Adonai Mitchell

PositiveRole11:26

Jackson Smith Jigbman highlights Adonai Mitchell as a primary beneficiary of Gino Smith's preferences; Smith loves the throws and routes Mitchell runs, and Mitchell is elite at getting open. After being mishandled by the Indianapolis Colts, Mitchell now plays for a Jets offense that believes in him with proper quarterback and coaching support. Ranked WR32 after a 9-target, 7-reception, 142-yard, 1-TD game; Smith Jigbman makes a declarative statement: 'I will be ranking Adonai Mitchell ahead of Omar Cooper Jr. on a given week.' Critically, Mitchell has earned more targets per route run than Garrett Wilson when both are on the field, signaling elite target efficiency and chemistry with Gino Smith.

Insight page

Antonio Williams

PositiveUsage18:08

Jackson Smith Jigbman ranked Antonio Williams at WR26 for Week 9 against the Rams, back-to-back with Stefon Diggs. Smith Jigbman stated that Williams will "for sure" lead the Commanders in snaps and routes for the rest of the season, and it might end up being close between Williams and Diggs in target earning despite Diggs being the more efficient scorer. Smith Jigbman has Williams as a start, expecting good passing volume.

Insight page

Caleb Douglas

NegativeProjection27:20

Jackson Smith Jigbman ranks Caleb Douglas at 43, averaging 11.9 points per game but heavily boosted by one insane game against the Jets. Smith thinks the market is overvaluing him, noting that another Jackson Smith Jigbman. Then has Douglas at wide receiver 28, which Smith considers crazy given the inflated average.

Insight page

Chris Godwin

NegativeDepth Chart28:44

Chris Godwin is ranked 46 in Week 9. Jackson Smith Jigbman does not have Emeche Ibuka in his current rankings, but if Ibuka plays despite his foot injury, Godwin would be moved down one tier. The ranking assumes Ibuka remains out.

Insight page

Chris Olave

NegativeRole1:47

Chris Olave's Week 9 value depends on Jordan Tyson's playing time and target distribution. Olave has dominated targets over the past season and a half but has not played with a good teammate; Tyson's return could affect target vacillation similar to a Harold Fannon Jr. situation. Jackson Smith-Jigbman will be very interested to see what Tyson's playing time and target distribution look like.

Insight page

Christian Kirk

NegativeProjection30:30

Christian Kirk is ranked 53 in Week 9 wide receiver rankings.

Insight page

Christian Watson

PositiveProjection3:53

Ranked one spot ahead of Matthew Golden for Week 9 vs Patriots and consistently ranked as top-12 to top-15 wide receiver. Watson has been slightly better than Golden this year and has struggled with drops less frequently than Golden.

Insight page

D.J. Moore

PositiveProjection12:34

Ranked WR20 against Minnesota; Jackson Smith Jigbman argues this ranking could be low. Moore has barely played with Josh Allen this season, but when he has, he has smashed: Week 1 vs Houston (5 rec, 101 yards), Week 4 vs Chargers (6 rec, 67 yards), Week 7 vs Baltimore (4 rec, 82 yards, 1 TD on 66% snaps). Despite concerns about Moore's talent, Josh Allen's elite play elevates Moore to mid-tier WR status. Smith feels very good about starting him in the dome game this week.

Insight page

Deebo Samuel

PositiveInjury19:24

Jackson Smith Jigbman expects Deebo Samuel to be active this week based on practice reports, positioning him in the E tier for Week 9. With the 49ers at a 31-point team total (highest of the week), Smith Jigbman expresses strong conviction: "I have a feeling about Debo Samuel." He notes Deebo would move down if Mike Evans returns, but maintains conviction on the play given the elite team total and stack opportunity with McCaffrey and Brandon Aiyuk.

Insight page

Demario Douglas

PositiveRole23:20

Jackson Smith Jigbman calls Demario Douglas 'one of the calls I really like this week,' citing strong route participation upside against Green Bay Packers with AJ Brown out. Smith expresses conviction based on film study: 'When I watch the New England Patriots, his performance and his statistics and the way he runs routes just seem to be impressive to me.' Douglas has earned more targets per route run than Garrett Wilson when both are on the field, signaling elite target efficiency and chemistry with Drake Maye.

Insight page

Denzel Boston

NegativeProjection24:39

Jackson Smith Jigbman ranks Denzel Boston at 38, aligned with market projections and only 1-1.5 points difference from Jameson Dotson. Boston's target-earning has been strong but he has not cashed in on touchdowns recently. The Browns offense is inefficient and unpredictable—one of Njoku, Dotson, or Boston will likely have a good week, but subpar quarterback play makes it hard for multiple pass catchers to succeed simultaneously.

Insight page

Drake London

PositiveMatchup0:22

Drake London is ranked in the B-tier for Week 9 with a favorable matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals defense, which is improved but tends to play in back-and-forth shootout games. However, London has averaged only 13.7 points per game this season, which Jackson Smith-Jigbman finds disappointing.

Insight page

Garrett Wilson

PositiveProjection11:11

Ranked WR19 with a low 19-point team total for the Jets. Received 10 targets last week (emphasis on scripted drives), but Jackson Smith Jigbman identifies a core ceiling issue: Gino Smith heavily favors Adonai Mitchell and loves the throws and routes Mitchell runs. Mitchell's elite ability to get open and the quarterback/coach/offense's belief in him creates target competition that limits Wilson's ceiling despite forced early-game volume.

Insight page

George Pickens

NegativeUsage7:08

Ranked WR16 vs Indianapolis Colts. Routes and snaps have trended down significantly: 57% snaps vs Arizona, 60% vs Eagles. Jackson Smith-Jigbman is worried about Pickens from fantasy perspective because Steelers are not playing him as much and not letting him run as many routes due to injury concerns. With Pittsburgh likely to win big vs Indianapolis, limited route volume makes him uninteresting despite favorable matchup.

Insight page

Ja'Marr Chase

PositiveProjection0:06

Jamar Chase is ranked in the A-tier for Week 9 wide receiver rankings, alongside Puka Nakua and CD Lamb.

Insight page

Jalen Coker

PositiveUsage13:33

Jackson Smith Jigbman notes systemic concerns about the Texans offense overall, but Coker has been impressive at earning targets in most games (less so vs Green Bay). Coker did score a touchdown in that Green Bay game, demonstrating his ability to produce despite offensive limitations. His target-earning ability stands out relative to the offense's overall constraints.

Insight page

Jameson Williams

NegativeProjection17:30

Jackson Smith Jigbman ranked Jameson Williams at WR25 for Week 9 despite averaging 14.4 points per game. The primary reason for the lower ranking is significant play volume concerns; Smith Jigbman noted the Detroit Lions could run as few as 45 plays in the game, and a single long touchdown from Jalen Gibbs combined with an 8-minute field goal drive by the Dolphins could severely limit Williams' fantasy output.

Insight page

Jaylen Waddle

PositiveProjection16:16

Ranked in the D tier for Week 9. While Waddle's target earning and peripheral metrics (targets per route run) are solid and he finally scored a touchdown, Jackson Smith Jigbman cited his inability to generate yards after catch and the Broncos' QB situation as primary concerns. Smith attributes Waddle's poor season performance not to the receiver but to Sean Payton's scheme and Bo Nix's inability to throw downfield, which limits Waddle's upside despite solid target metrics.

Insight page

Jordan Addison

NegativeProjection27:00

Jackson Smith Jigbman ranks Jordan Addison at 42 with a blanket statement: 'We just don't want to start Vikings,' indicating general avoidance of Vikings pass catchers this week.

Insight page

Jordyn Tyson

NegativeUsage1:07

Jordan Tyson is ranked 44 in Week 9. Jackson Smith Jigbman anticipates he will not have fulltime route participation this week and will be eased in gradually, similar to how Rashi Rice was handled—running about half the routes but with high targets per route run.

Insight page

Justin Jefferson

NegativeProjection5:14

Ranked WR14 this week due to much lower ceiling in fantasy football right now. Despite 96% and 93% snap shares over most recent two weeks, produced only 8 and 14 points. Jackson Smith-Jigbman attributes this to Kyler Murray and Vikings' conservative, defensive-forward offensive scheme under Kevin O'Connell, not Jefferson's talent. Low-volume offense limits upside though Jefferson averages 14.4 PPG. However, Bills matchup offers potential: they're a bad defense with no pass rush or shutdown corners, and if Murray gets 42+ dropbacks, Jefferson could have a huge blowup game. Rumors of potential QB changes (Daniel Jones, Carson Wentz, or Jacobe Prescott) add uncertainty.

Insight page

Keenan Allen

NegativeProjection23:06

Jackson Smith Jigbman expresses frustration with Keenan Allen's unpredictability against the Dallas Cowboys, noting the Chargers' offensive dysfunction makes it impossible to project his performance: "Who knows what Keenan Allen's going to do. Like is he going to go seven for 67 or is he going to go three for 31?" Smith Jigbman explicitly states the Chargers "will do very little of scoring touchdown against the Dallas Cowboys," eliminating TD upside. Allen will see full route participation, but the offense is too broken to trust.

Insight page

Kyle Williams

NegativeRole17:50

Kyle Williams was expected to replace AJ Brown's routes in the Eagles offense, but Elton Chisum has taken that role instead. Williams could be moved down in rankings if M. Collins is activated from designated return IR this week. Williams is ranked in the top 50 and delivered on Jackson Smith Jigbman's prediction last week with 1 target, 1 catch, and a 42-yard touchdown.

Insight page

Ladd McConkey

NegativeProjection21:18

Jackson Smith Jigbman ranks Ladd McConkey at 8.6 PPG and explicitly fades him for Week 9 due to an "insanely difficult defensive matchup" against Dallas and the Chargers' offensive dysfunction. Smith Jigbman notes Justin Herbert is "playing like the worst quarterback in the NFL this year" and sees no near-term improvement for the Chargers offense, concluding: "I will not be doing that" (starting McConkey).

Insight page

Luther Burden

PositiveBreakout5:44

Ranked WR13 for Week 9 vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Described as undeniably talented with route participation increasing and more snaps in 11 and 12 personnel with Cole Kmet out. Over most recent three weeks, posted consecutive finishes of WR14, WR7, and WR8. On season in full PPR, ranks as overall WR12. Jackson Smith-Jigbman emphasizes: You cannot bench him in fantasy football and wants to be ahead of market on Burden in dynasty. Sometimes talent is just so undeniable and there's only so much a coach can do to keep a player from truly breaking out.

Insight page

Malik Nabers

PositiveProjection0:45

Malik Nabers is ranked in the B-tier for Week 9 against the Philadelphia Eagles. Jackson Smith-Jigbman has been high on Nabers most of the year and feels very good about him as a start this week.

Insight page

Malik Washington

PositiveMatchup25:19

Jackson Smith Jigbman has no issue with starting Malik Washington, who is coming off a touchdown game and gets an elite matchup against the Detroit Lions. Washington is one of four Dolphins primary pass catchers (Washington, Douglas, Bell, Doulsich) who each had 5-6 targets last week.

Insight page

Matthew Golden

NegativeBust4:14

Leads NFL in drops and has extraordinary unrealized air yards total, suggesting he is frequently targeted on deep passes he fails to catch. Jackson Smith-Jigbman notes Golden's unrealized air yards lead is on pace to set an NFL record. However, if Golden improves catch consistency, he could become a top-24 fantasy player next season.

Insight page

Michael Wilson

NegativeMatchup17:13

Jackson Smith Jigbman stated he would have ranked Michael Wilson higher in his Week 9 rankings, but two factors prevented this: a miserable matchup against the Seattle Seahawks defense and Wilson playing with two broken ribs. The injury and defensive matchup combination significantly downgraded his ranking despite his underlying talent.

Insight page

Mike Evans

NegativeInjury19:24

Jackson Smith Jigbman expects Mike Evans to miss Week 9 based on practice reports, removing him from the rankings entirely. If Smith Jigbman's reading is incorrect and Evans does return, he would rank Evans in the C tier alongside Washington, Pickens, Rice, Tee Higgins, and Garrett Wilson.

Insight page

Nico Collins

PositiveRole2:30

Ranked at WR10 for Week 9 vs Chargers. With Jayla Null now on season-ending IR, Collins could see increased slot routes and horizontal crossing routes, providing more favorable opportunities given Tank Dell's expected 15-20% route participation ceiling. Jackson Smith-Jigbman will be looking for whether Collins gets any routes out of the slot moving forward.

Insight page

Omar Cooper Jr.

PositiveProjection1:34

Omar Cooper Jr. was initially ranked 47 but Jackson Smith Jigbman moved him up approximately 8 spots ahead of Elton Chisum. However, Jigbman ranks AD Mitchell over Cooper Jr., reasoning that it would not be logical to rank three New York Jets players as top 36 wide receivers, and he expects Cooper Jr. to be third in line among Jets receivers.

Insight page

Parker Washington

NegativeUsage6:32

Ranked WR15 for Week 9 vs Ravens. Primary concern is minimal fourth-quarter usage: only 33 routes run in fourth quarter all season. Jaguars are massive favorites against Ravens (starting undrafted free agent QB from Yukon), meaning game will likely be decided early and running backs (Toutton, Chris Rodriguez Jr., Kent Allen, Amir Abdul) will dominate touches in blowout situations. Jackson Smith-Jigbman warns that unless Washington has an insane first quarter, limited fourth-quarter involvement limits his ceiling in what should be a lopsided contest. While Washington could have huge game if he eats in first half, fourth-quarter volume has been minimal.

Insight page

Puka Nacua

PositiveProjection0:06

Puka Nakua is ranked in the A-tier for Week 9 wide receiver rankings, alongside CD Lamb and Jamar Chase.

Insight page

Ryan Flournoy

PositiveValue24:18

Jackson Smith Jigbman gives Ryan Flournoy his highest weekly ranking of the season against Indianapolis Colts in a dome game. He capitulated on Flournoy due to George Pickens and Jake Ferguson being limited/out, making Flournoy's target-earning potential and route share look excellent. Flournoy is essentially a top-40 wide receiver in this matchup.

Insight page

Stefon Diggs

NegativeValue18:08

Jackson Smith Jigbman ranked Stefon Diggs at WR26 for Week 9 against the Rams. While Diggs will score more fantasy points per target and is the more efficient receiver, the Commanders coaching staff has limited his snap share to 51-66% of offensive snaps (the same range as against the Eagles) to avoid overloading him with McLaren out. Despite this snap limitation, Smith Jigbman has Diggs as a start, expecting good passing volume.

Insight page

Tee Higgins

PositiveMatchup2:21

Ranked in B-tier for Week 9 vs Atlanta Falcons. Coming off an absolute smash performance with 27.8 team total for Cincinnati Bengals. Jackson Smith-Jigbman states there is no scenario where you should bench Higgins this week.

Insight page

Tre Tucker

PositiveProjection28:12

Trey Tucker is ranked 45 after an airball performance with 1 target, 0 receptions, 0 yards. Jackson Smith Jigbman notes Tucker is not that good himself, though he has a nice target-earning profile. The bigger issue is Jack Besh returned from designated return IR and may be a better target earner than Tucker, creating competition.

Insight page

Xavier Worthy

NegativeProjection30:03

Xavier Worthy is ranked 50th in Jackson Smith Jigbman's Week 9 wide receiver rankings. Jackson Smith Jigbman. Then's assessment is blunt: 'This dude stinks.'

Insight page

Zay Flowers

NegativeProjection0:12

Jackson Smith-Jigbman ranks Zay Flowers at WR22 with extensive start/sit analysis. Last week vs Buffalo, Flowers ran every route on 82% of snaps but had 5 targets, 0 receptions, 0 yards. Smith argues Flowers is nearly impossible to bench in 12-team leagues (2 RB, 2-3 WR, 1-2 flex) due to his talent and expected role in short-area targets. However, raw stat projections from Runthesims.com are not great. Smith compares the weekly uncertainty to players like Casey Coughlin, Nico Collins (with Davis Mills), and Justin Jefferson (with Josh Dobbs)—high-talent players with volatile weekly production. Despite projection concerns, Smith did not bench Flowers in any of his personal leagues, citing the risk of benching him and missing a touchdown. Smith prefers Debo Samuel over Flowers this week, citing the Ravens' 15-point team total (over double the 49ers' 31-point total) and the downgrade at QB with Lamar Jackson, explicitly stating: 'I don't want to start Z Flowers with Joey F at quarterback.'

0:00All right, I'm not going to lie to you guys. This is a very difficult week for wide receiver rankings. In week nine, we
0:06of course begin with Jackson Smith Jigbman. Then the A tier is Puka Nakua, CD Lamb, Jamar Chase, and I'm on Raj St.
0:12Brown. You guys might notice that Z Flowers is not in there. We are going to talk more about Z Flowers. A little bit
0:17later in the video, we are going to figure out all the start set decisions that you need to make with your fantasy
0:22football team at the wide receiver position. So, let's go ahead and go on this journey. The B tier begins with Drake London. really good matchup
0:29against the Cincinnati Bengals. The Bengals defense is much better. They are much improved, but they are just really getting into these back and forth
0:35shootout games. Drake London only 13.7 points per game this year. A little bit disappointing to me. Um, you know, my guy Jinxy has Drake London, so I really
0:43am hoping that he has a good game here.
0:45Malik Neighbors against the Philadelphia Eagles. Pretty low total in this game, but a fairly healthy team total, at least in terms of what I was expecting
0:52for the New York Giants. You guys know I have been very high on Malik Neighbors for most of the year. There was a little
0:57bit of a period, I will admit, when Jackson Dark got hurt, when I lost the faith a little bit, and I'm glad I did
1:02not end up selling on Malik Neighbors on too many of my Spanish football teams. I feel very good about him as a start this
1:07week. Chris Alave, Jordan Tyson does look like he is trending towards playing this week. I'll be very interested to see what his playing time is like. I'll
1:15be very interested to see what the target distribution is like because if you look at what Chris Ave has done in
1:20Vantage football over the most recent season and a half. He's absolutely dominated targets, but he has not played with a single good teammate. You know,
1:27the best teammate that he has played with is Devon Bailey. This is to me kind of not that dissimilar from like a well
1:34appropriate enough for this game. Kind of like a Harold Fannon Jr. situation where I think the target volume is going to vacasillate for Chris A based on how
1:41good Jordan Tyson is playing. T. Higgins against the Atlanta Falcons at nine.
1:45Coming off an absolute smash. 27.8 team total for the Cincinnati Bengals.
1:50No scenario where you're benching these guys. Nico Collins against the Chargers.
1:54I have down at 10. I mean basically the Chargers are just so pathetic that teams don't even have to score against them.
2:00Teams like basically do not have to try against the Chargers and that's a really frustrating thing. One thing I'll be really looking for with Collins this
2:08week in terms of ranking him moving forward though will be does he get any routes out of the slot because Jayla
2:13Null is now on the season ending IR.
2:16Tank Dell I think is going to like max out at like 15 20% route participation in this spot against the Chargers. So
2:22with Marvin Harrison Jr. and Quan Booty and Xavier Hutchinson as the other primary wide receivers, it would make sense to give Nico Collins you know some
2:29more layups and some more horizontal crossing routes out of the slot.
2:33Christian Watson against the Patriots. I do have him ranked one spot ahead of Matthew Golden. This is how I've determined I'm going to keep my sanity
2:40and keep you guys happy is I'm going to consistently rank Watson and Golden as top 12, top 15 wide receivers both in a
2:47given week and for the rest of the season. And I'm going to rank generally Christian Watson one spot ahead. He has
2:54been slightly better this year. He has struggled with drops a little bit less than Golden has. Although Golden, I mean, his lead in terms of unrealized
3:02area yards is going to be one of the most unbelievable things we've ever seen. I I don't know how long the
3:08playbyplay nextg stats tracking goes, but I would guess Matthew Golden is on pace to set an NFL record for unrealized area yards. If you don't know what that
3:16is, it's actually a very simple stat.
3:19Are yards subtracted by the target. So, he's targeted on a 50 yard pass. He doesn't catch it. It's an unrealized area. You add that up, you add that up,
3:27you add that up, and that is what you get with the Matthew Golden experience because Matthew Golden uh also leads the
3:31NFL in drops. Obviously, part of that is that the guy's always open. If he gets a little bit more consistent at the catch
3:38point, I mean, there's every chance that Matthew Golden is like a top 24 player in fantasy football next season. I I
3:44feel really good about both these guys against the Patriots. I would guess that it is going to be Watson that gets the
3:50Christian Gonzalez assignment. That wouldn't mean that I'm not going to start him. Just something to be aware of as you are setting your lineups. Luther
3:56Burden against the Tempe Buccaneers. I have at wide receiver 13. Again, I'm going to guess that's very high.
4:02Although, hey, respect my goat Mason Dodd. We have the same ranking for him this week. Basically, I don't care about the second half stuff. I don't care
4:10about Roma Dunay like you know, finally coming good a little bit. Luther Burton is so unbelievably good. He is undeniable. His route participation did
4:19increase. He played a little bit more in both 11 and 12 personnel last week with Cole KT out. Khalif Raymond is still
4:25sort of annoying in that regard. J Walker still kind of annoying. Sam Rous is still kind of annoying. However, my overall takeaway from Luther Burden's
4:33consecutive wide receiver 14, wide receiver 7, wide receiver eight finish over the most recent three weeks is sometimes talent is just so undeniable.
4:42There's only so much a coach can do to keep a player from truly breaking out.
4:46And it's true that Ben Johnson, you know, keeps giving these touchdowns to DeAndre Swift, keeps playing Roma Dun, keeps playing Cle Raymond. It basically
4:54doesn't matter. Luther Burden now on the season in full PPR is the overall wide receiver 12. Uh he is just too good. He
5:02is simply too good. You cannot bench him in fantasy football. Uh I I just I want to be in on Luther Burton this week,
5:08every week. Dynasty, I I just want to be ahead of market on Luther Burton. And then Justin Jefferson I do have down at
5:14wide receiver 14. This is just an exception of, you know, I I am just accepting reality that Justin Jefferson has a much lower ceiling in fantasy
5:23football right now. 96 and 93% snaps the most recent two weeks. He's turned that into eight points and 14 points. My
5:30personal opinion would be this is not Justin Jefferson's fault. This is almost exclusively the fault of Kyler Murray.
5:36It's a low volume offense. I mean, that is one of the things that I do think is sort of most interesting about the way
5:42that Kevin Oonnell has reconfigured his offense without Sam Darnold, without Kurt Cousins, you know. Um, basically what he has decided to do is we are
5:51going to play this very conservative, very defensive forward style of football, which I would guess is not even what he wants to do. I would guess
6:00it's just how he thinks the team has the best chance to win. But it's clearly been very bad for Jefferson. TJ Hawinson
6:06continues to be a big part of the Minnesota Vikings passing game. I am worried about Justin Jefferson moving forward. I I think it's going to be
6:14really hard to find a way for him to pay off his overall fantasy football cost.
6:18But again, you're not benching Justin Jefferson, right? I mean, 14.4 points per game is is it's certainly not what you paid on draft day, but it's not that
6:27it's like not terrible. It's not a guy you you'd want to have on your bench.
6:30And this is actually a very good matchup against the Bills who are a very bad defense. Sort of given up to everyone.
6:35Bills don't really have a pass rush.
6:37They don't really have any like shut down corners. They just cut one of their starting corner CJ Cardar Johnson this most recent week. Like if this is a
6:45situation where we end up seeing 42 dropbacks from Kyler Murray. It could be a huge blowup game for Justin Jefferson.
6:52There's also been rumors that the team is interested in trading for Daniel Jones or Carson Wentz. they or sorry uh or or they actually were in the
6:59conversation for Jacobe Presc but they've been making calls car that the the talk on Carson Wentz was not that they're trading for him he's their
7:05backup it would be that this quote unquote hamstring injury for Kyler Murray might be turning the offense over to Carson Wentz which actually kind of
7:12makes sense honestly if you are the Minnesota Vikings you're like well we're winning because of our defense anyways so maybe let's just go ahead and get rid
7:20of uh you know just if KOC doesn't like Kyler let's go ahead and start Carson Wentz who he knows that he can have a
7:27functional offense with. That is the B tier. Moving to the Ctier, you might notice we still have not talked about Z
7:32Flowers. We'll we'll be getting there. I have Parker Washington at 15. The only reason why I have Parker Washington this low, I've got a crazy stat, which is
7:40that Parker Washington is only run 33 routes in the fourth quarter of games this year. Guess what? They're a bazillion point favorites against the
7:48Baltimore Ravens starting a undrafted free agent quarterback out of Yukon. The backup options are Cadence Slovis and Austin Reed. They're going to get
7:56absolutely Molly WP in this game. I would anticipate, you know, if Toutton is able to play with this ankle injury or or either Chris Rodriguez Jr. or Kent
8:04Allen or Amir Abdul, these guys are going to get a bazillion touches, the Jaguars are going to absolutely tee off on the Ravens offense. So, obviously,
8:11you're not benching Parker Washington, but I don't think unless Parker Washington has an insane like first quarter, which could happen, right?
8:17That's kind of the interesting thing about the way the Jacksonville Jaguars offense works is whoever does happen to eat in the first half can have a huge
8:24game, but there just has been very little playing in the fourth quarter.
8:28George Pickkins against the Indianapolis Colts I have down at 16. His routes and snaps have trended down. He only played 50 uh he only played 57% of the snaps
8:37last week against Arizona, 60% of the snaps against the Eagles. Uh looks like I'm right in the middle of ranking him
8:43on the site on flockfantasy.com. You guys can sign up over there using code Davis. Get access to all my stuff and
8:49get your trade questions answered over there. I'm worried about Pickkins from a fantasy football sense just in that they're not playing him as much and
8:57they're not letting him run as many routes because he's banged up and they're probably going to win this game by a billion against Indian. Oh well, it
9:02actually would be very Cowboys to lose this game and it would also be kind of Colts to win this game after they've
9:07like given up on the season and traded everyone away. The deal for me with George Pickkins is if he's only running
9:1260% of the routes, I I'm just not really I'm just not really interested. Uh Rashi Rice I have at wide receiver 17. He came
9:18back as a part-time participant last week, only played 57% of the snaps. Uh overall 36 of the Kansas City Chiefs offensive plays, but he turned in 7 for
9:2853 and one. He clearly is the key cog in their passing offense. Probably not going to be a ton of dropbacks against
9:34the Jets this week, but whatever dropbacks they do have, I would expect Rice to lead this team in targets. Some people, including myself, thought there
9:40would be a chance for a secondary, you know, thirdyear breakout for Xavier Worthy. That is not happening. The team has not traded for Josh DS or Brian
9:47Thomas Jr. or George Pickkins or Keenan Allen or Stefon Diggs or any of these guys yet. So, I don't think they're
9:52going to before the start of this game, which means that we should be in for 70% rap participation and a strong target
9:58volume. I I I was very down on Rice after the first three games of the season where it just looked like Kenneth
10:03Walker was going to be the sun and the moon and the stars. But Taekquin going out actually is also bullish for Rice
10:09because it basically just means there's just going to be these slow, boring drives. Like the Chiefs offense that that we saw for the first three games of
10:16the season, that's gone. It's over.
10:17They're they're not good on offense anymore. It's very brutal to watch. And the Chiefs not being good on offense anymore is actually very good for Rashi
10:24Rice. PPR scamming. Teneroy McMillan just a really tough matchup here against the Denver Broncos coming off of a relatively down game for him. uh you
10:33know generates 11 targets but only has six for 58. The Carolina Panthers are missing two of their starting offensive linemen. Bryce Young just looked like he
10:40had no chance against the Packers and that was the Packers. That's a very bad defense. The Denver Broncos is a very
10:45good defense. I'm pretty worried about some just like overall systemic risk for the Carolina Panthers. You know, Bryce Young was playing so well for that first
10:55month of the season. So Coker was looking great, Ted was looking great, Hubard was looking great. we were getting, you know, 50-yard Darren Waller
11:01touchdowns and things like that. And with the offensive line playing so bad and Bryce not really being able to extend these plays, which is what I I
11:08sort of thought the whole point of Bryce Young would be the continued extension of plays, but we just have seen very
11:14very little of that in the most recent two games. So, I think this is a fair ranking for Tedoy McMillan. Garrett
11:19Wilson, I've ranked here uh very low team total for them at wide receiver 19 and then a 19 point team total. We're
11:26going to get to Adnai Mitchell and Omar Cooper Jr. But I do think a real problem for Garrett Wilson. And he did get the
11:31targets last week as my co-host on Thinking about DFS said, you know, Garrett Wilson for sure told Gino and Frank Reich, he said, "You guys do not
11:38want to live in a world where I don't get 10 targets in this game, so you better figure out a way to get me 10
11:42targets." And they did. It was clearly an emphasis on their first two scripted drives to use Garrett Wilson. But the issue for Garrett Wilson, and this is
11:49just my opinion, and you can disagree with me, is that Gino Smith just loves throwing to Adnai Mitchell. He loves to
11:55make the type of throws for the routes that Adnai Mitchell runs. Adnai Mitchell is so gifted at getting open and it's
12:02probably very gratifying for Adnai Mitchell to have a quarterback and a coach and an offense that believes in him. For the first time ever, if you go
12:09look at the way he was treated by the Indianapolis Colts, like what a miserable loser way to treat a very talented wide receiver. Like I I I will
12:17never understand the Indianapolis Colts giving up on Adnai Mitchell in that trade. certainly would not have been what I would have done. You know, I
12:23think the right way to treat a guy like Adnai Mitchell is to put your arm around him and and really big him up. That is
12:28not what the Indianapolis Colts chose to do. And now the New York Jets are reaping the rewards of that. DJ Moore, I
12:34have ranked at wide receiver 20 here against the Minnesota Vikings. I think you could argue that this is actually low. DJ Moore has barely played with
12:41Josh Allen this year. And when he has played with Josh Allen, much to my chagrin because I was not a fan of DJ
12:47Moores coming into this season, he has smashed. So week one against Houston, he gets full snaps. He is 5 for 101. He
12:54gets injured against Detroit. He comes back against the Chargers, has 6 for 67.
12:59He gets injured in the second quarter against the Patriots. He's injured. He's injured. He comes back against Baltimore. Only plays 66% of the snaps.
13:06Has four for 82 and one. I don't think DJ Moore is any good anymore. But that basically doesn't matter because Josh
13:13Allen is so good that just via the power of friendship, he can power DJ Moore to be like a mid-tier wide receiver, too.
13:19That's exactly what he's going to be in this spot. I feel very good about starting DJ Moore in the dome game this
13:24week. Jaylen Coker, we just talked about it with Ted Roy McMillan, but just overall systemic concerns for me about this offense, but Coker has just been so
13:33good at earning targets. I mean, really, like if you just look at the way he's earned targets in most of these games,
13:37it's been very, very impressive. Uh, not as impressive against Green Bay, but does get the touchdown there. And then finally, we get to Z Flowers. This is
13:46the best I could do. Wide receiver 22.
13:49He played and ran every route last week against the Buffalo Bills with uh with Joey F. 82% of the snaps, five targets,
13:57zero receptions, zero yards. I think if you're it's almost impossible in my mind to like bench Z Flowers in a 12 team
14:05league where you start two running backs, two wide receivers, and two flexes or three wide receivers, one flex. Like, do I want to start Denzel
14:13Boston over Z Flowers? I think that's too I think that's just too hard. I don't really think you could do that. I
14:18think this is exactly what you do in your fantasy football league. I think you look at your starts at decision, whether it be Zay Flowers and a running
14:25back, Z Flowers and a wide receiver you drafted later, you know, Z Flowers verse Fton Chisum, and you ask yourself, what
14:32will I be more mad about? I start Z Flowers and he has one catch for 17 yards or I bench Z Flowers and he has
14:40four receptions for 42 yards, but he finds a way to score a touchdown. I think that's the question you have to
14:44ask yourself. I mean, ultimately, Flowers is so good that I would guess a huge part of the Ravens game plan is
14:51going to be a bunch of short area targets. I looked at the projections in terms of just like the raw stat
14:56projections for Z Flowers on Runthesims.com.
15:00They're not great. You know, the the overall raw projection in terms of what he is expected to do from the market and
15:05from like an advanced statistical perspective is is not great. But I just think I feel very similarly to Flowers about how I feel on a weekly basis about like
15:14Casey Conpsion or or um you know just like when these guy Nico Collins when he was playing with Davis Mills you know
15:22Justin Jefferson when he was playing with uh what was the guy from Jiren Hall you know Josh Dobs things like that it's
15:28like you just be more annoyed in the end and we know that we're getting Jacobe Brassette so it's not like we need to
15:33panic and drop Z Flowers or trade Z Flowers away. Um, it's it's clearly the biggest start set question of the week,
15:39which is why I'm spending so much time on it. And I went through all my teams to where I had Z Flowers before I did
15:45this video because, you know, a big thing for me is I want you guys to feel that I am giving you honest answers as
15:52to what I would do with your fantasy football teams the way that I would treat my own fantasy football teams. And
15:57you know, I have a lot of fantasy football teams. I play Dynasty. I play I play everything. I did not find a single
16:04league where my team was good enough to bench Z Flowers. Doesn't mean I wouldn't do it, right? Doesn't mean that it's
16:10even the right decision, but that is ultimately where I landed is Z Flowers as wide receiver 22 and that ends the C
16:17tier. Moving to the D tier, we have Jaylen Wadd, who again I I have talked about a bunch in videos this week. It's
16:23like, okay, he finally scores a touchdown. The targets per route run, all the peripheral stuff with Jaylen Wadd is good. The issue is he basically
16:30is not playing up to his absolute, you know, capability in terms of like ability to generate yards after catch and things like that. His target earning
16:38has been fine. The huge issue with the Denver Broncos is that Bo Knicks is bad and and like am I a little bit biased
16:45against Bick? Sure. I mean, I remember watching this guy at Auburn. I watched this guy a ton in college, right, at at
16:50Oregon as well. And I did not think he was going to be a good pro. I really thought they were overrated last year. I
16:57am of course a Kansas City Chiefs fan.
16:58So a little bit of natural distaste towards the Denver Broncos. I won't pretend. If any fantasy football analyst tries to pretend to you that they are
17:05not biased, they're absolutely lying to you. So I will just try and be as honest with you guys as I can. But Bo Nicks's
17:11inability to throw the ball down the field and his proclivity to throw to the nearest pass catcher to him is just
17:18clearly very bad for Jaylen Model. And it's also part of why Courtland Sutton has been so bad. I mean, obviously there's a a ton of age related decline
17:25for Courtland Sutton as well, but very clearly in my mind, Wadd having this miserable season is not entirely his fault. It's definitely partially on
17:33Shawn Payeyton and very much on Bo Knicks, but I I feel comfortable with Wadd here. Michael Wilson, I would have ranked higher, but it's a miserable
17:42matchup against that insane uh Seahawks defense, and he is playing with two broken ribs. Uh again, you could argue to rank him higher. probably wouldn't
17:50argue against you too much. Jameson Williams, again, the only reason why I have him down here at 25, averaging 14.4 points per game. I have like some crazy
17:59play volume concerns here. Like the Detroit Lions could maybe run like 45 plays in this game. Seriously, like one long touchdown from Jir Gibbs and then
18:08an 8minute field goal drive by the Dolphins and you are like cursing the heavens that you started Jameson Williams. Ston Diggs against the Rams at
18:1526. I ranked him and Antonio Williams backto back. So Diggs, I think, is obviously going to score more fantasy points per target. I think he's going to
18:23be the much more efficient wide receiver. But Antonio Williams for the rest of the season, hot take. He Well, actually, not a hot take. He for sure is
18:31going to lead them in snaps and routes, and it might end up being kind of close between who earns more targets between
18:37Diggs and Williams. Diggs, I think, is obviously going to score more touchdowns. Diggs is a better player, but the commander coaching staff was
18:44like true to what they said, which is, hey, we are not going to put any more on Diggs' plate with McLaren out. Like, we
18:50know what he can get and that has been the case. Every game this year, he has played between 51 and 66% of the
18:56offensive snaps. That was the exact range he was in against the Eagles.
18:59That's the exact range he is going to be in here. But I have both Williams and Diggs as starts here. I think the
19:05passing volume should be pretty good for this offense here. I don't think they're going to be able to run a ton against
19:10the Rams with Rashad White, Austin Eckler, and Robert Henry Jr. as their running backs. Then I have Casey Conpsion um in the dome here against the
19:17Saints. I've just decided very similar to the Jets, guys. I think I am just going to rank Conpsion higher than Denzel Boston most weeks unless
19:26there's a very specific matchup related concern. Uh Shadur Sanders is going to be starting this game, not Deshawn Watson, for the Cleveland Browns. It's
19:33probably slightly better for Conpsion. A little bit more of a checkdown artist.
19:37Watson's a little bit more comfortable throwing it deep than um [ __ ] Sanders is. So that is the D tier. Moving to the
19:44E tier. Pretty wide here. Debo Samuel.
19:46You guys might notice I don't have Mike Evans in the rankings. My expectation based on reading the practice reports is that Debo is going to be back this week
19:53and Evans is not going to be back this week. If I'm reading that wrong, obviously Mike Evans to me would be in
19:59the C tier there with Washington, Pickkins, Rice, Tet, uh, Garrett Wilson.
20:04Debo would move down. Debo would probably move down either to the bottom of this tier or to the next tier entirely. We'll see what happens there.
20:11But insane team total, 31 point team total, highest team total of the week for the San Francisco 49ers. So I I'm
20:18all in. I mean, and if all these guys go, like I mean, McCaffrey, KD, Perie, Debo, Evan, like you you want you want
20:24all these guys in your lineup. Like I think Debo is still like honestly here's here's a good one. If you guys really
20:30ask me in the comments, you said Davis, I have Debo Samuel. I have a feeling about Debo Samuel. I don't want to start
20:36Z Flowers with Joey F at quarterback.
20:38I'll say okay. All right, man. You know, that is the way it is. These these these decisions are so close. Fantasy football
20:43is supposed to be fun. I think leaning on team total is fine. a 15-point team total for the Baltimore Ravens, over
20:50double the team total for the San Francisco 49ers. I I would say, hey, that's fine, man. If if you want to go
20:55that way, like there's very little between these two players. Mai Lemon, I have a 30. Low team total here, but really good volume earning for Lemon. 91
21:04and 94% snap shares, eight targets, nine targets, back-to-back games. Again, honestly, kind of similar to the Flowers play where it's like, yeah, the team
21:11sucks and they're not going to score very much, but the volume is absolutely there for this guy. Lad Mani 8.6 points
21:18per game. Insanely difficult defensive matchup. The Chargers suck. You know, shout out to Lad for grinding out four for 86. Justin Herbert is playing like
21:26the worst quarterback in the NFL this year. So, it's not even one of those situations where you can sell yourself on like kind of a miraculous like, oh my
21:33gosh, the offense got so much better here. I don't think things are going to get any better for the Chargers. Maybe
21:38you do think things are going to get better for the Chargers, in which case, yeah, you should start Lad Mani, but I
21:43will I will not be doing that. Adnai Mitchell IV up at 32. I'm gonna guess that's way high relative to all the
21:48other. Wow. Shout out shout out to Mason and shout out to Avery for joining me on team 80 Mitchell coming off of the nine
21:55target, seven reception, 142 yard, one touchdown game. Uh the Kansas City Chiefs have no defensive backs to get really afraid of. They're not able to
22:02generate much pass rush either. I can easily see the Jets crossing their 19 point team total here. And I said this
22:08in the rest of season wide receiver ranks video, but I just have made the decision. I will be ranking Adnai Mitchell ahead of Omar Cooper Jr. on a
22:15given week. I will be trying to find starting spots in my line of Brad Nye Mitchell. I think he is a better target
22:20earning receiver at this stage of their careers. Omar Cooper Jr. very well. I mean, maybe this dude's a first ballot hall of famer. I don't know. But what I
22:26know is that Gino and AD Mitchell have phenomenally good chemistry right now.
22:30When Adnai Mitchell has been on the field this year with Garrett Wilson, right, a former first round pick, a former first round pick in fantasy.
22:37Adnai Mitchell has earned more targets per route run than Garrett Wilson. When they have been on the field together, so that means when Gino drops back and AD
22:45Mitchell and Garrett Wilson are both running routes, it has been more likely that Adnai Mitchell will receive a target than Garrett Wilson. I think
22:51that's pretty impressive stuff. I I just have always thought Adnai Mitchell is better than the Colts did and it feels very nice to see this performance from
23:00him. So I have him ranked at wide receiver 32. Keenan Allen just like again having having to worst part of my
23:06job which I love my job. I love you guys. Thank you for watching. Thank you for hanging out. Seriously couldn't could not appreciate anyone who watches
23:13this channel um any more than that.
23:16However, talking about the Indianapolis Colts and talking about the Los Angeles Chargers is like easily the worst part of my job. Like who knows what Keenan
23:24Allen's going to do. Like is he going to go seven for 67 or is he going to go three for 31? We certainly know he's not
23:30going to score a touchdown. This team is going to do very little of scoring touchdown against the Dallas Cowboys.
23:34But Keenan will be out there for full routes. Good for him. Uh Deario Douglas, one of the calls I really like this
23:40week. I think with no AJ Brown and in this spot, I I really like the potential route participation for Demario Douglas
23:47against the Green Bay Packers. He to me also there's just um there's kind of this element where when I watch the New
23:53York P uh the New York Patriots, the New England Patriots, his performance and his statistics and the way he runs routes just seem to be impressive to me.
24:01Like when I watch the Patriots and I see him execute a play successfully, I'm like, "Yeah, that play was always going
24:07to work." I don't know if you guys ever have that with players where their plays just look a little bit more impressive
24:12or a little bit more smooth or a little bit more eyepopping than other players.
24:17Um, I I kind of get that with Deario Douglas where it's like I watch Kyle Williams execute something and I'm like,
24:22okay, that was cool, you know, nice. And then I watch Deario Douglas and I'm like, that was sick. It was always
24:27Deario Douglas. Uh, and and he just has had a good target earning profile whenever he's been on the field with Drake May. Uh, Roma Dunay at 35, 9.1
24:36points per game. No touchdowns for him yet. Does finally have back-to-back double digit point games. It's just like I don't know. Rome is a better real life
24:44player than he is a fantasy football player. And I think that the the Chicago Bears are fine with that. Jacobe Meyers
24:49here at 36. I mean, sure, you know, whatever. Again, another very variable performance guy. Not that excited about Jacobe Meyers. Ryan Florenoi, this is
24:58the highest weekly ranking I have given Ryan Florenoi yet this season. I'm the highest on him here. This is a really
25:04good matchup for him against the Indianapolis Colts. Gets to play this game in the dome. Gets to play this one in Indianapolis. So, here's why I
25:11finally have capitulated big Ryan Florenoi. um which is that they're clearly limiting George Pickkins's routes and Jake Ferguson. I'm not expecting to play this week. I'm
25:21expecting Brevin Span forward to start at tight end. Span Ford is like more or less, you know, I mean, he's basically
25:26more or less a right tackle. Like he runs some routes, but he's not really going to earn targets. So, I think the
25:31target earning potential and the routes for Florenoi look really good. He's basically like a top 40 wide receiver in a given week. Denzel Boston I have down
25:39here at 38. Um, this is corresponding to the projections into the overall market.
25:45But again, like you know, a point and a half, a point in terms of projected points difference between Conpsion and Boston. The Boston target earning stuff
25:53has been great. He just has not cashed in on a touchdown in a while. Just a really inefficient offense. And as I
25:59talked about in the Monday recap video, it's really just kind of, you know, whack-a-ole now with the Browns pass catchers. where like one of Fannen,
26:07Conpsion, and Boston's probably going to have a good week most weeks because they're very good. But because their quarterback play is so subpar, it's
26:13going to be very hard for multiple of them to get there in a given week. The F tier now, we have Malik Washington, who
26:19is coming off of a touchdown game, gets this elite matchup against the Detroit Lions. I have no issue if you want to
26:25start Malik Washington. I don't think he's like an absolute jam. I don't think Caleb Douglas is a jam. was a really
26:30interesting stat last week that the Miami Dolphins of all their primary pass catchers. So, the four guys who run over 60% of the routes, Washington, Douglas,
26:38Bell, and Doulsich all had either five or six targets. And then, of course, Kevin Coleman Jr. ends up scoring the touchdown. Josh DS down at 40. He did
26:46score a touchdown for us last week, his first touchdown of the season. I hope this is his last game as Indianapolis
26:52Colt. Um, I hope that he goes down the road from Indianapolis, hops on I7, drives down to Kansas City, and has
26:58himself an apartment there. We'll see if that ends up happening. Eftton Chisum, I have ranked behind Deario Douglas, he actually had strong route participation
27:06and target participation last week. Five targets, five receptions, 37 yards. The most interesting thing to me about Chisum is that you would just look at
27:13him and you'd look at uh him, you, you know, guy looks like Edelman or whatever in a Patriot series, you'd be like, "Oh,
27:18dude, he's for sure a slot wide receiver." And he isn't. He is the AJ Brown replacement in this offense, which to me is just so funny. Like, of all the
27:25players to replace AJ Brown's routes, instead of it being Kyle Williams, uh, it's Eftton Chisum. One thing that could cause me to move Chisum and Kyle
27:33Williams into Mario Douglas down would be if M. Collins is activated from the designated return IR this week. We'll see what happens there. Jordan Addison
27:40at 42. We just don't want to start Vikings. I do have Caleb Douglas at 43.
27:45He is averaging 11.9 points per game, but that's pretty boooied by the one insane game against the Jets. Uh, I think Danny is crazy having him at wide
27:53receiver 28. So, I don't know. Maybe maybe you got to side with the fantasy stock exchange instead of Davis Madak.
27:59Jordan Tyson I have at 44 this week. I'm guessing he is not going to have fulltime route participation this week.
28:05I could be wrong about that. They'll probably ease him in. It'll probably look honestly similar to what Rashi Rice did last week where he ran about half
28:12the routes but had a pretty high targets per route run. That would be my anticipation for Jordan Tyson. Trey Tucker at 45 coming off of the airball,
28:20one target, zero reception, zero yards.
28:22The issue with Trey Tucker, and I've talked about this a bunch, is he is not that good himself. He just has a very
28:29nice target earning profile in terms of where he earns his targets. Bowowers is one of the six or seven best target
28:36earners in the entire league. Michael Mayer is above average target earner for tight end. And a big problem for him last week was Jack Besh came back off
28:44the designated for return IR. And Jack Besh might be a better target earning player than Trey Tucker. Chris Godwin at 46. So I don't have Emecha Ibuka in my
28:54ranks right now. Were I to put Emecha Ibuka in the ranks, I would put Igbuka in the D tier between Wadd and Wilson. I
29:01could maybe bring him up a little bit more than that, but I think he'll play limited with this foot injury. This ranking for Godwin is
29:06assuming no Ibuka. I would move him down one tier if Ibuka does play. Omar Cooper Jr. I have down at 47. Maybe I should
29:14pull him up a little bit. You know what?
29:16I will pull him up. I will pull him up.
29:18I'm gonna move Omar Cooper Jr. into this.
29:21I'm gonna move him ahead of Eftton Chisum. How about that? I I'll move him up. Uh so I'll move him up about eight
29:28spots. I'll move him ahead of Eftton Chisum. But I have I've put my I put my flag in the dirt. I have AD Mitchell
29:35ranked over Omar Cooper Jr. If I'm wrong, I'm wrong. You know, you guys can point and laugh at me. But you know,
29:40part of fantasy football is we got to make decisions. You have to make decisions and they have to be logical decisions. It would not be logical to
29:47rank three New York Jets players as top 36 wide receivers in fantasy football.
29:51It's just not the way it's going to work. One of them at least one of them probably two of them is going to lose in
29:57a given week. Um and and I would guess that Omar Cooper Jr. is is going to be third in line there, but I again I could
30:03be wrong. Kosh Shakir at 48. You know what you were getting out of Shakir closing us down with Kyle Williams. I
30:08said last week I was very proud of myself for this one. I said last week in the wide receiver rankings video, I was
30:13I was feeling a touchdown for Kyle Williams. He got one target, one catch, and a 42- yard touchdown. Shout out to
30:20the Madak Fenny's Football Channel.
30:21Xavier Worthy at 50. This dude stinks.
30:23Devon Bailey at 51. Big loser with Jordan Tyson back. Uh well, Kendrick Bourne's out for the rest of the year, so I needed to delete him from the
30:30rankings. Christian Kirk at 53 and Dantavian Wixs at 54. That will preclude and conclude our wide receiver rankings.
