Davante Adams

PositiveProjection8:52

Dan predicts that Davante Adams' draft stock will rise following the upcoming games.

Insight page
PositiveValue57:22

Davante Adams is trending upward in drafts after reports of him dominating practices. While the source typically fades older receivers, they are opening their mind to drafting Adams because he is in a good offense and can provide immediate production to start the season.

The source highlights Demario Douglas as a potential 20th-round sleeper who could emerge as a flex option if A.J. Brown is shut down.

Insight page

Deshaun Watson

PositiveProjection50:57

The source projects the Browns offense as a top-five unit with significant potential. While Watson faces two road games to start, the source suggests fading him at your own peril, noting he has a 'Jameis-like' willingness to throw aggressively.

Insight page

Drake London

NegativeValue37:51

Drafters are running scared from Drake London due to concerns about Tua Tagovailoa's quarterback play, causing his ADP to drop to the 22-24 range.

Insight page

Emeka Egbuka

NegativeValue34:10

After previously being a high-round target, Emeka Egbuka became a 'full fade' for the source following his toe injury. While he is back at practice, the source remains cautious about his health and current draft price.

Insight page
PositiveValue220:57

Emeka Egbuka is highly regarded by the source, who notes they would have likely drafted him if not for a preference for a 'safer' build in a specific draft.

Insight page

George Pickens

NegativeUsage23:35

The source questions if Hunter Henry might emerge as a target if A.J. Brown is shut down in the opener.

Insight page

Jahmyr Gibbs

PositiveValue19:50

Chris states he will take Jahmyr Gibbs with his number one overall pick regardless of Puka Nacua's performance in Week 1.

Insight page
PositiveProjection215:02

The source expresses high confidence in Jahmyr Gibbs, stating they would never pass up an opportunity to draft him.

Insight page

Jake Tonges

NegativeSleeper22:10

The source mentions drafting Jake Tonges in late rounds as a contingency for George Kittle, though it now seems unlikely he will be needed.

Insight page

James Cook

PositiveValue18:35

Jameson Williams

PositiveBreakout220:36

Jameson Williams is a preferred target for the source, who values him as a strong wide receiver option in the third round.

Javonte Williams

NegativeValue12:23

The source notes Javonte Williams is currently locked into the RB13 spot in drafts following the clearing out of the Dallas backfield.

Insight page

Jaxon Smith-Njigba

NegativeProjection10:33

Nelson predicts Jaxon Smith-Njigba will have a poor performance in the opener, causing his ADP to drop to the end of the first round.

Insight page

Jaydon Blue

NegativeUsage197:17

The source is actively dropping Jadon Blue from their rosters, indicating he is no longer a priority hold.

Insight page

Jaylen Waddle

PositiveValue224:15

Jaylen Waddle is identified as a high-value target who is expected to move up into the second round of drafts as the market adjusts.

Insight page

Jaylen Warren

PositiveValue55:49

Jalen Warren is viewed as a 'rich man's Rashad White' in Pittsburgh. The source prefers him over Rico Dowdle because Warren is a superior pass blocker and pass catcher, making him a target if his ADP falls.

Insight page

Jonathon Brooks

NegativeValue44:56

Jonathan Brooks has fallen significantly on draft boards, dropping a round to a round and a half from his previous fifth-round price point.

Insight page

Jordan Mason

PositiveUsage71:07

Jordan Mason has seen his ADP rise to the end of the 6th round in recent drafts. The source notes that his increased cost is warranted given the team's run scheme and his potential role.

Insight page

Josh Allen

NegativeValue64:26

The source struggles to draft Josh Allen in the 4th round because they prefer the wide receivers and running backs available at that spot. However, they acknowledge his consistency, noting he has produced 39+ touchdowns in six straight seasons.

Insight page
NegativeValue213:36

Josh Allen's ADP has seen a slight decline, with the source noting he fell to the fifth round in recent drafts. Despite the price drop, the source acknowledges his consistent production of 40+ touchdowns over six consecutive years.

Insight page

Josh Downs

PositiveValue48:48

Josh Downs has seen his ADP drop by a full round recently, making him a strong value target. Despite some concerns regarding his health and the return of Pierce, the source remains committed to drafting him, noting he was a target even when available earlier in drafts.

Insight page
NegativeValue49:28

Josh Downs has dropped about a full round in recent drafts, according to the source.

Insight page

Josh Jacobs

PositiveValue24:49

The source suggests Josh Jacobs becomes a viable lottery ticket in the ninth or tenth round, assuming he serves a potential six-game suspension and returns to action, rather than staying on the exempt list all year.

Insight page
NegativeInjury36:52

The source advises fading Josh Jacobs due to legal issues that could lead to a 4-6 game suspension, though he remains a late-round 'lotto ticket' for some.

Insight page

Malik Davis

PositiveSleeper196:54

Malik Davis is identified as a top waiver wire running back target. The source compares his development to Rico Dowdle, noting he performed well in the third preseason game with blocking, running, and receiving, and could be the primary handcuff if Javonte Williams misses time.

Insight page

Malik Nabers

NegativeValue37:31

The source notes that drafters have been hesitant on Malik Nabers, with his current draft position settling around 22 overall.

Insight page

MarShawn Lloyd

NegativeValue24:07

The source believes Josh Jacobs' legal situation and potential suspension risk negatively impact Marshawn Lloyd's draft value, causing him to slide back a couple of rounds from his previous fifth-round projection.

Insight page
PositiveUsage29:35

The source is optimistic about Marshawn Lloyd's potential in the passing game, projecting him to contribute weekly as a receiver out of the backfield in the Packers' offense.

Insight page
NegativeDepth Chart37:21

The source notes MarShawn Lloyd's ADP has dipped slightly due to the Josh Jacobs situation, but he remains a key target for those fading Jacobs.

Insight page
PositiveValue201:58

Marshawn Lloyd is mentioned as a player to target on the waiver wire if available, as he remains a free agent in some older drafts.

Insight page

Matthew Stafford

PositiveProjection8:52

Dan predicts that Matthew Stafford's stock will rise following a strong performance in the Rams' passing offense.

Insight page

Mike Evans

NegativeValue60:19

The source notes that Mike Evans is being drafted around wide receiver 35. While they are not actively seeking shares, they acknowledge he is a value at that price point, though they express concern about his age (33) and injury history.

Insight page

Najee Harris

NegativeValue196:54

Najee Harris is noted as one of the top running back names on the waiver wire list, though the source views him as a solid backup handcuff rather than a player worth breaking the bank for.

Insight page

Puka Nacua

PositiveBreakout9:55

Nelson predicts Puka Nacua will have a massive game and surpass Ja'Marr Chase as the WR1 off the board, potentially even going first overall in some drafts.

Insight page

Rhamondre Stevenson

PositiveUsage11:54

Nelson predicts Rhamondre Stevenson will have a huge workload and score a touchdown, causing him to rise into the end of the third or early fourth round, potentially leapfrogging Breece Hall and Javonte Williams.

Insight page
PositiveValue30:46

Rhamondre Stevenson has seen his ADP rise into the fifth round, a move the source fully supports, noting that the Trevion Henderson injury news has further solidified the value of the pick.

Insight page

Rico Dowdle

PositiveValue44:16

Rico Dowdle is rising on draft boards as drafters increasingly believe the drumbeat that he will be the primary back in the Dallas backfield.

Insight page

Sam Darnold

PositiveMatchup0:05

Sam Darnold is highlighted as a favorable PrizePicks target for the week one opener against New England, requiring only one yard to cash the pick.

Insight page
PositiveMatchup73:27

Sam Darnold is highlighted as a favorable pick for Week 1, needing only one yard against New England to cash his pick.

Insight page

Tank Bigsby

PositiveValue26:52

The source prefers Tank Bigsby over Josh Jacobs, noting that Bigsby is one injury away from taking over the Jacksonville backfield behind a strong offensive line.

Insight page

Terrance Ferguson

PositiveSleeper21:56

Nelson identifies Terrence Ferguson as a sleeper who could move up draft boards if he catches two touchdowns in his opener.

Insight page

Terry McLaurin

PositiveValue52:20

Terry McLaurin has fallen from the 3rd/4th round to the 5th round in recent drafts, creating a buying opportunity. Despite the addition of Stefon Diggs and offensive line concerns, the source argues that Washington's poor defense will force them into high-scoring games, leading to high target volume for McLaurin.

Insight page

TreVeyon Henderson

PositiveValue32:43

The source remains cautious on Trevion Henderson, stating he needs to fall to the eighth or ninth round before becoming a viable target due to his injury status.

1:30Why wait? It's Vegas, baby. It's all happening this week.
1:34And this is the one time where what happens in Vegas most definitely does not stay in Vegas.
1:40The ripples from Vegas drafts can become a tsunami, and the very best drafts are the ones right after the weekend games
1:48where ADP is taking its final form. If you've never been at Ground Zero for all the craziness, you are definitely missing out.
1:57I went for the first time in 2013. I can't even imagine not being there now.
2:03I've met so many great people. It's a delightful mix of cutthroat and community.
2:08The trash talk, it's savage. It's hilarious. Everybody pulls out their best draft moves and surprises.
2:13It is, in every way, the final boss. But before we go there, there's only one thing left to do, and that's this show.
2:22And that's right. It's Kicker Week this week. Kicker Week, Dan.
2:26Where did that come from? Did I send the wrong show sheet?
2:30Didn't you guys get the show sheet on Kicker Week?
2:34Kicker Week. Interesting. Yeah. Now, I have to say, Theo stole our bit.
2:39He did a whole show on kickers, and I'm mad.
2:42I saw that. I saw that, and then he followed up with a defensive show.
2:48So, shout out to Theo for putting in the work there.
2:52Man, that's pure plagiarism right there, I'm telling you.
2:55How are we feeling, boys? Good, good. Oh, man.
2:58What a great week. What a great day. Great week.
3:02It's been a hell of a run for this last week as the season gears up.
3:08Today and tomorrow, the last two drafting days that we'll be drafting with the board as we know it, right?
3:15After tomorrow night, the board's going to start changing for the last four days of drafts.
3:21So, enjoy the last two days here of the same flow of drafts, and then these next two games are going to
3:29change the board drastically, and it's going to make drafting really fun and interesting Thursday, Friday, Saturday.
3:35All right. So, guys, Dan, I apologize. Can I go off script for two minutes?
3:40All right. Don't mess Dan up like this, Nelson.
3:44You can't go through that. We're already off script.
3:47All right. That's what we do here, Nelson. Listen, real quick, rapid fire.
3:52I want predictions from each of us on how we think those two games are going to go and what key players
4:00you guys are predicting will move up, which ones will move down based on their production in the game.
4:06Give me – just give me your – it can be a fun prediction.
4:12It doesn't have to – you know. We don't really know how the game's going to play out.
4:18I think that these two games are going to be stinkers.
4:22That's going to be my prediction. I would have had high hopes for a Rams-Niners game, but I just think that this
4:30travel to Australia is really going to mess things up.
4:34I expect this Seahawks-Patriots game to be an absolute snooze fest, 20-14 type.
4:38And when that happens and A.J. Brown gets locked down in this opener, I think A.J.
4:44Brown falls to the end of the second round.
4:47I think that's middle to the end of second round overreaction after one game, as my prediction.
4:54Dan? All right. I'm going to say that if it weren't for the differences and approaches on the travel to Australia, I
5:02think that the Rams would be wiping the floor with the 49ers.
5:06But given that the Rams are going out there so close to the start of the game, hey, I've flown to Australia.
5:14It's no joke. I think it is easier going out there than it is coming back, but still.
5:20I'll be interested to see how they perform. But I think the Rams' pass offense is going to look pretty good regardless.
5:28I think the 49ers are going to hang with them, though.
5:32And I'm looking at probably... I'm thinking Stafford and Devontae Adams might move up.
5:37In the other game, I don't know. I'm kind of with Chris.
5:42I see this as kind of a low-scoring game.
5:45I don't think anybody's going to really move much off of it.
5:49What do you think, Nelson? Okay. My prediction is a little more exciting than you guys.
5:55Good. So Puka is going to go off, and he's going to surpass Jamar Chase as the number one receiver off the board.
6:04And there's going to be drafts that we're going to see in Vegas that Puka goes first overall.
6:10Over Gibbs and Bijon. So that's my prediction for that game.
6:14I think pretty much like with the 49ers, I actually think McCaffrey is going to drop and live at the end of the first round.
6:23Probably like the 1-2 turn. I can't see him getting much done with that Rams defense.
6:29Everyone else, kind of status quo. Okay. The New England-Seattle game.
6:33I am with Chris. I actually think A.J. Brown and JSN both have stankers of a game, and they're going to drop.
6:41I think JSN is going to be the same thing.
6:45People are not going to want to take that low score.
6:49It's just going to be unappealing. He's going to drop to the end of the first round.
6:55That's where he's going to live. Okay. A.J. Brown, I actually think, will make it to the third round in drafts.
7:02All right? He wasn't even that bold then, Nelson.
7:06No, no, no, no. Come on. End of the second round.
7:10End of the second round. He goes in the top 15 every draft.
7:14Top 15. And Ramondre Stevenson is going to have a huge workload.
7:19He's going to score a touchdown. He's going to have a good game.
7:23And I believe that he's going to move up into the end of the third round, early fourth round.
7:30Wow. I think he's going to go ahead of Brees Hall, Javante Williams, Kyron Williams, all those guys.
7:37So RB13, basically. After the Big 12, when Derrick Henry comes off the board, there's that lull.
7:43We feel what we're seeing now in drafts is Javante Williams looks locked into that RB13, that next name off the board
7:51with the news of the Dallas backfield getting kind of cleared out here.
7:56And Javante looking more like a bell cow. Javante RB13.
7:59And you're saying Ramondre is going to compete for RB13 off the board pretty much after the opener.
8:06I think people, when they're drafting and they're seeing Ramondre's 20 plus points is my prediction.
8:12When they see that, that's going to be enticing.
8:15And he's going to go and leapfrog all those running backs that we see go like end of the third, early fourth round.
8:23Okay. So two things with that. If our predictions are correct, and Nelson, your predictions play out, the first round is going
8:31to be chaos for the last three days of drafts because it's going to move out JSN down.
8:38Puka Nakua is going to move up into that top three, which means people are going to either be getting Chase or maybe even Bijan at four overall.
8:48Now you start getting different combinations on the draft board the final three days.
8:53Maybe you land a, you know, a Puka or a Jamar Chase with an AJ Brown now at the back end of the second.
9:02This is what's fun about these last three days of drafts because the combinations start coming out of nowhere and start looking
9:10different than what we've seen day in and day out now for the last month plus.
9:15Okay. So, you know, we still see the same combinations every draft, but I'm looking forward to the board changing a little bit.
9:24I'm getting a little bored of the board, if you would.
9:28Nelson, you're drafting every day, hot and heavy. How many drafts do you have tonight?
9:33I've got eight of them. Eight drafts in one night.
9:37You're an absolute animal savage. That's unbelievable. I love it.
9:40How many of those drafts will be happening simultaneously?
9:44Yeah. There's, they're going to overlap. There's going to be like four or five of them that will overlap at some point.
9:52Break out the computer screens all over the place.
9:55Are you feeling that the board is very repetitive, Nelson?
9:58Like, you know, you're putting the same combinations together or you're switching it up like every draft?
10:05Do you feel like? I've switched it up. Because at that point, why draft volume if you're going to just draft the
10:13same players and the same team over and over?
10:16Yeah. So, I've actually flipped it and I've been taking two running backs to start drafts and making those three, the next
10:24three wide receivers that I take, making those guys have to be, you know, key players on my teams rather than the
10:32four, the heavy wide receiver start, right? Four wide.
10:35And then always taking the same group of running backs in like that fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth round.
10:42I've actually flipped it where now I'm not looking at running backs in those rounds.
10:47I'm actually looking at the receivers. I've actually noticed that, Nelson.
10:51And I'll be implementing the same in some of my drafts this week as well.
10:56I have one last question for both of you.
11:00If this plays out the way it is and JSN has a slow game, maybe even Pook has a slow game, give
11:08me the name that's going to be locked into the top five in every draft the last three days.
11:15I don't know. I mean, I think you're going to see Cook popping up there.
11:20I think you're going to see Chase popping up there.
11:24You know, if some of those guys move down, they're going to move up.
11:29Jonathan Taylor will probably be a pretty regular feature there.
11:32I don't think there's going to be a real consensus, though.
11:36I think you hit it, Dan, the first name right there.
11:40I think James Cook starts going four or five overall.
11:44These two games go a little south. Yeah. And I'll tell you, I don't care if Pooka scores 80.
11:51If you're in the one o'clock primetime on Saturday in Vegas, in my draft room, I am taking Jameer Gibbs with my number one overall selection.
12:00I don't give a crap. I got plenty of Pooka already.
12:04Yeah, I don't think anybody can infiltrate the top two.
12:08Yeah, I think, Chris, if you're saying that Pooka and JSN have bad games, then I agree with you.
12:15It's going to be Amanra is going to be locked in.
12:19James Cook is going to be locked in. But, you know, again, unless he gets like a ton of checkdowns, I think McCaffrey's in for a bad game.
12:29So I actually think he's going to drop. It could be one of those games where, you know, it's kind of ugly
12:37and everyone from the game just kind of stays the same or goes lower in ADP.
12:43But I think there's going to be a couple of guys that kind of go off and, you know, make people have to push guys up.
12:52The other thought that I actually had that I think would be exciting is kind of like Isaiah Likely from last year
13:00where he kind of came out of nowhere, had that big game and moved up to like the second, third round of drafts out of nowhere.
13:09I would love just to create chaos because I actually love drafting after those games when it's total chaos.
13:16Yep. Terrence Ferguson is my guy that I would love for him to like catch two touchdowns.
13:23And he just is like up there with like Loveland and those guys.
13:27Yeah. Yeah, I'm hoping the same, Nelson. You know, I drafted a lot of Jake Tondias in the 19th and 20 rounds
13:35all summer long, expecting Kittle not to be there week one and hoping that Jake Tondias was a five for 70 and a touchdown or two.
13:45It doesn't look like that's going to happen. It looks like Kittle's going to go.
13:50But yeah, it'd be nice to get one of those secondary players in these games, you know, Rashid Shaheed, you know, Ferguson, you know, guys like that.
14:00We'll see. You know, Nelson, me and you, I saw a bunch of our drafts, your drafts as well as I've been doing it.
14:09Demario Douglas, 20th round. You know, if A.J. Brown is getting shut down, someone's got to emerge.
14:15Is it Hunter Henry? Is it Demario Douglas with one of those sneaky six for 70 and a touchdown type games?
14:22All of a sudden, 20th round to Mario Douglas is your flex player in week one.
14:28He's going in the lineup, that's for sure. Yeah.
14:31So, I mean, a lot of possibilities here. And, you know, it's right around the corner.
14:37It's 24 hours away. Joey, talking about Price moving up to the third or fourth, if he has a good game, I
14:45think that's definitely in the realm of possibilities too.
14:48Absolutely. It will be exciting, like these next two days with the games.
14:53I think it will be fun to see if it flips the boards after those games.
14:59Because, like, Price, that could be another thing. It could go the other way.
15:04Like, New England's back, you know, front seven is very strong against the run.
15:09Like, Price could have a bad game. And we could see, like, Ohani in there more than people, you know, want to see him.
15:18And all of a sudden, he's a guy that, you know, gets moved up in drafts.
15:24Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. But, sorry, I wasted a bunch of time.
15:28Before he becomes a target for me. No, good topic.
15:31Yeah, it was good. I liked it. Yeah. And it kind of covered our first topic anyway.
15:37But, you know, you guys are both drafting, you know, from New York, right?
15:42Yes, sir. Yeah. Okay. Yeah. I'll be out in Vegas.
15:46Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. No worries there. I got plenty of action going out there.
15:52I got 12 drafts between now and Saturday, which seems like nothing compared to Nelson.
15:57But, you know, most of those are live drafts and three of them are auctions.
16:03So, yeah. After two auctions in a row on Friday, I'll definitely be a little bit, I don't know, punch drunk or something.
16:11Duke checking in. Our boy Duke Vivero is checking in.
16:15Yes. He's live from Caesar Palace, Caesar's Palace. Good luck out there, Duke.
16:19Duke always kills it in the draft rooms. But, Dan, I'll be missing, besides all the outside of the draft stuff that
16:27I love and miss about Vegas, the auctions are what I'm going to miss the most.
16:33That's my top thing. The reason why I go out there every year is to get more auctions.
16:40And we did two in New York this past week at the bar.
16:44I hope, Nelson, I hope you had a good time at the bar on Friday.
16:50We went morning till night, Dan. We went 10 a.m.
16:53till midnight. And a good time was had by all, I think.
16:58So, only got two auctions in there. And, unfortunately, that's going to be it for me.
17:04Well, that's all right. At least you got two in.
17:07One of these days I got to get myself out to New York.
17:12It seems like I've always got something going on that weekend.
17:16So, last question on this realm. Where are you guys going to be watching the games on Sunday?
17:22What's your Sunday routine going to be this week?
17:26Go ahead, Nelson. Let's hear it. Yeah. So, years ago, I built a movie theater down in my house.
17:33And so, downstairs, I've got multiple TVs. I've got a screen that's about nine.
17:38It's like nine feet wide. So, it's like a big movie theater screen.
17:42TVs on the side. Recliners. I got the bar in the back.
17:47Refrigerator stocked. Order food. I'm not moving from there all day.
17:51That's a dream. That's the dream Sunday every Sunday right there.
17:55Nelson's living it. As for myself, you know where I'll be.
17:59I'll be at GST. I got my six big screens in.
18:03I'll have as many games on as possible at 1 o'clock.
18:07And I always have Red Zone on the main big TV.
18:11And taking in all the action. That's where I am every Sunday of the season.
18:16So, locked and loaded. And looking forward to it.
18:19And Marty, in the chat, yes. Nelson, it was an exchange program.
18:24We, in return for the big back booth that him, Hubbard, and the Greek held down all day and night.
18:31I got a Dunkin' Donuts care package. So, it was a solid one-for-one trade.
18:36And both sides were happy with the trade, I believe.
18:40So, Spiteri did not come through with the Beach House then?
18:44Spiteri never comes through with what he says. And as for Duke saying he's having breakfast with Spiteri tomorrow, don't expect alligator-armed
18:52Spiteri to pick up the check, Duke. Cheap bastard.
18:55He won't go in his pocket. Dan, you know what the problem was?
19:00Why Chris went with my deal? The problem with Paul is everything was future considerations and stuff like that.
19:06You know, that gets too complicated in deals. Mine was straightforward.
19:10It was an exchange right then and there, day of.
19:14It totally makes sense. That was it. We shook hands right there.
19:18Booth was his. Booth was his. The Dunkin' Donuts K-Cups were mine.
19:23And the deal was done. Perfect. Perfect. I love it.
19:26All right, guys. We're going to take a quick break here.
19:30We'll be right back. You know, I get asked, is AI ruining fantasy sports?

21:34Why wait? All right. One bit of house coping.
21:38I don't know if we said it at the top of the show.
21:42If we did, I don't remember it. But Matt will be joining us eventually.
21:47He's running behind today. He's got some other things going on.
21:51But he'll be with us. But in the meantime, let's get into the Josh Jacobs mess.
21:57We have a hearing on Thursday. Nelson, or Chris, what do you think is going to come out of all that?
22:05What do you, you know, lay out the possibilities for us?
22:09Yeah. Well, this shook up drafts on Friday, Dan.
22:12As soon as the drafts were getting ready to start, this Josh Jacobs news broke early Friday.
22:18And then all of a sudden, you know, the room was buzzing, you know?
22:23You know, all of a sudden, Josh Jacobs isn't going to be out until late November, possibly.
22:29But the court case moved up to September 11th.
22:33From what I read, read into this, Dan. And yes, it did.
22:37You did feel all day long on the draft board on Friday.
22:41And since then, that Lloyd's taken a little bit more of a dip.
22:46But Jacobs now goes to that drafter that wants to take that shot as his RB3 or 4 in round 9, 10, or 11.
22:55You know, when you don't need to rely on him early in the season as a top 2 or 3 back on your roster.
23:04And you could kind of plant him there and forget about it and hope for the best here.
23:10You know, that's the way drafters are handling it.
23:13For me, I'm still staying away from Josh Jacobs.
23:17From what I've read from, like, the lawyers in the fantasy world.
23:21Even if this hearing goes well, it still seems like he's going to catch 4 to 6 games, possibly more.
23:28And yeah, it's a nice little lotto ticket in round 11 or 12.
23:33But for me, I've been fading him all summer.
23:36I have all my Marshawn Lloyd shares. And I'm going to stick with that.
23:41I'm going to stay away from Josh Jacobs and hope that it's 6 to 8 weeks at best that he gets.
23:49And when he gets back, it's already Lloyd's job and he's off and running with it.
23:55All right. Nelson, what do you think? Yeah, I mean, I'm no lawyer.
23:59But what I'm hearing from what I gather is that they got this moved up because Jacobs and his team want this resolved sooner rather than later.
24:09So for this to get moved up, that tells me he's willing to get the court case either dismissed or some type of plea deal.
24:18And then the NFL, you know, comes down with the hammer and he probably gets, you know, 6 games minimum is what my thought is.
24:27And I think for fantasy purposes, I think Lloyd, that dings Lloyd, because I actually thought that Lloyd, if we're talking Jacobs
24:35out for the year, I thought Lloyd belonged in the fifth round with some of those other running backs.
24:42With this now hanging in the balance, I actually think Lloyd does move back a couple of rounds.
24:49But it does bring Jacobs into the equation of, OK, where are you willing to burn a pick?
24:55And what I mean by that is if this does not go as planned and Jacobs stays on the exempt list all year long, you've burnt a pick.
25:05You've wasted a pick. Where is that spot? And I've asked myself that question.
25:10And I think it's right there in the ninth, tenth round that I'm willing to say, all right, if he gets six
25:18games and he comes back, I'm willing to hold him a ninth or tenth round pick, hold him for six weeks.
25:26And it could be like a decent lottery ticket.
25:29So that's where I'm at with it. Nelson, Josh Jacobs or Ja'Cory Krosky Merritt on the board?
25:35Jacobs. Jacobs. Josh Jacobs or Mike Washington? Washington. Rashad White?
25:39Jacobs. OK, so you're like right there in that range when the like after J.K.
25:44Dobbins and Jordan Masons of the world start coming off the board and they're done and you start getting into like the
25:52handcuffs, the secondary guys, the RB3s slash fours. That's where you're willing to pull the plug on on Josh Jacobs.
26:00Yeah. Yeah. I think what you guys are saying definitely makes sense.
26:04You know, obviously nothing's going to happen for week one other than Josh Jacobs still sitting on the bench because the NFL
26:12is not going to move that quickly. Even if things go perfectly for Jacobs.
26:17I think if that video is still hanging out there and if that video gets out in the wild, that could be
26:25the exempt list for the year for Jacobs. So I think all the scenarios are still in play here.
26:32So for me, this just kind of it lowers what I'm willing to pay for Lloyd and raises a little bit what I'm willing to pay for Jacobs.
26:42But I think it's still very much on the table that it could be Lloyd all year and no Jacobs.
26:49Yeah. The Greek chimes in Josh Jacobs or Tank Bigsby.
26:53I'll take Bigsby. He's one hit away from taking over Philly backfield behind a good offensive line.
26:59So I'll do that. James Cook or Saquon. I'd rather have Cook over Barclay for the other one in the chat.
27:07That seems fair. Nelson, I'll say this. Bucky Irving, Marshawn Lloyd.
27:11If you want to play it the other way now, since Lloyd's fell a little bit in that range.
27:18I'd take Bucky. Bucky still? Okay. I think I might go Lloyd there.
27:22I don't know. It's close. And do we buy into a lot of this little chatter about, oh my God, Caleb Johnson
27:30might actually play a decent role in this offense now?
27:34Or do we expect Lloyd to be the full-blown bell cow here for the first at least two months of the season?
27:42I think, Dan, do you want to start? Yeah.
27:45I mean, to me, the Caleb Johnson is just sort of the injury possibility for Lloyd.
27:51If Lloyd gets hurt, the guy has not been staying healthy, obviously.
27:55He's done well this entire preseason. He says he's kind of changed things up.
28:00Gone to see the sports medicine guys and gotten his stride fixed, all that kind of stuff.
28:07So maybe it's a big nothing burger. But I think Caleb Johnson, if Lloyd goes down, he's probably going to be the next up rather than Chris Brooks.
28:17I think they want Chris Brooks in the role that he's in.
28:21So Caleb is just a handcuff to me at this point.
28:25Yeah, so my thinking is that they wanted to bring in depth behind Lloyd.
28:30And they want to get Caleb Johnson a fresh start.
28:34The kid was talented coming out of college, and it just hasn't worked out for him.
28:40Chris Brooks, I think they trust him in pass protection.
28:43So I think he's going to be the third down back to start the year.
28:49But Lloyd is going to get his opportunity to be the bell cow.
28:53Now, if he takes it and runs with it or if he fumbles it, that's going to be up to him.
29:01It's got to play out. But I don't think the coaches have predetermined and said, oh, this is what we're doing with Floyd.
29:09This is what we're doing with Caleb. I think they look at it as we're going to let Lloyd be the guy.
29:17But if things are not going well, he's not doing well in pass protection.
29:22I think we're going to see Brooks more involved.
29:26And then Caleb will come into the picture if Lloyd looks terrible.
29:30But I don't see Caleb anything more than a handcuff at this point.
29:35I'm excited to see Lloyd in the passing game in this Packers offense.
29:39That's what I really think he could contribute every week in the passing game.
29:44Jordan Love dropping, you know, getting him up the field.
29:48You see a lot of clips of him, you know, all summer long of him catching the ball.
29:55That preseason game when he caught the ball over the middle and walked in for a touchdown.
30:01Wheel routes out of the backfield. I mean, this is a running back that could contribute four for 50 out of the backfield on a weekly basis.
30:11So that's what I'm excited about. Chip in what you can behind a bad offensive line in the rushing game.
30:18But, you know, we have a nice PPR back in Lloyd here in an offense I love.
30:24Yeah, 100%. Okay. Well, let's talk a little bit about it.
30:28We've kind of moved into it a little bit already.
30:32Draft board risers and fallers. But to, you know, give us a player that's moving up or down draft boards and are you buying at the new price?
30:42My contribution to this is a Nelson creation. It's from Andre Stevenson.
30:46This was, you know, even before Nelson's theorizing he could go in the third round.
30:51But I think Nelson was early on this and he really kind of moved the draft boards a lot by what he was doing.
31:00And people were taking notice because, you know, they know that Nelson knows his stuff.
31:06They know that he knows the Patriots better than anything.
31:09And I think Nelson was reading the tea leaves right there.
31:13So, Andre moving up into the fifth round, I have no problem with that price at all.
31:19Now, I want to jump in real quick because, Nelson, you really did.
31:24You set the tone on the Ramondre ADP move with your legacy league, you know, pick at the 48-49 turn.
31:31So, absolutely, you know, people saw that and they started moving him up.
31:36My question is, because I can't remember, did the Trevion Henderson injury happen already when you moved him up?
31:43Because this has been an unbelievable, this has been a perfect fallout for you guys, you know, with Ramondre in the last
31:51week and a half since that draft. You know, Ramondre was like going late 60s and early 70s when you made that pick.
31:59Now, Ramondre is in the 50s, you know. So, I'm trying to remember the Trevion Henderson injury news.
32:06It doesn't even look like he's going to play tomorrow night.
32:10And that just adds to the Ramondre pick looking real good right now.
32:14Yeah, what happened there was when we did the 100K draft, Henderson had already gotten injured.
32:20I'm pretty sure. But the reports were that it was nothing.
32:24Yeah. So, I felt that it was more significant than nothing.
32:28So, that's where I moved up, you know, Stevenson.
32:32Yeah. It looks good right now, you know. Let me ask you guys this.
32:37Let's take the other side of this coin. Where are you taking Trevion in drafts coming up this week?
32:43Let's assume he's not going to play on Wednesday.
32:47And that fact is going to be known, obviously, by, you know, Thursday, Friday, Saturday.
32:52Nelson, where are you going to be taking Trevion at?
32:56The problem is he hasn't moved far enough down draft boards for me to consider him.
33:02So, like... Where does he have to fall to?
33:05He's got to fall to eighth round. Okay. Yeah.
33:08I was just going to say, like, I've been out on Trevion Henderson.
33:13I don't have a share, you know, all summer long.
33:16But now he's in my, you know, now he's on my radar.
33:21But he still needs to fall a little more.
33:24So, where are you going to finally take the bait?
33:28I'll say exactly what Nelson just said. I would have said ninth round.
33:32You know, looking at that pick 90 to 110 overall range.
33:36If I have a two running back build and a heavy wide receiver team and maybe that, you know, that section of
33:44Mason and Dobbins and Pollard are off the board or, you know, I'll take the swing with Trevion as my three now.
33:52Everyone has him as their two in most drafts in the last month, month and a half.
33:59I'll take him as my three or even my four if I can pull off that type of build.
34:05All right. Makes sense. And a question also from Duke on Ibuka.
34:10He's looking like a goat. Does he go back into the mid-late second round again?
34:15For me, no. But I'm curious what you guys have to say.
34:20That's a Nelson question right there. The king of the Ibuka shares.
34:24So let's. It's it's it's an it's an amazing 180 that I did because I I went from Ibuka as being my
34:32favorite target in that range where I was willing to push him up to the second round to when that injury happened.
34:40And he became a full fade for me. So I have gone like since that injury, I've gone hundreds of drafts and I have not taken them once.
34:50Right. I wanted to wait for him to be back to practice.
34:54And obviously, I my assumption was correct because I really had no inside information or anything on his injury, how serious it was.
35:03But it was serious enough for him to miss a lot of time.
35:07And, you know, to me, it was if he was back in a week after that toe injury.
35:14OK, we're good to go. But it's been three plus weeks, I want to say.
35:19So it was it was significant enough. People got some good deals, though, Nelson.
35:24You know, if this guy's back and he regardless, he's back, you know, he's practicing.
35:30Some doctors have seen him moving around and said he's playing with a steel, you know, that steel thing on his toe.
35:38It looks like or he's favoring one side to the other a little bit.
35:43Guy's not 100 percent. He's obviously has an issue here.
35:47He's missed three weeks of practice or whatever it is.
35:50But he's back at practice. It looks like he's going to play.
35:55And and a lot of people have late round for a book of shares now mid late mid round four shares of a book of with this dip.
36:05And those shares could potentially look really good come opening week here, as opposed to, you know, all of us drafting him
36:13at the end of the second round, early third round.
36:16You know, people have a book as their wide receiver for on heavy wide receiver builds.
36:22So that's a big swing right there for him to come back.
36:26Yeah. So my you know, I can't make guarantees, but I'm going to tell you my prediction for this final week is
36:34you probably will see me draft him, but it won't be in the second round.
36:40Mm hmm. Now, that's interesting. Let's get into talking about the board a little bit, because now that we're talking about a
36:48book, what I'm seeing, you know, these last week, that end of the second round is starting to dry up a little bit.
36:56OK, and it's tough. Hey, Matty Mo in the house.
37:00Good morning. Matty Mo, the only guy that wakes up at four thirty in the morning and starts texting the group chat at five a.m.
37:09But yet he's late for a show at ten thirty.
37:12We did move it up today. You got to give me a little.
37:17Let's get right back. Matty said, no, I'm going at the normal time anyway.
37:22But Nelson, with a book, are you feeling the same way when you're in the top three spots on the first round now?
37:31OK, we've just come off of a full week of the neighbors drafters feeling hesitant.
37:36Now I pulled the plug. I pulled the trigger on neighbors at, I think, twenty two overall in a draft in New York.
37:44I think you did as well in that range.
37:48But it just feels like the Drake London news.
37:51Everyone's running scared from Drake London, right? You and Theo got him at twenty four overall.
37:57It seems like twenty two to twenty four is where London's going now because people are scared with Tua being the quarterback.
38:05The neighbor's injury. Is a book are going to move into that territory the next three or four days is basically what
38:13I'm asking, because of the players that are starting to get cold in that range.
38:18I don't know. I don't I don't think so.
38:21I think a book is going to live in the third round.
38:26I think it's going to be again. It's going to be those wide receivers like Devante Smith, Zay Flowers, George Pickens, who's already there, basically.
38:35That's the hot name, Nelson. Can we just I think George Pickens is that name where drafters are starting to feel a
38:43lot more comfortable taking him in that end of the second round in that twenty to twenty four range.
38:50You know, it seemed like he was the guy that everybody was like, all right, everyone else is off the board.
38:57Neighbors, Alave, London, whatever. I'll take Pickens. Now it just seems like, you know what?
39:03Why fade Pickens? I don't want to say fade Pickens, but there's no warts on Pickens right now.
39:09You know, he's healthy. He's in a big time offense.
39:13All these other guys come with some issues right now with London and neighbors.
39:18Pickens is that name right now that I see people.
39:21He's not getting out of the second round anymore.
39:25Yeah. Not for me. I mean, I honestly think there's a really good chance Pickens could overtake Lamb.
39:31I'm not saying it will happen, but it's not out of the realm of possibility where it's like only a ten percent chance.
39:40I mean, he's two years younger. He broke out last year.
39:44He broke out two years ago in Pittsburgh in an Arthur Smith offense.
39:48So, you know, that's my take on that. I just think he's a safe play now at that end of the second round.
39:57But why wasn't he before? It did take me a little while.
40:01I don't have the answer to that, Matt. I don't have the answer to that.
40:06It took me until about the end of July because I was going back and forth Lamb, Pickens.
40:13And about that end of July, I'm like, you know what?
40:17I'm just going to try and get as much Pickens as I can the rest of draft season.
40:23All right. So I'm going to throw this to each of you.
40:28Start with Dan and straight down. You're on the clock end of the second round and there's Pickens and Drake London right now.
40:36Who are you taking? Yeah, I'm probably still going London there.
40:40Okay, Matt. I think I'm going Pickens here. I mean, I really like London.
40:45That's Nelson. I really like Pickens. I'm going to go London because I don't think Tua is going to go the whole
40:53year as the quarterback because that's what everyone's scared of.
40:57I believe that London wants Pennix to be the starting quarterback and not Tua.
41:02Tua is a check down machine. It's great for Bijan, great for Kyle Pitts.
41:07Not good for London. So that's why I do some.
41:11Do we have three or four games? This is football.
41:14It's not baseball. You know, do we have – we only get 14 of these.
41:20Do we have three or four weeks to suffer with your second round pick?
41:25Three maybe. Three. Yeah. My question is, how much longer is Pennix going to need to be healthy?
41:31That's the only reason why he's not the quarterback.
41:35Three. It's three. I'm telling you. It's three. That's it.
41:38I didn't know you were about to. I didn't know.
41:42Dan sold the time to. Dan sold the holiday in list.
41:46Nostradan ass. I'm stealing that. I think that's a good guess on Dan's part.
41:51I think it's going to be like three or four games that – and suffer.
41:56I mean, I don't think Drake London is going to be unstartable like suffering.
42:01I just think that his, like, spike weeks are going to come later.
42:06Can I say – my thing was, I was like, you know what?
42:11Tua's done it before Miami. But, I mean, it's just been – he's looked like Watson in preseason.
42:17That's how bad it's been. I mean, even me, that was kind of like, yeah, I'm not worried and I have my longer jazz.
42:26But I'm a little worried right now, to be honest with you.
42:30We may discover that Mike McDadell's greatest strength was being able to compensate for Tua and make him look like a reasonable quarterback.
42:39Football is finally back and PrizePix is bringing out their best offer yet.

43:16It doesn't get any easier than that. And the best part about PrizePix is the injury reboot.
43:22If a player in your lineup gets injured in the first half and doesn't return, your lineup can still cash.

44:10Why wait? All right. So I know we got off track a little bit, but the original question, right, Dan, was risers
44:18and fallers that we're seeing on the board. I'll throw out one at the running back position, a riser and a faller.
44:26In the last week, a lot of people are getting real comfortable clicking on Rico Dowdle now, moving him up a solid round.
44:34They're starting to believe the drumbeat of Rico being the main guy in the backfield.
44:39And we've seen a whole summer of Jalen Warren going two, three rounds before Rico Dowdle.
44:45But a lot of sharp drafters in New York were drafting Rico Dowdle.
44:50And I took notice of that. That's one guy that's on the rise on draft boards.
44:56And the faller is Jonathan Brooks. You know, this is Jonathan Brooks was that hot name a month ago, you know, for people in the fifth round.
45:05And now you're seeing him fall a solid round, round and a half, even two rounds sometimes in these drafts.
45:13I mean, I'll jump in here. I mean, Brooks to me, it's, I know I missed the Trevion.
45:19I know the Greek said that the slander on Hendo is wild, which I did catch some of it.
45:26We did it while you were away, Matt. So we didn't.
45:30But for me, I'm going to take the discounts.
45:33I think I have like 12 Henderson, I think 23 Brooks and 32 Corum.
45:38These are three guys in that range. And to me, if you watch the live streams or with Nelson, I was on with Paul.
45:47And look, it's always about you can get your one running back.
45:51These are your RB twos in some teams, but you can still draft backwards.
45:57Like we talked all summer. Like I'm putting Mason in.
46:00I feel pretty good about that. If I have a team with Dobbins or Dobbins and a Coleman, like I believe we
46:08have on one of our OCs, I feel really good.
46:12These are home run guys. That's what I called them.
46:15These are your home run swings that I think at some point this year, look, Trevion got hurt.
46:22Brooks has been on the side, but these guys are super talented.
46:26We saw what Trevion could do. We know the talent that Brooks has from that year in college.
46:33He basically put up Bijon numbers. I'm not saying he's Bijon.
46:37He hasn't been able to stay healthy, obviously. But again, I think you can still take these guys.
46:43If Rico Dattel or Kenny Gainwell, I think Kenny Gainwell is going to be pretty good this year.
46:50I think Buffett could be. So I think you can still, I'm not like, oh my God, Trevion's done.
46:57I still think Trevion's going to outperform Stevenson this year.
47:00I think he's a much better talent. I think Stevenson is pretty mad his whole career.
47:06Outside of what, 2022? And everybody that knocked Trevion last year, oh, he did it against this team, that team.
47:13He did it against the Bucs too. I think he had one of the best run defenses.
47:20But again, Stevenson had four games last year. Tennessee, Miami twice, and the Jets that he went off.
47:26But everybody seems to forget about that. Nelson, what do you see in risers and falls on the board?
47:33Yeah, I think one of the guys that I've noticed is Alec Pierce.
47:38And that's obviously with the injury news, finally healthy, practicing.
47:41Looks like he's a go for week one. I've seen him move up, obviously.
47:46And I think he's going to continue to move up.
47:50Because outside of Warren, I actually, I'm not a big fan of downs.
47:55And I think Keenan Allen, you know, he can only do this, you know, whole thing where he comes in and takes
48:03away targets, you know, from these guys. I don't think he does it again like he did last year with the Chargers.
48:11So I think Alec Pierce is going to be a guy that's going to keep trending up this week.
48:18Can we stay on Pierce for a second? As a guy that's big on downs and Warren, I have a bunch.
48:25I actually don't really have, I have one share of Pierce, I think I'm like 9-10.
48:31I want Pierce to play week one. Pierce helps out Warren, helps out downs, stretches that field.
48:37That to me is where he's vital for this team and for Dimes and everything to stretch it.
48:44I'm going to be shocked if Pierce gets off to a decent start in September.
48:49I'm sorry. I just want him on the field.
48:52I'll bet against that all day long. Sacrificial X.
48:56That's it. Yeah, that's what I'm hoping. Two for 38 each week, you know, one of those type deals.
49:03But Chris, I agree. He puts up big numbers right away in the first two, three weeks.
49:09I'm going to really be shocked. But Chris, wouldn't you agree that just him being on the field helps those other guys?
49:17For sure. Run a straight line down the field.
49:20Yep. Like Dan said, sacrificial X, hopefully. Matt's looking to, you know, just fluff those down shares a little bit more.
49:28That's another one. I'll tell you what, you know, speaking of Downs, he's another one that, you know, he dropped like a full round.
49:36You know, I remember in New York in a prime time, Nelson, I think we were in the draft.
49:43I got Josh Downs as my wide receiver. And when I was on the clock a full round earlier, I was going to take him then.
49:53And I and I passed for someone else. And I came full back around and he was still sitting there.
50:00And I said, man, just the whole room is a little cold on Josh Downs.
50:05Whereas two, three weeks ago, Josh Downs was a hot name on the board.
50:10And, you know, I said it on this show in the past couple of weeks.
50:16I'll take him as my wide receiver for every day of the week.
50:20But in that particular draft, I didn't need to.
50:24He became my five. So he's another colder name.
50:27And I don't know if it's because of the Pierce news coming back or, you know, Downs still a little banged up.
50:35But, you know, I'm still in on him. I got him at, I think, 9-7 in yesterday afternoon's OC.
50:42I mean, there is blood in the streets out of those OCs.
50:46If you can jump into like an afternoon one right now, I recommend it to all our listeners.
50:53Yeah, I got one going this afternoon. So I'm looking forward to that.
50:57Yeah, there you go. The Greek wants to know how's my Browns offense looking.
51:02Top five offense, I think, Steve. It's got potential this year.
51:06I think it's two weeks. Fade at your own peril.
51:10Watson plays the two games on the road. Week three, they come home and he's gone.
51:16That's the way I'm looking at it. I don't, I'm not saying Chidorah's good, but Chidorah's got that Jameis in him where
51:24he's just going to chuck, chuck, and chuck. So.
51:27Tell the Greek, Matt. I've been preaching it for weeks here.
51:31But I do think it's only two weeks because they have those two road games.
51:37I don't think he's starting in Cleveland week three.
51:40Terry McLaurin, another one, Dan. You know, guys, Nelson, you tell me.
51:44It just seems like he's the last guy that everybody wants at wide receiver in that fourth round.
51:51Sometimes fifth round. He makes it around to the turn sometimes.
51:55This could be a mistake for all of us.
51:58I'm just going to say that now. The Terry hates gone a little too far.
52:03A full round dip from where he was going a month and a half ago.
52:09I guess. Yeah. You know, I understand Stefan Diggs came into town and stuff.
52:14But Terry McLaurin is just a veteran wide receiver.
52:17And this Washington's defense sucks. They're going to find weeks when they're in 31, 21 games.
52:23Terry's going to get peppered. And, you know, some people clipped him as their wide receiver four in the fifth round.
52:31And I'm jealous of that. But it's funny, Chris, that you mentioned that because I've actually taken note of that, that in
52:39a lot of drafts, McLaren's been falling. And he's a guy that I've actually kind of made note of that I'm probably
52:47going to start drafting him here this final week when he drops.
52:51Because it's a couple of reasons why he's falling.
52:54You got the Diggs signing, taking away targets from him.
52:58That's how people feel. You got Tunsell, the left tackle, out.
53:02That hurts the offense if Jaden Daniels is going to be running for his life.
53:07But the scenario is if this commander's defense is not very good and they get into shootouts, then McLaren's going to get,
53:15you know, quite a bit of targets. And I think in the fifth round, I think that's a good spot to be
53:23able to take him in that offense. I think all the Redskins, I mean, you're just getting even like a Rashawn White's
53:31going like in the 11th round now. And even if you don't like Rashawn, I think he's vital to this team right now with the line being wrecked.
53:41He can block. He's a really good pass blocker.
53:45And Terry McLaren, I totally agree. He went from the 3-4 to the 5-4.
53:50The last six primes, his ADP is 5-2. And, you know, I think that's a good deal.
53:56Yeah, I think I'll be with Nelson there this week.
53:59Might be Terry time for me. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
54:03He's become a nice value. Listen, I mean, another shit offensive line.
54:07When you put the combinations together, shit offensive line, below average defense, you know, they're going to get in games playing from behind.
54:15He's the top target. I mean, I don't know why we're fading this guy as a fantasy community right now.
54:23Like you said, they're going to have to put up points.
54:27Defense is not good. Yeah. All right. Let's kind of move into any other observations on the draft board.
54:33Matt, you got shut out for the first half hour or so.
54:38Once we took you out of your time out.
54:41Yeah, I was back there. I was wondering if you were going to let me in there.
54:47I was like in jail. Oh, he froze you out, Matt.
54:51He froze you out. Yeah, what was the thing you know?
54:55Matt's been back there for 40 minutes. You picture Matt in the background on it.
55:01This guy won't let me in. Well, we were talking about Trevion Henderson at the time.
55:06We didn't want that interrupted. All right, Matt. What do you got on the draft board?
55:12Is your strategy evolving anywhere? You do anything different from specific spots?
55:17Whatever. I mean, I got to be honest. I pretty much picked like top six in probably at least 60% or more of my drafts.
55:26It's really where I've lived. Yeah. I mean, obviously, these guys you guys mentioned that are falling, I will take a discount
55:34on them if I was in on them before.
55:37And I don't see where, you know, they're out for the year.
55:41They're out for a month. So I'm still in on them.
55:45The Rico Dowdle and the Pittsburgh backfield, put it that way.
55:49I mean, I love Jalen Warren, but I only have a couple of shares.
55:54But I think if Warren falls, I'm going to probably be more in on him because he's still going to catch passes.
56:02Aaron Rodgers has got to get rid of the ball.
56:06And he's a much, much better pass blocker than Rico Dowdle.
56:10I know the coach loves Dowdle, has a relationship with Dowdle.
56:14But Jalen Warren can block and he can catch passes.
56:17Kind of like, he's like the rich man's Rashad White in Pittsburgh.
56:22I think both of those guys are going to be needed.
56:26Another guy that nobody wants on the draft board, Rashad White.
56:30It's crazy. Remember the time in July when Rashad White was Kenny Gainwell in July.
56:35Oh, yeah. Beautiful comp. Rashad White was Kenny Gainwell in July.
56:39Now we all want Kenny Gainwell. Who's taking him at 85 overall in the 80s?
56:45Rashad White goes 115, 120. They're both the pass catching backs on their team, the number two.
56:51Nobody wants White anymore. Everybody wants Gainwell. I like White at his new price.
56:56I think it's great. If you're drafting this week, you get him in the 10th or the 11th round.
57:03Yeah. That offensive line, I think, just helps White.
57:06Like I said, the last six primes, I did the last two days, whatever, like yesterday.
57:12It's 10-6. Yeah. It's pretty good to me. Sinking like a stone.
57:16Anybody else have any more? I'm just going to throw one more out here to you guys.
57:22Devontae Adams is coming back into drafters' hearts. You know, nobody really wanted Devontae Adams all summer long.
57:29He was that old-ass receiver that nobody wanted with Mike Evans.
57:33And then that, you know, that blurb happened about two, three weeks ago that Devontae Adams was lighting up practices.
57:40He was uncoverable. Yada, yada. A little kook of bad news.
57:44Maybe Devontae is the wide receiver one for some weeks if kook gets suspended.
57:49Multiple things factored in. But Devontae Adams, he's a little bit of a hot name moving up a half around, it seems like, in drafts.
57:58Yeah. He's a guy that it comes – Chris, what happens is it comes down to me taking the same receiver over and over again in drafts.
58:08And I've had to, you know, even if I think I'm right, okay, on the player and the player works out, it's the injury factor, right?
58:17If he gets injured and you've got him on half your teams, that's bad for business in the fourth round.
58:25Sure. So I've actually opened my mind to taking Adams in some spots for that reason.
58:31So he's an older receiver. I don't gravitate towards those guys.
58:34I usually just fade those type of players. But, you know, I also think that, like, Adams seems like he takes good care of himself.
58:44He's in a very good offense. I could see it where he's very useful, especially to start the year.
58:50And he kind of gets your teams, you know, out of the gate and going.
58:56Even if he breaks down later in the season, whatever, we'll have to worry about that at a later time.
59:03Yeah. Good point. I mean, for me, though, the problem with Adams is he's creeping up.
59:09And, like, Watson and Adams, I'm going to take Watson.
59:13I'm probably going to take McLaurin. I mean, I just – I like the other guy.
59:18I get what you're saying. Last year he was just so good.
59:23But, I mean, he's got – how many one-two-yard touchdowns did he have?
59:27Is that even possible to even replicate? I hear you, Matt.
59:31But I also look at that offense. And unless Terrence Ferguson is the dream that you hope he is, and we all
59:39hope he is, these targets got to go somewhere.
59:43Stafford's not throwing the ball 14 times a game.
59:46Hookah can't catch 17 balls a game. Like, you know, Adams – what's his floor every week?
59:52Like, you know – No, I mean, I do hear you on that.
59:57I just think they really wanted to trade him.
60:00They gave him the respect that went to him.
60:03So – and he did kind of decline. He'll slow down, you know, in the back half.
60:09But, again, like I said, where he's going, you can make the arguments.
60:14I just – All right. There's some names, risers and fallers right there.
60:19That's what I'm seeing on the board. I took a wide receiver 35, Mike Evans, the other night.
60:25So, it's – I don't really want to take a lot of Evans.
60:30But, you know, if you're going to give them to me at wide receiver 35.
60:36I got a question for you guys. I want to see if I'm crazy.
60:41But end of season, who has better numbers? Stribbling or Casey Concepcion?
60:45Concepcion. I'm with you on that. I seem like people think I'm crazy to think that.
60:51Yeah. Does anybody else? We don't want to say.
60:54Can I add – my prediction is all based on – I think Stribbling's going too early in drafts for the current situation.
61:02But if Evans – you know, he's had a few setbacks, right, this preseason and stuff.
61:08And he's an older receiver. He's 33 years old.
61:11He's had a history of hamstring issues and other things.
61:15If he goes down, Stribbling, I think, hands down over Casey.
61:19Okay. So I have a question then because I'm not a Stribbling drafter.
61:24I'll put that out there now even with a week of drafts left.
61:28Nelson, are you drafting Stribbling for what he is right now or the hope of what he could be if Evans goes down?
61:37Because I think that's what people are doing when they take Stribbling where they're taking him on the board is that like Evans is going to go down.
61:47It's kind of like – Stribbling is the receiver version of Blake Corum.
61:52So, you know, if Kyron is going to fall apart or Kyron is going to get hurt and I'm going to have the league winner on my hands.
62:02If I draft Stribbling in the sixth or seventh, Evans isn't going to make it and I have my wide receiver one, you know?
62:11All right. Matty, please don't interrupt me. But Stribbling is the Trevion Henderson of drafts.
62:16How dare you? I got you. I put him on mute.
62:20No, no, no. I'm being serious. I look at Trevion as he's the ultimate home run pick if Stevenson goes away.
62:28He becomes a monster. And that's what I think of Stribbling.
62:32I think right now he's being overdrafted. I'm not drafting Stribbling personally.
62:36I much rather have a guy like Matthew Golden than Stribbling at this point.
62:41But if – that's why I'm saying I'm throwing in that part that if Evans goes down, then I think Stribbling becomes that home run.
62:50But I think he's overdrafted currently. I think that was excellent analysis.
62:54Well, thank you, Matt. That's what I'll say. Thank you, Matt.
62:58I appreciate it. Well, that was anti-climatic. Dan, don't ever, ever mute my mic again.
63:04All right, Dan. What do we got? He's going to come pay me a visit.
63:09My knees are already bad, Matt. Don't do it.
63:13Yeah, draft board observations. Matt kind of got into it a little bit.
63:17But anything else you want to say on that, Matt, or move on to Nelson?
63:23What do you got? No, I think I'm good here.
63:26I think I'm good. It's been crazy morning. So that was the question I really wanted you guys answered.
63:33Okay. Nelson, anything you've been seeing on the draft boards?
63:37Been changing up what you're doing? The one thing is I think when we were trying to predict what's going to happen
63:45with quarterbacks, I actually think that they're getting pushed back in a majority of drafts.
63:50There's the one outlier draft every so often. Like for every five drafts that I do, there's one where the quarterbacks get pushed up.
63:59But for the most part, they're living. Like I've seen Joe Burrow, Drake May in the eighth round.
64:05I've seen, you know, like the next tier, Herbert, Lawrence, Caleb Williams, Dak Prescott, Goff.
64:11Like all those guys just like living in the 10th, 11th round of drafts.
64:16So I think that's an interesting observation as far as how to proceed and how to draft.
64:22I have very little Josh Allen and I hate it.
64:26Okay. Personally, because for the volume that I'm doing, I should have my fair share of Josh Allen, but I can't get
64:34myself to take Josh Allen in the fourth round when there's legit wide receivers available that really compliment my team well.
64:41There's a legit RB1 that I can take like, you know, Javante Williams, Brees Hall, ETN, Swift, that really help out like
64:49if you start wide receiver heavy and then you want one of those running backs.
64:55I can't make myself take Josh Allen because I keep thinking, why am I taking Josh Allen in the fourth round when
65:03in the 10th, 11th round, I can double tap two quarterbacks that I can almost be guaranteed.
65:09Like one of them's not busting. Like I'm getting a legit top 12 QB.
65:14So that's, that's, it's actually frustrating me because I want to have some shares of Josh Allen just in case he's a total difference maker.
65:23But the board just hasn't, hasn't switched where QBs have moved up or anything.
65:28Yeah. Matt, I was just going to say a hundred percent what Nelson just said.
65:34It's the dilemma that we all face as drafters in that fourth round when he's on the board.
65:40And we'll get into that later when we talk about the New York super.
65:45It was something that a lot of us faced, but again, Matt, what we do.
65:51Yeah, just real quick. I mean, I agree with everything you guys said and I'm kind of scared about it too.
65:58But I mean, the one thing he does, everybody keeps saying, and it is crazy, the difference in picks, but he's six
66:06straight seasons of 39 touchdowns or more. It's like buying a blue chip stock.
66:11It's, you know, it's like, it's, it really is something.
66:15And he's hopefully will continue and plays every game basically.
66:18So, you know. Hopefully not actually, because we don't have any shares.
66:23I'm a Bill's fan. Come on. I know, I know.
66:26But guess what? I like my money more than my fandom.
66:30I would sacrifice my fandom in a heartbeat. Okay.
66:34I want both. The Empire has a Josh Allen chair, the first, that first OC we took.
66:40So there you go. There's your exposure, Nelson. Be happy with it.
66:44Yeah, that's true. Yeah, I've noticed the same thing on the quarterbacks.
66:49But what I've also noticed is if you're on the ends, it's better to be on the front of that quarterback run
66:57when it comes rather than behind it. If you wait for somebody else to kind of, you know, be the first one
67:04when you all of a sudden you hit the 10th, 11th round, you know, and the quarterbacks start flying.
67:11If you get shut out on the ends, it can get a little bit rough.
67:17So if I'm on the ends and the run hasn't started, you know, by that time, I'm going to start it.
67:24Dan, and that's another reason why the middle right now of draft boards is like everyone's comfort zone.
67:31Right. Because you could play it out. You know, you get into that range, like Nelson said, after like Drake May and
67:39Burrow and Lamar come off the board, you still have that five or six quarterback pocket.
67:45And even if you want to go further than that with Goff and Jalen Hurts, you know, you're talking seven, eight quarterbacks.
67:53You could play it out where you look to the right of you.
67:57If you're in the middle of the board and you're like, I got two guys already have a quarterback.
68:04I could pass it again this round because I'm getting somebody if a run starts.
68:10But when you're at the end and you're in the 11 or 12 hole or one or two hole and you don't
68:18have a quarterback and you look to the right or left of you, all of a sudden you're saying to yourself, shit,
68:26maybe I got to take my quarterback now because if the run starts here and they take six guys by the time
68:34the long comeback around, I'm going to wind up with Bo Nix as my starting quarterback.
68:39You might love Bo Nix. It's not a knock on Bo Nix.
68:44But I'm just saying you don't want to miss out on that second.
68:49It could be more than six quarterbacks even, you know.
68:52But the advantage also being on that end, if you start the run, is that you've started the run, you know.
69:00So you're going to push the more good players back to you at other positions, which is why I'm kind of the
69:08mindset, you know, when I feel like it's time for that run to start, if it hasn't yet and I'm on the
69:16end, I'm going to be the one to kick it off.
69:20I might be in the minority with quarterbacks. The guy that I have FOMO on, I mean, I have a few shares, is Jaden Daniels.
69:29I mean, he's like the 10th quarterback going off the board and he can easily be top five, top three.
69:36So, I mean, and you can either, you can double tap him or take a him and a Baker, a him and a Bo Nix.
69:45It's not like, you know, you got to go raw dog with him.
69:50Call this quarterback name on the board, Matt. And I think that's people are going to look back and be like, what the hell are we doing?
70:00Definitely the guy that can burn people. Yep, definitely the guy that can win people leagues this year because you wait and
70:08build a monster team and a good roster and then you stick Jaden Daniels on there, you know, 11th round Jaden Daniels,
70:1610th round, whatever, and he has that top three or four quarterback season.
70:20You're right. That's the guy who could come home big time.
70:24And there's no risk there either because you can just take that Jaden Daniels share and pair him up with a Goff or somebody similarly cheap.
70:34And, you know, it's like, you know, you're not even really taking a chance with Daniels.
70:39You know, it's like pure upside. Yep, yep. The other thing I've noticed is the running back thirst is getting worse.
70:47I think the boomers are starting to pile into these drafts now.
70:51And, yeah, I know I look old, but I'm four months removed from being a boomer, okay?
70:58So I'm still probably Gen X. But, you know, it's kind of a meme.
71:03But, you know, when you get into the last week of draft season, those running backs just start moving up and it seems like it's happening again.
71:12You know, I've been in a couple drafts where I'm like, ah, I'm going to push running back, you know, back another round.
71:21I'm going to try to get this guy or that guy.
71:25And, you know, it's like boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom.
71:29Running backs are just going. And all of a sudden it's like, oh, now I really don't like my options as well.
71:37I mean, I'm not seeing it on this board for the primes, the last six.
71:42But in the last couple of OCs I've done, Jordan Mason has gone at like the end of the sixth round.
71:50Yeah. So, I mean, he was end of the sixth, maybe like earliest seven.
71:55That's the last couple I've done. But after new ones, like I said, there's been blood in there.
72:02You can build some monsters. But he's a guy I definitely noticed because I'm always looking to draft him as moved up,
72:10at least in the last couple I've done. That's a big rise if he's top 72 now.
72:16I mean, I think it's kind of wanted. Just with that schedule, if you believe in that run scheme that they're doing, I mean.
72:25Dan, what do you got? Yeah, that's basically it for me.
72:29Show's over? Show's over. That's good. Pack it up.
72:32Just a little over an hour. Chris, you got to go to your meeting?
72:37I'm good. I'm good. I pushed it back a half hour so we can get in the board or whatever is next, Dan.
72:45All right. Well, I think next up we're just going to do a little break here and we'll be right back.
72:53Football is finally back and PrizePix is bringing out their best offer yet.

74:18Call 1-833-4-WEGOVI or visit wegovi.com to view the medication guide and to learn more about Wegovi.
74:23Why wait? And we're back. Let's move it along.
74:27Just kidding. Go ahead. Sorry. All right. So let's just have a quick discussion on the waiver wire.
74:33Since it is a little bit earlier this week, we've got, for those of you who had your head stuck in a
74:41hole or something, tonight for NFFC, 10 o'clock, Eastern waivers are due.
74:46And for FFPC, tomorrow morning, 10 o'clock a.m., waivers are due.
74:50So if you've been holding off thinking you can get them in sometime.
74:54Wait, Dan, hold on. Maybe the FFPC is 10 a.m.
74:58tomorrow morning? Yes. Correct. Oh, beautiful. That changes my whole world.
75:02Yeah, there you go. There you go. Okay. I'm going to take a nap, a midday nap now instead of breaking out the coffee.
75:11So we know one guy who's had his head in a hole.
75:15I thought it was 10 o'clock tonight. I just was on that assumption.
75:20Yeah. But I'm going to be spending money like one of those sailors that landed in Thailand this week after being on a ship for like 250 days.
75:30Spending money like Hubbard? Is that what I heard?
75:33If I win these bids, I'm going to have like $100.
75:37Hey, Nelson, Hubbard's not in control of the FAB budget.
75:41Is he on a lot of those teams? Because you might be… He's grinding FAB, but we're going to have plenty of money on teams.
75:50Okay. All right. Go ahead, Dan. Somebody's going to put a limiter on Hubbard.
75:55You can only spend $150 for our authorization. Love it.
75:58Yeah. So first off, what are your goals for the early waiver run this week?
76:04And then what do you plan to do later in the week on the Saturday waivers?
76:10And how much or how little FAB are you putting into the bid?
76:14So, Nelson, why don't you just get us going on that?
76:18Well, my suggestion is that you go to FTN Fantasy and you… Nice plug.
76:23Nice plug. And you subscribe to my high stakes subscription.
76:27And I have my waiver wire article already posted there.
76:31Perfect. Boom. All right. That was professional, guys, by the way.
76:35The way that was let in. It's beautiful, Nelson.
76:38Anything else to say on waivers, Nelson? No, no, no.
76:42It's behind a paywall. Sorry. All right. Behind the paywall.
76:45Pay up, people. I mean, I will say this.
76:48I mean, it's amazing some of these guys. And I have a couple of teams that I have a main event that
76:56has Ricky Pearsall and Jaden Higgins on it. And I have awesome – I think it's like I have Chase and Brown.
77:04I have four awesome receivers. But there's some really good guys out there.
77:09And you just got to – if it wasn't guys that I thought were really good, I wouldn't spend the money.
77:17But – All right. So, listen. You know, this is the biggest fab period probably we're going to see.
77:24There was so many – so much turnover through June and July.
77:28Guys that came out of nowhere. I'm looking – I just came off of three hours of doing fab this morning before the show.
77:37So, it's the same names, okay? It's, you know, Jacoby Lane, Pat Bryant, Malachi Fields.
77:42Got some of the Dolphin-wide receivers, Chris Bell. You know, these are the guys that make up for what Matt's talking about.
77:50You lost Ricky Pearsall in June and July drafts.
77:53You – a couple other guys. I mean, these are guys that are going on picks 115 to 150 overall here with Pat Bryant and Jacoby Lane.
78:03The running back – the running back fab list is a little shorter though.
78:08You know, the two biggest names – and they're not even that huge to me.
78:14But, you know, Malik Davis and Najee Harris seem like they're the two top names on the – you know, at the
78:22top of the list when you go through fab for the last couple months of drafts.
78:27It's just solid backup handcuffs. I don't think anything to break the bank over.
78:32But, you know, some solid depth that you could put on your team.
78:37I spent my morning getting rid of or trying to drop 322 shares of Jadon Blue.
78:43Yeah. Those two guys would fill in nicely as a – you know, a – I'll say this, Chris.
78:50Malik Davis, I think he's – if anything happens to Javante, I do think he's like the new Rico Dabble.
78:57It's like they brought him along kind of the same way.
79:01They let everybody, including Jadon Blue, they said, here, run with it.
79:05Here's your opportunity. And, you know, and I'm not even much for preseason.
79:10I watch very little, but I don't even know who they even played.
79:15It might have been Arizona. But he picked up a great block.
79:19He ran well. He caught it. Again, third preseason game.
79:23But he did everything that, you know, that you wanted to see.
79:27And he's their guy, I think. So I think he's like the top running back.
79:33Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So those are some of the names that people will be bidding on tonight.
79:39How much, how little. Let's say, you know, each league will be different.
79:43But I think that some people will go a little overboard because they're trying to make up – nobody wants to go
79:51into the season, into week one, feeling like they have holes on their roster.
79:57In their roster. And they could get a guy that's going 150th overall on draft boards now and put them on their
80:05team and feel like, all right, I got rid of my Ricky Pierce or whatever.
80:10And I replaced them with something decent. So, you know, I'll try and add, sprinkle in some shares.
80:16I'm not going to break the bank. But I'll make some switches there and add some of those guys.
80:23And, Dan, to follow up with what you said, my second run this weekend will really just all be – I spent,
80:31you know, at least a couple picks each draft on guys that are playing in these Wednesday and Thursday games, especially the kicker position, the defenses.
80:41There will be a lot of switches with that as well.
80:45Could – Stribble, now he's available in like two of my OCs.
80:49I might ask anybody, you prices and all that.
80:52But I got to think – like I'm not really drafting Stribble, but I'm willing to unload a substantial amount just on
81:00the basis of Nelson's excellent analysis from previously, you know, for that chance.
81:05I didn't have to draft him or maybe, you know, I had Pierce Hall, Higgins, and that's a guy that I could add that has that possible upside.
81:15So, we'll see. Yeah, and also, if you've been drafting for a long time, like some of us, there's a few Marshawn
81:23Lloyd free agent shares bouncing around out there. I saved that for you, Dan, because you mentioned it last week.
81:30Yep, that's a fun one. If you have Stribbling available in an early draft, it's going to be $700 plus.
81:38Yeah, that's what I'm assuming. And the FFC for sure.
81:41Yeah. FFPC might be able to catch him a little bit cheaper, but yeah, you're going to be spending up to get him.
81:50I don't think you have a shot anything under 500.
81:53Mm-hmm. Okay. Yep. Fair enough. All right. So, yeah.
81:57Let's, anything else? Anybody else have anything on the waiver wire?
82:01All good? All right. Let's move on then. Let's talk a little bit of the NFFC.
82:06Chris, why don't you, while I'm bringing up the board, tell us a little bit about how things went at GST and let's go from there.
82:16I think it was a really solid day, year two of the live drafts.
82:21Everybody came in hot and heavy at 10 a.m.
82:24The auctions started. The room started filling up shortly after that around 1231 when we did the super auction and the 1 p.m.
82:32primetime. And, you know, I feel like the room was nice and full and lively from 1 o'clock till right after the New York Super.
82:41Some people stayed through the super. It was a solid day.
82:45I hope that everybody was happy with the food.
82:49And I know everybody took advantage of the open bar all day and night.
82:54That's for sure. And I think year two was an even bigger success than year one was.
83:00But, you know, ask someone that was in attendance in Nelson right there.
83:05Yeah. It's actually my favorite. One of my favorite trips all year is going down to New York City.
83:12I used to really like, you know, the hotels and doing the drafts there.
83:17But since we switched it last year, I actually love going to Chris's place.
83:22It just has that like home league draft type of feel.
83:26The camaraderie with the guys, seeing everyone, enjoying the joking around, laughing.
83:30Great food, way better than hotel type of, you know, menu that we were seeing at these live drafts and stuff like that.
83:38So, yeah, I always enjoy my time. I thought, you know, once again, it was a great setup this year.
83:46I mean, I missed it. And I got to tell you, that was that was a horrible day for me.
83:53You know, missing out on all that fun and seeing everybody.
83:57But I hated, hated the hotels. Like I if unless I lived in the tri-state area, there was no way in hell I was going to New York.
84:07Those hotels were horrible. And moving into GST was probably the greatest thing that NFFC could have possibly done.
84:14And I look forward to being there next year, counting down the days.
84:19Thank you guys for saying all that. And I'll say it from my my side of it.
84:25I'm just glad that everything went off without a hitch.
84:28There was no tech issues. Once we got up and running early in the morning, the boards stay up, stayed up on
84:36the TVs nice and easy for everybody to watch.
84:40You know, we had the I had NFL Network on the bar, the TV bars to people go watch, you know, the news and everything going on.
84:49It just it's just a solid day. And we get to draft five, six drafts in a row.
84:56I mean, it's what we live for. It's what we you know, it's what we like to do.
85:02So fun time. A lot of people sent some really nice messages afterwards.
85:07So I'm happy with it. And I also heard I heard that Spatari was signing autographs.
85:13Let me just tell you a real quick thing.
85:16And I just tell you guys, I missed this and I can't I can't go any further.
85:22We had a really nice couple, a nice gentleman and his wife.
85:27They had messaged me a couple of weeks earlier and they asked if they could come for their anniversary to fly in
85:35to New York for the weekend anniversary. And the highlight, they wanted to spend the day watching drafts because they both love
85:43to draft as a husband and wife. The daughter reached out to me as well.
85:48Loved it. The whole story was great. So, of course, I said, absolutely come.
85:53They spent the whole day there, 10 hours when they came in the door.
85:58I greeted them. They said, nice to meet you.
86:02We watched the Fantasy Empire every week, everything like that.
86:05And then, of course, Spatari jumped up because he's an attention whore and he needed to get into the spotlight.
86:12And he welcomed them as well as like he thought he was the second host of the drafts that day.
86:20So he then he said hello to them. And they said, oh, my God, we recognize you from your show and your dream.
86:28Oh, God. When I tell you Spatari's smile, he escorted them to their table.
86:33Please come on in. Let me get. Do you want a hamburger?
86:37Turkey burgers we're serving here. What could we do to make it?
86:42Spatari came back with a smile. He said, did you hear what they said?
86:47They said they watch me. They know me. And that's all I really had to think about.
86:53He's the GST's new maitre d'. That's, oh, man.
86:56I hope he picked up their check. Cheap bastard.
87:00No, he didn't. He didn't. Of course. Yeah. No.
87:03But anyway, that was a little story from that day.
87:06That's awesome. That's great. All right. So, by the way, shout out to Uno, bullet champion.
87:12I had a cake for him last Thursday night.
87:15He just sent us a video. He's watching us on the flight out to Vegas right now on the screen.
87:23Shout out Uno. Good luck, gentlemen. Yep. All right.
87:26Let's dive into this board here. I guess Nelson, you and Chris, we're both in it.
87:32So, we'll let you guys kind of lead it off, talk about anything you want, and we can go through the teams.
87:40Chris, you want to start? Well, we'll start right where it started, right there, with Nelson and Theo, right there.
87:47You know, I'll talk. We'll go team by team if you guys want.
87:52But I'm just going to say, the New York Super, it again felt as if it was a heavy wide receiver build, a heavy wide receiver draft.
88:02A lot of people trying to get those yellow stickers early and often.
88:06And most people wanted to wait on quarterback. You know, the big dilemma for me as we go through it here is the fall of Josh Allen.
88:16And I could tell you my thought process as we go along.
88:20I almost pulled the trigger on him in the fifth round on the come around.
88:26But I wanted to, again, like Nelson talked about, get that second running back out of the way.
88:32I didn't want to play, you know, how everybody's been playing these drafts with waiting and getting their RB2 to be like, eh.
88:41I wanted to lock in a running back RB2 that I really like and somebody I could depend on every week instead of a hope and a prayer.
88:51So that's my biggest observation overview of the board.
88:54Nelson, what about you? Yeah, I mean, Theo and I both agreed that starting with Jameer Gibbs, you got to love it.
89:02Um, I'm, I'm never going to pass up, uh, on a opportunity to draft Gibbs.
89:07The issue is in a draft like this, I actually prefer to be like in the middle of the draft.
89:15Uh, just because when you have, you know, it's a tough draft and when you have runs at positions, it can really
89:23like get cleaned up and leave you vulnerable. Um, if you're drafting at like one, two, three and 12, 11, 10, uh, range.
89:31So, uh, that was our biggest worry was that, okay, once we go Gibbs, what does this look like?
89:38Are we going to be able to get, uh, and, and build like a decent wide receiver room?
89:44And I think for what it was, I, I think we did okay.
89:49Yeah. I mean, 12, 13, 10, solve all your problems.
89:53The 12. Oh, uh, Brian and Mitchell. Yeah. Nelson, do you feel like the board shrunk up a little, uh, you know,
90:01did you miss out on the run or were you happy with the JMO Christian Watson turn?
90:07Or did you feel like, you know, this is my concern with drafting out of the one and two holes, right?
90:15Is that, you know, that whole third round goes yellow.
90:18Sometimes you get in a little softer of leagues and you get the extension of that middle of the third round where
90:26somebody falls to you, you know, the, the Wilsons, the burdens, DJ more T Higgins, whatever, somebody falls to you instead of
90:34having to pull up guys that usually probably have to take at the end of the fourth round, middle of the fourth round in JMO and Christian Watson.
90:44Now I know you're high on both of those guys and they're both really good wide receivers, but ideally, you know, like
90:52you said, you have to play with the board gives you and you're at the mercy of everyone here, which is why
91:00I put myself in the middle of the draft as well.
91:04Nelson, like just what you said, the harder the league for me, the more I want to go to the middle, you
91:12know, the softer the league, the more I want to go to the ends because I expect more things to fall to me there.
91:21So that would just be my comment on that.
91:24How do you feel about that turn? You happy with it?
91:28I want to follow up before Nelson answers just real quick, you know, cause you got the, you got the Jamison Williams
91:36and then he picked up Goff later. Obviously you have Gibbs already.
91:40So is that part of your thought process in taking JMO there was just, you wanted to get the stack going.
91:48Correct. Yeah. So, um, what I can say is that feel, uh, like me, we're not as, uh, big Parker Washington fans
91:56as, uh, like some people are, which is, which is fine.
92:00In this room? Listen, as I was saying it, I was like, shit.
92:05No, no, no, no truth to the rumor that this is why Theo split with, uh, with fantasy points was over Parker Washington.
92:13Yeah. I apologize, Matty. Again, I, you know. It's all good.
92:17I'm a big boy. Listen, it's just, it's my opinion.
92:21Like I'm, I'm not gonna, I'm not gonna berate the guy or shit on the guy, but I'm just not as big
92:29of a fan as, as other people that that's okay.
92:32So Theo felt the same way. He really likes Jamison Williams.
92:36So we knew we were making that pick. I really like Christian Watson.
92:41I'm willing to take Watson in the third round of, of drafts.
92:45No problem. Um, so I just needed to do a little bit of convincing with Theo.
92:51I think if Theo was doing this on his own, he probably would have gone a Buka.
92:57Um, with that. Definitely a Buka. Yeah. So, and, and listen, I'm a huge fan of a Buka, but I, I looked
93:05at it and said, you know what, it's confined league.
93:09Let, let's play it a little, you know, a little safer.
93:13Um, let's go with the healthy guy and, you know, we'll be, we'll be able to have opportunities to take a Buka,
93:21you know, in plenty of other drafts. So, um, yeah, we, we were good with that, that turn.
93:27And then the, the five, six turn was basically, we knew we wanted to grab a running back.
93:34We weren't going to do anything crazy. Like, you know, go five wide receivers.
93:39Um, we weren't going to take a quarterback, uh, tight end, most likely not.
93:44Uh, if like Warren fell, um, we felt like we needed to get a, like a solid RB two and, and our fourth wide receiver.
93:53So once, once that happened, it was, you know, just take best player available, uh, from that point forward is what we did.
94:01I think you guys did a great job. I really liked this team.
94:06I mean, I like the booze, you too. And Mason's three, you know, with Gibbs, I think, you know, plus receivers.
94:14I liked what you did with the, uh, the pits Kincaid combo and off Knicks.
94:19Uh, you know, it, you don't see that too much that, you know, quarterback tight end for four in a row, but,
94:27um, you had what you needed for receivers and three running backs and you obviously were good with it.
94:34So, um, I thought it was a solid team for sure.
94:38Uh, my, I guess, I guess I can't even ask this question to you if like, you know, if, if London wasn't
94:46there, you know, um, you know, I think the look of the team is completely different.
94:52I would have taken Waddle. I would have taken Waddle.
94:55Yeah. Yeah. So actually Waddle, the way the team worked out would have been nice too.
95:01I think you're going to start, I think you're going to see this week.
95:06You know, a lot of those third round receiver names are going to start going back into the second now.
95:14Um, so be prepared again to see those, uh, you know, Waddles and maybe Lad McConkey's, the Bonta Smith's and, and the
95:22Bukas start entering that end of the second round.
95:25Cause you know, when you're the Gibbs and Bijon owner, uh, and you don't want to start off running back, running back.
95:33And that run of receivers is gone. Um, you might want to, uh, you might want to just bring them up a little bit more.
95:42Real quick. The one thing I says, I don't, I thought Watson was going to move up this, uh, you know, as
95:50we got closer and it seemed like he was falling back, which I don't get.
95:55So, I mean, the three, four turn for me, it was fun.
96:00It brings you to guys you like, you know, I mean, I'm with you on Watson.
96:05I do like JMO. I mean, the other guys I probably, but I do like the stack you built.
96:12Yeah. I think with Jacobs possibly missing the start of the season or the whole season, I think Green Bay set up to throw the ball a lot.
96:22Yeah. I'm with you on that. I, you know, even like Matthew Golden, I wound up having a lot of shares.
96:30I really want Reed, but I could never really seem to get Jada Reed.
96:35And it's even if you, I think even if you don't like Golden, you just got to be in on him at
96:43his price where, where he's been going. And you know, with the possibility there, I'm with you wholeheartedly on the, more passing.
96:51So in a general sense, the one thing that really jumped out about me to me about this board is that, you
96:59know, for, for once we saw, you know, Josh Allen, the price gets depressed a little bit and then the other quarterbacks
97:07kind of get pushed up a little bit. You know, the quarterback run started a little bit earlier than usual.
97:14You know, so to me, this was more like what I was expecting to see a lot at this time of year.
97:22Uh, but you know, as we mentioned earlier, we just haven't really seen that.
97:27Uh, Josh Allen's still been going early and everybody else has been playing chicken at quarterback.
97:33Yeah. Fifth round, Josh Allen's tough to pass, but I mean, I do get Chris's point and even Billy with Swift and
97:41ETN, you know, then really solid RB twos there.
97:44But yeah, I don't mean looking good. It makes it a lot easier when you know, you got good quarterbacks, you know,
97:52several, several rounds later, but yes, I totally agree with that.
97:56And I've been doing the same thing, but again, this is a guy that puts up 40 burgers of touchdowns every year,
98:04like consistently six years in a row. Nobody's done it more than two years in a row.
98:10That's just, you know, that's like, you know, Matt, it's a tough, obviously that's one of the, you know, myself and Billy
98:18spoke about it after we were both drained the clock, you know, if we're going to take the running back there or
98:26Allen, if he's going to take ETN or Allen, Uno finally says, screw it.
98:31And I think that was right. Like once Swift and ETN came off the board, I think Kyron Williams is the next running back.
98:40You know, if you're a Kyron Williams guy, then maybe you could take him as your RB two.
98:47If you're Uno as well, if he liked him or not, probably doesn't.
98:51One of us was going to take Josh Allen.
98:55For me, I look at it more the way Nelson said, I like the quarterbacks that go in the eighth and ninth round.
99:03I like four or five of them. I actually love them all.
99:07Can I say one thing? I want to change the whole dynamic of my team because I feel like the cliff at running back comes there.
99:17And I look at these guys that are third round, you know, fourth round running backs here as back end RB ones.
99:25And then I don't like a lot of the names that you see afterwards.
99:30So it's a completely different look on my team and the way I view drafts this year.
99:36If I don't get one of these guys as my RB two, and then I could play around.
99:43I'm now the draft changes because I don't have to force up any of these rounds, six, seven, eight guys to be my RB two.
99:52I'm not in the business of, oh my God, I'm loaded at receiver.
99:56I got this. I got that. Now I got to go and force Tony Pollard up to be my RB two.
100:04He could be dog shit. J.K. Dobbins, Jordan Mason.
100:07I'm not, I don't want, I want all these guys as my three.
100:12I have one question for you, Chris. Yeah. Like being that you had Roman Dunes, look, Swift was a fun pick, even if you didn't have him.
100:22When you had a Dunes and Swift was there, were you thinking, you know what?
100:27Like, was that more of a factor too to say, you know what, I'm going to take Swift.
100:34I get the solid RB two and I could do the stack.
100:38Yeah. Just because in the back of my head, once I drafted Dunes and then I'm like Swift, I'm big on the bears.
100:46So, you know, I know right then and there that down the road, I'm going to try and go get Caleb and just have some more bears.
100:56Similar, a little similar to what Nelson did. Right.
100:59With the lions. I'm sure him and Theo are in on the lions.
101:04Offense. There's certain offenses that most of us love the bangles, the cowboys, the bears, the lion, you know, shit like that.
101:12So, you know, Nelson has a Gibbs. He's not scared to take GMO.
101:17And then he goes and gets golf. I kind of did the same thing, you know, as a bears.
101:24Right. I have no issue at all. Some people are like, Oh, you know, you have the receiver.
101:30Why take the running back? I don't understand why people even talk like that.
101:35There's plenty of, if you're in a good offense, there's, you know, nobody's saying no to chase Brown, Joe Burrow and T Higgins.
101:44You know, nobody's going to be like, Oh, you know, I don't want three guys on one team.
101:50The offense can light up a scoreboard, but you know, so, um, you know, that was my thought process with the bears.
101:58Um, you know, so that's that. All right. Fair enough.

102:40It doesn't get any easier than that. And the best part about prize picks is the injury reboot.

103:35Why wait? You want to go to team two?
103:38How do you want to do this, Dan? Yeah, we'll do team two.
103:42We'll just kind of buzz our way down them.
103:46So Chris Eibel, starting off with Bijan, Nico, Tet.
103:49I'm a little bit less high on Tet than that, but he gets a really nice value.
103:55Trey McBride in the fourth. You know, I think it's a very solid team that he put together here.
104:02It's no surprise. You know, Chris always puts together a really nice looking team.
104:07So I like this one. It's very balanced. I like having Hurts at quarterback and then waiting to get Shuck and get,
104:15you know, a couple more players that he really wants in there.
104:19Okay. I like what he did. If he comes out this week or next week that Jacobs is suspended four to six weeks, well, guess what?
104:29In the second half of the season, he's got his new RB2, you know?
104:34So, you know, we'll see how his wide receivers pan out for him.
104:39Josh Downs is a three and Diggs is his four.
104:42Probably going to be his weak point, but that's the sacrifice you make when you take a Trey McBride.
104:49And, you know, he takes a fourth round Trey McBride and nobody could fault him for that.
104:55Yeah. And he's got Tootin Rodriguez combo. So, you know, he's got somebody he can throw in the flex there.
105:03If, you know, if Diggs isn't working out, you know, you can get Tootin Rodriguez in there.
105:09So he's got some options. Yeah. Yep. All right.
105:12And we got Mike Sanda. Went with a, he went with a Chase Higgins Burrow stack.
105:18Looks like he might have sniped Nelson on Ramondre.
105:21Though, I don't know if Nelson can reasonably expect Ramondre to come back in this draft or not.
105:28Thoughts on this team? Yeah. Actually, yeah, Nelson. Go ahead.
105:31No, I think Mike drafted a really good team.
105:34I thought that was the right pick with Javante in the fourth round.
105:39Once you go three wide. I like the four wide setup better in like tournaments, main events, 350s, things like that.
105:47But I won't do that unless like really like there's nothing I like.
105:52I'll usually go three wide and then I'll get my running back in these confined leagues at that point.
105:58Stevenson falling there to him, I think was a really good spot to take.
106:03And then he was always going to take Burrow once he had Chase Higgins.
106:09It's just a, it's a solid draft. Like there, I can't really critique much as far as saying like, you know, oh, he did a good job.
106:18Like, yeah, he did a good job. Like, and I can't critique nothing negative.
106:23Like it's a solid team. I really liked actually Mike's team here.
106:28I thought he got everything he needed. He went big three receivers.
106:32You knew as soon as he took T Higgins that he was taking Burrow.
106:37Nobody stood in the way of that, I guess you could say.
106:42But he still didn't force it up where, you know, he took Ramondre.
106:46Like he was at least realized, I got to get my RB too.
106:51And if either teams two or one takes Burrow, so be it.
106:55But, you know, he gets two solid running back bell cows, three big receivers.
107:00Comes right back after getting the elite quarterback and snags Jaden Reed to be his fourth wide receiver.
107:07And then still comes right back after that and gets a solid three and four in Gainwell and White.
107:14Pass catching running backs that can fill in and give you 10, 12 PPR points each week.
107:20You know, and then if Kittle is here in week one, which he should be, that could be a real home run
107:28pick at tight end on a team that waited on tight end.
107:32So solid. Yeah, he did a great job here.
107:36You know, I love the sandwich of George Pickens there.
107:39Just a public service enhancement. In the OC yesterday, the guy at three got Chase, got Higgins.
107:45And in round six, at six, three, he started four wide.
107:49He gets his bench receiver over Joe Burrow. And I was like, how do you do that?
107:55How do you take, I don't care how much you love Marvin Harrison.
108:00He's your wide receiver five there. He's not coming back.
108:04When I was in the middle, I would have took Burrow in the seventh.
108:09There was no way I was going to look.
108:12I would have been happy to take Burrow in the seventh.
108:16But I just think if you made that commitment, why, how can you pass that off?
108:22And you see people do strange things. And he had a really good team.
108:27All right, team four. Chris, you want to take that one?
108:31Lowy. Lowy goes four wide. This Abuka as the wide receiver four now.
108:36Talked about it earlier. Could be, you know, could work out really well now that he's back.
108:42On Friday, we were still in no man's land in terms of news with Abuka.
108:47We didn't know where he was, when he was going to show up, but he's moving around.
108:53And this is a guy that everybody had as a wide receiver two.
108:58He's got him as his four. Again, a couple running backs that maybe, you know, he likes and aren't the hottest running back names on the board.
109:08But two bell cows and Kyron Williams and Junkins.
109:11Then he clips Lamar Jackson, an elite top four fantasy quarterback, to go on top of it.
109:17And a Tucker Craft running back. So a Tucker Craft at tight end.
109:22So through eight rounds, I thought he did a phenomenal job here.
109:26Just looking down a little more depth with Mike Washington, Jones, Black, and a couple rookie upside swings with Lemon and Boston as a five and six.
109:36So another solid team. All right. And my main takeaway is I'm never taking crap from Chris again about how I pronounce
109:44Monongai until he learns how to pronounce Judkins. What did I say?
109:49Jenkins? Junkins. It's always Junkins. Judkins. All right. All right.
109:52There we go. All right. I'll work on that, Dan.
109:56You work on Monongai. I'll work on Monongai. All right.
109:59Matt next? Yeah, I'll do this one. This is Mr.
110:03Zuka. I heard he was opening up like a flower blooming in the spring at the GST.
110:09All it took was to walk in the room.
110:13The Greek should be a politician, by the way.
110:16He's got to run for office in New York.
110:19Zuka. The Greek got Zuka out of his shell.
110:22Yeah. Yeah. I mean, this is another good team.
110:26I mean, you got Brees Hall. Bowers is always going to make a team, anytime you take a tight end.
110:33But, I mean, Brian Thomas in the fifth. But who are you taking?
110:38You could have took Michael Wilson if you wanted the receiver.
110:42So, I still think Brian Thomas, even if he has a rough, if you build a good enough receiver core, it might be rough early.
110:51But the guy could actually be one of the best second half receivers that we're going to see this year.
110:58Because, you know, that second half schedule is cake.
111:01As hard as that first half is. So, if you build a good enough receiver core, yeah, I mean, I really don't
111:09have a problem with any of the guys here.
111:12I like the Daniels dart. You know, two injury-prone guys, but two guys who could be top three quarterbacks.
111:19And he got two shots at it. So, you know, all in all, I think he did a nice job here.
111:27I mean, I think when you draft Bowers in round two, you just have, you know, you have to look at it as a receiver.
111:36So, when you put that, you know, just act like it's a yellow sticker.
111:41And you've got three monster receivers. And then you start off your running back room with a guy that I feel is
111:49a top 15 RB1 type RB, back-end RB1 in all.
111:53And then you get some, you know, you play the yellow-green, you know, back and forth.
111:58You wait on quarterback because you drafted an elite tight end.
112:02And you still get Jaden Daniels. So, I don't have any issues with this as well.
112:08Nelson, you see anything? No, I mean, I think the tough part is going to be, no, no, I can't critique it too much.
112:17There's a couple of players that, you know, I'm not too fond of or whatever, but.
112:23Player-wise, no, but in terms of the build, right?
112:26Yeah, it works. Yeah. All right. Who wants to take Edelman?
112:30Edelman. Edelman. I'll take Edelman. I think the running back room is a little young and a little risky for a standalone league.
112:38But he gets the Josh Allen pick, you know, in the fifth round.
112:43And that has to come at some type of price.
112:47You know, he has Devon A. Chan to build off of his running back room.
112:52I could probably be, you know, I could be totally wrong on this, right?
112:57Jadarian Price, if he's a star, this team is a monster.
113:01You know, he's got a solid two in Garrett Wilson, a solid three in Parker Washington.
113:07Addison, a solid veteran in Tony Pollard. Maybe Tony Pollard.
113:10He uses early in the season until he sees what he has in either Price or Brooks.
113:17And he's a solid three in the season. When you look at this team, he probably felt like he was playing a
113:25little bit of catch up at running back and receiver.
113:28So he wanted to get an attack that straight through the middle rounds and get a bunch of guys.
113:35And he gets Jordan Tyson to hopefully come in and be maybe his wide receiver for every week later on in the season.
113:43But it came at the price of his tight end room.
113:47And I have no problem him doing what he did when you wait on tight end and you get past round 13,
113:5514, then just put a collection of guys together and hope that one emerges at different points of the season.
114:03You know, maybe TJ Hawkinson early in the season gives you a solid September.
114:08You know, maybe AJ Bonner has that really good week one.
114:12This talks of him being a big part of the Seattle offense.
114:16And then, you know, Chig could be what everyone's been hoping he is at tight end.
114:22So he's going to he's not it's going to be tough for him at tight end each week, deciding who's going to
114:30play with those three and hope that the wheel doesn't stop each week with whoever he plays at tight end winding up with four points.
114:39I mean, I think everybody's burying Chig a bit too early.
114:43He's not coming off the field, you know, from what we saw and what we've heard.
114:49We've seen digs come off the field. But I mean, Chig's now a 15th rounder.
114:54And that's, you know, a shot I'll take. I'm pretty happy about.
114:58I thought the Pollard and Barner picks were great because Pollard really, you know, put a floor on his RB to give him time.
115:07Like you said, Chris, for Price and Brooks to, you know, to come into their own.
115:13And then with Barner, you really, you know, essentially you could have a, you know, a Ford tight end room because if
115:21Barner doesn't do crap tomorrow or Thursday night or tomorrow night, then you just get rid of him and you bring in another tight end.
115:30And, you know, you'll now you have to figure out who to start this week.
115:35But, you know, you kind of got that free look at Barner and then you can throw him away if you need to.
115:44So, yeah, I like what he did there. Yeah.
115:47The Pollard pick I agree with because if you look at the board, it's kind of the last solid running back left
115:55on the board that, you know, is going to get 15 plus touches each week.
116:00So him getting Pollard right there to be his RB4 completed, you know, a running back room of four deep.
116:08So that was a big pick for him. For sure.
116:11All right. Nelson, you want to do Billy's team?
116:15Sure. So with Billy, he starts off with James Cook, which I'm a big fan of.
116:20He gets so he's got Quinton Johnson as his third wide receiver or KC.
116:25And then he's got KC or Dowdle to play in the flex.
116:30So I kind of like that because when you take a tight end early like Loveland, it usually means that your flex
116:38spot is a little weaker, which, you know, some might say like, well, you know, I wouldn't be happy with KC or Dowdle as my flex option.
116:48But I actually think that like one of those guys is going to be OK in the flex gets a good quarterback.
116:56Again, it's like Mike Sanda. Like, it's just a solid draft.
117:00Like, it's done very well. He knows what he's doing.
117:03I'm a fan of the team. So I can't really say anything negative about it.
117:09Only good stuff. Yeah. Yeah, I loved it. I loved him getting ETN as his RB2 gets the elite tight end in Loveland.
117:17You know, teams going to be based on if QJ and KC Concepcion are what he probably hopes it will be.
117:25And he nails Trevor Lawrence as his as his quarterback.
117:28So another team like. Yeah, God. No, just being that we're on the topic of James Cook, do we any possibility cooks go in top six this weekend?
117:38No, we. Yeah, we talked about that while you were on timeout.
117:43Yeah. Yeah. We actually we actually. Yeah. If you once you when you go back and watch.
117:49I took him 6-S today. That's why I'm asking.
117:52Yeah, for sure. I think I'll listen later. I'll hang up and listen.
117:57Yeah. You guys want to cover my team real quick.
118:00I know we got to bounce. I think you should cover it.
118:05I'll just say this because I know we're up against it.
118:09Jefferson. I have over Lamb first round. I'm big on Jefferson this year.
118:14That's why I put myself there to make sure I got either Jefferson or Lamb to start the team off with wide
118:21receiver just because I knew I had the options of running backs coming back to me in the top 17.
118:29That's where I wanted to be was top 17 to get one of those running back names.
118:35I think Jenty who was a top eight overall pick all summer long.
118:40I'm taking the discount on him. I think if he's not there week one, he'll be there right there afterwards.
118:47So I'm not shying away from Jenty. I get him at two knowing I'm in a great spot for wide receiver two
118:55in the third round in the top 29 overall.
118:58I get that in Devonta Smith. I come back around and I start building the wide receiver room a little deeper there.
119:06Roma Dunze. I almost took Swift where I took a Dunze to be honest guys.
119:11But I saw what was left on the board at wide receiver and I didn't think that if I took Swift and
119:19the fact that a couple that team 12 had three running backs already that maybe I could get one of these running
119:27backs to come back to me and I was lucky enough to get Swift to come back on the come around.
119:35DK Metcalf is a name. I'll just keep saying I think he's underrated right now on draft boards as a wide receiver four.
119:43I get him and then I'm still able to build out my running back room with Corum and Dobbins as my three and my four.
119:52So I was really happy after as well getting Caleb Williams to be my quarterback on this team and still happy with
120:00my tight end and I'm happy with my tight end room for waiting on it too with a likely Jawan Johnson combo.
120:08Okay. One more thing I like too, real quick, you got Sadiq late.
120:13He's my new Ferguson late round guy because Ferguson's not late round anymore.
120:18Yeah. All right. I know a couple of you guys got a bolt here.
120:23Yeah. So you can just wrap it up. Yeah.
120:26I hate to give the last four teams short rations here, but that's the way it goes sometimes.
120:33And everybody else whose teams we talked about, you can Venmo the Fantasy Empire, 100 bucks for the coaching session.
