Mike Evans

PositiveProjection0:00

The source projects Mike Evans to hit double-digit touchdowns and potentially lead the league in receiving touchdowns, citing his role as the clear WR1 in Kyle Shanahan's efficient offense and his elite red-zone dominance. His status as the undisputed WR1 is further solidified by the season-ending IR placement of Ricky Pearsall due to a recurring PCL sprain.

0:00I could see a world where Mike Evans
0:01easily hits double-digit touchdowns and
0:03and might even like fight for the the
0:05league lead in in receiving touchdowns
0:07this year. That being said, and I will
0:09say I wrote this up prior to the Ricky
0:11Pearsall injury. If you had any doubt of
0:13who was going to be the wide receiver
0:14one now, it is guaranteed and assuredly
0:17so going to be Mike Evans. Now, he's
0:19going to be shooting up draft boards,
0:20but if you're not really paying
0:22attention to training camp news right
0:23now, Ricky Pearsall aggravated the PCL
0:25sprain that kept him out a lot of last
0:27year and has been placed on
0:28season-ending IR. Not be seen on an NFL
0:31football field until 2027.
0:34You also have George Kittle coming back
0:36from an Achilles tear that happened in
0:37January, all right? He's another one,
0:39very old coming back from a very serious
0:41injury. This offense though is always
0:43going to be great cuz Kyle Shanahan runs
0:45it. The scheme is great, so it's almost
0:47just like cogs in there, man. It doesn't
0:49really matter who's on the field, and
0:50right now Mike Evans is like the only
0:52sure thing to be on on the field. But,
0:54you know, Mike Evans's target share is
0:55going to be extremely high in this
0:57offense. They're so efficient inside the
0:5910-yard line, and that's like what Mike
1:01Evans was put on planet Earth to do was
1:04to dominate in the red zone. So, I could
1:06see a world where Mike Evans easily hits
1:08double-digit touchdowns and and might
1:10even like fight for the the league lead
1:12in in receiving touchdowns this year.
1:14So, Mike Evans, I have moved so far up
1:17my rankings right now. I think most
1:18people are going to catch up to me
1:19rather than me going backwards to try to
1:22catch up to them, but I am very high on
1:24Mike Evans. You're able to get him in
1:25the fourth, fifth round right now. I
1:27mean, you get him as your three, like
1:28the number one target in a Kyle Shanahan
1:30offense, like come on now.
