Aaron Jones

PositiveProjection10:47

Aaron Jones is projected an extremely high yardage total of 78 total yards by Vegas, which is a high number for him. He typically plays 65% of the snaps in the Minnesota offense, which has looked good against weak opponents. The Giants are a poor defense, making this a favorable matchup. Classified as dub flex with a recommendation to have him in your lineup for Week 16.

Insight page

Blake Corum

NegativeMatchup1:41

Placed in shaky flex category for Week 16 despite back-to-back good games prior. In the previous Rams-Seattle matchup, Corum rushed 8 times for approximately 10 yards, illustrating Seattle's defensive strength and the difficulty of the matchup.

Insight page

Bucky Irving

PositiveProjection14:01

Bucky Irving is the primary Tampa Bay RB with an improving health trajectory and increasing touches. Vegas projects 81 yards, a high yardage projection for him. He is the go-to guy getting the majority of touches in the Tampa Bay offense and is ranked as the best player in the offense despite Shawn Tucker's goal-line role. Irving will remain efficient as long as Tampa Bay's offensive pieces stay healthy. While Tucker may get carries at the 1-2 yard line, Irving can still score inside the 10-yard line on pass plays.

Insight page

Chris Rodriguez

NegativeRole3:58

Rodriguez was sidelined last week but returned to full practice on Tuesday and is expected to be ready for Thursday. His return will restore the Washington backfield to a muddled committee, making the entire running back group one to avoid for Week 16 fantasy purposes due to unclear carry split and uncertainty about how carries will be distributed.

Insight page

Christian McCaffrey

PositiveProjection24:34

Must start for Week 16 fantasy playoffs.

Insight page

D'Andre Swift

PositiveProjection5:19

Coming off a two-touchdown, nearly 100-yard game. Despite Green Bay being a tough matchup on paper, BDGE Fantasy Football feels relatively good about Swift for Week 16 due to Chicago's receiver injuries (Roma Dunes, Luther Burden, Christian Watson, Dantavian Wixs all DNP) forcing a run-heavy, 12-personnel game script. Ranked as a 'dub flex' (definitely flex); BDGE says 'you definitely have DeAndre Swift in your lineup if you own him,' comparing him to Kyren Williams as a guy who has earned the 'feels good' category.

Insight page

David Montgomery

PositiveProjection21:57

Flex consideration for Week 16 against Pittsburgh despite initial reluctance to start him. Steelers' defensive injuries (Nick Herbig lost, TJ Watt likely out longer, Derrick Harman status uncertain) create opportunity. Harman's splits show wide gap in run defense with/without him on field. Recent precedent: Devon Henry recently torched Pittsburgh's run defense, suggesting vulnerability.

Insight page

Derrick Henry

PositiveProjection22:54

Must-start for Week 16 against Patriots' weakened run defense. Patriots were elite run defense until Milton Williams' Week 11 injury; since then they've ranked 31st in EPA per rush allowed and 30th in offensive success rate allowed. They've allowed 30 PPG to RBs over the last two weeks (James Cook had a huge game). Williams is out on IR. Henry is likely to get heavy volume as the Ravens try to establish the run game.

Insight page

Isaiah Davis

NegativeUsage12:30

Isaiah Davis played 43% of snaps last week in committee with Bruce Hall, who played 57%. The snap split is not considered sticky, making it difficult to feel confident about any Jets offensive player for Week 16.

Insight page

Isiah Pacheco

NegativeMatchup8:59

Pacheco is classified as an avoid for Week 16 against Tennessee. The pass-funnel defense featuring Jeffrey Simmons and Tavandre Sweat makes it difficult to run the ball. Pacheco had more carries than Kareem Hunt last week but still faces a poor matchup.

Insight page

James Cook

PositiveProjection6:30

Cook is ranked as the goat and a must-start for Week 16. He faces Cleveland, which has been shredded by opposing running backs in fantasy football since defensive tackle Malik Collins went out.

Insight page

Jaylen Warren

NegativeRole5:58

Warren had a breakout game last week but was not involved in the passing game. With Chris Rodriguez returning to full practice on Tuesday and expected to be ready for Thursday, the Washington backfield becomes muddled. BDGE Fantasy Football ranks Warren as a shaky flex leaning toward dub flex in a timeshare with Kenneth Gainwell, with mainstream consensus shifting to favor Gainwell over Warren. Detroit Lions run defense is pretty good, making the timeshare more complicated. The entire Washington running back group is recommended to avoid for Week 16.

Insight page

Jonathan Taylor

PositiveProjection24:03

Must start for Week 16 with 25–30 touches expected as Philip Rivers continues as starter for Monday night. Improved continuity expected with Rivers' additional practice and starting reps. Easier matchup against San Francisco than the previous week vs. Seattle; Colts at home while 49ers travel to Indianapolis.

Insight page

Jordan Mason

NegativeUsage11:06

Jordan Mason is splitting carries and snaps with Aaron Jones in the Minnesota offense, but Jones typically plays 65% of the snaps while Mason gets the remainder. Categorized as shaky flex for Week 16.

Insight page

Josh Jacobs

PositiveProjection5:09

Played through knee soreness last week and scored two touchdowns. Expected to miss some practice time this week but should be good to go for Week 16 against Chicago in a cold-weather, run-heavy game script. Ranked as a start.

Insight page

Kareem Hunt

NegativeRole8:59

Hunt's value is limited in Week 16 as a goal-line back. With Gardner Minshew under center instead of Patrick Mahomes, Tennessee's pass-funnel defense and limited goal-line opportunities make him an avoid. Pacheco had more carries than Hunt last week.

Insight page

Kenneth Gainwell

PositiveProjection20:42

Earned dub flex designation in full PPR leagues for Week 16. BDGE Fantasy Football describes him as having a 'Kendrick Lamar type season,' with Aaron Rodgers targeting him as the first read on every dropback. High snap count, strong ground game, and 4.5 reception floor in a 51.5-point total game where both teams will need to score.

Insight page

Kenneth Walker III

NegativeMatchup3:54

Has a 61-yard projection for Week 16 against the Rams. In the previous Rams matchup, Walker went over 100 total yards from scrimmage with 45 receiving yards. However, he is placed in the shaky flex category due to Seattle's offensive line struggles (Charles Cross DNP) and the Rams' strong run defense; not recommended as a strong flex for the Week 16 semi-final.

Insight page

Kimani Vidal

NegativeRole9:59

Kamani Vidal has carved out a role as the pass-catching back in the Los Angeles Chargers offense and is viable to pop off a big play; however, without goal-line touches and without having the backfield to himself, he is classified as closer to a shaky flex than a must-start. The yardage total is expected to continue moving in favor of Omar Hampton.

Insight page

Michael Carter

PositiveRole16:58

Arizona RB who assumed a bellcow role last week when Zonovan Knight went out. Despite the offense's tendency to target Michael Wilson and Trey McBride, BDGE Fantasy Football believes Carter is a good start this week and leans closer to dub flex than shaky flex. If Amari De Marcato hovers around 20-25% of snaps, Carter could see a strong day from volume alone; he also catches passes, adding to his upside.

Insight page

Nick Chubb

NegativeInjury19:48

Missed last week's game with rib injury; injury status uncertain for Week 16. BDGE Fantasy Football does not want to start him due to backfield complexity with Woody Marks and Jaward Jordan also in the mix.

Insight page

RJ Harvey

PositiveRole18:09

Jacksonville RB who suffered a rib injury last game with unclear severity and availability status for Week 16. Despite inefficiency on the ground, he receives high volume of touches and goal-line work, placing him in feels good category due to pass-catching ability and scoring opportunities. BDGE Fantasy Football compares him favorably to Travis ETN in terms of opportunity profile.

Insight page

Saquon Barkley

PositiveProjection3:38

Ranked in the 'mustard' (must-start) category for Week 16 despite Philadelphia's ground game not being great overall. Has been coming through in recent weeks and faces Washington, a very easy matchup for Philadelphia as 6-12 point favorites in a 44.5-point total game.

Insight page

Tyrone Tracy

NegativeBreakout11:21

Tyrone Tracy is coming off a massive game with 2 TDs despite missing time the week before with a hip injury. He is sharing the backfield with Devin Singleary in a committee situation where the hot hand approach could benefit him. Riding the hot hand could help this week despite committee risk, but the situation remains volatile.

Insight page

Woody Marks

NegativeInjury19:48

Left last week's game with ankle injury not expected to be overly serious. If healthy and playing, ranks in dub flex category but closer to middle of tier; needs better performances and backfield takeover to earn higher ranking. Conditional on injury status and competing with Nick Chub and Jaward Jordan.

0:00Good morning, friends and enemies.
0:02Welcome in to the second to last ever running back rankings video for 2025 fantasy football. We're in the semi-finals of our playoffs and we're
0:10going to be going through every single fantasy relevant running back. Every single game and whether each of these players are starts, sits, or flexes for
0:18your lineup. We're going to start off with Thursday Night Football. We've got the Los Angeles Rams traveling to Seattle. This is a 43 12 point total.
0:27The Rams are one and a half point favorites here. I think weather is something to keep an eye on for this
0:32game. I think there's supposed to be a little bit of rain. Seattle's obviously an open stadium there. So, uh something to, you know, just keep an eye on as
0:38Thursday approaches. If we look at practice reports, doesn't look like Dvonte Adams is going to suit up.
0:44Though, though, I I will say I I felt a little bit more of a positive vibe around someone that has this hamstring
0:50injury than than I would assume. Like, not ruled out right away, especially on a short week, but you know, not here to
0:55predict that. Charles Cross, the offensive tackle for the Seattle Seahawks, would be a big loss. Started the week off with a DMP there. So, could
1:01be down a man on the offensive line for Seattle. That being said, we've got Kairen, we've got Kenneth, we got Blake,
1:06we got Zack. We got a bunch of guys doing a bunch of things in committees here. Blake Horm's obviously come off of
1:11back-to-back good games. Kron Williams has still been a stud in that time. Now, these two teams did play not too long
1:17ago. In that game, Kairen had a good game. This is obviously a very, very good stout run defense for both sides of
1:23the ball. though the top two players, Kairen Williams, Kenneth Walker, both had really strong games in this one.
1:28When I think about Kairen Williams playing in Seattle, it's like, yes, I like the Rams. I do think without Devonte, they're going to have to play a
1:35lot of 12, 13 personnel. They're going to go heavy on the ground game. That being said, you know, Vegas even has
1:40both of these guys. I'm surprised Kenneth is that close to to Kairen Williams. Maybe we just don't want to overreact to a bad game from Kairen last
1:46week. But they have Kron Williams' line only at 65 total yards. So 55 and a half rushing yards, nine and a half receiving
1:54yards. Though I I could see a world where uh the the running backs get a little bit more involved in the passing
1:59game with Devonte Adams out of the picture. So with that being said, Kairen because of how effective he's been this year and it really hasn't been like, oh,
2:08this is a bad matchup. He's played poorly. The Rams are just such a good offense. He's for me he's teetering somewhere between like he's not a mustar
2:14for me given the matchup. I don't want to take a oneame sample size that he had a good game last time against Seattle
2:19because Blake Horm had an awful game. I think he rushed eight times for like 10 yards or something like that. This is
2:24just a great Seattle run defense. So, I'm going to throw Kairen somewhere between the feels good and the dub flex category. I think he's deserved to be in
2:30that feels good category more so often than not. I'm going to be honest, the rest of the guys, I don't want them in
2:34my lineup for the semi-finals of the playoffs. Now, I know Kenneth Walker's line is pretty good. 61 yards. Last time they played the Rams, he went over 100
2:41total yards from scrimmage. Was pretty involved in the passing game or at least had a high production total there. I think he had like 45 receiving yards in
2:47that one. Overall though, just based on how Seattle's offensive line is playing, based on Seattle's run game, based on the Rams defense here, one thing to keep
2:54an eye on, Braden Fisk, DNP with an ankle injury on Monday as well, which would be a big downgrade to the
2:59defensive line. But right now, if I'm if I'm really just being honest here, if we are opening up and being vulnerable, the
3:05next three guys are going straight into the shaky flex category. Blake Cororm, Zack Charbanet, Kenneth Walker. I don't look at any of them as guys that I think
3:11are strong flexes in your semi-final matchup for week 16. So, we're going to move into Saturday's matchups. We have Philadelphia at Washington. Yes, I said
3:19Saturday's matchup. So, make sure you are primed, you are ready. Always put these dudes, if they are playing in the early games in the actual position slot
3:26because if something happens to them and you have them in the flex spot, then you have less options to maneuver around
3:32those, you know, Saturday, Sunday injuries that could happen pregame or whatever. We saw a couple of them last week. So just be conscious of that.
3:38Philadelphia at Washington I actually think is pretty clearcut. We have Saquon in the mustard category. You know the ground game has not been great but he's
3:44been coming through and Washington is just such an easy matchup for Philadelphia. 6 and 12 point favorites here. 44 and a half point total. On the
3:52flip side this is another grouping where it's like it's obviously a muddled backfield but to me it's easy. You don't want any of these guys in your lineup
3:58because Jakori Kroski Morett had sort of a breakout game last week. Not involved in the passing game whatsoever. but with Chris Rodriguez randomly kind of
4:05sidelined last week. He took over as the main back. However, Chris Rodriguez returned to a full practice on Tuesday.
4:12So, very much expecting him to be ready for Thursday, which makes this entire running back group one to avoid in my
4:18opinion. Yes, one of them could end up having, you know, 40, 50 yards and a touchdown and you could look back and be
4:22like, I wish I had the 11 points in my lineup. But right now, JCM coming off the good game, we have no idea how
4:27they're going to split carries between him and Rodriguez. And with the Philadelphia Eagles defense, which is not like terrifying anymore, but still
4:34above average, I just don't want to play any of them. Green Bay at Chicago. Huge match up for both of these teams. You
4:39got the Packers as one and a half point favorites here. They're on the road in Chicago. 46 and a half point total here.
4:45Let's look at the injury reports for both sides. This is going to be another very, very cold game out there in
4:50Chicago. The ones that stand out obviously are the receivers. You have Roma Dunes started with the DMP. Luther Burton also started with the DMP.
4:56Christian Watson DMP. Dantavian Wixs DMP. So, it's probably going to be a running back centered game here for both sides. Lucas Vaness DMP here. And Zack
5:04Tom, offensive tackle for the Packers who left last week's game is also a DMP.
5:09That would be a big hit to this offensive line. Regardless, Jacobs, you know, played through the knee soreness.
5:15I expect him to kind of miss a little bit of practice time this week, but he should be good to go. We saw him last
5:19week, two touchdowns here. Not going to overthink that. Jacobs is going in there. DeAndre Swift, like, yes, is a very tough matchup on paper versus the
5:26Green Bay Packers. know Michael Parsons obviously going forward. He's obviously a better pass rusher than he is a run defender. But regardless, Swift coming
5:32off the two touchdown nearly 100 yard game. I feel relatively good about DeAndre Swift. I think again in the in this cold weather, this is going to be a
5:39game where Chicago, especially if Rome is out, especially if Luther Burden are out. They have all these weapons that they're down. Like you can't run a
5:45passing game effectively through Alam Zakius and DJ Moore. Maybe Coulson Lovelin gets a bump up there. But I'd imagine we're going to see a lot of 12
5:51personnel, a lot of two tight ends, a lot of heavy blocking here. So DeAndre Swift to me I feel like he's guy like
5:57Kyron Williams who's kind of earned that feels good category. He's probably closer to a dub flex like you definitely have DeAndre Swift in your lineup if you
6:03own him. Kyle Nungai guy who we did see a little bit of a a snap taper effect off of the split for split Swift to Kyle
6:11Manungai drives last week or was a little bit more in favor of DeAndre Swift. And I don't necessarily feel like Kyle Manungai is like a super strong
6:18flex. So I'm going to put him into the shaky flex. I can definitely start him if you need to but don't feel overly
6:22strong about it. Let's move to the one:00 slates on Sunday. Buffalo at Cleveland. Here we've got Buffalo's 10-point favorites, 42 and a half point
6:30total in Cleveland. I've mentioned this quite a few times at this point, but since Malik Collins, their kind of star under the radar defensive tackle for the
6:38Browns, has gone out. They've been shredded by opposing running backs in fantasy football. James Cook is the goat right now. He's going into the must
6:45start. Quinton Judkins is a really, really tough start at this point. and he's a tough click and he's been, you know, floating around that feels good
6:51category for me for a while cuz the amount of touches he typically gets is great. Last week we had no Dylan Samson,
6:56we had no Jerome Ford. He got four targets, turned it into nothing. And at this point, Judkins, I would say he's
7:02averaging like three yards a carry. They were without four of their starting offensive linemen for Cleveland last week. So without that, I I would almost
7:09picture Judkins the same way as Genty, where it's like the offensive line is just so far out mismatched to the defensive line that he's just getting
7:17hit behind the line of scrimmage every single play, whereas Genty has a little bit more upside cuz he's so involved in
7:22the passing game, but Judkin simply is not. This should be a great matchup on paper. Buffalo Bills get kind of scratched through the ground game. And I
7:29do think if Dylan Stampson misses again, Drone Ford's on the IR, like those four targets, that feels a little bit more
7:35like noise and that not actual signal here where those four targets could easily turn into like 30 yards for a guy
7:40like Judkins. So, I don't want to overreact, but he won't be like a top 15 guy for me. So, we'll throw him into the
7:45dub flex category and we will move forward. Cincinnati at Miami, 50 and a half point total here. The Dolphins are at home. They are two and a half point
7:54underdogs. Devonte Chan of course is going right into the mustart. Uh Chase Brown, you know, the the Miami Dolphins run defense has been they were kind of
8:00tore up by Pittsburgh, but prior to that game, they have been a lot better over the second half of the year. I still
8:05feel really good about having Chase Brown in my lineup, and I think we could just move forward after that one. Kansas
8:10City at Tennessee. So, we've got Patrick Mahomes obviously out for this one.
8:14Kansas City's down a bunch of offensive linemen. Tennessee Titans stink. This is a 37 12 point total here. Chiefs still favored by three and a half points. Tony
8:22Per coming off of two really, really, really strong games. I still think I am not looking to get him into my lineup.
8:29He'll be a shaky flex. He'll be, you know, towards the top of it for sure. I don't think you can completely write off
8:33what he's done the last couple of weeks.
8:34And those types of performances do have momentum to them. Those types of performances do end up giving you a really really high, you know, carry
8:42total and opportunity share total. When you get 20 20 25 carries and you turn them into a really productive day, the
8:48game plan typically ends up being the same thing the following week. So Tony Fard, shaky flex, I don't feel great about him, especially not in the match
8:53up against the Kansas City Chiefs. On the other side of the ball, unfortunately, Pacheco actually had more carries than Kareem Hunt last week.
8:59Kareem Hunt is useful as the goal lineback. Unfortunately, they're not going to have a lot of goal line opportunities with Gardner Mchu under
9:05center instead of Patrick Mahomes.
9:08Tennessee is also a passfunnel defense where it's not that easy to run the ball against Jeffrey Simmons and Tavandre Sweat here. So honestly, Kareem Hunt
9:15rather not. Isaiah Bachco rather not.
9:17Immediately, we're going to go to the Chargers at the Dallas Cowboys here. All right, so we've got a 49 1/2 point
9:24total. We've got the Chargers as 1 and a half point underdogs playing in Jerry's world. Omar Hampton still playing fewer snaps than Kamani Vidal, but he's looked
9:34really good. He's getting more carries, which is important, and he's almost assuredly the goal lineback. This is a very, very good matchup against the
9:40Dallas Cowboys defense, which has been better over the second half of the year, but still not a matchup that scares you
9:45to stay away from them whatsoever.
9:47Javvante Williams is going to go into the mustart category uh right away, just the touches, the offense that he's attached to. Amari Hampton, I'm going to
9:54throw into the dub flex category for sure. And honestly, he's probably closer to feels good than he is dub flex.
9:59Kamani Vidal, the matchup is there. I do think the yardage total here will it'll continue to move in favor of Omar
10:05Hampton in my opinion. And Vidal has definitely carved out a role as the pass catching back in this Los Angeles Chargers offense here. And I do think
10:12he's viable to to pop off a big play, but I also think without goal line touches, without having the backfield to
10:18himself, if he doesn't pop off that big play, he's closer to a shaky flex for me than he is a like mustart guy. And I do
10:24think there's a legitimate conversation to be had between Manungi, Pard, Vidal, Kenneth Walker, Blake. All guys in time shares that you can make good cases for.
10:34Like some of them are explosive and athletic. Some of them have the better matchup, etc., but they're all in the same tier for me. Moving to Minnesota at
10:41the New York Giants. 43 and a half point total here. They are in New York. New York is three-point underdogs in this
10:47one. So, we have Aaron Jones, who is projected an extremely high yardage total here. Obviously, you play against the Giants and you're probably going to
10:55have a good game. We saw what JCM did to them last week despite having to shake off the rust of basically like 10 weeks
10:59of doing a nothing burger. Aaron Jones is projected 78 total yards in Vegas, which is a high number for him. I get
11:06it. You know, him and Jordan Mason are splitting carries are splitting snaps, but Jones is typically playing like 65% of the snaps in this offense. An offense
11:12that's looked good against shitty opponents, and the Giants are absolutely that. So, Aaron Jones to me, dub flex for sure. Like, I definitely think you
11:20should probably have him in your lineup.
11:21I think that's the same with Tracy randomly coming off of that massive game, two touchdowns despite like missing time the week before with the
11:28hip injury and just sharing the backfield with Devin Singleary. So, I don't want to get over my skis with Tyrone Tracy because again, anytime
11:34there's like a committee, it's viable for there to be a hot hand approach where, you know, Devin Singleary out touches him 16 to 12 this week and it
11:41looks bad, but I do think riding the hot hand could help this week. And then Singleary, Jordan Mason are both going
11:46to go into the shaky flex category.
11:48Singleary should have been up there.
11:50Bang. New York Jets at the New Orleans Saints here. All right, so we've got a 4 and a half point favorite game for the
11:57New Orleans Saints. 40 and a half point total going to be low scoring. I don't think we have word on exactly like who's
12:03starting where for what team. I believe Brady Cook will be getting another start here unless Tyrod Taylor or Justin Fields can return. That would be an
12:11upgrade for Bruce Hall of course cuz Brady Cook can't really manage offensive drives very well. Bree Hall, man, I don't want to overreact. This isn't a
12:20great matchup. Like the New Orleans Saints have actually been a little bit better against opposing offenses than probably given credit for just cuz their
12:25team doesn't have a lot of success. I don't feel great about Bruce Hall. I'll throw him into the dub flex category.
12:30That that's where I'm at because, you know, he's probably going to get the line share of work and he's always viable to pop off a big play. Good pass
12:35catcher. We did see Isa Isaiah Davis play quite a bit last week. I think the snaps were somewhere in like the 57 to
12:4243% range for Bree Hall and Isaiah Davis, though I don't think that's necessarily sticky. I just I just think it's hard to feel good about any player
12:48in the Jets offense at this point. The other side of the ball, we don't have any injury updates on Alvin Kamaro. We
12:53do know Devin Neil is very likely to miss this game with a hamstring injury which leaves Audrey Estay and Evan Hull
13:00as the two remaining backs, the last men standing in this backfield. They split snaps when Deon Neil went down last week. It was a little bit more in favor
13:09of Esme. Esme was also running the more valuable plays and snaps in there. He was running routes. He was catching passes. And I also think given his size
13:15discrepancy, he's got 15 20 pounds on Evan Hull. It would make sense that he becomes the goal lineback here. So, I'm
13:22not quite ready to throw Estimate into the dove flex category, but I do think you could do a lot worse than him. So,
13:26I'm going to throw him into the shaky flex and I do think he deserves to be in this conversation because the Jets
13:31defense is so [ __ ] bad this year, especially against the run that I think there are going to be some teams that
13:36benefit from having Audrey Estimate, assuming Kamara and Deon Neil are out in this one. Evan Hull is going to be a guy
13:41that like wouldn't surprise me if he had uh you know like an Amari demarcado type performance where carries the ball five
13:47times, catches three to four passes and ends up with a big play on his hands cuz he is an explosive athlete but like you
13:52can't rely on him in your lineup for championship semi-final week. Moving to Tampa Bay at Carolina. All right, so we've got Tampa Bay three-point
14:01favorites in this one. 45 12 point total. Now, Bucky, his Vegas yardage is up at 81 yards. And Rico not too far
14:09behind 75 yards, which I feel like is a little bit lofty as well for him. Bucky is the go-to guy there, getting the
14:16majority of touches. However, they very clearly like Shawn Tucker on the goal line, which is a bit concerning for Bucky Irving owners. That being said, I
14:23still think he's the best player. I still think this Tampa Bay offense is going to continue to get better and better now with Mike Evans back on the
14:28field there. I think that's kind of like an underrated part of the narrative here. I think, you know, this is like a
14:33all chips kind of rise with the tide, right? And I think Bucky will be an efficient player as long as the
14:39offensive pieces are healthy for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. And Bucky, listen, like Shawn Tucker will get the carries, it looks like, on the one or two yard
14:46line, but Bucky might get in for one or two of those. He's also a guy that they'll have inside the 10 yard line
14:50that they could run pass plays for. So again, don't want to overthink like one game sample sizes for a guy like Bucky
14:56Irving who is continuing to get healthier and healthier and getting more touches in that back field. That being said, like I don't want to start the
15:02other Tampa Bay Buccaneers running backs. Rico Dattle is an interesting case. He did out carry Tuba Hubard. I think it was 16 to8 last week. They kind
15:09of split the routes run and the number of targets they get on a week- toeek basis. But it is Rico Dattle who is in
15:14there on the goal line. This is like not an easy matchup necessarily. You know, anytime like Vea is in the middle of a
15:21defensive line, that's going to be tough to run against. He's going to swallow up a lot of running backs there. Pause. But
15:25they have allowed the eighth most fantasy points to the running back position. I think their defense has kind of been exposed the last few weeks as
15:31well. They are bottom five in EPA per rush allowed, which is probably a little bit more telling towards like how good
15:36they actually are. And I do think based on this line, 75 total yards plus 120 for an anytime touchdown. Like Rico D's
15:43likely going to be in my lineup. I have a decision to make this week. I mean, Kareem Hunts now out of the running, but
15:48I'm going to be deciding between Rico Dattle and I think uh what Brian Thomas Jr. and someone else in my flex. And I
15:54think I'm pretty comfortably going to end up going with Rico Dattle there.
15:57Obviously, if you want any of my rankings this week, flex, you know, running back, straight up, wide receiver, PPR, half PPR, whatever, those
16:03are always available to you guys on bdge.co for big dog members, that's our monthly membership. Get you the waiver rankings, get you the weekly rankings.
16:11The cheapest way to get them is by going to our partner app or website, MGM. If you deposit $10 for the first time using
16:18code BDGE, play any slip on there. Uh, you want to take that Rico underline.
16:22don't suggest it, but that could be a slip that you play. Any slip you play on there with code BDGE is going to get you
16:28a promo code sent to you in their app for three months free of the big dog membership going into the offseason. We
16:33got dynasty rankings, all that good stuff. So, the link to go to our partner website will be down below. Rico Dattle
16:38also down below in that dub flex category means Shuba Hubard can obviously always, you know, break away a big passing game. He's been relatively
16:44involved on that side of things. So, he's going to go into the shaky flex category and we will move on to Atlanta
16:49at Arizona. All right, so we've got Atlanta is two and a half point favorites on the road in Arizona. Bjan, of course, is a must start. The other
16:56side of things a little bit trickier.
16:58Zonovan Knight's on the IR. Trey Benson's on the IR. James Conor's on the IR. So it leaves Michael Carter. It leaves Amari D Marcato. Last week it was
17:05a bellcow role for Michael Carter once Zonovan Knight went out. Though it was the first week back for Amardi Marcato from the high ankle sprain. So I do
17:13think Amardi Marcato will have a larger passing game role this week against the Atlanta Falcons. So, when I'm looking at Michael Carter, I actually think I I I
17:21think he's kind of a good start this week. Like, I'm having trouble throwing him in one of these tiers. Like, I do
17:27think it's a shaky flex just based on like the player and the archetype and this offense just throws to Michael Wilson and Trey McBride every time
17:33they're down there. But, I do think if it's consolidated, if Amari De Marcado does end up, you know, hovering around 20 to 25% of snaps, we could see a
17:41really strong day out of Michael Carter just from a volume standpoint. He does catch passes as well. So, as weird as it
17:47sounds, I'm actually kind of leaning closer to the dub flex category for Michael Carter than I am the shaky flex category. But I do think he belongs in
17:54the conversation with all these guys down here for the most part. Amard Marcato is going to be much closer to a
17:59rather not than a flex start for you.
18:02Jacksonville at Denver. Next grouping up here, we've got the Broncos as three-point favorites at home. Feels like a pretty low line. I guess
18:09Jacksonville's playing pretty well, but I don't know that I actually believe in what they're doing right now. 45 and a half point total here. RJ Harvey bangs
18:15up his ribs last game, so we don't have any reports on how serious that was or if he's actually in jeopardy of missing
18:22this game. That being said, these are two very, very tough run defense. It's two of the best in the NFL. On the other
18:27side of things, Bashaw Tuton's going to have finger surgery, which is going to sideline him probably for the remainder of the fantasy season, uh, if not the
18:33entire regular season. So Travis ETN for me despite the matchup I mean just the involvement the number of opportunities the backfield guys get in Jacksonville
18:41puts him into the mustart category despite playing against Denver obviously RJ Harvey if he's healthy he's so inefficient on the ground but they give
18:50him so many touches so he's kind of he's kind of similar to Travis ETN so I'd put him into the feels good category because
18:54he catches passes because he gets all the goal line work but I do imagine it'll be another inefficient game for him on the ground and there's no one
19:00else that you want to start in this matchup I guess we could put the Quinn Allen in the rather Not just to show a
19:04little respect. Next up, we got Las Vegas at the Houston Texans. Houston 14 12 point favorites here. 37 1/2 point total, which means Vegas's projected
19:14scoring for Las Vegas is probably around like 12 points or something like that, which is not great for Ashley Genty.
19:19This is obviously not an easy matchup whatsoever for him against the Houston Texans. That mismatch between their defensive line and the Las Vegas
19:27offensive line is horrendous. But yeah, I I genuinely think Genty belongs in the dub flex category. again like opportunity shares 80%. But yeah, you're
19:34having the conversation of like Genty versus Michael Carter versus Kamani Vidal. It it's it's bad, but that's really where we're at right now. On the
19:41flip side of things, we had Nick Chub missed last week's game with a rib injury. We have Woody Marks leaving last
19:49week's game with an ankle injury and then Jaward Jordan is the one who steps in, has a big game, but he's undized.
19:55He's unathletic. I do like the match up against the Raiders, but I don't think the Woody Marks injury is supposed to be
20:00overly serious. If Woody Marks and Nick Chub both miss, I'm going to put Jaw Jordan into the dub flex category. If
20:06either of them play, he's going to fall down to the shaky flex at best and closer to the rather not category for
20:11me. Woody Marks, if he is healthy, if he is playing, I probably have needed to see like just better outings for him.
20:17More like taking over the game, taking over the backfield type of performances for me to feel great about him. But he'll go into the dub flex category and
20:25probably, you know, closer to thisish range here than at the bottom of it. If Nick Chub plays, there's just a lot of
20:31moving parts here. Obviously, I don't really want to play Nick Chub, but we'll move on to the next game. We've got
20:35Pittsburgh at Detroit. Detroit seven-point favorites, 51 and a half point total. Of course, Jamir Gibbs is going into the mustart category. The
20:42other side of the ball is a little bit trickier. I mean, we have Jaylen Warren and Kenneth Gainwell and Gainwell is
20:47just popping right now. Like, Kung Fu Kenny is having a Kendrick Lamar type season right now. If any of you guys
20:52watch the Monday night game, it's like every drop back it feels like Kenneth Gw is like the first read for Aaron Rogers.
20:59So, at this point, it's not a good matchup. Like, the Detroit Lions run defense is pretty good. And it feels like now that the entire mainstream is
21:05like, "Oh, Kenneth Gainwell is the better start over Jaylen Warren. That's exactly when the flip switches." But I just don't know how you can go in any
21:12other direction here. Another guy that you just kind of have that same conversation of like, okay, do I start Michael Carter or do I start Kenneth
21:19Gainwell? Do I start Kenneth Gainwell or Kamani Vidal? These are two guys in a in a time share. I think at this point,
21:24it's pretty safe to say that Jaylen Warren's probably a shaky flex, more so a dub flex. It's really deciding between Kenneth Gainwell. Do we feel great about
21:30him in the in in the flex category? Do we feel good about him in the shaky flex category? In full PPR leagues, I do
21:35think he's kind of earned the dub flex designation. He's playing a lot of snaps. Aaron Rogers loves to throw to him. He's looked really good on the
21:40ground. So, his line's at 4 and a half receptions right now. That's such a high floor for a PPR game, especially one
21:46that has a 51 12 point total. We know Detroit's going to score. We know Pittsburgh is going to have to answer if
21:51they want to stay in this game. So, Kenneth Gainwell, we're going to throw him into the dub flex category. David Montgomery, he's one where like
21:57definitely don't want to start him. I think he could do worse. Uh we did see Devon Han just kind of like tear through
22:02the Pittsburgh Steelers run defense that kind of got away from that obviously.
22:05I'm curious to see if their rookie Derrick Harman can get back onto the field for this game. Derrick Harman was their first round pick interior
22:12defensive lineman and the splits with him on the field versus off the field for opposing running backs is really really wide. It's a big gap there. I
22:18also think they just lost Nick Herbig.
22:20Obviously TJ Watt was out last game with the lung thing. I I I'd assume he's probably out longer distance. So, there
22:27could be a lot of injuries on the defensive line for the Steelers that obviously impact a dude like David Montgomery when you're running into the
22:32interior. You know, without those guys, it becomes a lot easier. So, I do think Dave Montgomery is in the consideration of being a flex star for you this week
22:38if you need them. Let's move to the Sunday night football game. We've got New England at Baltimore. Huge game for Baltimore. It's a 48 and a half point
22:47total. The Ravens are three-point favorites at home despite the way that the season has kind of played out so far. So Derrick Henry, I actually kind
22:54of love Derrick Henry in this game. I think they're going to try to get him going. The Patriots have been a great
22:59run defense up until Milton Williams got hurt in week 11 against the Jets. And then since then, they've been extremely mediocre, if not pretty [ __ ] bad.
23:06Last two weeks, they've gotten torched.
23:07James Cook had a huge game. They're allowing like 30 points per game to to running backs over the last two weeks.
23:12And since Mil Williams got hurt, they are 31st in EPA per rush allowed and like 30th in offensive success rate on
23:19the ground allowed as well. So not a very scary matchup. And Milt Williams will miss this game as well. He's still
23:23on the IR. So Derrick Henry, I think it's a little bit tough to throw him into the mustart category, but listen,
23:28if I have him, I'm starting him over these guys for sure. And I'm just going to throw him there. Sherman Henderson
23:33coming off of a massive game last week with, you know, all the breakaway runs and everything. And it looks like he's
23:38clearly kind of like taken over the backfield to himself. So I got Trayvon, you know, big play guy. I think there's
23:43a chance that he goes out and gives you like six, seven, eight points for sure, but anytime you have a guy that can rip
23:48off like a 25, 30 point game, he needs to be in your lineup for the fantasy playoffs, Randre is definitely going to
23:54be in the shaky flex category for me.
23:56Last game of the week, we've got San Francisco at Indianapolis. This is a 46 and a half point total. We've got India
24:04six-point underdogs here. Now, Philip Rivers already ruled as a starter for Monday night, which means we're going to get another 30 touches from Jonathan
24:13Taylor here. So, yes, despite the poor efficiency that we're likely going to see. I do think another week with Rivers practicing and starting will bring a
24:21little bit more continuity to this offense. I also think again like 25 30 touches, he's going into the mustart category. An easier match up against San
24:27Francisco than it was against Seattle here. And they're at home. San Francisco has to travel to Indie, which I think obviously goes in their favor. So,
24:34Jonathan Taylor is going to be a must start and uh obviously Christian McCaffrey is too. That's going to round out the running back rankings for week
24:4116. Let's go into poster mode for you hoes. There you go. And if you want my rankings, as always, you can get that at
