Bijan Robinson

PositiveProjection10:00

On a cold streak: averaging 12 PPG over last four games vs. 26.4 PPG first four weeks; under 8% target share four times this year (only twice all of last year); inefficient rushing with recent 40-carry stretch averaging under 4.1 yards per carry; being outproduced by Jamyr Gibbs; Atlanta's weaker team context and reduced touchdown opportunities compared to Detroit's offense. Despite being ranked as a fringe RB1 for Week 9 start/sit purposes, the underlying efficiency and role concerns suggest caution.

Insight page

Braelon Allen

PositiveProjection41:00

Braelon Allen is ranked as a low-end RB1 by the source, averaging 16.5 fantasy points per game, top-15 in expected fantasy points per game, and second-best rushing success rate this year. His projection is contingent on Breece Hall remaining sidelined, though Hall is expected to return. Allen faces a bottom-10 matchup against Kansas City.

Insight page

Bryce Young

NegativeProjection27:07

QB13 in fantasy points per game and XFP per game over last two weeks; 5.5 yards per pass attempt, 2-3 TD:INT ratio, 11 sacks, ranked second-worst in adjusted net yards per attempt; source is out on Young as a start in Week 9 vs. Denver's elite defense (healthy Patrick Surtain, strong pass rush, top coverage unit), especially given stark contrast to his strong first 5-6 weeks; viewed as a pumpkin heading into Thanksgiving rather than a bounce-back candidate.

Insight page

Chase Brown

NegativeProjection14:33

Mid-range RB1 projection for Week 9 against Atlanta, which ranks fourth most fantasy points per game allowed to running backs and is bottom-seven in both passing and rushing defense, fitting Brown's dual-threat skill set. However, Brown is the least efficient running back in football by fantasy points over expectation by a significant margin—RB 19 in fantasy points per game but RB 10 in XFP per game, indicating severe inefficiency and touchdown luck issues. Backfield XFP share has increased from 57% in Week 5 to 69% in Week 7 to 83% last week, returning to typical volume levels as a pure volume back with top-three offense utilization. This level of efficiency almost never sustains itself, creating long-term role security risk if the Bengals pursue upgrades. The source personally likes Brown in this matchup as a great breakout week despite the inefficiency concerns, though notes that while he has had the role and role has been great, fantasy points haven't followed.

Insight page

Dak Prescott

NegativeProjection32:27

Dak Prescott is having a disappointing year, ranking QB12 in fantasy points per game and QB7 in XFP per game, indicating bad efficiency despite maintaining top-three catchable throw rate historically (now well below average). The source ranks him QB3 for the Week 9 matchup against Indianapolis, viewing it as a potential 'get right' spot given the Colts' sixth-most fantasy points allowed per dropback. However, the source disagrees with this QB3 ranking, believing Prescott should be QB6 instead, citing confidence concerns; while Dallas may be using the Colts matchup as a confidence-building game for Prescott after recent struggles, this doesn't justify the elevated ranking. Dallas's recent negative EPA in the run game (negative 4.8% in last two weeks, bottom-five mark) creates uncertainty about whether this will be a Dak bounce-back or Javonte Williams nuke game.

Insight page

Drake London

PositiveValue21:49

Massive buy-low candidate ranked second among all WRs in yards per game (100+) since Michael Penix took over; top-5 in yards per route run; positioned as fringe top-5 fantasy WR despite market undervaluation. Poor matchup this week vs. Cincinnati (DJ Turner shadow coverage, fourth-fewest fantasy points per game allowed to outside WRs) but strong buy-low opportunity next week after expected poor performance.

Insight page

Emmett Johnson

PositiveRole42:12

Emmet Johnson shows insane efficiency with explosive plays despite low touch volume. He's a very good pass-catcher, probably better than Kenneth Walker, and could develop into a game-script split role as a scatback similar to Jerick McKinnon in this offense. If Kenneth Walker goes down, Johnson looks like an every-week RB1.

Insight page

Erick All

PositiveUsage19:14

Route share jumped to 72% in first game back from injury last week, up significantly from his typical 51% baseline; indicates increased tight end role and opportunity in Bengals offense.

Insight page

Garrett Wilson

NegativeInjury37:42

In concussion protocol after injury surfaced in practice Wednesday before Week 9. Insufficient days remain in the week for clearance, making him unlikely to play in the Jets-Chiefs matchup.

Insight page

Ja'Marr Chase

PositiveProjection18:05

WR3 in XFP per game and WR4 in fantasy points per game when excluding Week 4 (20% snap share due to injury); looked great in recent performance; top-tier wide receiver in Bengals stack.

Insight page

Jalen Coker

PositiveProjection28:08

Fringe WR2 projection for Week 9 vs. Denver; must-start despite cautious outlook; source doesn't expect a ton of production this week but still recommends starting; benefits from Carolina's top-4 play volume (top 4 in plays per game, top 4 in P row) which should provide baseline volume even with Young's recent struggles.

Insight page

Javonte Williams

PositiveBreakout32:27

Javonte Williams is positioned as a potential 'nuke game' candidate in the highest over-under matchup of the week (51.5) against Indianapolis. He leads the league in rushing expected touchdowns and has been more productive than Derrick Henry this year with similar yards per carry, suggesting significant upside in a game where Dallas's recent negative EPA in the run game (negative 4.8% in last two weeks) could flip positive against a weak Colts defense. The source argues Williams should be ranked RB3, not RB12, based on rushing efficiency dominance; he's been "more Derrick Henry than Derrick Henry this year" and should be valued significantly higher in rankings despite his current placement.

Insight page

Joe Burrow

PositiveProjection16:57

Wide QB1 projection; averaging nearly 30 fantasy points per game over last five games (29.1 ppg with low of 23.6); four-plus touchdown passes in three straight games and three-plus in four of last five; Bengals lead league in pass rate over expectation.

Insight page

Josh Downs

PositiveMatchup14:09

Favorable matchup against Cowboys, who allow 11.46 yards per target to slot receivers and are weak against play action and 12 personnel—boxes Downs checks. Ranked as low-end WR4 but the source likes him in this spot. However, Downs is being out-targeted and out-produced by Keenan Allen; Allen ranks 13th in targets per route run, 16th in yardage market share, 18th in targets per game, and top 24 in XFP per game and fantasy points per game since Week 3, looking like a fringe WR2 by every measure and brutally out-alpha'ing Downs.

Insight page

Keenan Allen

PositiveProjection35:37

Fringe WR2 by multiple efficiency metrics since Week 3: 13th in targets per route run, 16th in yardage market share, 18th in targets per game, and top 24 in XFP per game and fantasy points per game. The source emphasizes Allen is brutally out-alpha'ing Josh Downs and should be valued significantly higher than his low-end WR4 counterpart.

Insight page

Kenneth Walker III

NegativeInjury42:12

Kenneth Walker faces significant durability concerns despite strong talent. The source, who is his biggest fan and owns him in multiple leagues, admits to holding his breath every week that he doesn't get hurt, indicating persistent injury risk that caps his ceiling. This durability concern is compounded by backup Emmet Johnson showing elite efficiency on limited touches, creating a potential split-role scenario if Walker's health falters.

Insight page

Mark Andrews

PositiveRole39:39

Mark Andrews benefits from the Jacoby Brissett trade to the Baltimore Ravens. Brissett historically targets tight ends at the highest rate in the league across his entire career dating back to college, providing a significant upgrade in target opportunity for Andrews.

Insight page

Mike Gesicki

PositiveProjection18:50

Fringe low-end TE1/high-end TE2 in play for Week 9; benefits from Atlanta matchup which is a reverse slot funnel ranked second-best in fantasy points per game allowed to slot wide receivers; Gesicki functions more as slot receiver than traditional tight end.

Insight page

Omar Cooper Jr.

PositiveUsage40:09

Omar Cooper Jr. ranks top three in yards per route run among all wide receivers and posted 100-plus yards and a touchdown in two of his three career full-game starts. However, he drew zero targets last week despite elite efficiency metrics. He benefits from Garrett Wilson's absence in Week 9, creating an opportunity for increased target volume.

Insight page

Parker Washington

PositiveMatchup4:02

Top 12 in yards per route run and top 12 in fantasy points per route run; Ravens give up the seventh most fantasy points per game to slot wide receivers, creating a premier matchup. However, Jacksonville's 10-point favorite status and Joey Flacco's inability to distribute the ball (zero Jacksonville players had more than two catches last week in similar game script) threatens to limit route volume despite the favorable slot coverage matchup. The source notes this is "another spot for him to drop a 40 burger" but game script concerns dominate the analysis.

Insight page

Rashee Rice

NegativeProjection43:02

Averaged 15.5 fantasy points per game over his last three full games, but volume hasn't been as strong as that scoring rate suggests. Ranked WR23 by the source.

Insight page

Samaje Perine

NegativeUsage14:26

Samaje Perine's backfield share has increased significantly: 57% of backfield XFP in week five, 69% in week seven, and 83% last week, returning to his typical level. The source notes there was pearl clutching over Perine's role, but the real issue is inefficiency. Perine ranks RB 19 by fantasy points per game but RB 10 by XFP per game, indicating he is underperforming his expected fantasy points.

Insight page

Tee Higgins

PositiveProjection18:20

First in yards per target, fourth in yards per route run, fifth in fantasy points per game; 90-plus receiving yards in five of last six games (excluding decoy game before bye); 150-plus receiving yards in three of last four games; on an elite hot streak benefiting from defensive scheme adjustments where safeties shade toward Ja'Marr Chase, opening up increased target volume for Higgins.

Insight page

Travis Kelce

NegativeProjection43:10

Travis Kelce is ranked as TE7 by the source's the source, a ranking the source finds reasonable and appropriate.

Insight page

Trevor Lawrence

NegativeProjection10:40

First in EPA per play and playing at a top-10 level; finished last season on an eight-to-nine game tear as well. However, the source attributes much of his success to favorable circumstances—pillow soft defenses, great starting field position, and positive game script—rather than a fundamental corner turn. The source ranks him below the top five QBs (Allen, Burrow, Goff, Caleb, Drake May, Brock Purdy) but acknowledges that many good QBs benefit from easy matchups and that his statistical outcomes are legitimate.

Insight page

Xavier Worthy

PositiveBust43:54

Bust prospect who has never hit 85 receiving yards in 37 career regular season games despite six or more targets in over half of those games. Over the last two weeks, he has 12 targets for only 24 yards (2.0 yards per target average), worse than Cyrus Allen on just four targets. Speed alone doesn't translate to WR success; Worthy lacks route-running and body control skills despite being a 4.2 runner. The source declares this situation is finally over.

Insight page

Zay Flowers

NegativeProjection7:12

Facing a significant QB downgrade from Lamar Jackson (8.0 yards per route run) to Tyler Huntley (3.0+ yards per route run) to now Joey Flacco; had zero catches with Flacco last week despite a 3.1 ADoT, suggesting severe distribution issues. The source (Ryan Heath) is calling Flowers a sit this week. While a counterargument notes that if Flowers could produce with Tyler Huntley (a poor QB), he should be able to produce with Flacco, the source remains pessimistic about the overall situation.

0:54>> I'm eating W's all day, baby.
1:01How's that L taste? I don't I don't know what that tastes like. I only eat dubs.
1:08>> [snorts] >> Are you serious?
1:16>> What?
1:18>> [laughter] >> That's awesome.
1:20That is so sick.
1:23>> [music] >> Week nine start sit part one. We are breaking down all of the top players of the week, telling you who to start, who
1:33to sit, how to optimize your lineups here on Fantasy Football Daily. I'm Brett Whitefield. This is my co-host Scott Barrett.
1:40Let's dive right in. Scott, I have to say, this is your Michael Jordan game.
1:46>> Hey.
1:47>> I am amazed that you're here right now.
1:50I actually set the over/under at 5% chance you would be here today. I had Gram Barfield lined up.
1:56>> Yeah.
1:57>> Ready to go.
1:58I I it's it is This is your game. This is your flu game. You are You were doubtful for today's game with
2:05with an injured nut sack. I mean, this is This is I mean, this is incredibly impressive from you, Scott. This is like
2:12alpha Like, you're way more of an alpha than Garrett Wilson. Like, if we're being honest. Like, this is incredible.
2:18How are you?
2:19>> I'm doing great. I am so happy to be here. Honestly, I am in the best mood I think you've ever seen me on this show.
2:25>> [snorts] >> Um because I am heavily medicated.
2:28>> [laughter] >> Today's Today's show is sponsored by codeine.
2:32>> Big Pharma >> [laughter] >> Big Pharma checking in. Yeah.
2:37>> They're not They're not paying me to give this endorsement. Uh this is just my own testimonial. Big fan.
2:43>> [laughter] >> Big fan of codeine.
2:44>> Testimonial.
2:45Oh, man. All right. Well, as per usual, today we're breaking down half the slate. Tomorrow we're breaking down the other half. Let's dive right in. We're
2:54going to try to get Scott reined in today. I don't know if he can be short-winded with the with the way he's
3:00feeling right now. But, game one of 15, the Jacksonville Jaguars are traveling to Baltimore. This is the Thursday night game.
3:09The slate's kind of a mess, Scott, cuz there's like 19 different backup quarterbacks playing. The Ravens are playing Joe Flacco Flacco Flacco
3:16as their starter.
3:17>> Who?
3:18>> Joe Flacco Flacco Flacco.
3:19>> Who's that?
3:20>> Uh 7-year college player from UConn.
3:24>> And Maine?
3:25>> Yeah, by way of Maine. And uh yeah, he's he's an undrafted rookie getting a getting his first start here versus the Jags at home. The Jag Jags
3:34are a 9 and 1/2 point favorite. And what's crazy is the over/under's only 40 and 1/2. So, that tells you really all you need to
3:41know.
3:42If you look at the screen, you see our see our start sit per team. We have changed the green to white. So, white means good. White
3:49means pure. You're running pure if you're playing somebody that is highlighted in white instead of green.
3:54So, all right.
3:56Scott, start with the Jaguars offense.
3:58Where where we at? I want to Can you Can we start with Parker Washington?
4:02>> Bro, please. My goodness, please. Thank you.
4:05Please.
4:06>> [snorts] >> It is so frustrating. It is so frustrating.
4:12Parker Washington was the prince who was promised.
4:15And he's good He's doing great. He's top 12 in yards per route run. He's top 12 in fantasy points per route run. He
4:20looks awesome. The problem, Brett, is Jacksonville's pillow-soft strength of schedule.
4:28>> Mhm.
4:28>> The Jacksonville Jaguars rank dead last in dropbacks per game. Never saw that coming in a Liam Cohen offense.
4:35It's because they lead the league in point differential by a country mile.
4:4047% higher than the next closest defe- next closest team.
4:44And unfortunately, their schedule doesn't toughen up anytime soon.
4:49They've had the best easiest strength of schedule I can ever remember.
4:53Their next four quarterbacks they face, Joey Fagnano, who? Cam Ward, stinks.
4:59J.J. McCarthy, according to everyone except for Brett, stinks. And then Cam Ward again.
5:05And so shout >> Cam Ward's turned the corner. Let's not slander that man's name right now.
5:09>> No. No. He's He's had one good game in his 2-year two good games in his entire 2-year career. I I'm not willing to
5:16accept that. Uh but shout out to Jacksonville Jaguars fans. You're about to potentially sleepwalk into a number one seed.
5:25But here we are again.
5:27We're go- We're going up against Joey Fagnano. We're 10-point favorites.
5:31Literally, who even is this guy? Did you have a Did you have a draft grade on him? Did you watch his his Maine tape
5:36with the Black Bears, the Maine Black Bears? You watch his college football tape, Brett?
5:42>> I turned it on back in what, like March, and watched half of a game and then turned it off.
5:48>> Yeah. Because >> wasn't worth my time.
5:52>> Yeah, this guy has has no business starting games in the NFL.
5:56Um and here's the worst part about it.
5:59This was another amazing matchup for Parker Washington. Another premier slot funnel for Parker the Ravens are giving up the seventh most fantasy points per
6:09game to slot wide receivers. This is another spot for him to drop a 40 burger. Instead no, Joey Finnegan at quarterback to another spot just like
6:18last week where not a single Jacksonville player had more than two catches last week.
6:25Is the team doesn't have to try. The team doesn't have to do anything to win this game.
6:30And so instead it's Ryan Heath Exodia Rachel Tuton if he's healthy who's going to go off and this sucks.
6:38>> hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on.
6:42Baltimore is very good against the run Scott.
6:45>> Bro, it doesn't matter when you're you're going to have the best starting field position every single drive.
6:51You're going to start every drive in the red zone. You're going to have positive game script all throughout the entire game. You don't need to pass it all.
6:58Last week zero Jacksonville players had more than two catches and it's the exact same setup 10 point favorites and we've seen Liam Cohen this year unlike
7:07last year unlike with Baker Mayfield very content to just put his feet up on the desk and just be like, yeah, this
7:14game is over. This is easy. We don't even have to try. And so this is infuriating.
7:19This year sucks. I am cursed.
7:22And so it's not just Parker Washington Brett.
7:26It's also Joey Finnegan has come to destroy the in season Exodia.
7:32Zay Flowers average 8 yards per route run with Lamar Jackson. Even with Tyler Huntley it was over three. Now we have
7:38Joey Joey Finnegan. He had zero catches with this schmuck last week. This absolute scrub schmuck. Joey can't even get the ball to Zay Flowers. How hard
7:48could that be with a 3.1 A.Dot?
7:52Surely it can't be that bad. You know, if if Zay Flowers is as as good as I think he is.
7:58Guess what? Ryan Heath He's calling him a sit this week. It's bad. I'm cursed. Fantasy sucks. If I had my way
8:07this would be a dog breeding podcast.
8:11>> It's a great rant. Great rant. Listen.
8:14>> I grew up on Mike Francesca.
8:16>> Oh, nice. Joe Flacco, there's there's like we can dog on him all we want.
8:21There's no way he's that much worse than Tyler Huntley. Tyler Huntley's not a good quarterback.
8:26If Zay Flowers can produce with Tyler Huntley, it's not over for him with Joe Flacco.
8:31Come on.
8:32Pick your Pick your head up a little bit.
8:34>> We're talking about main a main a main >> Listen, if you were able to man up to be here today considering the
8:39circumstances, I think you can get through this game without winging and crying about it. Like this is going to be all right.
8:45Zay might not be the in-season exotic, but he's still going to be fine. Joe Flacco's all right.
8:49He can't be that much worse than Tyler Huntley. I'm telling you.
8:53>> Bro, I'm depressed. I'm depressed. I'm on codeine and I'm depressed. You know how hard that is?
8:57>> I think there's a chance Parker's good this week, too, man.
9:00Baltimore's bad against the slot as well. They're They're bad against I said that >> That's not been his issue, Brett.
9:05>> They're They're bad against outside receivers. I just think game script-wise, Jacksonville's not going to be able to run the ball as good as
9:09they've ran it lately.
9:11>> It doesn't matter when you're up against Joey Flacco. This This game's going to be over by the third drive.
9:16>> all theoretical nonsense, though.
9:18>> It's what's happened every single week.
9:19This is a a fantasy wide receiver one on a per route basis. What's the problem?
9:23Not a lot of routes. Why is that a problem? It's because every game is over after the first quarter. And that's
9:28exactly what's happened every >> were against elite run defenses? How many of those >> of those teams were up against Joey
9:32Flacco?
9:34>> You still have to score points. Who's going to score the points?
9:37>> Joey Flacco via pick six.
9:40>> No, if that happens, you are in fact screwed. You are in fact screwed if that happens.
9:44>> Uh, >> [sighs] >> so Parker Washington, you know, Chris a little bit more bullish.
9:49>> Uh, of course now he is of all time. Now Chris >> [laughter] >> We just can't be aligned on Parker Wa
9:56So, he's he's a mid-range wide receiver two, Bijan to the fringe RB1.
10:02Uh, >> Woah. Woah. Texas slang coming out there?
10:06>> What did I say?
10:06>> a little twinge in your accent. It sounded very twangy, Texas twang.
10:11>> Yeah.
10:12>> Say water.
10:14>> water It's my South Jersey water. water >> All right. Do you Do you have any serious takes for this game or can we
10:21move on?
10:22>> hydrostatic equilibrium um No, I don't I don't have anything else.
10:28>> Yeah, I I think we covered >> Well, actually I do have a question for you. I think this is interesting. I think this is really
10:35worth our time. And this is a question.
10:40Has Trevor Lawrence really turned a corner or is he just playing on easy mode against these pillow soft defenses with great starting field position and tons
10:51of positive game script?
10:53Is the stats are legit terrific. He's He's first in EPA per play.
10:58And so you have Jacksonville Jaguars fans digging up old tweets. They're all like, bro I think Liam Cohen's a god, but like
11:06just so we're clear we're entering year six, year five, whatever it was last year and the guy has never had a good
11:12season. He's just never had a good season. So like is this a year five breakout which happens Sam Darnold, Geno Smith, et cetera.
11:19But you have Jaguars fans saying quote unquote, this is the best football player on the planet.
11:26All that pre-draft hype has truly come to fruition. A genuine generational talent.
11:32>> Don't argue with fans from specific fan bases.
11:35>> Jacksonville fans by the way are also the worst.
11:37>> Oh, but Bears fans are pretty bad. Yeah, they're the worst. They're the worst.
11:40Bears fans take the cake. It's not even close.
11:42Not even close. Bears fans and Eagles fans because they'll threaten your family, your livelihood, they'll >> Saints fans uh threatened to give us a
11:49Bolivian uh bow tie or something.
11:52>> Yeah.
11:53>> Yeah, can we can we do a segment here where we talk about our viewers teams and how bad all the fans of those teams
11:58are? Can we Just do all all teams?
12:01>> Could do a tier maker.
12:04>> I think the saddest fans are Jet Jets fans. I don't know how you're like rationally optimistic every year heading into a season and then you just have
12:11your >> That's what fandom's supposed to be, though.
12:14Be like irrationally optimistic, but respectful, you know? That's what fandom really should be.
12:18>> I've always been a realist about my Giants, always.
12:22Always.
12:23>> Scott, that is not even remotely true.
12:26With the first 4 weeks of the season this year, we had to do show after show after show about how amazing your Giants
12:31are.
12:32>> Cuz the Jackson Dart healthy. Jackson Dart's the man. Jackson Dart's a leader.
12:36>> You told me he was better than or the next Patrick Mahomes. That's not rational optimism.
12:42>> And you let's revisit it in 2 years.
12:44>> Okay, let's let's >> say the next Patrick. I said >> You did.
12:48>> Reminiscent of, maybe.
12:50>> I'll I'll dig it up. I'm pretty sure you said the next Patrick Mahomes.
12:53All right, game two.
12:55Moving on, the Cincinnati Bengals traveling to >> didn't answer my question.
12:59>> Oh, sorry. The question. Trevor Lawrence is playing really good football right now. If I were to do >> at a top X level top
13:05>> 10 level.
13:07Top 10 level.
13:07>> Not top five?
13:08>> It's not just the last few weeks. He finished last season on like an eight, nine game tear as well. No, I wouldn't
13:13say top five. I wouldn't say top five.
13:15>> He's playing on easy mode, right?
13:18>> Well, yeah, but that's a lot of a lot of good QBs benefit from those situations.
13:22Yeah, that's that's typically how you you get crazy statistical outcomes, man.
13:27Um Yeah, if I were to go top five right now, it'd be Allen, Burrow, Goff, Caleb, Drake May.
13:35And then we can start talking about Oh, woah, woah, woah. Sorry.
13:38>> May?
13:38>> Sorry. Brock Purdy, top five. Sorry, I I messed that. After that, we could start talking Trevor Lawrence's of the world,
13:44you know?
13:45>> Got it.
13:45>> So.
13:46Boom. Cincinnati traveling to Atlanta.
13:49They're favorites on the road. Atlanta's really fallen off the last few weeks.
13:53Over under a 52 and a half.
13:55Massive total here. Like absolutely massive. Both teams implied for for about 25 plus points.
14:01Let's start on the Cincinnati side.
14:04Um I personally really like Chase Brown in this game.
14:09Atlanta's got four straight games where they've given up over 100 yards to running backs. Seven total touchdowns over that stretch, or maybe it's eight,
14:15actually.
14:16Um this just feels like a great matchup for Brown to get right. He's been He's had the role. Role's been great. Fantasy
14:22points haven't followed necessarily. I think this is a great breakout week for him.
14:26>> Yeah, there was a lot of pearl clutching over Samaje Perine, by us included.
14:31Um >> We overreacted, for sure.
14:33>> He had in week five, he had just 57% of the backfield XFP. Then week seven, 69%.
14:39And last week, 83%. So, he's back to just where he's always been. The issue is inefficiency. And so, he's the RB 19 by
14:48fantasy points per game, but he's the RB 10 by XFP per game. All the grief that we've given Asim Zendejas it's Chase Brown who's the least
14:57efficient running back in football by fantasy points over expectation. By a lot. He's been flat-out awful, which is why I keep saying like I'd love
15:04to see Jonathan Taylor in this role. Jonathan Taylor in this role is pushing Jamyr Gibbs.
15:10Or anyone not named Jamyr Gibbs. Because Jamyr Gibbs is >> Well, it's some of this is O- O- line related, though, Scott.
15:17>> Yeah, and well, and part of it also is >> Stupid run concepts from Shady.
15:21>> luck, which plays a role. And so, it's hard to tell if this stat, generally, is this player's not playing well, or is
15:28just getting really unlucky in scoring touchdowns. And I think it's a little bit of both. And so, in this spot, Atlanta fourth most fantasy points
15:36per game to running backs.
15:38Um really vulnerable both through the air and on the ground. I think they're bottom seven in both, which fits Chase Brown's uh dual-threat skill set.
15:47Um I like this. Yeah, I'm with you, mid-range RB1 this week.
15:50>> Yeah, yeah, we're projecting him really high, so it's not like a hot take or anything, but >> So, it's so
15:55you know, if you're invested in the Bengals, you're you're counting your stacks. You're you're young money right now.
16:01>> Can I pivot us real quick?
16:03We'll take our eyes off of start-sit for 1 second.
16:06Maybe this is sort of a mea culpa of sorts. Is Do you feel like maybe cuz we do a daily show, we're a little bit more
16:11prone to overreacting to something, small samples?
16:15Because we Cuz thinking with on the Samaje Perine combo, we totally abandoned ship on Chase Brown.
16:22>> Yeah. Yeah, it's one of those incentives things. It's just a product of what we're doing. But it's also like something we've always talked about
16:29where it's like Chase Brown, because he's a pure volume back where he has the most amazing role volume utilization on this top
16:40three offense, but he's so inefficient, the rug could get pulled out from under him at any point in time. And so, right
16:47now that looks like an awful overcorrection, but if the Bengals trade for Breece Hall, who's a clear upgrade in my opinion, Jonathan Taylor, then we
16:55were right. And so, yeah, I mean, I I think that's an L that we have to own, probably, but um >> It It's probably our phrasing, right? We
17:03like we You and I tend to dig our heels in on things. I think maybe if we say, "Hey, be concerned long-term about Chase
17:09Brown."
17:10Cuz this level of efficiency almost never sustains itself. Like either there's a breakthrough moment on the to the other side, or the team goes, "Yeah,
17:18we're not doing that anymore. We got to go a different direction." So, I don't think we're wrong for calling it out at
17:22all, but I do think, you know, punting on him in in the manner we did was probably a little bit of a little
17:29bit much, but I like your answer though.
17:30That's phenomenal answer.
17:32>> Yeah, well, you're also say So, Chase Brown mid-range RB1, that's excellent.
17:35Then you have Joe Burrow wide QB1 and both wide receivers top six. And yeah, dude, this is money. So, we just
17:42talked about Jacksonville Jaguars they're not going to throw the ball, right? The Bengals, no matter what, always air it out. They lead the league
17:52in pass rate over expectation. They're like top three every single week.
17:56Joe Burrow balling out.
17:58His last five games, he averages nearly 30 fantasy points per game. He's at 29.1 with a low of 23.6.
18:05Four plus touchdown passes in three straight games. Three plus in four of his last five.
18:11And then Ja'Marr Chase, we We were a little worried about, you know, injuries. He looked great last week.
18:18He If you exclude week four where he left after just playing 20% of the snaps, he's wide receiver three in XFP
18:24per game, wide receiver four in fantasy points per game. Tee Higgins, my goodness. He's first in yards per target, fourth in yards per route run,
18:31fifth in fantasy points per game.
18:33That That counts the decoy game before the bye. He's 90 plus yards in each of his last five, not in counting that that
18:41decoy game or five of his last six if you want to count it. So, yeah, man, this is Shout out to anyone with your
18:48Joe Burrow stacks. This is looking Not And Mike Gesicki, too. I mean, we have him buried, but I think that's >> That's a great match-up.
18:56>> I think that's wrong.
18:57>> Yeah.
18:59>> It's It's Well, it It's It's It looks like a great match-up. Although, I will say Atlanta's a reverse slot funnel,
19:05which benefits Chase and Higgins. Uh they're ranked second best in fantasy points per game allowed to slot wide receivers. He's kind of more of a slot
19:12than a tight end, right?
19:13>> Yeah.
19:14>> So, there's that. But, touchdowns in six of seven games, which is crazy, unsustainable, lucky, whatever.
19:20>> Mhm.
19:21>> But, Eric All, first game out last week, his route share jumped to 72%. He's typically around 51%. So, um even Yeah, Mike Gesicki's in play. If
19:32you need If you're desperate for a fringe low-end tight end one, high-end tight end two.
19:37>> Tee Higgins has basically had 150 receiving yards in three of his last four games.
19:41It's like an insane run he's on.
19:42>> Yeah. Yeah. Dude, he's He's awesome.
19:44They talked about it, too, after that game. They were like Like, yeah, well, you know, they were shading safeties to Ja'Marr's side, and
19:50so we we kept dialing up plays for Tee, and you know, Tee was coming through in the clutch. So, yeah, that that's That's
19:57what happens.
19:59>> On the Atlanta side of it, I mean, Bijan Robinson's kind of on a cold streak right now, is he not?
20:05Am I crazy for saying that?
20:07>> No. No, you're You're absolutely right.
20:09He averages 12 fantasy points per game over his last four.
20:14Through the first four weeks, he was 26.4.
20:17Last four weeks, 12.0.
20:19Uh and it's weird. Like, his snap share utilization has never been better with Brian Robinson out.
20:27Kind of Uh but he's also been under an 8% target share four times this year. That happened only two times all
20:35of last year.
20:36>> Right.
20:37>> Brian Robinson, it looks like he's coming back this week.
20:40I mean, you're still starting him as a top five fantasy running We have him RB3.
20:44>> 100%. Just a conversation that needs to happen though.
20:46>> But it's like he's being brutally mugged by Jamyr Gibbs.
20:50>> Brutally Everyone's being brutally mugged by Jamyr Gibbs.
20:52>> I I had it 101 teardrop, 102 teardrop.
20:56>> And that looks correct. And the thesis was Atlanta's just not as good of a team as Detroit. And they're going to find
21:01themselves in situations where Bijan isn't as productive, especially on a touchdown level, which has been true.
21:07But I'm surprised by some of the inefficiency, right? 20 carries, 63 yards, 19 for 70.
21:12>> fair, he's averaging like 7 yards per carry before that, so.
21:16>> Sure.
21:17That's a two-game sample of 40 carries though, where he hasn't averaged more than four yards a carry. I mean, that's >> Yeah, it's 4.1, 4.1, 4.1, 4.1, 4.1, 4.1,
21:266.7, 7.6, 5.1, 6.8, 3.2, 4.0. Listen, he's the most talented running back in football from an NFL perspective, arguably.
21:36Second best?
21:37>> Arguably. I like arguably.
21:40Arguably the most talented.
21:42>> All right.
21:42>> Not consensus.
21:43>> Yeah.
21:45>> Okay. Uh anything else from this game?
21:47>> Yes.
21:48>> Okay. Hit it.
21:49>> Drake London the world's biggest buy low.
21:53If you throw out last week's monsoon game, both quarterbacks in that game combined for only four more completions than interceptions.
22:04Eight completions, four interceptions.
22:06Throw out the monsoon game. Before that, with since Michael Penix took over, London ranked second among all wide receivers in yards per game, over 100.
22:16In 17 career Michael Penix starts, he's averaging 99.9 yards per game. He's top five in yards per route run, even And factor in the
22:24monsoon game, >> Mhm.
22:27>> And so, I love it. I I think he's a massive buy low. I don't think people are viewing him as a top five fantasy
22:34wide receiver, which you know, I think I am. I think I am. Fringe top five. Uh the question is, Brett, for you.
22:41>> No.
22:42>> Do we buy this week or next week?
22:44Because Cincinnati gives up the fourth fewest fantasy points per game to outside wide receivers. There's a chance DJ Turner shadows, maybe. I don't know.
22:53>> He he he's he's going to shadow Drake London.
22:55>> Okay. Well, he's the Exodia killer.
22:57>> Yeah.
22:58>> Parker Washington and Zay Flowers combined for just six yards on 26 routes against him.
23:04>> Yeah, he's he's a top four corner in the NFL right now.
23:07>> Okay. So, next week >> last year, too, by the way. He killed everybody.
23:11>> Yeah.
23:13Top four corner, Patrick Surtain, DJ Turner, >> Christian Gonzalez, >> DJ Turner, probably Sting, but Sting's not playing great this year.
23:21>> Yeah.
23:23>> Uh McDuffie, Trent.
23:25>> Okay. Um yeah, so next week. Next week buy low. Expect a a poor performance this week, and then we buy low. Then we
23:32pounce.
23:33>> Yeah, is there any concern with the Atlanta Falcons since Penix has been at at the quarterback spot? They've they're really run heavy team inside the red
23:41zone.
23:42And it matters because London's touchdown production's been garbage, and I think it's it's resembled in the run pass splits inside the red I think they're like
23:5050/50. 50/50 run pass inside the red zone.
23:54>> Yeah, I don't know. I I I still >> I mean, that's con- that's concerning, isn't it?
23:57>> Yeah, I mean, it could also just regress to league average rates or >> I don't I'm not familiar with that word.
24:03I think you're looking for hydrostatic equilibrium.
24:05>> Uh that's right. That's right. Thank you.
24:09>> Uh we got a comment saying uh >> Oh, we got a super chat. What does the super chat say?
24:14>> Uh uh cirrhosis level drinking game anytime Brett says >> Cirrhosis?
24:20>> Cirr- Is it cirrhosis? Liver cirrhosis.
24:21Psoriasis is a skin condition. My bad.
24:23>> I do the exact same thing all the time, and I just feel like such an idiot. It's um >> Cirrhosis of the liver. That's my bad.
24:28>> You ever watch Trailer Park Boys?
24:30>> No, I don't know what that is.
24:31>> It's actually a really good show, but the the main Ricky isn't. He right >> Okay.
24:35>> I do that constantly. But yeah, cirrhosis.
24:37>> Well, anyways, cirrhosis level drinking game anytime Brett says all right, take a drink. I'm so hyper-conscious of it now. I'm like,
24:46oh boy.
24:48It's like when you feel seen, you know?
24:49>> At least you can pronounce the word water.
24:52>> That was pretty good, Scott. Nice job.
24:54>> on it. I'm practicing every day.
24:56>> You hear it 10 times every night.
24:57>> Yeah, there you go.
24:58>> Also, shout out to the Fantasy Football Daily Drinking Game.
25:02>> Shout out.
25:03>> Someone needs to make us a a subreddit and put that on there. I don't know. Do something with >> What is a subreddit? I have no idea.
25:11>> And apparently Reddit's dead. We we were talking about it 2 weeks ago how how Reddit hates us and I think their stock
25:17price went down like 40%.
25:18>> Oh, good.
25:20Denver traveling to Carolina to play the Panthers. They are another road favorite. A lot of road favorites this week, Scott. Three-point favorites over
25:27under a 44.
25:29Broncos coming in at six and two.
25:31Panthers have kind of been a mess since a hot start to the season.
25:35Not kind of, they've been a mess. Bryce Young doing his best pumpkin impersonation heading into Halloween.
25:41Well, Halloween's over. Let's see if he bounces back. Anyways, on the Broncos side of this, I love Jonathan Coleman in this game.
25:48Like love love love love love.
25:51He got his workload went up to what, 68% of the backfield share snap share last week. Um the rushing volume, the receiving
25:59volume, the the match up, the Panthers stink.
26:03They're really bad on the ground.
26:04Anytime they've been tested this year, they've just folded like a cheap suit.
26:08And you know, they've had some favorable game scripts to prevent them from getting folded in every single game. So, I'm pretty bullish on Jonathan Coleman,
26:15but I want to hear your thoughts.
26:17>> Yeah, you know you know me, world's biggest Jonathan Coleman fan.
26:21He has arrived. 11 carries, six targets, over 100 yards from scrimmage, and a touchdown last week. That includes zero touches for JK Dobbins in the second
26:30half. and like you said, it's a pristine matchup. Carolina gives up the second most fantasy points per game to opposing running backs. RJ Harvey on IR. Uh
26:40the Broncos are linked to Jonathan Taylor and some of these running backs who might be available for trade, but um you know, hopefully we get at least one
26:49more Let's Let's get a look at Jona Coleman as the bell cow. Let's Let's see what he could do because he's really impressed
26:53me, including that one game where he played the whole game with a high ankle sprain.
26:58So, uh I'm with you. I like this. Yeah, high-end RB2 at worst.
27:02Feels good to me, but I I think the main storyline in this game, Brad, is you called it is is Bryce Young
27:09still a pumpkin from Halloween, or is is he a turkey heading into Thanksgiving, or was was that first five-week stretch of
27:16the season really just a mirage? You tell me.
27:19>> [snorts] >> I Bro, I don't know.
27:24We've seen quarterbacks do this. They ebb and flow so much. It's a week-to-week league in this NFL.
27:29>> Well, especially among the non-elites, you know?
27:32>> Well, yeah, and that's the thing. But the So, the sample of him being tremendous it it dwarfs the sample of him being
27:38bad.
27:39So, it's like we had that nice five, six-week sample, but it's like, okay, that's five, six starts out of what? 60?
27:45At this point in his career or something like that? It's like, I don't know.
27:49I don't know that I'm willing to say that that's who he was. Maybe it's who he can try to get back to being, but
27:54I don't know. I I think I'm probably airing, especially against this defense with this pass rush, with this coverage unit, with the healthy
28:00Patrick Surtain.
28:02I Yeah, I I think I'm probably out on Bryce Young, and you know, you you can't bench Ted Nguyen, can you?
28:09You can't bench Jaylen Coker, but I feel like I wouldn't expect a ton this week.
28:14>> Well, you know, I So, yeah, by the way, we called this. Uh last 2 weeks, 5.5 yards per pass attempt, two to three touchdown
28:23interception ratio, 11 sacks, ranked second worst in adjusted net yards per attempt. Before that, he was top 10.
28:30Still, factoring how bad he's been the last 2 weeks. He's QB13 in fantasy points per game, QB13 in XFP per game. Carolina
28:38still top four in P row, top four in plays per game. So, that's why you see Chris in the projections leaning more
28:45towards Bryce Young's a pumpkin now, but still being bullish on Ted McMillan fringe wide receiver one, Jaylen Coker fringe wide receiver two. And I kind of
28:54like that. I cuz, you know, even if he There there's certainly a world where, oh no, he just bounces back even against
29:01this top defense.
29:03Um but even if he doesn't, the play volume hopefully should be there, top four in P row, top four in plays per
29:08game. Um so, I I feel like this is a you know, it's baked in here. You know, we're being a little cautious, but um
29:17still confident in these uh supporting assets being starts this week.
29:24>> You know what's crazy? Just peeking over at some Vegas lines.
29:27>> Yeah.
29:27>> The books are treating Jordan Coleman like a bell cow.
29:30>> Yeah.
29:30>> His rushing plus receiving yards prop is like 90 this week.
29:33>> Yeah, that's great.
29:34>> That's actually pretty crazy. I mean >> Yeah.
29:36>> I I was going to say I'm interested on on some combo some combo bets for Coleman, but that's probably a little
29:41too bullish.
29:42>> I don't know. I I kind of like that.
29:44>> Well, at the end of the day, Scott, you shouldn't listen to me when it comes to prop bets anyways.
29:48>> Who should you listen to?
29:49>> Chris Wachtel, Tom Brolley, Justin Varnes over at the in-season betting package on fantasy points.com. Are you familiar with these guys?
29:57>> They're killing it. They're We tried to tell you >> Yeah, we tried last week.
30:00>> 15 unit week last week.
30:03>> Which means if you were betting $100 per unit on every official pick, we have three official bettors.
30:08>> Well, what are they up this year?
30:09>> They're up 5,500 total, but last week they were up 1,500.
30:12>> Well, how many units?
30:14>> Oh, gosh. Uh >> 52.8.
30:16>> 52.8, there you >> 15.6% ROI. And what does that come out to if you tail every pick with $100?
30:23>> 5,500 bucks.
30:25>> Crazy. Two month In 2 months, you just made $5,500.
30:28>> Yeah.
30:30It's like it's like setting up an AI bot to work at Starbucks for you while you have of main job. You know what I mean?
30:35That's what it's kind of like. It's like, "Ah, I'm just going to set up a little AI bot to go work for me while
30:39I'm just It's passive income, you know what I mean?"
30:42>> Yeah.
30:42>> It's uh low stress. Um >> Listen, we can't guarantee results, but >> No, we can't, but >> But the results are great this year,
30:49they were great last year.
30:50>> That's what I was going to say. When you're looking at the track record we have, Chris Wachtel hitting over 60% of
30:54his bets again.
30:55It's like, yeah, it's we can't guarantee results.
30:58>> 60% of his bets. He's an anytime touchdown guy. He's He's hitting 28% of his bets.
31:02>> Oh, it's our Brolly. Brolly is hitting over 60% of his bets.
31:04>> Yeah, for for multiple years in a row, Varner's is under that this year, but he's always a a slow starter. He was over 60% each
31:13of the previous 3 years.
31:15>> Yeah.
31:15>> And he's about to catch fire. He always crushes in the second half.
31:19>> One of these right now you can get 70% off your first month of the in-season betting package with promo code GRINDER.
31:24That is promo code GRINDER. That brings your first month down to just 5250.
31:30Head over to fantasypoints.com and get in the action today.
31:35Okay.
31:36Game four of 15.
31:38The Dallas Cowboys.
31:41I lost my place. I'm sorry here. Dallas Cowboys travel to Indianapolis to play the hapless Colts. This team is dead.
31:47Dead dead dead dead dead.
31:49Cowboys are favored by five and a half on the road. Another road favorite, Scott. This is insane. Over under 51 and
31:54a half. Start them if you got them game on the on the Cowboys side. I even like Ryan Florio, even though we're writing
32:00him out here. Um it's a really you know, Colts are bad against the slot, especially lately, but I like the note you put in the sheet. Is
32:07this a final like Javonte Williams, you know, Hulk smash game or does Dak Prescott finally get over and we get the
32:15CeeDee Lamb, George Pickens games?
32:17>> Yeah, this is the highest over under of the week, 51 and a half.
32:22And the note I put was, is this the ultimate get right spot for Dak Prescott or is this the Javonte Williams nuke
32:29game?
32:30I think if there were a great game to try and get Dak right, cuz Dak is having a a disappointing year. He's QB 12 in
32:38fantasy points per game, he's QB 7 in XFP per game. So, bad efficiency, but the volume's there. Uh he always is like top three in catchable
32:46throw rate. He's well below average this year. It's reminiscent of what was it?
32:522023 20 No, 2024.
32:56Uh something's off. Something seems off, but it's a great matchup.
32:59The Colts giving up the sixth most fantasy points per dropback.
33:04Here's my concern.
33:05>> Yeah.
33:06>> Dallas led the league in P row up until week seven. Led the league by a lot. And in the last 2 weeks they were negative
33:13in both games.
33:14Negative 4.8%. That's a bottom-five mark if over the full season. So, you have Javonte Williams who's been more Derrick Henry than
33:22Derrick Henry this year. He leads the league in rushing XTD.
33:25Their yards per carry is about the same.
33:28And so, maybe there's a chance it's like, "Okay, Dak's dealing with some confidence stuff. Let's try and get him right."
33:34That's kind of maybe what Chris thinks ranking him as the QB3.
33:39But he has Javonte RB12, and I feel like Javonte should be RB3.
33:45And Dak should be QB6. I don't know.
33:48>> Mhm. Do you want to kind of pinch him a little bit? Yeah, I it's it's one of those games where it's
33:54like they could probably just get whatever they want.
33:57>> Yeah.
33:57>> You know what I mean?
33:58>> Right. That's Well, that's why I framed it the way I did.
34:00>> Yes.
34:01>> Do you buy into that that psychology thing like it's important if they want to make the playoffs to get Dak right and
34:07build his confidence this week?
34:09>> Teams buy into it, 100%. They'll circle a game on the schedule, say, "All right, cool. We got Like they treat it as
34:14practice. We got to do some install. We got to figure out what's going on. We got to get Dak moving.
34:19You know, we'll we'll add some new things, some new wrinkles to try to to spark some life into this pass game.
34:23Yeah, that 100% teams do that. So, um you know, back when I was doing a lot of tendency prep for teams, they
34:31specifically would look for tendency stuff, tendency breakers where they could kind of do a weekly-based install to try to get a unit that's underperforming right. And
34:41so, that's definitely something they do.
34:42I wouldn't uh I wouldn't be shocked.
34:45>> NFL teams?
34:46>> Yeah, I did.
34:48>> It's pretty cool. The research for the week, you know?
34:50>> Yeah, I used to do research.
34:52A lot of it was tendency driven, you know, opponent tendency driven. So you're you're looking at things they do, weaknesses in
34:58you know, their scheme or whatever they're deploying, you could take advantage of it. Yep.
35:02>> Cool.
35:03>> Yeah, it is cool.
35:04On the Colts side um I I don't >> less red than you'd think, huh?
35:10>> For a team that's completely dead, yeah.
35:12I I low-key kind of like Josh Downs.
35:14Cowboys are awful against the slot, dude. They're They're allowing like 11.46 yards per target to slot receivers.
35:21They're also bad against play action, they're bad against 12 personnel. So you're like we're checking a lot of boxes here for Downs.
35:26>> [sighs and gasps] >> There's also rumors Pierce might get shut down, too.
35:30Like for the rest I know he's on IR, but >> Yeah, I mean they also might trade Josh Downs. So like I don't know maybe
35:37they're worried about Maybe it's a showcase game. Maybe they're worried about him getting hurt and just losing all that value.
35:43>> With him it should be.
35:44>> I I also think he's just getting brutally mugged and out-alpha'd by Keenan Allen. Dude, it's pretty pretty crazy and gross. Since week three,
35:53Keenan Allen ranks 13th in targets per route run, 16th in yardage market share, 18th in targets per game, top 24 in XFP per game or XFP per route
36:02run, top 24 in fantasy points per game, fantasy And so it By every measure he looks like a fringe wide receiver two.
36:09Josh Downs looks like a low-end wide receiver four. So Chris has them tied. I don't know. Keenan Allen just really the alpha
36:17um 34-year-old Keenan Allen kind of crazy. So >> Yeah, you got to You also got to bake in the anecdotal impact of Josh Downs going
36:26against his brother.
36:30>> Oh, interesting.
36:31>> Yeah. Like that's who's going to be covering him in >> brother?
36:34>> Little brother.
36:35>> Oh, little No, but he's going to he's totally going to big brother his little brother.
36:39>> Right. That's what I'm saying.
36:40>> Yeah, okay. Okay.
36:42>> Yeah.
36:42He's Especially his little brother just got made fun of by Trey McBride last week. Trey McBride said "You are a You were a first round pick? Like, what
36:52what the hell?"
36:53>> Yeah, so there was that and the Arizona offensive lineman was like dribbling him. Like, that was crazy. Rough week for
36:59>> was that was an illegal block in the back, by the way, that didn't get called, but >> So, his confidence has never been more
37:04in the dirt. Interesting. I mean, like, I don't know how you could start either guy with confidence, though. And and by
37:09the way, Tyler Warren's missing from this.
37:13Uh Tyler Warren's the one I I'd feel the most comfortable starting. Even Jonathan Taylor, it's like it's like, what if the
37:20Bengals call the Colts at halftime and it's like, "Hey, shut it down."
37:24>> Yeah.
37:25We've seen enough.
37:27True. True. All right, let's move on.
37:30The Jets are traveling to Kansas City.
37:32Is this going to be the the Aaron Glenn last stand? It kind of feels that way.
37:36Um Kansas City's favored by nine and a half points. Over/under of 47 and a half.
37:42Uh we're No Garrett Wilson.
37:44It looks like, right?
37:45>> Well, concussion protocol.
37:47>> Yeah, but it popped up in practice yesterday. He doesn't There's not enough days in the week, I think, for him to
37:51clear protocol, if I'm not mistaken. The correct me if I'm wrong comments, but I'm pretty sure that is true. The math
37:56won't math on this one, so he would have to practice tomorrow and I'm pretty sure he can't do that, so anyways, um
38:04what is that Just to say, let's treat this like there is no Garrett Wilson, what does it mean for some of the red
38:09guys you see here? Omar Cooper, Allen Lazard, so on and so on and so forth. And then we'll get to the running backs after that.
38:15>> Yeah, well, I think even if Garrett Wilson was going to play, I I'd be super skeptical of that.
38:19>> you were going to say that.
38:20>> Cuz what you know, we kind of [ __ ] all over him, you know, on >> No, you did.
38:24>> I did, yeah. Gleefully.
38:27Um by the way, 9.5 point spread.
38:30The Vegas thinks it's just like over for the Jets. Like, that's that's a field goal more than Lions-Dolphins.
38:38>> Yeah, bro, if like it actually is crazy when you frame it like that. Field goal more than Lions-Dolphins.
38:44That's why I said what I said. Is this the Is this Aaron Glenn's last stand? If they go If they get beat by 10 or more
38:49to the Chiefs, is it just over for him?
38:52Do they just move on?
38:53>> Yeah.
38:53>> They blew a 17-point lead last week.
38:56They lost to the Tennessee Titans the week before that.
38:59Like dude, I don't know. It's It's not great.
39:02>> Yeah. Well, the stat I had was um when all three Jets wide receivers are on the field together, Garrett Wilson's had
39:080.97 yards per route run. Omar Cooper's at 3.84. I don't know Mitchell at 3.24.
39:14Chris Wack, get with the times.
39:16>> We have a breaking We have breaking news. There's a trade in the NFL.
39:19>> Uh-oh.
39:20>> The stinky thing is this video won't come out until tomorrow. We're recording this on Wednesday. It won't come out till Thursday morning. But,
39:26the Arizona Cardinals have traded Jacoby Brissett to the Baltimore Ravens.
39:31>> Oh.
39:33Wow. So, my whole rant about Joey Finyano for nothing.
39:36>> Well, he's still starting this week.
39:38This is a start-sit show.
39:39>> Yeah, that's true. Hey, that's um good news for Mark Andrews.
39:43Jacoby Brissett always targets tight ends at the highest rate in the league.
39:45That's been true like every single year of his career dating back to college.
39:48>> It's good news for Zay Flowers, too.
39:50Let's be honest.
39:50>> Yeah, of course. Of course. I mean, a big upgrade over some no-name guy out of Maine.
39:55>> Big upgrade over Tyler Huntley, even I think, personally. But, anyways.
40:01Anyways.
40:02Okay.
40:03So, breaking news. Sorry that when you're listening to this, it's You've already known this information for a whole day now at this point. But,
40:09>> So, Omar Cooper Jr. ranks top three in yards per route run among all wide receivers. 100-plus yards and a touchdown in two of his three career
40:18starts, full games.
40:20But, zero targets last week. I don't know Mitchell the ass god leads the league in ass, average separation score.
40:27Um had a monster game last week.
40:31The problem with this is like it's kind of tricky to figure out who exactly is going to go off. It's kind of like
40:39>> Uh >> pick your poison sort of thing. But, yeah, I I I would I wouldn't have any of them lower than
40:46>> Well, Garrett being out helps though, right?
40:48>> Yeah, no, absolutely. I mean they're all over Josh Downs. Like I'd rather start them than than Josh Downs we were just
40:53talking about.
40:53>> Sure. Sure.
40:55>> And then Braelon Allen, too, by the way, we have him as a low-end RB1. Obviously, that changes if Breece Hall's back, and
41:01I think he's going to be back. Uh but without Breece Hall, man, it was good.
41:0416.5 fantasy points per game.
41:07You know, top 15 in in that, top 15 in XFP per game. The efficiency's been awesome, second best in rushing success
41:14rate this year. It's a It's a bottom-10 matchup for him, but still uh so I like that projection, for sure.
41:21>> You know what else has been awesome?
41:24You.
41:24>> Oh.
41:25>> I can't I still can't believe you're here.
41:28It's blowing my mind. Trey, we took side bets, Trey and I, and and everyone There was no action. Everyone thought you
41:33would you wouldn't show today.
41:35So.
41:35>> Bro, I You don't know me, clearly. You think you do? You don't.
41:39>> You don't know me, son.
41:40>> You know what I think it is? It's It's cuz I'm such a whiny baby whenever I get a headache, which which I get like once
41:45a month, and it lasts 24 hours.
41:48And I'm such a one But like I feel like you could chop my hands off, and I'll just be like, "Ah, it's fine." I'm But
41:53if I have a headache or like a cold, I just It's awful.
41:57>> abducted and waterboarded, and you're totally fine with it. But a little headache, "Oh, man, I have to do a show
42:02today."
42:03>> That's exactly right. That's exactly right.
42:05>> All right. On the Chiefs' side of this, we have I mean Kenneth Walker I I want to I want to
42:12pick your brain on Emmet Johnson. We didn't really get to talk about him cuz you weren't here yesterday.
42:16What do you make He's like the efficiency's insane. He's touching the ball, and he's getting explosive plays, but he's not touching the ball very
42:22often. I Is this any threat to Kenneth Walker at all, or no?
42:26>> I I think it could cap his upside cuz he's I know that was really just like a busted coverage play or whatever last
42:32week, but he really is a very good pass-catcher, probably better than Kenneth Walker. So there's a world where you see a sort of game script split
42:40where Emmet Johnson becomes more of the scatback, more of the Jerick McKinnon in this offense.
42:46>> Mhm.
42:46>> Uh but I don't think we're there yet.
42:48The big thing really for me is just I love Kenneth Walker. I'm his biggest fan. He was an Exodia last year.
42:54Um and the whole time this year in the leagues that I own him, I'm I still feel like I'm holding my breath every week that he
43:01doesn't get hurt.
43:02Um and so in which case if he does go down, Emari Johnson looks like a guy you he's just going to be a every week RB1.
43:10And so there's that. And yeah, like you said, he's playing really well. The efficiency's out of control. I I don't see him forcing a committee without an
43:17injury to Kenneth Walker, but certainly a player to stash.
43:21Um Rashee Rice, I think is I don't know. 15.5 fantasy points per game over his last three full games.
43:29The volume really hasn't been as good as that sounds. Chris says wide receiver 23.
43:34That's That makes sense to me. Travis Kelce tight end seven, that makes sense to me. But I want to go on a little
43:39tangent on Xavier Worthy.
43:41>> You just going to tell everyone he stinks for the 100th time?
43:43>> This dude stinks.
43:46He stinks.
43:48And we This is what we said since before he got drafted. Can we just say it's finally over? Here's the stats for you.
43:5437 career regular season games. He's never hit 85 receiving yards in 37 career regular season games with six or more targets in over half of those.
44:04Over the last two weeks, he has 12 targets, Brett.
44:08You want to guess how many yards he has in those 12 targets?
44:11>> 12 yards. 12 yards.
44:13>> 24 yards. That's a 2.0 yard per target average. Our boy Cyrus Allen is above that on just four targets. So
44:22it's over. This guy stinks. He's the slowest 4-2 runner of all time.
44:29And guess what? There's more to playing the wide receiver position than running fast in a straight line.
44:34>> Yeah, put another one to go on your chart.
44:36>> I know.
44:36>> 4-2 players that stink.
44:37>> I I don't know why the NFL keeps whiffing on this when some fantasy dweeb called it out 15 years ago.
44:45>> Something I want to do I I actually like I talked to a guy who does speed and agility training for soccer players.
44:52I I to ask him if there are for players that are extremely gifted linearly, like explosive straight-line speed, if there if that comes with biomechanical
45:01deficiencies elsewhere.
45:03>> Well, I think you see it with an increased injury rate for sure, but it's it's really what's the most important
45:08thing for wide receivers, it's route running, which is but it's but no, it's body control. Body control, route running, which is it's a little bit film
45:18study, a little bit IQ, it's a lot of body control, it's a lot of >> It's all about route running is body
45:23control. You got to be able to stop your body from once you're running full speed on a dime, change directions quickly,
45:29yeah. So, that's what I that's what I'm getting at. It's like these guys you run for, too, do they have other
45:35biomechanical deficiencies that stop them from being able to develop those skills cuz it's weird that every single one of them lacks those skills minus
45:42Tyreek Hill.
45:43>> DeSean Jackson, Tyreek Hill, the most one-of-one players ever.
45:47>> Yeah.
45:49Okay.
45:49>> there's a freaking Tyreek Hill comp. This This is and the guy sucks. He sucks so bad.
45:57>> Zakhari Brench this year, you remember this?
46:00Hilarious.
46:01Uh shout out motion man, another another Falcon, Zakhari Brench.
46:07Uh Travis Kelce.
46:10You know what? Now that I'm trying to not say all right, I'm saying ah a lot and I don't like that either. So, we got
46:15to find >> What is this, Brett? Just just be yourself.
46:18Let Let the haters scream into the void.
46:23I don't apologize for anything.
46:24>> I I never called the person out.
46:26>> who I am. You're Oh, you're going to make fun of me for saying all right?
46:29>> No, no. I think I think a a quality of mine that I like is >> from how many times I say all right?
46:38>> I like to take constructive feedback and apply it. Guy called me out for how much I say all right. I'm not mad at him for
46:44that. I don't I'm not >> Hey, hey, YouTube commenters, do you do you like Brett saying all right?
46:49Or do Do you like him feeling self-conscious and uh >> You listen to the commenters too much.
46:55Hey everyone, go comment about this.
46:57>> [laughter] >> All right, I'm moving on. Detroit's going to to Miami. Uh they're favored by seven on the road. Another road
47:04favorite. Over under a 50 and 1/2. Start them if you got them game on the Lions.
47:07I don't know that we need analysis here to be honest with you. Just if you have a lion, start them. Minus Isaac TeSlaa.
47:14Jameson Williams, I think has a really good match up. Dolphins stink on deep balls. Um they're I think they're giving up the highest catch rate It's 60% catch
47:20rate on throws 20 plus yards downfield, which is absurd. So, but that's not all Jamo is. Jamo over the last four weeks
47:26is wide receiver eight in fantasy points.
47:28Averaging 75 yards per game as well, which is That's the best stretch of his career. So, um yeah, I like Jamo, but I like
47:35everybody. I think Chris has got this pretty much nailed.
47:38>> Bro, only seven-point favorites.
47:41They have a 70% chance of winning. The Chiefs are at like 83.
47:44>> It's a road game. Can I tell you something? I'm a little concerned about this game.
47:48>> Why is that?
47:49>> Because I think the Lions have have some some guys who'd like to get down. They'd like to party. They're traveling to
47:54Miami.
47:55I don't like it. Like Saturday night could be rough. They're think they got an easy opponent rolling in.
48:001:00 p.m. game in Miami. Might be a little hot and sweaty, you know, way way hotter than Michigan. They're going to
48:06be hungover. I don't like it. I really don't like it. Dan Campbell better have these guys in line. You know what I'm
48:11saying?
48:12>> Bro, so it was a big thing in DFS is Ben Roethlisberger's home-road splits. It was crazy. He was so much He was so much
48:20better at home and he sucked on the road. And like Johnny and I were like when he did our DFS shows, it's like, I
48:27feel like this isn't something that should be shouldn't be real or it's going to regress to the mean or it's variance, but like it's been so real I'm
48:33just going to keep treating it real. We only played Ben Roethlisberger at home in DFS, always faded him on the road.
48:38Worked out really well for us.
48:40And Johnny at one point was like, I bet he's just like like either going to strip clubs or he's like up late at night watching porn away
48:50from his wife cuz he's always dealing with like tennis elbow on his throwing.
48:55And then uh and then it came came out after he retired. He's like, yeah, the horrible porn addiction.
49:01I'd be at the hotel away from my wife and up late at night." And it's like, yeah, they called it. That's a That's a
49:07thing. But, Jared Goff has has uh extreme home/road splits.
49:12Um I'm not I'm not going to make any accusations. I'm not going to say what that is, but we we do know that
49:18>> Small hands, Scott. It's small hands.
49:19Relax.
49:20>> what it is?
49:20>> Yeah, you just any weather, he's not great cuz of the small hands. He's got to wear gloves.
49:25>> That's right.
49:25>> a QB that has to wear gloves.
49:26>> Okay. Well, that's what that is.
49:28Um I think I think the key talking point on this, Brett, is our podcast tearing this team apart?
49:39Are multiple podcasts destroying the Detroit Lions because um Jameson Williams, who I had dead and
49:48buried, since Amon-Ra St. Brown did that podcast with Jared Goff where he kind of threw him under the bus, he brought up a bunch of stuff
49:58publicly instead of pulling him aside privately.
50:01Um Since that happened, Amon-Ra St. Brown is the wide receiver six in XFP per game, the wide receiver 11 in fantasy points per game. Jameson
50:13Williams, wide receiver seven in XFP per game, wide receiver six in fantasy points per game. Is this the new wide receiver one? And then, Sam LaPorta on a
50:21separate podcast complaining about pay, he was averaging 17.2 fantasy points per game through the first six week weeks of the season, right behind Trey McBride.
50:31Since then, 4.7.
50:33This isn't an ideal matchup for him.
50:35Miami, a bottom-three defense against tight ends. But, yeah, what's going on here?
50:38>> defense against everybody.
50:41Miami sucks against everything.
50:42>> They're amazing against wide receivers just based on the fantasy production.
50:46>> Yeah, but that's just cuz of volume.
50:47Like, it's They don't have any corners that can cover anybody.
50:50>> They're They're dead last in EPA per dropback, but teams are It's much easier to run on them, throw to tight ends.
50:56>> And game scripts get out of control, and then you're just not throwing anymore.
50:59>> Yeah. Are you [snorts] buying the podcast narrative? And which which one for who?
51:03>> No. Or do you just want me to say yes for the bit?
51:08>> I don't know. You're Jameson Williams' biggest fan. How good can he be?
51:13Wide receiver 25 versus Amon-Ra's wide receiver five. You like that?
51:17>> I I personally I think I'd pinch him a little bit.
51:20>> Yeah, that's what I thought.
51:21>> Yeah.
51:22I think also think it's likely Miami puts Chris Johnson on Amon-Ra this week.
51:26Which isn't like that's not scary. He's a rookie, right? But like you know, they have no one else at corner. So if that happens, it's like
51:33Jamo's just got layups all game.
51:35>> Yeah.
51:37>> Yeah.
51:38Start him if you got him. Miami side, Ali Gordon, you know, we're calling him a start. It's a tough match up though.
51:42Detroit's been stingy especially lately against the run.
51:46Um he should get some volume though.
51:50>> Yeah, since week four >> I think this is fine to be honest. RB 19.
51:54>> Since week four he's RB 20 in fantasy points per game, RB 10 in XFP per game.
51:59Detroit, a top-three matchup against running backs, which isn't great for him.
52:04>> Yeah.
52:05>> I I don't know that you need to start any Hey, I got a I got a crazy Malik Willis stat.
52:09>> Okay.
52:10>> He's top three in EPA the last two weeks.
52:14Detroit looks like an amazing matchup on paper, but you've been saying their defense really turned a corner.
52:22>> Well, yeah. Look at the results of the last three games. They've been much better. And then someone someone inevitably in the
52:27comments is going to say, "Well, it's cuz they played bad teams." But well, guess what the Dolphins are? Bad team.
52:34Uh Greg Dulcich, this is a great matchup for Greg Dulcich.
52:36>> what Ryan said. Ryan likes him as a streamer. Chris has him at tight end 25, but >> That's insane.
52:41>> Over the over the last three games, his route share has jumped to 63%, 20% target share.
52:47Uh Detroit's giving up nine more fantasy points per game to tight ends than any other defense.
52:52>> Yeah. For from a prop standpoint, too, Dulcich's line this week I it opened at 35 and a half. I'm sure
52:58it's going to get bet up cuz people are sharp on it, but the Lions haven't allowed less than 36 yards to any starting tight end this
53:05season.
53:06>> Yeah.
53:07So, that's a really nice >> They've also given up like at least 12 fantasy points to 11 different tight ends this year.
53:13>> Yeah, it's it's it's absurd.
53:14>> Through seven games.
53:17>> Hey, they shut down Kevin Bartholomew though last week.
53:19>> Oh. Hang the banner.
53:21>> Hang the banner.
53:22Game >> drink That's like do a shot. I feel like we say hang the banner a lot.
53:26>> It's a it's a great phrase. Hang the banner.
53:27>> yeah. I I took it from you.
53:29>> Did you?
53:30>> Yeah, you you did it a lot and then I was like, you know what? That's a great phrase.
53:33>> Oh, got you.
53:36Cleveland at New Orleans.
53:38Um the Saints are 1 and 1/2 point home favorite. Over/under 43.
53:44Not sure.
53:45Not sure here. I don't I don't have a ton of notes. I mean it >> Well, the screen's lying to you.
53:50>> Why?
53:51>> Says Deshaun Watson.
53:53>> Oh, yeah.
53:54>> Doesn't say Shedeur Sanders.
53:55>> That's true. Breaking news, Deshaun Watson is going to sit this.
53:59He's hurt. Shedeur Sanders will get his first start of the season.
54:04Opportunity to hold this job potentially. I don't think I mean Deshaun's been okay. He's been better than we expected him to be, but I don't
54:10know that he's done enough to like grab it by the balls.
54:15>> Yeah.
54:16>> You know? Whereas Shedeur If Shedeur comes in and tears it up, he could potentially keep the job, but anyways, big audition moment for Shedeur Sanders.
54:22Quinshon Judkins has a great matchup.
54:23New Orleans run defense is awful.
54:26But, it's Quinshon Judkins. It's like I don't I don't know how excited we are about >> I you know what? I'm actually excited.
54:30You know, his biggest hater, arguably, I'm actually like I This this might be the most I like him for the rest of the year. It's an elite
54:37on-paper matchup. Yeah, this is a close spread. Um >> Yeah, it is.
54:42>> 43% chance the Browns win, basically. Do So, good game script, hopefully, or there's a chance at good game script.
54:49The Saints are allowing the most fantasy points per game to running backs, the most rushing fantasy points per game to running backs. Dylan Sampson's back. Um
54:57but, he has an 80% carry share. He's He's just doing nothing through the air.
55:02And so, ideally, that doesn't hurt him in a close uh script game.
55:08In a great on paper match up, so uh I actually do like him as a start and then if you still own him, try and sell
55:14because after this um And I don't like Denzel Boston who who's Brad, is he a sacrificial axe? Did he Did he crack your threshold?
55:24>> Oh god, I don't I don't know. I got to look. Hold on.
55:31>> Borderline still?
55:34>> We're looking. Hold on.
55:36Uh Oh, he's he's still still in the clear.
55:43Still in the clear, but we're close.
55:45We're still We're right on the cusp. One one bad game and he's out.
55:49>> Yeah.
55:49>> So.
55:50>> Uh but you have Harold Fannin who has 245 yards over his last two games.
55:58And you have Shedeur Sanders who targeted him 32% of the time.
56:02Crazy. Deshaun Watson down at 23%. So hopefully this is a huge win for him.
56:08Kasey Concepshion who you love Brad. I I'm a lot more skeptical of um The positive stat is he's had a 20% target share in five of
56:18his last six full games. The negative stat is in spite of that, he's reached 11.5 fantasy points only once all year.
56:25>> Mhm.
56:26>> So not good, but who is Shedeur Sanders?
56:30He's just like super low A-dot. Not going to throw the ball farther than the sticks.
56:37Uh a lot of behind the line of scrimmage throws and it seems to me like that fits Harold Fannin, a YAC god, and it fits
56:46Kasey Concepshion who's kind of used that way with Deshaun Watson as well. So I I really favor Fannin, but it wouldn't
56:55surprise me if this was Kasey one of Kasey's better games.
56:58>> New Orleans has been really bad against the slot lately.
57:00>> Yeah.
57:01>> Like really They gave up a 51-yard touchdown to DK Metcalf last week. Or actually it wasn't a touchdown.
57:06Forgot he got tackled.
57:08>> Um >> They gave up a 49-yard reception to Charlie Jones the week before that.
57:13They gave up five for 89 to Malik Nabers the week before or same week as Charlie Jones. Like that's I I think Jonas Sanger is kind of in a
57:20bit of a rough patch right now. Their slot corner, their nickel, and I think uh I think it's a good match-up for KCC.
57:27I have him higher than Denzel Boston, for sure.
57:31Okay.
57:32>> Yeah, screw Denzel Boston.
57:34>> Okay. On the New Orleans side, did This is crazy. We We have too many people on the screen. My My brain is breaking.
57:40Is Travis Etienne coming back? Do we know yet?
57:43>> I don't think we do.
57:44>> Okay.
57:46Alvin Kamara sit, Kendre Miller on the fence.
57:50You know, is that is is he a what the heck flex?
57:53>> The decision's expected to be to be made today, which means yesterday for the people watching. Sorry.
58:00>> Yeah.
58:00>> Sorry.
58:02>> What do you What are your thoughts on the Saints? I >> Well, I think this is interesting. I think this is worth talking about.
58:08The Saints have really disappeared over the last few weeks after a super hot start. Um and I was digging into it and
58:14I'm like, "Well, the Saints were top-10 in PFF grade, uh but over the last month they they're bottom-10 in PFF grade, which is so
58:23stupid given how bad their running backs are." They just fired Ryan Pagnetti's brother, who was the run game coordinator. And now he said coming out
58:31of the bye, they want to run even more, which is so stupid and concerning. You had Chris Olave, who had 85-plus yards
58:38in seven straight games averaging 25 fantasy points per game, but he's been under 60 now three games in a row averaging 11.5. I was like, "Ryan, like
58:48help me make sense of this." And he's like, "Yeah, I don't think this is anything."
58:52They played They played the best defense in the league in the Vikings. Then they had a game in France. And yeah, so I I kind of I
59:02that kind of brought me back to reality and a little bit more bullish, I think.
59:06Uh if it if I Yeah, I kind of like I kind of like the Saints to surprise us here. It's a
59:13man-heavy matchup, which is massive for Tyler Shuck. It's a single-high heavy matchup, which is huge for Chris Olave and De'Von Achane. Uh
59:23they're also extremely vulnerable in the slot, which is further good for De'Von Achane.
59:29Um so, yeah, I think this could be uh Uh I'm a little more optimistic than I expected to be.
59:36>> Yeah, I I feel like I'm kind of with you. I definitely been willing to excuse the last couple weeks cuz of
59:41circumstance for the Saints, but I'm also in a kind of wait-and-see approach here.
59:45I'm not going to be super excited about any of these guys until they kind of break out of the slump they're in. So.
59:50>> Yeah, Shuck to me is is like fancy Jacoby Brissett.
59:54He's QB3 in XFP per game, QB11 in fantasy points per game, second in dropbacks per game. It's really all volume, but he's just not playing well.
60:03>> Yeah.
60:05All right. Final game of the show. The New York Giants our boy, the golden boy, J.J. McCarthy taking on the Philadelphia Eagles.
60:14Another road favorite three and a half.
60:17Joe Milton getting the start for the Eagles. So, the Oh, the screen's correct. Look at that motion man coming through.
60:23>> Damn.
60:24>> Dang.
60:25Uh let's start on the Giants side of the ball. Like I know Chris is an Eagles fan and I know he hates J.J. McCarthy. Is QB21
60:33disrespectful?
60:35>> You know what's disrespectful to you?
60:37>> Yeah, and that's all that matters.
60:40>> I would feel very disrespected right now.
60:43He thinks you're a chump. He thinks you're a an idiot who doesn't know anything.
60:47>> Listen, if Jackson Dart's the the next Patrick Mahomes and J.J. McCarthy is the next John Elway, okay?
60:53>> Wow.
60:54Look at that.
60:54>> So, like >> Hey, here's the here's the pro argument.
60:57Your guy, J.J. McCarthy, he's averaging 10.9 yards per attempt with the Giants.
61:02330 passing yards per four quarters.
61:05It's actually a little bit better than that because uh overtime isn't like a full quarter and then he came into the fourth quarter
61:12that wasn't a full. So, it's actually even higher than that, but whatever.
61:14We'll just say Philadelphia top 12 matchup for quarterbacks.
61:18Um he did have Jameis Winston steal some fantasy points from him what his last game which wasn't great, but I don't know. I I
61:26>> Cuz the QB sneak stuff you seen?
61:28>> Yeah, but I I'm kind of with you. I'm kind of I'm cautiously optimistic here.
61:32>> Yeah. Yeah, me too.
61:34I I think he should have a good game.
61:36The The Eagles just kind of feel done.
61:39Right? They're making another QB change.
61:42They got a lot of injuries, a lot of people checked out.
61:44>> They're They're playing Eli Stowers over Dallas Goedert in a full-time role to see what they have in the guy because
61:50they have to make a decision regarding his contract extension in the off-season.
61:55There's just a lot of things hinting at a team that's like let's start over.
62:01>> When I That said, I really like Malik Nabers. I've been picking on Cooper DeJean all season long.
62:06>> if he's available on your league. We talked about that in the waiver wire show.
62:10>> Only I just double-checked, too. Only owned in 99% of leagues.
62:13>> Wow. Is that 99.9% or >> Ooh, I didn't get a decimal, but I I I saw the 99, so yeah, pick him up if he's
62:20available. But no, I I've been picking on Cooper DeJean in in these individual matchups all season to much success. And one thing I've noticed from Nabers
62:28lately is they are willing to move him in the in the slot to get favorable matchups. They did against New Orleans,
62:33he had five five catches out of the slot for 89 yards. I think they're probably going to be willing to do that again
62:39this week considering >> Wow. Well, well, you hear heard it here first folks. Uh we have Malik Nabers who has 100-plus yards in four straight
62:47games as a start this week according to Brett with the bold take, the hot take from Brett.
62:54>> Don't do this to me. You You're the king of You went on a 10-minute rant about Puka Nacua on last week's start sit
63:00show.
63:00>> Yeah.
63:01>> I said start sit show again. Yeah, so like don't don't do this to me. I'm saying I like him better than our Is
63:07that wide receiver seven projection?
63:09Yeah. Yeah, I I like him a little bit better than that. So >> Uh Quez Watkins is technically day-to-day with a hamstring and could be
63:17a game-time decision. Jeff Mueller kind of thought he'd be fine, but there's some weirdness in the reporting, at least last when I pulled it up. Um but
63:26yeah, this is probably one of the higher projections we've had for him. Um it's because he played his best game of the
63:33year by a lot right before the buy.
63:35Najee Harris is no longer with the team.
63:37Tyrone Tracy's on IR.
63:39Uh so hopefully bell cow utilization.
63:43Um I just had a you're you're starting Isaiah Likely, you're sitting Malachi Fields, but just keep an eye on this one.
63:50Um with JJ McCarthy, Fields has seen his target share double. Likely has seen his target share have. And you do see coming
63:59out of the buy rookies more involved. If you need a little speculative add, you could do worse than Malachi Fields.
64:08>> Uh Malachi Fields is built like a tight end for what it's worth.
64:11>> Yeah. Yeah, you're Uh runs a 40 like a tight end as well.
64:16Like a blocking Nate Burketure tight end.
64:18>> Ben Skowronek.
64:20>> Yeah.
64:21>> Isaiah Likely, is he likely to break out or not?
64:26You see what I did there?
64:27>> Yeah.
64:29>> [snorts] >> Um so here's my notes on him. So he's he's top three at the position in fantasy points per game XFP per game.
64:36Uh target share would rank top 15 among wide receivers. He's basically a slot wide receiver. He runs over 80% of his
64:42routes from the slot. The Eagles are massive slot funnel. Brett said, "Malik Nabers versus Cooper DeJean." Yeah, that's going to be like 25 to 33% of his
64:52routes, but that's going to be 80% plus of Isaiah Likely's routes. Major slot funnel. Third most fantasy points per game in the slot. Sixth fewest on the
65:00outside.
65:02But, they're giving up the third fewest fantasy points per game to tight ends.
65:06Is it What does this mean, Brett? Is he more of a tight end, more of a slot?
65:10Which stat matters more to you?
65:13>> You You asking about Likely?
65:14>> Yeah.
65:17Is he going to get Cooper Cooper No. a >> He's a move tight end. He's a move tight end.
65:21>> Does he get Cooper DeJean in the slot?
65:23>> No.
65:24>> Sometimes?
65:25>> No, he won't. I mean, yeah, occasionally, yeah.
65:29He'll draw a linebacker or a safety.
65:33>> Which is still great.
65:35>> Yeah.
65:36Still fine.
65:37>> Yeah.
65:39Yeah.
65:40>> All right. Eagle side.
65:41>> I just said all right.
65:43All right. All right.
65:45>> Eagle side here.
65:45>> That's all right, Brad. That's all right.
65:48>> It's red. We don't even know what we're going to get out of Joe Milton. This dude stinks. They just acquired him. So,
65:53like >> Does he stink?
65:55He's kind of fun. He throws like a 99 mph fastball.
65:59>> He's like a a Madden create a character player.
66:02>> Yeah. Arm strength 99 and everything else is 60.
66:05>> Yeah, raw, [snorts] like raw physical tools, but then it like just doesn't do anything well.
66:10>> You know, he's cousins with Anquan Boldin?
66:13>> Is he actually?
66:14>> Yeah.
66:15>> You know what's funny about this game?
66:17Pretty sure J.J. McCarthy took Joe Milton's job at Michigan and that's why Joe Milton transferred to Tennessee.
66:24So, there's that, that component here. Maybe Joe Milton revenge game.
66:29>> Look at that. Yeah.
66:30>> you, J.J.
66:31You ruined my life.
66:33I'm on my fifth team in 1 year because of you.
66:37Okay. Do you Do you have any notes on the Eagles or should I just say goodbye to the listeners?
66:43>> Um I'm It's all red. It's all And this is It's all red, yeah. So, I would say keep an eye on Saquon. It's
66:52just, you know, is it It would He only had a 32% snap share last week, but it came after just only one limited practice with back
67:01and hamstring injuries. Um you know, if he if he practice in full and like it's Oh, no, he's Jake Laser Sunday mornings like, all
67:09right, he's going to be the bell cow. Um we're going to have him a lot higher than this RB28 projection, but that's
67:13really the only guy. I mean, Tanner McKee sucked, but like he's a guy who can layer the ball, throw over the
67:19middle of the field. Joe Milton's kind of just the deep ball, so I don't think that that suits Mekhi Leven.
67:26Devonta Smith, I feel like you kind of have to start if he plays, but even him you worry about health.
67:31Dallas Goedert has to worry about Stowers.
67:35Um >> It's Darius Cooper game, obviously.
67:37>> Yeah, yep. There you go.
67:39>> Dontayvion Wicks game, obviously.
67:41Aren't Aren't those guys hurt? Is it Is it one of them not playing?
67:44Or both of them?
67:45>> matter, >> know. I'm I'm I'm totally messing.
67:49All right, let's get out of here. You know what's cool about tomorrow's show?
67:52>> What's that?
67:53>> Is we're leading The Game we're leading off with is the Rams at the Commanders.
67:57What just came out about Matthew Stafford this year? Did you see this, or were you too busy?
67:59>> Oh, Brett was right. Brett called it when no one else did.
68:05>> I mean, the most obvious thing ever.
68:07>> Yeah.
68:07>> I was actually gaslit, too. I was told this is crazy.
68:11You're just not watching the games. They don't have Davante Adams. Of course they can't throw deep.
68:14>> Why are you such a gaslighting victim?
68:16You're always being gaslit.
68:19>> I think it's cuz I'm a little verbose, you know?
68:21Like when I say something, I kind of say it with my chest, and so it makes me an easy target. I don't know.
68:26I don't know. It's fine.
68:28It is what it is.
68:30You ready to get out of here?
68:31>> Sure.
68:31>> How do your nuts feel right now? You just sat here for an hour talking to me.
68:34They're good?
68:34>> They're great. I'm doing great.
68:36Shout out to Cody.
68:40My good friend Cody.
68:42Wink wink.
68:45>> [gasps] >> All right. Uh guys, if you're new here >> I'm a young money millionaire. Taught by
68:54an Nigerian hat.
68:58>> Oh, wow.
68:58>> Do you know that?
68:59>> No, I mean, I know the reference, but I don't know the lyrics. I mean, that's unbelievable.
69:03That's unbelievable, truly. I didn't know you were a a Lil Wayne guy.
69:07>> I get it. Lil Wayne, I Listen, I get it.
