0:11That's him. That's the OG.
0:23We're talking players that are turning heads in a positive way at NFL mandatory mini camp. Mandatory mini camps are are popping off this week. There's a lot of
0:32news coming at us. A lot of like coach speak, a lot of beat reporter speak.
0:37Some players that we were not anticipating seeing at mandatory mini camp are working out on the sideline.
0:43Some positivity with injuries. Uh just a whole lot of like news dumps for us when we've been waiting for this sort of
0:49thing. So we got it from OTAAS and now we're getting it in a major way from NFL mandatory mini camps. Shout out to
0:57everybody who supported my Knicks last night. Knicks in five energy is is back.
1:01Everybody's dragging a little bit, but what a game. Uh hopefully we have that same energy on today's show. Big shout out to the live chat. I see Nikki Banks
1:09in here. I see Matt uh I see Matt Cardy.
1:12A ton of people that I'm seeing literally every single day supporting this channel. We are so close to 25,000 YouTube subs. And a big shout out to
1:20everybody who supported the growth of Fantasy Football Daily podcast this year as well. Uh, we're going to jump right into it. Got to start talking Brian
1:28Thomas Jr. and there's been so much positivity on this channel when it comes to Parker Washington. And this is not a
1:35negative to Parker Washington whatsoever. You're talking about players that are valued in the sixth and the seventh round of draft. So, you're
1:43talking about BTJ and you're talking about Parker Washington. Everybody's sort of enthusiastic for a Trevor Lawrence. Uh, not not necessarily a
1:50breakthrough. He broke through last year, but Trevor Lawrence becoming more of a consistent fantasy football weapon and edge pick in drafts this year.
1:59There's not a whole lot of negativity with Trevor Lawrence. There's not a whole lot of negativity when it comes to Liam Cohen. So, for me, why can't both
2:08of these guys succeed? They don't have overlapping skill sets. They're going to have different roles, but out of Jacksonville, the the vibes right now
2:17with Brian Thomas Jr. are immaculate.
2:20Uh, everybody is on this train. We even saw Bashel Tutin hyping him up after practice yesterday. Bashel Tutin said, and Bashel Tutin we could have put on
2:28this list. One of the coolest uh quotes we saw yesterday was Bashel Tutin saying that his 40 time has improved and the
2:35guy that would give him the the biggest uh problem in terms of like a race on Jacksonville would be Brian Thomas Jr.
2:41Everybody's talking about the speed.
2:43Everyone's talking about the explosiveness. And I know some of you don't want to hear positivity with BTJ.
2:49BTJ burned a lot of people last year.
2:51Burned a lot of people in Dynasty.
2:53Burned a lot of people in reddraft. Was drafted at the one-two turn last year and now has fallen all the way down to
3:00the seventh round. Sixth late sixth round for some of you or seventh round for for many of you. And when we look at
3:06BTJ, it's pretty easy to to figure out why. When you go from catching 87 passes for,282 yards and 10 touchdowns as a
3:15rookie and then you drop down to the 48 catches for 707 yards and two touchdowns in 2025, like really, really ugly stuff
3:24in terms of the regression we saw. But then we talk about BTJ last year sort of playing hurt, playing through some
3:30things, being very uncomfortable out there. I'm very open-minded to a year three bounceback season and BTJ delivering value as a post hype sleeper.
3:40So you see if you're watching this on YouTube, we're showing highlights. BTJ had a 41 yard reception downfield. Liam Cohen really talked him up yesterday. Uh
3:50some really positive quotes in terms of coach speak. Um, basically he said that it's the confidence of the connection and chemistry that they're building is
4:02real. He's talking about Trevor Lawrence with Brian Thomas Jr. and it's he talks about the standards which he wanted to improve on. So, it's just it's just
4:13nothing but positivity here. He mentioned Grant Udinsky, the offensive coordinator. He mentioned Edgar Bennett, the receivers's coach. like everyone's sort of locked in on BTJ delivering
4:24value this year. And if we look at Jacksonville collectively, like why can't it be BTJ? We saw it yesterday like made two big downfield catches. We
4:33talked about the 41 yard. Uh actively involved inside the red zone during drills. I I think that there's a couple people in the chat that are a little bit
4:42apprehensive about this one, but then there's other people in the chat who are saying that I can see it. And then, you
4:48know, when we talk about one of the biggest question marks with BTJ is we saw a lot of his positivity as a rookie
4:56when he was associated with M. Jones.
4:58And I think that's maybe the best argument where can Trevor Lawrence support a receiver like this? You think of the the receivers that have thrived
5:07with Trevor Lawrence. You look at Parker Washington down the stretch last year.
5:12You look at Christian Kirk. You look at Calvin Ridley who was a lockedin wide receiver two. Kirk was a borderline wide
5:19receiver one. And then you look at Evan Ingram who uh had one of the most prolific seasons in the history of the
5:26league in terms of catches by a tight end where he was really playing slot wide receiver and they just parked him
5:32in there uh and he was thriving with Trevor Lawrence. BTJ is different than that. BTJ is a big outside alpha threat.
5:40I do think that there's a chance that we've seen Trevor Lawrence improve and I do think when it comes to offensive
5:46minds in the league. I defer to Liam Con is one of the guys that I think is super sharp. So, I'm willing to believe in
5:52this one. And when we talk about Parker Washington or Brian Thomas Jr., I don't think you have to choose one or the
5:58other. I don't think that's a copout.
6:00People love when you are extremely high on one guy and extremely low on the other. Uh and and we speak in extremes
6:08in fantasy football. You're not going to find that on this channel. I think I'm open-minded to uh range of outcomes and
6:14guys who have a chance to really thrive and potentially just sort of hit their ADP. And I think BTJ's price to do just
6:22that. I had a couple people uh yesterday I'm uh at the OG Fantasy on X and a couple people who I respect who do
6:29projections and rankings.
6:33Bradley Stalder who does it over a player profiler was sort of questioning this one and he said you know I see BTJ
6:38as wide receiver 34 I only have him as wide receiver 31 and my question to the people like Chris Wet Bradley Stalder
6:45people who I respect who do projections is what if you're wrong by 15%. Not wrong excuse the extreme level but BTJ
6:53just has two more spike weeks then you're talking about a guy who delivers.
6:56So I am very open-minded to this one.
6:59Uh, we have a a a super super chat question. Struggling to pick in the sixth round out of Watson and BTJ. I'm
7:06Christian Watson right now over Brian Thomas Jr., but I think they're both very good picks. And I'm seeing BTJ going behind Christian Watson. We've
7:13seen Watson rise up to like the fifth round in FFPC league. So BTJ, I'm completely open-minded to it. I think this is a player that we need to monitor
7:23all offseason long. But right now, if we get back to being fully healthy, and again, I'll remind you, this is not some
7:29theoretical asset in fantasy, this is a player that we saw put up 87 catches, nearly 1300 yards, and 10 touchdowns as
7:38a rookie. Delivered top six wide receiver numbers as a rookie, falls off in year two. What is he? Is he closer to
7:46rookie year, BTJ, or was that just the the or did he just run unbelievably pure and thrive with M. Jones, or is he this
7:55guy that fall fell apart last year and he's suddenly going to be number three in the pecking order to guys like Parker
8:01Washington, maybe Jacobe Meyers? Could we split the difference here? Could we look at a guy who has 70 catches for uh
8:081,000 or maybe,00 yards and six or seven touchdown catches? If he does that, he's a smash value at his current ADP. So, I
8:17am very much into BTJ. We're going to keep an eye on him throughout mandatory mini camp. The next players we want to
8:23talk about, we're getting some clarity here out of Washington. And we're looking at this team as a source of fantasy football value, not just with
8:33Jaden Daniels. Jaden Daniels is about as locked in as it gets at the quarterback position, but you're paying a premium price tag for him. But when you start
8:41trying to extract value from Washington, it sort of begins and ends with Terry McLaren. And we got some positivity on the beat reporter side and we've had
8:52positivity on the coach speak side this off seasonason. David Blau at the opening press conference talked about how we want to target Terry McLaren 10
9:00times every single game. Everything's going to run through Terry McLaren. Then we're getting some beat reporter speak where uh they're talking about Terry
9:09McLaren running a more varied route tree in 2026. You look back at like the Cliff Kingsberry offense where McLaren would continually line up on like one side of
9:20the field. It was like people who chart this sort of thing were sort of like dumbfounded by why he wasn't moved
9:26around even in his smash season in 2024.
9:29I think with David Blau we're really going to see it. And when we look at Terry McLaren he's been a player that's
9:34been consistently good for fantasy football. then had a great season in 2024 where he had the most touchdown catches in Commanders
9:45Redskins history as a franchise. Um, I think we're back for a really really strong year, but I don't think that the
9:51driver of m the driver of McLaren is going to continue to be receiving yards.
9:56It's going to continue to be receiving touchdowns. But I do think there's some insulation in the floor this year with the lower A dot looks getting some of
10:06these easy button targets to him really running things through him and getting the ball in his hands. If there's anything that David Blau took over from
10:14Detroit, maybe it's a little bit of the Aman Ross St. Brown type stuff. And even if it's a little bit mixed in with what
10:20we've seen from McLaren, you could be talking about a careerhigh in targets for him this year. he's really locked in, especially when we look at the
10:28competition that he has at the wide receiver 2 position in Washington where we're sort of like kind of like sifting through and trying to make narratives
10:37for guys like Antonio Williams who could be pretty good. Had some positive reports coming out as well. Uh, but you're talking about a third round
10:43rookie as probably his biggest target competition. So, I'm absolutely on Terry McLaren this year. I think you should be as well. I think his ADP should actually
10:53move up a little bit. And it's funny to me, we talk about BCJ being a posttype sleeper. Last year it was in FFPC main
11:00events on Underdog and in NFC, all these people were building Jaden Daniels, Terry McLaren correlation. That was like the thing to do. There was so many Jaden
11:10Daniels, Terry McLaren teams that were blown up in all three formats and on certainly on ESPN and Sleeper and everywhere else you play fantasy
11:19football as well. But this year that correlation play is cheap and it's you can get access to the number one pass
11:25catcher and a quarterback with spike weak ability pretty cheap. So if you're playing best, how could you not have a little bit of Terry McLaren mixed in
11:32with Jaden Daniels? Other Washington commanders were getting positivity out of. How about Rashad White? And I compared Rashad White. I said he could
11:39be this year's version of Kenneth Gainwell with a much bigger uh touchdown ceiling. And when we look at Rashad White, it's been a player that I think
11:48the fantasy community never really embraced. Certainly, we saw it when there was like the Bucky Irving uh takeover where Bucky Irving, people were
11:57just so excited for Bucky Irving to take that job. And Bucky Irving was electric over the second half of his rookie
12:03season. And to the detriment of Rashad White, he certainly beat up Rashad White when it came to the dynasty value, the
12:09reddraft value, all that stuff. And last year, we saw it. But when you look at Rashad White from a bird's eye view,
12:16Rashad White had has had four seasons with at least 50 catches in his NFL career. And two out of the last three
12:24years, he's had nine touchdowns. So, he's an efficient runner around the goal line. And he's a very good pass catcher.
12:31And he's also a very good pass blocker.
12:34The biggest competition that he has in the Washington backfield is Jaka Kroski Merritt who uh counting stats last year, JCM delivered for us. If we drafted JCM
12:43in the 18th round of best balls like we were telling you to do last year and we were taking him in the fourth, fifth
12:48round of rookie drafts, you got value out of JCM. But Rashad White has the most is the most seasoned veteran on
12:55this in this Washington backfield. And I think you're going to see it this year.
12:59We talk about the secondary pass catchers. I would be very surprised if Rashad White doesn't deliver a 50 catch season. And uh shout out to Zayn,
13:09another great follow for you on X. Make sure you're following me on X. Make sure you're following Ryan Heath, but also uh
13:14follow follow uh Zayn. Uh Zayn is dropping great stuff over here every day kind of reporting on this stuff. And he
13:21says there was a report in ESPN. You could read this article over at ESPN saying that the commanders added Rashad White at to play a role that was similar
13:29to Austin Eckler. Now different different coordinators obviously, but Eckler was delivering that year. And if if he simply puts up Austin Eckler
13:37numbers, then Rashad White's going to deliver at his cost. But I think there's more room to run. People have compared him to this year's Javvante Williams. I
13:45don't know if I'm going to go to that extreme. I certainly don't think the volume that will be there. I think
13:49Kenneth Gainwell is a better comparison where Rashad White will deliver with receiving touch uh re receptions and also Rashad White I think can be a guy
14:00who falls in the end zone a couple times. So really a smash value at his current ADP. you can get him in the
14:06ninth round right now uh over at FFPC main events and he's living somewhere around running back 37 running back 38 range in most formats. So Rashad White
14:16some real positivity uh the beat reporter is all over his pass catching role. Also some positivity when it comes to Chig Aonquo sounds like Chig uh is
14:25going to be what we think he's going to be a player with a chance to have career numbers. Now does that translate into a
14:31guy that's going to be in your starting lineup for fantasy? I'm not sure, but it's another player that I want to have
14:35access to. The one player to keep an eye on with Washington that could sort of throw everything for a loop is Stfan Diggs. Diggs is from the
14:45DMV. Uh Diggs went to Good Council High School. Uh that's in Montgomery County.
14:49Uh and if you are from that area, you know that the Washington Commanders are are playing in PG County. So like you go
14:56Good Council High School to Landover where the Washington Commanders play.
15:00That's a really short drive. This would be a true homecoming. Both of the Diggs brothers have been associated with the Commanders. I think if Stfan Diggs ends
15:07up being on Washington, he sort of nukes the narrative for a guy like Chig to deliver in a huge way. Uh, and really,
15:14really hurts Antonio Williams outlook.
15:17But until that happens, keep clicking that button. But Terry McLaren, Rashad White, Jaden Daniel Stacks, go and get some for sure. Keeping the conversation
15:27going. So many guys we could talk about.
15:28But the next next guy we're going to talk about is Quinshan Judkins. And Quinshan Judkins, the the vibes are immaculate. We were worried about
15:36Quinshan Judkins missing time uh and Quinchan Judkins being slow out the gate. We sort of have had like a slow drip of positive news with Quinchan
15:45Judkins that's become like a drum beat and become a signal for us where Judkins now uh this is a player that I think can
15:53very much deliver. He's being drafted sort of as a low-end RB2. And I think a lot of that is the negativity
16:01surrounding the Cleveland Browns offense. And I get it. It's really hard to embrace an offense with a quarterback competition that involves Deshun Watson.
16:08But when you look at Todd Monkin, this has been a guy that's consistently got results for fantasy football. Judkins looks explosive. He looks elusive. Uh,
16:17and he's completely participating in everything. Mandatory mini camp, OTAAS.
16:23There's no slow playing this guy. And when we look at Judkins, I mean, he had several weeks last year that were
16:28incredibly impressive. I know the yards per carry were very low. 3.6 yards per carry is something that we will need to
16:35see improve if he's going to deliver, even at his cost. But in 14 games played, he managed seven touchdowns. Uh only 26 receptions, but 827 uh yards. So
16:46he had 230 rush attempts last year in 14 games to go along with 26 receptions. That's 256
16:55touches in 14 games. So Judkins, I think they view as a true Bellcow workhorse.
17:01Can Cleveland be a little bit better offensively and give Judkins a platform where he can fall in the end zone? Maybe
17:08a little bit more than expectation? And then you also talk about, shout out to the chat here, uh, drastic offensive line overhaul in Cleveland. Absolutely.
17:18Cleveland attacked the offensive line throughout free agency and then in the NFL draft as well. Like, they went all in on fixing their offensive line. That
17:28was a huge priority of theirs. And I think people are way more interested in talking about the quarterbacks than talking about how good this offensive
17:36line can be. This could be one of the most improved offensive lines in football this year. Spencer Fano, uh, this was really, I mean, this is a a
17:45team where this is a team where they really needed to add offensive linemen and they did it in a major way. And when
17:53we talk about we when we talk about the players that they were able to add, they had Spencer Fano, uh, arguably the best
18:00offensive lineman in this draft class, and then a multitude of free agent linemen as well. There's going to be a number of new starters there and if that
18:08offensive line clicks in a major way, I think Judkins could deliver. But Judkins is not the only Cleveland Brown that's sort of turning heads at camp. We've
18:17been allin on KC Conpsion throughout Dynasty season and KC had some plays yesterday where he was really flashing for sure, but it's been Denzel Boston
18:28that's been the guy with better early vibes. And this is not necessarily something that's a negative to Casey Conpsion, but Denzel Boston is making
18:37play after play after play. And there's beat reporters in Cleveland who are talking about Denzel Boston being the leading receiver on the team this year,
18:47uh, and being clearly the wide receiver one in this offense. So, Denzel Boston, we've seen this before in the NFL draft
18:55where the the first player selected at the same position gets outscored by the second player. Now, I'm not saying that this is the way it's going to go and
19:03Casey Conpsion cannot deliver this year.
19:06I actually think they're both very strong clicks right now. Get Casey Conpsion at wide receiver 48, Denzel Boston wide receiver 65, and that number
19:15has risen like 15 spots. Denzel is one of the biggest risers in terms of ADP at the wide receiver position basically
19:23because of vibes from OTAAS. And now with this mandatory mini camp, I expect that his ADP and KC's are going to
19:29converge. We see Cleveland Spark on X saying that I'd put David Denzel Boston in bubble wrap until week one. That's the wide receiver one in this offense. I
19:39know ESPN showing a bunch of huge downfield uh plays. I mean, Denzel Boston is an absolute unit. He's 6'4, 212, great wingspan. Uh it's a player
19:50that's not a speed demon by any by any metric, but he moves well enough. And the statistics he put together at
19:56Washington were just fantastic. Um really had back-to-back years where he was scoring in a major way. Uh he had 20 touchdowns over the last two seasons for
20:08Washington. So, like I I think Denzel Boston right now, if you missed out of him on Dynasty rookie drafts, it might
20:14be time to sort of kick the tires on seeing about picking some up. Um, Denzel Boston in baseball is almost an
20:21automatic click. And then in reddraft, it's time to start mixing some in. Uh, really, really interesting stuff coming out of Cleveland. And then when we look
20:31at Cleveland, we're like, Cleveland got it right last year with a number of positions on both sides of the ball.
20:39There's a chance that they just are drafting extremely well. We saw him last year hit. We would all call Harold Fannon Jr. a huge success where they
20:47drafted him in the third round. We'd say that Quinn Sean Judkins was a big success where they drafted him. Multiple defensive players look like longtime
20:55assets. So why can't they do it again this year with Casey Conpsion and Denzel Boston becoming the top two wide receivers in this offense year in year
21:05out? Then you look at how this offense is shaping up heading into 2027 if they figure out the quarterback position.
21:12There are multiple quarterbacks in this 2027 draft class where if you attach them to an offense with Denzel Boston, Casey Conpsion, Quinn Sean Judkins,
21:22Dylan Samson behind Judkins and then Harold Fannon Jr. at tight end. The Browns could be like a blowup team in 2027. Uh fading fading Jerry Judy right
21:34now for sure. And I wouldn't be shocked if Jerry Judy is not on the roster when we get to August September. I know that
21:41they've said some positive things about Jerry Judy, but to me, this is the youth movement at the wide receiver position.
21:47Last year, we saw I mean, hey, last year we saw David Andoku get nuked by Harold Fannon Jr., and I know David Andoku was
21:55dealing with injuries, but they embraced youth at the tight end position last year. Why not embrace these two wide receivers uh this year? And also some
22:03positivity coming out out with Isaiah Bond as well. Not worth throwing up here. I think Bond is a little bit more
22:09of a stylistic guy than a guy that's going to make a big impact for us in fantasy. But Isaiah Bond has a ton of
22:15juice in terms of the speed element he brings to the field. So, you could be looking at 2027 with a bunch of guys
22:20entering their third and second year in the league. That could be an ideal outcome for some of these quarterbacks we like uh in this 2027 class. So,
22:29really, really uh interesting stuff out of Cleveland, but a ton of positivity with Denzel Boston and Quinnshot and Judkins. Also, my guy Casey Conpsion had
22:38a disgusting catch. I think it was Mary K. Kabitt, who's a really good follow for Brown stuff. She posted it. They
22:45called an offensive pass interference.
22:47No, it's not an offensive pass interference. It was Casey Conpsion going up and highointing it, looking like an absolute beast, looking
22:53explosive. So, keeping it going. We talked about Cleveland. We talked about Jacksonville. Let's talk about Minnesota and let's talk about the vibes with
23:02Demand Claybornne. So, I think a lot of you kind of expected me to talk about Kyler Murray and what's going on there
23:08in Minnesota. I think Minnesota is kind of cut and dry here. I think it's going to be Kyler Murray at quarterback. We
23:13have Justin Jefferson. We have Jordan Addison. We sort of know what they are.
23:16Bounceback candidates this year. Jawan Jennings, a wide receiver three for them. Uh, sort of in the Jaylen Naylor role, which we know had some positivity
23:25last year. And then you've got TJ Hawinson, who's regressed, but he's still a veteran presence at tight end.
23:31They're easy to figure out. running back is the place where we can find an edge.
23:35And we saw Aaron Jones with some really high praise for Deont Claybourne. This was Alec Lewis on X saying that Aaron
23:43Jones compared Deont Claybornne's burst to uh a little bit to Jir Gibbs, which is insane to say, but Claybourne has a
23:52lot of speed. You talk about Deont Claybornne, he fell to the sixth round for Minnesota to for Minnesota, but was a prolific player at Wake Forest. only
24:015'10", only 188 lbs. So, he's one of these small BMI guys, but he's got a ton of juice. I had Matt Waldman on Dynasty
24:09Life. You can find my Dynasty podcast, Dynasty Life, anywhere you get your podcast. You can also find it on Fantasy Points Dynasty YouTube. We're almost at
24:173,000 subs over there. But you've got Deont Claybourne sort of landing perfectly where Jordan Mason, we sort of know what he is and Aaron Jones has been
24:26terrific for us in fantasy, but uh nearing the very end of one of the older running backs in football this year
24:32besides Derrick Henry that's going to see meaningful touches at the beginning of the year. So let Deont Claybourne, he's got a chance here. And I compared
24:42the situation, and people took this as like a negative, but I compared the situation to rookie year Katon Mitchell.
24:49And if anybody remembers Katon Mitchell in Baltimore, his rookie year, it looked like he was going to be one of the
24:55waiverwire ads of the year and then he got banged up. So it was like the smaller back, tons of speed, got an
25:01opportunity for sort of some highv value touches and ran with it. Minnesota, I think, is going to be a plus offense
25:07this year. Uh, and I love that one. But then I put that out on X and I had Sigman Bloom who is one of the goats in
25:14fantasy football said he reminds him of who? He said Dvontto Freeman and I was like Sig like that seems like over the
25:22top but Sigman Bloom compared him to Dvontto Freeman and like anybody who knows fantasy Dvont Freeman had a RB1 overall season back in the day for
25:31Atlanta. uh really solid fantasy football presence for many years, including that sort of out of nowhere RB1 overall season. I know Matt Waldman
25:41came on Dynasty Life and was all over Claybornne as well. So, there's a Clayborn hive. There's also an article that came out recently in the Athletic
25:49specifically about Deont Clayborn and his roots and his his outlook here. So, I think there's like some internal optimism that they drafted a really
25:58really good one in Deont Claybourne. And I think when you look at the backfield, there's a chance that Claybourne ends up
26:05being a really strong waiverwire ad at some point this year. I mean, the pathway is one of these two guys misses
26:13time or one of these two guys struggles a little bit. And Jordan Mason very effective last year analytically as a runner. Aaron Jones obviously we don't
26:21need to tell you about Aaron Jones.
26:22You're listening to this show really educated viewers here um on both the podcast side and the YouTube side. But I mean, some of these backs who are older
26:30old as Aaron Jones can fall to nothing.
26:32All it takes is one knock. So, I'm looking at at uh Deont Claybourne as a player that we want to start mixing in.
26:38You get him in like round 17 on underdog. I think best baseball is the best place to get access to him. But,
26:43there's no reason you can't take him in like the 18th round of some of these early reddraft leagues. And if it
26:49doesn't work out, you just cut him. But the vibes are very good with Deont Clayborn. and he's the kind of guy that
26:54I think is going to have like those big flashy plays that end up on social media and sort of open up people's eyes to the
27:01explosiveness he brings to the table.
27:03Then you talk about Claybourne like he had 230 rush attempts in 2024. Uh and and last year he had 180 nearly at Wake
27:13Forest. Focal point of their offense. Uh he he had let me look at the touchdowns here. I double check this one. um 23 touchdowns
27:23over the last two years, including a 13 touchdown season in 2024. I mean, that's big time um in that level of college
27:29football. So, like Deont Clayborn, let's tuck that name away. Make sure you have some access to him in dynasty, mix in
27:35some in baseball, and if you're in early reddraft leagues, draft them, set them on your bench, and if it doesn't work
27:42out, you just cut them. Preseason waiverwire runs are always really beneficial to you. So add these kind of guys before the ADP picks up steam. We
27:51talked about sort of an unknown in Deont Claybornne. So let's talk about some guys that are very very wellknown. Let's talk about Drake May and let's talk
27:59about AJ Brown. And is this the stack that you're going to need in fantasy football? I think I'm open-minded to it.
28:06And it's funny to me like Drake May last year was one of the best picks you could have possibly make in fantasy
28:15football. certainly was the league winner at the quarterback position based on his ADP cost, but there's like no enthusiasm with Drake May right now. I
28:24know he's quarterback five overall, but it feels like people are not talking about the ceiling outcome for Drake May.
28:32Drake May yesterday in in the red zone periods was 20 of 23. So, he's flawless and accurate as he always is. and he had
28:42three touchdown passes among his 23 attempts. AJ Brown, Raandre Stevenson, and Hunter Henry. And Hunter Henry had a really good day as well. We could have
28:51talked about him. Some positivity with Hunter Henry out there, but one of the touchdown passes was to AJ Brown on a
28:58back shoulder fade. Uh AJ Brown absolutely looking the part out there.
29:02The the vibes are are real. Josh McDaniels compared him to Rob Groonowski. We've seen Devonte Adams and
29:11Randy Moss w in very older years leading the NFL in touchdown catches attached to Josh McDaniels. Randy Moss had the 23
29:20touchdown catch season. Devonte Adams had the 14 touchdown catch season. I think I'm going to repeat that stat about a million times. But AJ Brown has
29:28the pathway to leading the NFL in touchdown catches this year. I really believe that. We've seen the ADP steam up a little bit. Drake May also was
29:38working with Romeo Dubbs and Romeo Dobs and and AJ Brown, the two of them getting like extra work with Drake May
29:46after practice. They're they're really committed to this thing and I think the vibes are fantastic. Drake May also talked about uh the comfort level he has
29:55with having bigger wide receivers like AJ Brown. Something last year where Stfan Diggs averaged 12 and a half points per game. Diggs came in and
30:04really gave you a a positive based on where you had to draft him at 31 and a half years old. But if Stefan Diggs can
30:11average 12 and a half points per game with Drake May, why can't AJ Brown go out there and average 17 points per
30:17game? The pathway is there for AJ Brown to deliver in a major way even at the end of round two price tag. But I'm all
30:23in on this one. But I think really the discussion should be why is there not more enthusiasm with Drake May? Drake
30:31May last year had 30 plus passing touchdowns. Drake May had, I believe it was uh 450 plus rushing yards. I don't
30:39have it in front of me, but also ran for a number of touchdowns. Drake May has been prolific back-to-back years in
30:45terms of running the football. Two seasons with 400 plus rushing yards and one was a very limited sample size his rookie year. And then last year, of
30:54course, he had the most explosive plays of any quarterback in football. Passes over 20 yards. He led the league in those. And what has New England done
31:03since? New England has added an alpha wide receiver one and AJ Brown. They've added Romeo Dubs, who is like became sort of a villain in fantasy football
31:13because he'd always sort of block a pathway from a Green Bay Packers wide receiver that we wanted to embrace. But the Patriots paid him a lot of money.
31:20And I think in a wide receiver 2 role, he's going to be a huge improvement over what uh Drake May had to work with last
31:26year. They still have guys like Kyle Williams and Deario Douglas who stylistically uh have familiarity with May and are just sort of know their role
31:37and Williams brings that speed element to the table and of course will be in year two. Raandre Stevenson and Trayvon Henderson. And then they add Eli Raridan
31:45at tight end who's uber athletic getting uh positive reports out of camp. So you go from sort of like an Austin Hooper
31:53combining with Hunter Henry to Eli Raridan combining with Hunter Henry in 12 personnel. That's pretty scary stuff.
32:00So for me, Drake May inside of round seven might end up being a huge edge pick. And I and and also a great a great
32:08comment in the chat here from Jags for Life 85. They have a harder schedule this year with help which helps. If you
32:15look at how pure New England ran last year in terms of wins and losses and in terms of big dominant wins where they
32:23really didn't have to lean on Drake May as much as they needed to in the second half of games, you could see New England
32:29regressing to being a little bit closer to 500 this year, maybe a lot bit closer to 500 this year. and New England
32:36getting in more shootout type environments. So my question to everybody in the chat is why is there not enough? Why is there a lack of
32:42enthusiasm right now on with Drake May?
32:46He's going off the board as the QB5 on underdog. So people are drafting him sort of correctly, but I don't hear
32:52anybody talking about Drake May as a potential league winner this year. And it's funny when a guy does what he did
32:57at 22 years old, you would expect there to be collective enthusiasm and just people pounding the table on this guy.
33:04He opened up the season as the QB5 on QB, excuse me, QB2 on underdog behind Josh Allen. He fell all the way down to
33:12QB7 and is now back up to QB5. So, people think he's going to be a mid-level QB1. They're all like kind of
33:20positive about him, but I haven't heard a single analyst look at him as the quarterback you need to draft this year.
33:27There is a like, yeah, shout out to Rubio. QB5 is is not lacking, but it's not where we necessarily think he would
33:34have been. And I'll pose this to guys like Rubio in the chat. If you have this much improvement with your weapons after
33:41putting up those numbers as a 22year-old and you have rushing upside and you think that the team is going to regress
33:49and the game flows are going to be better, then why is there not much of an argument out there that Drake May can be
33:55the QB1 overall? So, that's sort of where I'm at with with Drake May, but Drake May, AJ Brown, the early vibes are
34:02fantastic. Good stuff with Hunter Henry as well. This is a team that I think will score a lot this year. Uh, and
34:08again, Josh McDaniels year two offensive line was very young last year. Jared Wilson is moving to his natural position of center. Uh, this is a team that I
34:18think will be a source of fantasy football value, but it begins and ends with Drake May and AJ Brown. And of
34:25course, we're going to talk about those running backs all off seasonason long.
34:28Keeping the conversation going, we talked about New England. Let's kick it over to New York. Gotta talk about Cam Scataboo. And Cam Scataboo has come up
34:36recently in our projections at Fantasy Points, and for a good reason. We anticipate he's going to play more games than we initially projected him for, and
34:45that's the difference. Scataboo last year averaged 16 and a half points per game. Uh was one of the best picks you
34:52could have made in any format. And like go go go back to the win over the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday Night
34:59Football where Scataboo had his like big national breakout performance. Uh Scataboo looked like a guy who could have been a league winner last year. Now
35:07you get Scataboo who there was a lot of apprehension kind of in the streets about where's Cam Scataboo at uh in
35:14terms of his health, but it looks he's looking great. We're putting up on the screen now if you're listening on the
35:19pod. There's a uh it's a it's a clip from from uh mandatory mini camp of Scataboo running routes looking explosive looking strong in his cuts and
35:29making a big reception downfield. I Scataboo has a chance also to be the focal point of this entire offense with Malik Neighbors set to miss an unknown
35:39amount of time. And we've talked about the improvements that New York has made on the offensive line with Francis Maui Noah, the 10th overall pick in the NFL
35:48draft. Then they also add Pat Ricard, a 300lb fullback who's an absolute mer uh that has opened up things in Baltimore
35:56for years for guy like guys like Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry. So you add Pat Pat Ricard, you add Francis Maui,
36:03Noah, the offensive line's going to be improved. You have the rushing element when it comes to Jackson Dart. You add Greg Roman and Harbaugh. Like the vibes
36:13are strong with with Cam Scaboo. And you're able to get Cam Scataboo at a reasonable price tag right about round RB20. I understand that there's fear
36:22that he could get reagravate with an injury, but I'm sort of believing in the volume approach with Scataboo. Scott Barrett sort of compared him to Chicago
36:31years David Montgomery in terms of the expectation of volume and the way that they're going to sort of use him. I
36:38understand there's a sort of a lot of apprehension when it comes to the Giants offense overall. We've seen Jackson Dart start to fade in terms of like where
36:47he's going in drafts. Uh and nobody wants any part of Malik Neighbors right now. He's fading obviously with the injury. But I think that they can be an
36:54efficient run game this year. I think between Dart and Scataboo, I think you could see a lot there. Scataboo also offers value as a pass catcher both
37:05opportunistically and in some design stuff. So, it's a very interesting one, but I think Cam Scataboo is a player you don't want to be without this year. If
37:14he stays healthy, he could deliver in a major major way. Uh, keeping it going.
37:19Talked about Cam Scaboo, talked about New York. Let's take it over to Chicago and let's talk about sort of an unknown
37:26player that is getting rave reviews and that's Xavian Thomas and Xavian Thomas.
37:32This is not a player that I want you to go out and draft, but I do think that this is a player that stylistically is
37:38going to help the Chicago Bears in a major way. you're talking about 428 speed and versatility that they're going to move him around the formation and
37:48really put pressure on secondaries with his ability to get behind them. Uh you had some really really positive uh quotes coming out of Chicago camp from
37:58both Ben Johnson and Beat reporters. Uh Xavian Thomas, I'll read it. It's Clay Harbor. Xavian Thomas moves like he's in he's in fast forward. And then Ben
38:08Johnson said, "He tends to make a play every day. If we harness all his energy and make sure that we can trust him and
38:14he's going to align where he needs to and run the route the way we need him, we really could use him and he could be
38:21a big weapon for us this year." And Xavon Thomas brings 428 40 yard dash speed to the table when it comes to the
38:31the Chicago Bears offense. sort of like when you look at what they lost in DJ Moore and Oli Zakayas and then you look
38:38at how consolidated this target tree should be with Colston Loveland, Luther Burton and Roma Dunay and then touches to DeAndre Swift and Kyle Manungai.
38:49Xavon Thomas is not a guy we're going to put in our fantasy lineups, but I think he helps all these other guys get to
38:54where they need to be with the speed element that he offers and how he will could potentially open things up underneath, especially for Burden and
39:02especially for Lovelin. They've also talked about using Xavon Thomas in the backfield occasionally just to get that element there. So again, Zavon Thomas is
39:12not one that I think you need to draft for your team, but I think Xavon Thomas, if you're in a deep deep dynasty format,
39:20you can add a little bit of exposure because it seems like a guy that Ben Johnson likes and you cannot teach this
39:27sort of speed. And also the the price tag for Xavon Thomas is free. Nobody's giving him any credit. I think it's more
39:34of a stylistic element that he brings to the table. I think this is a player that can help Caleb Williams get to that
39:40magic number that Bears fans have been searching for forever, the 4,000 passing yards. And I think Caleb Williams has the chance to finish as a top three
39:49scorer at the quarterback position this year. I'm really into the Chicago Bears.
39:54I think a lot of fantasy managers are.
39:56Ben Johnson has shown an ability to improve offenses year in year out and I think he'll continue to do so this year
40:03in Chicago. Uh we'll keep it going.
40:06We'll talk about another rookie. Let's talk about Chris Brazzle. Chris Brazzle is turning heads in Chicago. Uh Brazle was the third round pick. And Chris
40:16Brazzle was a player that we thought could have been drafted earlier. There were some like late reports in the NFL draft about like attitude concerns,
40:25things like that. I don't think Carolina really cared at all. Uh and Chris Brazzle, it's not like he had any off
40:31the- field stuff at two lane or at Tennessee. So it just felt like, you know, you get these rumors in in within
40:38NFL circles right near the NFL draft and we pay attention to them. You never know where they sort of start with, but
40:44Brazle has elite size speed combination.
40:47437 40-yard dash to go with a 6'4 198 pound frame. and the positivity you're getting with Chris Brazzle in terms of
40:56the beat reporters in terms of Dave Canales and Bryce Young all really talking about what he's going to bring to the table. We saw Dave Canales say
41:06that Chris Brazzle has been taking reps at X. He's made some big play. He's made some plays over the last couple of
41:12weeks. We're really excited about where we're headed with his development. Then we saw Bryce Young sort of coming out and and just talking about the
41:20positivity with Chris Brazzle. Uh there's some great quotes going out where where Bryce Young was sort of elusive in his praise. He said, "You
41:29would have thought he'd been in a pro style system throughout his whole life.
41:32I've been super impressed with the professionalism, the ability to learn stuff, the ability for everything to translate." And what Bryce Young is
41:39referring to is sort of the stigma that Tennessee players have brought to the NFL where it's an offense that doesn't correlate to the NFL. And there really
41:48has been a track record of these Tennessee Volunteer players failing in major ways. Uh Dylan Samson sort of the it's the the juryy's not fully out
41:56there, but you've seen guys like Jaylen Hyatt really really failed to deliver.
42:01Certainly Jaylen Wright, the enthusiasm we had as a dynasty community, uh, he hasn't delivered there either, but Chris Brazzle was also really good at two lane
42:09and Chris Brazzle was at two-lane on some really good teams under Willie Fritz. Willie Frit Fritz left two lane.
42:16Chris Brazzle uh, transfers to Tennessee and Chris Brazzle was terrific in the SEC last year. Uh Chris Brazzle last year 62 catches 1,7 receiving yards,
42:28nine touchdown grabs, looks the part and it sounds like he's got a chance to be on the field in three wide receiver
42:35sets. I fully expect him to overtake Xavier Legette. I know that might be a little spicy for some, but Xavier Legette, I mean, it's not really. the
42:42fantasy community is not really embracing Legette, but when you look at a third-year player who was a first round pick, uh it feels a little bit
42:50like can the third round rookie year take kind of take over for him? I think he does. And can Chris Brazzle put
42:56pressure on Jaylen Coker, who's dealt with some knocks this off season? Jaylen Coker, it's kind of collectively assumed he'll be the number two target in
43:04Carolina. Can car can Chris Brazzle make it an interesting uh conversation? I think athletically Brazil is has some special special traits. Um, and I think
43:15could he help open things up with this offense? It's probably still Jaylen Coker. This isn't like a negative Jaylen Coker take, but I think we can all agree
43:23that Carolina got great value out of Tedoa McMillan who looks like he's going to be a wide receiver one in this league
43:29for quite some time. Got great value out of Jaylen Coker as an undrafted free agent. We'll give him the mulligan on
43:35the Xavier Legette pick. Uh, but it looks like they drafted another one in Chris Brazzle. So, we're going to keep an eye on Brazle throughout the rest of
43:43the offseason. Going to the hype train with Quinton Johnston yet again. Uh, Quinton Johnston, we've had some really positive speak when it comes to Mike
43:54McDaniel sort of hyping up QJ and the community doesn't really want to hear it where QJ's like wide receiver 50 in
44:02FFPC. He's like wide receiver 40some on underdog. Nobody cares about QJ right now. I think everyone's sort of collectively in on Lad Makanki, but I
44:13think QJ's a really fun click and he's a player that I want to have a lot of exposure to. What if I told you that
44:19Quinton Johnston's still only 24 years old? Like it's one of these like Mandela effect guys where if you ask like even
44:25guys you know that know fantasy football, even guys who maybe followed college football and you're like how old is Quentyn Johnston? I think you get a
44:33lot of answers that he's like 26, 27 years old. He's still only 24 years old.
44:37He's had eight touchdowns in back-to-back seasons. Um, and he's gone over 700 receiving yards in back-to-back seasons. You you had uh Mike McDaniel
44:47saying, "Your drive phase right now is going to f the league up. Um, he's hyping this guy." And we heard Mike
44:53McDaniel with the out of nowhere athletic comparisons to uh Andre Johnson and Julio Jones when it came to QJ. So QJ, we're just getting like positive
45:04positive like trickles coming out and people want to sort of like ignore them.
45:09He's a player where for every positive thing Mike McDaniel says, you'll see like three more uh people on X saying to
45:17go add more Trey Harris. And I think a lot of people are really on the Trey Harris bandwagon. Trey Harris, I think
45:23the team also really likes. I think they like his blocking ability. But when you look at fast athletic players thriving in a Mike McDaniel scheme and the fact
45:32that Quinton Johnston has put up spike weeks when it comes to playing alongside Justin Herbert for multiple seasons now for me QJ's just like a really really
45:43easy click to make right now. Um, and he's a player that if you want to embrace this Mike McDaniel offense and
45:50you want exposure to it, especially in baseball leagues, but you don't want to pay that price tag for Omarian Hampton at like the one-two turn or Lad Mani
45:59where he's being steamed up to, then draft Justin Herbert, mix in some QJ. I think there's a chance he delivers in a
46:05major way this year. Um, and hey, what's the pathway for QJ? It's still probably touchdowns, but could we see him go
46:12north of 900 receiving yards as well this year in sort of a turned up offense? The number two target in this
46:19offense is sort of undecided at this point, but the driver's seat is probably QJ. He has the most pedigree of any of
46:26these guys based on what he's done the last two years and simply go look at the spike weeks. Look at the week-by-eek
46:31numbers he puts up. QJ has put up spike weeks in back-to-back years and now the community wants to fade him once again.
46:38He's 24 years old. I think he's pretty good at football at this point. I think a lot of the people sort of made their
46:45minds up about him when he had a bust rookie season. But there's a reason that QJ was selected in as the 21st pick in
46:54the 2023 NFL draft. And I think the Chargers know what they have in him. And I think Mike McDaniel might be more
46:59enthusiastic about QJ than a lot of people in this chat right now. Keeping it going. We talked about QJ. Let's finish up with some Seattle backfield
47:08takes. And I've been really positive when it comes to Jerian Price in Dynasty. I've been positive with Jadarian Price when it comes to reddraft
47:15and baseball. And I'm not fading Jadarian Price, but it certainly wasn't great news for Jaden Price with all of the positivity that we're seeing with
47:25Zack Charbanet. Zack Charbanet, uh, there was some doom and gloom reports that the guy was going to miss potentially the season. Now he's off to
47:33the side getting work in at mandatory mini camp in June. So Zack Charbanet, the Seattle coaching staff has continually praised his toughness where
47:45you're seeing like quotes about Zack Charbanet and you say, "Why did Zack Charbanet sort of cut in so much to my
47:50Kenneth Walker shares last year?" I mean, Zack Charbet was also an early second round pick and Zack Charbanet had delivered with double-digit touchdowns,
47:59but Zack Charbanet, you saw Greg Bell talk about it where a Zack Charbanet surprise, they weren't really expecting this. You had beat reporters who were
48:08even a little bit surprised about the fasttrack timeline. And you look at Zack Charbanet and you say like you, if you're watching on the on the YouTube
48:16stream, he's not exactly running sprints out here, but this doesn't look like a guy who they're putting on complete ice.
48:21He's in sweats doing some karaoke type drills on the sideline. Uh I'm a little bit more optimistic about clicking the button on Zack Charbanet, certainly in
48:31some reddraft and baseball leagues. Uh and you get another quote from uh from Corbin Corbin Smith, another beat reporter for the Seahawks, saying that
48:40uh basically getting medical opinions and Zack Charbanet looks to be on track for early October was what some people are saying. Uh there's also some other
48:48beat reporters sort of saying that Charbet could beat the timeline where maybe we were expecting like week 10.
48:55Maybe this could end up being like week eight. And then Zayn also talked about it where Charbanet that the team has
49:01plans for and I think that they have a plan to incorporate Zack Charbanet if it's the middle of the season. They also
49:08have a plan to incorporate him if there's any setbacks in the end of the season. Then you talk about sort of the
49:13pecking order right now where the coaching staff seems to like George Helani mixing in with Jagarian Price.
49:22Emanuel Wilson, who I think a lot of people in fantasy were very enthusiastic about after he was like this handcuff uh
49:29to Josh Jacobs in Green Bay last year.
49:31Sounds like Wilson is the number three running back there. Um it looks to me like it's Jaren Price. The fact that
49:39it's George Helani out there is a positive for Jadarian Price. And some people might say, "What do you mean by that where it's George Helani running
49:47with the ones?" I mean, Jerian Price is a rookie. It's some veterans difference to George Helani. But George Helani was an undrafted free agent. He's 25 years
49:56old and has done really nothing as a pro. Last year, he had 22 rush attempts total. Brings value to the table in
50:04terms of pass blocking. They trusted him to do that last year. Will he be mixed in for some snaps? Sure. But the fact
50:10that Emanuel Wilson is running at number three, I think that was the biggest threat to Jiren Price. So, I will remain
50:17on Jadarian Price as a guy who can get off to a fast start, but the start might be capped if Zack Sharpet injury uh
50:25optimism is true and we see him progressing in a major way. I think really a lot of the takeaways is are in
50:33terms of injuries, guys are progressing through injuries, treatments and surgeries are getting way more advanced.
50:40We've seen it at the NBA level with several guys like Jason Tatum and now we're starting to see it more so in the
50:46NFL level where I think if this was a few years ago, there would be no chance you'd see Cam Scatteraboo on the field
50:52in June. there'd be no chance you'd hear talk about guys like Zack Charbanet and George KD being fast-tracked. Injuries used to take a little more time to
51:01recover. I think that's something that we need to roll with as a signal in fantasy football, especially if you're an early drafter reddraft in baseball.
51:09Big shout out to Dan Williamson in the chat. Dan Williamson is now hosting the Dominator. I'm going to be joining Dan
51:16on his show over on the Player Profiler YouTube uh network a little bit later today. So, make sure you go check that
51:22one out. Dan's going to do a great job with that show. Dan and I are also drafting an FFPC main event team. Uh
51:28we're inside of round 10, so at some point we are going to be reviewing our FFP uh C main event. It's a slow draft,
51:35but the team uh has some really fun picks, including, you guessed it, Coloulston Lovelin in round two. We're going to be back at it tomorrow. Make
51:42sure you're sticking with us here at Fantasy Points YouTube. If you're not a subscriber yet, go and hit that sub subscribe button. We are so close to
51:5025,000 subs. I think we might hit it today. So, it would be cool if you were the 25th 25th,000th uh sign up. That would be a cool thing.
51:58I think you get really great karma with all of your fantasy teams for life if you hit that subscribe button and
52:03probably bad karma if you're not already subscribed. We'll see you tomorrow.
52:16That's him. That's the OG.
