As for the Lions, they worked out wide receiver Lawrence Keys on Tuesday. If that name sounds familiar, he was one of the four UFL receivers Detroit signed this offseason, along with Tay Martin, Tarik Black, and Lucky Jackson. Keys never really got a chance to make the Lions' roster, as he was cut with an injury settlement in early August.

Lions work out Keys after UFL signing and early-August injury settlement.

Keys was one of four UFL receivers Detroit signed in the offseason alongside Tay Martin, Tarik Black, and Lucky Jackson. He was cut with an injury settlement in early August and never got a real chance to make the Lions' roster. The Lions worked him out on Tuesday, suggesting either continued interest in his development or a health check on his hamstring injury as the injury settlement duration has elapsed.
