Antonio Williams

PositiveValue15:00

Antonio Williams is ranked as a shaky flex play, positioned near the top of that tier in the Rams-Commanders matchup. The source expresses optimism about Williams' performance so far and states there's a case to be made that he's nearly as valuable as Stefon Diggs at this point. If Trent McDuffy and Cam Curl miss, Williams becomes a more attractive flex option, especially if Trayon Burks also misses.

Insight page

Boston Scott

PositiveMatchup12:43

Great matchup against Saints defense with Vegas projecting 44.5 receiving yards; closer to top of shaky flex tier than dub flex tier. Switching off with Casey Conpion and Harold Fannon on underneath targets and volume. Source would start Boston over Casey Conpion but not overly excited to get him into lineup; primed to pop off and have a big game.

Insight page

Caleb Douglas

PositiveValue10:59

Caleb Douglas has been the highest ceiling and best receiver in the Miami receiver core in the source's opinion; he is ranked above Malik Washington and would be started over him. Placed in the shaky flex category with a good matchup against Detroit secondary; comparable tier to Adonai Mitchell and Jakobi Meyers. The source is not overly excited to play any Miami receivers overall.

Insight page

Chris Bell

NegativeRole10:59

The source does not want to start Chris Bell; he is placed outside the shaky flex category due to limited upside in the passing offense.

Insight page

Christian McCaffrey

NegativeInjury16:55

Christian McCaffrey has a DNP (did not participate) designation and his status is uncertain for the Raiders-49ers game. If McCaffrey is out, targets will be condensed to secondary receivers like George Kittle, Christian Kirk, and DeMarcus Robinson, reducing their reliability.

Insight page

D.J. Moore

PositiveProjection47:27

Week 9 WR ranking dub flex. Moore returned last week and looked really, really good, opening up the offense. He suffered a knee hyperextension and took multiple big shots on his shoulder post-game, likely feeling sore, but the source expects him to play through it. With an extra day of rest before Monday's game, Moore is probably better than most players in the dub flex tier and likely to have a better fantasy day despite the tough Vikings matchup.

Insight page

Deebo Samuel

PositiveInjury16:57

Deebo Samuel is likely to miss Week 9 against the Raiders despite coming off a bye week. He is dealing with a hamstring injury. John Lynch reported it is more likely than not that both Deebo and Mike Evans will miss the game, which affects target distribution for 49ers receivers.

Insight page

Denzel Boston

PositiveRole12:39

Denzel Boston is a big upgrade to the receiver position compared to last year; represents significant talent improvement for the Browns offense. With Shadur Sanders at quarterback, there is uncertainty about target distribution, but Boston's talent level is notably elevated.

Insight page

DeVonta Smith

NegativeInjury13:39

Starting off the week with a DMP (Designated Medical Professional), sign of not returning for this game; expected to be out another week. His absence opens up opportunities for other Eagles receivers.

Insight page

Drake London

PositiveProjection3:06

Must-start for Week 9 against Cincinnati; massive target share with Joe Burrow in recent sample. Additional upgrade: Bengals' elite outside cornerback DJ Turner (DNP Wednesday after injury last week) likely out, which is a massive matchup advantage for London.

Insight page

Eli Raridon

PositiveRole24:45

With Hunter Henry out and AJ Brown likely out, Eli Raridon becomes the likely tight end target for Drake Maye in Week 9. The source is interested in him as potentially startable this week if Hunter Henry also misses, making him a viable streaming option in a Patriots offense spreading the ball around.

Insight page

Gabriel Davis

NegativeProjection46:54

Week 9 WR ranking remains shaky flex. The source states Davis has not earned getting out of the shaky flex category despite the Vikings being underdogs and needing to score to keep up with the Bills offense.

Insight page

Garrett Wilson

PositiveProjection9:00

Garrett Wilson is ranked as a 'feels good' play with the most consistency and highest upside among Jets receivers despite a tough matchup. He saw 12 targets last week and remains the leading target guy on a week-to-week basis; the source projects him to be the best receiver with the most consistency and highest upside, though his season has been a roller coaster like most Jets receivers.

Insight page

Hunter Henry

NegativeInjury24:03

Hunter Henry left last week's game with a foot injury and was a DNP (did not practice) on Wednesday, raising concerns about his availability for Week 9 and potentially opening up the tight end role for backup options like Eli Raridon.

Insight page

Isaac TeSlaa

NegativeRole10:59

The source does not want to start Isaac Tesla; he is placed outside the shaky flex category due to limited upside in the passing offense.

Insight page

Jalen Coker

NegativeProjection3:49

Dub flex for Week 9 despite disappointing last couple weeks as Bryce Young-led Panthers passing offense has declined. However, the source avoids overemphasizing recency bias, noting Coker was highly productive for 12–13 games earlier in the season. Would start him over Jacobe Myers or Courtland Sutton, though with less confidence due to Panthers offensive struggles.

Insight page

Jalen Hurts

NegativeInjury14:36

Out with knee injury heading into Week 9; did not practice on Wednesday. Tanner McKee taking over at quarterback for the Eagles, creating a downgrade for all Eagles pass catchers. Source notes he's trending in the wrong direction with the knee injury.

Insight page

Jameson Williams

NegativeValue10:40

Jameson Williams is ranked as a 'feels good' start in the dub flex category for Week 9 despite a Miami matchup on paper and a pretty low Vegas line; he has been really hot recently and will be started ahead of other Lions receivers. Risk: could be a Sam LaPorta game, which means a lower floor for Williams, but the source still prefers to start him over other flex options.

Insight page

Jaylen Waddle

NegativeProjection4:16

Incredibly inconsistent for Week 9; bottom of dub flex, top of shaky flex category. Ranks below Zay Flowers but above Jacobe Myers in start/sit hierarchy. Can always pop for a big play but has been so inconsistent and bad this year. Panthers likely without Mike Jackson and JC Horn, which should provide good QB matchup for Denver, limiting Waddle's upside.

Insight page

Josh Downs

NegativeUsage6:23

Josh Downs is on the trade block, creating uncertainty about snap counts and offensive load; the source worries the Colts may lighten his load to prevent injury. Despite being ranked above Jacobe Meyers in the Week 9 start/sit hierarchy, the source has very little confidence in the Colts offense and would start Keenan Allen above Downs.

Insight page

Justin Jefferson

PositiveProjection45:42

Week 9 WR ranking improved with Carson Wentz confirmed as Vikings starting QB over Kyler Murray (hamstring strain). The source feels 'a lot better' about Jefferson with this QB change. Historical data shows Jefferson averaged 95+ receiving yards per game in games with Wentz last year, though touchdowns were limited.

Insight page

Keenan Allen

PositiveProjection7:00

Keenan Allen is placed in the dub flex category with a very high floor; he out-targets most players in the Colts passing offense and faces a great matchup. Allen has caught at least 5 passes in 5 of 7 games and at least 6 passes in 4 of 7 games, providing a really solid floor in PPR more often than not. The source would start him above Josh Downs and Jacobe Meyers, though not over Jaylen Cooker due to Cooker's higher ceiling.

Insight page

Malik Washington

NegativeValue10:59

Malik Washington has a nice floor but is ranked below Caleb Douglas in the Miami receiver hierarchy; the source would start Caleb Douglas over him despite Washington's floor appeal. Placed in the shaky flex category due to unpredictability of the passing offense.

Insight page

Michael Wilson

NegativeMatchup21:56

Michael Wilson is a sit recommendation for Week 9 despite a huge performance last week against Dallas. The source cautions that his previous success came against the Cowboys defense and notes he 'has also struggled mightily versus' Seattle's defense in his last three appearances. However, as the alpha receiver facing Seattle, he's expected to see 8-10 targets due to receiver injuries. Vegas projects 4.5 receptions and 48.5 yards, which is better than Stefon Diggs and in the vicinity of Jaylen Waddle. Despite the bad matchup and low confidence, the source states 'he's still going to be a dub flex for me,' making him a must-flex play despite poor efficiency outlook.

Insight page

Mike Evans

PositiveInjury16:57

Mike Evans is likely to miss Week 9 against the Raiders despite coming off a bye week. He is dealing with an Achilles injury. John Lynch reported it is more likely than not that both Deebo Samuel and Mike Evans will miss the game, which affects target distribution for receivers.

Insight page

Nico Collins

PositiveUsage18:53

Nico Collins's target share has collapsed after a strong start to the season. The source states 'Nico Collins's target share is slowly decre... It's just fell off a cliff after the first couple weeks where he was a monster.' Since the Texans acquired Marvin Harrison, Collins is being used only as a pure X receiver with minimal downfield shots. Despite high passing volume expected due to David Montgomery's absence, the source expresses low confidence: 'I can't say I'm overly confident with him' and categorizes him as 'feels good' only because of his talent, not weekly consistency. However, in Week 9 rankings he is positioned higher than Rashi Rice and around George Pickens, described as a 'legit baller' performing at an elite level alongside Colston Loveland in the Texans passing game.

Insight page

Omar Cooper Jr.

NegativeValue9:16

Omar Cooper presents a high-variance play with unpredictable production; he went over 100 yards three weeks ago and two weeks ago, but then Adonai Mitchell dominated last week, creating uncertainty about who will be targeted week-to-week. The source ranks him below Adonai Mitchell coming off last week but expresses low confidence in that ranking, indicating the volatility makes him a risky play.

Insight page

Parker Washington

PositiveProjection0:40

Top 15 WR for Week 9 despite Jacksonville's low pass attempt volume and game script concerns. Washington has the ceiling to go for 30 points any given day; his target share and explosive play ability keep him in the must-start conversation even though Jacksonville is favored by 10 points in a 39-point total game, which limits volume and causes them to get up big and not play the fourth quarter.

Insight page

Puka Nacua

PositiveRole15:00

Puka Nakua is ranked as a must-start receiver in Week 9 against the Commanders. The source emphasizes that every play runs through him regardless of Matt Stafford's performance (who hasn't been playing his best ball and might be banged up), placing him in the 'mustard category' (must-start).

Insight page

Stefon Diggs

NegativeProjection26:58

Stefon Diggs is moving down in Week 9 rankings and faces a brutal matchup against the Vikings' elite pass defense. The Vikings rank dead last in EPA per pass allowed, dead last in success rate allowed, and bottom 4-5 in explosive plays and fantasy points allowed to WRs. Diggs needs a touchdown or deep reception to produce a big fantasy game in this matchup.

Insight page

Travis Etienne

NegativeProjection1:06

Shaky flex for Week 9 in Jacksonville's low-volume passing game against Baltimore. Can catch 6–7 passes in a game but not a primary target in the game script.

Insight page

Tre Tucker

NegativeRole16:57

Trey Tucker is the Raiders' primary receiver but presents significant boom/bust risk for Week 9 lineups. The source notes he has 'really, really boomer potential' when he hits deep passes but also has a 'gross' floor when targets go elsewhere to Brock Bowers or other receivers. He is not a viable lineup option for Week 9; the source explicitly states 'obviously no one is in your lineup' when discussing him as a pass catcher. Suitable only for lineups where he's not a critical piece (WR3 or flex), but risky as a WR2 due to weekly floor inconsistency.

Insight page

Xavier Worthy

NegativeValue8:30

Xavier Worthy is explicitly excluded from Week 9 start/sit consideration; the source states 'we're obviously not playing any of the other Chiefs like Xavier Worthy or anything like that,' indicating a fade recommendation.

Insight page

Zay Flowers

NegativeProjection1:17

Dub flex only for Week 9 due to QB injury (Joey Fanano replacing Lamar Jackson); ceiling severely limited after putting up zero points last week. However, still likely in lineups because the entire Ravens offense runs through him in the passing game; his big plays come from screens and short routes (Texas routes, screens over middle) that Fanano can execute, not just deep balls. Explosive after-catch ability remains a factor.

0:00Good morning friends and enemies. In today's video, we are going game by game, ranking every fantasy relevant wide receiver as a start, as a sit, as a
0:10flex. We do it every Thursday. So, if you're new here and you want to subscribe for more content like this, please do so. If you want the running
0:16back version of it, we did that yesterday and we'll link it down below.
0:20Thursday Night Football, we're going to kick it off there. We've got Jacksonville traveling to Baltimore tonight. Story of the game, of course,
0:25is that Lamar and Tyler Huntley are gone. So, we've got Joey Fanano starting at quarterback for uh the Ravens. Not great, but they did trade for Jacobe
0:33Brousette. That's not relevant to this video, so we'll talk about it next week, obviously, on the recap, etc. Uh Jacksonville 10-point favorites in this
0:40one in a 39 12 point total. This should be a slow game. This should be a lot of running, low pass attempt totals. Parker
0:48Washington, unfortunately, has kind of just been lost in the mix of low pass attempt games. They get up big, they don't play the fourth quarter, all that
0:55kind of stuff. Obviously Parker is going to be in your lineup. He's, you know, top of the feels good category. Still
1:00like a top 15 guy because he has the ceiling to go for like a 30 piece any given day. Behind him, I am not excited
1:06to start anybody else on the Jaguar side of things. Jacob's a shaky flex. Of course, he can always catch, you know,
1:12six or seven passes in a game. He's done that a few times, but this feels like a low volume passing game for both sides.
1:17Zay Flowers is a tough one, obviously.
1:19You know, the quarterback injury just kills his ceiling. We saw it last week.
1:23brother put up a donut and um I think we're going to need you Kobe Basset under center in order for him to really
1:28realize anything that's going on. I still think he's a dub flex only because this entire offense is going to run through him in the passing sense. Uh
1:35they'll probably, you know, dial up at least two or three screens for him. So, I'd imagine we'll get a little bit of
1:41the squeaky wheel effect and maybe Fano's a little bit better throwing the ball downfield than we're going to give credit for. Zay Flowers is the dude who,
1:47you know, we've seen even with Lamar, some of his big explosive plays this year were just like Texas routes out of
1:52the back field were just screens over the middle of the field. Like not throws that Faniano can't make. So, it's not
1:58always like Lamar's connecting to him deep on a 50 yard streak or anything like that. These are throws that I think
2:03a normal NFL quarterback can make and Z Flowers is the explosive part of the play. He's the one that's making the
2:08play and and picking up the yards after the catch. So that's obviously something that can happen on any given Sunday or
2:14Thursday for Z Flower. So he's still likely going to be in my lineup, but I get it if you have hesitation. Of
2:20course, Jacobe Lane, Rashad Bait, like you're not starting any of these guys. I would pick up Lane if you sit on your
2:24waiver wire for when Jacob Brassette does ultimately play QB for them starting next week. Next up, we've got the Madrid game. Cincinnati against
2:32Atlanta here. We've got a little bit of a yellow discourse in terms of the weather. H slight chance of rain as the
2:38game progresses, but nothing too crazy there. Nothing to be concerned about.
2:41There is a little bit of a a weather spook here as well for the Ravens Jaguars. Light rain, but very little
2:48wind, so nothing also overly concerning.
2:51But again, you know, rain fano. Uh probably a big Derrick Henry day.
2:56Cincinnati at Atlanta. So, we've got Michael Penn coming off of arguably the worst game of all time uh by a quarterback last week, but terrible,
3:05terrible, terrible weather. Uh expecting a bounce back here. It's a 52 and a half point total. The Falcons are three-point underdogs here. Drake London is still a
3:11must start to me. The sample size with him in PennX is just a monster monster target share. The other thing to take
3:16note of is that the uh Bengals very very very good outside cornerback DJ Turner got hurt last week and was at DNP on
3:25Wednesday. We'll have to you know kind of keep an eye on practice reports of course, but if he doesn't suit up that's
3:29a massive upgrade to a guy like Drake London there. He's a mustar for me. T Higgins obviously a must start. Jamar
3:34Chase a mustard and you are not starting anybody else in this game. Next up, we've got Denver at Carolina. The Carolina Panthers are two and a half
3:42point underdogs. They are at home. It's a 44 and a half point total. We have two teams whose offenses uh just do not
3:49click very well. Patan is going to see a lot of Tedo McMillan. Jaylen Coker has been very disappointing over the last
3:55couple weeks as the Bryce Young le Panthers uh passing offense has really come back down to earth. And Jaylen Wadd has just been incredibly inconsistent.
4:03Can always pop for a big play. You know, they're likely without Mike Jackson and JC Horn. uh again for this one. Eligible
4:09to return from IR soon, but I don't think that's happening this week. So, should be another good quarterback matchup for these guys. That being said,
4:15you know, Wadd has just been so so inconsistent and bad this year. I wouldn't play him over Z Flowers, but I
4:20would play him over Jacobe Myers. You know, he's in that like bottom of the dub flex, top of the shaky flex
4:25category. Courtland Sutton will go into the shaky flex category. Should also be noted that Pat Bryant is practicing in full and looks like he will be returning
4:32from his IR stint this week. you know, not a guy you want in your lineups, but just like Jacobe Lane, a guy that
4:38wouldn't hate you stashing before the game kicks off. Now, it's hard to feel great about Tet or Jaylen Coker right now. Vegas still has a lot of hope with
4:47McMillan. And I do think he provides a pretty high floor. Like even in his bad games the last few weeks, he's catching
4:52four or five passes, going for 50, 60, 70 yards, and has incredible ceiling in games where the matchup is a lot
4:57lighter. This obviously is not one of them uh against the Denver Broncos, but I still feel relatively good about T McMillan. Coker is starting to get into
5:03that category right now where you know I don't want to overemphasize just the recency buys of the last few games because we've seen him prior to that
5:09like the 12 13 games in a row where he was a very very highly productive receiver for the Carolina Panthers. So I
5:16would still put him into the dub flex category. Again I'm still starting him over guys like the Jacobe Myers or Courtland Sutton. Obviously you have a
5:21little bit less confidence in them just what the Panthers offense has kind of turned into. They're without a few of their tackles. They're without a lot of
5:27their defensive players. So, like it's it's kind of a messy situation for the Panthers, but I still think Coker's a really good player that can kind of
5:33explode for a big game on any given Sunday as well. Next up, we've got Dallas at the Indianapolis Colts. Uh Dallas 5 and a half point favorites, 51
5:4112 point total here in the dome. You got Cidi as a mustart. Pickings kind of squeaky wheel narrative going on. He
5:47still feels like a feels good inconsistent. Obviously, not the 1B to CD Lamb at this point in the season.
5:52Still a a very very good receiver that can explode. And this is a phenomenal matchup against the Colts who just let
5:58up uh an insane amount of points. Fenoy has played really well. He's playing nearly as many snaps as George Pickins, mainly because he's playing a lot of the
6:05blocking snaps. But I do think Fenoy, you know, he belongs in that shaky flex conversation, like you're not excited to start him, but in a game where there's a
6:1352 point total. He's running a lot of routes here. Um scoring some touchdowns this year attached to Dak Prescott. It's a great matchup. This is definitely the
6:21conversation he belongs in. There's not that many teams on buy this week. I believe it's like Tennessee and Pittsburgh. So, it's not a ton of
6:28firepower coming out of your lineups in the wide receiver position. So, you probably won't have to start Fenoy. But, I do think it's definitely worth
6:33monitoring that in good matchups, he could certainly have some good games. On the flip side, Josh DS is coming off of,
6:38you know, a touchdown. This is a great match up against Dallas secondary, but I have very little confidence in one what
6:44this offense can put up even against Dallas. Although Dallas has kind of been the cure all for almost every passing offense, it it's just really tough to
6:51know what the snap counts are going to be for these guys who are like supposedly on the trade block, Josh Downs, Jonathan Taylor, like do they
6:57lighten their load a little bit just to make sure they don't get injured, etc.
7:01Keenan Allen I'm actually very interested in. I wouldn't say he's like necessarily a dub flex, but he might be.
7:06He's got a very high floor. It seems like he is out targeting most of the players in this passing offense, and the
7:11matchup is great. So, I actually think I'm going to throw him into the dub flex category. I'm going to start him above
7:15Josh Downs. I'm going to start him above Jacobe Meyers. I think the conversation starts around Jaylen Cooker. He's got I I I wouldn't start him over these guys
7:22because these guys have actual ceilings on a week- toeek basis where Keenan Allen does not. But if you're looking for a floor play, Allen's caught at
7:28least five passes in five of the seven games this year and at least six passes in four of the seven. So more often than
7:33not, he's he's giving you a really really solid floor in PPR. And Downs's floor seems like it drops out of the uh
7:38out of the bottom there uh also more often than not. But you know, admittedly, obviously a great matchup for both receivers here. Moving on to
7:45the Jets at the Kansas City Chiefs in Arrowhead. 10-point favorites for the Chiefs. 47 and a half point total all around. Here's what I'll say for uh I
7:54mean the Chiefs are obviously uh feels good for Rashi Rice. Starting to run more routes. He's you know he's getting back from the hamstring strain. Was
8:00limited in the first game back, but saw a bunch of targets, scored a touchdown, like was a good player for you and we'll
8:05continue to see his snaps increase and be he's just so far and away the best receiver that they have in this core
8:10right now that you know he has to have a high floor. And then we're obviously not playing any of the other Chiefs like
8:14Xavier Worthy or anything like that. You know, Vegas still has his line at like a respectable 35, but no. Practice reports. Mansour Delane, their obviously
8:23stud rookie cornerback here, did miss last week's game, but got a limited practice in on Wednesday, which does mean we probably see the return of him
8:30in week nine, which means a tougher matchup for the Jets wide receivers.
8:35Now, this is a very, very tough receiver court just to figure out. Right now, we've moved into a world where Adani
8:40Mitchell's anytime touchdown line is actually better than Garrett Wilson's here. Wilson will likely be the leading target guy on a week- to-eek basis, but
8:49this is a tough matchup. The Chiefs have allowed the second fewest fantasy points to the wide receiver position on the year. And then we just have the absolute
8:56shitfest of AD Mitchell versus Omar Cooper. Three weeks ago, Omar Cooper goes for over 100. Two weeks ago, Omar Cooper goes for over a 100red in
9:05Adid Mitchell's first game returning.
9:07Then last week it felt like, okay, Omar Cooper of course is going to be the guy over AD Mitchell after going bananas the
9:14last two weeks and then AD Mitchell goes crazy last week and now it just becomes a mess of like how do we figure out who
9:20the [ __ ] we're playing in the in these matchups. You know, Garrett still without a doubt the one saw 12 targets
9:25last week. So it's not like he's not involved in the game plan. His his season has been a bit of a roller
9:30coaster as any, you know, receiver in the Jets offense is is going to be. And on a week toweek basis, you're still
9:36projecting Garrett Wilson to be the best receiver with the most consistency, the highest upside, all that kind of stuff.
9:41So, if I'm looking at Garrett, like he is somewhere between the feels good and dub flex category. I'm going to rank him
9:46as a feels good. And then the other two, it's impossible to figure out, man.
9:49They're both running a ton of routes. Uh it just so happened that AD Mitchell was the one that was targeted and Omar
9:53Cooper wasn't. But in the week prior to that, it was the other way around. So, I honestly think you're taking a huge
9:58gamble on both of these guys. Coming off of last week, I guess I'd rank AD Mitchell over Omar Cooper, but I don't
10:04feel confident that that's the way things are going to play out. So, yeah, I get it. If you want to take a a shot
10:08on AD Mitchell in your lineup this week, for sure, but the floor is obviously very, very low. So, we'll move to the
10:13next game, Detroit at Miami. We have a 50 and a half point total here. 7-point spread in favor of Detroit here. They
10:21are playing in Miami. No weather concerns. uh practice report. We have the Detroit Lions, DJ Reed DMP, Wanom DMP. Jack Campbell obviously is going to
10:29be out for this game. Uh Brian Branch did get him a a limited practice here after the concussion. So, we'll see if
10:35he ends up clearing for the concussion protocol coming up for this week, but pretty banged up on defense as is always
10:40the case for them. Amman Raw is going to be a must start. Uh Jameson Williams, you know, on paper it's Miami. We're not
10:46going to fade him. He's going to be in the feels good category. pretty low line per Vegas, but you know, this is one of
10:52those where he's just been really, really hot. Uh, could be a Sam Laaporta game, which means a lower floor for Jameson Williams. Like, I get it, but
10:59I'm going to start him over all these guys in the dub flex category. On the flip side of things, you got Malik
11:03Washington, you got Caleb Douglas, you got Chris Bell, Malik Willis is playing a little bit better. They had some tough matchups early on, but I think as the
11:09matchups have kind of lightened up, he's been able to throw the ball a little bit more efficiently. Uh, I would start
11:15Caleb Douglas over Malik Washington. And I know Malik Washington has a nice floor, but Caleb Douglas definitely he's been the highest ceiling. He's been the
11:22best receiver in my opinion in that receiver core right now. Not that I'm overly excited to play any of these guys. I would put him in the shaky flex
11:28category because you just never know what you're going to get on a given day from this passing offense. But I I do
11:33think that AD Mitchell conversation, Caleb Douglas, Jacobe Meyers is around the right tier of players that you're looking at when you're talking about
11:39Caleb Douglas because the matchup is so good against Detroit secondary. Malik's going to be in the shaky flex category as well. And then you don't want to
11:44start Chris Bell or Isaac Tesla. Moving to Cleveland at the New Orleans Saints.
11:49So, New Orleans coming off of their buy.
11:52You know, Jordan Tyson returned to practice. However, I believe I saw a report that said that he's probably uh a stretch to end up playing in this one.
11:59So, it does seem as if we're going to get a who's just going to be a mustart.
12:02You don't really think about that. Even though it is a tough match up against Denzel Ward, 42 and 1/2 point total
12:06here. They are playing in the dome, though. The Saints are three-point favorites. And then behind Ave, uh I I really don't hate Devon Vele again in
12:13this one as a secondary receiver, assuming Jordan Tyson doesn't play. So he's going to be in the shaky flex category, but he'll be near the top
12:19again in this conversation of AD, Caleb Douglas, Devon, Jacobe Meyers for the Browns. We are trending in a Shador Sanders start here with Deshun Watson in
12:29the concussion protocol. Really tough to know how these targets are going to pan out with Shador Sanders under center because last year, I mean, the only
12:36sample size we have is with like non NFL receivers, right? and Denzel Boston, Casey Conpion are such big upgrades to what they had at the receiver position
12:43last year and it kind of turned into the Harold Fannon show. So I do think, you know, you take on a little bit of added
12:49risk now kind of changing up the quarterback and changing up what they're going to be doing on offense, but it is
12:54a great match up against the Saints defense. Vegas has them at 44 and a half receiving yards for Boston, 41 a half
12:59for Casey Conpsion. So they are definitely closer to the top of that shaky flex tier than they are the dub flex tier. Boston's always primed to
13:06kind of pop off and have a big game.
13:07Casey Conpion and Harl Fannon kind of seem to be switching off on who gets those underneath targets and who racks up the volume here. So, I would start
13:14Boston over Casey Conpsion. Though, I'd be lying if I said I felt good about him in my flex spot right now. You know, I
13:19think he's in the conversation with the Douglas with the 80 Mitchell. I'd probably start him over those guys, but I'm not like overly excited to get him
13:26into my lineup. Casey Conpion will be in the same uh area as well. Next up, we've got the New York Giants at the
13:32Philadelphia Eagles. When we look at practice reports, um, we do have Cam Scatabo with the DMP, Damont Smith and Dantavian Wixs are both starting off the
13:40week with a DMP, which is obviously not good for those two and their signs of returning for this game. So, it seems
13:45like it's going to be another week of the Mai Lemons and the Darius Coopers and the Dallas GDS. So, Malik Neighbors
13:51playing out of his mind right now.
13:53Philadelphia's defense is not one to be feared anymore. Malik goes into the must-ar category. I don't really want to start anybody else in the Giants pass
13:59catcher group. For the Eagles, we do have the benching of Tanner McKe in favor of Joe Milton. That is, you know,
14:05Tanner McKe's not played well, but I do still think the structure of the offense is probably better for pass catchers when Tanner McKe is under center. Um I,
14:13you know, it's not smooth, but I do think like you have a clear divide between run plays, pass plays, where Joe
14:18Milton's a little bit more of a probably an inaccurate thrower, a little bit less consistency when they're passing the ball, and probably a higher likelihood
14:25that we are getting rushing attempts when there are supposed to be drop backs from the quarterback. He's not, you know, an outstanding rusher, but he's
14:32definitely 10 times more mobile than a guy like Tanner McKe is. So, I think it's a slight downgrade to all of the
14:36pass catchers in the Phil Philadelphia Eagles pass catching group. But, it is a good matchup. And I like Mai Lemon. I
14:41think he's been pretty good over the last few weeks. And he's kind of like coming into that wide receiver one role
14:47while Dantavian Wixs and Devonte Smith are out. So, put him in the shaky flex category. And there's nobody else in this game I want to start uh assuming
14:54those guys are out. Next up, we've got the LA Rams at the Washington Commanders. 1:00 in Washington. 48 and a2 point total. 4 and a half point
15:01favorites for the LA Rams. We've got Matt Stafford who hasn't really been playing his best ball. He might be a little bit banged up, might be a little
15:07bit injured. Does not matter for Puka Nakua. Every play runs through him and he's going into the mustard category. We don't want to start any other receiver
15:14for the Los Angeles Rams. This is going to be an extremely runheavy game plan I would assume for the Rams. On the flip
15:20side of things, Jaden Daniels under center of course and we have Stefon Diggs and Antonio Williams. Two interesting players. Uh even Trayon
15:27Burks is getting involved. He did start the week off, I believe, with a DNP here. Banged up his foot a little bit,
15:32but he hurt that last week and then ended up playing through it. So, we'll see if uh this is just kind of rest to
15:38to get him right for this upcoming game because I do think that would matter for the target shares of the other two
15:43players. Jaylen Watson with a DMP. He is out for the Los Angeles Rams. We have Cam Curl DMP with a foot injury. Trent
15:49McDuffy who did return last week for the first time in a couple weeks and then kind of tweaked something in his back
15:53and is now a DMP here. So, that would be some major some more major downgrades for the Rams defense, which is already
16:00down a bunch of players, which would open things up for the uh for the Washington Commanders passing game. I like what we've seen from Antonio
16:06Williams so far. I think there's a case to be made that I feel almost more optimistic, maybe not more optimistic, but like Williams and Diggs, I I don't
16:13feel confident in projecting that Diggs is like so much more of a wide receiver one over Antonio Williams. At this point, it's going to be a tough matchup.
16:19I think both players, Diggs and Antonio Williams are flexorthy plays. I am overall just concerned about the play volume here with how runheavy and you
16:29know the likely time of possession in favor of the Rams here between Blake Horm and Karen Williams. So I I think I
16:35would probably put I if if Trent McDuffy misses and Cam Krell misses, I would put Stefon Digs probably in the dub flex
16:41category. I would put Antonio Williams in the shaky flex, but definitely near the top of it and would be okay with
16:46either of those guys in your lineup, especially if Trayon Burks misses. I'm not going to start Trayon Burks cuz don't want to depend on like downfield
16:52shots, but y'all get the point. All right, next up we got the Raiders at San Francisco. Now, we did just have a
16:57report. Uh John Lynch just came out and said that it is more likely than not both Debo and Mike Evans are going to
17:04miss this game despite them coming off of their buy. Mike Evans dealing with the Achilles. Debo Samuel with the hamstring. Uh a lot of people expected
17:10them to come back after the buy and almost be at full strength here. Now, if we look at the practice report, we do
17:15have a DMP for Christian McCaffrey as well. He was not mentioned in that. So, we'll have to keep an eye on Christian
17:20McCaffrey status as well because if he's out, then the target's really condensed to just like George KD, the Christian Kirks, the Demarcus Robinsons of the
17:27world. But, uh, on the flip side, you've got the Raiders who have Trey Tucker who's their one, but you know, as we saw
17:33last week, he has really, really boomer potential where of course he hits a couple deep passes and he's got you a
17:38ceiling game. He doesn't get the targets and they all go to Brock or Genty, whatever. Then he has a floor game. So,
17:43he's a shaky flex. you know, he he's a guy that I think you could probably just keep in your lineup week in week out.
17:47Take the good with the bad. If you had the luxury of, you know, three wide receivers and a flex or two flexes in
17:53there and he's not like a big important part of your lineup. If he's your wide receiver two or three, you're probably
17:57in trouble just cuz the floor on a weekly basis is kind of gross. That being said, Kirk Cousins playing great ball. They are 10-point underdogs here
18:05and it's a 52 and a half point total. 52 and 1/2 point total despite the ners having, you know, all of these injuries
18:11on offense to their top skill players.
18:13just kind of tells you what what level Kyle Shanahan is operating at. So, behind uh Trey Tucker, obviously no one is in your lineup, assuming Mike Evans
18:21is out, assuming Debo Samuels out, you know, you obviously cannot trust the Demarcus Robinsons of the world, the Christian Kirks of the world. Like, you
18:27want to get cute and throw them into your lineups and hopefully they score a touchdown or or grab a big play. Go for
18:33it. Won't be me, won't be me telling you to do that. Next up, we've got Houston at the LA Chargers. This is in LA. This
18:40is in the dome. It's a 40 and a half point total. The Texans are four and a half point favorites. They are coming
18:46off of their buy and as a Nico Collins owner, I'm I'm pretty nervous here. Uh I think the Chargers defense is pretty
18:53underrated to be honest. They're getting better as the season is progressing despite their offense being terrible.
18:57Nico Collins's target share is slowly decre not even slowly decreasing. It's just fell off a cliff after the first couple weeks where he was a monster. The
19:05Jaylen Nowell injury, we'll see if that moves the needle at all for Nico Collins. Unfortunately, since they got Marvin Harrison, they're not using Nico
19:13Collins at all. Like inside, he is just the pure ex receiver and they're not taking a ton of shots downfield to him.
19:19So, I can't say I'm overly confident with him. So, he's going to go into the feels good category towards the top of
19:23it cuz he's Nico and he's a beast and like he'll have his games obviously going forward, but you'd be lying if you
19:30said that you're like really confident about what he's going to do on a week- toeek basis at this point. Just the the
19:35way that CJ Stroud is spreading the offense around. But I will say David Montgomery is going to miss this game again. So it probably will be a heavy
19:42dose of CJ Stra dropback. So we could probably project for a pretty high volume in terms of like the passing offense for the Texans, which makes you
19:50a little bit more confident in a guy like Nico Collins. You're never going to sit him, but just wanted to say that
19:54piece. On the other side of things, I mean, I don't know how you can have any confidence in any of these pass
19:57catchers. Lad Manki would be the one guy that I would put into my lineup if I'm putting any of them into it. He
20:02obviously had like a relativelyish big game stats-wise last week. Uh he had like 85 receiving yards, but 50 of those came on a second half or a end of the
20:12first half Hail Mary that was bouncing off of Quint Johnson's hands that ended up in Lad Manki's lap there. So realistically, he was like three for 30
20:21on the day. And that's just kind of the ceiling that this Justin Herbert offense is unfortunately providing for pass catchers here. So lad, really talented
20:29player, just like the worst offensive system happening right now. And the Houston Texans are not a low layover defense by any means. obviously allowing
20:37a lot of points here. Third most fantasy points allowed to receivers, 13th in EPA per pass allowed, but still 31st, second
20:43to last in success rate allowed per pass, which is more of that like consistency on a down-to-own basis.
20:48They're letting up a lot of explosives.
20:50So, we might see Herbert, you know, take the top off a little bit to a guy like Quinton Johnson, but definitely not
20:54trying to project or depend on that. So, I think the other guys are all like ancillary like very desperate flex plays. the Johnston's, the Trey
21:02Harrises, the Maravves, the Xavier Hutchies, the Kam Boutes of the world.
21:08Moving to Arizona at Seattle, here we will have Drew Lock under center for the Seattle Seahawks instead of Sam Darnold with the quad injury. He is labeled week
21:16to week. We'll see if he can get back next week, but they did rule him out pretty early in this one. So, wouldn't
21:20say I'm overly optimistic. That being said, we did see Drew Lock under center against the Arizona Cardinals earlier on in this year when Sam Darnold missed
21:27time and both he and JSN ate in that game. Obviously a really really good matchup on paper. Total's 39 and a half.
21:34Eight and a half point spread towards the Seattle Seahawks. Probably won't be that exciting of uh of a game here in
21:40Seattle, but JSN of course is a mustart.
21:42Rasheed Jahed did start the week off with a DNP I believe. Yes. So not trending in the right direction for him
21:48to make a return, but we'll see if he gets a limited practice in. I kind of hope he does return because I think
21:51again that opens things up for the other parts of the offense, but not trending in that direction as of right now.
21:56Michael Wilson on the flip side coming off of a huge huge day. But that was the Dallas Cowboys defense and everybody
22:03does that. Now the other part of this offensive equation is Jacobe Brassette now in Baltimore. So with him in Baltimore, we have Gardenner Mincchu
22:10starting right now. Uh again, Dallas Cowboys last week he looked good. You know, had good statistics. I have very very very very
22:20shaky confidence that he'll be able to like sustain drives against this Seattle defense in Seattle here. Michael Wilson has also struggled mightily versus
22:28Seattle in his last three appearances verse them though obviously it was a different receiver core. It was uh other players involved. The target share at
22:35this point they've they've lost like all of their receivers. So, you know, it'll probably be low efficiency, a high target day. I would be surprised if
22:42Michael Wilson doesn't see at least like eight or 10 targets. And you never know.
22:45One of them could just be a beautifully placed ball. One of them could be a red zone shot that he makes a great play on
22:50it. It's just a very small sample size to be like there's no way he could have a good game. So, as the alphaish in this
22:56offense at the wide receiver position, he's still going to be a dub flex for me. I don't feel great about starting
23:00him obviously, but the Vegas Lions still have him at four and a half receptions, 48 and a half yards, which is better
23:05than Stefon Diggs. It's in the vicinity of like the Jaylen Waddles of the world.
23:08So, bad matchup, good player, not a high level of confidence, but I think he's probably going to have to be in your
23:15lineup if you have him on the team.
23:16Other than that, we're obviously not starting guys like Cooper Cup or Z Jones, etc. Next up, we've got Green Bay at the New England Patriots. They are in
23:24Foxboro. 45 12 point total here. Let's check practice reports quickly. Uh does not seem like anything out of the ordinary outside of AJ Brown. Still
23:34trending in the wrong direction for this one with the knee injury that he's dealing with. Doesn't feel great.
23:40Trayvon Henderson still a DMP with the illness. Uh Hunter Henry left last week's game with a foot injury and was a
23:45DMP on Wednesday, so could be Eli Raridan season. Uh regardless, Watson Golden have earned the mustart treatment every game, week in and week out. Watson
23:55is still dealing with a rib injury, but he got a limited practice in on Wednesday, so he should definitely be suiting up. Maybe not at 100%, but
24:02somewhere between like 85 95%. Good enough for me. For the Patriots, assuming we do not have AJ Brown, assuming we do not have Hunter Henry, it
24:10definitely opens up the receiver core a bit. Uh, one name to note, Matt Collins is designated to return from IR and it
24:16looks like he will be active for this one after missing the last month or so of the season with a calf injury. Matt
24:21Collins has been kind of good when he is like forced into a big role and with Romeo Dobs still on IR with AJ Brown
24:28likely out with Hunter Henry out like Drake May kind of just spreads the ball around. So, good luck trying to figure
24:34out if it's Eli Raridan's game, if it's Kyle Williams' game, if it's Pop Douglas's game. I think I would probably start Douglas over everybody. Matt
24:42Collins first game back, you know, that's a little bit too risky for me. It wouldn't surprise me if he ended up
24:47having the best game, but I can't see a world where you're actually putting him into your lineup. I would say, you know,
24:52Matt Collins maybe not the worst pickup as a stash in case like we just get a notification like, you know what, AJ
24:57Brown expected to miss multiple weeks to week or like they just randomly put him on IR or something like that. But him,
25:02Chisom, whatever. Eli Raridan's probably the guy that I think I'm kind of interested in, like maybe startable this week if Hunter Henry also misses. So,
25:09Sunday Night Football, we've got Tampa Bay at the Chicago Bears. The Bears are six-point favorites at home here, riding very hot. They look incredible right
25:20now. 47 12 point total. Luther Burden looks [ __ ] phenomenal. Would love to have him in my lineup. His numbers
25:27shooting up. Vegas is giving him respect. 65 1/2 receiving yards, 5 and a half receptions. That is higher than Parker Washington. It's right in that
25:34Nico Collins range. It's higher than Rashi Rice. It's right around George Pickkins. Like, he is a legit [ __ ] baller. Him and Coulson Lovelin are
25:42playing amazing. Roma Dunce has looked a lot better. I will say, just, you know, of note, Tampa Bay's defense is really,
25:48really good. I've been telling you guys this for like a month and a half now, and it's starting to catch up, and
25:51people are realizing it. They are awesome against both the pass and the rush. So, it won't be as easy of a
25:57matchup, but we did just see Chicago sort of dice up Seattle here. So, um not overly concerned about the matchups here. So, yeah, Luther feels good. I
26:05will say I still am looking at Rome as a shaky flex. Like, I I haven't really shaken off the early season rust for
26:12Roma Dunay. I don't know that I'm ready to put him into the dub flex category. I think he's right on the borderline. I'm
26:16going to put him into the shaky flex.
26:18Definitely near the top of it. And now I'm looking at it, I think Stefon Dig is going to move down here as well. But,
26:22he's in the conversation with the Denzel Boston. you know, he needs to probably score a touchdown to really have a big
26:27game for you or catch a very deep pass for you. On the flip side, Baker hasn't thrown the ball in about 6 weeks because
26:34he was injured and then he's just not throwing the ball in games either. Uh Amechabuka is really the only guy you're
26:40looking at and unfortunately after missing last week's game, he obviously cleared the concussion protocol, but he's still dealing with this foot injury
26:46and he was DMP on Wednesday. So, he's had a lot of time to rest and doesn't seem like he's ready to go yet. you
26:53know, if he gets a limited practice in on Thursday, Friday, then he could be trending in the right direction. Uh, the
26:59Chicago defense obviously looks a lot better with Jeffrey Simmons. So, not a rollover by any means. Their secondary is obviously not great, but adding a
27:05dude like Jeffrey Simmons that can get to the quarterback is going to be pretty disruptive to any passing game here. So,
27:10Ibuka, if he clears and he's good to play, I'm going to put him into the dub flex category. If he doesn't, really, I
27:16don't want to start many of these guys.
27:17I think you could probably say that Chris Godwin's a shaky flex, but we are not looking to get players in our lineup
27:22outside of Ibuka, assuming he does or doesn't play. Monday Night Football, we've got Buffalo at Minnesota. This is going to be a really intriguing game
27:30here. So, they're in Minnesota. They're in the dome, which you love cuz you get these teams, you know, no no excuses,
27:36just a pure environment. 45 and a half point total. The Vikings are three and a half point underdogs here. It looks like
27:42Carson Wentz is going to be the starting quarterback for the Minnesota Vikings.
27:47Kyler Murray is dealing with a hamstring strain that came out. I think Adam Sheper said uh or one of the insiders
27:52reported that looks more likely than not that it's trending in the direction of Carson Wentz, which makes me feel a lot
27:58better about Justin Jefferson to be honest with you. Does it make me feel like he's going to be elite again? I
28:02don't know. But last year in games with Wentz, Justin Jefferson was averaging, you know, 95 plus receiving yards per game. the touchdowns weren't coming, but
28:10I still feel great about him if uh WZ is under center. This is definitely a matchup where they're going to have to
28:14score points in order to keep up with the Bills high-powered offense and the Bills secondary is pretty pretty pretty bad. Jordan obviously has not earned
28:21getting out of the shaky flex category.
28:23On the Bills side of things, obviously this is a brutal matchup for any passing offense. Uh you see red across the board
28:30the Vikings dead last in terms of EPA per pass allowed, dead last in terms of success rate allowed. Bottom four, five
28:35in explosive plays and fantasy points allowed to the receiver position. We saw Detroit struggle against them. They were only able to put up, you know, 19-ish
28:42points and most of that was just Jir Gibbs's doing. Though they were about an inch away from a huge amra St. Brown
28:47play/touchdown, whatever. Uh DJ Moore returned last week and looked really, really good. Opened up the offense for them. He did get
28:54banged up, so I am keeping a very close eye on the practice reports. We don't have any of those yet obviously because
28:58they play on Monday. We'll get the first practice report in a few hours from Buffalo. He kind of hyperextended his knee, but he came out and said he was
29:06good after the game. Took a couple big shots on his shoulder as well. So, he's got to be feeling pretty sore right now.
29:11They do have the extra day of rest. I think DJ Moore probably plays through it, but again, one to keep an eye on.
29:16I'm going to put him into the dub flex category. He's probably better than most of the guys in here and likely to have a
29:21better fantasy day, but anytime you're playing against the Vikings, it's going to be tough sledding here. I'd imagine they go very very like tight end heavy.
29:29They put multiple tight ends on the line. Probably a lot of like Tai Johnson out of the backfield type of thing. So,
29:34uh, tough to predict what you're going to do against the Vikings. And Shakir will be a shaky flex. And nobody else in
29:39this passing game that I want to even consider here. So, that will wrap up the wide receiver rankings video for week
29:46nine. All of the rankings are live right now on bdge.co if you just want to cut right to the chase. Go quick poster mode
29:52for you hoes so you could see everything. Here we've got 12 must starts. We've got eight feels good. So, a top 20 there of players we feel pretty
30:01good about having in our lineup. We've got seven dub flexes, a whole shitload of 22 shaky flexes, and 14 rather knots.
30:09If you're a fantasy member, again, you can see all this. You can see all this data. You can see uh we're actually
30:13adding projections to the front end of our rankings over the next couple weeks.
30:17This is only I could see this, but you will have projections for uh PPR, half PPR, floor and ceiling of all of the
30:24players as well. So, that's a cool little uh added bonus for you guys in season. Hopefully helping you decide to make your sit starts. But yes, uh that
