Alvin Kamara

NegativeUsage16:10

Alvin Kamara's usage was down last week, potentially due to a back injury, but he is expected to remain the primary pass-catching back. The source suggests ignoring last week's performance against a tough Vikings defense.

Insight page

Audric Estime

NegativeDepth Chart11:57

The Browns signed Audric Estime from the Saints practice squad to provide running back depth following the placement of Raheem Sanders on IR. He is currently viewed as a depth option alongside Jaleel McLaughlin, a duo described by the source as unappealing.

Insight page

Braelon Allen

NegativeProjection13:42

Braelon Allen may see another big game, but faces a tough matchup against a stout Patriots interior defensive line, placing him in a 'feels good' but uncertain tier.

Insight page

Brian Thomas Jr.

PositiveUsage6:45

The source trusts his role and volume, noting he gets a ton of touches and should be started as an RB2 despite a tough matchup against the Texans.

Insight page

Bucky Irving

PositiveUsage18:38

Bucky Irving looked phenomenal against the Dallas Cowboys and is projected to receive 15-20 touches. He is considered more talented than most other options on the board and is a recommended start.

Insight page

Cam Akers

NegativeUsage15:14

Cam Akers is losing work to Najee Harris and faces competition from Tyrone Tracy Jr. after a near-costly fumble last week. While his total yardage projection is around 70, his reception line remains low at 1.5, making him a shaky flex option with less upside than players like Woody Marks or Emanuel Wilson.

Insight page

Carson Steele

NegativeDepth Chart12:25

Carson Steele was activated to the roster to provide depth at the running back position.

Insight page

Christian McCaffrey

PositiveProjection26:46

Christian McCaffrey is designated as a must-start running back for the week.

Insight page

Chuba Hubbard

PositiveUsage9:56

Chuba Hubbard is playing well and should be in lineups, with a projected workload of 17-20 touches. The matchup against Philadelphia is not considered overly scary, though there is uncertainty regarding the 1A role in the Panthers' backfield between Hubbard and Jonathan Brooks.

Insight page

D.J. Moore

PositiveInjury22:37

The source notes that the Bears offense is humming and expresses hope that DJ Moore returns to the lineup to bring the unit to full strength.

Insight page

D'Andre Swift

NegativeInjury8:59

D'Andre Swift is dealing with nagging injuries and is less than 100%, which is concerning for his fantasy outlook. His performance is also tied to the uncertainty of the Bears' quarterback situation, though he remains a high-floor player if he suits up.

Insight page

Dameon Pierce

PositiveUsage7:38

Dameon Pierce is stepping into an every-down role and is projected to play 65-75% of snaps against the Carolina defense. While not an elite option, he is a viable flex play given the high volume of work expected.

Insight page

Derrick Henry

PositiveProjection11:02

Derrick Henry is a must-start regardless of circumstances. His fantasy ceiling could be massive against the Browns if their starting defensive tackles, Mason Graham and Mike Hall, are unable to play.

Insight page

DeVonta Smith

NegativeInjury12:05

The team expects either Saquon Barkley or DeVonta Smith to return to the lineup for Week 6.

Insight page

Dylan Sampson

NegativeInjury12:14

Dylan Samson is opening his 21-day practice window, but he is unlikely to return to action for Week 6.

Insight page

Emanuel Wilson

PositiveUsage0:56

Emanuel Wilson is receiving heavy volume, averaging 20 touches per game, and remains a startable 'feel-good' play despite the source's low opinion of his talent and the expectation that his role will diminish once teammates return from injury. The source categorizes him as a 'dub flex' option, noting they feel better about his projected workload and upside compared to other low-end options.

Insight page

Jadarian Price

NegativeDepth Chart3:17

Jadarian Price is expected to compete for backfield work upon his return from injury.

Insight page

James Cook

PositiveProjection22:47

James Cook is a must-start running back who remains among the league leaders in rushing touchdowns despite Josh Allen's goal-line usage; he benefits from a high 53.5-point game total and favorable betting lines, including an anytime touchdown line of -180.

Insight page

Jayden Daniels

PositiveRole19:21

Jayden Daniels' return to the Commanders' lineup helped Brian Robinson Jr. have a productive game last week. While he filled in admirably for the Buccaneers, the source prefers Baker Mayfield under center for fantasy purposes.

Insight page

Jaylen Warren

PositiveBreakout17:36

Jaylen Warren has been lights out since Rico Dowdle's injury and is considered a featured player by Mike McCarthy. The source would start him over all other options in this tier and recommends riding him into the ground.

Insight page

Jeremiyah Love

NegativeUsage35:34

Jeremiah Love is a shaky flex play due to recent inefficiency (12 carries for 22 yards), a lack of pass-catching volume, and a clear injury issue.

Insight page

Jonathan Taylor

PositiveProjection32:20

Jonathan Taylor is a must-start for Week 6, despite the source expressing skepticism about the high point total in the Colts-Titans matchup.

Insight page

Jonathon Brooks

NegativeRole10:41

The source notes uncertainty regarding the 1A role in the Panthers' backfield between Chuba Hubbard and Jonathan Brooks.

Insight page

Justin Herbert

NegativeInjury24:18

Justin Herbert is expected to play despite likely dealing with a high ankle sprain; however, the Chargers' offensive line is in shambles due to the absence of Rashan Slater and uncertainty surrounding Joe Alt.

Insight page

Keaton Mitchell

NegativeUsage24:03

Keaton Mitchell is part of a three-way backfield split where he, Hampton, and Vidal each receive approximately 35% of the snaps.

Insight page

Kendre Miller

NegativeUsage16:10

Kendre Miller out-carried and out-touched Alvin Kamara last week and scored a goal-line touchdown, though he was not effective on the ground. The source expects his role to normalize rather than maintain last week's split.

Insight page

Kenneth Walker III

PositiveProjection23:48

Kenneth Walker is a must-start running back who is projected to have a massive game.

Insight page

MarShawn Lloyd

PositiveBreakout25:15

Marshawn Lloyd is a confident start, projected as the featured back in a two-man rotation with Pierre Strong while Josh Jacobs and Christopher Brooks are expected to be out. He carries a strong -165 anytime touchdown line and is preferred over Tony Pollard.

Insight page

Michael Pittman

NegativeInjury18:19

Michael Pittman Jr. is currently out with an injury, which forces the Pittsburgh passing game to rely more on running backs.

Insight page

Nico Collins

PositiveProjection8:56

The Houston offense has looked better since Nico Collins returned to the lineup.

Insight page

Raheim Sanders

NegativeInjury12:11

Raheem Sanders has been placed on IR, further thinning the Browns' running back depth.

Insight page

Rhamondre Stevenson

PositiveUsage13:10

Rhamondre Stevenson is a must-start due to a high-volume role, with Vegas projections of 90 total yards and 3.5 receptions.

Insight page

Rico Dowdle

NegativeInjury17:36

Rico Dowdle is dealing with a turf injury that caused him to miss time last week. He is considered a shaky flex option at best.

Insight page

RJ Harvey

NegativeUsage3:37

R.J. Harvey's lack of involvement in the passing game in Week 5 was an outlier; his route participation remained steady at 45%, suggesting fantasy managers should not overreact to the single-game dip. The source also uses him as a benchmark for comparing Dameon Pierce's fantasy value.

Insight page

Roman Wilson

NegativeInjury18:19

Roman Wilson is currently out with an injury.

Insight page

Roschon Johnson

NegativeSleeper9:42

While not an effective runner, Roschon Johnson maintains a high floor in terms of pass-catching and receptions. He is a speculative add in deep leagues to monitor in case D'Andre Swift's injury status worsens.

Insight page

Saquon Barkley

NegativeInjury12:05

The source is not confident that Saquon Barkley will return to the lineup for Week 6 and advises fantasy managers to have backup plans ready. While the team expects either Barkley or DeVonta Smith to return, there is no certainty regarding Barkley's availability.

Insight page

Tony Pollard

NegativeUsage26:42

Tony Pollard is in a 50/50 backfield split with Tajae Spears and is considered a shaky flex play for Week 6, with projections of 60 total yards and 10 receiving yards; the source also views him as a potential trade candidate and would start MarShawn Lloyd over him.

Insight page

Tyjae Spears

PositiveSleeper33:19

Tajae Spears is in a 50/50 backfield split with Tony Pollard and should be stashed on fantasy benches; he saw nine targets last week and benefits from a favorable matchup against a Colts defense that ranks last in EPA per run.

Insight page

Tyler Allgeier

NegativeUsage35:44

Tyler Allgeier is playing a high volume of snaps, but the source does not feel confident starting him.

Insight page

Tyrone Tracy

NegativeUsage15:21

Tyrone Tracy Jr. is getting involved in the Giants' backfield rotation, though his role remains uncertain following previous fumbling issues that landed him in the doghouse during the preseason.

Insight page

Woody Marks

PositiveRole7:28

With David Montgomery out, Woody Marks will operate as the bellcow, handling pass-catching and goal-line duties. Despite a tough matchup against Jacksonville, his volume makes him a viable flex start. The source also categorizes him as a 'dub flex' option, noting they feel better about his projected workload and upside compared to other low-end options.

Insight page

Zach Charbonnet

NegativeDepth Chart3:20

Zach Charbonnet is expected to compete for backfield work upon his return from injury.

0:00Good morning, friends and enemies, and welcome in to the week six running back preview show where we're going through every single game in the week six slate
0:09from a fantasy perspective, talking through every fantasy relevant running back and whether I think they are a start, a sit, a flexworthy option. We'll
0:17obviously be breaking down relevant injuries and snap counts and practice reports and all those kind of things in this video. We're six weeks in, y'all
0:26know the deal. Let us get moving. So important to note, we do have four teams on by. Cincinnati, so there will be no
0:32Chase Brown. There will be no Samaja Perine. Detroit, so there's no Jir Gibbs. For all y'all that have been getting free, four, five wins up to this
0:40point in the season. You got to figure it out another way. Miami and Minnesota, so no Ali Gordon and no Aaron Jones.
0:47First game up on the slate, we've got Seattle at Denver. They play on Thursday night. They are in Denver. This is a 40
0:52and a half point total. Not expecting a lot of offense out of these teams here.
0:56The Broncos are underdogs. The Seattle Seahawks have a 2 and a2 point favorite spread here. Emanuel Wilson has stepped in handedly. I mean, the Seattle
1:06Seahawks run game has been atrocious.
1:07George Lani is really bad. Emanuel Wilson is not much better, but he's getting all of the work in his backfield. And I want to take a look at
1:12the practice reports right now to see what we have on the secondary players here. Patrick Certan DNP on Monday and Tuesday. He is doubtful for it this
1:20game. It does look like they will be getting back Riley Moss though likely.
1:24He's limited in both practices. can probably shoot up that rib here. So, they'll get him back. Funga is a double DMP as well. So, the Broncos might be
1:30without multiple players in their secondary again. Maybe a little bit more of a passing attack for the Seattle Seahawks would be wise with JSN versus
1:38no Patrick Certan. Regardless, Emanuel Wilson continues to get fed 20 carries per game, 20 touches per game. Uh the Denver defense is not anywhere near what
1:47it's been the previous few years.
1:49Against the run here, you can see seventh most fantasy points allowed, fifth highest EPA per rush allowed.
1:54Emanuel Wilson, as bad as he probably is as a player, and he will have very little role once like Jadarian Price and
1:59or Zach Char are back. I still think you continue to roll him out as a feel-good player this week. Last week on the flip
2:06side, we had Shawn Payeyton basically take back over play calling duties.
2:10That's still kind of like to be determined how much of a handprint he had on the offense already and whether or not that went from like 50/50 to 100,
2:17whatever the case may be. The biggest noticeable change was that R.J. Harvey was like super non-involved in the passing game here. R.J. Harvey was
2:24catching like eight passes a game up to this point. It was a lot of the JK Dobbins show here. Uh, incredibly
2:29difficult match up against the Seattle Seahawks. As you can see, a lot of red across their running back statistics.
2:33The RJ Harvey one, I will say, is one that you should not overreact to. Uh, yes, he didn't get involved in the
2:40passing game. From weeks one through four, he was running 45% of the routes among the running backs. In week five, he ran 45% of the routes. So, the
2:48targets just simply did not go his way in this one. So, do not overreact. He had basically the same exact usage. He's
2:55not going to be an in between the tackles guy. So, yes, he does have to make his way through the passing game,
2:59but like it won't be what it was on Sunday over and over and over again.
3:04That being said, obviously the matchup is incredibly difficult here. So, with JK Dobbins, I think he's a shaky flex.
3:10Finally had like a good game, but you cannot trust him going forward. I think R.J. Harvey falls in there as well, and
3:15we've got to wait for the other uh backs to get healthy to talk about them going forward. Next up, we've got another
3:21London game for the Jacksonville Jaguars. 9:30 a.m. Eastern time. Houston is in London playing against Jacksonville, who will now be staying
3:28there for another week, obviously, because they played backto-back games there. So, I think they should be more comfortable. I think they should be
3:33better equipped and it won't be as sloppy on the offensive side of things for the Jaguars. So, I do have hope for
3:39them. This is a 42 point total. The Jags are three-point favorites against the Houston Texans who got their first win.
3:45Now, Demo Ryan did take over play calling duties for the Texans defensive side of the ball last week and they look
3:51great versus the Titans though was against the Titans. One injury note for the Jaguars, Antoine Harrison, their good right tackle is presumed to miss
4:00this game. So, they will be without some of their strength on the offensive line.
4:05That being said, I think Bashaw Tutons again looked really, really good. Gets a ton of touches. if uh Liam Cohen stops
4:10being so sloppy on the goal line, I think most of these games will end in having Bashaw Tuton get into the end
4:16zone. So, it is a very tough matchup. The Houston Texans defense is obviously super super good, not easy to run against, but I
4:23still trust the Jacksonville Jaguars offense. I still trust the play calling and I very much trust the role of Bashaw Tuton. So, he continues to be someone
4:30that you just need to have in your lineup as your RB2 and feel pretty good about it. Uh we don't want to start
4:35Chris Rodriguez, obviously. Now, on the flip side, we've got David Montgomery out for this one. He's going to be out at least this game. They do have their
4:42buy in a couple of weeks. So, I would assume David Montgomery probably misses the games leading up to that, which would mean Woody Marks ends up being the
4:48bellcow here. Now, couple things at play. Uh Woody Marks, he does look improved from last year. I don't want to say like, oh, the my eye test of looking
4:56at Woody Marks means now he's going to be an efficient runner because I just don't think that's really his game. But,
5:00he will very much operate as the bellcow here. Uh, I think Darian and Gumbbo played like one or two snaps last game.
5:07So, Woody Marks is like 55. It's clear that they trust him behind David Montgomery here. And I think Woody Marks going against the Jacksonville Jaguars
5:14defense, they're an extremely extremely difficult defense to run against. You know, no one gets yardage against them.
5:20But, I think Woody Marks will have enough volume that I'm not worried about it. So, he should be in your lineups
5:26this week as well. He's going to operate as the pass catcher. He's going to operate as the goal linebacker. So just
5:31by pure volume and the Houston offense has looked a bit better here, especially since Nico has gotten back. So I'm, you
5:37know, cautiously optimistic about Woody Marks. His role will be great. This is a really tough matchup. I still think he deserves to be in your flex spot at the
5:45worst. And then when they get a lighter matchup next week, it'll look even better. Moving to Carolina at the Philadelphia Eagles. First 1 PM slate
5:52here. We have a 40 and a half point total. The Panthers are 1 and a half point underdogs. They're playing in
5:57Philadelphia. Uh Chuba Harbor comes back. We have some injury news on the offensive line front. It looks like the Panthers will be getting back at least
6:05one of Oh, we don't practice reports for the Sunday games yet. At least one of, if not both, Damen Lewis, their interior
6:12guard, and uh Taylor Motton at tackle. I I would less expect Taylor Motton to be ready to go. I think they're both back
6:17at practice, but Motton's been out since January, so it probably takes him some time to ramp up. But I think they get
6:22back Damen Lewis in this one, which would be an upgrade to the offensive line. Chuba's already playing kind of out of his mind from a fantasy
6:28perspective. I think he has a similar role to all these guys to be honest with you. But the Philadelphia matchup is
6:32just not one that we're really scared of anymore. And the Panthers offense, which was one of our main concerns about like
6:37Chuba or Jonathan Brooks, whoever ends up being the 1A there, is like we don't have a lot of upside in this offense to
6:43begin with. They are coming off of the buy now, so they'll be fresh, they'll be healthy, and uh their offense has looked
6:48a lot better than we're giving credit for. So, you know, I do think in terms of the range of projections, he'll
6:54probably be right around Wilson to Woody Marks. All guys that you can project for somewhere between like 17 and 20 touches. These guys all have
7:01ridiculously tough matchups. I think the match up with the Eagles is uh, you know, a little bit easier, but I like
7:06the offensive prowess a bit for the Carolina Panthers here. So, Chuba, yeah, if you want to put him in the top of the
7:12field's good, the bottom of the must start, whatever. He's going to be in your lineups regardless. On the flip side, we are still dealing with a ton of
7:17injuries for Philadelphia. Very tough to figure out right now. They said they expect one of maybe Saquon Barkley or Devonte Smith to be back. I would
7:26definitely have backup plans if I have Saquon Barkley. I don't feel overly confident that he's going to be back this week. V is back. It's a good match
7:31up obviously and you know Saquon's going to be in your lineup. If he misses, we already have Tank Bsby out. We have Will
7:36Shipley now probably out multiple weeks.
7:38We have Damen Pierce kind of stepping in as the every downish back. I'm sure they will activate another running back.
7:45Carson Steel was activated. They'll probably pull up another back cuz you need to have three backs on your roster.
7:49I feel okay about Damen Pierce. I'm going to be honest with you. Like they're going to give them a ton of
7:53work. And while the Philadelphia offense hasn't looked great, they're not effective with the tush push. They are playing the Carolina defense. So, I
7:59think Dame Pierce will end up playing like 65 to 75% of the snaps. And you could do worse than that as a flex play.
8:06So, do I think he's a dub flex play? Am I like super excited to have him? No.
8:10But he definitely belongs in the category of the R.J. Harvey's JK Dobbins of the world based on the opposite effect of their matchups. Obviously,
8:16this is all coming down to whether or not Saquin plays. Next up, we've got the Chicago Bears at the Atlanta Falcons
8:22here. A 49 and a half point total. The Falcons are three-point underdogs despite being at home playing in the dome obviously, so really good
8:30environment, really good weather. Bean Robinson, a really good player going right into the mustart category. The other side is a little bit tough to
8:36figure out here because we have multiple things at play. We have Caleb Williams where, you know, a lot of the reports
8:42have been that they're optimistic he could return in week six. I don't think I'm fully buying that yet. If I had to
8:48lean one way or another, I would go 5149, but I don't think it's like the 8020 that they're making it out to be
8:53right now. So, I think there's a a chance that we get another week of Case Keenum and or Tyson Beijing, whoever
9:00they decide to throw out there, which is obviously not great for a guy like Swift. I mean, he'll be fine, but he's
9:05also dealing with his own kind of like nagging injuries. He did not play much in the second half of that game, whether
9:10that was like more score related or injury related. He came into the game a little bit banged up. So, I think that's
9:16something to keep an eye on. Uh the practice reports this week. I expect Swift to suit up, but he's clearly less
9:22than 100%. This is a pretty tough Atlanta run defense, though. I think they've overperformed what they actually are up to this point in the season, and
9:29you're starting to see their numbers kind of come back down to earth. Kungai is dealing with a week- toeek turftoe injury. So, he's someone where we're
9:35going to have to, you know, monitor practice reports on him. I uh would probably lean him being out, but you know, you never know. And then behind
9:42Swift, if Kungai doesn't play, you have Roshan Johnson, who every time he I mean, he's not a good runner at all, but
9:48every time he's on the field for the Bears, he seems to to see a very high floor in terms of like pass catching and
9:54receptions. So, you're definitely not playing him. But I will say like if you're in a very deep league and he's available on the wire, I don't think
10:00he's like the worst speculative ad just to kind of keep an eye on what's going on with DeAndre Swift, if he is a little
10:05bit more banged up than given credit for. But if DeAndre Swift plays, I mean, he's going into your lineup obviously very very high floor player. Other than
10:12that, yeah, there's no one else we want to get into our lineups. You know, people are going to go crazy about Brian
10:17Robinson the first couple weeks, but like again, he's he's nothing but a handcuff. People are just going to have recency bias based on whoever was like
10:22the most previous highly used handcuff.
10:24Whether it was Kalon Black in week one and then Brian Robinson this week, whatever, it's like enough. Next up, we got Baltimore at Cleveland. So, the
10:32Cleveland Browns are four and a half point underdogs at home. This is a 41 12 point total. We have some relative
10:39optimism about Lamar Jackson coming back to this game, but I am I'm a little skeptical about that. I wouldn't say I'm
10:46overly optimistic that we do see Lamar return for this one. I think the spread will probably be a lot higher. We
10:51probably won't see a ton of lines on the board until we get more news on Lamar Jackson, but he was fully DMPed last
10:58week. So, I I would project him being out, but again, you never say never.
11:02Derrick Henry's of course a must start regardless. I will say his like projections if you're like a DFS player or something will swing a little bit
11:09wildly depending on what happens for the Cleveland Browns defensive line. So last week I I was really really high on Brilon Allen having a big bounceback
11:18game because of the Browns being without both Mason Graham and Mike Hall, their two starting defensive tackles. If they don't have them for this game against
11:26the Ravens, they're going to be in hell against Derrick Henry. So Henry might have a massive game if those two guys
11:32are out. Mason Graham was weak toe. I'm not really sure about my call status, but that's one to really really keep an
11:36eye on if like the Derrick Henry sit start decision somehow matters for you depending on what your game type is. For
11:42the Browns, a little bit more of a tricky situation. Now they have Quinnshaw Dudkins who was obviously seen in a walking boot after the game. I told
11:50y'all to like kind of relax and not overly emphasize a walking boot. They say he's dayto-day and it's nothing crazy. So I think he has a real shot to
11:57suit up for week six and I know everyone was like kind of up in arms because they went out and signed Audrey Estime off of
12:04uh maybe the Saints practice squad. I forget whose practice squad he was on.
12:08They signed him and they were like, "Oh, there's concern for Quinnshaw Judkins."
12:11Incorrect. Raheem Sanders ended up getting placed on the IR. So, they don't have any depth at running back because Dylan Samson's been out this whole time.
12:18Although, they are opening his 21-day practice window. So, it seems Samson could be back. Probably not this week, but within the next, you know, two or
12:26three weeks, unless we see other major moves at the running back position for the Cleveland Browns, who they would turn to like Jal Mcofflin and Audrey
12:33Esme as a duo, which is disgusting coming out of your mouth. I I think there's a decent chance Quinton Junkin suits up for this game. Regardless,
12:41tough match up against the Ravens. Will not have a good game script for him. His floor is very, very low as we've seen.
12:46He's had like one good game. So, I would put Judkins as a shaky flex kind of regardless of what else is going on in
12:52the situation there for Cleveland.
12:54Moving on to the Jets versus the New England Patriots. So, we have a 43 and a half point total. They're playing in
13:00Foxboro. The Patriots are 7 and 12 point favorites here. Trayvon Henderson has a high ankle sprain. He's going to be out
13:07multiple weeks, which basically means Raandre Stevenson's a must start for me.
13:10Vegas has him at 90 total yards, minus 185 anytime touchdown, three and a half receptions. Even if you don't think he's
13:16good, the role is incredibly juicy here.
13:19So, Raandre goes right into the mustard category. Bruce Hall a little bit trickier. Um, I think his return to play time, I would have put the overunder at
13:27like three and a half weeks early on when he had the injury. I think that's probably still the projection here. I
13:32would say 50/50 for him to return this upcoming week, but I'm not overly optimistic about it. So, we might see uh
13:38another big game from Brilon Allen.
13:40Though, the Patriots interior defensive line against Milton Williams and Christian Bar is much much stout than a you know, a Mason Graham and Mike
13:49Hallless Cleveland Brown. So, I think he'll struggle a little bit more to find running room. So, I would actually put him his role I I guess you got to put
13:56him into the feels good category here.
13:58These guys interesting. Like I I don't know that I feel super good about any of them to be honest with you, but they all
14:03have extremely similar outlooks this week where you have Emanuel Wilson, Bashalt Tuton, Woody Marks, Brillin Allen against four of the better run
14:12defenses despite what some of the numbers say up to this point. They are like the bellcows in their backfield, but like we don't feel super optimistic
14:19about any of them in terms of like overwhelming talent or anything like that outside of like Tuton's talent is obviously a cut a cut above the rest of
14:26them, but he's arguably got the toughest matchup. So, I think if I'm putting Brayon Allen, you know, into these guys projections being similar, then I I
14:33guess I put him into the same tier. If Bree Hall plays, yeah, I I guess you can throw him into like the feels good
14:38category as well, although I don't feel super good about him to be honest with you. And then you're not playing Brillon
14:43Allen, of course. And behind Roandre Stevenson, I should also just note they had Cory Kleiner come in, but he lost a
14:48fumble. So, I I just think it's going to be Raandre taking 90% of the opportunities in that back field. Next up, we got the Saints at the New York
14:54Giants. Another very sloppy backfield to figure out. This is a 45 and a half point total. They're playing in New York. It looks like we might have normal
15:02weather for like the first time [ __ ] ever in New York on a Sunday. Uh, no rain here. Cool. Just 9 mph winds. All
15:09right. Cool, cool, cool, cool, cool, cool, cool. For the first time, we might get a weekend without [ __ ] rain here.
15:14The problem is what's going on in these back fields. Cam continues to lose work to Naji Harris. He had a very costly
15:21almost costly fumble at the end of the game last week and we saw Harbaugh kind of put Tyrone Tracy immediately into the
15:28uh doghouse during the preseason when he fumbled. So love the matchup. The Saints defense is pretty [ __ ] bad right now.
15:35I just I I it's hard to have a ton of optimism with Cam Scatabo and and and what his actual role is given they are
15:44allowing Naji Harris to touch the ball as much as he is and Tyrone Tracy getting involved here. So, I'm going to
15:50put Cam a touch below these guys.
15:53Although, it should be noted Vegas does have his total yards at 70, which is around the same tier uh as these guys.
15:59Unfortunately, his reception line still at like one and a half here, which is where we thought a lot of the upside
16:03would come from. So, you know, you'll have Cam there, but you're obviously not starting anyone else in the Giants backfield. The other side's a little bit
16:10more tricky. We have uh kind of like a changing of the guard there where Kendra Miller ended up out carrying and out
16:14touching Alvin Kamara heavily uh last week, but I'm probably willing to throw away most of what we saw for the Saints
16:21offense last week because they're playing against the Minnesota Vikings and that's just a defense that's impossible to do anything against.
16:26Kendra Miller wasn't effective on the ground, but he did get the goal line score and then Camaro was kind of like
16:29useless between him and CJ Donaldson. Do I think that's going to be the case going forward most of the time? Uh no, I
16:34don't. I think that's kind of what I expected when I picked Kendrick up two weeks ago and then it didn't really
16:40happen. Kamar is still going to be their main pass catching back. It's a good matchup against the New York Giants, but
16:45it's definitely difficult to sus out like what the actual split is going to be. Should also be noted that uh Kamara
16:50kind of came into the week on the injury report with a little bit of a back injury. So maybe that played into his
16:55role being downsized quite a bit. But regardless, I think both of these guys go into the shaky flex category at best.
17:01And of course, as always, if you guys want my actual, you know, rankings in terms of where these guys rank relative
17:07to each other within these tiers, etc., and, you know, the flex rankings for everybody, those will be available on the site for fantasy members, bdgeg.co.
17:18Next game up, we've got Pittsburgh at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. First yellow weather game of the slates. We are in Tampa Bay, so we're getting them Florida
17:26showers. A 40 and a half point total here. The practice report is going to matter a lot for this game because we
17:32have on the Pittsburgh side of things, Rico Dattle got ruled out felt like kind of last minute last week and it
17:36obviously led to an explosion game from Jaylen Warren who's just been lights out since Rico Dattle went out with the turf. Though he was limited in practice
17:44all week, which typically points to a guy suiting up. So, I would be way more surprised if he didn't play this
17:50upcoming week. That being said, you know, Mike McCarthy came out and basically said like Jaylen Warren's our featured player right now. Whether or
17:57not that's real, you know, remains to be seen. I am, if I'm looking at the players on the board, would without a
18:04doubt start Jaylen Warren over all of these guys. No doubt about it. So, with that being said, like, you know, I'm
18:09throwing him into the mustard category until we see a game where, you know, it's like 12 touches for Warren and 11
18:14for Rico Dowel. You just ride Jaylen Warren into the ground and hope he continues to have these explosion games.
18:19They're also dealing with a ton of wide receiver injuries right now. Roman Wilson's out and Michael Pitman Jr.'s out. So like the passing game I think is
18:26going to continue to work around a lot of the running backs with Aaron Rogers at quarterback. Enrico D plays like he's
18:32a shaky flex at best there. Flip side still a little bit confusing in the Tampa Bay backfield week to week. It
18:38feels like we're just kind of, you know, playing whack-a-ole figuring out whose role is what. Bucky looked phenomenal against the Dallas Cowboys. This is a
18:44little bit of a a more difficult matchup of course against the Pittsburgh Steelers here. Let's actually look at that um weather report to make sure
18:51there's nothing we're overlooking. So, you know, this is just windy. Uh why it's caution winds up to 20 mph, very little chance of rain. So, okay, I I
18:59lied about the showers out there. Sorry.
19:01Usually the yellow indicates that there will be some sort of rain in the game.
19:05But if there's no rain, we're not concerned whatsoever about the wind really. Maybe if you're talking about deep passers, but we talking about
19:10running backs in this video, so that doesn't matter for us. We have to keep an eye on Baker Mayfield. I think
19:15there's a very real chance that he returns for week six and is the quarterback for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Jaylen Daniels filled in
19:21pretty admirably, but obviously you want Baker under center if you have fantasy players attached to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. So, Bucky definitely put him
19:28into this category of guys that I think will get 15 to 20 touches and is just a good player and probably more talented
19:34than most of the guys on the board here.
19:35So, Bucky will be in my lineup. No one else in this uh on this team will be in my lineup. So, we can move to the next
19:40game which is Tennessee at the Indianapolis Colts. Jonathan Taylor is going right back into the mustart category. Of course, this is a 44 12
19:49point total. Feels pretty high for what both of both of these offenses don't do.
19:53The Colts are sevenpoint favorites here.
19:55Also feels pretty high for a team that's not very good. So JT is the guy. On the flip side, you've got the split between
20:00Tony Pard and Taj Spears. I'm pretty sure if I'm not mistaken, Taj Spears caught like nine passes last week. So for the Titans backfield, like it's a
20:10great matchup versus the Colts defense.
20:11As you can see, literally dead last in EPA per run. Second to last in success rate, six most fantasy points allowed to
20:18the position. I don't think the Colts are good enough offense to like have the game script get away from the Titans.
20:25And we saw that last week where they got killed by the Texans. So, a lot of it went in favor of Taj Spears. He ended up
20:30with nine targets in this game. It was a pure 50/50 split backfield. Man, I will say with Taj Spears, like probably won't
20:37happen, but I I I think he should definitely be stashed on your benches if he's available on the waiverwire. Uh because Tony Pard feels like such an
20:45obvious trade candidate before the deadline. Like there are running back needy teams. There's a lot of injuries right now. He's someone that could
20:51probably be had for a sixth or seventh round pick at this point. And what's the point of the Titans giving him all these
20:57carries? Like you don't you you're not winning games regardless. But I think the script goes way more in favor of you
21:02know a Tony Pard game than it does a Taj Spears game. But I still think they're going 50/50 in the back field and you
21:08know the defensive matchup could be much much worse. So I got Pard in the dub flex here. Vegas has him at 60 total
21:13yards, 10 receiving yards. You know he might back his way into the end zone. I don't feel great about him but like you
21:18could definitely do worse at flex during by weeks. Next game we've got the Arizona Cardinals at the LA Rams. The Rams are 12 and a half point favorites
21:27here. 51 and a half point total. Kairen is a [ __ ] animal. Goes right into the must-art category. The other side of
21:33things is very, very, very tricky.
21:34Obviously, Jeremiah Love, 12 carries for 22 yards. He's been inefficient. He's not catching a ton of passes. Tyler Algier is playing a ton of snaps here.
21:44So, I don't want to write off Jeremiah Love right now, but this definitely ain't the matchup to feel confident about him. So, he's going into the shaky
21:50flex category. he'll be, you know, towards the top of it just because he is very talented, but he's clearly dealing with some sort of injury and the
21:58Cardinals offensive line is just a mess right now. Their offense is really, really poor, obviously, too. So, don't feel good about him. Don't feel good
22:04about Algier. Blake Cororm, you know, you can kind of talk yourself into him coming off of his best game of the
22:09season and in a game script where they are 12 and a half point favorites, they can get up pretty big pretty quickly.
22:14So, you know, this could be another game where Blake Horm ends up getting double- digit touches, ends up getting a goal
22:20line score. Don't want him in my lineup, but like you probably could do worse.
22:23Next up, we got Buffalo at the Las Vegas Raiders. So, Buffalo just played in LA.
22:28They're actually staying on the West Coast, so I actually like that a little bit more than coming back and then traveling again. I think they'll be a
22:34little bit more situated out there. Uh, this offense is obviously humming.
22:37Hopefully, they get DJ Moore back and they could be at full strength. Uh, regardless, this is a running back video. So, James Cook, of course, is in
22:44the must start category. For as many touchdowns as Josh Allen steals, James Cook is still like among the league leaders at running back in rushing
22:52touchdowns. Like, I couldn't imagine how many he would get if Josh Allen was not their quarterback, but also, you know, how good would the offense be if he
22:58wasn't? You guys get the point. James Cook is awesome. They just have so many goal line opportunities. 53 and a half
23:03point total in this game. The Bills are 5 and a half point favorites. His yardage is up over 100. Anytime touchdown is minus 180 for him. So,
23:10James Cook in your lineup obviously flip side a little bit more difficult to figure out here with Ashen Genty because he is another guy that's pretty clearly
23:19I think playing through an injury. He's not been efficient whatsoever. Bill's defense is pretty pretty bad. So, I still feel relatively good about him.
23:26His workload's going to be good. He's going to catch passes. Three and a half reception line is pretty strong here, but obviously we're not really getting
23:31the explosives. We're not getting a bunch of touchdowns out of him. So, I I think he belongs in the conversation with the rest of these guys that are
23:36kind of in this feels good category.
23:38Then, you know, Ty Johnson had a big game, but that was whatever, we ain't talking about it. Next up, we got the
23:42Chargers at the Kansas City Chiefs. The Chiefs are eight and a half point favorites. This is a 42 and a half point
23:48total here. The Chiefs coming off of the buy. Kenneth Walker, of course, is going right into the mustart category. He's going to have a massive game. The other
23:54side of things extremely difficult to figure out. They are basically splitting carries and touches between the three backfield mates dead evenly. Like 35% of
24:03the snaps go into Hampton, 35 to Vidal, 35 to Keaton Mitchell. and it is just clean across the board. You don't know
24:09who's going to score the touchdown. You don't know who's going to catch the passes. We have the offensive line in shambles right now. No Rashan Slater. We
24:14don't know if Joe Walt's going to come back this week. Justin Herbert likely dealing with a high ankle sprain.
24:19Probably plays, but like I don't know regardless.
24:23I don't know how to not put all them into the rather not category, but I also don't know how to put all of them into
24:28the not in the shaky flex category.
24:30They're not guys I want to start. We'll we'll put it that way. But like I also don't know that I would blame anyone for
24:36starting any of those three. As crazy as that sounds, they're they're bad. The Charger situation is horrendous. Uh the Chiefs should dominate this game. Next
24:43up, we've got the Dallas Cowboys at the Green Bay Packers for Sunday night football. This is going to be a fun
24:47game. 52 and a half point total here.
24:50The Cowboys are one and a half point underdog. Still feel great about Javante Williams despite him having, you know, relatively floor games every other week.
24:57But, you know, he always rumbles his way into a touchdown here. anytime touchdown line is minus200.
25:03That's matched with Bejon. That's better than Kenneth Walker. So obviously he's going into your lineups and the matchup is great versus the Green Bay Packers
25:10weak fronts. Match up is also great for the Green Bay Packers running backs here versus Dallas. You can see a lot of
25:15green across the board. I'm actually kind of confident about Marshon Lloyd.
25:18who was someone that I highlighted last week in the running back rankings video where I thought he would have a strong
25:22game because Christopher Brooks uh was out there and they called up Pierre Strong to play in this game and Caleb Johnson basically did not play at all.
25:31So, it was a two-man backfield between Marshon Lloyd and Pierre Strong. Pier Strong playing in more of like the obvious passing situations and pass
25:38blocking stuff, but it does give me a lot more confidence assuming Christopher Brooks is out, assuming Josh Jacobs is obviously out like that. Marshon Lloyd
25:45is going to be their featured back. The offensive line has also looked decently better since signing all the veterans.
25:51And it's not like this is a match up where they can get overpowered. I think that offensive line will probably bend,
25:55bend, bend, and then break when they're playing against better defenses. But they've been improved slightly over the last couple weeks, which gives me more
26:02confidence. And I think I would start Marshon Lloyd over a guy like Tony Pard.
26:06Do I expect explosion game from him? No.
26:08But his touchdown line of minus 165 is really, really, really strong. It's just one of those running backs getting the workload, right situation. So really the
26:17only guy you're considering for the Green Bay Packers. Moving on to the final game of the week. We've got the Washington Commanders at San Francisco
26:25for Sunday Night Football. Washington traveling cross country. They are 7 and 12 point underdogs. This is a 50 and 1/2 point total. Let's see what the weather
26:32concerns are. Here we have wind 16 mph.
26:37So 15 to 20 range. Light chance of rain.
26:40I probably got to fix that where wind doesn't really matter much, but worth noting. So unless there's rain in the mix, we don't care. Christian McCaffrey
26:46going to the mustart category. Of course, flip side, Jakori Kimmer finally had a pretty good game last week with Jaden Daniels finally coming back. Do I
26:54think that is like sticky? Not in the sense that I I I expect big touchdown plays or anything like that, but JK
27:01should continue to lead the team in touches in games at least where they are not like falling behind, but this could
27:05be one of them as more than touchdown underdogs. And the San Francisco 49ers offense is really good. Their defense has been really good, although they are
27:11pretty banged up. So, you know, it won't be an elite defense. I don't think so.
27:15For right now, I I look at Jaka probably similar to how I look at like a JK Dobbins, Quinc Judkins, where like can
27:21project 12 to 15 carries most likely, but hard to project them for a touchdown. The game script's not working in their favor. Rashad White's also not
27:29a guy that I want in my lineup either.
27:31Neither is I guess Kalon Black can go in there. All these guys, whatever, whatever, whatever. All right, so nice little quick video for y'all cuz we do
27:37have four teams on buy. So, here's a more large scale view for you. We actually have 13 players in the must-ar
27:45category. Six in the feels good. Three in the dub flex. Not a lot of great flex options where you could obviously argue
27:50that like the Woody Marxes, the Allens, the Emanuel Wilsons belong more in the dub flex category than the feels good category, but I just feel a lot better
27:57about their projected workload than I do the the Cam Scatabos and Marshon Lloyds of the world right now, plus a little
28:04bit more of their upside. So, these guys operate as a bell. They're like less talented bellcows against tough matchups. You guys get the [ __ ]
28:10point. I've said it 40 times already. As always, like I said, you can grab the rankings right now on bdgeg.co if you're a fantasy member. You can get
