26

A.J. Brown

NegativeInjury46:48

AJ Brown is probably still out for the Patriots-Jets game, limiting New England's offensive weapons and explosiveness in a matchup where the Jets' secondary can hang and avoid being picked apart.

Insight page

Braelon Allen

PositiveRole47:12

Braylon Allen can run the ball effectively for the Jets against the Patriots, keeping the game close in a low-scoring matchup. The Jets' young offensive line has been pretty solid, supporting a ground-game-focused approach.

Insight page

Bryce Young

PositiveProjection14:00

Bryce Young has a passing yards escalator against Philadelphia. Young is one of the worst in the league against man coverage but smashes against zone coverage, and the Eagles' Fangio scheme is very zone-heavy. Young is averaging 317 yards per game this season and has recorded 287 or more passing yards in all four games. The Eagles' defense has allowed 298 passing yards in their last three games, the second-most in the league. The passing yards line is set at 227.5 at one book (way off market), with escalators at 250 yards (plus 155) and 275 yards (plus 285). Brandon notes the line varies significantly across books, with some as high as 245, and recommends shopping for the best line.

Insight page

C.J. Stroud

PositiveProjection6:00

CJ Stroud is playing really good football and will be forced to pass frequently against Jacksonville due to David Montgomery being out and the Jaguars' excellent run defense. Stroud is playing top 11 DVOA overall with a top 11 offense and defense. The Texans have only turned the ball over twice this year, which is significant for their offensive success. Stroud's passing game will be the primary offensive weapon, and Jacksonville's defense, while strong, makes their living off red zone stops and turnovers, which are unsustainable long-term.

Insight page

Christian Watson

PositiveUsage25:05

Watson has emerged as the Packers' red zone go-to receiver with six touchdowns already in five games; he's posted 143-yard and 147-yard games plus three 96-yard performances with long catches; his touchdown prop at +135 (DraftKings) and two-score prop at +950 are underpriced relative to his scoring volume, which books have not fully caught up to.

Insight page

David Montgomery

NegativeInjury10:00

David Montgomery is out for the Texans, forcing Houston to rely on passing. Brandon notes that with Montgomery out and Jacksonville's run defense being excellent, the Texans will not run the ball effectively and will need to pass, which plays into CJ Stroud's strengths but also exposes Houston's weak offensive line.

Insight page

DeVonta Smith

NegativeInjury14:00

DeVonta Smith is likely to miss the Eagles-Panthers game. Brandon notes the Eagles are probably missing both Saquon and Devante Smith, adding to Philadelphia's injury woes heading into a game against a rested Panthers team coming off a bye week.

Insight page

Drake Maye

NegativeMatchup47:20

Drake May faces a Jets secondary that has been pretty good and is cooking under Aaron Glenn's defensive play-calling. The secondary, with stabilized veterans and breakout young players, should be able to hang and not get picked apart by May the way a few other teams have.

Insight page

Jalen Hurts

NegativeInjury15:00

Jalen Hurts is out for the Eagles-Panthers game with blood clots, a concerning injury that suggests a longer-term absence. Brandon notes this is a scary-sounding injury and speculates there is a non-zero chance the Eagles have seen Hurts for the last time in an Eagles uniform, suggesting this could be a serious, potentially season-ending or career-altering situation. Tanner McKee will start in his place.

Insight page

Jalon Daniels

PositiveMatchup50:48

Jalen Daniels is expected to start for the Buccaneers against the Steelers (Baker Mayfield likely out). In a windy, low-scoring game, Daniels benefits from Tampa Bay's better offensive line and run-game focus. The Bucs' superior offensive line helps negate the Steelers' pass rush, giving Daniels a better shot in a game that should favor ground-oriented play.

Insight page

Jonathan Taylor

PositiveMatchup48:48

Jonathan Taylor is the ideal running back to target against the Titans, who give up running back stats at an elite rate. Taylor has dominated this matchup historically: 29 carries for 218 yards and 3 TDs; 17 for 102 and 3 TDs; 12 for 153 and 3 TDs in his last three games against Tennessee. He has scored three touchdowns three consecutive times against the Titans. Taylor already has three multi-touchdown games this season; eight of the Colts' 11 offensive scores are rushing; he has scored in 13 of his last 20 games, with eight of those 13 being multi-touchdown performances. When he scores, he usually scores multiple times.

Insight page

Jordan Love

PositiveProjection20:44

Love has posted three 300-yard games with two touchdowns in each so far this season; against Dallas's poor defense, he's expected to attack downfield aggressively as he has been, with the Packers-Cowboys matchup featuring the highest total of the week (53.5) and fastest tempo, creating favorable conditions for high-volume passing.

Insight page

Justin Herbert

NegativeRole42:12

Herbert looks absolutely lost right now; his mind game is gone. The Chargers are rumored to potentially replace offensive coordinator Mike McDaniel with Adam Gase running the offense, signaling serious concerns about Herbert's performance and decision-making.

Insight page

Kenneth Walker III

NegativeUsage42:42

Kenneth Walker is the Chiefs' potential big-play threat in an otherwise limited offensive arsenal. The team may rely on him to generate explosive plays in a game expected to feature grinding, low-scoring football.

Insight page

Kirk Cousins

PositiveMatchup33:54

Cousins and the Raiders offense are positioned to hurt the Bills defense, which has regressed significantly this year; the Bills' defense is near the bottom of the league in pass defense metrics and is vulnerable to tight ends and explosive plays after being elite against tight ends last year; Cousins can exploit these weaknesses on a short week for Buffalo.

Insight page

Marvin Harrison Jr.

NegativeRole11:00

Marvin Harrison Jr. was recently traded to the Texans but has unknown playing time and route assignments. Brandon cautions against playing Harrison Jr. in props, noting that Houston has many receiving options now and it is unclear what role Harrison will have in the offense. He suggests waiting for clarity on Harrison's usage before targeting him in fantasy bets.

Insight page

Matthew Golden

PositiveUsage25:39

Golden has posted 95+ yards in three games, with at least one 40+ yard catch in each; Dallas has allowed 14 catches of 40+ yards over the last year, including a 46-yarder to Golden in their last meeting; his longest-catch prop (40+ yards) at +350 offers value, and his correlation with Watson's big games (both had strong performances in Weeks 1, 3, and 5) suggests both can produce simultaneously against Dallas's weak defense.

Insight page

Nico Collins

PositiveProjection5:00

Nico Collins has a receiving yards escalator versus Jacksonville in the London game. Collins shreds Jacksonville's defense, which is top 10 in man coverage but Collins is a top 10 receiver in the league against man coverage. Against man, his target share, yards per route run, and targets per route run all increase 50% or more. In his last five games against Jacksonville, Collins averaged 8.5 catches and 123 yards on 12 targets, with all five games reaching 100 yards or better (7 for 136, 8 for 119, 8 for 104, 12 for 151, 7 for 104). The escalator is set at over 69.5 receiving yards at minus 114, with additional escalators at 100 yards (plus 270), 125 yards (plus 580), and 150 yards (plus 1329).

Insight page

Pat Freiermuth

PositiveMatchup51:12

Pat Freiermuth is well-positioned against the Buccaneers, who have a consistent weakness attacking the middle of the field. The Bucs have allowed top-10 most fantasy points to tight ends for four straight years, with three catches to a tight end 22 times in 22 games since the start of last season; four or more in 14 games; five or more in almost half. Over 3.5 catches for Freiermuth is priced at plus 130, with an escalator to plus 270 for five catches.

Insight page

Patrick Mahomes

NegativeInjury42:00

Mahomes tore his knee in the second Chargers-Chiefs matchup last season, which was referenced as context for the rivalry's history and the Chiefs' motivation in their upcoming Week 6 matchup.

Insight page
NegativeProjection43:00

Mahomes' home unders as a favorite since 2022 show a 23-8 record to the under (74%), a key trend supporting low-scoring outcomes in Chiefs games. This pattern reflects the team's grinding, clock-chewing offensive approach with slow drives rather than explosive scoring.

Insight page

Rashee Rice

NegativeInjury42:30

Rasheed Rice does not appear to be back for the Chiefs-Chargers game, contributing to Kansas City's receiver depth issues and offensive juice concerns.

Insight page

Saquon Barkley

NegativeInjury14:00

Saquon Barkley is likely to miss the Eagles-Panthers game. Brandon notes the Eagles are probably missing both Saquon and Devante Smith, adding to Philadelphia's injury woes heading into a game against a rested Panthers team coming off a bye week.

Insight page

Tanner McKee

NegativeRole15:00

Tanner McKee will start at quarterback for the Eagles against the Panthers with Jalen Hurts out due to blood clots. This represents a significant change for Philadelphia's offense, adding uncertainty to game preparation for both teams.

Insight page

TreVeyon Henderson

NegativeInjury45:54

Trevion Henderson is missing for the Patriots, removing the team's explosiveness in the running game against the Jets.

Insight page

Tyquan Thornton

NegativeInjury42:30

Tyquan Thornton is out for the Chiefs-Chargers game, further depleting Kansas City's receiver options and limiting offensive explosiveness.

2:45Oh my God, that's incredible! Big bank, small bank, I like to make money.
2:50All right. That is the ultimate kibosh. You want to bet?
2:53And we are under... The Action Network Podcast, and this is Brandon Anderson's Playground, presented by DraftKings.
2:58I'm your host, Matt Moore. Glad to have you guys with us.
3:02Brandon is the most fun bettor you could possibly tail in the entire wide world of betting.
3:07There's nobody that you're going to have more fun tailing.
3:10And, as a great bonus, you know, he's also unbelievably profitable because he is the czar of ROI.
3:16We're going to get to all sorts of plays going up and down the ladders this week.
3:21We'll talk about his favorite plays. We'll get to a conversation about our contest plays for the week, as well as our four-square parlay.
3:29I hate this slate. I hate it. I hate it with a burning passion.
3:33So I'm excited to hear how Brandon's going to navigate this slate.
3:37Brandon, how did we do last week? And how are your bets doing on the year?
3:42Yeah, we did all right last week. You know I love to text you on a Sunday night the screenshot of the whole, like, 4-23 plus .04 units.
3:50That was kind of our classic last Sunday where we lost a bunch of the longer shot ones.
3:56We hit a couple of the big ones, finished up about 1.7 units on the week.
4:01That's still a 10% ROI, 11% actually. So that is our fourth of five weeks.
4:06We've had at least a 10% ROI. That's what we're at on the season, right at 10% plus 7.25 units.
4:12That one, a really, really rough week in there.
4:15But we have inched our way back and we'll hopefully get another good weekend here to come.
4:20I mean, I just think it's like, I think that with your style of betting, it's actually kind of perfect.
4:26You've been profitable four out of five weeks. The fifth week was an apocalypse.
4:31But the other four weeks have been really fun and profitable.
4:34So we head along the merry-go-round here on the playground.
4:37Shoot some ladders, really, as it's ups and downs.
4:40But mostly, it's lots of fun. Going up. I'll meet you at the bottom.
4:44Let's get into some ladders. Let's not waste any time.
4:47And you're going to start off going to Sunday Night Football.
4:51And you like Nico Collins. It's not Sunday Night Football.
4:54This is the London game. I'm insane. Nico Collins with a receiving yards escalator versus the Jags in London.
5:00Yeah, you don't understand my acronym. SMF? Am I the only one doing SMF for Sunday Morning Football?
5:05Oh, Sunday Morning Football. That's a thing, right? I know that's just my own abbreviation.
5:10Don't ever put that on the rundown again. Don't ever do that.
5:14You're banned. Go ahead. Yeah, I'm covering the Sunday Morning Games.
5:17We've got a full preview that will be up for just this game.
5:21So let's talk just the game first. That's a really interesting one.
5:25Texans, Jaguars. This is a second straight, quote, home game for the Jaguars in London.
5:30I know we joke about how they're kind of home in London.
5:33But actually, this is really a disappointing spot for Jacksonville that you have a division home game coming without your division home field advantage.
5:41From Enfelo, Jacksonville has the best home field advantage the last five years.
5:45So I think the talk this week is going to be about, well, it's Jacksonville's second straight London game.
5:51What's that mean? We don't really know yet. We've had two samples so far.
5:55It worked really well both times. Jacksonville won and covered by nine both times.
6:00I don't know what that sample means. Probably not much yet.
6:03I do know that Jacksonville is not the home team here.
6:06So they're probably losing two, two and a half points of the spread of value here.
6:11That's about seven or 10% win probability loss. That's significant in a matchup where I think these are both good teams.
6:18I'm not that far apart. I know how you feel about the Texans, Matt.
6:22I think they're a pretty good team. They're now top 11 DVOA overall, top 11 offense and defense both now.
6:29That's significant. The defense has clawed its way back up.
6:32The offense has been slowly getting better. I think the biggest mismatch in this game is Jacksonville's offensive line up against Will Anderson, Daniil Hunter.
6:39Jags are missing Anton Harrison, probably their best offensive lineman.
6:43This is now a bottom three offensive line against the best pass rush in the league.
6:47And Jacksonville hasn't really faced a great pass rush yet.
6:51So this is a big new test for them.
6:53We love Liam Cohen. I still do. But in his time with Jacksonville, he's only had four games with a 25th percentile or below EPA per play.
7:02Two of those were last year's games against the Texans.
7:05This is a defense that has been able to slow down Jacksonville.
7:09On the other side, Jacksonville's defense, I think still is a bit on not fraud alert, but just maybe not elite alert.
7:15They make their living off of red zone stops and turnovers.
7:19And that is unsustainable long term. Houston has only turned it over twice this year.
7:24If they don't turn it over, I think they will move the ball on this defense.
7:29CJ Stroud is playing really good football. These teams have played five straight one score games, Matt.
7:34So I have this pretty close to a coin flip.
7:37My main bet is going to be on a prop here.
7:40But for side in total, I think Houston plus two and a half is the side.
7:45But if you like that, I think you should like the money line better.
7:50But if you like that, even better. On Tuesday, we gave this out.
7:54Now, finally, this is the time to get your Texans plus 650 division ticket in.
7:58If they win this game, they get the tie break on Jacksonville.
8:02Also, there's suddenly a game and a half back after this awful start with the Giants, Chargers, Browns, and Colts on deck.
8:09That suddenly looks like six and four in a brand new race.
8:13They have to get this game. If you don't like it, don't play the division ticket here.
8:18I think you lean under also 42 and a half.
8:21This is the slowest pace game of the weekend.
8:24Looks windy and drizzly in London. What else is new?
8:27Windy under 61% the last five years. D'Amico rode under 17 and 10.
8:31Jags under is four and one this year. So I think you look under.
8:35I think you look Texans. I will be looking at a prop play as my main angle.
8:41But Matt, what do you think about the matchup here in a pretty big one in the AFC?
8:46Yeah, look, I planned a flag and was like, nope, I think the Texans are bad.
8:51I am going to go ahead and bet the Titans here at a big number.
8:56And they got obliterated. So I am not somebody that is going to be like, nope, I still think.
9:02No, OK, I was wrong. Texans are good. That's fine.
9:05Brandon's right. The stupid DVO is always right. Results don't matter.
9:08Eat at Arby's. I concede. I also am kind of with you where this is minus two and a half.
9:15I don't know what you could possibly give Jacksonville for a home field advantage here.
9:19The rest advantage with not traveling. I guess a point and a half, maybe a point, maybe a point.
9:25I gave it half a point in mine. I think.
9:28Let's do a half a point then. So if it's half a point, then this is two.
9:34That means the Jags are two points better on neutral than this Texans team that everyone has made that every smart person has maintained is actually awesome.
9:42And that doesn't matter that they keep losing that.
9:45That's fine. I relent. So I'm with you on this on the Texans behind the side here.
9:50I'm going to bet the Texans here. I'm with you.
9:53For what it's worth. I think Jacksville is second in DVOA.
9:57So we're going to do the DVOA is we got to give Jacksville their credit, too.
10:02But for me, the matchup here is CJ Stroud in the passing game because Houston can't run the ball at all.
10:08They have not run the ball well this season, even as the passing game has gotten better.
10:13David Montgomery is out and Jacksville's run defense is awesome.
10:17So they're not going to run the ball. I'm not sure they're going to try to run the ball that much.
10:23They're going to pass the ball. Jacksville top five passing attempts allowed a second straight season.
10:28Do you know, as good as this Jaguars defense is, they're the only team in the league that has allowed over a
10:35thousand yards to wide receivers so far. They've allowed five receivers to hit 70 yards or more already, five games.
10:41And that's despite no A.J. Brown, no Jamar Chase, no Devante Smith.
10:45They ducked all those guys in their matchups and they've been playing Bo Nix and Jalen Hurts and Deshaun Watson.
10:51Not exactly a daunting stretch. And they're still allowing hefty wide receiver yards.
10:55So I know that you may hear that and think, OK, who did we just trade for?
11:00Marvin Harrison Jr., here we go. This is not the time to play Marvin Harrison Jr.
11:05Unknown playing time. We don't know what routes he's going to run.
11:09Houston actually has a bunch of guys now. So we don't know necessarily what he's going to do.
11:15I wouldn't get cute with that. If he's out there, whoever is out there, it's just freeing up even more for Nico Collins who shreds this Jacksonville defense.
11:23They're top 10 in man. He is a great, great against man.
11:27A top 10 receiver in the league against man coverage.
11:30Against man, his target share, yards per route run and targets per route run all go up 50% or more.
11:36Last five games against Jacksonville. Seven catches, 104. 12, 151.
11:40Eight, 119. Eight for 104 and seven for 136.
11:42All five games. 100 yards or better. Average eight and a half catches, 123 yards on 12 targets.
11:48Here we go. Nico Collins escalator over 69 and a half receiving yards at minus 114.
11:53I can't believe that line is that low. We just need 70 to hit that one.
11:58And we'll go 100, 125 and 150 yards. That is at plus 270, plus 580 and plus 1329.
12:04And hope we get another huge, huge Nico Collins game to start our Sunday morning.
12:08Very quickly, do you have where you have the Jags or I'm sorry, the Texans offensive line ranked and Jags defensive line?
12:15I don't have a Jags defensive line ranking. I have it like separated in a pass rush and interior.
12:21It's fine. I think slightly below average. The pass rush is solid.
12:25Texans offensive line has not been great. Not much better than Jacksonville.
12:28It's not really come together. So I think I have them like fifth or sixth lowest still.
12:34So I love that. So, I mean, I think there's, I think there's like, it's an interesting angle because I think there's,
12:41it's kind of a, like it's a gamble. I think in some regards, um, better day, which is when I use their
12:47trench reports got it basically 15 Jags, um, or Texans offensive line versus 16 Jags pass rush.
12:53Um, so that feels very much like, oh, that's like a coin flip.
12:57And if they get home, then, you know, you've got tighter windows, but that also means if they're sending more help, it might be longer throws.
13:05Like there's balance here. I think to kind of get into.
13:08So, um, yeah, Nico Collins over 69 and a half and ride the Texans wagon as well as an under, uh, interesting.
13:15So you wouldn't probably not recommend doing an SGP on the Collins over in the under, I would assume.
13:21Right. Um, no, I think that that's all right.
13:24I'm not going to play them together, but, uh, yeah, when, when I give out angles, I will put into the app,
13:31the under as a bat, more of a lean, probably like a half unit.
13:35Um, but if I, I like Houston, I like the under, I like the Nico play.
13:40I'm not going to get out angles that I think are disparate from each other.
13:45So I think you can put those together if you like, I don't, I don't find that necessarily correlated or giving me a real edge here.
13:53And I'm not usually looking to just build parlays just to get the big hit.
13:57I'm putting them together if I think that there's an edge to be had.
14:02So I don't, I don't hate it, but I don't love it either.
14:06Just wind your perspective on it. Okay. Those poor Eagles, those poor, poor Eagles take it on the care.
14:12They're, they're home dogs, the Panthers, which is Jesus, how the mighty have fallen.
14:16Uh, and it seems like you think it might get worse because you think Bryce young is going to throw all over this team.
14:24Yeah. Who would have thought that we'd get six weeks into the year and I'd have a Bryce young passing yards escalator
14:30on the dock, but here we go. This is one of the weirdly intriguing games of the week.
14:36It's another awful scheduling spot. I don't know why the NFL is doing this where the Eagles are back from London, no rest.
14:43Carolina is off a bye week. So at least Philly is at home, but Philadelphia is banged up here.
14:49The Panthers are all nice and arrested. The Eagles are probably missing Saquon and Devante again here.
14:54It looks like they might be without Jalex Hunt and or Grenard.
14:58They're two pass rushers. Looks like center Drew Kendall might be out.
15:02He would be their fourth presumed offensive line starter missing, factoring in the trades and the retirement, everything else.
15:08And then breaking news as we are hitting record here a couple of hours ago, Jalen Hurts is not playing in this game.
15:15Jalen Hurts is out with honestly scary sounding anytime you have blood clots involved.
15:19My guess is that that is not a short term thing.
15:23It looks like Tanner McKee going forward in Philadelphia.
15:25Eagles fans, careful what you wish for. I I'm just going to say this, man.
15:30I think there's a non-zero chance we have seen Jalen Hurts for the last time in an Eagles uniform.
15:36I think that that is a real possibility that that's how bad that this could go for this team.
15:42So I want to just back the Hot Panthers team.
15:45But the line before the season was Philly six and a half.
15:49Now it's Carolina minus three and a half. So as a 10 point move, these are two of probably the biggest market
15:56move teams in the league, obviously in opposite directions.
15:58Mentioned DVOA. Carolina's top 10 by DVOA. Top 10 offensively.
16:01Idzig has this thing cooking. But I'm still kind of skeptical.
16:05Here's the offense against the Bears so far and the Lions.
16:08We know they're terrible. The Browns have been fine.
16:11The Falcons have been a good defense, but had Cooper Rush in that game.
16:15So that's not even a real game. There's a chance this Carolina thing might just be fake after a month.
16:22I'm not totally sold on it yet. And to be fair, it's kind of hard to prepare for an opponent that has so many unknowns.
16:29We don't know if Saquon will play or Devante will play.
16:33And now Jalen Hurts to Tanner McKee. A pretty big swing is how you're prepping for this team.
16:38Panthers have injuries on the line at cornerback. I don't really know if he can take advantage of them.
16:44If you want just a game angle, I think second half Panthers make sense.
16:49They're 3-1 ATS second half. And the Eagles are 0-5.
16:52And man, search the second half Eagles offense on Twitter or Google or wherever.
16:56You find some ghastly numbers there. So, Matt, is the bottom falling out on the Eagles team?
17:02Has it fallen out? Is this it? Is it still going?
17:05They play NFC East teams the next three games after this.
17:08If you don't have Hurts and you don't have some of these dudes like this, this could start getting ugly fast.
17:15I'll get to the Bryce Young at all. But where are you at on this Philly team?
17:20I mean, I had thrown them into the four square parlay options later on because I was like, come on!
17:26Like, surely there's a bottom here. It's the Eagles!
17:29And then, like, that hurts news. I'm like, oh no, there is no bottom.
17:34Oh no. So, yeah, I would like to retract that option from the four square parlay.
17:39I mean, I just think, look, I am kind of wondering if some teams are just unbettable.
17:44If they're just unbettable. At least for right now.
17:47And I, the, with what you're suggesting, it's definitely a year from hell.
17:51And when those teams go sideways, it just goes all the way sideways and doesn't get better until like week 13 or 14.
17:58Yeah. And then they kind of like recover and are like, all right, we got some momentum going in the next year.
18:05It's never all bad forever, but it does feel like it's going to get worse before it gets better with the Eagles.
18:12Yeah. And you've got buckets launching with NBA next week.
18:15We see the year from hell teams there too.
18:17We're just like, once it goes sideways, it's just all, all bad.
18:21So catch buckets on that next week. My research on these teams coming back from London has consistently shown that the thing
18:28you want to attack is the other team scoring points because you get the tired defense, your entire team coming home.
18:35So I looked at Panthers team total over again.
18:37I don't know how much I trust Carolina. Like there is a, there's a world, Matt.
18:42I could, I will not be surprised at all.
18:45If this ends up being like Eagles 24, three, the defense finally got their act together.
18:50Carolina was exposed and filled up. You won with the backup.
18:53We've seen that happening this season, the backup quarterbacks, like that is in a play, but I want to attack with this Bryce young offense.
19:01This was a play for me before the hurts injury.
19:04I think actually I might like it slightly less actually with the hurts injury, just because it's a wonky game now, but
19:11Bryce young is one of the worst in the league against man, but he smashes against zone.
19:17And Fangio scheme is very zone heavy. Jalen Coker is especially good against zone.
19:21He's back now. Eagles defense as good as we think they are.
19:25Last three games, 298 passing yards. Second most in the league.
19:28Bryce young is averaging 317 yards a game. That is crazy for the season, a month and 287 or more, all four games.
19:35So here's the number 227 and a half at one book way off market.
19:40I've seen as high as 245 at others. So be sure to shop around, get your best line.
19:45I'll take the over there and we'll take advantage at the same spot.
19:49250 yards, plus 155, 275 yards at plus 285.
19:52And look, I just think whether the Panthers are ahead because of Bryce young or passing from behind, I think he's going
19:59to be able to find some answers. And it's a game that I don't really can't say I'm excited to watch, but
20:06I am intrigued to see what happened as the outcome of it, because man, I don't know what's happening with either of these teams.
20:13The whiplash of where we started with the rookie years of Bryce young and CJ Stroud to where we are now.
20:20I'm still kind of like, really? Like none of that was real.
20:23Like nothing that happened that season was it was all a simulation.
20:27It was just all Madden. That's all. It was it was real.
20:31It's just that he Bryce young has gotten progressively like 12% better each year, but he started so low that hasn't really mattered yet.
20:38He was like QB 40. And then eventually after like three years, he was like, okay, you're QB 30.
20:44Now, congrats. You have a starting quarterback, but not one you want.
20:48And I had him, I think, rank like QB 25 coming into this season, which is still like, yeah, we'd really like to replace you.
20:56We'd really prefer a real quarterback on our team.
20:59He's not been QB 25 so far. He's been so far just this month.
21:03We've seen top 10 easily top 10, probably top five so far.
21:07And I can't buy him jumping that far because that is a lot more than 12%.
21:12But it does seem like he's been unlocked in this.
21:15It's like offense. You should definitely do a tier system of quarterbacks that is ranks them on how serious they are because like you rank everybody.
21:23But I think I feel like for you, especially you need like, no, no, like you're above this line.
21:29You're a serious NFL quarterback. If you're below this line, look, you're not the worst in the league, but you are not serious people.
21:36I think that's like, I mean, for me, that line, if I gave you my QB rankings, I can just tell you
21:43right now that line of demarcation is going to be like 18 or 22, somewhere in that range.
21:49I'll call it the Ryan Tannehill line because for many years, Tannehill was like 22nd right there.
21:54And it was like, okay, we can win without you.
21:57We can win in spite of you. We can win with you, but we're not going to win because of you.
22:04And look, Tannehill got better later on too. Tannehill had a pretty great stretch late in his career.
22:09But like, that's kind of where I stick like the, the, the Jared Goffs, the Sam Darnold of the world, the game manager type tier.
22:17I think we've advanced past game manager now, like half the quarterbacks in the league are game managers, but I think that's the number.
22:24So if you're below 22, which I had priced at 25, I'm basically just taking a dump on you as a quarterback.
22:31It's one of your favorite things to do. All right.
22:34Your favorite play of the week is a receiving wild going, just going wild against the Cowboys back in some Packers receivers here.
22:42Break it down for me. Who you like, why, and how far you're going on the escalator.
22:47Yeah. This is one of those days where we are actually waiting all day for Sunday night.
22:52Packers Cowboys Sunday night. There will be points. Let me help you out in fancy football.
22:57Start everybody. This is the highest total of the week.
23:00This is the fastest tempo game of the week.
23:03It's really hard to see either defense getting many stops.
23:06Dallas's offense is good as everyone hoped. So they're going to score.
23:10Sadly, no Micah Parsons yet. So they're going to get their points.
23:14Dallas's defense is bad as everyone thought. And so love is going to attack downfield like he has been.
23:19This obviously is a rivalry that we know they don't get to play every year, but you know that Dallas has only
23:26won one of its last 12 Packers games. In the rivalry.
23:30That's pretty crazy. But the theme here is points.
23:33They played last year. The final score was 40 to 40.
23:36That was our last tie game before the travesty last week.
23:39That's 80 points. They scored 80 combined. The previous meeting to last six meetings, Cowboys Packers average total just barely under 70 points.
23:47So if you'll want, you can just play the over.
23:50You can play some alt overs, but it's already 53 and a half.
23:54It's already getting priced in. Like you're going to play like what's the highest you can find a 70 or an 80.
24:01You can play that. But if it's going to be that much scoring, then I think you can just find a different way to attack it.
24:09That's what I do. So I'm looking props here.
24:11So Matt, we tried the Jordan Love escalator two weeks ago.
24:15We're a week early. 367 yards on the Bears last week.
24:18A lot of good. That did us. He had like 180 the week that we played it.
24:24So I looked at Love. He's had three 300 yard games.
24:27He's had two touchdowns every game. That's all priced in.
24:30Can't buy any of that. There's no advantage there, but if Love has 300 yards or more, a couple of two, three scores, who benefits?
24:38This entire Packers offense right now, they cannot run the ball.
24:41They don't have any depth. It's all three dudes.
24:44Christian Watson, Matt Golden, Tucker Craft. So who do we play?
24:47I think more than one. Tucker Craft does not have an explosion back.
24:52Jordan Love is big game hunting. I think we want the receivers.
24:55I think we want big plays down the field on Dallas.
24:59Matt, are you ready for a whole bunch of Packers receiver prop bets?
25:03Let's go wild. I love Bonanza. It was a great show and a good restaurant many years ago.
25:08Packers Bonanza. Here we go. Christian Watson, my guy.
25:11NDSU product has already had 143 yard game, 147 yard game, 96 yards three times with some long ones in there.
25:18He also, surprisingly, has become their red zone go-to guy.
25:21Six touchdowns already in five games. And I don't think books have caught up to that yet.
25:26So Watson touchdown, plus 135 at DraftKings. Two scores.
25:29He's already done that twice this year, plus 950.
25:32I don't think books have caught up with his scoring prowess.
25:35He's getting the long ones, but some short red zone stuff too.
25:39So that's the Watson bet, his touchdowns. Matthew Golden has had 95 yards or better three times himself.
25:44All three of those games, he's had at least one 40 plus yard catch.
25:49Dallas, last two games alone, allowed a 45 yard pass, a 52 and a 64.
25:53Last year, they allowed 14 catches of 40 or more, including a 46 yarder to Matt Golden when they played the Packers.
26:00So, longest catch, Matthew Golden, 40 plus yards is plus 350.
26:04So, we want the long catch for Golden, one of the touchdowns for Watson.
26:08But wait, there's more. Put that into our four easy payments, down payments.
26:12We're going to go crazy here because why pick one when you just play both?
26:17Love so far has had two quiet games, three huge games.
26:20Look at those three huge games. Week one, Vikings.
26:23Watson, 6 for 147. Golden, 6 for 95. They both had good games.
26:27Week three, Atlanta. Watson, 796. Golden, 5 for 100.
26:30Both big games. Bears, Watson, 143. Golden, 123. Both big games.
26:33For these two dudes, their best three games of the season came at the exact same time.
26:39And I think when you play them together, we get a negative correlation bonus because books are saying if Watson has a
26:45big game, Golden can have a big game too.
26:48That's how it works. There's only so many yards to go around.
26:52Uh-uh-uh. Now with Dallas's defense. With Dallas's defense, all things are possible.
26:56Watson, 80 yards and Golden, 80 yards is plus 550.
26:59I love this bet. I want to see big yardage.
27:02I want to see both guys involved. Watson and Golden, 90 each is 10 to 1.
27:07That has hit three times already this season. Why is that 10 to 1?
27:11Heck, we are nine yards away from them having 100 and 100 each.
27:15Three times already this season. So we're playing that too at 18 to 1.
27:20If Sunday night is as high scoring as we hope, let's have some fun.
27:24And let's hope two guys get to have fun with us.
27:27Okay. I'm going to nickname this the BOGO bet because this is buy one, get one.
27:32I like that. You're saying you get to get the one receiver.
27:36And if you're getting one receiver, you get the other one with it because Dallas's defense is just that bad.
27:42Phenomenal stuff. That's his favorite play of the week.
27:45Make sure to get all those bets and you can track them in the Action Network app.
27:50Before we get to more bets from Brandon, here's a quick word from our sponsor at DraftKings.

28:37Oh my God, Lexi. We have a new podcast.
28:40It's called Don't Lie to Me. I'm Lexi Iwano.
28:43We're two best friends, 22 years apart, but so close at heart.
28:46And I'm Lisa DiGiulio, the old one, which means we have wildly different references, occasionally different opinions, and at this point in my 50s, I've lived it all.
28:55I'm not gonna get anywhere fighting. That is wild.
28:58I learned that about you today. Now in my 30s, being the founder of New Shoes, Good Taste is my business, and I've always got something to say.
29:07If men were just honest about this, there would be so much more peace in the world.
29:12We're gonna talk about dating, relationships, beauty, getting older, and a little wiser.
29:16We're best friends, but we don't always agree. Because you told us how accommodating you are.
29:21Obviously I would do what I think I could do to fight the fight, but there's only so much fight I can fight.
29:28Don't lie to me. Don't lie to me. Don't lie to me.
29:32Don't lie to me. Don't lie to me. Don't lie to me.
29:36Liar. Listen on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
29:40I don't really care. There are thousands of podcasts that can tell you how to better yourself.
29:45Get Worse with Kyle Pru is not one of those podcasts.
29:49So if you're interested in getting thinner, going to therapy, starting peptides, setting boundaries, taking supplements, making your better, getting closure, then I would humbly recommend other podcasts.
29:57But if you're interested in blackmail, love bombing, cloning yourself, or getting revenge, then we've got a little something something for a dastardly individual like you.
30:05Take a listen to some of the incredible advice we've given so far.
30:09Fake a back injury. Get the spray tan. Up your alcohol consumption.
30:13Only women should be allowed to have guns. Kill them.
30:16Kill them. Kill them with a gun. Listen, it's already over.
30:20I'm all about lying if it's something that really happened.
30:23The next time a bear is running at you, you just calmly stop what you're doing.
30:28You look the bear in the eye and you say, this isn't you.
30:32Do not preserve relationships. You don't need them. You only need one thing, and that's the Get Worse podcast.
30:38Listen to Get Worse with Kyle Pru on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
30:44I'm former U.S. Women's National Soccer Team player Carly Lloyd.
30:47I'm Fox Sports reporter Jenny Taft. And on our new podcast, Whatever It Takes, we're talking motherhood, marriages, careers, and figuring out how to balance it all.
30:55And we'll discuss the game that brought us together, because nothing is off limits.
31:00Do you remember your initial reaction when Fox called you to be a part of the World Cup?
31:05I was like, no, I don't want to do it.
31:08You said no? I played with players that didn't, I don't think that they really, truly love the game.
31:14I found the love with the ball up my foot.
31:17But in my head, it was the long game.
31:20It was like, I don't care what I'm being asked to do at Fox.
31:24I'm going to go get some reps, and I'm going to learn it and love it and embrace it.
31:30He said, this group of people will never be in the same room as part of the same team ever again in your life.
31:38And it is your job to make sure that you enjoy the moment, you're proud of what you accomplish together.

31:51Is there an epidemic against literature? More specifically, Black literature.
31:54Our books are being banned, scanned by AI, and destroyed.
31:57I'm Jacquees Peace Thomas, and on this season of the Black Lit Podcast, we're outside asking some of the custodians of our
32:04stories, teachers, and our modern-day writers why. They don't want a whole bunch of little Ella Bakers, Malcolm X's, and Martin Luther King running around.
32:12They want to build children who have no empathy.
32:15That's really the ultimate goal. We want books that don't make white kids feel bad.
32:19So is the war on literacy and information or our ability to connect?
32:23We want people to know how sexy reading is and how fun it could be and not always associated with education.
32:30It could be an escape. It could be entertainment.
32:33And that is the beauty of reading. It can be all of those things.
32:37And considering this is Black Reading Month, the only real question is, what are you reading next?
32:42Listen to Black Lit from the Black Effect Podcast Network on our iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
32:49Bloomberg's Big Take Podcast has everything you need to know about the most expensive midterms in U.S.
32:55history, like the money being spent to control the Senate.
32:58Everyone has been waiting to see how Trump will spend his big war chest.
33:02He was sitting on nearly half a billion dollars.
33:05How candidates are rewriting their party's playbooks. You have El Saeed, who is a former health official, giving rise to a lot of the economic populism.
33:13I'm wondering where you see this sort of definition of the working class going from here.
33:18Well, it's essentially now everyone, right? 50% of college educated workers consider themselves working class.
33:2350% of high earners do. And how big business is throwing its money into the ring.
33:28Gambling, super PACs, sports betting companies. There is obviously the AI super PACs.
33:32Don't just witness history unfold. Understand it. They redistricted Texas.
33:35We're the Mac Daddy. And it's going to backfire.
33:38Catch the Big Take podcast every weekday and tune in Wednesdays for the latest on the midterms.
33:43Listen to the Big Take on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
33:48We'll keep it simple. When I was in the sandbox as a kid, I got no respect.
33:53I like it. It's playful. Keep it simple, smarty pants.
33:57Your sandboxes are the best. That's why I want you involved.
34:00All right, back here with Brandon Anderson in the playground.
34:03Let's go to the sandbox. We're going to hit the simple stuff that you like this week.
34:08Sides, totals, etc. What you're looking at. And you're going to start with a play that I love.
34:14I love this play. I think it's phenomenal. Where do you want to start?
34:18Yeah, let's go Raiders. Give me the Raiders plus five and a half against the Bills in Las Vegas.
34:24I think the market overcorrected here on the Raiders.
34:27They played the Chiefs pretty even. Then they got got by Drake May.
34:31Okay, you lose to Drake May sometimes. I'm not convinced that the Bills can attack the Raiders defense the same way Drake May did.
34:38Drake May is about explosive downfield ability. The Bills don't really have the weapons for that the same way.
34:44They don't have... They're not attacking that same way.
34:47And really, both pass defenses are pretty rough here.
34:50But I think Cousins and the Raiders can hurt the Bills just as much as the other way around.
34:56Old Bills defense under Sean McDermott. Elite against tight ends.
34:59They were number one last year. They were great at limiting explosives.
35:03Not anymore. This year's team is getting gashed by tight ends.
35:06This year is giving all sorts of explosives up.
35:09And guess who's got some good tight ends? It's the Raiders.
35:12Brock Bauer is going to have a big game.
35:15The Raiders are going to score. And the Bills just played Monday night.
35:19And their defense was on the field 78 plays and 37 minutes of possession on a short week.
35:25This is a really rough spot for this defense.
35:28Here's a trend for you. Week 6 and 7.
35:30Underdogs of 7 or less against teams that are 80% or better against the spread, which is Buffalo.
35:36These teams are 41, 16, and 1 against the spread.
35:3972% cover rate by about 5.5 points. That is the spread we got.
35:43And that would basically say that this becomes a tie game spot.
35:47That this makes the Raiders alive. I personally make this Buffalo under a field goal.
35:52So 5.5 gives us some big key numbers. Even if we're wrong, Matt, and this is not a Raiders spot, even though
35:58Buffalo is a lot better, I think the back door is still very live for us here.
36:04Bill's defense is near the bottom of the league in nearly every metric, especially against the pass.
36:09Their defense left the door open all five games.
36:12The only game they won comfortably was that Lions game on a Thursday night against this tired injury team.
36:18And the Lions still pushed it late and still gave them a bit of a game.
36:23I think the Raiders are alive to win outright.
36:26I'm not betting the money line. I am betting Raiders plus 5.5 to cover against the Bills.
36:31Yeah. This is like the ultimate letdown spot. You just played the game of the year on Monday night football and went to overtime.
36:38And now and and and somehow the Raiders who have been perfectly comp like, yes, OK, you're right.
36:44They played with Casey even. And like the Pats were do a get right game.
36:49They were so far below. And like these teams we kind of talked about, it's like they either go completely off the
36:55rails, the Eagles, or it's like, all right, no, we're not.
36:59Like, it's like the it's look, the Raiders are obviously better than the Titans.
37:03But like last week, the Texans were like, look, we're struggling.
37:07But we're not that bad. Like, we'll still kill the Titans.
37:10And the Patriots were like, look, we've had a bad start, but we're not going to like absolutely go off the rails.
37:17So, yeah, I just think the spot is phenomenal.
37:20I think it's terrific. Great analysis on on like the Lions game as well.
37:24Love it. OK, this one we're oppo on. You want to lay the wood with the Los Angeles Rams?
37:30Yeah. Speaking of the Monday night game, I'll take the other team from that one.
37:35Give me the Rams minus 12 against the Cardinals.
37:37Like, I think there's a lot of kind of obvious reasons to talk yourself into the Cardinals.
37:43Alaric Jackson is out. Probably the most important lineman for the Rams.
37:46It's a short week. And then you're like, well, the Cardinals offense is kind of good, right?
37:52They can cover the 12. Look, don't overcomplicate this.
37:54I'm not going to tell you about the matchup.
37:57We know which team is better. You take the Rams.
38:00Here are the numbers. The Rams have won 16 of 19 against the Cardinals.
38:05Only one of those 19 games was closer than seven.
38:0815 of the 19 were won by double digits.
38:11That includes LA wins by 17 and 28 last year.
38:14And this is just what Arizona does. When they play good teams, they get killed.
38:18It's not even competitive. This year, so far, they lost by 24 to Seattle.
38:23They lost by 24 to Detroit. They trailed the Niners by 17.
38:27They did come through the back door and made it six.
38:30Only after the Niners had lost like three of their seven most important players to injury.
38:35And that was probably going to be another 24 otherwise.
38:38If you look back, since the midpoint of last season, Arizona is 1-13 with Jacoby Brissett.
38:43That includes losses to good teams by 17, 19, 20, 22, 23, 24, 24, and 28.
38:48Guess what? The Rams are still a good team.
38:51Keep it simple. Rams minus 12. The Rams are consensus number one in power ratings.
38:55This is my problem. Is that across the board, if you look at...
38:59I know you love this one when they post the objective power ratings.
39:04But the composites that Sam Hoppin puts together, it's Rams with an edge over everybody else.
39:08I'm sorry. There's no way that's not an overrating on power rating.
39:12They keep losing fucking games. You gotta win the games.
39:15Like, at some point, the results need to matter.
39:18So, like, I just don't know how on earth they can't be overrated.
39:22And this is a 12 and a half line.
39:25I just can't. I can't. I can't. But Brandon's gonna go that way.
39:29I get it, Matt. I have the Rams actually down currently to fourth in my power ratings, but effectively tied for second.
39:36I actually made a big update this week. I'm now at San Francisco at clear number one ahead of the field.
39:42So, I agree that they're a bit overrated in the market.
39:46I'm actually gonna tell you this. I have Rams minus 10 and a half here.
39:50I'm going against my own number because the history that we have with the Cardinals in the last season is that the Cardinals get murdered by good teams.
39:59And I don't know if the Rams are an elite team like they're being priced.
40:04I know they're a good team and I know they're gonna put some points up.
40:09And I just you're gonna be on Cardinals. I'm gonna be on Rams.
40:13The Cardinals are gonna be down 14 or 17 late in the game.
40:17And I'm gonna feel a lot better about it.
40:19While you got Cardinal Jacoby Brissett like trying to get through the back door.
40:24And I'm just gonna live with the result. Yeah, that's fair.
40:27I look. Yeah, I do like that your position on this is like, no, no.
40:32The Rams are overrated. Overrated. But so are the Cardinals because they're truly dog.
40:36All right. Last one. You've got a total play that you want to get in on with them high flying Kansas City Chiefs and those woeful, woeful L.A.
40:45Chargers. Speaking a year from hell. Yeah. Give me the under Chargers and Chiefs under 42 and a half.
40:51This is one I usually wouldn't play, Matt, you know, because the total has already dropped three from Sunday.
40:57It was 45 and a half. And you know how I don't like to chase.
41:01I don't like to lose the best of the number.
41:05I just think the number is still not quite gone far enough.
41:08It's a weird rivalry. Like, you know as well as anyone.
41:12As a Chiefs fan, you don't love to see the Chargers on the schedule, I'm sure.
41:17Because these games are usually close and they are usually low scoring.
41:20The Chargers have either won outright or kept it to one score.
41:2411 of the last 12 against the Chiefs. Last five matchups averaged 33.4 on the total.
41:29Four of the five under this number. Three of the five below 30 on the total.
41:34Chiefs had won 19 of 22. The Chargers, as you know, swept last season.
41:38And the Chiefs are going to remember because the first of those was the home opener, quote home opener in Brazil.
41:45The second one was when Patrick Mahomes tore his knee.
41:48They're going to remember this one. They're going to want this one.
41:52So it's a weird, weird spot. But I just don't think they're going to get a lot of points.
41:58The Chargers can't score on anyone right now. They have scored 14, 14, 16, 17, and 23.
42:03And the 23 hilariously was on Seattle because it was 13 until garbage time.
42:07And then they got some points that didn't matter.
42:10So they basically are topping out at like 17.
42:13They're dead last in offensive DVOA. Justin Herbert looks absolutely lost right now.
42:17Like he is just his the mind game. It's gone right now.
42:21We're rumoring of rumoring. Is that a word? There's chance that Mike McDaniel is going to get replaced by Adam Gase running the offense.
42:28That's where we're at on this team. There's no offensive line.
42:32Spags defense off a bye week. Where are the Chargers going to score?
42:36Meanwhile, a bit underrated storyline. I'm sure you've got your eye on it.
42:40But I'm not sure the Chiefs are going to score a ton of points right now either.
42:45There are no receivers in Kansas City. It doesn't look like Rasheed Rice is back.
42:50Tyquan Thornton is out. This offense is lacking juice.
42:52It's Kenneth Walker get us a big play. Otherwise, I guess we just are back to last year again.
42:58And Mahomes just like do the 14 play down the field thing.
43:02And I think that's what they'll do here. That's kind of how the Chiefs grind out these wins.
43:08Mahomes home unders as a favorite since 2022. 23 and 8 to the under.
43:1274% and this jumped out to me. And why I'm still playing is this is a trends bonanza.
43:18You love your bonanzas? 8 and 0 trends to the under on this one.
43:22The Mahomes trend I just gave looks windy. Windy under 61%.
43:25Total under 44. Herbert under 62%. Tarba 60% best coach in our system.
43:29Total between 39 and 44 with a line drop like this one.
43:33Still 55% of the under on a huge sample.
43:36That's pretty strong. Chargers 4 and 1 to the under this season.
43:40Four games right at 40. I just think the line, the total has not moved quite far enough yet.
43:46And so we'll take the under 42 and a half.
43:49Okay. I hope it is not an under game.
43:52I would very much like this to just be like a nice comfortable like 56 to 3.
43:57That would be that would be nice. Is that too much to add?
44:01Let me add to like a lot of times in this spot, especially with a huge line, you've seen me do this.
44:08Look, the very next pick we're going to do is me taking another under and the underdog together with the points.
44:14I don't need any more chargers and the points in my life.
44:18Like there is an easy world where this under hits and it's like Chiefs 30 to 3.
44:23And you might enjoy your Sunday just fine, Matt.
44:26Like that is totally in play in this game.
44:29I don't need any chargers in my life. I just don't think we're getting points here.
44:34I looked at chargers so long here, so long and was like, I can't, I can't, I can't do it.
44:40I can't. You know, it's a bad spot. If Matt is unwilling to bet against his own Chiefs, that that's like your
44:47number one bet of the week is the underdog against the Chiefs.
44:51If you can't even do it, you know, it's rough.
44:54It was pretty solid for a long time. Taking my homes over a touchdown or bet fading my homes over a touchdown.
45:01But that that seems to be turning in with the chargers team.
45:04I just cannot. All right. You got long shots and parlays.
45:08You kind of mentioned it here. You are going to go back.
45:12You're going to hit the under and the dog here.
45:15I got to come up with a name for this one.
45:18You're looking to a big AFC East matchup between, I guess I have to say my Jets and the New England Patriots.
45:25I think we might have to say our Jets at this point.
45:29Like we've, we've both continue to be in on the Jets.
45:32I think the market is too low on the Jets.
45:35I make this more like Patriots minus five. It's Jets seven and a half.
45:39So we're crossing a couple of key numbers here.
45:42I don't even think the Jets are good. I just think they're competent.
45:46They've been competitive all five games. Why wouldn't they be competitive here as well?
45:51Well, maybe because the Patriots dominate the Jets. They've won 18 out of 20.
45:55But that's a lot of Tom Brady. I can't make a ton out of that here.
46:00You beat this Jets team by running the ball.
46:03Their bottom 10 run DVOA defensively. The Patriots don't run the ball well.
46:07They're missing left tackle Will Campbell. They're missing Trevion Henderson.
46:10That's the explosiveness. I don't worry about you beating me by running the ball for the Patriots.
46:15Even last year, they didn't run the ball that well.
46:18They beat you by passing. And the Jets secondary has been pretty good.
46:22I think Aaron Glenn, as much as we malign him as a head coach, he took over the defensive play call.
46:29He's kind of cooking. I think he's really got the secondary in a good place.
46:34The veterans, Mika Fitzpatrick and Brandon Stevens stabilizing. And then the young guys, Azare Thomas, second year corner has been awesome.
46:40Safety Dane Belton, both breakout guys. I think the secondary can hang and not get picked apart by Drake May the way a few other teams have.
46:49And look, AJ Brown probably still out this week.
46:51We know the Patriots just had this huge game, but I think this is a letdown spot because there's still not really
46:58a ton of weapons for New England. Not a lot of explosiveness.
47:02And the Jets can hang around. Patriots defense has been the best unit of the teams.
47:07Especially against the pass. But I think they can be run on a little bit.
47:12Jets young offensive line has been pretty solid. Braylon Allen, I think, can run the ball, keep it close.
47:17Classic underdog script. Really, I think both of these defenses have been two of the more surprising units so far.
47:24So I lean under. If you lean under, you should look at the underdog like we've just been talking about.
47:30You definitely don't want Jets plus seven and a half in a shootout.
47:34That's not the ticket you're hoping for. If you think the Patriots are going to score, you should not be thinking about the Jets.
47:41If you think it's low scoring, you should look at the Jets.
47:45So I'm going to take Jets plus seven and a half and the under 43 and a half together at plus 265.
47:52I'm going to ruminate on it. But my two options are the Rorschach off of Watchmen where he's like, you're not locked in.
47:59I'm not locked in here with you. You're locked in here with me.
48:03But might just go the more simple reference of just might just call it cage match.
48:08There's nowhere to go. It's tight quarters. You're banging each other up against the cage walls.
48:13Sounds good. Not banging. Throwing. Phrasing matters. All right.
48:16Jonathan Taylor. You like him to go absolutely bonkers getting in the end zone versus the Colts.
48:21Yeah, I got a type. Obviously not versus the Colts versus the Titans.
48:25That's my fault. Yeah. Colts are big favorites here.
48:28Touchdown favorites against the Titans. They should be six straight wins against Tennessee.
48:32They're averaging 32 points a game on that stretch.
48:3538 and 41 last year. I think this is your best teaser leg of the week.
48:40You're looking for a teaser. You basically just need to win the game.
48:44And Shane Steichen, 18 and four against teams that finish below 500 at the end of the season.
48:50Guess who's going to finish below 500? The Titans.
48:52So the Colts are going to win this one.
48:55This is what Steichen does. They beat the bad teams.
48:58They lose the good teams. And what Tennessee does is give up running back stats.
49:0317 rushing touchdowns. Two running backs last year was second most.
49:06This year, lead running back against Titans has a touchdown three of the five games.
49:11A fourth time they left hurt. Tennessee last year only allowed multiple touchdowns to running back twice.
49:16They only allowed 100 yards to a running back twice.
49:19Both of those, both times, Jonathan Taylor. This is the guy you want against the Titans.
49:24There's some matchups you just know when you've been covering football for a while.
49:29When this guy plays this team, I'm betting him.
49:32I'm just ready to bet him. And that's Jonathan Taylor.
49:35That's the Titans. Last three games. Get ready for numbers.
49:3829 carries, 218 yards and three scores for Taylor against the Titans.
49:4217 for 102 and three scores. 12 for 153 and three scores in a blowout.
49:46That's why he only had 12 carries. Three touchdowns three times in a row against the Titans.
49:51I was like, okay, here we go. And then I looked and the books were like, no, you don't.
49:57His touchdown price is like minus 250. It's the highest on the board, I think.
50:02His yardage is at 90. That's the highest on the board.
50:05So I'm skipping those. I don't need the median stuff.
50:09If it gets good, I want the big payout.
50:11So Taylor already has three multi-touchdown games this season.
50:14Eight of the Colts' 11 offensive scores are rushing.
50:17Taylor has scored in 13 of his last 20 games.
50:20Eight of those 13, he's scored multiple times. So when he scores, he usually scores again.
50:25He's had multiple touchdowns three times this year. Last year, he had it five times.
50:30And all five times, he scored three touchdowns or more, not just two.
50:34So I think the Colts score, I think they win with these.
50:37Skip Taylor touchdown. I ain't paying minus 250 for that.
50:41Get out of here. Taylor, two touchdowns. Plus 205 at DraftKings.
50:44Taylor, three touchdowns at 9-1. Okay, love a good job.
50:47The Taylor prop. I love this Colts team. You know that, man.
50:51Bucks, you are putting the foot down here with a statement about how good the Pittsburgh Steelers are.
50:56They are favorites versus the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. You've got a prop play and an alt play on this game.
51:03Yeah, I just think this line is all wrong.
51:05I think the Steelers are way overpriced in the market.
51:09Steelers minus two and a half. I have these teams back to back in my power ratings, even without Baker Mayfield.
51:15This is not me expecting Baker to play. I think we're getting Jalen Daniels again.
51:20I have the Bucs favorite. I make this Bucs minus two.
51:23So this game looks low scoring. It looks gross.
51:26It's windy. Total below 40 points at a premium.
51:29Again, should look at the underdog. Windy game means that running the ball should matter more.
51:34I think that Jalen Daniels helps in that scenario.
51:37I trust Tampa to run the ball. Better offensive line.
51:40Better offensive line means those tackles for Tampa Bay.
51:43Their best part against the pass. Pass rush can help negate the Steelers pass rush as well.
51:48Give Daniels a bit of a shot. Bucs off extra long rest.
51:52I think the Bucs have actually been the better defense of these two so far as well.
51:57I think Steelers defense has been a bit overrated.
52:00So the prop angle here, Rodgers has liked attacking the middle of the field.
52:04That is a consistent Bulls weakness. Bucs top 10 most fancy points allowed to tight ends four straight years.
52:10Three catches to a tight end 22 times in 22 games since the start of last season.
52:15Four more in 14. Five or more, almost half of them.
52:19That is Pat Friar-Muth's music. Over three and a half catches for Friar-Muth at plus 130.
52:24And then a small escalator at plus 270 for five.
52:27This game though is my biggest spread differential of the week.
52:30It should be an easy Bucs pick, but I don't like doing just Bucs plus two and a half.
52:36Because if I'm wrong, it's easy to see why.
52:39It's because Jalen Daniels played TJ Watt and a bunch of pass rushers.
52:43And was like, oh, remember how I didn't get drafted a few months ago?
52:47This is why. So I don't need a minus 110 outcome.
52:51If it goes bad, it's really bad. If it's good, I want it good.
52:55You know the trend I keep giving out, Matt.
52:58Since 2015, home underdogs of less than three that won straight up.
53:02We've got 142 of them. 60% of those teams that won, won by seven or more.
53:0611 of the last 15 Steelers losses have been by seven or more.
53:11So when they don't have it, they really don't have it.
53:14I don't know who wins, but I actually don't think this is a close game.
53:19I think either the Steelers win comfortably or the Bucs win comfortably.
53:22So give me box minus six and a half plus 330.
53:26And then Matt, I'm going to do the thing I literally told you 20 minutes ago I don't do.
53:32Let's put them together. Box minus six and a half.
53:35Fryer Muth, five catches. I think it does make sense.
53:38Trailing game script. Box pressure. You're going to get some dump off to the tight end.
53:43So Pat, five catches. And box by a touchdown is plus 1068.
53:47Whew. Okay. That's a pretty strong play on this one.
53:50You're going in on this play. I'm not trying to be a square.
53:54You can play a game. You pass the time.
53:57Nobody even plays four square anymore. Time for our four square parlay presented by DraftKings.
54:01We're going to get set for the DK Pick'Em Contest that we're both in.
54:06And we're going to put together our four square parlay.
54:09I give Brandon five to six sides that I think I like, which are inherently going to be square.
54:15And he picks out the ones that he likes best for a four team parlay at plus 1250.
54:20Last week, Brandon went three and two as he keeps on trucking, adding up and keeps on heading up there.
54:26I went two and three because that's my life.
54:29And that's how that goes. On the season, Brandon is 16 and nine.
54:33I am 12 and 13. He wanted to keep skins this year.
54:37It's 5-0. I will tell you, buddy, when this gets to be 10-0, I'm calling it.
54:42We're not doing the skins count anymore. Once you officially clinched, we're not counting it anymore.
54:47I do not need the embarrassment every single week.
54:50I will only do it for half a season.
54:53Your side choices this week. Tampa plus two and a half.
54:56Have a feeling you're going to take that one.
54:59Jets plus seven and a half. Giants plus one and a half.
55:03Raiders plus five and a half. Dallas plus one and a half.
55:06Eagles plus three and a half. And the Cardinals plus 12 and a half.
55:11Those are your choices. What are your four square parlay picks from Tampa?
55:15Jets, Giants, Raiders, Dallas, Eagles, and the Cardinals. Yeah, you made this one pretty easy for me this week because we actually
55:21like a lot of the same underdogs. So, Bucs plus two and a half.
55:26Raiders plus five and a half. Easy choices. We already gave both of those out.
55:31Jets plus seven and a half. I gave that with the under.
55:34We'll take it standalone here. So, Bucs, Raiders, Jets.
55:37That's easy. The last one was my last cut.
55:40I wanted to take the Giants again for a third straight week.
55:44I will take them here at plus one and a half.
55:47I looked at Giants minus six and a half again.
55:50That was going to be the play. I looked at Scadabo rushing over.
55:54It's the third straight week the Giants are underdogs, but I think it should be favored.
55:59But right now, both of their tackles are possibly out and Abdul Carter is possibly out.
56:04And the trenches are part of why I like the Giants.
56:08So, I will take them here in the spot as we record Thursday afternoon.
56:12I have not picked them yet. Officially. So, we'll see if I put it into the app if it's an official one.
56:19But for the four square DraftKings parlay this week, give me the Bucs, Raiders, Jets, and Giants.
56:24All underdogs plus $12.50. All right. My plays, just so you can try and stay away from them, are Tampa, Jets, Giants, Raiders, and Cardinals.
56:32Again, I cannot get... Like, I know. I understand that when the Cardinals lose, they get killed.
56:37It's just like... It's so many points for a team that I know is overrated in the market.
56:43It's too many points. I refuse. I also don't like the spot here.
56:47This feels like a real big letdown. I know it's a division opponent, but it's like a real big letdown spot after
56:54the Rams lost that game on Monday night. All right.
56:57Your contest plays for the week, which I'm sure will go three and two are better.
57:02What do you like? Well, hopefully I go three and two are better because I'm going to take Bucs, Jets, Raiders like you just did.
57:09So we're already three of the five on the same page.
57:13We gave out the cases already. I will take Atlanta plus three and a half.
57:18Remember, these are contest lines that lock on Wednesday.
57:20That is the key here. I wanted Falcons plus three and a half on the podcast.
57:25I had it on the rundown, and then the line dropped once Penix was back.
57:30Now it's close to a pick-em. Now I don't like it as much, but above three, I think both teams score.
57:36I'm really intrigued by that game and what we see from Falcons and Bears.
57:41So Atlanta plus three and a half. And then a late add.
57:45I was looking at do I take the Rams?
57:47They're 13 and a half in the contest. That 13 is a slight key number.
57:52I didn't love it getting that high. I looked at nine or seven and a half.
57:57Don't love losing the hook on that one as well.
58:00With the Hurts injury, this line is locked. Give me the Panthers plus one and a half.
58:05That one's already rising to three and a half with Hurts out.
58:09I think it could just be that it's a lost season.
58:13And in this sort of contest, a lot of people will be on that one.
58:17So even if I'm wrong, I'll probably be wrong with a lot of other picks.
58:22So I'm all underdogs this week. Fox, Jets, Raiders, Falcons, and Panthers.
58:26Yeah, I have to stay away from that one because I can't afford...
58:30I have to try and catch up ground. So I can't take the same pick everyone's going to take, which is going
58:37to be this line move that's off. That's your four square parlay presented by DraftKings, Bucks, Raiders, Jets, and Giants.
58:43Don't forget to download the DraftKings sports app and use promo code ACTIONNETWORK when you sign up.
58:48DraftKings, the crown is yours. Let's look ahead. Just give it a shot.
58:52How about next week? I got my mindset on you.
58:55I got my mindset on you. All right, buddy, before we get out of here, what's your look ahead to week seven?
59:02You are going to look ahead to Sunday night football and a big heavyweight matchup, but you'd like a total on this one.
59:09Yeah, Chiefs at the Seahawks. That one will be fun.
59:12Your Chiefs are underdogs in that one and probably should be.
59:16Seattle, pretty good team. Gave me the under, under 44 and a half.
59:20Both of these teams, I've seen their totals drop a lot this week.
59:24We talked about the Chiefs already. That one's dropped three.
59:27Seahawks total. I don't normally, Matt, play a game, play a look ahead where it involves a Thursday night game.
59:33By the time you listen to this, this game will have happened, but I don't mind that defensively, like hopefully settles and
59:40get like six defensive injuries before you listen to this.
59:43But Chiefs Seahawks under 44 and a half. Both these teams, I think are going to struggle to see a lot of
59:50points in their games, maybe like 40 and below.
59:53Chiefs have been below this line, 11 of 17 last year.
59:56Seahawks only twice this year below the line, but I think kind of artificial inflation on the other three games.
60:02Even that Seattle-San Fran game was like 61 points, but more like a 30-point game.
60:07Just crazy turnovers there. So I think this is the classic Mahomes primetime game.
60:11We've seen this. The slow grinding drives, two great defenses, chew up the clock.
60:16Seattle's offense, big story this year, not nearly as explosive.
60:19Kansas City, more explosive, but that's Kenneth Walker and this is a Seattle defense against Kenneth Walker and they're going to know how to contain him.
60:27So 44 and a half is the key here.
60:30In that range, 40 through 44, every single one of those numbers is a key number on the total.
60:36Not quite as much as a three or a seven on the spread, but I'm going to grab the under 44 and
60:43a half because each one number that drops, we're losing a little bit of value there.
60:47So Sunday Night Football, week seven, Chief Seahawks under 44 and a half.
