Goff had a subpar day against Minnesota's blitz-heavy defense. He took too many ill-timed sacks, struggling to sense pressure and throw the ball away in time. Beyond pressure, Goff was uncharacteristically inaccurate: he slightly overthrew St. Brown in the endzone (overturned TD), turfed an easy swing pass to Gibbs that would have been a touchdown, and missed Williams for a sure-fire first down in the third quarter. He also missed LaPorta on third down in the fourth quarter (though that play would have been overturned due to a hold).
