0:12Yo, what is going on? Fantasy Football Daily is back. We have a banger episode up for you today. 12 wide receiver deep
0:20sleepers. You should be drafting after pick 75. I've got my guys Joe Dolan.
0:25He's the managing editor here at Fantasy Points and Tom Bradley. He's our betting expert and one of our excellent fantasy experts here at the site. Tom was just
0:33telling me before the show he has targets and league winners coming out here pretty soon. That'll be our uh staff article where you can get all of
0:40uh basically all of our projectedbased targets, league winners, values. Tom always crushes that article. So, make sure you're on the lookout for that
0:48later today or later this week. If you have not already subscribed to the channel, you're missing out. Subscribe to the channel so you don't ever miss
0:57out on any of these videos. Hit the notification bell so you never miss when we go live like right now. Tom Joe,
1:03what's going on, guys?
1:05>> Yeah, I'm excited to have this article almost done. It is a big one. Uh well, it's going to be feature some of the
1:11players that we're going to talk about uh in today's video, but uh yeah, it's uh it it's a big one and we're going to
1:18have draft plans rolling out. We know we had the guru pump one out last week. I'm sure Scott Barrett uh sometime early in
1:25August. So, it's that time of year. I was telling Joe, uh people, you know, friends of the site, friends of the
1:32radio program, they're starting to reach out with their fantasy questions. So, uh I think everybody is waking up from their fantasy football slumber and are
1:39ready to talk a little football now.
1:42>> Yeah, World Cup is over. Uh there's no there's no there's no other sports on right now unless you want to watch
1:48baseball. I mean, come on. Who wants to watch baseball? It's time to talk fantasy. Joe, what's going on, man?
1:53>> Uh, nothing much, brother. Uh, it's, uh, I am now 40 and, uh, I guess the world is the same because I'm still talking
2:00uh, fantasy football the way I've been doing since I was 22 years old. So, uh, I'm back I'm back at it and ready ready
2:07for a a fun uh, fun show with you guys.
2:11>> Joe, you're your fantasy football career can officially buy cigarettes. 18 years.
2:15>> There we go.
2:16>> Yeah. [laughter] Uh, I'll bet you that puts it in perspective for >> season. This is my 18th season. Yeah, this is my 18th season.
2:22>> I was counting it up. I'm in I'm in year 12 now. We got a bunch of veterans here on the show. Uh what's up, chat? Jason,
2:28I see you. Bassman, I see you. Let's get into it here, guys. We'll talk 12 deep wide receiver sleepers on this pod. Uh
2:35we're looking at players past 75 overall. So, we're looking at, you know, players that are going in seventh round or later in drafts. uh not wanting to
2:44give out too too much Tom and from your targets and league winners article but we will like you if you tease we will be
2:50talking through some of the players uh that are on the list. Why don't you go and get us started. I think this player
2:56is going to make the list.
2:56>> Yeah, I was going to start with Michael Pitman. Joe's going to probably feature some of the guys from our Mr. Relevant
3:01article which we'll put out in the middle of August.
3:04>> Yeah, I went I went super deep on mine.
3:05>> He wants some some deep sleepers. I did a little mix of both. Uh, I got Michael Pitman heading heading over from
3:12Indianapolis to Pittsburgh. Uh, love the fit here for for this new Steelers offense under Mike McCarthy. Uh, Aaron Rogers wasn't an awesome fit with him
3:24and DK Metaf. He's more of a Metaf is more of a downfield threat and some of those deeper routes. I think Michael
3:32Pitman is probably going to fit Aaron Rogers at especially at this stage of his career. he wants to get back on, you
3:38know, a couple steps and throw it quickly on those slants and hitches and outs. I think this is going to be a good
3:46fit in this Steelers offense. And if we look at what Aaron Rogers was doing last year in our fantasy points data,
3:52quickest to throw last season. So, uh, he is going to get it out quick. And I think Michael Pitman is going to be the
3:58biggest beneficiary of that. Uh we saw a lot of targets to running backs last year with Kenneth Gainwell, but maybe some of those targets start going over
4:06to Michael Pitman. So uh and and one other thing that we have seen with this uh you know with Aaron Rodgers and with
4:14Mike McCarthy in Dallas, both of those guys like to throw the ball a lot down at the goal line, especially down inside
4:21the five and 10 yard line. Michael Pitman has not been a prolific touchdown scorer so far in his career, but he also
4:29was playing with Jonathan Taylor, one of the best running backs at the goal line over the last five years. So, you know,
4:36I I don't want to write him off as a guy that just can't score touchdowns. Uh maybe he develops. We'll see if it's him
4:42or M DK Metaf. That's probably going to be the ultimate decider who finishes higher in fantasy points this year. But I'm not rolling out Michael Pitman
4:51having a little a little bit of a small, you know, breakout here as a goal line threat in this offense with a
4:58coordinator and a quarterback who like to throw the ball down by the end zone.
5:03>> Yeah. So, uh, here's the way I was drafting, uh, Michael Pitman. Um, I I mean, I've been drafting him almost
5:09exclusively among the Steeler receivers, although Jeremy Bernard has a has a little bit of value late that I like.
5:14Um, and this is where you can see the differentiation between sharp rooms and square rooms. Um, looking at his ADP on
5:22on uh FFPC, he's wide receiver 38. He's going in like the late seventh, early eighth round. He is one wide receiver
5:31after DK Metaf. You know, earlier this off seasonason, I was saying things like, I prefer Michael Pitman straight up to DK Metaf and DK Metaf was going
5:40multiple rounds ahead of him. NFC drafters, excuse me, FFPC drafters have just completely determined that that might well be the case because now
5:49they're going back to back. But if you look at Sleeper, DK Metaf is going effectively two full rounds, three full rounds ahead of Michael Pitman. So, I
5:59think there's an exploitable angle there for you guys in your home leagues where uh some of the highstake drafters have realized that this has been a mispriced
6:06market all off season.
6:08>> Yeah, Joe, I'm just with you. I think Pitman does outscore Metaf. That's kind of how we have it projected here at
6:13Fantasy Points. Pitman is 15th in terms of our targets at wide receiver. The volume should be pretty good. I'm just with Tom that like the upside with
6:20Rogers in this offense like might be a little bit capped. Uh but by expected touchdowns last year, he and Alec Pierce
6:26basically had the same value right around seven last season. So, you know, it really is like with Pitman just, you know, having one of those, you know,
6:33monster seasons where he has like nine or 10 touchdowns that could kind of take him from being a really good wide
6:38receiver three in fantasy to more of a, you know, high-end wide receiver, too. I definitely like that call quite a bit.
6:45Guys, I'll keep us moving here. My favorite deep wide receiver sleeper and one of my favorite players to draft right now is Quinton Johnston. And this
6:52is this is kind of the same thing that Joe is just talking about in sharp formats. Quinton Johnson's going wide receiver 39 on FFPC. I looked this
6:59morning, Sleeper, he's going wide receiver 44, wide receiver 45. He's picked up quite a bit of steam, but QJ has some real upside in this offense.
7:07Over the last two seasons, he's finished wide receiver 33 in fantasy points per game. It's been a lot of spiked week
7:12production. Lots of ups and downs with him, but that's actually tied with DJ Moore and Jordan Addison, two players who go ahead of him consistently in
7:18drafts. And by volume, he and Lad Mac have basically had the same role by expected fantasy points. Lad is at 12.6
7:25expected fantasy points per game. QJ at 12.4 over the same time span. So, the volume has been pretty good. Now, he
7:32gets a huge play caller upgrade with Mike McDaniel. I know this is a player who's been meme'd constantly. QJ has been me'd constantly, but we get a huge
7:40play caller upgrade here with Mike McDaniel. Uh, it really is like a confluence of factors. I think QJ's kind of gotten underrated on these c on
7:48crossing routes and kind of horizontally breaking routes. We think of him more as like a deep threat. Here at Fantasy Points, we have our average separation
7:54score. And QJ's actually been very good over the middle, 74th or 75th percentile on crossing routes over the last two seasons. And he's actually been better
8:02than Lad McConi in terms of his run after the catch ability. I think there's some s like significant upside here with
8:09QJ. Uh he is getting priced up, guys. I think that is that is totally fair. He's he's run he's run quite a bit. He opened
8:16the season at like wide receiver 48 in ADP. I think everybody's kind of seeing the same thing I'm seeing, but the price
8:22is still right, Joe. I know I know QJ has been a little tricky for a couple years now, but one of these Chargers
8:30receivers, either Lad or QJ, I feel pretty confident saying is going to smash their ADP.
8:34>> Yeah. And if you believe in the offense, I think maybe you have to start to invest in maybe somebody that you'd
8:40consider an unsaavory player. As a matter of fact, I'm going to get to one a little bit later on in the program. Uh
8:46that that I feel they're not similar players, but I feel similarly like about the situation. So, I'm completely fine with drafting Quinton Johnston. You
8:54know, he could be a touchdown scoring machine. Um there it I feel like the tight end position is kind of hard to
9:01sus out there. Uh with with Aronda Gaston, the fact that they signed Charlie Kolar, they have all kinds of um of things going on there. They added a
9:09fullback here, but I feel like Quinton Johnson is probably their best bet to be a perimeter wide receiver, even if they
9:15go with the heavy tight end, heavy uh heavy packages. So, I I I'm okay with it. I I totally am fine with Quenton
9:21Johnston, even if he hasn't been a player that I've really invested in in the past.
9:26>> Yeah, I'm kind of excited to see him in this Mike McDaniel offense. A lot of when he was coming out of TCU, it was a
9:32lot of crossers, a lot of after the catch stuff that was really impressive.
9:36So, I think we're going to get more of those opportunities under Mike McDaniel and we we've seen the reports about Justin Herbert w working on his quicker
9:44drops and working on his release to get the ball out quicker. I think they want to keep him healthier. They don't want
9:50to necessarily do these, you know, sevenst step drops where he's uh back in the pocket for three or four seconds and
9:57and looking to get the ball downfield. I think they want to change it up a little bit here and get more of these quick
10:03hitters to QJ. So, uh, if we can just clean up some of these drops, I don't know if we're ever going to do that,
10:09but, uh, he is clearly uber talented and and as Trey would will tell you with his his own memes. He gets me'd, but Trey
10:18has his own meme. He is going to the the moon here this year. Uh, you know, up there with WBY and Conor McDavid and
10:25Show It Atane. It's Quinton Johnston time.
10:29>> Yeah. When I think freak athletes, I think of Quinton Johnson. That's for sure. amongst amongst [laughter] the best players.
10:35>> Yeah, Quinton Johnson. He's he's real interesting, man. I think um I think there's a better chance than most people are giving him that he like is the wide
10:42receiver one on this team. Uh last two seasons, they've played Quinton Johnson and Lad Manki have played in 27 games together. Lad only has 27 more targets
10:52than QJ. Uh that's one per game. I think there's some some nice upside here with QJ. Tom, I'll kick it back over to you.
10:59Who's your next deep sleeper this season? Yeah, I'm I'm going to that that Colts situation. They traded away Michael Pitman and that's going to
11:07elevate here. Josh DS as the maybe he's the number one receiver in this offense.
11:13Now, uh news came out yesterday that Alec Pierce will be starting the the training camp on the PUP [snorts] list.
11:21That's not it was, you know, kind of expected. They they did talk a little bit about that in June that uh he had
11:27the the ankle surgery in late March that it was going to be a four to six month recovery. They have any kind of doubts
11:33that he if he could miss time early in the season it makes sense to put him on that PUP list to uh give them a little
11:40bit more flexibility once the season does roll around if they need to keep him on that list. But uh so we'll see if
11:46Josh Downs see if this ADP starts to rise. uh he is buried in depending on where you're looking sleeper uh you know
11:54some of their ADP but more of the sharper formats he is much higher in the FFPC so uh we'll see if it starts to
12:03take off here in the next couple of weeks if Alec Pierce stays on the PP list but uh yeah this is just one of
12:08those situations where we're pulling uh Michael Pitman out of here with his 20% target share those got to be spread around somewhere and they didn't really
12:17bring in anybody to really take up targets outside of like Nick Westbrook Aune. So, it's going to go to these guys
12:24like Josh DS and Tyler Warren, Alec Pierce, but uh getting Michael Pitman out of the picture also gets Josh DS on
12:32the field a little bit more uh in those two wide receiver sets. So, I think he's going to, you know, finally see like
12:39regular route shares up in the like 75 to 80% range. He's kind of lived in that 60 to 65% range. uh which you know he's
12:48put up nice production uh as a kind of a part-time player, but uh now if we can get up into that more of a full-time
12:56role that gives us a little bit more stability in our fantasy lineups and maybe we can start to see some of those
13:02bigger performances from him. So I think he's going to be a pretty solid wide receiver three this season. Uh but he
13:09does have like that touch of upside here if if Alec Pierce if that ankle injury kind of hinders him all season. uh if we
13:17do get that big bump in a route share for him. So, uh give me some Josh Downs as a later pick as a a potential
13:23breakout.
13:26>> Yeah, I mean, if we look at at Josh DS, you know, I was just uh editing uh the biggest fantasy injury questions of
13:332026, which was uh an article that uh Dr. Physical Therapy Jeff Mueller wrote for us. And you know, he's a little bit
13:40concerned about Alec Pierce. This is what he said. I'm concerned about Pierce for the first half of the season due to
13:45anticipated regression in explosiveness and acceleration. By the way, this article is up there for Fantasy Point subscribers. And Daniel Jones is coming
13:52off a right Achilles repair. These two factors place a high risk of their vertical connection being disrupted until they both improve health-wise
13:59closer to mid-season. Now, Jeff said he wanted to invest heavily in Tyler Warren. Well, everybody's investing heavily in Tyler Warren. Tyler Warren is
14:07one of the first tight ends off the board in FFPC, which is a tight end premium format. He's a third round pick.
14:13Can you get a a a much cheaper investment in Josh DS? Absolutely. You can get him in the eighth and ninth
14:19rounds of fantasy football drafts on FFPC. And quite frankly, I mean, uh on Sleeper, he's an 11th round pick. This is a This is not Parker Washington,
14:30Christian Watson level of fantasy points, bro. Uh Josh DS, but he's in the next tier of fantasy points, bro. And has been for a couple of years now.
14:39Yeah, he's always been one of my guys, too. I thought I thought last year would be the breakout season. Hand up. Got
14:44that wrong. He got hurt in August. I do think that ankle injury he had in August did kind of slow him down, but all of
14:49the numbers underneath the hood, like on a per route basis, looked great. Uh Josh Downs is tied with JSN actually over the
14:56last three seasons. Wide receiver 20 in targets per route run at at 25%. Uh we just need to get this guy, like Tom was
15:03saying, we just need to get this guy on the field more, man. Uh, it's going to have to happen by Hook or by Crook,
15:08either with the Alec Pierce injury or just them not having really any depth. I did read one of the Colts beat writers
15:14uh earlier yesterday. I'm apologize. I forgot his name. Should have pulled it up, but he was basically, you know, speculating that they do bring in a
15:20veteran receiver. If it is Stfan Diggs, not so great. If it's more Debo Samuel, I'm definitely going to be still in on
15:26Josh DS. Uh, right now it really is just Stfan Diggs if they do make a move. Uh, I I have similar concerns though, Joe. I
15:34I'm like I that's the thing I keep coming back to with Jonathan Taylor in particular is like >> the Colts might stink. They really might
15:40stink to start this year between Jones coming back from injury, them not having really any good receivers. It's a concern for sure.
15:46>> Could it be the opposite of last year with the Colts off to the hot start and then missed the playoffs?
15:50>> That schedule was nice and easy early in the season and then everything collided at the end of last season. Much tougher
15:56schedule, Daniel Jones going down. Uh, at least we did get a piece of good news with Daniel Jones being ready to go at
16:02the start of training camp, but um, you know, maybe that ends up working a little bit in Josh Downs' favor. They
16:07they can't rely as much on Jonathan Taylor and maybe they're playing a little bit of catch-up in these games in the second half games. So, I I still
16:14really like Josh Downs, but I I do worry about this offense overall and this this Colts team um, might kind of stink.
16:20That's why I've been kind of pushing Jonathan Taylor down my first down first round list a little bit. Yeah, I I
16:28didn't figure I would be in on Christian McCaffrey this year, but I mean, he's going 67 overall. I straight up prefer
16:34him over JT. I just want I want pieces of that 49ers offense, and even if CMC is a little diminished version of
16:40himself, I think it's still super valuable. It's it's a big concern to me for for JT. Uh for JT Colts have a seven
16:45and a half win total. That's down there with the Panthers and Saints and Commanders, man. like there's there's some downside risk with this Colts
16:51offense that's not really priced into JT, but the rest of the pass catchers, even Tyler Warren, I know he's a little
16:56expensive. Uh six round pick in most formats, third round pick like Joe and S and FFBC formats. Uh but the rest of
17:02this pass catching group, especially Alec Pierce, is about to get a whole lot cheaper. I'll keep us going, guys. Ricky Pierol is just good at the game. He's
17:11really good. Like he's just not been able to stay healthy. obviously had the hard luck rookie season where he gets shot and then he gets hurt and was never
17:17really fully healthy last year. Looked incredible weeks one through four and then got hurt again, was not really fully healthy until late in the season.
17:25All the metrics underneath the hood look really, really good. We chart average separation score, that's our ass metric here at Fantasy Points data. Ricky
17:32Pieraw wide receiver nine in average separation score last season. Wide receiver three and win rate. He had a a yards per route run over two. That's
17:41usually a value that we're looking at in terms of efficiency. Anything over two is really good. Persaw was competing for targets last season with Jawan Jennings
17:49and George KD. And both those players, Jennings is gone. KD is hurt. Most likely not going to be ready for September. Mike Evans is awesome. He's
17:57going to be enshrined in the Hall of Fame. There's no doubt about it. Mike Evans is is one of the best receivers of
18:02this generation. That being said, he is getting older. He's 33 this season and he has pulled a hamstring in three straight years. There's some significant
18:10upside here that Pieraw at some point uh has some contingent upside and I was just mentioning I want to draft piece p
18:17pieces of this 49ers offense. I just want to draft Shanahan players, Shanahan receivers in particular. I'm all about Brock Pury this season and I think
18:25there's some spike deficiency chances here with Persaw guys. He scored zero touchdowns last year. Like that is completely crazy. He's been very unlucky
18:33on touchdowns and in this offense, Brock Perie has just been like a consistent 5 6 7% touchdown rate. So, if we have some
18:41like finally a good clean bill of health coming into this season for Piol, he is trying to rehab yet another injury, but
18:48he should be fully healthy, ready to go in training camp. Uh, and like I was saying, man, there's there are some
18:53really good games at the end of last year as well. Like when he got back fully healthy, he had a six catch 96
18:58yard game against the Titans. He had a five catch 85 yard game against the Bears and he started last season really
19:04hot in the opening month. I I just think we've seen enough right we've seen enough small sample good good games from
19:10Paw. We've seen enough from his separation score to think that he's good at the game and at this ADP man he's
19:16going wide receiver 44. Uh there's some there's some like like I really like this pick here for like a post hype
19:24sleeper type pick. And like I was saying, I mean if if Mike Evans or George KD do miss any time, there's a
19:29chance Pall might be their top receiver this season, Joe.
19:33>> Um did you mention that Christian Kirk's already hurt by the way?
19:36>> Yeah. And Kirk's hurt. Yeah. Yeah. Cathy already.
19:38>> So yeah, he's already picked up an injury. Um of course it's the 49ers, so that should be anticipated at this
19:44point. So, you have one of their their receivers, one of their veteran receivers who uh people probably just kind of forgot about that he's there,
19:50but he's hurt already. They have been talking up Dehon Stribbling. Um the the 49ers media machine is in full effect right now. Somehow they got all the
20:00reporters to bury the Kyle Shanahan uh car accident. And then uh they've got everybody out there saying, "Hey, BY THE WAY, THIS GUY that everybody thought we
20:09reached on, the entire NFL wanted to draft him, too." So, um, but Brock Perie was talking up Dehon Stribbling. So, if
20:16you want to invest a little bit later, uh, Stribbling is a guy who is down the board, but Ricky Pearl has first round
20:22pedigree, has acted on the first round pedigree. That's the thing, Graham. This isn't just somebody who, um, who well, he's going to get an opportunity now.
20:31So, even though I don't really like him, which is we're going to get to that with one of my players, um, the opportunity
20:37is there. No, we have seen him produce at a high level with all the efficiency metrics that you've seen. We just need
20:42him to stay on the damn field. And that of course is the biggest problem with literally everybody in this 49ers offense.
20:48>> Yeah, I I'll add that we love this 49ers schedule again. They had a really nice schedule last year. They took advantage
20:55of it.
20:55>> Uh they ended up finishing third in that NFC West. So they end up getting a a pretty nice schedule again to get extra
21:02games against Miami, Minnesota, Atlanta.
21:06Uh teams that they can put some production up against. So, they have a couple games against the Cardinals overall. Uh, so I we like the schedule.
21:14So, I'm with you guys. I, you know, this this has been one of my most targeted teams. I just want to get pieces of the
21:2049ers any way I can. George KD thought a guy I thought I was going to be totally out on because he tore Achilles so late
21:28in the season uh in the in the wild card round, but he's, you know, he's seems to be on pace and he's really, you know,
21:36reasonably priced. Brock Pertie's cheap again. Mike Evans is cheap. Even Christian McCaffrey in the middle of the first round I want. So overall, I am
21:46just looking to get pieces of this 49ers offense.
21:49>> Yeah, Joe, you mentioned the Kirk injury. Grant Conn, who's one of the 49ers beat Riders. He was speculating yesterday that they might end up cutting
21:54Christian Kirk, which would be very bullish for Stribbling. It would also probably be pretty bullish for Persaw, too, to kind of condense some of the
22:00targets there. You know what's funny about the the 49ers though? You really have to watch their beat writers because they have one guy. I think Grant Conn is
22:06the guy who's like who's you know you ever watch the old cartoons and there's an angel on one shoulder and a devil on
22:12the other shoulder. Yes.
22:13>> He is like the devil of the 49ers beat writers. He thinks Brock Party's overrated. He thinks Kyle Shanahan's a clown. Like and then they have that one
22:21guy who's holding the football in his profile pick who who thinks Brock Party is the greatest thing since Joe Montana.
22:28that Kyle Shanahan like you've gota really like they've got some characters on that beat so you have to just like be
22:34very careful with like uh >> it hasn't been a great couple of days for their beat writers either though Joe >> it's not been a good couple of years for
22:41their beat writers dude I mean >> not the Macaffrey injury a couple years ago was insane that that was ridiculous yeah
22:48>> that was absolutely insane I I still can't believe that even happened I'll I'll keep us going here guys as well is
22:55is one of the most mispriced players According to our fantasy points projections, our guy Chris Wet has Jacobe Myers right there, like right
23:03with BTJ, Parker Washington. He's the wide receiver, 48 in ADP, Jacobe Myers.
23:08And I, you know, there's I I question the upside. I question the upside with with Myers in a way that I I don't
23:14really question it with like Quinton Johnston. I think there's some big play upside with Quinton Johnston. Both these players kind of going similar ADPs.
23:21Guys, Jacobe Myers, wide receiver, 24 in eight full games last year. I think the floor is is pretty good. He did actually
23:28slightly underperform his role. He was wide receiver 16 in expected fantasy points. I don't know if I necessarily believe this to be like the case for
23:37this season. I don't know if I can project this out, but he actually led this team in target share, led them in
23:41first read target share last season in those eight games. Brian Thomas, excuse me, Brian Thomas was hurt dealing with a really bad ankle injury and Parker
23:49Washington was just that was like when he was just starting to peak. Myers again, wide receiver, 48 in ADP. Tom, he's kind of been priced down. He's
23:57super boring. Like super super boring.
23:59Like I said, >> Kobe Meyers every year, >> but he is like a good technical value.
24:04>> Mhm. No, if if you're He's going to be a wide receiver three most likely this season. He's going to put up those five
24:10for 60s most week. Uh you just hope that he scores more touchdowns than he doesn't uh in those given weeks. But
24:17he's going to be probably pretty safe in it. We saw this offense. Uh it gets attributed a lot to Parker Washington,
24:23but it was kind of that trade uh from Las Vegas when Jacobe Myers came over.
24:28He started doing a lot of the dirty work in this offense, doing those routes over the middle and and it kind of opened up
24:34the entire offense for for uh Trevor Lawrence. So, he is pivotal to to the Jaguars this off season. So, I I like
24:43it. It's it's not a sexy pick, but maybe it's it's one maybe you go kind of opposite and go load up at wide
24:50receivers early in the draft. You get a lot of high upside guys and maybe you you attack some of the other positions
24:56and then uh draft Jacobe Myers as your wide receiver four and you can easily plug him in most of the season as a wide
25:03receiver three or as your flex and he's going to give you steady production.
25:08So, uh, are we forgetting, by the way, that Jacobe Myers, if you if you look at the the Jaguars depth chart, that he's
25:13seven and a half feet tall, uh, like, uh, his head is in the clouds on the depth chart. So, are we underrating this
25:20factor? No. Uh, the thing about Jacobe Myers that I like is this is one of those offenses that I want to invest in,
25:25like like you guys said with the 49ers, and he's the cheapest way to invest in the offense, right? I think he's Is he
25:30even cheaper than Chris Rodriguez?
25:33>> Not right now. Oh, no. Rodriguez has come way down in price >> because of the injury, but like but yeah, he's a cheap way to invest in this
25:39offense. Like just like Brenton Strange.
25:42My my whole opinion all offseason has been what if the answer to the test here is just to draft Trevor Lawrence. I know
25:48that's one of John Hansen's major quarterback targets uh this year. Uh but Jacobe Myers is somebody who completely unlocked the offense when he came over.
25:56Yeah. Parker Washington when he uh ended up when he ended up playing more obviously got all the targets, but everything kind of coalesed when Jacobe
26:05Meyers was acquired and traded. They immediately extended him. Um, so I think this is a great pick, Graham. A boring pick, but a great pick of of somebody
26:13who's a fine way to invest in the offense.
26:16>> Yeah, by EPA per pass attempt, when Jacobe Meyers was on the field, this was the best passing offense in the field uh
26:23last season. They were like league average basically by EPA per pass. when when they didn't have Jacobe, he really did, like Tom was saying, did unlock
26:32this offense. And again, I I don't I question the upside here with Myers, right? Like we've never seen him post a
26:37wide receiver, you know, one season like Brian Thomas Jr. did in his rookie year.
26:42Um, also Parker Washington was I mean, he was their best receiver at the end of last season. We can't put that cap back
26:47in the in the hat. But, man, I I really really like uh Meyers at this price.
26:52Wide receiver 48 is is too cheap. And and like Joe was saying, I mean, we kind of want to take shots and all these
26:58Jaguar receivers. And I know Scott Barrett is very high on the Jags uh basically the entire team, but I think there's going to be at least one maybe
27:07two league winners on this Jags team from last season, guys. I mean, this offense closed the season averaging like 28 points per game. Would be one of the
27:14top top offenses in football if they were able to repeat that. So, >> yeah, Meyer's very boring. very very boring, but he is uh yeah, he's probably
27:24going to pay off his ADP. I you know, I think with any sleeper in this in this pocket, that's kind of that's kind of
27:29the baseline is what we're looking for is just like a good technical value and and Myers is certainly that. Joe, let's
27:34throw it back over to you. Who's your next sleeper?
27:36>> So, this is a player I was kind of alluding to this a little bit earlier that I don't necessarily like the
27:41player. We've never liked we we didn't love him as a prospect. Brett Whitefield thought he was an overrated prospect.
27:46did not think he was a first round pick.
27:49But this is now the range of drafts where I'm like, what if we're wrong and what if the opportunity to just invest
27:56in what should be a better offense this year is worth the cost. It's Xavier Worthy who's wide receiver 49 right now
28:04uh on on FF FFPC formats. comes off a year in which he caught just one touchdown pass, but remember he gets
28:13hurt in the first game on friendly fire coming across the middle of the field and never is right after that. He
28:20actually scored in his rookie season nine touchdowns. Uh if you'll remember that, uh I I would have taken the under on that. But Xavier Worthy now goes into
28:29an offense they did absolutely nothing at the wide receiver position this off seasonason. just a really really poor off season in my opinion for the Kansas
28:37City Chiefs with Patrick Mahomes coming off the torn ACL and Xavier Worthy is a player they could very much need. Their
28:43number one wide receiver is is a threat to pull the fire alarm at a daycare at any drop of the hat. So, you've got to
28:51have somebody who can step up. Worthy does have that first round pedigree. And how about this? over in 2025, midway through November, where shortly before
29:01Patrick Mahomes got injured, Xavier Worthy had the second mo highest uh second lowest share of yards deemed catchable, air yards deemed catchable in
29:13the entire NFL. Now, I know Scott Barrett's been poking the bear on Twitter a little bit because Patrick Mahomes has statistically per fantasy
29:20points data been one of the worst deep ball throwers in the NFL over the last number of years. But what if Patrick
29:25Mahomes recaptures some of that magic?
29:27What if, you know, the offensive line just kind of steps up a little bit?
29:32Patrick Mahomes doesn't run around as much. He himself alluded to the fact that he's not going to run around as much. And what if Rasheed Rice gets
29:38himself into hot water yet again? So, Xavier Worthy is a player at wide receiver 49. I just don't think it's too
29:45expensive to invest in somebody even if I didn't like him that much as a prospect now has a very low ADP in a
29:53potentially better offense that yeah I hope it's better Matt Naggie's not there obviously um we're thinking about Eric Benemy and what the tragedy that befell
30:02his family but I feel the same way about Xavier Worthy as I do in a way about Matthew Golden that like yeah I don't
30:08love the guy but like the cost is cheap enough that if they semi explode mode.
30:13You're going to be happy you made that draft pick.
30:16>> Yeah, he suffered that Labram injury.
30:18That was the third play of the season.
30:20That was on that Friday night game. They were down in Brazil. Torn labram. He ended up playing through the injury all
30:27season long. He could have easily sat out for a chunk of time or maybe gotten surgery, but he he decided to play
30:34through it. But if you look through some of our fantasy points data, uh he he play they used him differently and Andy
30:41Reid said as much at the uh the the owners meetings in March or April that they just didn't want to use him on, you
30:49know, crossing routes as much because they didn't want to expose that shoulder and uh you know, he ran significantly fewer crossing routes uh because of that
30:58shoulder injury. So maybe he's used a little bit differently. they can use some of that speed, get the ball in his
31:03hands a little bit more and let him create, not just use him. It it felt like last year it was just run down the
31:09field, draw attention, you know, we we'll give you opportunities, but uh maybe they'll use him a little bit more.
31:15You know, the diversity of his routes should expand this year a little bit healthier. And uh yeah, as Joe said, they they didn't bring anybody in, so
31:22they're they're counting on him. They used a first round pick. Uh it's time for him to step up and hopefully he is
31:28healthy this year and stays healthy.
31:29That skinny frame is a little bit frightening, but uh you know, he he stayed relatively healthy as a rookie.
31:35>> Yeah, I mean, Graham, uh I know you and you're on this page as well. Uh I I went with Xavier Worthy specifically because
31:41most everybody else of mine is a super deep sleeper, but yeah, Taekquin Thornton in the last round has been one of my favorite baseball picks. So, uh he
31:48was better than Xavier Worthy last year.
31:50It's just that, you know, Worthy has the first round pedigree.
31:53>> Yeah, Taekquin is really interesting as a late round pick in baseball for sure.
31:56I don't know if he's necessarily going to pop in season long leagues, but yeah, I I think that's my main concern about
32:02Worthy is that Taekwon Thornton was a better deep threat last season and and honestly, I know you said Scott spoken the bear. He's objectively right. Like
32:08since Tyreek Hill has left the Chiefs, Patrick Mahomes has struggled as a deep passer. He's really struggled and now he's coming back from, you know, an ACL
32:16injury. Uh I think Rasheed Rice, man, is just going to gobble up short area targets. I know it's a scam. I know. I
32:22know he's not really a real receiver, all of that, but man, like we're going to do this again where he's going to be,
32:27you know, just beasting underneath against zone coverage. Yeah, Xavier Worthy, he's tricky because like I think Rashu Rice is the primary target earner
32:35and I also kind of think, like I said, Taekquin Thornton might be the better deep threat, but yeah, clean bill of
32:39health going into this season. And it's kind of like the Ricky Pieraw factor.
32:43Everybody's kind of just completely written this guy off in his third season. Uh, I love a rookie wide receiver on the Browns and it's not it's
32:52not Boston, it's KC Conpion.
32:56I think one of these Browns receivers either Conpsion, Boston or Judy is going to significantly pay off ADP. But my chip is on Casey Conpion. The production
33:07profile is not great. Uh the last year at Texas A&M, he did not deal with the best uh quarterback play possible, but
33:15our guy Brett Whitefield had him as the wide receiver too in his personal rankings in his draft guide. You can check that out on Fantasy Points. Uh the
33:23pro prospect guy, Brett, wrote up a glowing review of Conpion in his tape, basically detailing how good of a separator he is. I I think the main
33:30thing I'm most interested in is this fit with Todd Mon. think he fits extremely well in terms of getting design targets
33:37uh in the screen game and obviously in this current NFL meta where you need to have a you know players that can run
33:42after catch against zone coverage you know kind of get open underneath. I think concepts fits this offense incredibly well. I started this whole
33:49thing by saying yeah his production profile was not great. Uh it's probably his quarterback play is probably going to be equally not great this season. Uh
33:57Jerry Judy went viral for for basically saying he wants Deshun Watson to start on TikTok. There's a funny video where he was being asked and he didn't really
34:04say it, but he put up the number four.
34:06Uh, listen, I I don't I don't think it's really like saying too too much here by saying that like Watson is their best
34:12option at quarterback this season. It would be a concern if Shadur Sanders was starting for any amount of time. It'd be
34:19very concerning for my love of Harold Fannon. Uh, but Conpsion, I think, probably has one of the higher floors in this offense just because he's going to
34:26get so many shallow design targets. And frankly, you don't really have to have the best quarterback play ever if you're going to get a bunch of design targets.
34:32I think Conpsion is kind of Monkins like Z Flowers. You know, there's there's some correlary between the the way that that these two players are used. And
34:41again, wide receiver 51 in PPR leagues.
34:44I think this is a player who could be leading this this receiver group. Not leading Harold Fannon. I think Fannon leads this team in targets, but leads
34:50the receiver group in in targets this season. Uh I just think he's a really good player and it's a good price to get
34:57in. wide receiver 51. I think like I said, one of these Browns receivers, Tom, I they it feels like one of them is
35:04just going to pop like >> Yeah. And I I lean towards Conpsion too with you, uh Denzo Boston. We I there
35:10were some highlights going around yesterday. He's uh making some plays on the perimeter. He looks pretty good, man.
35:15>> Yeah, he does look good. Uh maybe uh maybe it will be Boston by the end of training camp, but uh right now I'm
35:21sticking with Conpion and a lot of it is because of Todd Mon coming in here.
35:25Going to use him. I think he's going to use him in like the Z Flowers role, really move him around the formation,
35:31get him some designed targets, use him downfield as well. And I think that, you know, Jake Jake Triby did a a good
35:39article here uh last week, uh kind of the positional targets, who gets targeted by, you know, specific quarterbacks. And uh looking at the the
35:47the quarterbacks from Cleveland last year, way too many targets to to tight ends and to running backs. I think that to Todd Monkin will want to get some of
35:56these easy targets to a player like Con Casey Conpsion who's really great after the catch. So, uh that's where I'm leaning right now in this Cleveland
36:05offense. But maybe maybe we'll change a little bit if uh Denzel Boston keeps uh making some highlight plays in training camp.
36:12>> Yeah, I've been totally fine with Casey Conception at his price. Uh he was one of Brett's favorite receivers in the
36:17draft. I believe he was his number two receiver in the entire draft. And you know, they could go um multiple ways at
36:24the wide receiver position. They could go multiple ways at the quarterback position. And I think that's the only thing that's keeping Casey Conpsion guys
36:32from the kind of Mai Lemon here, a guy, by the way, I haven't invested a ton of at all in in reddraft where you're going
36:39like wide receiver 34 off the board. I think it's the concern about the quarterback position that's preventing him and pushing him down the board. So,
36:46you are already getting that discount with Casey Conpsion. Yeah, it's pretty rare to get a first round wide receiver going at wide receiver 51 and ADP. And I
36:54know rookie receivers and rookies in general last year kind of burned a lot of people. Uh but man, I mean it does
37:00feel like a really nice price to get in on a player who's got the, you know, high draft ped pedigree and is a good
37:05fit in this offense. Uh by the way, I I'm in on I'm in on Denzel Boston, too.
37:10I I think, like I said, one of these Browns receivers is really going to pop.
37:14Uh Boston is is a player who goes after Conpsion. But he drew Puka Nua comparisons from Brett Whitefield and from Lance Zirine. I think both those
37:23guys are two of the best uh talent evaluators at the receiver, you know, looking at receiver prospects coming into college. Uh when you draw Puka Nua
37:31comparisons from two great evaluators like that, uh I'm my ears certainly per perk up. Browns did a great job in the
37:38draft. They're doing a great job building talent around this team. We just really need better quarterback play. Uh, yeah. I mean, one of these
37:45guys is gonna pop. It's just It's probably not Jerry Judy. I feel pretty strongly about that.
37:51>> Joe, who's your next wide receiver? Deep sleeper this season.
37:55>> Yo, yeah, real deep sleeper. He caught 85 passes and had,000 yards last season.
38:00Uh, his name is Stefon Diggs. He is an 11th round pick on the FFPC right now.
38:06Um, and uh, there's just one problem.
38:08He's not currently in the NFL. He doesn't have a team, but it looks like he is evaluating his options. And we
38:14know there are teams out there that need wide receivers. As a matter of fact, we just talked about one. The Kansas City
38:19Chiefs need a wide receiver. The Washington Commanders need a wide receiver. And uh when Stefon Diggs is your sane option compared to Brandon
38:27Iayuk, that means you're probably in a bad spot. Uh the Baltimore Ravens, where wide receivers go to die, they need wide
38:34receiver. So there are multiple options for Stefon Diggs. He is evaluating right now. And all of those teams right now that I mentioned, Washington, Kansas
38:43City, Baltimore, you would say those are teams that conservatively have quarterbacks in the top half of the league in ability. So I those are the
38:53spots that I would like to see Stefon Diggs land. Now you also mentioned earlier, Graham, what if he lives in Indianapolis? That wouldn't be so good
39:00in my opinion. That wouldn't be good for Alec Pierce. It wouldn't be good for Josh DS. And I think that would be the
39:05least appealing spot for Stefon Diggs.
39:08Nonetheless, if he signs with any of those first three teams or another team that needs a receiver today, where does his ADP go? At least 10 wide receiver
39:17spots higher, right? So, you're just right now getting a discount on a player who can still go. I'm not I'm not
39:24expecting him to be a league winner, but he was somebody who I was not in on last year, and he very surprisingly was a
39:30quality lineup filler on a on a week- toeek basis.
39:34>> Yeah, he played really well last year.
39:36The only our only complaint with him was that he was, you know, basically running 60 to 65% of the routes most.
39:42>> Was that smart though? Like I mean >> maybe it was maybe that preserved him.
39:46Maybe that helped him play better. Uh but it we kind of wanted him to play a little bit more for fantasy. So
39:52hopefully wherever he lands, he gets more of a full-time role, but I mean this guy can still play at a high level.
39:57He's coming off that ACL injury and I think everybody maybe, you know, people were writing him off a little bit uh in
40:02his 30s, but he can still play and uh that quickness is still there. Not not the complete receiver like he once used
40:09to be. He's more of the all in the short area, intermediate areas, but uh still can get open very easily and still had a
40:17lot of that quickness coming back from that ACL injury.
40:20>> Yeah, if he goes to Washington, I think Joe, to your point, I think he goes more than 10 wide receiver spots. I think he
40:25come becomes more of like a wide receiver 30s type pick. I think there's going to be a lot of enthusiasm around
40:31Diggs. You know, you mentioned, you know, the only thing that was really holding him back, like you said, Tom, was just he didn't play a full-time a
40:37full-time role, but he was still wide receiver, 24 in PPR points per game last season despite not playing a full-time role. And I was right. You're right,
40:45Joe. I was I was not in on Digs last year either. I just thought he was kind of a diminished player, but he he proved
40:50a lot of us wrong. Uh there's there's going to be a big big market for him.
40:54He's going to miss, you know, kind of the Keenan Allen effect from last year.
40:57Going to going to take a couple weeks off from training camp, you know, get a couple couple weeks in July and then uh
41:02then he's going to he's going to sign.
41:04He's going to have a nice market here in a couple weeks, especially if there's a couple of injuries. Uh Tom, >> yes.
41:09>> Who's your next deep wide receiver sleeper here, man?
41:11>> I believe it's Jaylen McMillan. I have two backtoback. Yes, it is Jaylen McMillan from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
41:18A >> guy I think we all kind of liked a lot after his rookie season. He was uh lot of he won a lot of fantasy championships
41:25for his run at the end of uh his rookie season. Uh really exploded in the last five games. Averaged 19.8 fantasy points
41:34per game. Uh seven touchdown catches uh during that stretch. So we were kind all kind of buying in. And then first
41:42preseason game came around against the Steelers. Nasty injury lands basically on his head and neck area. uh ends up I was surprised he actually came back and
41:53played last season. I thought they might just give him the whole season off and let him let him recover, but he did end
41:59up uh getting healthy and and playing at the end of last season, which I think tells you a lot about him. A lot of
42:06other guys maybe have would have, you know, rehabbed a little slower and maybe uh you know, came back in 2026, but he,
42:13you know, he was rehabbing hard and was able to play at the end of last season.
42:17And uh the Buccaneers, they they must felt pretty good about their uh their receiving core heading into this season.
42:24They let Mike Evans walk to San Francisco. They couldn't match the money that uh he ended up get getting from the
42:2949ers. So, uh I think there's an opportunity for him to step into a pretty big role. Uh Chris Godwin, maybe he bounces back this year, but he
42:40didn't look completely right at the end of last season whenever uh he came back.
42:45Uh he is getting into his 30s here. So maybe he is on the on the wrong side of his career. Amecha Ibuka, we'll see. A
42:54lot of questions. Maybe he is one of these top 12 wide receivers. I didn't really think about him that way coming
43:00into the NFL last year. The first five or six games was I thought more of the outlier than what we saw at the end of
43:07last season. So uh maybe, you know, maybe he is uh not quite that number one wide receiver. So, I think Jaylen
43:14McMillan has an opportunity here to grab a bigger role than people anticipate.
43:19And, uh, Baker Mayfield, they they had a little bit of a connection at the end of last season. Uh, you know, pretty
43:26limited 74 routes, but, uh, 20% target share on those routes, 2.41 yards per route run. Uh, small sample alert. There was, you know, a couple of big plays in
43:37there, but uh still pretty promising overall for a guy that missed a whole lot of time and still came back and
43:44contributed at the end of last season.
43:45So, I love taking chances on this guy.
43:48Uh I think he could climb easily if we look at Amecha Ibuka, who we have questions about as a true number one,
43:55and Chris Godwin if he is on the downside of his career.
43:58>> Yeah, I'm I'm a little worried about Godwin um at this point. I I haven't been clicking Godwin's name a whole lot.
44:03I'm a little concerned that I haven't been clicking Ibuka's name enough. Uh it's not somebody I'm out on. It's just one of those guys who I just haven't
44:11been clicking the name for whatever reason. Uh if I I I just don't end up getting in a proper draft slot or
44:17somebody takes him beforehand. But McMillan's been kind of my guy that I've been drafting the most of this Buccaneers receiving group.
44:24>> He is one of my favorite deep sleepers.
44:27I just did a uh deep sleeper show with Ryan a couple weeks ago. after you're done listening to this pod, go back and
44:31listen the show Ryan and I did. That was he was one of my favorite picks, too, Tom. Uh it is small sample, but at the
44:37end of at the end of 2024, man, he was on a tear. You look at his last 10 games, I think it was 10 or 11 games.
44:44The stat is like basically he's been like averaging 13 PPR points per game.
44:48He's like wide receiver 24 over his last 10 games. It was a little bit of, you know, infused by touchdowns at the end
44:55of that 24 season. He had seven touchdowns on like 35 targets. uh not going to sustain that touchdown rate, but like you said, they definitely are
45:02trusting him to kind of be the primary outside wide receiver. Ted Hurst can certainly play that kind of like vertical x receiver role. Uh but I think
45:10they they like McMillan quite a bit. I think they they told us exactly what they think about McMillan. I'm concerned about Godwin, Joe. I'm real concerned
45:18about Godwin. The the tape last year was really bad. It's two major injuries now, the ACL and the ankle. I I this is a
45:26player I've loved my entire analyst career. Like it really pains me to say this, but I I I'm pretty concerned about
45:31Godwin long term. Uh he's now 30, just coming back from, you know, two major injuries. Man, it's just it's really tough. Uh we're talking deep wide
45:40receiver sleepers past 75 overall. I was teasing early in the show. Our guy Tom Bradley is going to be coming out with
45:48the league winners, values, and targets article here either today or tomorrow, sometime this week. If you have not already subscribed, you can use code

46:19deep wide receiver sleeper. My last one here is Jaylen Naylor for the Las Vegas Raiders. He's he's coming over from the
46:25Minnesota Vikings. He's still wearing that purple jersey in his head shot here, but he'll have the silver and black on in the near future. Uh this is
46:34another team we've talked about, oh well, they, you know, Stefon Diggs or Debo Samuel, one of these free agent wide receivers, are they going to go to
46:42Jaylen uh to to Las Vegas? But uh I think if we look at what Jaylen Naylor got, I think people kind of, you know,
46:50forget or they don't realize that they gave him 23 million guaranteed to come from Minnesota. That is not a small chunk of change. That is not a one-year
47:00prove it deal. That is uh we want you to kind of be the guy maybe this year, maybe eventually slide into the number
47:07two spot, but uh we have big plans for you. And uh as Trey was dropping in the comments there, he is an ascot. He is
47:14one of these guys that uh always pops in our average separation score. Had a really great season in 2024. Small drop
47:22off last year, but still, you know, running open a lot of times last year.
47:28His big problem was, you know, he's playing next to Justin Jefferson, guy who commands, you know, right at the top of the league in terms of targets. Then
47:36they have Jordan Addison as the the number, you know, number two wide receiver, also a first round pick. he's going to get a lot of targets. But uh
47:45now Jaylen Naylor even even at the start of his career it was Adam Thielen was up in Minnesota. So he's had a lot of you
47:52know top tier talent ahead of him. It it kind of blocked him a little bit but we did get to see some of those flashes
47:58over the last couple of couple of years after Adam Thielen left. Now he really gets an opportunity to shine in in Las
48:05Vegas with Kirk Cousins, a guy that he did have some snaps with uh early in his career in 2022 and and 23. Uh so Kirky
48:15will be there. He gets to work with Fernando Mendoza. Uh Clint Kubak, they never overlapped up in Minnesota, but I'm sure he has a lot of friends still
48:24on that uh on that staff. So u you know, the 23 million guaranteed. I I I like that. I like that they have kind of
48:32refused to do anything at this wide receiver position. They're going to let Brock Bowers and Naylor and and and Trey Tucker kind of, you know, run with it
48:41and see what they do here with these young quarterbacks. So, u I think Jaylen Naylor is a guy that, you know, don't
48:48really think of. He didn't have pedigree coming out of Michigan State and wasn't a high pick or anything, but he really
48:55pops in our metrics. So, uh, I'm looking for him to take a step forward in his real, you know, really his first
49:01opportunity to be a number one or number two wide receiver.
49:04>> Any interest in the motion man, Trey Tucker? I think I think you can make the similar argument to him, right? Like I
49:10just going a lot cheaper. Uh, I guess the Raiders are probably a threat to sign Stefon Diggs. I just don't know if
49:16Diggs wants to attach himself to a team that is not going to contend this year.
49:21>> Could you imagine Stefan Diggs in Vegas?
49:23Oh my god.
49:24>> Does not sound like a good [laughter] >> That doesn't sound like a good combo.
49:27>> Fernando would be out there trying to get him on the straight and narrow, but uh [laughter] good luck with that.
49:32>> He's going to end up like that that um you know the the meme of of the two bros who who exchange shirts after
49:38partying [laughter] at the club. That's going to be Stefon Diggs on like a random Wednesday night in Vegas. But no.
49:44Yeah, he should keep himself out of there. But no, I mean, I think this is this is a guy who's being paid to be
49:49their I mean, he is being paid to be their number one, but he's not making number one receiver money. This is an easy
49:56click for me at this price.
49:57>> Yeah, I I I'm with you. I think if there is a player who can significantly beat their ADP in this offense and and
50:03actually be like a seasonl long difference maker, it is Naylor. We've seen enough small sample efficiency with between his average separation score and
50:10just having a few good games here and there as you know, the Vikings wide receiver four. Uh they did pay him a
50:15boatload of money like Tom was saying.
50:17And uh yeah, Jack Bash, remember that guy? Jack Bash, it doesn't seem like he's really done much of anything. He really got buried last year in training
50:24camp. I have not heard any buzz around Bes at all going into this season. Uh I'm I'm just I'm just out on pretty much
50:32all of these readers pass catchers except big time on Brock Bowers and I'm with Tom that Jaylen Naylor is a nice
50:39deep sleeper. Joe, we're going to do backtoback deep wide receiver sleepers here. You're you're going real deep with yours. I like these picks, though.
50:46>> Okay, so we are we're if we're talking ass, we are going we've got to go with one of the most underrated separators in
50:52the entire league. His name is AD Mitchell, Adnai Mitchell, whatever you want to call him. Over the last two years, he leads the league, tied with
51:00Puka Nua in separation win rate. Um, so he is a and he is a guy who gets open when he gets the opportunity. Now,
51:08there's been one major problem with AD Mitchell. the guys throwing him the football. In uh in 2025, he was second
51:18to last in EPA per target. Now, look, this that is an offense stat because you look at the guys who were down at the
51:27bottom of the league. Jerry Judy was by far the last. Justin Jefferson was just above AD Mitchell. I think that speaks
51:34to that being a quarterback stat. Over the last two seasons, AD Mitchell has the league's worst worst to best
51:44catchable target rate. Only 576.6% of his targets have been deemed catchable over the last two years. Now, look, I made fun of Gino Smith as much
51:55as anybody last year. But Gino Smith is an upgrade over what AD Mitchell has played with with Justin Fields and what
52:02was that guy's name? Brady Cook and and Anthony Richardson. just a massive upgrade over these guys. Uh if the Jets offensive line, which I has a lot of
52:13young talent on it, can keep Gino Smith upright. My biggest concerns, of course, are that I think the coaching staff might be full of bozos. Maybe Gino is
52:22completely washed and Garrett Wilson just commands such a massive target share. Nonetheless, wide receiver 66, easy price for me to pay uh for one of
52:32the more underrated talented receivers in the league. Yeah, I I I like this pick, especially for like basketball.
52:38You know, he I think he's really gonna probably erupt for a couple of big games here. He's he's been one of these guys
52:44that's been inconsistent uh throughout his career, but I think he's going to have a couple of big performances and we saw it a little bit at the end of last
52:51season whenever he came over in the Sauce Gardener trade and Garrett Wilson was out of the lineup. he got an opportunity to kind of run as the the
52:58number one with Brady Cook and uh even then he he still kind of fought through that and had some performances that were
53:06uh you know you know halfway decent with the very quarter poor quarterback play.
53:11So always been one of these guys who's very talented and I think he's a fine pick especially really late as you said
53:19Joe this is a very deep sleeper. Gino Smith has like the new Jameus Winston kind of like vibe going. Like he's he's
53:27not terrible like in terms of his catchable throw rate. Over the last two seasons, Gino is actually QB8 in catchable throw rate. The only problem
53:34there's only one big problem.
53:35>> The defense catches a lot of those.
53:38>> Yeah, the defense does catch a lot of them. He makes a lot of bad decisions.
53:41The turnover worthy throw rate is also QB7. Over the last two seasons, he has uh it's Tua, Spencer Rattler, Anthony Richardson, Will Levis, Jamus, my guy
53:49Jamus, and Shadura Sanders. Those are the only quarterbacks that have a worse turnover worthy throw throw rate than Gino over the last couple years.
53:56Honestly, that can be really fun for fantasy though cuz like for for Gino in particular, and I think this actually is
54:01a big it this is one of the major reasons I'm actually buying Garrett Wilson this year. First time I've been buying Garrett Wilson in basically any
54:08of the last three years. Gino does have that like kind of out where he he is like he does provide some like high
54:15floor catchable throw rate in terms of his, you know, uh, his talent, but he also throws throws a [laughter] lot of
54:20turnovers, which can be really fun for fantasy because it kind of speeds the game up. Uh, gives additional possessions in the game. Uh, short field
54:27as well. If if the other team gets the ball back and and, you know, scores points real quick, the Jets will get the
54:32ball back. Uh, Gino is is is he's been me to a point now where I think his receivers, Joe, I'm I'm with you. I
54:39think there's a few a few receivers on this team that are are probably going to pop. Garrett Wilson, like I said, is the
54:45main buy. I also kind of in on Kenyan Sadi. I was talking to Chris Wack the other day. He was mentioning that he's
54:50like I think we're going to look back on Kenyan Sadik and be like, why weren't we drafting this guy like a lot a lot more
54:56aggressively? Uh I'm with I'm with you that one of these guys is going to pop.
55:00Ad Mitchell certainly could be that guy as well.
55:04>> This Jets defense could really stink this year. Yeah, I think we might have like our perception of what this Jets
55:09defense was the last couple of years, but it could be really bad this year.
55:13Could be playing a lot of shootouts.
55:15>> Yeah, the the defense might stink. And I I think Joe's just right, man. Like my concern is actually not Gino, it's Frank
55:22Reich and Aaron Glenn maybe just being dots. Like for real. Like Frank Reich, he was awesome with the Eagles, Joe.
55:28Like you can you can speak to this, but everything else like he got fired real quick from the Colts. He got fired real
55:33quick from the Panthers. He went down to the college ranks last year. I believe it was at Stanford and I mean that
55:38offense really struggled. I mean it's been it's not the last >> to be fair to him. He was helping them through like through like Scandal and
55:46all that stuff. So I mean that that that's not one I want to place the blame on Frank right for he was helping out a
55:51buddy Andrew Luck there.
55:52>> That's true. Yeah. But I mean the Panthers and and Colts tenures were pretty pretty bad. Uh I I am interested
55:58to see if he's like evolved a little bit. you know, he's been Frank Reich has been at the bottom of the league in
56:04terms of his motion rate, in terms of his play action rate. So, maybe the year off, maybe he's learned a thing or two.
56:09He can teach you in old dog new tricks.
56:12We'll see. Uh, but I am I am pretty interested in this this uh this Jets offense just because I think I think
56:17Gino is maybe the sad as this is, I mean, he's definitely the best quarterback that Garrett Wilson has ever played with.
56:23>> Joe, final deep wide receiver sleeper.
56:25You're talking about a cowboy that's going way way deep in fantasy this year.
56:30So, like look, one of the things that I was thinking of with this is if there was an injury at the wide receiver
56:35position for Dallas, like where does Ryan Florenoi jump in the waiverwire column? Like he might end up being the number one waiverwire pickup of the
56:43week. This is somebody who had a couple of moments last year uh with the Cowboys. Obviously, CD Lamb dealing with some injuries. Um 40 catches for 475
56:53yards and four touchdowns for Ryan Florenoi. the drum beat continues to to kind of hammer with that. Now, I don't necessarily anticipate Ryan Florenoi
57:03having true standalone value if CD Lamb and George Pickkins are on the field just because those guys are going to suck up so many targets. And if if Dak
57:12Prescott needs to to go deeper in his progressions and it's third and six, he'll throw the ball to Jake Ferguson for six and a half yards and Jake
57:20Ferguson will fall down. That's kind of how their offense has has um operated.
57:25But this is a guy Ryan Florenoi who in EPA per route run last year was sixth behind just Pukanua, Jackson Smith and
57:32Jigba, Stefon Diggs, George Pickkins, and Alec Pierce. This was somebody who was a winning player when the Cowboys threw him out on the field. And look, CD
57:41Lamb had an in had some injuries last year. George Pickkins I I'm not necessarily really concerned about George Pickkins. I'm still taking him in
57:49the second, third turn, but there's like a 5 to 10% chance that George Pickins is a flight risk this year. You know, he's
57:55playing under the franchise tag. I think the Cowboys have determined that's the way to motivate him. But if George Pickins just packs up his bags and says,
58:02"See you guys, I'm gone." Ryan Florenoi instantly jumps to the top of the waiverwire column at at the position.
58:08Now, the one reason that I don't think Fornoi might contain standalone value alongside both Pickkins and Lamb is because I anticipate this Cowboys
58:16defense, which was a league worse last year to be closer to league average. You know, especially improving at the safety position, but Ryan Florenoi has been one
58:26of my favorite best ball clicks. You know that this Cowboys offense is going to produce at a top 10 level, presuming
58:31Dak Prescott stays healthy. So, this is just a really simple click for me and a bet that man, if George Pickkins or CD
58:38Lamb were to get hurt, Ryan Florenoi probably is going to be ranked in our top 24 at wide receiver for those weeks.
58:45>> Yeah, I I should just start preparing the blurb already, Joe. Just get it ready to throw it right at the top of
58:50the Waverwire article. Uh, go pick up Ryan Florenoi. And, uh, for good reason.
58:56Over 60% route participation last year.
58:59He did that five times. Average 14.2 2 fantasy points per game. So, uh that's those are pretty good numbers. Uh so, he
59:08should get a bigger role anyway this season. Uh you know, because they kind of found, you know, it was one of those
59:12I don't think they really knew what they had in him until he started to play a little bit more. CD Lamb, uh you know,
59:20missed a little bit of time and got him some opportunities to play. And now they think they have a pretty legit wide
59:26receiver here. So, I think he's going to be playing in a lot more three wide receiver sets. And maybe he gets a
59:32little bit of standalone. I I don't think so. But we're drafting this guy really late, especially if we we got one
59:38of these deep benches. Just a guy to go stick on your bench. And uh when the time comes, you have one of the top
59:45waiverwire pickups on your roster already.
59:47>> In Dak Prescott's last three seasons that he's played at least 16 games, he's had at least 590 pass attempts and at
59:54least 30 touchdowns. There's a chance that there are multiple wide receivers that are usable here in fantasy. I've always been a big fan of Dak and anytime
60:02he's been healthy, this is I mean he's been just a printfest as receivers between Lamb or really anybody that's been on the field with him. We even had
60:09that stretch last year where Lamb got hurt and Jake Ferguson was like a top three fantasy tight end. He has been a
60:14kingmaker for fantasy. I love this call.
60:17It's more of a best call, Joe, for Florenoi. I think, you know, just in Cowboy stacks, he makes a ton of sense.
60:22So, I like this quite a bit in in that format. But, man, I you know, Dak is just he's always going to be my guy. I I
60:28think we're we're he's still too cheap in fantasy. Uh one and a half rounds later than Joe Burrow is just is just
60:34complete disrespect to Dak Prescott.
60:36Guys, this has been awesome. Hour of 12 deep wide receiver sleepers. They're going to help you win your leagues. We got a comment here from 123 dude man 4.
