Panthers Rookie WR Chris Brazzell will undergo season-ending surgery on torn LCL, per @josephperson
Damn, hate this for Chris. Also really brutal for a couple of reasons beyond just how much this sucks for any player as an individual. 1) While it doesn't rule it out, I do think Brazzell's loss makes it more difficult to play TMac in the slot at a high rate, even if he still plays more there than his 15% as a rookie. I believe they drafted him with the specific intent of being a space-clearer for McMillan on the boundary and helping them spread the field in 3- and 4-WR sets. 2) Brazzell is r...
After receiving a 2nd opinion, Panthers rookie WR Chris Brazzell will undergo season-ending surgery on his torn LCL, per a source with knowledge of the situation. The team and Brazzell view surgery as the best course of action for his future. <https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/7480699/2026/07/30/carolina-panthers-chris-brazzell-season-ending-injury/?unlocked_article_code=1.1lA.bImR.T2DNu7xLkx6v&source=athletic_user_shared_gift_article_copylink&smid=url-share-ta>
Chris Brazzell will unfortunately undergo season-ending surgery. The original reports never quite added up. The mention of a “tear” and an “8-week recovery” didn’t seem consistent. [Quoted](
JT Sanders’ summer becomes a bit bigger for the #Panthers with Chris Brazzell out. Sanders, in theory, could free up the slot, particularly in the red zone in 11 personnel looks because he’s kind of a hybrid body type. He’s gotten off to a bit of a slow start but had a strong day yesterday. If Mitch Evans and Tommy Tremble are healthy for in-line work, I’d think Sanders would factor into the slot math with McMillan, Coker, Moore and maybe Reed, Metchie or Horn and Tremayne.
Some of the news from camp that was enough to move rankings for us: * Malik Nabers (ACL) looking strong during individual work * Ricky Pearsall (PCL) aggravation * Tank Dell (knee) active, Jaylin Noel (finger) out * Chris Brazzell (knee) injury If using our ranks, please be sure you're re-uploading and/or refreshing before you draft. We are constantly pushing tweaks all day every day, both big and small. <https://establishtherun.com/etrs-top-300-for-half-ppr-leagues/>
