Pride Of Detroit on Jared Goff
Article11 winners, 8 losers from Detroit Lions’ win over the Minnesota Vikings
From the article
It was a subpar day for Goff, and I'm hardly factoring in his first interception of the season (a play in which his receiver fell down). In a game where the Vikings were bringing pressure nearly every snap, Goff looked out of sorts.

Goff struggled with pressure and accuracy but avoided self-destruction with late-game heroics.
QB had a subpar performance against Minnesota's blitz-heavy defense, taking too many ill-timed sacks and struggling to sense pressure and throw the ball away in time. Goff was uncharacteristically inaccurate, including an overthrow of St. Brown in the endzone (overturned TD), a turfed swing pass to Gibbs that would have been an easy touchdown, and a missed first-down opportunity to Williams in the third quarter. He limited turnovers to one interception (a play where his receiver fell down) and delivered a sharp touchdown throw to Williams in the fourth quarter, but acknowledged he was not at his best on Sunday.
