Yahoo Sports NFL on Jared Goff

Goff faced heavy blitzing but benefited from strong running game support.

Quarterback Jared Goff faced heavy blitzing from Minnesota but the Lions' running game helped ease the pressure. Goff even got out to block for Jahmyr Gibbs on Gibbs's touchdown run. Despite the heavy blitzing, Goff allowed the Lions' offense to be too much for the Vikings to slow down. However, the Lions' offensive line allowed four sacks on Goff in the game.
