Pride Of Detroit on Lawrence Keys

Keys is source's top recommendation to replace Kennedy with UFL experience in both return types.

Recorded 18 punt returns for 229 yards and 39 kickoff returns for 942 yards across two UFL seasons. The source identifies Keys as the standout name on the Lions' practice squad, noting he has significant experience returning both kickoffs and punts with recent experience in the dynamic kickoff format that the NFL adopted. The source's verdict is that Keys is 'perhaps the easiest option to replace Kennedy's production as a kickoff and punt returner' and 'the most obvious solution for the Lions.' Keys was re-signed on September 30 and the Lions signed him outright despite no injury concerns, suggesting they like his ability.
