Lamar Jackson has the most rushing yards by a QB in NFL history. 6,522 yards - Lamar Jackson 6,109 yards - Michael Vick 119 Games - Lamar Jackson 143 Games - Michael Vick How many rushing yards does Lamar finish his career with?
I love Tory Horton y’all - just hope he is healthy and gets a chance again
Article mentions him as available round 8+. Comments note 'Skip Willis because of the unknown' but also mention people may take chances on him like they did Fields last year. Mixed sentiment: speculative upside but unproven.
Mentioned as available late and paired with floor guy in multi-QB strategy. No strong sentiment; treated as speculative ceiling option.
Mentioned as available late (round 10+) and paired with floor guy in multi-QB strategy. No strong sentiment; treated as speculative ceiling option.
One commenter picked him up after someone dropped him Week 2, paired with Bo Nix, and went 11–3 to win their league. Expected to go within first 8 rounds in 12-team but available on waivers early season. Consensus: high upside if available late or via waiver.
Mentioned as available round 8+ and preferred over Kyler Murray by one commenter. Expected to go within first 8 rounds in 12-team but still represents late-round value in some leagues. Consensus: undervalued floor option.
One commenter calls him 'a trap this year' due to Rams' elite defense (Garrett, McDuffie, possibly Donald return) likely reducing passing volume. Expected to go late but may underperform due to game-control approach. Concern: defensive strength may limit upside.
Mentioned as available late (round 10+) and paired with ceiling guy like Murray in multi-QB strategy. No strong sentiment either way; treated as solid floor option.
One commenter explicitly says 'I'm not touching Murray' but another notes analysts are warming up on him as 'high quality discount this year.' One commenter used him as ceiling guy paired with Kyler + Justin Fields, then traded for Drake Maye. Mixed sentiment: some see upside, others avoid due to injury/volatility history.
One commenter won a Yahoo H2H Prize League with Baker Mayfield. Expected to go within first 8 rounds in 12-team but available later in some formats. Consensus: undervalued late-round option with proven upside.
Cited as QB7 finish 2/2 years and 'getting slept on in fantasy.' One commenter is 'delighted to take him in the 8th or 9th round' despite ankle injury concern. Another notes Denver added Waddle and he has decent rushing floor. Expected to go late (round 8–9) due to injury and being undervalued. Consensus: strong value if healthy.
Article mentions him as available round 8+. Comments note he's been rushing since his bye last season and should be in top tier of late-round options. One commenter drafted him late, he had a good year, but was dropped for Drake Maye mid-season. Expected to go within first 8 rounds in 12-team leagues. Consensus: undervalued rushing upside.
Recommended as floor guy in multi-QB pairs due to predictable matchup-based performance. One commenter notes: 'If the opposing defense can't pressure him, he's going for 25+. If they can, he's going for 15.' Available late (round 12+) and expected within first 8 rounds in 12-team. Consensus: reliable floor with easy-to-predict ceiling.
Repeatedly cited as late-round value and floor guy in multi-QB pairs. One commenter won a league using Dak + Russell Wilson strategy (Dak hit). Another cycled through Dak late in 2025 and found success. Comments note he's available round 12+ and shouldn't be benched even if paired with ceiling guy. Consensus: reliable floor with upside.
Frequently mentioned as floor guy to pair with ceiling QB (e.g., Maye + Purdy). ESPN cheatsheet ranks him QB11. One commenter used him as floor in multi-QB strategy, then dumped him once Maye proved elite. Another notes he's available late and pairs well with high-upside dart throws. Concern: Week 1 injury risk (one commenter drafted him late, he got hurt Week 1, forced trade for Maye).
Cited as incredible value in round 5–6 (one commenter at 9.1 pick in $500 league still saw him available). Expected to go within first 8 rounds in 12-team leagues but still represents discount vs. historical ADP. One commenter called round 5 'pretty good' value. Consensus: proven QB1 upside at mid-round cost.
One commenter reports drafting him as 'set and forget guy' last year and regrets it (emoji cry). Another notes he's available in round 5–6 this year and feels like good value. Comments suggest he's going earlier in some leagues (within first 8 rounds in 12-team) but still represents discount vs. his ceiling. Mixed sentiment reflects volatility concerns vs. upside.
Emerging late-round dart throw with QB7 finish in 2025 (2/2 years). ESPN cheatsheet ranks him QB7; comments note he's being slept on and available into round 8+. One commenter used him as mid-season pickup after punting early QBs. Concern: some debate whether his volume-based production is sustainable vs. talent, but consensus is he's undervalued at current ADP.
Widely cited as the breakout late-round success story from 2025. Multiple commenters report drafting him in rounds 5–12 and pairing him with floor guys (Goff, Fields, Purdy) to evaluate early, then dumping the floor guy once Maye proved elite. One commenter won their league after drafting Maye in round 12 and JJM in round 15. Another notes he was QB2 after a mid-season trade. Concern: tougher schedule this year with AJB arrival, but still expected to go late.
Article claims Allen is overvalued in round 2 for standard leagues; comments split sharply. Supporters note his 6 straight years as QB1/2 and 22 PPG last year justify early pick for 'set and forget' peace of mind, avoiding weekly waiver stress. Detractors argue he's going round 4 in mocks and not worth the capital over late-round options; one commenter noted Allen (4.5 ADP) vs. Maye (7.4 ADP) gap doesn't match their 22 vs. 21 PPG difference. Consensus: elite floor but premium cost; viable only if available late.
On Tory Horton and Elijah Arroyo: It would be great to get more out of these guys as the article references Horton should be healthy for training camp and was in the middle of an explosive week before an injury took him out for season Ultimately think if healthy they have too many pass catching options for these two to be difference makers Arroyo is the one I have the toughest time to see because Barner is actually a very good in-line and pass catching TE, whereas Arrroyo is more of a pass ca...

The thing about any Bhayshul Tuten vs Chris Rodriguez stat is that it does not matter Pretty much none (other than volume) are predictive The only thing that can help you understand if either will be a league winner is whether one can also do rec work - that one is obvious

Hearing reports that Jadarian Price is NOT expected to have a 100% snap rate this season. Devastating for his fantasy football upside.

David Lombardi mentions how Juszczyk and Kittle are offering their guest homes to Deebo Samuel Sounds like the players would like to have him back with the 49ers Lombardi says it would be doable if it’s a min contract and more of a camp invite I think Deebo will have a bigger market than that

If the season goes awry, we could see Cade Klubnik for the Jets Sounds like the team feels like he’s good from a mechanic standpoint Take: Biggest worry for Jets O/pass catchers/Geno is that they go to Klubnik (similar to Beck in Arizona)
“The drops remain a constant concern, and it's likely something that's never going to go away…The Browns hope Monken's system, and whoever they select as their starting quarterback, can allow Jeudy to settle down and make plays the way he showed in that one record-setting season.”

I’m taking this comment about Rhamondre Stevenson from James White as a nothing burger but wanted to put it out there since people will read the article It is true that adding AJ Brown and Romeo Doubs may help take that safety in the box out a bit more and help the RBs

Not trying to quote dunk but this brings up some of my main issues with the Jadarian Price debate. For one, pattern matching is just a poor way to evaluate IMO. Every situation is different and this highlights clear outliers rather than the norm (7 examples since 2018). On that note, 4 out of 7 of these guys didn’t come near Price’s capital, so they’re pretty irrelevant here. And most of these backfields had much more established competition than 2026 Seattle does. Not to mention, I would arg...
The Seahawks are hoping for more out of second-year player Arroyo as they look to get their tight ends even more involved in the passing game.
The Seahawks are hoping for more out of second-year player Horton as they look to expand their passing game beyond Smith-Njigba and involve their tight ends more heavily.
The offseason has been filled with speculation that the Seahawks will get the ball more to Shaheed. The source notes that opposing defenses figure to try even harder to contain Smith-Njigba and make the rest of the offense beat them, suggesting increased opportunity for Shaheed.
Wilson, signed as a free agent, is expected to have a role in the Seahawks' running back committee as they replace Kenneth Walker III's production alongside Jadarian Price and George Holani.
Holani is expected to have a role in the Seahawks' running back committee as they replace Kenneth Walker III's production. The source notes that Holani seems a good fit for the third-down role, which he essentially held in the NFC title game and Super Bowl after Charbonnet's injury.
Charbonnet is recovering from an ACL injury suffered in the playoff win over the 49ers on Jan. 18. The expectation is that mid- to late October might be a best-case scenario for his return, meaning he will miss significant time at the start of the regular season.
The Seahawks spent the 32nd overall pick on Price, leading to the conclusion he will emerge as the starter by the time the regular season begins Sept. 9 against the New England Patriots. However, the source notes the Seahawks might ease him into that role as camp begins while stressing that everything must be earned, especially on the defending Super Bowl champions. Price is expected to replace Kenneth Walker III's production alongside George Holani and Emmanuel Wilson while Zach Charbonnet recovers from an ACL injury.
Smith-Njigba recorded 1,793 receiving yards last season, the eighth-most in NFL history, at just 23 years old — the second-youngest player on the list of the top 10 receiving seasons in league history. The source notes that history shows it won't be easy to top that number, as each of the top 14 receiving seasons in NFL history is by a different player. However, after last year's historic season, you'd be taking a risk to bet against him repeating or matching that production.
The Seahawks are hoping for more out of second-year player Arroyo as they look to get their tight ends more involved in the passing game. The source indicates the team is trying to get more production from Arroyo as part of their offensive strategy.
The Seahawks are hoping for more out of second-year player Horton as they look to expand their passing game beyond Smith-Njigba. The source indicates the team is trying to get more production from Horton as part of their offensive strategy.
The offseason has been filled with speculation that the Seahawks will get the ball more to Shaheed. The source indicates this is part of the team's strategy to complement Smith-Njigba's historic receiving season and get their offense more involved beyond their star receiver.
Charbonnet is recovering from an ACL injury suffered in the playoff win over the 49ers on Jan. 18. The source notes that it figures to become clearer once camp begins when Charbonnet might be back, but the expectation seems to remain that mid- to late October might be a best-case scenario for his return.
Wilson, signed as a free agent, figures to have a role in the Seahawks' running back committee approach to replace Kenneth Walker III. The source notes that a by-committee approach wouldn't make it easy for fantasy players come draft time.
Holani, a third-year player, figures to have a role in the Seahawks' running back committee approach to replace Kenneth Walker III. Holani seems a good fit for the third-down role, which he essentially held in the NFC title game and Super Bowl after Zach Charbonnet's injury. The source notes that a by-committee approach wouldn't make it easy for fantasy players come draft time.
The Seahawks spent the 32nd overall pick on Price as a first-round selection to replace Kenneth Walker III at running back. The source concludes that this draft capital leads to the easy conclusion he will emerge as the starter by the time the regular season begins Sept. 9 against the New England Patriots. However, the Seahawks might ease him into that role during camp while stressing that everything must be earned, especially on the defending Super Bowl champions.
However, after last year's historic season, the source suggests you'd be taking a risk to bet against another 1,800-yard season, despite opposing defenses figuring to try even harder to contain him.
When Worthy was out last year, Thornton had significant snap and route rates with strong yards-per-target production (10, 11, 7, 5 YPT). However, when Worthy returned, he reclaimed his job. Worthy has been terrible at working down the field with Mahomes, which is why Thornton is positioned as the deep threat going forward.
Mattek would not be totally surprised if Stefon Diggs out-targets McLaurin if Diggs signs with Washington, though he acknowledges Diggs has been a better player overall. McLaurin is much faster and will be way better down the field at this stage of their careers, and would likely outscore Diggs in that situation.
32-year-old averaging 12.3 PPG last year with 2.5 yards per route run (12th in NFL) despite not having full route share with New England Patriots (load-managed like Kawhi Leonard); returned from torn ACL earlier than anticipated. Tyreek Hill applies 'black marble' analogy—each white marble season increases odds of a cliff-fall year. Currently unsigned as of July 18 and involved in multiple lawsuits, creating uncertainty. However, Diggs is available in rounds 11–13 on DraftKings and represents strong value if he signs; when he played last year, he was awesome. Likely destination is Washington Commanders, which is a very good spot for him. Mattek is betting on Diggs not being washed and would take him at that ADP all the time.
11.9 PPG last year with a three-game stretch averaging over 20 PPG; projected 75% route share with new OC Brian Angelino (McVey/Shanahan tree) and Aaron Rodgers; better stylistic fit for Rodgers than DK Metcalf at this stage of his career. Mattek continues to buy on Pittman despite age 28-29 concerns and never being a WR1, citing market belief in older WRs like DeVonta Adams and Mike Evans.
Chris Olave has a diagnosed medical condition requiring blood clot treatment. Despite years of prior concern about concussions and medical tent visits, Olave finally had a good season last year and market concern has dissipated; no one seems to care about his contingent value anymore.
Davis Mattek ranks Jordan Tyson as the #1 WR in his SLAP model ahead of Tate and Mai Lemon. Mattek is "absolutely jamming Tyson" for multiple reasons: (1) New Orleans Saints were the unluckiest team in terms of touchdowns scored relative to their offensive volume and yards per play, suggesting positive TD regression; (2) Saints expected to be a top-5 fastest offense; (3) no tertiary WRs competing for volume (Devon Veayle, Bryce Lance, Oscar Delp, Noah Fant are all secondary options); (4) Tyson sits a "firm level above" those secondary receivers. He's going at similar ADP to Parker Washington and Marvin Harrison Jr., and Mattek prefers Tyson over Mai Lemon for year one. First-round WR at age 21 with sky-is-the-limit upside; Tyreek Hill is a definite buyer on the overall offense, Kell Moore, and Tyler Shuck, and wants to have 'bags absolutely packed' with Tyson stock.
Davis Mattek's #1 WR pick in full PPR; slots in 4th round on DraftKings and represents the "easiest pick you can make." Despite playing alongside Tyreek Hill (a Hall of Famer), Waddle has maintained above-average yards per route run and targets per route run throughout his career. In games where Hill didn't play, Waddle profiles as a WR1. Denver led the NFL in pass attempts last year, and Mattek sees no reason Waddle can't reach a 2-3 turn (or even 1-2) next year; Courtland Sutton poses no limiter to his upside. Mattek compares him to Terry McLaurin and Luther Burden at similar ADP.
Brady's 2022 Buccaneers had a very low average depth of target (ADOT), throwing short passes repeatedly to running backs and receivers like Chris Godwin as a strategic response to defensive coverage adjustments; the Buccaneers were among the most pass-heavy offenses in 20-30 years despite the short-passing approach.
Benjamin exemplifies how rule changes and defensive evolution from 2014 onward reduced the fantasy relevance of big-bodied receivers; despite a strong rookie season with 9 touchdowns in 2014, his career declined as the NFL shifted toward prioritizing athleticism over physicality, eventually forcing him to move to tight end where he faded out.
In 2022, Herbert's Chargers were among the most pass-heavy offenses in the last 20-30 years, with Herbert throwing short passes repeatedly to running back Austin Ekeler as a counter to defensive adjustments; his offense exemplified the extreme passing approach taken by teams facing the new defensive shell coverage.
Godwin was a frequent target in Brady's 2022 short-passing Buccaneers offense, receiving short passes as part of the team's strategy to counter defensive coverage shells; he was part of an offense that ranked among the most pass-heavy in 20-30 years despite the short-yardage approach.
Wilson is available more cheaply in 2026 (fourth round) than he has been since his rookie year, and cheaper than 2025, making him a value play despite the Jets situation. Davis Matic is more optimistic about the Jets with Geno Smith and their weapons than he was last year with Justin Fields. Wilson exemplifies the long view concept: he was a first-round prospect disliked for his Jets landing spot in his rookie year, making him cheaper than warranted. He had a strong rookie season with career-high yards per route run, but production has declined each year since despite strong underlying play and route running. The decline does not make sense given his underlying talent and the games watched. Context: Aaron Rodgers tore his Achilles immediately upon joining the Jets in year two of Wilson's career, preventing what was supposed to be an upgrade at QB; in year three he did play but had a tough year, and the team traded for DeVonta Adams midseason.
Loveland is a second-year player that Davis Matic is optimistic about heading into 2026; Matic recently wrote a big piece on the Bears and Loveland explaining his optimism, positioning him as a long view player with breakout potential.
Chase exemplifies the pinnacle of long view players—an elite talent whose underlying ability is so strong that he can overcome defensive game plans keying on him; despite lower ADOT than expected, he gets open consistently and produces at an elite level because defenses cannot stop him.
Bowers faced a historically poor offensive situation with the Raiders in 2025; the team had 5-7 games with 100 or fewer total air yards passing vertically—a rate dramatically higher than the rest of the league combined—due to offensive line issues, poor scheme design, and Geno Smith's inability to get the ball downfield.
Brown is finally entering a top-half pass volume offense for the first time in his career with the Patriots; his ADP has rebounded even after a poor 2025 season, exemplifying the long view concept of betting on elite underlying talent despite situational challenges.
Washington is characterized as a short view player in Jacksonville's pass-catching core; he had a great 2025 season but is more dependent on recent production than on long-term prospect pedigree or draft capital.
Wilson is characterized as a short view player in Arizona's pass-catching core; he had a great 2025 season but is more dependent on recent production than on long-term prospect pedigree or draft capital.
Harrison is positioned as a long view player in Arizona's pass-catching core; despite a tough 2025 season, he had significant draft capital and an interesting prospect profile coming out of college that supports optimism for a breakout year ahead.
Thomas Jr. is framed as a long view player in Jacksonville's pass-catching core; despite a difficult 2025 season, he carried significant draft capital and strong prospect profile credentials that justify optimism for future production.
Talented player in poor situation; Raiders offense was a disaster in 2025 with offensive line issues and inability to get the ball downfield. Team had five to seven games with 100 or fewer total air yards passing vertically—dramatically higher rate than rest of league. Geno Smith couldn't get the ball out, had happy feet, and offense was poorly conceived. Everything that could be bad about a situation was bad for Bowers last year, in addition to his injury.
Long-view player who has clearly ascended; now in improved situation with Patriots after poor 2025 season. ADP has rebounded despite the down year. For the first time in his career, he's in a top-half pass volume offense, which should unlock his elite underlying ability. Host is optimistic on him in new digs despite some debate about age.
Long-view player who had one of the most impressive seasons of his career; demonstrates the value of sticking with elite talent through rocky periods. Taylor's underlying ability—being a workhorse back with elite athletic profile tested at Wisconsin—translates to sustained production even through career downslopes. With Shane Steichen's arrival, he showed how good that talent is when situation improves.
High draft capital receiver with elite prospect profile; framework for evaluating him past short-term production struggles. The concept is to look past tough 2025 season and bet on underlying talent and college pedigree when a player has first-round draft capital and elite prospect metrics.

We get a signal from the coaches that tell us this guy isn’t ready and extrapolate that to mean he’s never going to be ready It’s on us to decipher if that means never or needs development Being a RD3+ RB you’re usually not “pro-ready” and teams don’t trust rookies as much in pass pro so your odds of getting on the field are just smaller Guys develop their game and RB is opportunity driven If Jonathan Taylor’s ankle that he’s continually had issues with flares up - we could be in on DJ Gidden...
Is Isaiah Likely on the Giants one of the best kept fantasy secrets right now? 🤔

Bullish case: elite deep threat when healthy, dominant in passing offense, could pull WR1 season repeating 2nd half 2024 performance, going towards end of 5th round, best WR talent on team (Kraft may return but Doubs gone), hamstring issues addressed through muscle imbalance work. Bearish case: injury-prone (hamstring history), boom/bust player (blow-up game then disappears), exclusive downfield threat with limited route tree, 2-4 catches per game, overshadowed by Amon-Ra, FTP bias. Consensus: smash as 3rd/4th WR, avoid as 1st/2nd; flyer-only player.
Bullish case: potential breakout year from young talented first-rounder, top performer early 2024, part of high-scoring Bears offense, Ben Johnson HC. Bearish case: foot injury reports have managers fading him, not fully healed, competing with Burden and Loveland for targets, crowded room of young pass catchers, cooled off after hot start 2024. Consensus: injury concern is primary reason for fade; even believers acknowledge foot uncertainty makes him risky at ADP.
Bullish case: part of Bears offense that will score a lot, talented first-rounder, Ben Johnson as HC, potential breakout year, showed promise late 2024. Bearish case: expensive ADP, competing for targets with Rome Odunze and Cole Loveland, unproven, need to see more from Caleb, Rome showed promise early then cooled off. Consensus: gamble between Burden/Odunze/Loveland; Burden is favorite of that trio but still risky; some reaching for him higher than warranted.
Bullish case: WR5 finish last year, 24.8% target share, 8.2 non-garbage-time targets per game, TD machine, elite separation metrics, dominated redzone looks, Stafford locks in on him, year 2 with Stafford, eternal talent. Bearish case: getting old, TD-dependent (regressed from peak efficiency), if Stafford doesn't have MVP season he won't be WR1, competing with Puka (who had strong year). Consensus: solid WR2/flex if healthy; ADP may be undervaluing him given role clarity vs. Waddle/Odunze uncertainty.
Strong bullish case: Kyle Shanahan system, redzone weapon, 25+% target share three straight years, 49ers threw 563 more yards and 7 more TDs than Bucs last year, Purdy has league-leading catchable ball rate, likely WR1 in SF with minimal competition (Kittle recovering, Aiyuk gone, Jennings gone), 8th easiest schedule. Durability: played less than 14 games only once other than last year (11-year 1000+ yard streak). Bearish case: age (getting old), last year was first subpar season, Niners injury-prone pass catchers, may be flex not WR1. Consensus: safer floor than group; hidden gem if he falls.
Bullish case: Sean Payton HC upgrade, Denver acquired him to feature him, expected 100+ targets (4 of 5 seasons), fills speed need, opens offense for Sutton. Bearish case: missed 7 games in 5 seasons (durability concern), Nix spreads ball around, average passing attack, injury history scares managers. Comments note he had 100 targets last year in 16 games; Broncos only had two 100+ target receivers total. Consensus: high upside if healthy but injury risk is real; some compare favorably to George Pickens 2024 situation.
49ers WR coach Leonard Hankerson on De’Zhaun Stribling: Talks about his versatility to play Z, X, & F Compares him to Jauan Jennings Lombardi talks about him slotting in as the F, but then getting a peak as a long term X Sounds like a player who’s going to get playing time
The Brandon Aiyuk saga continues…

Jameson Williams is the second-biggest riser in NFFC ADP, moving up 5 spots from rank 51 to 46 (WR25). This reflects increased demand for the Detroit receiver in high-stakes drafts.
Egbuka is the top riser in NFFC ADP over the past week, moving up 4 spots from rank 27 to 23 (WR11). This upward momentum in high-stakes contests reflects growing confidence in his draft value.
Tight end Tyler Warren had an impressive rookie season with the Colts, finishing the year as TE5. He was TE4 in 13 full games with Daniel Jones at the helm. Warren's Average Draft Position is TE4, but his production with Jones at peak efficiency suggests he could outperform that ADP if Jones returns healthy.
With Daniel Jones at the helm of the Colts' record-setting offense, Jonathan Taylor finished the season as RB4 but was RB2 through Week 14 when Jones went down. The Colts averaged over 31 points per game through their first eight contests with Jones, and 28.1 points per game through Week 14. Taylor is being drafted as RB4, but his production with Jones at peak efficiency suggests he could outperform that ADP if Jones returns healthy.
Jones resurrected his career with the Colts in 2025, leading Indianapolis to record-setting offensive performance. Through 10 weeks when Colts were 8-2, Jones led the NFL in passing yards and was top six in completion percentage and yards per attempt. He finished with 261 of 384 passes (career-best 68 percent completion rate) for 3,101 yards, 19 TDs, and 8 INTs, plus 5 rushing TDs. Although he was QB10 when season ended in Week 14, he was QB5 over first 10 games. With Jones at helm, Colts averaged over 31 points per game through first eight contests and 28.1 points per game through Week 14. Jones progressed to 7-on-7 work during offseason and expects to do everything at camp: "I'm doing everything. Cleared to do everything." Underrated Quarterbacks ranks Jones QB16, expecting that ranking to rise if he's working fully when camp opens. Investing an 11th-round pick to land him as second QB could pay off significantly given his peak efficiency and the Colts' offensive production.
Willis was acquired by the Dolphins in free agency and has demonstrated elite rushing upside. In three games with Green Bay where he played at least 80 percent of snaps, Willis averaged 23.3 fantasy points, 7 carries, nearly 60 rushing yards, and 1 rushing touchdown per game—a pace that would exceed 100 rushing attempts over 17 games. His 6.2 yards-per-rush mark would rank fourth among passers with 100-plus dropbacks over the past two seasons (behind Murray, Mayfield, and Rattler); his 13 percent scramble rate and 11.8 percent explosive run rate would lead all QBs. Ben Solak noted Willis is a legitimate threat with the ball. Underrated Quarterbacks ranks Willis conservatively at QB20 but notes that quarterbacks threatening 100 rushing attempts don't need elite passing to become elite fantasy options. Drafting Willis as QB21 in the 10th round could yield huge dividends.
Murray is believed to have a slight edge over McCarthy in the Vikings QB competition because of elite running ability and capability of varying pass speeds and trajectories. If the season began today, multiple observers indicated Murray would likely be the starter. Assuming he beats out McCarthy, Murray will work with Justin Jefferson, Jordan Addison, Jauan Jennings, and T.J. Hockenson, plus his rushing ability could find him in the weekly QB1 mix. Underrated Quarterbacks's QB17 ranking reflects his ADP, but ranking expected to rise as clarity on starting assignment emerges this summer.
Assuming Murray wins the Vikings' QB competition, he will work with Justin Jefferson, Jordan Addison, Jauan Jennings, and T.J. Hockenson. Combined with his rushing ability, the 29-year-old could find his way into the weekly QB1 mix. Underrated Quarterbacks's QB17 ranking reflects his current ADP, but expects the ranking to rise as clarity on the starting assignment emerges during training camp and preseason.
Murray appears to be the frontrunner in the Vikings' QB competition with J.J. McCarthy. ESPN's Kevin Seifert reports Murray has a slight edge due to his elite running ability and capability of varying pass speeds and trajectories. However, both players split reps with the first-team offense at OTAs, and McCarthy has demonstrated a firmer grasp of the Vikings' complex offensive scheme in recent weeks. Head coach Kevin O'Connell will not take the entirety of camp and preseason to make his decision. Multiple observers indicate Murray would likely be the starter if the season began today, but McCarthy could change that.
Murray is one of five players in NFL history to throw for 20,000+ yards and run for 3,000+ yards in seven seasons. He finished each of his first six NFL seasons as a top-12 fantasy QB on a PPG basis and has 32 rushing TDs. In five seasons playing 8+ games, he averaged 91.8 carries, 456 rushing yards, and 4.5 rushing TDs per season. His 2020 QB2 campaign (891 rushing yards, 11 TDs on 133 carries) demonstrates his rushing ceiling. Since 2014, 31 of 34 QBs (90%+) with 100+ rushing attempts finished as top-12 fantasy QBs on PPG basis. Murray is available as QB17 in Round 9, well below his historical production level.
Despite finishing QB2 in 2025, Stafford is priced as QB12 ADP in the seventh round and ranked QB14 on Footballguys projections, well below his finish. Underrated Quarterbacks ranks him QB10. He has limited rushing equity (65 or fewer rushing yards in five straight seasons, one rushing TD since 2017), but elite outcomes remain possible. With Puka Nacua and Davante Adams as dominant receivers, a strong offensive line, an effective rushing attack, and Sean McVay as one of the league's most innovative and aggressive playcallers, Stafford has everything needed for another high-end season. Even a step back from QB2 would make him a bargain at current cost.
Stafford lost 42.15 expected points added to drops in 2025, the fifth-highest total in the league per FTN Charting data. He ranked behind only Dak Prescott (70.15), Trevor Lawrence (67.58), Jared Goff (66.7), and Cam Ward (56.8). Had even half of those drops been secured, his already top-five efficiency numbers would have been even more dominant, suggesting his 2025 production was constrained by receiver execution rather than his own performance.
Stafford had arguably the best season of his career in 2025, winning his first MVP award and leading the Rams to the NFC Championship Game. He completed 65% for 4,707 yards (league-leading) and 46 TDs with 8 INTs, delivering nine top-10 fantasy weeks (tied for third-most at position) despite being drafted as QB25. He finished as QB2 overall, his first top-10 finish since 2019.
Despite regression concerns on rushing TDs, Lawrence is priced as QB11 ADP in the seventh round, well below his QB4 finish. Underrated Quarterbacks ranks him QB5 on Footballguys rankings. Even with regression, he should remain a high-volume passer and rusher, and his second season with Coen (who has a notoriously complex system that laid the foundation in 2025) offers trajectory upside. A deep group of talented pass catchers with demonstrated chemistry provides further confidence. At current price, Lawrence doesn't need to repeat QB4 to return value.
Lawrence's nine rushing TDs in 2025 more than doubled his combined output from the previous two seasons. SI.com's Michael Fabiano and Footballguys' Jason Wood both flag regression risk: only eight QBs since 2000 have rushed for 9+ TDs in a season (Josh Allen, Jalen Hurts, Cam Newton, Kyler Murray, Mike Vick, Daunte Culpepper), making Lawrence an outlier. Wood recommends cutting rushing TD projections in half as a baseline, though Lawrence should remain a high-volume passer and rusher given his top-10 finishes in both attempts over four full seasons.
Lawrence finished 2025 as QB4 with 342.2 fantasy points (20.1 PPG), but was QB1 from Weeks 10-17 with 24 total TDs in an eight-game stretch. He completed 60.9% for 4,007 yards, 29 passing TDs, 12 INTs, plus career highs in carries (82), rushing yards (359), and rushing TDs (9) for 38 total TDs (third-best in NFL). Jaguars averaged 33.6 PPG in that stretch and won the AFC South before a wild-card loss.
