Kyler Murray
PositiveValue0:00
The source identifies Kyler Murray as one of the easiest picks in superflex drafts, currently being drafted as a mid-QB2 (QB15-18). While not viewed as a top-10 real-life quarterback or top-5 fantasy option, his rushing floor and the Kevin O'Connell scheme make him a reliable top-12 to top-13 fantasy finisher if he plays the majority of the season.

0:00Do I think Kyler Murray's going to be
0:01like a top-10 real-life quarterback? No.
0:03But, he's one of the easier quarterback
0:04two clicks in all of superflex this
0:06year. Like, he's going to be motivated
0:08for whatever that means. He's just going
0:10to be in a great scheme with great
0:11weapons. And realistically, he's pretty
0:12much an annual like top-12 fantasy
0:15quarterback because the rushing floor
0:17gets him there on a weekly basis. And
0:19obviously, you have the ceiling in a
0:20Kevin O'Connell offense, which like they
0:22got Jordan Mason and Aaron Jones in the
0:23backfield. How productive is that
0:25running game really going to be? Are
0:26they really going to lean on the on the
0:27ground game? Like, you're you're seeing
0:28some hype for Jordan Mason like they do
0:30want to give him a lot of carries, but I
0:31don't think that's going to dictate a
0:33productive offense or I think they will
0:35end up having to lean on Kyler Murray
0:36quite a bit this year. We saw the upside
0:38very early in his career. Like, he's not
0:40that player in fantasy anymore where he
0:41can be a a top, you know, three, four,
0:43five fantasy quarterback. I don't think
0:45at least. But, if he doesn't play the
0:47majority of the season, I would be
0:48shocked if he doesn't finish as like a
0:50top-13, 12 fantasy quarterback. And
0:53you're getting him as a mid quarterback
0:54two. So, you know, I I don't know that I
0:56want to go ahead and draft him as my QB1
0:58in a one-quarterback league, but if you
1:00are in a superflex league, a
1:02two-quarterback league, and he's going
1:03off the board as quarterback 15, 16, 17,
1:0618, which is around what his ADP is now,
1:08he to me is one of the easier picks in
1:10all of fantasy drafts right now.
