0:00What is going on everyone? We are back.
0:03Week three is in the books, which means it is time to talk about waiver claims.
0:09Before we do get to that, I am going to rip off the band-aid real quick. I am not Nick. If you have checked in on
0:15these waiver videos in the past, you know that I've been around, but it's just me today. No friends, no enemies, just winning the waiverwire ahead of
0:23week four. Setting up our teams to get a win next week and make it to the playoffs and win a championship. That's
0:30what we're here to do today. Talk ball, help you win your league. Let's get right into it. So, we're going to get
0:36going today by going position by position, talking about all of the interesting or viable pickups that you might have on your waiver wire. There
0:45are obviously some big names that we are going to be talking about here today.
0:49Kenyan Sadique highlighting the tight end position. All the running back injuries that we dealt with, Devon Achan, Travis Achan, and Bree Hall are
0:57all the big ones. So, we'll get to those, but we're going to start at the quarterback position. In my opinion, the
1:03biggest one is Sam Darnold. He has a pretty big game in his return from the glute injury that sidelined him for all
1:12of week one virtually. And then week two comes against the Washington Commanders 29.66 fantasy points as you see here depending on your league scoring
1:21settings. That might be a little different. The one thing that popped out to me for Sam Darnold and what his value
1:28might look like going forward is the fact that he had 45 pass attempts. That is obviously not sustainable. We know that the Seahawks are a team that wants
1:37to win with their defense. They are a run first offense. Perhaps we see that philosophy changing. Jaren Price has had his struggles with the fumbles. Emanuel
1:47Wilson and George Hani, they've popped here and there, been viable waiverwire pickups, but generally speaking, they have not been particularly successful.
1:55So perhaps we see this team become a little bit more pass heavy than we saw last year. But obviously 45 pass
2:03attempts is not something we can expect to see from Sam Darnold very often. That was just the second time in his entire
2:10Seahawks career dating back to last year obviously that he has cracked 40 pass attempts in a single game and those 45
2:17attempts were a careerhigh since he moved to Seattle. So not going to see that very often. That obviously allows him to put together a pretty nice game.
2:26You see 379 passing yards and four passing touchdowns. So even with the passing volume starting to decline, I really do think that Sam Darnold is a
2:36strong pickup if he's out there in your league. You see he's 47% rostered here.
2:40Still, I think he's a strong pickup because we know he can be so incredibly efficient simply because of the fact that he has Jackson Smith and Jigba by
2:48his side. Jackson Smith and Jigba has been so wildly efficient in his own right, just posting ridiculous numbers above four yards per route run and he
2:56has been an absolute menace in the red zone. So with Jackson Smith and Jigba leading the way and his ability to just
3:04turn red zone opportunities into passing touchdowns, I'm really bullish about Sam Darnold. I think he is a matchupbased QB1 moving forward in single quarterback
3:14leagues. And if you're in super flex leagues out there, obviously want to have him on your roster. The other quarterbacks here, I think the other
3:22trendy one this week will be Gino Smith.
3:25That is one of the ones that I am excited about as a potential streaming option moving forward, especially ahead of a matchup against the Chicago Bears.
3:35So last week I was telling people to start Gino Smith. It was such a cut and dry situation where he could put up
3:42ridiculous numbers against the just horrific Detroit Lions defense. We see that play out. He goes for 321 yards and three scores. It arguably could have
3:51been even a little bit better if I'm not mistaken. That fumble that you see over here came on the final drive of the game
3:57where the Jets were rolling looking to get this game close, potentially push it to overtime. So, could have been a little stronger, but that was such a big
4:05spot for Gino Smith, and he undoubtedly delivered next week against the Bears on the road. I do think that he is a viable
4:12streaming option once again for teams that are in a tough spot at quarterback.
4:16Maybe you drafted Justin Herbert, maybe it was Jackson Dart or Jaden Daniels.
4:21You're dealing with injuries. I think you can get to Gino Smith this week. I know that they kind of shut down the
4:27Philadelphia Eagles offense last week.
4:29Jaylen Herz has a very okay performance, largely driven by that rushing touchdown that he had to close out the first half,
4:35but we've seen that this defense can be attackable. I'm kind of handwaving the week 2 performance against the Minnesota Vikings. They were playing in basically
4:44a literal monsoon, so I am not looking too heavily into that one. But dating back to week one, Bryce Young lights up
4:51the Bears defense. The Panthers go for almost 40 points. So, generally speaking, I'm viewing the Bears at the moment as a plus matchup for opposing
5:01quarterbacks and opposing offenses in general. And we also saw last night on Monday Night Football that the Bears, even without Caleb Williams, this
5:11offense can be rolling. They can be functional with Case Keenum under center tossing the ball to Luther Bird and Khalif Raymond, Coloulston Lovelin,
5:18DeAndre Swift can get going in every any given week. So, this could be a spot where the Bears offense pushes the Jets
5:25offense as well, forces Gino Smith to drop back a ton, rack up the volume that he needs to get there in fantasy
5:32football. So, viewing Gino Smith as a streaming quarterback, if you're in a good spot, you're obviously not making that consideration. The other one who is
5:41popping up in single quarterback leagues at a minimum, not necessarily superflex, it is Deshawn Watson. I mean, I have to give him his flowers. After years of
5:51looking like an entirely incompetent quarterback, someone who shouldn't even be in the league anymore. He has really turned things around. I mean, you just
5:59look at the Browns, they are shockingly two- one. And the fantasy production has been there. You see 19 points in week
6:06two. Eclipses 20 points in week three against the Panthers. I'm still not necessarily willing to buy it. I still
6:16have some level of hesitancy because first and foremost, you just see the passing production here. He's averaging less than 250 yards per game. He hasn't
6:25even hit 250 yards. His touchdown rate is sitting just above 6%. That's nothing crazy, but knowing what we've gotten out of Deshawn Watson, knowing what we've
6:35gotten out of these this Browns offense in years past, I'm expecting that to come down. I'm not expecting him to have
6:41multiple passing touchdowns week in and week out. And then also the the rushing production. Perhaps I'm wrong here, but I feel like Deshawn Watson, given what
6:52we've seen over the last few years, he's not someone who we can be banking on for three and a half, four and a half points
7:00from rushing production alone each and every week. We'll see how that plays out. But there's no doubt that these numbers as a rusher have been impacting
7:08what he's done from a fantasy perspective to this point. But I'm still left relatively underwhelmed by the passing numbers and I don't expect that
7:17sixish percent touchdown rate to be especially sticky. So I'm not viewing him as like a priority waiver claim in single quarterback leagues. Again, in
7:28superflex you you can tell yourself the story that you should be starting him, but for now for most leagues, most situations, I'm probably just leaving
7:36him on the waiver wire. Then we do have some quick hitting superflex thoughts to get to. Marcus Mariota in relief of
7:44Jaden Daniels. He shows out against the Seahawks. He leads the Commanders to a shocking win. Again, it's largely driven by lo a lofty touchdown rate. He throws
7:54three touchdowns on just 31% of attempts. So that touchdown rate is just below 10%. That is not going to be sustainable. And the also the simple
8:04fact that Jaden Daniels is expected to be back sooner rather than later after the elbow injury that he suffered in week two. The reporting was that this is
8:12a week- toeek situation. He'll be back sooner rather than later. And then Dan Quinn comes out and says this week that
8:18he should be practicing in some capacity ahead of week four. I don't think that he'll take the field for week four, but
8:25that just goes to show that the timeline for Marcus Mariota is very limited. So, if you're in real dire straits, really
8:33need a starter in a superflex league, you could go to Mariota against what should be a favorable matchup against the Indianapolis Colts this week. Still,
8:42given the fact that you're probably only going to get another start or two, I mean, if Daniels reagravates the elbow injury like we saw last year, that's
8:50another story. But for now, I'd be operating under the assumption that it's really just a spot start situation for Marcus Mariota. So, worth a pickup in
8:59superflex leagues for quarterback needy teams, but not someone that I'd be heavily targeting. The other big one here is Case Keenum. He takes over for
9:08Caleb Williams. Williams is expected to be something like a four to six week injury with a grade two hamstring strain. So, you're getting more starts
9:16out of Case Keenum. And there's no way to describe it other than he looks rock solid against the Philadelphia Eagles on
9:24Monday Night Football last night. You're not going to get the rushing touchdown that we got last week every single week.
9:29I would not be surprised whatsoever if that's his only one of the season. That obviously inflates what he did from a
9:36fantasy production perspective. But he looked like just watching the game, he had full command of the offense. He knew what he was doing out there. The passing
9:44numbers are nothing to be entirely fired up about, but it was a positive outcome.
9:49There's no way around that. So again, superflex consideration only. The matchup against the Jets has been tough.
9:57I was critical of the Jets defense coming into the year, but they have looked better than I expected. They obviously get kind of steamrololled
10:05against the Detroit Lions last week, but we all know that the Lions are capable of steamrolling literally any defense in the league. So, I wouldn't be looking
10:12that into that too heavily with the Bears with Case Keenum at the helm. I would not be surprised whatsoever if we
10:20see Keenum regress a bit from what we saw last week. and the Bears offense takes a bit of a step back with him
10:28under center. Still, given the fact that you're going to get a handful of starts out of him, he looks good. He exceeds
10:34expectations. I think he's worth a look in superflex leagues, but again, it's not someone that I would be aggressively pursuing whatsoever. All right, moving
10:42over to the running back position here.
10:45This is where we will have most of the action on the waiverwire this week. At the top of the list here, the buzziest
10:52name, no doubt about it, is Ali Gordon.
10:56Devon Achan. He will be out for the year after suffering a torn ACL. Absolutely brutal. He is one of the truly special
11:04players in the NFL at the moment. And seeing him go down, seeing him suffering that injury, it sucks. But Ali Gordon,
11:11he is the one who picks up in this game in relief of Devon Han. At the end of the day, he logs an 83.5% snap rate. He
11:20runs a route on 68.2% of the drop backs and he ultimately handles 20 of the 24 backfield opportunities. He takes 17
11:28carries and garners three targets. That usage is very encouraging. I mean, anyone who's playing upwards of 80% of the snaps, seeing 20 touches in a game,
11:39that is someone who is deserving of being on fantasy rosters. But this spot, it's one that I think deserves a lot of
11:48context because I think people are going to get out over their skis on Ali Gordon. I just I want nothing to do with
11:56the Miami Dolphins offense. Man, this is a total total disaster. Just a garbage pile of an offense. I want nothing to do
12:05with it. So, just first off talking about the quality of this offense from a statistical perspective. They rank 26th in yards per game, 31st in points per
12:15game. This is an offense that has not scored more than 13 points in a single game this year. That should tell you
12:20just about everything you need to know.
12:22But they rank 19th in yards per play, 25th in EPA per play. Total dumpster fire of an offense man. And it shows up
12:30with just a numbers. Achan is like an allp procaliber running back. If he was in a better situation on a better team,
12:38I wholeheartedly believe that Devon Achan would have received all pro votes last year. But Achan couldn't even escape this situation. He failed to
12:47eclipse 13 PPR points in his two healthy games to this point. So, this is not an offense that we want to invest in,
12:54particularly when the player is a replacement level type of caliber type of player, and that is Ali Gordon. And the other situation here is that the
13:04other notable backup in this backfield was not active for week three. So that inflated Ali Gordon's usage numbers.
13:13There is no doubt about it. Jaylen Wright, he was inactive for this game.
13:17He's been dealing with a stinger as well as a foot issue. It remains to be seen whether or not he'll be good to go by
13:23week four. But the way I'm viewing this, the way I'm playing this is the most likely outcome is that this is going to
13:30be a committee between Ali Gordon and Shaylen Wright. Jeff Hafley has gone on the record this week saying that they will both quote unquote play their roles
13:39moving forward. So I don't think Ali Gordon is a stone cold lock to be a bellcow, a stone cold lock to seize this
13:47backfield. I really think it's going to be a split situation. And I also think that Jaylen Wright could very reasonably become the 1A after he becomes healthy.
13:56So this is just not a spot to be burning a number one waiver claim. Not the spot to be dumping your fat. They both of
14:04these guys deserve to be rostered. We're not really going to get into right. I think he deserves a pickup in deeper
14:10leagues, a 12 team league with a deep bench or a league with more than 12 managers. Both of them deserve to be
14:16rostered, but I'm not going buck wild on a committee backfield in the Miami Dolphins offense. It's just not a worthwhile pickup. I understand that
14:26you're going to get basically a full season out of these guys, but when it's all said and done, I think these guys
14:32ultimately emerge as roster cloggers as opposed to someone that you're excited to start week in and week out. So, I'm probably going to be putting in low-end
14:43claims, making small bids on them because again, I think they deserve to be rostered, but I will not be aggressively pursuing the Miami Dolphins
14:51backfield this week. All right, moving along here to Brilan Allen. He is the other big time pickup on the waiver wire
14:59at the running back position this week.
15:01Bree Hall goes down with a quad injury, a thigh injury in the fourth quarter on Monday. Aaron Glenn was being a little
15:09bit cy about his status, saying they don't have an update and they won't give us one until Wednesday. It really looked
15:15like we were about to be dealing with a Jonah Coleman situation where we were filing waiver claims and we had no idea
15:21what the situation was. But the NFL insiders, Sheffer and Rapor, they they throw us a layup. They tell us that Reese Hall is considered weak to week.
15:30So, I'm expecting him to miss somewhere between two and four weeks. Two to three seems like the most likely outcome. But
15:36that positions Brilan Allen to become the featured back in the New York Jets offense for the next couple of weeks.
15:44Brilan Allen in the wake of the Bree Hall injury, he plays every single snap for the Jets to close out the game. That
15:50was 17 plays. I don't think that's going to be the situation. It would be a real surprise if we see Brilan Allen log a
15:57100% snap rate in relief of Bree Hall in the next couple of weeks. I expect Isaiah Davis to mix in in passing
16:05situations here and there, but he is going to be the featured back is Brilan Allen and that makes him a priority
16:10pickup because as soon as Reese Hall is is ruled out, which we are expecting, Brilan Allen is going to be viewed as a
16:19weekly RB2 given the workload that we can expect out of him. And the other factor here just in terms of projecting
16:26expectations for his role in his usage without Bree Hall in the mix, it's really encouraging that we have seen him used in a passcatching role to this
16:36point in the season because you see him listed here at 235 pounds. Just thinking about the player, you kind of think of
16:42him as this bruising big body back, but he has been utilized in pass catching situations. He has a route rate of 31.9%
16:50and he has played 65.1% of third down snaps to this point in the season. Some of that does come last week after Bree
16:58Hall goes out, but still the Jets think that Brilen Allen can play a well-rounded role. He's not going to be just some two down grinder. Again, I
17:07expect Isaiah Davis to come in in relief in some of those passing situations, but Brilland Allen, he can play something that resembles a three down everyown
17:16role. And then you couple that with the fact that the Jets offense has looked functional through this point in the season. I mean, that's not something
17:24that we've kind of grown to know, something that we expect out of the New York Jets, but to this point, they
17:28ranked 17th in points per game, 20th in yards per play, and 10th in EPA per play. And some of that is bolstered by
17:35the fact that they were rolling against the Lions last week. But again, I'm not viewing the Chicago Bears, who the Jets
17:42play next week. Brilland Allen will be the starter in that game. I'm not viewing the Chicago Bears as a particularly tough matchup. So, I expect
17:50the Jets offense to be able to move the ball, find themselves in scoring situations. So, that obviously all bodess well for Brillin Allen. I would
17:58view him as the top waiverwire pickup at the running back position this week. If you find yourself in a situation where
18:06you desperately need an RB2, you need a couple of spot starts at the running back position, I would be aggressively pursuing Brilland Allen in that
18:14situation. Given that team context, I would be willing to burn the number one waiver claim to get two or three games
18:20out of Brillan Allen. Be willing to dump a bunch of fab on him. I view him as a higher priority ahead of the Dolphins
18:28running backs. If your team is at a spot where you don't really need running back production, Allen wouldn't hit your lineup. You can be a little bit more
18:36cautious, not use the number one waiver claim, not spend a bunch of fab on him.
18:41But for most teams, most situations, particularly ones where you are in desperate need of running back help, Allen is the number one pickup this
18:49week. There's no doubt about it. All right, the third running back situation to monitor is the New Orleans Saints.
18:55Alvin Chimera. I'm not really going to go too deep into the weeds with him because he you see here he is 55%
19:03rostered given the news of the Travis Achan injury. He is expected to miss some time. It remains to be seen how
19:10long that will be. But given that news, Alvin Chimera should be rostered in just about every league. He probably should have been rostered at this point in 12
19:18team leagues and now he should be rostered in most 10 team leagues. He is going to most likely function as the 1A.
19:25But the player that I do want to talk about is Kendre Miller. He is just 4% rostered in sleeper leagues. He is
19:33probably the player that you are going to be looking at on the waiver wire in most leagues because again Alva Chimera
19:40already rostered in 55% of the leagues.
19:42So Kre Miller I think he is someone to look at in particularly deep leagues.
19:48Again, 12 team leagues with deep benches, leagues with ma more managers than 12. I expect this to be a split back field in New Orleans for as long as
20:00Travis at is sideline, which again could be a couple of weeks because at this point in Alvin Chimera's career, I just
20:08don't think that he can and I don't think that the Saints will thrust him into a bellcow role. That's just not
20:16anything that he's capable of handling at this point and it's not in the best interest of the offense. He has been
20:21inefficient as a rusher for several years now. He was a liability in the passing game last year. He was terrible in pass protection. He wasn't efficient
20:32out of the backfield. He wasn't even highly utilized as a pass catcher. So, I don't really want to to dunk on Alba
20:38Chimera, but that's just getting at the point that I'm not expecting him to be a Bellcow back in week four and beyond for
20:44however long Han's out on the sideline.
20:47That is not how they they played this backfield after Hchan left the game last week. After he was sidelined for the
20:54game, Chimera saw six carries while Kendra Miller saw four carries and two targets. So, we saw this as a split operation. I would expect Chimera to be
21:04the 1A while Miller's the 1B. There will be some sort of a role for Miller in my opinion. It would be a shock if he is a
21:12stone cold zero in the usage department in week four. So, I think he's worth a pickup. If you are just absolutely
21:20destroyed at running back, you could get him into the mix against the Atlanta Falcons defense there. Front seven has been absolutely eviscerated to to open
21:29the year. They've got James Pierce dealing with a suspension. They've got Jaylen Walker out with an injury. Those are guys on the edge, so it's not as big
21:36of a factor in the running game. Still, I think this is a spot where the Saints can effectively run the ball. We'll see.
21:43But I'm expecting some sort of a workload out of Kendra Miller. So, you're probably just stashing him and seeing how things play out. But, if
21:51you're in a really bad spot, I think that there are going to be worse options at the running back position this week.
21:56All right, we've got two more running backs to talk about here today. The first of which is Los Angeles Chargers running back Katon Mitchell. You see him
22:05pop a little bit here in terms of like the box score production and his fantasy output. 13.7 PPR points in week three.
22:13He gets there on the back of a touchdown. He punches it in uh on a receiving touchdown from the one yard
22:19line. I think that you're not looking at someone that you can get into your lineup, but given the increased role that we saw in week three and just
22:30knowing that this guy is an explosive playmaker, we've seen it dating back to his time in Baltimore. We've seen it in
22:37bits and pieces here in his first year with the Chargers. Given that skill set, the increasing role, I think he is worth
22:43a bench stash at a minimum. So talking about that role, he saw his strongest usage of the season. In week three, he
22:50played 35.9% of the snaps, handled 11 of the 31 backfield opportunities. That was eight carries and three targets. He posted a route rate of 36.8%.
23:00And then again, he does get an opportunity in an inside the five situation. He has that receiving touchdown from the one yard line. And
23:08then just watching the game, watching how the offense flows, it looks like that Mike McDaniel really wants to get Katon Mitchell involved in a somewhat
23:17meaningful way. You you think about how the Mike McDaniel offenses have succeeded. It's been on the back of speedy playmakers, running backs who fit
23:26well in his zone scheme. That is Katon Mitchell more so than Omar and Hampton.
23:31And you can push back because the Chargers offense has looked like a total disaster to open the season. I mean, well, we don't even need to get into
23:38that conversation, but it looks like that they really want to get Keith Mitchell involved. And if he continues to out route Omar Hampton, if he
23:47continues to get looks in goal to go situations, there could be something there. And if the offense starts to hit its stride because the entire thesis has
23:57been that Keith Mitchell might play a meaningful role in a high-powered offense, one of the most potent offenses in the league. We're starting to see him
24:05take on that somewhat meaningful role if the offense starts to hit its stride.
24:09And this is something that resembles what we had expected in the preseason. I think that there is a world where Katon
24:15Mitchell becomes a viable flex option because you're just banking on scoring opportunities, him being an explosive playmaker. This offense putting together
24:23sustained drives each and every time that they're out on the field. So there there could be something there. for the time being. I think he is a worthwhile
24:31pickup, but nothing really more than a bench stash. The final running back that I want to talk about here today is Las
24:39Vegas Raiders rookie Mike Washington Jr.
24:42He is just the handcuff that popped this week. I think Washington alongside guys like EMTT Johnson, Tank Bsby, Kalin Black, these are all of the priority
24:53high-end handcuffs that deserve to be rostered in just about every league with a reasonable level of bench depth. So 10 teamers, 12 teamers. I think that these
25:03high-end handcuffs deserve to be stashed away even though they don't have much standalone value. And that is very much the case for Mike Washington. So we'll
25:13be highlighting him here today. Again, I I think EMTT Johnson, Tank Diggsby, all those guys, they deserve to be rostered.
25:19Mike Washington, he pops in week three.
25:21He rips off a 36-yard touchdown run. And that is kind of the entire thesis with Mike Washington. He is an explosive
25:30playmaker. We see him run that ridiculous 40-yard dash at the combine.
25:33And we see him ripping off chunk runs, chunk plays throughout the preseason.
25:37That's why so many people were excited about him coming into the year. that along with the Ashton Genty injury.
25:44There isn't much of a standalone role here. He hasn't had more than seven opportunities in a single game to this point. But we can see how things might
25:53play out if Ashton Genty were to miss time. Mike Washington would soak up the vast majority of the rushing work in the
26:00Raiders offense. He doesn't have many much of passcatching juice, so you're not going to get that out of him, but still he has some pop and juice as a
26:07rusher. So, if Jenty misses time, big- time rushing workload for Mike Washington, and he seems to have the talent to be able to do something with
26:15it. And then also, the the Raiders offense, they've popped a little bit here through the first three weeks under Kirk Cousins. The team is 3 and 0, which
26:22is encouraging. But looking at under the hood at some of those offensive metrics, he ranks 19th in yards per game. The
26:29Raiders rank 19th in yards per game, ninth in points per game, and 22nd in yards per play. So, the offense, they
26:37have some juice to them. That obviously is huge for fantasy running backs. We want them to be putting together long drives, providing running backs with
26:45scoring opportunities. So, we've got a blend of talent and offense that's exceeding expectations, and someone who would take on a meaningful workload
26:53should the starter miss time. Just like some of those other guys that I was talking about earlier, that sort of profile, that sort of outlook makes Mike
27:00Washington someone who should be stashed on benches in the majority of leagues.
27:04His roster percentage is sitting at 39%.
27:07That deserves to be bumped up, especially after the run that we saw in week three and just the general performance from that matchup against
27:15the New Orleans Saints. Okay, the wide receiver situation is a lot less appealing than the running backs, but there are some spots here where we can
27:26make some claims, add some players. I mean, Tyreek Hill, what are we doing here, guys? I like he he ran some
27:32routes. He's being cryptic on Twitter.
27:34Again, I I don't get it. Why is he rostered in 24% of leagues? But people are free to do whatever the hell they
27:39want with their roster. But the big name here, in my opinion, is Keenan Allen. He is still doing it in the big two six
27:46guys. He draws nine targets, turns it into 18.3 fantasy points. That is because he finds the end zone. But looking at the Colts, I think the big
27:56takeaway here and from what we saw last week is that without Alec Pierce in the fold, this offense from a targets
28:04perspective has become incredibly condensed. And that is obviously very good for the pass catchers here. So Daniel Jones in week three, he dishes
28:13out 35 total targets. 30 of them go to the trio of Josh DS, Tyler Warren, and Keenan Allen. If these guys are
28:21condensing to that degree each and every week, which is now my expectation, there will be games where some of the ancillary guys pop up and Jonathan
28:29Taylor has four, five, six targets. That will happen from time to time, but this offense being so condensed is bullish for everyone involved. I feel like I
28:39don't really need to talk that in depth about Keenan Allen. We kind of all know what we're getting here. at the age of
28:4534 still he is able to be someone who can command a 20 to 25% target share in any given week. He is still a target
28:54earner at this age and that is going to provide him with a reasonable enough floor especially if the target competition is so limited. Everything is
29:03funneling through just a couple of guys.
29:06So on the back of that volume, you can get weeks here where he has a reasonable floor, a weeks where you're fine
29:12starting him in your flex spot in good matchups if your team is banged up. So I think that he is someone who should be
29:20picked up if you're in a tough spot at wide receiver or just your flex. You need someone with a startable type of
29:26floor. And in this new look Colts offense, I think Keenan Allen can be that kind of guy. not expecting six targets every week, but somewhere
29:34between six to seven in most weeks. That would not be surprising whatsoever.
29:39You're not getting much of a ceiling.
29:41The the only way for him to have a ceiling outcome is him hitting the end zone like we saw last week because he's
29:46not making plays downfield. There's not much yak ability left in his game. So, it's really just a volume play and then
29:53praying he gets into the end zone. But with how we saw this passing attack look last week, there could certainly be
30:00enough volume to where you're fine getting him into your flex spot. The other player who was kind of in a same
30:07situation as Keenan Allen. I kind of view him in a similar light is Malik Washington. Without Caleb Douglas in the lineup for the Miami Dolphins last week,
30:17it was no surprise to see Malik Washington featured as the number one option in this passing attack. He draws 10 targets on the week, good for a 7.8%
30:28target share. And you're seeing here that was his second game of the year in which he had more than eight targets.
30:34But I do think that there is a little bit more to be had with Malik Washington than Keenan Allen, at least from a role
30:42perspective. Because something that we've seen with Malik Washington. I was talking about this last week on the Waiverwire show that Washington is
30:51taking on a different role than we've been accustomed to in the past. He's been kind of like that screen merchant, that PPR scammer who's only getting
30:58looks within like five yards of the line of scrimmage. That's changing right in front of our eyes in 2026. He has a
31:0410-point yard AOT. He's garnered six deep targets through three games. So, those are targets that come at least 20 yards down the field. So, he's also
31:12getting manufactured looks in the offense. He has five design targets and three rush attempts on the year. So, that target volume, the fact that he's
31:22getting schemed looks gives him a reasonable floor. Again, there's not that much of a ceiling here just because of what we have seen from the quality of
31:31the offense, but I really do view him as sort of a roster band-aid. You like the usage, you like the volume that he's
31:39been seeing. So, there's enough of a floor there where you think you can get him into your lineups, but with the
31:44Dolphins scoring 12 points per game, there's only so much of a ceiling that he's going to be accessing. But the other wide receiver that I want to get
31:52to here is another Dolphins wide receiver because with Caleb Douglas out, we see Chris Bell in an expanded role for the very first time. He runs 64.3%
32:03of the routes. He earns seven targets, which translates to a 19.4% target share. And then just watching what he did in the game, you saw what
32:13made people so interested in Chris Bell from his prospect profile, it's the fact that at such a big size, he's 6'2, 228
32:22pounds, he can get on his horse and get after it after the catch. He has a short reception. He catches it within a
32:29handful of yards of the line of scrimmage. It was a quick inbreaker, but he gets after it and he turns it into a
32:3344 yard gain with plenty of yak. And then also you see kind of what he can do outside the numbers. It doesn't turn in
32:40anything, but he has two targets where he is open. There were touchdowns on the table, but he has near misses with Malik
32:47Willis. So altogether, just watching it.
32:49And also from a usage and production perspective, I think you can be pretty optimistic about what Chris Bell had to offer. I think he's nothing more than a
32:58stash at this point. We're just gonna want to get them onto rosters and deeper leagues and evaluate what things look like with Chris Bell ramping up when
33:06Caleb Douglas gets back into the mix and then Washington in the fold as well. So seeing if anyone can emerge. If it's
33:14Chris Bell, I think that there is some level of upside here because if he can be a consistent target earner and then
33:21pair it with the Yak and playmaking ability that we saw on display in week three, there could be some level of a
33:27week- toeek ceiling here. So, if I'm in need of upside at the wide receiver position, I would consider stashing Chris Bell. He would be one of the top
33:36waiverwire pickups at the wide receiver position this week. No doubt about it.
33:40All right, the final wide receiver that we have to talk about here today, we have to acknowledge Khif Raymond. We just have to do it. This guy refuses to
33:49go away. You see it up here. Experience 10. The year 10 breakout is upon us. For years, after being nothing more than a
33:58rotational receiver and a specialteamer, he is now really making an impact with the Chicago Bears. He leads the team in targets in week one. He follows that up
34:09with a five target performance in week two. And then he really flashes on Monday Night Football. He leads the team in receiving yards. You see he has seven
34:18targets, six receptions, 90 yards. that is highlighted by a 41yard touchdown scamper that is kind of just on busted coverage, but you have to acknowledge
34:28that it took place. Give Khif Raymond credit for that. So, at this point, I I'm still remaining skeptical that any of this is sticky. Is Khalif Raymond
34:37going to lead the team in yardage and fantasy scoring by season's end? I think that is a highly unlikely outcome, but
34:44still, he is playing his way into a meaningful role in this offense. He is not going away. We have not seen his
34:52usage, at least from a Rouse perspective, heavily fluctuate. So, this is an offense that we want to invest in.
34:58Even if I'm still skeptical of his role or just his general usage holding up, I don't think that we can ignore it for
35:06this much longer. This is when Caleb Williams is back going to be a high-end offense. And even we were talking about
35:12it earlier, Case Keenum shows that he can keep this train on the track. So, Khalif Raymond, I believe he deserves to
35:18be rostered in 12 team leagues with relatively deep benches. There's not that much excitement involved. I mean, if you think you're just looking at the
35:26production, 16.4 points, 21 points, maybe you can convince yourself that there is some level of excitement there.
35:31But, I'm not expecting that production to hold up. So, you can do with that information what you will. If you're in
35:37a good spot at wide receiver, I am not looking to invest in Khif Raymond. But if you're in a pretty bad way, I I would
35:43add him because at this point, we we've just got to acknowledge this guy. It's no longer fluky. It's no longer a flash
35:49in the pan. We'll see how the season plays out, but at a minimum, he deserves to be rostered. Moving over to the tight
35:55end position, there is definitely a lot more juice here than what we had at wide receiver. The poster boy of the position
36:02and perhaps the week as a whole is none other than Kenyan Sadique. I hope you listen to Nick and I. We were both
36:08talking about him in the off season. And Nick in specifically, he was talking about him ahead of last week. If you did
36:15not make heavy investments into your tight end room in the draft, Sadique was one of the premier bench stashes to make. He has an insane athletic profile.
36:25He tears it up at the combine and then he garners top 15 draft capital from the Jets in the draft. So, he has all the
36:32makings of a potential rookie breakout at the tight end position. And then we see that play out pretty clearly in a
36:38week three with Adnai Mitchell and Mason Taylor sidelined in a cupcake matchup against the Detroit Lions. Kenyan Sadi absolutely thrives. He ends the day with
36:48eight targets good for a 21.6% target share. He draws a target on 32% of his routes. He has seven receptions, 105
36:56yards, and a spectacular touchdown catch. So it was wheels up for Sadique in this one. He takes advantage of the opportunity. He puts his athletic traits
37:06on display and he generally shows just about everything that you want to see.
37:11The only like red flag, you might not even be able to call it a red flag, is that his route rate was just 56.8%.
37:18Nick did point this out on Twitter and if you were watching the game, you saw this as well. He appeared to get a
37:23little bit banged up after that touchdown in some other spots in this game. So, there was a chance that he was
37:29just held off for precautionary reasons in some spots. So that might not be something to look into too heavily that route rate. And then also just given the
37:37fact of how he played and the fact that they made heavy investments into him and the fact that he was dealing with a
37:45hernia issue throughout the off season.
37:48It sidelines him for a good stretch of training camp. So they were ramping this guy up. All those things considered I
37:52think we can expect his route rate to climb. I don't think I really need to say much more. You saw literally
37:58everything if you were interested in Kenyan Sadique. the athletic traits, the production, the the role, it was all there. So, if you don't have a set it
38:06and forget at tight end one, Sadi is quite clearly the number one pickup in this uh waiver run at the tight end
38:13position. And again, we were talking about a little bit earlier that the Jets offense looks pretty frisky, looks pretty good in this game, in this season
38:21to this point in general. So, that coupled with everything that we saw last week should have you pretty excited about Kenyan Sadi. I still kind of view
38:30him as a wait andsee option just waiting to see those routes come up because on those few routes he is not going to be
38:36able to draw seven eight targets and produce 105 yards very often. So maybe you can get to him in week two. He'll
38:44probably ranked as a fringe tight end one for me. So maybe you can get to him.
38:49But ideally this is kind of just a wait andsee situation. Next up we've got Tyler Higgby. I think he is very much a
38:56viable streamer in week four. He takes advantage of a Terren Ferguson injury.
39:01He was another player was TF Ferg who I as well as Nick and many others had pegged as a potential breakout
39:08candidate. He has that in week two. We see him explode in prime time against the New York Giants. But Terrence Ferguson goes down with an ankle injury.
39:17He's limited to just eight routes on Sunday night against the Broncos. In his absence, Tyler Higgby becomes the go-to passcatching tight end. He runs 71.7% of
39:27the routes, draws 11 targets and puts up 20.2 fantasy points as you're seeing here. So, that was really encouraging, but I do think that this situation
39:37requires a bit of context. Obviously, Puka is sidelined for this game if he's back on the field for week four and
39:45Shawn McVey seems to be optimistic about his availability. 11 targets for Tyler Higgby is a little bit of a pipe dream.
39:53And then the other factor here is that Kobby Parkinson, who has been involved in the passing game in the past, he was
39:59like really banged up coming into this game. He was truly listed as questionable. He's able to go and suit up, but he only plays 43.9% of the snaps
40:08despite the Ferguson injury. So those two factors, the Pukerua injury and Kobe Parkinson potentially playing a bigger role in Terren Ferguson's absence, I
40:19think that can give you some pause on Tyler Higgy's outlook, his value. But if Nua can't go, I think he is certainly a
40:27viable streaming option in week four.
40:29The final tight end that we'll be talking about is Darren Waller. He's still doing his thing at 34. Over the last two weeks, you have seen both
40:38facets of his game kind of pop up in week two. You see here, he has the two touchdowns. He has two inside the 20
40:45targets in that week. He hauls both of them in for two touchdowns. That's been known about Darren Waller at 66. He is a
40:52premier red zone weapon. So, you've got that going for him. And then in week three as well, he shows that he can get
40:59like legitimately involved in the flow of the offense. He draws eight targets, but much like the Tyler Higgby situation, it requires some context.
41:08Jaylen Coker is limited to just 17 routes in this game. He picks up a quad injury. So, the absence of Coker on the
41:15field no doubtedly influenced Waller's target volume to some degree. But if Coker misses week four, he's expected to be questionable for week four. If he's
41:24out, there is a safer floor for Waller.
41:28It's no longer just a bet on him hauling in a touchdown. I like to call it the touchdown lottery. no longer just that
41:33because there is a path to reasonable levels of volume for Darren Waller. I still remain skeptical of Waller's value from a seasonl long perspective because
41:43he's never cracked a 60% route rate so far this year and that's kind of the role we saw him playing in Miami last
41:50year. He's kind of just the situational player, a real red zone weapon. So, I don't know what the week- to-eek floor
41:56is going to look like moving forward with Coker back in the mix because just running that few routes, you're really just still banking on touchdowns. But,
42:04if Coker misses week four, there's enough of a floor in my opinion to get him into your lineup. So, he's more so
42:10of a streaming option as opposed to someone that I want to be holding and considering playing week in and week out
42:16because I feel like there are just better bets to make from a touchdown perspective, better offenses, tight ends who are going to run more routes than
42:24Darren Wallace. So, potential week four streamer, one to keep an eye on with the help of Jaylen Coker. So, depends on
42:31what we hear from Coker, but someone to be considering, no doubt about it. All right, to close things out here, we are
42:38going to talk about some drops. Just a quick rapid fire handful of players that might be on your bench. You spent
42:45meaningful draft capital on them. I heard some people clamoring for a drop section. So, we'll get through a few of them here. Obviously, Devon Achan,
42:53you're dropping him. He's done for the year unless you're in some Keeper League situation. Marshon Lloyd, this guy is entirely droppable. I thought he was
43:01droppable ahead of last week. I dropped him in a 10-man league that I am in. He is virtually droppable in every single
43:07league of regardless of size. Definitely 10 and 12 person leagues. The role is just not fantasy viable. He's playing less than 30% of the snaps in each of
43:17the last two weeks. And then on top of that, he has looked terrible individually. The Packers, they cannot run the ball whatsoever. I expect this
43:25to be just a really ugly three-headed monster moving forward in an offense that seems to be incapable of doing anything on the ground whatsoever. I
43:35would be done with Marshon Lloyd if I was holding on to him in a 12-man league. That's pretty disappointing in my opinion because I was excited about
43:43him. I thought that he was legitimately talented. His prospect profile featured a lot of exciting things, namely his ability to generate explosive plays. I
43:51thought he would seize this opportunity and become the go-to rusher in the absence of Josh Jacobs. That is obviously not how things panned out. So,
43:59even if you drafted late and you chased him up the board, got him in the seventh, eighth round, I think that
44:04you've got to cut bait. I talked about it on my own channel last week, I would prefer a high-end handcuff as opposed to
44:11Marshon Lloyd, someone like we were talking about earlier, Tank Bsby, EMTT Johnson, all those guys in that tier.
44:17Probably even Mike Washington who we were talking about earlier. So, I am cutting bait on Marshon Lloyd. Quinton Johnson here. Obviously, another one of
44:25the pretty big disappointments in the middle rounds of drafts, his failure.
44:31There are some things going on individually, but also it is largely driven by the failure of the Chargers offense. I mean, I'm not someone who's
44:40some Quinton Johnston stand. I understand that he has looked bad, but there's no doubt about it that the struggles of the offense in general are
44:47a big contributor to what we've seen out of Johnston from a targets perspective and just a fantasy production perspective. But in this sort of
44:55offense, one that is struggling to score, generate explosive plays, six targets, five targets, that's just not going to get it done on a week- toeek
45:03basis. And again, he has been individually struggling as well. in a 10 team league. He should have already been cut and I'm definitely considering it in
45:11a 12 team league. I'm personally still holding out a little bit of hope that the Chargers can get it figured out. Not
45:18sure if that's going to come relatively soon because you see the upcoming schedule, Seattle, Denver, Kansas City before they roll into their buy. Then
45:25they get Los Angeles, Houston, Baltimore. I don't know if we're going to get that anytime soon. I'm still leaving the light on a little bit for
45:31the Chargers, but given what we've seen to this point, given the upcoming schedule, there are some other wide receivers that I would rather have on my
45:38roster than Quinton Johnston. Moving along to some other incredibly different, disappointing wide receivers to this point. None other than Marvin Harrison. Singledigit target share on
45:50the year to this point. 6.8% of the targets, nine total targets for Marvin Harrison to this point. It's just not a
45:58fantasy viable role, not fantasy viable usage whatsoever. Again, it's really disappointing because obviously there were insane expectations for Marvin Harrison Jr. coming out of college. He
46:09does not live up to them whatsoever. He was drafted in the first round in a lot of leagues in his rookie year. It is the
46:15Trey McBride and Michael Wilson show in Arizona. They have been responsible for upwards of 50% of the team's targets to this point in this season. There will be
46:24weeks where Marvin Harrison Jr. pops.
46:26He'll have an explosive play. He'll haul in a touchdown. But considering he has taken such a significant back seat, the Cardinals ran 81 plays last week. Jacobe
46:38Brassette was dishing out plenty of targets and he can only get to five targets on the week. That is the final
46:45nail in the coffin for Marvin Harrison in my opinion. Just no sustainable role, no consistent usage. I am getting rid of
46:53him if he's on my team. I mean, you see it here. the wide receiver 94 on the year. There is nothing that can be done
47:00about Marvin Harrison Jr. in my opinion.
47:02So I I I'm just moving on going to the waiverwire looking for other options.
47:07Speaking of disappointing young receivers, we have to talk about Brian Thomas Jr. as well. Lot has been made on Twitter and online about the fact that
47:17from a snaps percentage, he and Josh Cameron, the rookie receiver, were playing a similar role in the last week's game. You see it here, 37% snap
47:27rate, and the routes weren't particularly good either. And then from a targets perspective, again, very, very ugly. I am more willing to hold on to
47:37Brian Thomas Jr. than the other guys that we were talking about earlier, Quinton Johnston and Marvin Harrison Jr.
47:44simply from the fact that through two weeks the role and the usage were pretty encouraging. I mean, you look at the
47:50week one, you see 35% snaps, three targets. It should be noted that he left the game with a shoulder issue. So, that
47:57impacted his volume and his snap rate, but through two games from a per route perspective, he was commanding reasonable volume. So, I was still
48:06interested there. I mean, you see him draw nine targets in week two. So, I'm leaving the light on that this is maybe
48:13a little bit of a blip what we saw in week three. So, I'm probably holding him in 12 team leagues. I think you can get
48:19rid of him in 10 team leaguers. I'm remaining a little bit optimistic in 12 team leagues with Brian Thomas Jr. See
48:26if he bounces back from a usage and his role against the Cincinnati Bengals, which can be an attackable defense. We saw Aaron Rogers pick him apart last
48:34week. So, I would still be holding him in 12T teamers, but in 10 teamers, I think everything that we've seen from a
48:40usage perspective is enough to move in another direction. All right, guys. That is going to do it for us here today.
48:47Everyone that you should be prioritizing on the week four waiverwire. Handful of guys that you can consider dropping as well. Hope you all enjoyed. But that
48:57will be it for us here this week. I'll be back next week for the week five waiverwire. I will see you all next
49:04time.
