PositiveRole27:18

The source loves watching Tanner Kozial play and views him as a goal line tight end option; at 6'8 or 6'9, he is an enormous H-Town product who is fast for his size and frame, similar to Darnell Washington. The Jaguars drafted him as a blocker and goal line weapon, and the team is expected to run 13 personnel more (the Rams ran 33% last season and scored a ton of touchdowns from it).

Insight page

Terry McLaurin

NegativeRole6:41

Terry McLaurin is identified as the only reliable pass catcher in the Commanders offense, with the source noting limited options beyond him and questioning whether other receivers or tight ends will emerge as secondary targets.

Insight page

Travis Etienne

NegativeDepth Chart0:03

Despite first-team reps in camp, the source cautions against reading too much into depth chart positioning; Jacksonville's experience with Tank Bigsby and Basil Tootin showed that first-team reps don't guarantee role security, and the expectation remains that Etienne will retain his primary role with Bigsby shipped off.

Insight page

Travis Hunter

NegativeRole26:38

Travis Hunter is mentioned in context of the Jaguars offense, though the source's specific take on Hunter is cut off mid-sentence in the provided transcript. The source indicates Hunter's arrival may have some impact on the Jaguars' offensive situation.

Insight page
PositiveRole28:15

Travis Hunter might be the best receiver on the Jacksonville team, but he is expected to play primary corner, so his receiving role will be severely limited despite his talent.

Insight page

Travis Kelce

NegativeProjection43:03

The source expresses concern about Travis Kelce's production going forward, noting he will have 'gimpy my homes for a little bit, at least probably,' indicating Patrick Mahomes' injury concerns will impact Kelce's usage and production.

Insight page

Trevor Lawrence

PositiveValue26:46

The source is willing to target Trevor Lawrence in super flex leagues despite avoiding the Jaguars offense otherwise, indicating he views Lawrence as a valuable play in that format.

Insight page
PositiveValue43:03

The source identifies Trevor Lawrence as a quarterback with significant upside going in rounds 9-11, presenting him as a high-end quarterback option that offers dependable production and a nice week-to-week bump.

Insight page

Trey McBride

PositiveProjection0:13

The source places Trey McBride in a 1A tier of his own at tight end, separating him from the second tier; indicates elite-level projection and draft priority among tight ends.

Insight page

Tucker Kraft

PositiveProjection0:36

The source likes Tucker Kraft but notes he's pushed back in tight end rankings due to lower pass volume in his offense and the team's tendency to spread the ball around, despite having 100-plus target upside.

0:04Grainger, for the ones who get it done. Welcome in everybody, it's Fantasy Pros on Twitch.
0:09I'm your host Scott Bogman, joined by Tara Roberts.
0:12I love the R last name. I can give you that Raiders intro, Tara.
0:16We are here to answer your fantasy football questions today for the next hour, but I gotta ask you, how is the Houston summer treating you here, Tara?
0:25We haven't talked in a little bit, and it has been hot and muggy here in H-Town.
0:30It has. Luckily for me, I'm not having to go outside.
0:33I'm avoiding it as much as humanly possible. I would like a little bit of rain, but other than that, I just can't go outside.
0:41I can't even sit on my porch. Like, what is this?
0:44Yeah, it's not, it is not fun. It is the dog days of the heat right now, and it is the dog
0:51days of summer here, and all of our waiting to get, you know, any information here.
0:56What has stood out to you through the early days in camp?
1:00We're getting guys put on NFIs, on the pup, things of that nature.
1:04What has stood out to you so far? You know, the thing that stood out to me today is we're, as I
1:10noticed, we started to get those Carolina hype videos going that Jonathan Brooks news in terms of, hey, you know, he's looking good in training camp and whatnot.
1:19He's actually in training camp. That's the fantastic news because as, you know, as unappealing as Carolina can be, like from a
1:26greater perspective, the run game really does matter there in terms of what that outlook is going to be because they want to be run heavy.
1:34We have a good discount on both Chuba Hubbard and Jonathan Brooks, so someone is going to be good value for us there.
1:41So that's what I'm looking forward to here is seeing how long Jonathan Brooks can stay healthy, what kind of role he's
1:47going to have because it sounds like they want to get him involved right off the bat from a receiving perspective at the very least.
1:55So I'm excited to see how this plays out.
1:58Yeah, I mean, Jonathan Brooks has been a point of contention a little bit with myself and Fitzy, and I'm the Texas
2:05guy, and I've just not been as in on Jonathan Brooks as everybody else.
2:09And I think it's probably because I start from the dynasty perspective in my stuff, right?
2:14Like, is Jonathan Brooks going to be a long term option for the Panthers?
2:18I understand that Chuba Hubbard is not exciting this season.
2:21He's a guy that has carried the workload, and I think he was hurt very early last year and kind of drug
2:28that with him throughout the rest of the season.
2:31And, you know, in the offseason from 24 to 25, they extended him.
2:35They made him a team captain. So they obviously like him.
2:38So I feel like they're going to give him every opportunity first.
2:42But as Tony Romo taught us a long time ago, the NFL is a meritocracy.
2:46And if you can't make it work, it doesn't matter how popular you are and how great of a team leader you are.
2:53If you're that great of a team leader, then go into coaching if you can't play, you know.
2:59So it is going to be the cream that rises to the top, and that might be Jonathan Brooks here.
3:05I was interested to read that Isaiah Davis might have the inside track on the number two job with the Jets.
3:11Now, how do you sort through pandering beat writer nonsense this time of year?
3:16Because, look, they're trying to get clicks like everybody else is.
3:19Is this something that you take with a grain of salt?
3:22Do you give a lot of these reports credit?
3:25You know, because I feel like we can go back to any offseason, look at the reports and see that it's 80%
3:32nonsense, I feel like, most of the time. Yeah, I tried in general, I try to assess how reliable the team as a whole has been.
3:40Like if I look at like, let's look at a team like Jacksonville, right?
3:44Looking back to them and the experience that we had with the whole first team versus second team and Tank Bigsby and
3:51Basial Tootin and Travis Etienne for it to end up just being the expectation of, hey, it's still going to be Travis
3:58Etienne and Tank Bigsby getting shipped off. We have to be careful about looking at these who's getting first team reps and
4:04whatnot and really look at the actual usage of the guys, because a lot of times these teams are trying to work things out.
4:12So just because you see someone running with a certain team doesn't necessarily mean that they've secured a job.
4:17Now for the Jets, though, it is kind of interesting because for years now with Aaron Glenn and just in general, we've
4:24heard like they want to have this three headed monster, right?
4:28And we've always been trying to identify as they're going to be something that we can get on the side here.
4:34And at the end of the day, it's got the same vibes of Kyle Shanahan saying we got to get CMC off the field.
4:41Exactly. And it never happens. Right. So I don't take too much aggressive stock into it.
4:46Handcuffs matter at the end of the day. But really and truly speaking, probably no one else in terms of running backs
4:53outside of Brees Hall is going to offer us any kind of standalone value here.
4:58I'm just going to keep throwing questions out to you unless anyone out here has, you know, if anybody out here has
5:04got some questions for us, we will answer them, throw them in the chat.
5:09But I'm going to keep asking you questions as we go.
5:12Another situation that has vexed me is the Washington running backs.
5:15And I have been it's been tough for me to know what to do with these guys.
5:21And I got hammered a little bit on social media earlier this offseason for saying that I'm just not that into Bill Krosky merit.
5:28Right. Like, I feel like Rashad White is definitely taking the receiving downs away from anybody, any other running back on this team.
5:35I think that's pretty clear. Right. Right. They've spoken about maybe Katron Allen taking the Chris Rodriguez role of the goal line back.
5:42If that's the case, I think JCM could be a great receiving back, but not when you have Rashad White here.
5:48Right. Like and it's not really in his purview.
5:51You know, he didn't do it a lot in college, I guess I should say.
5:56So what are your thoughts on this backfield? Is it still Bill Krosky merit?
6:00I mean, I kind of still expect him to lead in carries.
6:04I just don't know if that means he'll lead in touches.
6:07And are you avoiding this? Is there one that you like?
6:10How do you flesh out the Washington situation here?
6:13Well, none of the ADPs are so bad that I that I think that any one of them is going to be
6:20the worst pick that you've ever made in your life.
6:23Right. Like if I get a question from someone saying I want to take Katron Allen at the end of drafts, I say, go for it, man.
6:31I mean, it's not good. It's not going to kill you.
6:35Right. Something's going to happen there. But the good thing I will say, at least with JCM, is that at the very
6:41least, we have had acknowledgement that one, he clearly knows that he has to make that improvement on pass protection and receiving
6:48to be more reliable in order to have a bigger role in this offense.
6:52And that is something that he's been working on.
6:55So, again, looking at training camp, we need to actually see it in person.
6:59Right. Because you're right. At the end of the day, we factually know that Rashad White is definitely the best blocker and the best receiver on that team.
7:08The question is, is how much can we get the progress forward from a guy like JCM in order to see if
7:15he can actually bridge the gap and become a three down back there?
7:19I kind of think it's going to work out as a committee.
7:22But when I go back and look at Jaden Daniels' rookie season, just kind of disregard last season.
7:28Right. Because he didn't play enough for us to really evaluate.
7:31When I go back and look at Jaden Daniels' rookie season.
7:35Right. I kind of do think at the end of the day, we might want to lean towards the early down back
7:41there because I know the appeal of Rashad White is, hey, the limited pass catchers, right?
7:46All we've got is Terry McClure. We can't trust anybody else.
7:50So, naturally, we're just going to see more volume to Rashad White.
7:53I don't know if that'll necessarily happen. Right. He would have to kind of line up as a receiver to see that
8:00natural increase beyond the checkdowns that we saw in Jaden Daniels' rookie season.
8:04I think I want the goal line back there.
8:07So maybe that's the kind of thing. Like, we acknowledge Rashad White is the best receiving option there.
8:12But let's use training camp to kind of nail down, is JCM going to for sure have this goal line back?
8:19I think that's the argument there. We've got to figure out what's going on between him and Katron Allen.
8:25If you had to pick the player with the second most targets behind Terry McClure right now, would you pick Rashad?
8:31Or would it be maybe Chica Conquo or Antonio Williams or maybe a Mr.
8:35Outside Hire like they would say in the office?
8:38Is it maybe Stefan Diggs coming into town or someone else that they might sign?
8:43Yeah, I think if one's coming, I've got zero faith that the Brandon Ayoub thing is going to be like, that doesn't seem like a mess.
8:51Oh, yeah. No, like, no. I was thinking Diggs.
8:53Yeah. Right, yeah. I agree with you. I think if anyone's brought in, it would be Stefan Diggs, and that would be a nice fit.
9:01So I hope they do that, but he's got his own things that he has to figure out in terms of legal issues as well.
9:09So maybe they're waiting on that one, too, because I would think that would be the best fit for them.
9:15But other than that, it is Chig that I want.
9:18I think he's a fine late-round target for anyone that wants to, you know, bypass, save up on value and kind of try the streaming option there.
9:26Chig obviously was not a massive target hog by any means in Tennessee, but that was more so the function of, one,
9:33the offense situation and obviously pass volume being down.
9:36I do think that he would have the opportunity to step in and have relevance here.
9:40And looking back at previous seasons, Jane Daniels did rely on Zacherts a lot.
9:45It doesn't feel like it, right, because it wasn't as if he was breaking off any runs because he's a little bit – Right.
9:52He was a little bit older, right? Close to my age.
9:55It's not very good in the NFL. Right, same.
9:58It was like catch a ball or fall. But with Chig, I know that he could take that pass volume, those 60-plus
10:05receptions, and turn that into something after the catch.
10:08So I think that's the area that I would go to is Chig.
10:12Maybe, obviously, I would love Antonio Williams, right? Yes, that'd be great.
10:15Maybe that pans out. Hard to depend on a rookie.
10:18Yeah, like we'll push that one further back in a late round stab.
10:22I would lean towards Chig being the second look.

10:44We got a question from J-Mac here. Tara, where are you on Kyle Pitts?
10:48For years we held on to hope because of him being a generationally gifted athlete at tight end and kept drafting him
10:55as a top five tight end, even though he kept letting us down.
10:59Now he's coming off a year where we finally saw it and he was the tight end two, and yet he is now tight end seven in ECR.
11:08So where do you stand currently on Kyle Pitts?
11:10I love that you asked this question, Jay, because this is one of my oddly enough favorite things to talk about.
11:17I have not invested a ton in the past in Kyle Pitts, so I missed all that drama because I always thought he was overpriced.
11:25Now we get the ADP a little bit back further, and he's actually my tight end six, which is not a big discrepancy there.
11:32But oddly enough, for all the hate in the world that I have for Kevin Stefanski and the debacles in Cleveland, I
11:39trust him very much so to target tight ends.
11:41Like all throughout his tenure in Cleveland, it wasn't just with Harold Fannin Jr.
11:46It was with anyone and everyone. You were seeing targets go to tight ends at a 30% clip there.
11:52So I have the utmost confidence that he will have 100 plus targets this year.
11:56Like that's a very strong baseline. We have no strong secondary wide receiver.
12:00The pass catchers are London, Bajon and Kyle Pitts from that perspective.
12:04So I think we're going to see good volume, right?
12:07And, you know, honestly, to a tug of a low, potentially we'll see, you know, right here at quarterback probably benefits Kyle
12:14Pitts a little bit more there because we kind of saw that transition from Kyle Pitts later in the season.
12:20Once we saw Kirk Cousins come in as a more tight end friendly option.
12:24So I think Tua might actually fit a little bit better for Kyle Pitts compared to Drake London.
12:29So I like him a lot. It gets pushed further back because when we're looking at tight ends as a whole, basically
12:36everyone with the exception of Tucker Craft, who I do like, right?
12:40But it's just the lower pass volume offense and they like to spread the ball around.
12:45Every one of those guys has 100 plus target upside.
12:48So that's why I push back because we're kind of deep at those higher end level tight ends now.
12:54Yeah. Yeah. Let me ask you, how do you tier your tight ends?
12:58Because I'm looking currently and we have the first tier is Bowers McBride, Loveland Warren.
13:02And the next tier is Craft, Fannin, Pitts, Laporta.
13:05Do you break your tiers up differently? Because I do.
13:08But I would like to hear yours first. Yeah.
13:11And then I want to hear yours because mine's slightly different.
13:14Not dramatic, right? But I do think that Brock Bowers and Trey McBride are in a 1A tier of their own.
13:21I like to separate them out just because we know that there is a locked in guaranteed volume that those guys are getting.
13:28We're simpatico on that. There we go. I know we have our offensive concerns for Arizona in general and how long Jacoby Brissette will be allowed to start.
13:36Is they're going to be at a tailspin downward?
13:39Thank you. Like, thank you, Jacoby. Come out there and do the right thing for us from a fantasy perspective.
13:45But after those two, then for me, you know, Colson Loveland and Tyler Warren are the other guys that I trust in that little mini tier after that.
13:54And then my tier two cuts off at – I have it flipped, Harold Fannin Jr.
13:59and Kyle Pitts. But my tier two would cut off theoretically there at the combination of Harold Fannin Jr.
14:04and Kyle Pitts. So you'd have Laporta in the next one.
14:08Yeah. That's pretty close to what I have to.
14:11I've got Bowers and McBride by themselves. I have Loveland in a tier of his own, right?
14:16I just have quarterback concerns for Tyler Warren. Then four, five, six, seven.
14:20I go Tucker Craft. I just – I think he'll be back for week one and good.
14:25We'll see. You know, that's a little wish casting on my part.
14:29I understand that. Then I have Tyler Warren, Harold Fannin, and then Kyle Pitts.
14:33So I do have Fannin and Pitts in the same order.
14:36But I also push Laporta down. You know, he's – we played nine games last year.
14:41We saw Jamison take off a little bit. So it's a little bit of injury stuff.
14:46Not really that. The back injury is not one that you particularly like for any player in the NFL.
14:52So that's a little scary. But I don't – it's not that.
14:56It's more about Jamison Williams and Amonra St. Brown is going to get his.
15:00Gibbs is going to get his, right? It's just where is he in the pecking order?
15:05Is he still at that elite level? Exactly. So I'm – yeah, that's interesting that we're pretty close there.
15:11I like that. Let's see. Enrico. Enrico, what up?
15:13What is your very early rookie of the year prediction?
15:16So if you had to pick a rookie of the year, Tara, where are you going there?
15:22Yeah, I've done that recently, actually. I think I'm taking Colonel Tate there.
15:26I like the value on him. He's third in odds.
15:29And basically, when we're looking at Jeremiah Love, he's in the Ashton Gentile situation, right?
15:33In terms of uphill battle from a team perspective, volume might be a little bit inconsistent.
15:38So he kind of has that same similar knock that could happen with him that Love got.
15:43Then Fernando Mendoza is at the whim of whether or not he will get the opportunity to start early enough to be
15:50able to be in contention for that. And then Colonel Tate, for me, is interesting because while it's not the ideal team
15:57situation, I think it's very similar to Ted Arroa McMillan, and he can have the exact same path too, the same way McMillan did.
16:04So you come in, your wide receiver one, and yeah, there's talent on the team, obviously.
16:09Wondell Robinson there garnering targets. I love the young guys.
16:12Hopefully they get more opportunities than Calvin Ridley, and we just push that one out of the way.
16:18Right. Let our young boys take over there. But yeah, Kim Ward at the end of last season in the back half looked very impressive, in my opinion.
16:26I'm going to see. I want more volume, but what I saw out of him in terms of command of the offense,
16:33there's not going to be a massive leap, but enough to get Colonel Tate into the same kind of category as Ted Arroa McMillan.
16:40Yeah, that's my prediction there for him. Looking at Hard Rock, Colonel Tate is plus 600.
16:45So that's paying you six to one. So I like that pick.
16:49He's the third shortest odds. Jeremiah Love is first at plus 350.
16:52I mean, just a guy that you're going to have to give volume to.
16:57By the way, poor Tyler Elge here. Yeah. Poor, poor Tyler Elge here.
17:01I mean, you sign a contract to go to the Cardinals thinking you're going to take this job over.
17:07Like James Conner's old. He's probably getting cut. And then Trey Benson hasn't worked out.
17:11It's going to be my job. And then they draft Jeremiah Love.
17:15And they restructure James Conner to bring him back.
17:18And Trey Benson is on this. How does one of these guys not get traded or cut?
17:23Yeah. I think Conner might get cut before the year.
17:26But I think Carnell Tate's such a good pick.
17:29That's probably the right one. I also like Jadarian Price at plus 800.
17:33You know, Charbonnet tearing his knees so late into the season.
17:36And this is writing notes for a Dynasty show I'm going to do with Worm.
17:41It's so funny because I have so many players that I have a lower rank for in 2026.
17:46So I'm lower than ECR is on them in 2026.
17:49But in Dynasty, I have a higher ECR than a lot of people.
17:53And Charbonnet is one of those guys. I don't think he comes back until Thanksgiving.
17:58I think the earliest he could make it back is probably Halloween.
18:01So if he is coming back between, let's just call it the middle of November, right?
18:06So more than halfway through the season. I think they're also, if they're in a position for the playoffs at all, they're probably going to baby him, right?
18:15Yeah. I think Jadarian Price is a way better running back than Emmanuel Wilson.
18:19I think he's a way better running back than George Helani.
18:22And I think those guys are better than advertised for most cases.
18:26But Jadarian Price at plus 800 and then a long, long shot.
18:30Carson Beck might start a bunch of things for the Cardinals.
18:33And they do have... I kind of hope he does.
18:36Plus 3,000. Carson, I mean, that's 30 to 1.
18:39But look at... It's not so much about Carson Beck.
18:42But look at what Carson Beck did with talent at Miami, right?
18:46Like he took them all the way to the national title game.
18:49And it was just, don't throw interceptions. Don't make mistakes.
18:52Don't make those big boneheaded moves you're making at Georgia at Miami.
18:56And that's what he did. And he got them all the way to the natty.
19:01Now, of course, it ended on a pick that he threw.
19:04But they were in desperate mode at that point.
19:07So I don't necessarily blame him for that. But with Brissette holding out and not being really happy, a little floating bet
19:14on Carson Beck at 30 to 1 is not bad.
19:17The rest of these down here, Makai Lemon is plus 1,000.
19:20Jordan Tyson is plus 650. Makai Lemon's plus 1,000.
19:23And then there's a bunch more 3,000. Denzel Boston, Casey Concepcion, and Omar Cooper all in the plus 3,000.
19:29And in the 5,000s, we have Coleman, Singleton, Brazel, Surratt, guys that aren't.
19:33Yeah. You know, that's almost lighting your money on fire, betting on those guys down there.
19:37So let me ask you about the Browns wide receiver situation here.
19:41With the Browns, you know, obviously, and this is what I think this is probably why you have Pitts ahead of Fannin, correct?
19:48It's because they drafted Concepcion. They drafted Denzel Boston.
19:51And we don't know who the quarterback is going to be as of right now.
19:56I assume it's going to be Watson to start.
19:58But I also think Watson sucks at this point.
20:01So I think it's going to be Shador Sanders for probably 12, 10 games, somewhere in that neighborhood.
20:07How are you? Are you drafting any of these targets?
20:10Like, obviously not Fannin since you have Pitts ahead of him.
20:13You'd rather take Pitts. But what about Boston or Concepcion?
20:16Are you taking a shot on those guys? Are you leaving the Cleveland situation alone because it's the bad quarterback situation, bad offense situation?
20:23Yeah, I'm taking more Browns than I would like.
20:26No, I'm just, I'm okay with it. Look, I'm all right with it.
20:30And for what it's worth, I don't mind taking Harold Fannin Jr.
20:34I think he's in that tier. He's just, you know, Kyle Pitts before him for me.
20:39But the ADPs, because we are fully aware that this is a sketchy situation, are perfectly fine for both Casey Concepcion and Denzel Boston.
20:46So I have, at the end of drafts, I am snatching one.
20:50Because there tends to be a little gap, even though it doesn't really show, right, in terms of ADP.
20:56There's not a giant gap between Concepcion and Boston.
20:58But for some reason, like, people are, you know, willing to draft a little bit higher to get Concepcion because of the potential.
21:05Like, because when you look at it realistically here, you want the one that would potentially have the most volume.
21:11And just in terms of where he would play on the field, probably more consistency in general volume compared to a Boston
21:18in terms of where he would line up on the field.
21:22So I get that for sure. So I've been taking more Boston just because you can do it a little bit later.
21:28But I think both are perfectly fine. Because at the end of the day, 100%, we know that we have Harold Fannin Jr.
21:35And then from a receiver's perspective, I do think we're going to end up seeing both of these guys push Jerry Judy out of the way.
21:43And he's still there. He's not going anywhere. He physically can't go anywhere because of that contract.
21:49There's zero point, right? But both of them can outplay him, right?
21:52And yes, they're rookies. But at the end of the day, both of them can outplay them.
21:57I'm hoping that we get some kind of more competent quarterback play here because of the fact that Todd Monken is a quarterback's guy.
22:05So at the very least, I know compared to Kevin Stefanski that he can get the most out of these guys in general.
22:12Now, what the most is from either Deshaun Watson or Shadar, that is the mystery here.
22:17But theoretically, we should be fine here. And again, this is still going to be a situation where I do think they're
22:23going to lean on the run because the defense, even without Myles Garrett, is still going to be Jared versus perfectly.
22:30He's great, right? So this defense is still going to be strong and keep games relatively close here.
22:35So there won't be giant runaways playing massively from behind situations is what I'm kind of thinking there.

25:11That is FantasyPros.com slash intel. Intel. Are you, with this Brown situation, Tara, are you in or out on Shador?
25:17Do you think he can do something? Or do you think the Browns are going to be drafting a quarterback in this good class in 2027?
25:25I think they're probably going to be drafting. I'm trying to hold faith in him, right?
25:30But at the end of the day, we did know that generational wasn't probably in the realm of outcomes here.
25:36So when that's the case and you've got a team that is trying to move forward and make a dramatic shift and
25:43they know that that's the key position, yeah, they're probably going to take a stab at somebody else in the draft.
25:49So Travis Hunter kind of brought up Shador's value, you think, a little bit?
25:54Yeah, possibly there. And I still think that the draft capital was, it should have been more than what it was, right?
26:00Agree. You know, shout out to Tyler Shuck for proving us all wrong.
26:04Well, for now, right? Everybody, it felt like, yeah, yeah.
26:08But for proving us all wrong on that. But it should have been higher.
26:12But at the end of the day, I mean, just because you are a high-end pick, I mean, look at J.J.
26:18McCarthy, right? Just because you are a high-end pick, you could be a top 10 pick, a top 15 pick, doesn't really matter.
26:25If the team feels they have a better opportunity to move on to literally anybody else and even a retread veteran quarterback, you know, they will do so.
26:34Loyalty is not that deep. Let's talk about Travis Hunter for a second here.
26:38And let's just talk about the Jaguars offense overall.
26:41Now, I have been avoiding the Jaguars like the plague, unless your name is Trevor Lawrence, right?
26:46Like, in a super flex league, I'll take Trevor Lawrence.
26:49But I don't like the running back situation, Tara.
26:52Tootin is not my guy. I don't know that he is a long-term option as a primary ball carrier.
26:58I think he's a nice secondary guy. And he'll be given the chances here.
27:02And I expect him – I have more confidence in him than Bill Krosky-Meritt, right?
27:07Like, I have way more confidence in Tootin in that situation.
27:10But also the wide receiver situation is weird because we watched them draft two major tight ends with their very few picks in this draft.
27:18They went out and got the blocker in Borkutcher, and they got a goal line guy in Tanner Kozial, who, you know,
27:24could be playing basketball at 6'8 or 9 or whatever he is.
27:28He's an enormous H-Town product. Right. So, I love Tanner Kozial.
27:31I love watching him play. He's a lot of fun.
27:34Slow, but – like, slow compared to other tight ends.
27:38Yeah. Not slow for his size and frame. Yeah.
27:40He is fast. Kind of like Darnell Washington. Yeah.
27:43My guy, Mount Washington. But – so it looks like they're going to run 13 personnel more.
27:48Copycat league. The Rams ran at about 33% last season.
27:51Scored a ton of touchdowns out of 13 personnel.
27:54So I think we're going to see that. Brian Thomas Jr.
27:57is expected to be the wide receiver in that 13 personnel, which hurts Jacoby Myers, which hurts Parker Washington, who is a
28:04darling in the fantasy community and should be. But is there going to be enough opportunity for Washington, for Myers, and even maybe BTJ?
28:12And if so, what is going on with Travis Hunter at all?
28:15He might be the best receiver on this team.
28:18Honestly. Like, he might be. But we wouldn't know because he's going to play primary corner.
28:23So what are your thoughts on Jacksonville's offense overall?
28:26Are you drafting them? Are you avoiding them? Is there anybody you like here?
28:30Yeah. Let's tackle the wide receivers first and then the running backs.
28:34Yes. Wide receivers. Now, the tight ends things is very interesting, right?
28:37But to what degree they will make that shift when I don't feel like it was super broken last year in terms
28:44of, like, when we saw the back half of the season.
28:47Now, granted, there were some easier games in the back half of the season for the Jags, right?
28:53But there were still some tougher matchups where they showed extremely well, like against Denver.
28:57Looking at the back half of the season and the alignment that they had of Myers and Brian Thomas Jr.
29:04on the outside with Parker Washington in the slot was really effective.
29:07Like, over that time period, and granted, we had an uptick in rushing volume from Trevor Lawrence.
29:12He was QB1 in the back half of the season overall.
29:16So he was fantastic. So I don't know that there's so much broken that they need to make major adjustments.
29:22But I feel like the alignment is very straightforward when it comes to those three receivers, right?
29:27And then perhaps we do see a decrease in snap count in general if they're trying to bring those tight ends along more.
29:34But when I look at it, I don't mind all of them, right?
29:38In terms of, at the very least, we're all on the same page as the fact that these are all flex options, right?
29:45These are not guys that you were drafting to be your definitely not wide receiver one, not even your wide receiver two.
29:52These are flex options that you're hoping will have high upside with the potential bounce back there of Brian Thomas Jr., which, you know, is very possible.
30:00But at the end of the day, the way that Liam Cohen was operating last season, you know that there's not going
30:07to be one giant massive target hog in the offense because he's shifting targets according to the defenses that he's facing.
30:13So they're all viable at any given point in time.
30:16I think it's worth it to take a stab.
30:19I do personally like Parker Washington. The only caveat there is that, again, we do have to.
30:24Jacksonville is being like so evasive in terms of confirming where this man is going to play here.
30:30They were refusing to say that it is going to be exclusively defense, right?
30:34And that we will continue to see him on offense because they made the investment for him to play both ways.
30:41We'll see on that one. And obviously his presence would specifically affect, you know, Parker Washington the most there.
30:46So that's kind of the one that I'm kind of keying in on is that hopefully we see this shift to more on defense.
30:54But I still think he's going to be involved in a gimmicky way.
30:58But my gut tells me that, again, we're going to see more Parker Washington than him on offense.
31:03Now we should. I mean, you know, four wide.
31:06You get Travis Hunter out there. That's probably what it is for now.
31:10Maybe injuries if the corners are good and some of the wide receivers go down.
31:15Maybe he gets more involved that way. I just always thought of, you know, Khan as the ECW guy, right?
31:21Like the guy that wants to sell jerseys. He wants a big name.
31:25So I figured they would put him on offense.
31:27But Liam Cohen has kind of made it be a defensive guy.
31:31And he is probably he he he has the chops to be one of the premier corners in the league.
31:37Right. So it's that's hard to find. It's hard to draft.
31:41It's hard to know. So I would I would probably do the same if I was him.
31:46But I thought with their owner that maybe he would be selling jerseys.
31:50What about the running backs here? Do you like any of them?
31:54Or are we avoiding these like the plague? I am a basial tootin girl.
31:58But I look at it from this perspective is that I feel like the running back room is not super confusing as to what everybody can do.
32:06Right. We know Chris Rodriguez is an early down and goal line guy.
32:10He does not have the capabilities to be a three down back.
32:14We know that LaQuint Allen Jr. was definitely utilized from a third down perspective.
32:18Good blocker. If he could potentially be the third down back for sure.
32:22But three down back in that offense when we know that, you know, last year basial tootin had the preference on the ground over him.
32:30We know that for sure. Right. So the question we have is that are we going to get basial tootin bridging the gap here?
32:37Is he trusted enough on third downs and from a receiving perspective to be able to handle that?
32:42I kind of feel like the connection in general of Chris Rodriguez to Liam Cohen in college is kind of overblown a little bit.
32:50I feel like sometimes we overblow these previous connections, right?
32:53As if basial tootin wasn't the guy that he drafted last year.
32:57Somehow. It's not his cousin. Right. Yeah, yeah. Somehow, somehow that college, arguably, we don't even know if the man recruited him
33:03for that single play, for that one single year that we were together.
33:07Somehow that takes preference over the guy that he drafted last year and showed an odd amount of trust in.
33:13Because when you look at the overall numbers, like Travis Etienne was the lead back, but we had a lot of usage
33:20of basial tootin in the red zone specifically and at the goal line.
33:24The man had four touchdowns inside the five and two on the ground and then two receiving touchdowns inside the five.
33:31That's a lot of usage for a backup running back rookie.
33:34So to say that, yeah, for sure, Chris Rodriguez was excellent at the goal line last year.
33:39But to say that there is this automatic situation of he's just, there's no way that basial tootin could take preference at the goal line over him.
33:47I don't think that's the case here. So there's a lot of ambiguity in it.
33:52But the only one that could actually have three down back opportunity in this offense would be basial tootin.
33:58So if you're going to pick one, hedge your bets on that, right?
34:02But recognize that you are taking a risk that he could be irrelevant, which is fine, right?
34:07You're drafting him as a RB3 flex option. Don't invest in him until we know for sure that he would be the starter.
34:14Don't invest that like, I want him in my starting lineup as my RB2 or even my RB1.
34:20Don't go zero RB with that until we get a guarantee, right?
34:23Amen. Yeah, don't. Yeah, yeah. Tootin is your flex option or your first running back off the bench.
34:29He is not a top two back. So I think that is just important to state here.
34:34We got a question from our friend Ovanrod. Hey, Vanrod.
34:37Vanrod wants to know, rank these RBs in order of which you draft them.
34:41Hampton, Scadaboo, Love, and Travion Henderson. Do you have your order on those backs quickly?
34:46I do. Quickly. It is Hampton, Love, Scadaboo, and Henderson with the caveat that nine times out of ten, I am going
34:53to skip over Love and just draft Scadaboo on that one.
34:56I was just saying quickly because I had my ready to go.
35:00Henderson, or excuse me, Henderson. Hampton for me. I have Hampton at ten.
35:04I have Love at 14. Then I have Henderson at 20.
35:07And I have Scadaboo at 23. So that is where I have them all.
35:11You know, I mean, Hampton's an RB1 and the other are RB2s.
35:15So I think that is the important distinction to make from Vanrod's question here.
35:19How high are you on Hampton? Is he an RB1 to you, borderline?
35:23How confident are you in him after, you know, as a rookie missing a handful of games here?
35:29Yeah, I feel good about it. I won't hold the injury against them.
35:33You need to give me repeated seasons of injury issues for me to say, hold up, wait.
35:38I think there's a problem. We need to discount here.
35:41With early round running backs, the, I mean, obviously Gibbs and Bijon are their, you know, own separate little tier there.
35:47But everyone between JT and Christian McCaffrey and Derrick Henry with Hampton being towards the end of that, I think they're all
35:54viable options for you to grab as your RB1 and feel good about it, right?
35:59You know, last year there was obviously a little more Kamadi Vidal than we would have liked to see, right?
36:05But at the end of the day, the transformation that this offense is going to have in terms of being healthier with
36:12the offensive line, they made adjustments, not just the healthy ones they're getting back.
36:16They made additions and adjustments as well. So we're going to see a much different, much more competent original offensive line that
36:23we thought we were getting at the beginning of last season.
36:26And the change in offensive scheme here going to probably provide more goal line opportunities as well.
36:31The only concern I would have that kind of pushes him back a little bit further is how much passing work do
36:38we get shifted over to Keaton Mitchell. But at the end of the day, like I consider Hampton a general three down
36:45back there with obviously some change of pace working in.
36:48So I do trust him as a clear RB1.
36:50Yeah, I have been talking about how I like Vidal more than I like Keaton Mitchell.
36:55But who cares? Hampton is the guy. Hampton is a three down back.
36:59He is going to end up being one of those guys where, you know, just like Christian McCaffrey and Gibbs and A-Chan
37:06and these dudes where you hear the coach say, yeah, we probably need to take some carries away from him.
37:12And then nothing happens because most NFL games are close, right?
37:16Most NFL games going into the fourth quarter within one score.
37:19So, you know, you have to play your best players in those scenarios.
37:23And O'Murray and Hampton is way better than Mitchell or Vidal.
37:26Way more complete back. We did have another question.
37:29And by the way, we've got some new followers.
37:32J-Mac. Thank you, J-Mac. And KJ. Also, thank you, KJ.
37:35But J-Mac asked, how many RBs are there this year that you would be comfortable with as your number one in a hero RB strategy?
37:43What is your thought there, Tara? Um, theoretically 13.
37:45I say that with the caveat that I am struggling to really trust taking Christian McCaffrey just because I do think that
37:52the odds are favoring him not making it through the season.
37:55But at the end of the day, he's a clear RB1.
37:59But for me, it's, you know, the jump down for me is obviously the top guys.
38:04And then, you know, it's Saquon, Hampton, Henry. And then I include Josh Jacobs in someone that I am trusting as my
38:10RB1 in a hero strategy just because obviously the legal issues and whatnot.
38:14But we've seen enough times that this close to the season, if there is a legal issue, nine times out of 10,
38:21any potential suspension is going to get pushed to the next season.
38:25So for 2026, because we haven't had any, you know, specific charges or anything like that, like operate as though more than
38:32likely the man is going to play the season here.
38:35And if there were no legal issues, he would be a top 12 back for me.
38:39So I'm comfortable with all of those as my hero RB strategy.
38:43And I prefer a hero RB. And quite frankly, I mean, this year, the level of depth that we have at high
38:50end elite options, the fact that you can turn around in like an early third round and potentially get a Derrick Henry is kind of crazy there.
38:58So we're, I think we're blessed in terms of operating with a hero strategy this season.
39:03So I'm very comfortable down 13 guys, really. Yeah, it is.
39:06You know, there is more depth to running back than there traditionally has been.
39:11And I feel like next year we may hit a really nice glut of it too, with some of the incoming RBs potentially from the draft.
39:19So we are in a good spot. There's going to be a lot of moving and shaking in the free agent market as well.
39:26Next year, it looks like unless, you know, there, I think they're Chase Brown and JT both haven't gotten extensions yet.
39:32I think they're the two that we're waiting on.
39:35But yeah, there's going to be, there's, there's some nice RB depth this year.
39:39So I, I, I like it as well. Uh, we got another question from, uh, J Bo, which round should I be,
39:46uh, picking a QB and a tight end? Do you have a strong feeling on where you would like to select your QB and tight end this year?
39:55You know, if I'm, if I'm picking a preference in terms of, you know, cause I, I don't like to go both
40:02early on because I feel like that hamstrings you, especially because again, we have a lot of question marks.
40:07Once we get past like RB 20 or so, we start looking a little shaky in terms of guys that we can
40:14trust and, you know, wide receivers, obviously we've got some, you know, a good depth, but there again are some question marks.
40:21I don't like to hamstring myself in terms of taking two quarter, uh, quarterback and a tight end.
40:26I want to pick and choose one versus the other.
40:29Um, so if I'm going to take an early round option or a mid round option, my choice is going to be tight end.
40:37We talked about the tight end tiers, like, uh, you know, cutting off and saying like, Hey, Kyle pits and on up right there with those seven.
40:45Um, we feel good about them and just taking whichever one ends up being the best value for you.
40:51Maybe you try and push it back a little and get a little bit risky pushing towards the back of the tier.
40:58But really for me, um, that is kind of more of my comfort area in terms of saying, okay, like a by
41:04round seven or so, maybe taking a tight end makes a lot of sense there.
41:09And then I'm pushing quarterback back to be honest, um, because I don't think it's 100% necessary with the, um, level of depth.
41:16And, and also that's another one in particular, just in general, which strategy, um, with quarterback, I do tend to play it
41:23more according to the way that my league is drafting, right?
41:26If you have your, uh, your league mates are all leaning in and taking quarterbacks pretty quickly and you see a quarterback running going on pretty quickly.
41:34And you're like, there goes Lamar. There was a Drake may there goes Jaden Daniels, right?
41:39You're seeing that, um, rapid. Maybe you play like a little ying to the yang there, and you don't jump on the
41:46end of a quarterback run and you push it back a little bit to try and invest in those other positions and get the edge there.
41:54So I'm okay with pushing quarterback back to the double digit rounds this year, because we've got the ability, right?
42:00To, um, make it push back a little bit further with saying like, Hey, there are guys like, um, Patrick Mahomes.
42:06If you're okay with risking the injuries, Matt Stafford, right.
42:09That pushes it back a little bit further. If you want to go back together, yeah, take them together, right.
42:16You can pair them up. Jared Goff has a lot of nice dome games towards the back half of the season as well.
42:23So, um, there's a lot of flexibility in terms of a lot of high upside, stable quarterback options.
42:28So invest in a lot of the elite talent earlier.
42:31And then I'm, I'm pushing quarterback back to double digit rounds.
42:35Now, if everyone is pushing it back and you see an opportunity to jump in and grab that Justin Herbert at value, right.
42:42No, by all means, go ahead and do it.
42:44Um, just offer yourself that flexibility. Yeah. I mean, I couldn't agree more.
42:48You know, it is tight end with a bullet for me if it's a one QB league, obviously, but, uh, you know,
42:55I, I love getting a high end quarterback. If I can, they're very dependable.
42:59They give you a nice, uh, bump from week to week, but like Dak Prescott, Jackson dart, there's so much upside.
43:06We talked about Trevor Lawrence. You know what I mean?
43:09These are guys going nine, 10, 11, uh, you know, at quarterback and tight end, like you said, uh, we were talking
43:16about the, the positions, the drop off is real at tight end probably after Sam Laporta.
43:21Right. Like, and we don't re we don't particularly trust Sam Laporta as much as other people do.
43:26So for us, it's like seven tight ends, which is still, you can get a good one kind of cheap, but, uh,
43:33that back end, the bottom falls out cause we like Sam Laporta, but there's questions.
43:37Mark Andrews had a down year, but no likely also likely going to the giants.
43:42Who's the number two in New York, right? Like there, there's a big question there.
43:47There's upside there and then the old guys kills coming off a major injury in his Achilles.
43:52Uh, Kelsey is going to, you know, have gimpy my homes for a little bit, at least probably.
43:57And then it's, is chicken Conkwell good enough to be a number two?
44:01Uh, is Dalton Kincaid going to get more than 50% of the snaps in any damn games this year?
44:07You know, uh, Jake Ferguson is now way buried in the pecking order because Javante was good because Pickens surged and CD
44:14lamb is going to be healthy this year. So to me, it's easy tight end over a quarterback.
44:19Uh, J Bo also asked, I want two wide receivers, two running backs by four rounds.
44:24What should I aim for round five and six?
44:27What are your thoughts there, Tara? It depends because round five or six, you could still have, um, one of those top 20 backs in there.
44:35It's possible at round five or so, um, you could get around the, uh, tight end 20 to 22 range.
44:41So you could possibly go ahead and take a third.
44:44I don't, I'm not opposed to that. Um, but I would also be okay with, again, like we were saying, going tight end, seeing what you have there.
44:53If you can get one of those top seven options or seeing what value you have at wide receiver wide receiver is
44:59really the one that's a little bit flexible there because it just depends on if you have a guy in that range
45:06that gives you a high end option and also your league settings, right?
45:10You know, how many, um, starting wide receivers are there?
45:13How many flex options there are? If you're in one of those leagues where you have two flex options, maybe you go
45:20wide receiver there and try and stack up on that.
45:23Especially if it's PPR. Yeah. Uh, I I'm with you and you know, you just see, see if one of those quarterbacks
45:30fell, see if one of those tight ends felt it's just a deal.
45:34You know what I mean? If that's the case, then maybe I pivot there, but yeah, it's, it's adding depth, uh, for the most part.
45:41Uh, I, before we move on here, let me tell you guys about the fantasy pros discord community.
45:47You can chat with other fans and get access to exclusive AMAs that wind up on our podcast feed.
45:53The current schedule is Worm and Fitz at five Eastern on the first Tuesday of every month and myself and Fitzy at
45:59five Eastern on the third Tuesday of every month.
46:02Come get your questions answered and be on the show at fantasypros.com slash chat.
46:06We have a lot of fun in those discords.
46:09Uh, Fitzy and I did one just a couple of days ago.
46:13They are a lot of fun. We get to answer a lot of good questions, a lot of dynasty.
46:19I think those are both dynasty, uh, streams as well.
46:22So a lot of dynasty questions getting answered over there.
46:25I want to pick your brain on a couple other scenarios here, Tara.
46:29Uh, the running back in Pittsburgh, do you have a preference?
46:32Are you avoiding which way you go in there?
46:35Oh, um, the way that I think it's going to work out theoretically is that I think we're going to one thing.
46:42So one caveat here is that we do need to recognize that the receptions to the running back are probably going to come down.
46:49That was the result of Aaron Rogers checking down because he hated every receiver not named DK Metcalf, right?
46:55Cause they weren't reliable. If you, if you burn him, he's not going to throw to you.
47:00Um, with Michael Pittman added there, we're hearing so many positive things about Jeremy Bernard as well.
47:05I think we're going to see more of those perceptions go to, um, those guys over the middle, right?
47:11So just keep that in mind that, um, if we're thinking that the way that this is going to work out would
47:18be Rico Dowdle with the early down and goal line work, and then Jalen Warren with a third down and receptions, just
47:25recognize those receptions are probably going to come down a little bit.
47:28So as of right now, if we, I think it'll work out with Rico being the early down back.
47:34And so that would be my lead on that one.
47:37But again, we just got to double check on that one.
47:40So as of right now, I do think it'll end up being Rico, but training camp is going to be the whole flexible situation.
47:48Right? Sounds like you're not drafting either. No, I haven't taken a single one.
47:52You know what? If you can't, if you don't know, I don't hate that as a strategy though.
47:58Just let it be somebody else's issue. I'm a Steelers fan.
48:01I'm in on Jalen Warren. I feel like every time we doubt Jalen Warren, he wins this job, right?
48:07He pushed Najee out. Uh, they're bringing Caleb Johnson to push him out.
48:11Nope. Kenneth Gainwell had more traction than Caleb Johnson.
48:14So I just, um, I think it is probably Jalen Warren and just all the efficiency metrics.
48:19I don't know whether you consider the Steelers offense from 2025 better than the Panthers from 2025.
48:24They're probably Spider-Man meme pointing at each other a little bit, you know, but, uh, so everything except for rushes inside the
48:31five, uh, I, I think Jalen had Rico slightly.
48:33They were both pretty good though, but it's like the really good stuff in the past catching that Rico had Warren was better.
48:40Uh, it was, so I don't know. I think you're right.
48:44It's probably best to leave it to somebody else, but if I have to pick one, I probably go in Jalen Warren,
48:51which means, you know, it'll be Caleb Johnson this year out of nowhere from the top rope.
48:56But I do agree with you. This offense is going to be way more vertical, way more down the field with these
49:03better options in the receiving game here. And Rico's got another one for us here in a half PPR super flex league.
49:09How much weight should one put into a quarterback wide receiver stack and how far would you reach to draft AJ if may is your QB?
49:17Don't force it. Um, don't, don't force it to happen, but I do like a stack.
49:22I enjoy it, especially like, especially in a tournament setting.
49:25Like I just like, I cannot ignore that, but if you have the ability to do it and there are certain ones
49:32that you can, cause I think I've, um, had someone, um, I answered this in another situation that AJ Brown and Drake may stack is it's doable.
49:40Right. And I think we're getting a good discount on AJ Brown and we should see an increase in pass volume as well.
49:47Cause there's a, there's a better ceiling there for Drake may in terms of volume, they were operating off efficiency, pass attempts, we're an extremely high.
49:55So more difficult schedule, more pass attempts. Yeah. I can see where this can work out.
50:00So, um, and super flex, if you have the ability to do it, um, I do think it gives you just a
50:07little baked in advantage of, if it goes your right way, little, little cheat code there, but don't, don't force it in overdraft.
50:14Right. I agree. I think that the stack is a little bit overrated unless it's, you know, like you said, uh, a DFS thing.
50:21Like, I feel like one offense exploding and somebody picking all those offensive players is like the mill, the millie makers is
50:28how a lot of those are made, but it doesn't work over a season.
50:32And you're adding two of your best players to one by week as well.
50:36So I do think it's a little overrated, but I think it's super flex.
50:41It's a nice strategy, you know, to get, but it has to be top tier.
50:45Right. And they have to be both really good.
50:48Like if you're getting Dak and Pickens or lamb or may and AJ Brown, you know, you know what I mean?
50:55Something like that. I will say though, um, the, the cheap stacks are interesting as well.
50:59Like your QB two, if you're pushing that one back and you can nail a QB two with a cheaper wide receiver and that ends up working out.
51:08It's very interesting. So I don't mind. Cause those aren't hard to do like Stroud Higgins.
51:13Yeah. Like that. Yeah. Like it's not a difficult thing to do, um, in terms of pairing easier to replace on by
51:20week two, because that, that wide receiver is usually a maybe start, you know, maybe I flex this guy if it's a good, uh, option.
51:27So yeah, I, I agree with you there. Absolutely.
51:30Absolutely. Uh, we've got another one from a J bow as well.
51:34Should I be trying to draft depth, uh, for tight ends and QBs or strictly wide receiver in RB?
51:40Uh, I mean, personally, I'll, I'll, I'll throw this out Tara.
51:43I don't want, unless I take a quarterback like my home.
51:46So I don't know if he's going to play early or be effective.
51:50If he does play early, if it's something like that, I'll take a backup quarterback in a one QB league.
51:56Uh, I'm almost never taking a secondary tight end.
51:59The only way is again, if I take Kittle, right.
52:02And my bench needs to be deeper for me to want a backup tight end.
52:07Cause I really hate carrying two tight ends. I'd rather take, give me a handcuff, right?
52:12If I have Ashton Gentty, would I rather have a backup tight end or what would I rather have Mike Washington?
52:18I would every time rather have Mike Washington in case something happens to Gentty.
52:22And I know they're going to give a Mike Washington the ball.
52:26So the tight ends on the wire in a 12 man league are usually fairly interchangeable with each other.
52:32So with your guy on the bench that is not starting.
52:35So I think in most cases, I just want to stick to the wide receiver and RBs, but there are some scenarios
52:42where you want to add depth, but that's if you take a risk at those positions.
52:47Do you agree with me, Tara? Yeah. The bench has to be deep for me to carry backups at those.
52:53Otherwise I am foregoing it just in general, because you also got to think like, even if your league is everybody's drafting
53:00two quarterbacks, odds of them holding on to both of those quarterbacks through like week five, someone's going to get dropped, right?
53:07So at the end of the day, you probably, if you need to start prepping for your bi-week, there's going to end
53:13up being someone on waivers for you. So I try my hardest not to, especially if I have an elite option.
53:20If for some reason I'm drafting a Brock Bowers, I'm not going to back it up with a secondary option at tight end.
53:27So before we go here, Tara, are there any other situations that you are like really micro-focusing on in training camp or
53:33anything that you want to see how the dust settles on in particular?
53:37San Francisco backup running backs. Yeah. I like Jordan James more than I like Kalen Black.
53:42I'll say that. Because I, you know, at the end, because again, I just like guys, I, and if you want to
53:49draft Chris McCaffrey, you know, 100%, go ahead and do it.
53:52The upside is stupid high, right? But we've seen him play, you know, we've seen him have two overall RB1 seasons where
53:59he had an uptick and egregious amount of touches.
54:02Each one, he came back and didn't even make it a quarter the way through the season.
54:07So historical odds are not favoring him on this one.
54:10So if you're drafting him, you want to grab the handcuff here and we need to have training camp to identify it
54:17because it's looking like Jordan James, but they just spent that draft capital on Kalen Black.
54:22So figuring out which one it's going to be, if you're drafting him, is going to give you a little bit advantage of that.
54:29And also as a late round dart throw as well, if you're not drafting Chris McCaffrey, because if something does happen and
54:36one of those guys stumbles into the situation, it'll be good.
54:39I think if CMC gets hurt, it's going to be an ugly split between those two and probably somebody else that they sign.
54:46Yeah. But it would be nice to have a handcuff to know.
54:50I'm watching Denver real close there. Do you have any opinion on the Denver backfield at all?
54:55Yeah. I, you know, I've come as, as I've heard more arguments from a lot of my fellow analysts here in terms
55:02of, you know, saying that the discount is good enough to draft RJ Harvey.
55:06And I can see that, but I wouldn't rely on him to be a starter because I, that's my preference there because
55:13the issue that I have is that we know that JK Dobbins is going to get the early down and goal line work.
55:20We know the role in terms of receiving and a little bit on the ground that RJ Harvey is going to have.
55:27And then the red zone usage was good for him as well.
55:30Last year. My problem here is that last year I was okay with Harvey because, Hey, we're inevitably waiting for this injury
55:37that we know is going to happen. And then he's going to take over as a three down back.
55:43But Jonah Coleman being there is a wee bit of an issue if he can step in and just be the JK
55:50Dobbins or possibly better than the JK Dobbins. So I do have fear.
55:54I know a, you know, uh, later ish round rookie being drafted into a situation should not make you panic about a
56:00guy that you saw be successful last year. But at the end of the day, Harvey was very inefficient on the ground.
56:07Um, and JK Dobbins was factually better on the ground apples to apples, like direct comparison there.
56:12So it's tough to ignore that. Yeah. And that is, um, I feel like that is going to be an ever changing landscape.
56:19I feel like it's, it should start with Dobbins.
56:22I think Harvey is better than Dobbins. So he'll take over.
56:26And then is Harvey good enough to hold off Coleman?
56:29Is Coleman good enough to push Harvey? Those are the questions I think we'll get some answered in camp.
56:34Not all the way. Of course, we got one more from Jbo before we leave.
56:39Um, is there any importance to trying to get a good kicker or defense?
56:43Uh, I would say a set it and forget it.
56:46Um, defense can be very relaxing in terms of you focusing your waiver priorities on the higher ticket items.
56:52I don't mind streaming either. Um, it's not an issue.
56:55Right. But, um, I would not forego, um, if you've got certain, like make your list of late round targets, right.
57:02Um, of offensive positions that you would, you know, really like to have that you believe in.
57:07These are guys that could have league winning upside if I make the right pick at the end of the draft.
57:13Right. And prioritize, you know, getting those ahead of time and then go ahead and say, all right, let me go ahead
57:20and get my defense and my kicker and whatnot.
57:23But I don't know that there's a massive advantage.
57:26It does make things easier when you have a set it and forget it, but I don't think it's worth, um, going
57:32up several rounds early in order to get that.
57:35Yeah. I like, uh, J max says, just get your lead to drop kickers in defense and add an extra flex.
57:41Right. Um, I, I'm okay with that. I'm also the IDP guy.
57:45I hate team defense because your team defense is only as good as the weakest link there.
57:50So, uh, I'm with you there. And Van Rod dropped one more for us.
57:55HN or Chase Brown? Where, uh, who are you more in on there?
57:59Depends on your risk tolerance. I, my preference is Chase, sorry, my preference is HN.
58:03I'm drafting HN over Chase Brown, but if you want the safer pick and you don't want to, um, stomach it, then,
58:10you know, say Chase Brown is extremely safe, but HN has that legitimate top five upside that Brown doesn't have because he
58:17plays with, with Jamar Chase and T Higgins. Agreed.
58:19100%. I have HN at six. I have Brown at eight.
58:23So I have Gentie wedged in between them. So yes, I I'm, I'm an HN guy as well.
