Antonio Williams

PositiveSleeper6:05

Williams, rostered in 18%, should be stashed immediately now that Terry McLaurin is out for the season with a torn patellar tendon. The source emphasizes this is the last chance to grab him before the Commanders return from their Week 7 bye and league mates realize McLaurin is gone. In Week 4 without McLaurin, Williams ran routes on 73% of dropbacks (tied with Stefan Diggs), drew targets on 23% of routes (7 total targets), and had an 87-yard TD called back due to illegal shift. The source notes Williams has shown he's more explosive than expected and takes care of business when called upon. The Commanders' post-bye schedule includes Eagles, Rams, Giants, Bengals, Cardinals, Titans, Texans, Falcons, Vikings, Jaguars, and Cowboys.

Insight page

Brock Bowers

NegativeRole11:34

Bowers is the primary target option for the Raiders alongside Michael Mayer, running 2.1+ yards per route and commanding significant target share, making him the team's preferred pass-catching option.

Insight page

Caleb Douglas

PositiveSleeper4:08

Douglas, rostered in 18% (down from 22% earlier in season), suffered an ankle injury in Week 2 but returned to limited practice ahead of Week 7. In Week 1, he had 5 catches on 7 targets for 94 yards (WR22), ran 3.13 yards per route (WR29 in expected fantasy points), and gained 37 yards after catch (top 7 on week). The source notes the Dolphins offense desperately needs playmakers for Malik Willis, who is completing only 56% of passes with a 40% success rate. Douglas is a 6'3 threat with 4.39 speed, and this is the last chance to stash him before he hits the field for a live game.

Insight page

Chris Bell

NegativeRole5:25

Bell is expected to operate on the perimeter alongside Caleb Douglas in two-WR sets for the Dolphins, with Malik Washington potentially kicked back into the slot.

Insight page

Christian Kirk

PositiveSleeper9:00

Kirk, rostered in 11%, is making his 49ers debut in Week 7 after spending the first six weeks on IR with a calf injury. While he sits behind George Kittle and Chris McCaffrey in the pass-catching pecking order, the source notes Kyle Shanahan has a track record of turning veteran WRs into single-game stars: Marcus Robinson had 111 yards and a TD in playoffs last year; Kendrick Bourne had back-to-back 142-yard games last season. The source argues Kirk is worth stashing given the 49ers' injury history—Mike Evans likely out Week 7, Deebo Samuel week-to-week with hamstring, John Stribbling not yet cleared. If injuries continue to pile up, Kirk could provide multiple spike weeks on an explosive offense.

Insight page

Christian McCaffrey

NegativeRole9:00

McCaffrey ranks ahead of Christian Kirk in the 49ers' pass-catching pecking order, limiting Kirk's immediate opportunity in Week 7.

Insight page

Colby Parkinson

NegativeRole3:00

Parkinson produced a top-12 TE finish in Week 6 (5 rec, 6 targets, 31 yards, TD for TE10), showing the Rams' depth at tight end and their ability to distribute targets among the position.

Insight page

David Montgomery

NegativeRole0:45

Montgomery hasn't been around for the Texans, contributing to the team's inability to run the football and their top-10 pass rate over expectation, which benefits pass catchers like Jalen Knoll.

Insight page

Deebo Samuel

NegativeInjury9:00

Samuel is week-to-week with a hamstring injury, creating opportunity for Christian Kirk and other 49ers receivers.

Insight page

George Kittle

NegativeRole9:00

Kittle ranks ahead of Christian Kirk in the 49ers' pass-catching pecking order, limiting Kirk's immediate opportunity in Week 7.

Insight page

Malik Willis

NegativeRole5:00

Willis is completing only 56% of passes with a 40% success rate, making him desperate for playmakers like Caleb Douglas to improve the Dolphins' passing game efficiency.

Insight page

Michael Mayer

PositiveSleeper11:34

Mayer, rostered in 30%, has commanded 9+ targets in 2 of his last 3 games with Brock Bowers also in the lineup. He's running 2.1 yards per route (second on team to Bowers), drawing targets on 23% of routes, and gaining first downs on 13% of routes. The source acknowledges a tough stretch ahead (Rams, Jets, 49ers, Seahawks all bottom 5 in points allowed to TE), but notes that if the Raiders chase points, targets may funnel Mayer's direction since Bowers and Mayer are the preferred options in the offense with a dull WR room.

Insight page

Mike Evans

NegativeInjury9:00

Evans is likely to sit out Week 7, creating opportunity for Christian Kirk and other 49ers receivers.

Insight page

Puka Nacua

NegativeRole2:02

Nakua's absence in Week 2 resulted in Terrence Ferguson's strong performance (6 rec, 9 targets, 54 yards, TD), demonstrating the Rams' willingness to distribute targets among their tight end group.

Insight page

Terrance Ferguson

PositiveSleeper1:36

Ferguson, rostered in 20% of leagues (up 8% since last week's mention), is first eligible to return Week 8 against the Chargers. The source emphasizes this is the last chance to stash him before league mates catch on. In Week 2 without Puka Nakua, Ferguson had 6 receptions on 9 targets for 54 yards and a TD (TE8). The Rams run 13 personnel at the highest clip in the league and have produced a top-12 fantasy TE in 3 of 4 recent games. The source believes Ferguson could be a league-winning piece rest of season once he returns, as the Rams wanted him to operate as a field-stretching pseudo-WR3 to expand the route tree.

Insight page

Terry McLaurin

NegativeInjury6:05

McLaurin is out for the season with a torn patellar tendon in his left knee, creating significant opportunity for Antonio Williams and other Commanders receivers.

Insight page

Tyler Higbee

NegativeRole2:28

Higbee has produced top-12 fantasy TE finishes in recent weeks (Week 3: 8 rec, 11 targets, 62 yards, TD for TE6; Week 5: 5 rec, 6 targets, 83 yards for TE11), demonstrating the Rams' ability to produce elite TE production even without Ferguson.

0:13Guaranteed Human. Guaranteed Human. Guaranteed Human. Guaranteed Human. You're also, I get it, not going to average 26.75 yards per reception each
0:20week and have multiple catches of 30 plus yards, but let's expand our sample since Nico Collins specifically returned from injury.
0:27Since week four, Jalen Knoll has run 3.82 yards per route.
0:30That is the fifth highest mark in the league.
0:33He hasn't dropped a single pass while averaging 19.4 yards per target, and he's still top 15 in yards after contact per
0:40reception, first downs per route run of all wide receivers with at least 25 routes.
0:45Jalen Knoll, he is a quality football player on a Houston Texans team that is top 10 in pass rate over expectation
0:52over the last two weeks because they can't run the football.
0:56Part of that is because David Montgomery hasn't been around, but shoot, even when David Montgomery was in the lineup, Houston Texans could not run the football.
1:04Will Marvin Harrison Jr. run more than 25% of routes in future weeks?
1:08Yes, he absolutely will. No question about that. Will Tank Dell also chip away at some of Jalen Knoll's slot snaps once he returns to the lineup?
1:17I'm going to say potentially on that because you have to remember, he has not played football in nearly two years.
1:24That's going to take quite a bit for him to ramp back up to speed.
1:29Jalen Knoll passes the eye test. He clearly has CJ Stroud's trust, and he should be rostered in well more than 20% of leagues.
1:36The second player on our list is Los Angeles Rams tight end Terrence Ferguson, who is rostered in 20% of leagues.
1:43T-Ferg's roster percentage has already jumped 8% since I mentioned stashing him in last week's video, so that means a lot of
1:50y'all went and applied the advice last week. Or it means that your league mates are already catching on.
1:56His return has also likely been highlighted by the fact that Devontae Adams now finds himself on IR with a ruptured hamstring, so the Rams need pass catchers.
2:05I said it in last week's video. Ferguson is first eligible to return in Week 8 against the Los Angeles Chargers, but
2:12your league mates are now probably starting to realize this is their chance to stash him, and I do think it is
2:19your last chance to try and scoop him up.
2:22We already have proof of what the Rams want to do when they're down one of Puka Nakua or Devontae Adams in their starting lineup.
2:30In Week 2, they were without Puka. Terrence Ferguson turned in six receptions on nine targets for 54 yards and a score,
2:37which was good for the tight end eight on the week.
2:41They are going to continue running 13 personnel, three tight end sets at the highest clip in the league because it's just
2:48not optimal to utilize Kanata Mumfield as your wide receiver too, and that is no disrespect to Kanata Mumfield.
2:54You just need more playmakers out there on the field.
2:57Even after Ferguson went down, the Rams have been able to produce a top 12 fantasy tight end in three of their last four games.
3:05In Week 3, it was Tyler Higbee with eight catches on 11 targets for 62 yards and a score.
3:11That was a tight end six. In Week 5, Tyler Higbee again, five catches on six targets for 83 yards.
3:18That was a tight end 11. And then how about Week 6?
3:22People thought it was going to be Tyler Higbee, but it was Colby Parkinson, five catches on six targets for 31 yards,
3:29but you got the touchdown, which got him to tight end 10 on the week.
3:34Now I will acknowledge, reports have been saying that Terrence Ferguson isn't ready to have his practice window opened yet, and his
3:41recovery will, quote, take some time, but we're running out of weeks before his window does inevitably open, and the chance to
3:48stash Ferguson then is all of a sudden long gone.
3:51The Rams love T-Ferg. They wanted to have him operate as this field-stretching pseudo wide receiver three this offseason to expand the
3:58route tree, and I'm still buying in on that once he returns.
4:02So even if he doesn't return first thing in Week 8, he could be a sneaky league-winning piece rest of season once he does.
4:10Next up on our list is Miami Dolphins wide receiver, Caleb Douglas, who was rostered in 18% of leagues.
4:16Douglas was actually the very first player I talked about this season when he was rostered in 22% of leagues, and it
4:23seemed like we may have had an instant hit on our hands.
4:27He had five catches on seven targets for 94 yards and 14.4 points against the Raiders in Week 1.
4:33That was good for the wide receiver 22 on the week, but then on Week 2, he suffers the ankle injury, misses
4:40three games before the Dolphins Week 6 bye, but as of this recording, we do have a limited practice log so far this week ahead of Week 7.
4:49From what we could tell, it looked like Caleb Douglas was ready to plant his flag to be the Dolphins wide receiver one this year.
4:57In Week 1, he ran 3.13 yards per route.
5:00He was the wide receiver 29 in expected fantasy points, and he was great after the catch, 37 yards, which was actually top seven on the week.
5:08The Dolphins offense just desperately needs playmakers, right? We've been saying this while talking about Chris Bell in previous videos, in previous podcasts as well.
5:16You need to give Malik Willis more options, so he's not stuck completing only 56% of his passes while struggling with a miserable 40% success rate.
5:25To be clear, Caleb Douglas will not fix all the woes of this passing game, but you have to imagine Malik Willis
5:32will be very, very grateful to have a 6'3 threat with 4.39 speed back on the field at his disposal.
5:38And if you're worried about Malik Washington in that rotation, I actually think he gets kicked back into the slot, and it'll
5:45be Caleb Douglas and Chris Bell on the perimeter in two wide receiver sets.
5:50But again, we're staying one to two moves ahead of your league mates here.
5:54This is your last chance to stash Douglas now, especially now that he's back at practice.
5:59And once he does hit the field for a live game, it could very well be too late already.
6:05Now, before we get to the last two players, if you want a chance to give your fantasy league the ultimate championship

6:51We'll be announcing a winner right here on the channel, so be sure to turn on those notifications so you don't miss
6:58your chance to come claim your prize. Fourth up on our list this week is Washington Commanders wide receiver Antonio Williams, who was rostered in 18% of leagues.
7:07Welcome to the Frequent Flyers Club, Antonio Williams. I am actually genuinely shocked he isn't rostered in more than 18% of leagues
7:14now that Terry McLaurin is out for the season with a torn patellar tendon in his left knee.
7:20I mean, I guess I do know why. It's because nobody's actively hunting for a Washington Commanders player on their waiver wire
7:27this week while the Commanders are on buy in week 7.
7:31But that is exactly why you should be stashing Antonio Williams right now.
7:35Once the Commanders start practicing ahead of week 8, people will remember that, oh, Terry McLaurin is out.
7:41They're going to be expecting to see Antonio Williams' role expand, and they think they can still pick him up.
7:47Don't let your league mates get away with that.
7:50Don't let them get away with being lazy because you're going to stay one to two moves ahead of them.
7:56We already have a taste test of what Antonio Williams' role looks like when Terry McLaurin isn't on the field in week 4.
8:04Without Terry McLaurin in the lineup, Williams ran a route on 73% of dropbacks tied with Stefan Diggs on the week.
8:10He drew a target on 23% of his routes, which added up to 7 total targets.
8:16And then the additional context that won't show up in the box score or the advanced metrics either is that Antonio Williams
8:23had an 87-yard touchdown called back due to an illegal shift in that game too.
8:27When Williams has had his name called upon, he stepped up.
8:31And I think it would be actually a relatively big mistake for David Blau to call on the likes of Traylon Burks
8:38or Diami Brown to try and fill in the production of Terry McLaurin.
8:42I am not saying Antonio Williams will play the Terry McLaurin role nor repeat his production identically, but Williams has shown he's
8:49more explosive than most expected to be, and he's taking care of business when his number has been called upon.
8:56And he should get plenty of opportunity after the bye as well.
9:00I mean, just looking at the schedule, he gets a struggling Eagles team, then they get the Rams where they'll be chasing points.
9:07They get an exploitable Giants secondary, then they get the Bengals, where they'll probably be chasing points.
9:12Then they get the Cardinals, the Titans, the Texans, the Falcons, the Vikings, the Jaguars, the Cowboys.
9:18I mean, the only matchup you truly hate hearing during that stretch is the Minnesota Vikings because Brian Flores is a sicko.
9:25So don't wait until the commanders are back from by to stash Antonio Williams.
9:29Do it now because you're just giving your league mates the opportunity to pick him up later and allowing them to be
9:37lazy and not active on the waiver wire. And fifth on our list this week is San Francisco 49ers wide receiver, Christian
9:44Kirk, who is rostered in 11% of leagues. This is where we're at with San Francisco 49ers wide receivers.
9:50Mike Evans is likely going to sit out week seven.
9:53Devo Samuel is still week to week with a hamstring injury.
9:56It's still too early for John Stribbling to return.
9:59So we're looking at Christian Kirk making his 49ers debut after spending the first six weeks on IR with a calf injury.
10:06Obviously, Christian Kirk is going to sit behind George Kittle and Chris McCaffrey in the pecking order of pass catchers this week.
10:13But we've also seen Kyle Shanahan turn these veteran wide receivers into single game stars.
10:18Obviously, Jawan Jennings has a long track record of his own.
10:22The Marcus Robinson had 111 yards and a score in the playoffs last year.
10:26And then you had Kendrick Bourne, who also just last season turned in back to back games of 142 receiving yards for Kyle Shanahan and this offense.
10:35Like we could keep expanding this list going all the way back to prior to 2020.
10:40But my point in saying all of this is that while it might seem like we're chasing one week of Christian Kirk,
10:47what happens when the injuries continue to pile up for the San Francisco 49ers?
10:52What happens if Mike Evans does end up having a bigger injury later on in the season that has him miss extended time?
10:59It wouldn't be the first time for that. What happens if Devo Samuel continues to struggle with hamstring injuries?
11:05Wouldn't be the first time for that. What happens if Watson's injury takes longer to heal than anticipated?
11:11I mean, 49ers beat writer Jennifer Leachin has said that dribbling isn't even walking on his injured foot yet.
11:17What if it's not until well after week 12 that dribbling returns?
11:21You could do a lot worse than stashing a wide receiver on a frequently banged up 49ers team that could provide multiple
11:28spike weeks if their key weapons continue to miss time.
11:31This offense is too explosive. It's worth stashing Christian Kirk.
11:34And surprise, I do have a bonus player this week to consider stashing.
11:39It's Las Vegas Raiders tight end Michael Mayer, who is rostered in 30% of leagues.
11:43He is at the very tip top of this threshold.
11:47And I'll keep this one short and sweet because for most of you deep league sickos out there, Mayer has already been scooped up.
11:54But for those of you in more shallow leagues, I think there might be something here with Michael Mayer to consider.
12:01Mayer has now commanded nine plus targets in two of his last three games with Brock Bowers also in the lineup.
12:08Let me repeat that. Nine targets. We cannot shrug that off given the state of the tight end position in fantasy football.
12:15In those games, Michael Mayer is running a respectable 2.1 yards per route.
12:19That is second on the team to Brock Bowers.
12:22He's drawing a target on 23% of those routes.
12:25He's gaining a first down on 13% of those routes.
12:28Like those are all not like super elite numbers, but very solid numbers for the per route efficiency metrics that I care most about.
12:36And now I won't lie. It is a dense stretch of games coming up here from Michael Mayer.
12:42It's the Rams, the Jets, the 49ers and the Seahawks who are all bottom five in points per game allowed to the position this year.
12:50It's not looking great. But if the Raiders are chasing points against the Rams, they're chasing points against the 49ers.
12:56The target still may funnel Michael Mayer's direction because with how dull the Raiders wide receiver room is, Bowers and Mayer are
13:03Kirk Cousins preferred options in this offense right now.
13:06And there you have it. My top six waiver wire stashes ahead of week seven.
13:11Go sprint to your waiver wire right now. Make sure that none of these guys are still available in your leagues.
13:17They're all rostered in 30% or less. So there's a good chance they might still be floating out there on your waiver wire.
