Fifth-round rookie tight end for Baltimore who appeared to have the edge over Josh Cuevas during training camp to be the team's third active tight end on game days. Through the first three weeks of the season, Hibner was on the field 39 percent of the time. However, Hibner injured his hand in Week 5 and missed Sunday's game against the Browns, opening the door for Cuevas to see increased playing time. Matt Waldman ranked Hibner TE17 in the 2026 rookie class, 10 spots behind Cuevas. The source suggests that by 2028, Hibner could be in a blocking role while Cuevas assumes the receiving role.

Rookie tight end suffered a hand injury early in the game that resulted in him being carted off the field, though he eventually returned to continue receiving blocking snaps. Hibner recorded zero targets in the matchup and stayed active with 10 pass snaps and 20 run-blocking snaps; his hand injury could have factored into his lack of targets. His role growth potential remains uncertain with Druham Smythe out for the year and Ja'Kobi Lane returning to establish his own target share.
