Aaron Jones

NegativeInjury0:25

Left early in Week 7 with a knee injury. Status and severity unclear at time of podcast recording.

Insight page
NegativeInjury5:36

Re-aggravated MCL sprain earlier in the season; Kanate Mumfield notes MCL sprains typically have good recovery rates and usually result in one to three week absence, with grade one sprains typically causing one to two week absence. Rare cases require no missed time at all. Expected to be evaluated by Vikings staff to determine absence length.

Insight page

Bucky Irving

PositiveValue21:57

Bucky Irving is valued lower than Chase Brown but offers a higher ceiling in the right game script and matchup; as a young explosive rookie, he immediately impacts the field in ways that veteran backup Evan McPherson does not, making him a more attractive trade target than Brown.

Insight page
PositiveProjection47:00

Kanate Mumfield is bullish on Bucky Irving's rest-of-season outlook, citing his ceiling upside as a key reason to retain him in a three-back RB room with Mondre Stevenson and Tony Pollard. Irving's matchup-dependent upside is viewed as too valuable to trade away, making him the priority hold among the three backs.

Insight page

Chase Brown

NegativeProjection21:30

Chase Brown has only recorded two games this season with double-digit fantasy points; Samadji Piran received the goal line touchdown in Week 7, which may have otherwise gone to Brown, raising concerns about his red zone role and consistency despite the Bengals' offensive resurgence.

Insight page
PositiveBust21:57

Despite retaining trade value, Chase Brown's role and efficiency are deteriorating; Evan McPherson is taking goal-line work and snaps, and Brown's inefficiency combined with Burrow's aggressive passing attack limits touchdown upside. Kanate Mumfield expresses worry about continued decline and cautions against buy-low trades, noting that unlike younger threats like Bucky Irving, Brown's struggles persist regardless of matchup or game script.

Insight page
NegativeRole23:03

Chase Brown has been inefficient and losing snaps to Evan McPherson heading into the bye week; while McPherson is a 31-year-old veteran (not an explosive young threat), the snap-count trend is concerning and suggests Brown's role compression may continue even after the bye.

Insight page
NegativeRole24:36

Chase Brown's snap/touch split was affected by either pre-bye workload management or injury; Kanate Mumfield suggests reaching out to the manager to gauge interest in acquiring him, with the caveat that the decision depends on individual league context and risk tolerance.

Insight page
NegativeBust37:52

Kanate Mumfield rates Chase Brown at a 7 on the panic meter (scale of 1-10, where 10 is full panic mode). While not at the point of wanting to sell immediately, there is significant concern about his performance trajectory, though Mumfield remains willing to buy at current market value.

Insight page

Christian Watson

PositiveValue41:30

Kanate Mumfield suggests Christian Watson as a potential one-for-one wide receiver trade target for Justin Jefferson, indicating Watson represents reasonable value in a positional swap.

Insight page

Chuba Hubbard

PositiveProjection42:39

Kanate Mumfield ranks Chuba Hubbard higher in rest-of-season rankings than Justin Jefferson, despite Jefferson's elite name value. The Panthers offense has been fantastic this year, and while Hubbard's sustained production may surprise skeptics given his long NFL tenure, Mumfield believes the upside is real. A potential trade structure could be Jefferson for Hubbard plus a complementary piece, allowing the Jefferson owner to upgrade in rankings while the Hubbard owner leverages name value.

Insight page

Cole Kmet

NegativeInjury0:29

Out for the year with a knee injury. Significant loss for the Bears offense.

Insight page
NegativeInjury9:54

Kmet is ruled out for the season with a likely ACL injury; he landed awkwardly on an extended leg, buckled, and took a collision that typically indicates an ACL mechanism, though the Bears did not release which ligament was injured.

Insight page

Colston Loveland

PositiveRole10:18

Loveland is back in the trust tree after two good games in a row; Cole Kmet's season-ending injury (likely ACL) means more targets will flow to Loveland, and while there are multiple pass catchers on the Bears, Loveland is now in the circle of trust.

Insight page

Darnell Mooney

PositiveRole26:15

Darnell Mooney is not part of the Giants' tight target funnel; Kanate Mumfield explicitly states the offense is 'not spreading it around to guys like Darnell Mooney,' indicating limited opportunity despite the offensive improvement.

Insight page

Davante Adams

NegativeInjury7:32

Devante Adams suffered a grade 3 hamstring injury attached at the knee, a less common hamstring injury with variable return timeline. The team gave a broad 6-10 week return window; no surgical reattachment needed, just cleaning up frayed edges and waiting for scar tissue to heal. Expected to return near full strength by end of regular season, but likely not worth keeping on roster for fantasy purposes if targeting other players.

Insight page

Davis Allen

PositiveRole0:38

Emerged as the primary tight end option for the Rams in Week 7 following Devontae Adams' hamstring injury. With Terrence Ferguson not expected back until Week 12 at earliest (due to Rams' Week 11 bye), Davis Allen is the active tight end to target for the next couple of weeks.

Insight page

Demond Claiborne

NegativeRole7:05

49ers rookie running back lacks trust from coaching staff; Kanate Mumfield notes the team doesn't seem to trust him yet, positioning Jordan Mason as the clear workhorse despite Claiborne being available on the roster.

Insight page

Denzel Boston

PositiveBreakout27:58

Boston had a quiet game but drew 8 targets; Kanate Mumfield views this as a positive sign for a talented early-round rookie in the back half of the season, noting that rookies typically improve as the year progresses and become more reliable for fantasy. However, he cautions that Boston will have games where the team plays well but he produces little from a fantasy perspective due to target funnel competition with Jerry Judy and Dylan Sampson.

Insight page

Deshaun Watson

NegativeRole28:37

Deshaun Watson's inconsistency is a key concern for Browns receivers; Kanate Mumfield notes that while Watson had volume in a recent game, it wasn't a good performance, and the volatility in his volume distribution makes it difficult to rely on Browns pass catchers despite their talent.

Insight page

DeVonta Smith

NegativeInjury0:33

Out for Monday Night Football. Eagles offense will be without him alongside Saquon Barkley's questionable status and Jalen Hurts' absence.

Insight page
NegativeInjury11:00

Smith is out for weeks with an injury; Kanate Mumfield expressed real concern that he could go on IR, making him a risky hold compared to alternatives like Luther Burks.

Insight page

Dylan Sampson

NegativeUsage29:32

Dylan Sampson can get loose in the receiving game and is part of the Browns target funnel alongside Jerry Judy and Denzel Boston; Kanate Mumfield notes this creates a sneakily decent amount of targets for an offense that isn't necessarily trusted, contributing to inconsistency.

Insight page

Harold Fannin

NegativeBreakout1:27

Fannin Jr. finally had a breakthrough game with 8 receptions and 129 yards after inconsistency all season; Kanate Mumfield notes everyone had benched him but emphasizes you can't completely move on from him as a starter given his talent, though volatility from Deshaun Watson's volume remains a concern.

Insight page

Isaiah Likely

NegativeRole27:00

Isaiah Likely's down game against the Bengals may be a one-off; Kanate Mumfield states 'I need to see one more' down game before concluding it's a concerning trend, indicating cautious optimism pending further evidence.

Insight page
NegativeRole27:32

Kanate Mumfield needs to see one more down game with JJ McCarthy to confirm concern; this was a bad switch with McCarthy hyper-focused on neighbors, so one game is insufficient to draw conclusions about Likely's role.

Insight page

J.J. McCarthy

NegativeProjection25:30

JJ McCarthy is not trustworthy in fantasy lineups despite 252 yards against the Texans; Kanate Mumfield explicitly states 'Not in a way that I would trust him in any way, shape or form in a lineup,' citing unreliable rushing upside compared to elite dual-threat QBs like Josh Allen or Lamar Jackson.

Insight page

Ja'Marr Chase

PositiveUsage21:50

Jamar Chase posted five receptions, 62 yards, and a touchdown in the second half of a high-scoring Bengals game, maintaining elite target share in the offense.

Insight page
PositiveUsage22:20

Jamar Chase recorded five receptions for 62 yards and a touchdown in Week 7 as the Bengals' offense exploded in the second half, contributing to Joe Burrow's four-touchdown performance.

Insight page
PositiveProjection24:47

Jamar Chase is now confidently startable after the Bengals' dominant second-half performance against Baltimore; Kanate Mumfield emphasizes that the Bengals 'did literally everything in the second half,' supporting high-flying offensive expectations moving forward.

Insight page

Jaylen Warren

NegativeInjury8:48

Warren suffered a hamstring strain (minimum grade one) that typically results in a one to three week absence; he is at risk for missing the week after the bye, though optimistically if it is just tightness without an acute strain, he could return after the bye.

Insight page
PositiveRole38:10

Despite Rico Bostic's return and increased playing time in Week 7's international game, Jalen Warren remains a strong performer. Kanate Mumfield rates panic at a 1, emphasizing Warren's quality as a player and the Steelers' balanced offensive approach. The team is well-constructed with lower scoring than expected, but Warren's talent is undeniable and the committee approach does not diminish his value.

Insight page

Jerry Jeudy

NegativeUsage29:32

Jerry Judy is part of the Browns receiving target funnel alongside Dylan Sampson and Denzel Boston; Kanate Mumfield notes Judy can pop off randomly, contributing to a sneakily decent amount of targets for an offense that isn't necessarily trusted, creating inconsistency for all three receivers.

Insight page

Joe Burrow

PositiveProjection22:02

Joe Burrow threw for nearly 300 yards and four touchdowns in a dominant second-half performance, demonstrating the high-volume passing attack that limits running back touchdown upside in the Bengals offense.

Insight page
PositiveProjection22:20

Joe Burrow threw for nearly 300 yards and four touchdowns in Week 7, signaling a potential resurgence for the Bengals as a second-half team with renewed offensive firepower.

Insight page
PositiveProjection24:47

Joe Burrow is now confidently startable after the Bengals' dominant second-half performance against Baltimore; Kanate Mumfield emphasizes that the Bengals 'did literally everything in the second half,' supporting high-flying offensive expectations moving forward.

Insight page

Jordan Mason

PositiveRole7:05

With Aaron Jones sidelined, Jordan Mason is positioned to receive heavy volume; Kanate Mumfield emphasizes 'it's just going to be the Jordan Mason show' because the 49ers don't trust rookie DeMond Claiborne yet. Mason showed ample evidence of workhorse usage when Aaron Jones was previously out. Matchup against Detroit next week is noted as potentially tricky but volume is expected to remain consistent.

Insight page

Justin Jefferson

NegativeValue41:30

In a trade discussion, Kanate Mumfield suggests Justin Jefferson could be moved for positional upgrades despite his elite name value and quarterback concerns. Potential targets include Christian Watson or Parker Washington at WR, or running backs like Bucky Irving (for ceiling upside) or Ashton Gentry (for safe floor with pass-catching consistency). The suggestion is that Jefferson's value may be better deployed to address roster weaknesses, particularly at running back.

Insight page

Juwan Johnson

NegativeBust43:58

Juwan Johnson has posted two consecutive goose eggs (0 points) and scored only 1.2 fantasy points in Week 7 (1 reception, 7 yards) and 3.6 half-PPR points the week prior (4 receptions, 16 yards). Kanate Mumfield advises dropping him if better options are available on waivers, noting that the situation is messy with Tyson Dupree potentially returning after Week 8 and increased Bryce Lance involvement, making Johnson unreliable for starting lineups.

Insight page

Kenneth Walker III

PositiveMatchup49:12

Kenneth Walker is expected to have a revenge game opportunity in the upcoming matchup, with Kanate Mumfield expressing hope that he will perform well. This suggests positive matchup dynamics and potential for a strong performance.

Insight page

Malachi Fields

NegativeRole25:57

Malachi Fields may benefit from JJ McCarthy's presence at quarterback, potentially gaining some upside moving forward; however, the Giants' target funnel remains very narrow and concentrated on Malik Nabers, limiting Fields' ceiling.

Insight page

Malik Nabers

PositiveProjection25:45

Malik Nabers is a strong buy regardless of quarterback; Kanate Mumfield emphasizes that 'I don't really care who's a quarterback with Malik Nabers. It's perfectly fine,' citing consistent high-volume target funnel and elite production (7 receptions, 111 yards vs. Texans) that transcends QB quality.

Insight page

Nico Collins

PositiveValue38:57

Nico Collins posted two consecutive down weeks with limited production, but Kanate Mumfield rates panic at a 2-3, viewing him as the Texans' alpha receiver and a strong buy candidate heading into his bye week. The recent poor performance and upcoming bye create a window for acquiring him at a discount via trade, as concerned owners may be willing to move him after witnessing two consecutive underperformances.

Insight page

Parker Washington

PositiveValue41:30

Kanate Mumfield suggests Parker Washington as a potential one-for-one wide receiver trade target for Justin Jefferson, indicating Washington represents reasonable value in a positional swap.

Insight page

Puka Nacua

PositiveRole0:56

With Devontae Adams out 6-10 weeks, Puka Nacua becomes the clear primary receiver for the Rams. Despite receiving a questionable tag late in the week, he was cleared for Week 7 play. The receiver situation is now 'Puka or bust' in terms of Rams passing game value.

Insight page
PositiveInjury6:47

Puka Nacua has a pre-hernia and calf injury, both concerning, but game logs show he remains healthy and performing incredibly well. Kanate Mumfield recommends holding rather than trading, advising against hedging against injury unless receiving the most significant haul ever; the stance is to stand pat where you are.

Insight page

Saquon Barkley

NegativeInjury0:33

Listed as questionable heading into Monday Night Football. Status to be determined.

Insight page
PositiveInjury11:00

Barkley had three limited practices this week and is projected to play Monday night despite hamstring concerns; he has not missed significant time recently in his career, has had adequate rest time, and the Eagles lack other playmakers so they likely have to put him out there.

Insight page
NegativeInjury48:48

Kanate Mumfield reports that Saquon Barkley is expected to play in the upcoming game, though recent injury reports have been untrustworthy so this is not a stone-cold guarantee. When Barkley is active, his production should be fine despite re-injury risk. The sprained ankle is the injury type that creates production uncertainty on return, but Barkley's current status suggests he will be available.

Insight page

Tee Higgins

PositiveUsage21:35

Tee Higgins dominated in the second half with six receptions, 148 yards, and a touchdown, showcasing elite target volume and production in a high-scoring Bengals offense.

Insight page
PositiveUsage22:15

Tee Higgins posted six receptions for 148 yards and a touchdown in the second half of Week 7, demonstrating significant target volume and efficiency as the Bengals' offense surged.

Insight page
PositiveProjection24:47

Tee Higgins is now confidently startable after the Bengals' dominant second-half performance against Baltimore; Kanate Mumfield emphasizes that the Bengals 'did literally everything in the second half,' supporting high-flying offensive expectations moving forward.

Insight page

Terrance Ferguson

NegativeInjury0:38

Can technically be activated from IR next week but Rams have indicated he is not ready. With Rams' Week 11 bye, he is unlikely to return until Week 12 at the earliest. Not a viable option for the next couple of weeks.

Insight page

Tony Pollard

PositiveValue47:38

Tony Pollard had an absurd Week 7 performance with 3 touchdowns and 35 fantasy points. Kanate Mumfield recommends selling high on Pollard, acknowledging that this level of production is unlikely to repeat this season, though Pollard did have random explosive games at the end of last year when others had given up on him. The recommendation is to capitalize on the breakout game to trade him away.

Insight page

Tyler Higbee

NegativeProjection5:40

Tyler Higbee was set up for a great start but underperformed significantly, scoring barely over one fantasy point despite favorable circumstances with a big-name receiver out.

Insight page

Tyrone Tracy

NegativeInjury0:27

Left early in Week 7 with a hamstring injury. Status and severity unclear at time of podcast recording.

Insight page
NegativeInjury8:07

Suffered a grade one hamstring strain and left the game without returning; Kanate Mumfield projects one to three week absence for grade one hamstring strains. With Giants having a bye next week, Tracy is expected to be at risk for missing the week after the bye.

Insight page

Zay Flowers

PositiveBreakout25:12

Zay Flowers finally delivered a massive game with Tyler Huntley at quarterback; Kanate Mumfield describes him as 'an absolute animal' and 'insane,' indicating strong confidence in his talent and future production despite the backup QB situation.

0:00This is an iHeart Podcast. Guaranteed Human. All right, welcome everybody to the Fantasy Pros Podcast.
0:04I am your host Matt Modai, joined by Ter Roberts and hopefully Niffen Natwa will join us as well.
0:10His first time doing this, so just a little bit of technical difficulties.
0:13He's our injury expert, but we might have to put our doctor hat on for the, put our scrubs on for the
0:19evening and pretend to play doctor if we don't get him the situation figured out.
0:24So, um, recap in Week 7, NFL Sunday. Um, before we get into the injuries and stuff, did you have a good week?
0:30Fantasy went well? I don't know what fanhood team you are, but...
0:33I'm Packers fan, so I'm currently not happy about what just went down.
0:37Okay, I did check to see how that game ended.
0:40I guess it didn't end well. Last minute field goal, Detroit.
0:43I mean, drives extended by penalties just... Ugh. Well, yeah, I saw, I saw the, um, the, the, Dan, uh, Dan Campbell went for it on fourth down.
0:50I'd like the 24-yard line got, got stuffed. And then I didn't see what happened after that because just because I was prepping for this.
0:57Yeah, it was, yeah, I don't know. Miss Gilgal?
1:00It was a mess. Um, everything was just quite a mess.
1:03Yeah. Yeah, that happens. Anyways, um, we can just kind of go through the big injuries and hopefully we can get, uh,
1:09we can get the doc in here. But, um, for the graphic, we have Devontae Adams.
1:13So this one happened at the very end of the 4 p.m.
1:17games last week. Um, and we didn't know what the situation was when we were streaming.
1:21Obviously, we now have clarity on that, that we can talk about.
1:25Aaron Jones Sr. left early with a knee injury.
1:27Tyrone Tracy Jr. left early with a hamstring injury.
1:29Uh, Cole Komet out for the year. That's a bummer with a knee injury.
1:33And then for Monday Night Football, not only do we have Saquon Barkley questionable, but we also have, uh, Devontae Smith and Tay Wicks out for the Eagles.
1:41So Eagles, obviously a little bit shorthanded, obviously don't have Jalen Hurts.
1:44So we can, it just, me and you can just kind of go through what the reporting was for the injuries.
1:50Um, and we'll start with, uh, Devontae Adams. So out six to 10 weeks is what I saw with the hamstring injury.
1:56I believe surgery, which is, which is rare for a hamstring injury.
2:00Um, not great for Devontae Adams. That's for sure.
2:02Yeah. I mean, the same game is still going on right now, but I mean, takeaway was pretty clear.
2:07It's Puka or bust in terms of, and that was the fear with Kanate Mumfield was that, you know, he might have value.
2:14And it was weird because obviously, you know, Puka got a questionable tag at the end of the week and was always going to be game time.
2:21And then Saturday came through. Okay. No, no, we're feeling a lot better about him.
2:25So with the receivers, I think it's very clear at this point, there is not a pivot.
2:30Whenever one receiver goes down, uh, it's a pivot to the tight ends predicting which tight end it will be is the great carousel of life today.
2:38It was Davis Allen day. Um, and we should have Terrence Ferguson back at some point, but I do want to caution people.
2:44Cause I know this will be something that people want to jump on.
2:48Um, the Rams have a week 11 by week.
2:50Terrence Ferguson can be added or can be activated from IR next week, technically, but they already went ahead and said that they're not going to do that.
2:58Um, he's not ready. So if you're ready to activate, that's not even close.
3:02So considering the week 11 by, there's a very good chance that it's not until week 12.
3:06So if you're looking at options, it is nothing but these tight ends that are active right now for the next couple of weeks.
3:13Yeah. And like, obviously you're going to start Kyron and you're probably going to start Blake Corum, but the biggest thing that
3:19I've noticed when like a big name receiver is out is the receiving work.
3:23A lot of times doesn't necessarily go to like the backup wide receiver.
3:27A lot of times it goes to the running back.
3:29Um, and that's not the case a hundred percent of the time.
3:33Obviously there are certain situations where this receiver does step up, but it seems like with the Rams, like you said, it's, it's puka or bust.
3:40And then from the receiver perspective, and then, yeah, you can play, um, Russian roulette with the tight ends, but like Higby
3:46was set up for a great start. And last I checked, he had like over one fantasy, like barely over one fantasy point.
3:52Um, and then for the Rams, it looks like it's going to be, it's going to be Kyron.
3:57Um, but, uh, there we go. We got Nathan in here.
4:01If we can get his devices connected anyways. Um, I was going to ask, so I want to get the doc's opinion
4:07on this, but with puka, he's got a pre hernia, which is scary.
4:10He pulled up lame with a calf injury, which is scary.
4:13He's still performing well. Like if you just look at his game logs, he is healthy and playing incredible.
4:19Are you, would you be willing to trade him for a haul or are you, are you just holding and you're not even going to bother?
4:26I'm holding. I mean, it's possible that you can trade for a haul, um, at this point trying to predict in terms
4:32of like, Hey, we're going to hedge against this injury.
4:35It could go this way. Yeah. We attack the injuries as we know of them right now, but unless you get the
4:41most significant haul ever, just stand pat where you are.
4:43There we go. All right. We got, we got the doc in here.
4:47There we go. New for all of us. Anyways, thank you for, thank you for joining us.
4:52Um, we were talking about Devante Adams. So real quick, what do we have on the hamstring injury for Devante Adams?
4:58Yeah, sorry. My late start, by the way, I was having some technical difficulties, but yeah, great to be here.
5:03And Devante Adams, he had a great three hamstring injury.
5:06So the interesting thing about it is that it actually attached at the knee part of the hamstring and it actually seems
5:12to be the less common injury to hamstring. So the return timeline is a little bit variable there, which is probably why
5:18they gave us that broad six to 10 week period of time.
5:21It doesn't sound like they need to reattach anything.
5:24And for that inside knee thing, there isn't really a surgical attachment procedure that needs to be done.
5:29That would not come out for the entire season.
5:31So basically they're just cleaning up the freight edges there and they're waiting for it to scar down, heal down, and then
5:37he should be able to come back. So with, um, it's seeming like they pulled off the wind today, keeping their playoffs, uh, kind of insight.
5:45I do think that he'll be back this season and he should be back near full strength, but it'll be in the,
5:51in the end of the regular season. So might not be really worth keeping on for fantasy purposes.
5:56If you have another player that you're looking at targeting.
5:59Got it. And let's say you're able to stash him on your IR when he returns production should be the same.
6:04So he should be back in your lineups. Yeah.
6:07I think that they'll take it back. They'll take it back until he's pretty much able to return back near full strength.
6:13One, I would anticipate just a one week ramp up, but that one week ramp up is kind of arbitrary.
6:18If he's playing really well within that first quarter, they're not going to limit him.
6:23They might start off by saying he'll be on a snap count, but once they feel comfortable with it, that's that imaginary snap counts in a disappear.
6:30Got it. Okay. Got it. That makes sense. And then the next one that we had is, uh, Aaron Jones senior left early with a knee injury.
6:38So he, I mean, he'd been fantastic with, with, uh, Jordan Mason down.
6:41Now he's down with Jordan Mason's back up. So what do we have on, uh, Aaron, Aaron Jones senior?
6:46Yes. And he had that NCL sprain a little bit earlier in the season.
6:50And I think the staff said that he re aggravated that injury.
6:54I, I talk a lot about NCL sprains. They have really good recovery rates.
6:58I'm sure Dr. Shonan talked about that as well.
7:00So it's something that shouldn't hold them out for a long period of time.
7:04I know we've seen other players like Jackson dark get thrown off at the season, but he had an associated meniscus injury with it.
7:11Usually MCL sprains are like a one to three week absence.
7:14And in rare cases, they don't need to miss any time at all.
7:17So we just kind of have to see how they decide to grade this, but usually they're grade one.
7:23Usually it's about a one to two week absence.
7:25Okay. So assuming we don't have them next week, the Vikings are obviously passed their by, so we'll have Jordan Mason.
7:31And, um, Tara, as it wheels up on Jordan Mason, you had a good game this week.
7:36I'm not sure who their matchup is next week, but I've always liked Jordan Mason.
7:40So is he in your lineups next week? Yeah.
7:42100%. Um, regardless of matchup or anything like that, you lean towards it, go into Detroit that they have Detroit.
7:48Yep. I just looked that up. Yeah. Um, which Hey, you know, can be, can be tricky, but at the end of
7:54the day, we know it's going to be volume on top of volume because we saw enough ample evidence while he was
8:00out and Jordan and, uh, Aaron Jones got all the volume in the world.
8:04That it's just going to be the Jordan Mason show.
8:07Yeah. Cause they don't seem to trust the rookie.
8:09I forget, I forget the guy's name, but the rookie they had, uh, they don't seem to quite trust him yet.
8:15Cause yeah. DeMond Claiborne. Yeah, exactly. Claiborne. Yeah. Cause I, I picked him up as a flyer when, uh, Mason went down, but yeah, there is.
8:22He didn't trust him yet. So anyways, the next one, another running back here, Tyrone Tracy Jr.
8:27I believe that was a hamstring injury. Scott came back to life.
8:30Singletary had a good game. So what's the prognosis on Tyrone Tracy?
8:33The good thing is I think they have a buy next week, correct?
8:37That's correct. Yep. So that's perfect. I think both we can tackle both scat and Tracy, the same one, because they both came down hamstring issues.
8:44Oh, that's right. Yep. Yep. Yep. Yep. Tracy ended up leaving the game, not returning.
8:48I would say that he had an actual grade one hamstring strain.
8:52We'll see if they image it and they call it a higher grade, but minimum, it sounds like he has a great one strain.
8:58Usually those are about one to three week absence.
9:01So I would expect him to be at risk for missing the week after the buy.
9:05Scataboo said that he felt his like tighten up and we didn't really get more clarity on it.
9:10So optimistically it could just be tightness, which basically means like a little bit of a spasm without an actual acute strain or injuries in the hamstring.
9:18So he could potentially miss no time at all.
9:20And I'll be a little bit more leaning on the side of optimism that he's able to return back after the buy.
9:26So we went from like having a four headed monster for the giants for two weeks from now, it could just be Devin Singletary by himself.
9:34We'll see. But they're on a buy next week.
9:36So I don't want to spend too much time on that.
9:39I'm sure we'll get some questions about it. So we could just move on to the next one.
9:44Cole Komet, I don't know, like, you know, out for the season, not a huge fantasy guy, but really important for the bears.
9:50Should we see him healthy week one next year?
9:53Yeah, it seemed like they didn't release what ligament was injured, but you saw him land kind of awkwardly on an almost
9:59extended leg, buckled, and they said it buckled. And then he took that need to be collision.
10:04That would typically be an ACL mechanism, especially when they're saying that they're already ruling him out for the season.
10:09But he's got plenty of time to recover fantasy wise.
10:12I do think that bodes well for Loveland. It's kind of coinciding with his finally breaking out fantasy wise and being out
10:18just means that there's more targets that will go to Loveland, but no issues with him.
10:23Week one next season, in my opinion. Okay, good to know.
10:26Yeah. And like I see, he's not much on our fantasy radar, but important player for the bears.
10:31So yeah, I mean, Loveland, that game was on Thursday.
10:33So we won't talk about him a ton today, but two good games in a row for Loveland.
10:38Is he back in the trust tree, Tara? Yeah.
10:41Yes. Ish. I mean, there are multiple pass catchers there and it can always be a, the only one I feel super good about is Luther Burden.
10:48But I think Colson is Colson Loveland is still back somewhat ish in the circle of trust.
10:53We'll get there. Yeah. I agree with you on everything you said.
10:56So no notes there. And then, so we have Monday night football, Saquon questionable, Devante Smith, take weeks out.
11:02So we'll go ahead and start with, with, with Saquon.
11:04I think you've got three limited practices this week.
11:07So what do you have for us on, on Saquon?
11:10Yeah. Insiders have kind of been a little bit less reliable this season.
11:13So they do seem to be projecting that he's playing tomorrow, but I'm kind of putting a little bit less prevalence on that nowadays.
11:20But the fact that like you said, he had a bunch of limited practices this week.
11:24He's not a player who has missed a lot of time recently in his career.
11:29He's had an adequate amount of time to rest a hamstring.
11:32And honestly, they don't really have that many other playmakers in that offense right now.
11:36They sure don't. They kind of have to put him out there.
11:39But Devante Smith, it's kind of funny that you were talking about the burden there because someone even put in my comments
11:45that they're like, oh, should I take this risky maneuver and trade Devante Smith for Luther Burton?
11:50I was like, I don't think that's risky at all.
11:53I think that's, that's honestly like one of the, I was like, I think it's risky for the guy trading you.
11:58Yeah. Risky the other way. But yeah, with Smith, I'm, I'm really concerned that he's going to go on IR.
12:04People were talking about him being shut down for the season.
12:07I think that's a little bit of hyperbole because as we've seen it with Devante Adams, who literally tore his hamstring off
12:13the bone, he's still not a risk for being ruled out for the season.
12:17So I find it out of the realm of probability for at least a hamstring that Devante Smith is going to be shut down for the season.
12:25That seems to be just some re-aggravation. I would say it's about a four to six week recovery in that, in that range.
12:31And if they do shut him down, I don't think it's the injury so much as maybe they're just, you know, lost season.
12:37Yeah. The, the, um, I'm glad you brought that up, the shutting down because that was never reported.
12:42It was never brought up by Nick Sirianni. He was asked, do you guys consider shutting him down for the season?
12:48And it was, and then he answered the question.
12:51So I think, um, someone was trying to kind of get a gauge and maybe he was trying to write an article about that is my assumption.
12:58Cause it was never reported anywhere. And I think someone just wanted to like ask the question and then, so they could, they could get it down.
13:06Um, so I'm glad you brought that up and then less important, but Tay Wicks, I know he, he had an ankle injury last week.
13:12He did have returning in the game, obviously didn't practice an out for this game.
13:17Uh, you have anything just kind of moving forward on Tay Wicks?
13:20Not too much there. Uh, it seems like he was just a little bit too banged up to, I believe they held him out of this game.
13:27Correct. Yeah. I think he was just a little bit too banged up to get out there this week, but nothing that
13:34I would anticipate holds him out long-term. There hasn't been any language of ankle and I didn't actually see the film of the injury.
13:40So I can't comment on whether it was an eversion or inversion sprain, but assuming it was an inversion sprain, I have really no concerns about it.
13:48If indeed it was the ankle turning outwards, meaning towards that little pinky toe, then that would raise my alarm bells.
13:53I was the same mechanism that shriveling had that Lamar Jackson had.
13:57We've kind of seen how they've missed the same period of time.
14:00So it's a really big deal on whether the ankle twists inwards or outwards based on severity.
14:05Yeah. And he, like I said, he returned to the game last week.
14:08So I'm guessing it's not going to keep him out for too long.
14:12And Tara, my question for you. So with everybody out for the Eagles, even if you get Saquon back, the other pieces
14:18on the offense, like you're starting Saquon. If he's back, you're starting Goddard, presumably, but like, are you starting Darius Cooper?
14:24Are you starting Makai Lemon on if you need, like if you had Smith and you're, and you're scrambling?
14:29I would start Lemon. If you need to Cooper, I'm a little bit worried about because theoretically, and probably they don't need
14:35to shadow Dallas doesn't need to shadow, but theoretically that would be the Joey Porter junior matchup.
14:40And assuming he gets a higher snap count this week, that would not be fun for him.
14:45So it makes Cooper a little bit more risky.
14:47And maybe we get, maybe we get that shift towards Makai Lemon.
14:51Finally. Hopefully. I mean, the targets are there, but they're like these ridiculous screen passes.
14:55I, he looks good on film. He's getting open, but he's not getting the ball.
14:59It's, it's a weird thing going on there. Um, and then just a couple of quick hitters that we have here.
15:05So this happened at the very end, right before we hit record, uh, Jalen Waddle looked like chest shoulder arm.
15:10Would you, were you able to catch that and see what happened there?
15:14Yeah. Did they specify, did they specify the body part?
15:17Last I saw, they said shoulder. I saw the video though, but I was curious if they didn't know if they specify the body part anymore.
15:24I think they said arm. At least that's what sleeper is a report I got on sleeper said.
15:29So maybe nothing too specific. Okay. That's it. He seemed in a lot of pain.
15:33So I know some people were thinking about a shoulder dislocation.
15:36The way that he landed was like right on the chest and his arm was kind of bunched up underneath them.
15:42So it would be, it's just like not a typical way that you dislocate, uh, that you dislocate your shoulder with just direct pressure on the front.
15:49Cause it's really hard to dissipate it backwards. I would be thinking more of an AC joint sprain that we've seen with
15:55DJ more, where you take a direct hit to that clavicle.
15:58It irritates that just ligament that connects your clavicle to your shoulder blade.
16:02That's the most common injury in football, but with them saying arm, uh, then, you know, it's a little bit more up in the air.
16:09Like we like rotator cuff strain or just a labral irritation there.
16:12We really have to wait till they say a little bit more without any information.
16:16If I just saw that video in isolation though, I would say risk of an AC joint sprain is the number one concern in my mind.
16:24Got it. Yeah. Not like a long, long-term absence though.
16:26But could it like, like we've seen with DJ more, it could be a high re-injury risk.
16:31Is that right? It's more so that to DJ more, it's not that injury risk that's limiting him.
16:36It's that pain. Uh, the like AC joint sprain really limits the above shoulder pain tolerance.
16:41And when you're not able to lift your arms over your shoulder, then obviously as a wide receiver, you're not going to be able to play.
16:48So basically they're just not able to get pain under control.
16:51AC joint sprains are injuries that you can play through as long as it's not significant tearing.
16:56And they've said pretty much he's on the verge of returning multiple weeks.
16:59So to me, it just seems like a pain tolerance issue for DJ more, which is not, it doesn't have pain tolerance.
17:05It's just that that is a very painful injury.
17:08Sure. Yeah. Yeah. No, nobody's questions on anybody's pain tolerance or manhood here.
17:11Um, and then the, the last one, and this was, this was small, so you might not have anything, but chase Brown,
17:17I saw he got tackled kind of awkwardly. It looked to my, to my eye.
17:22Also what I saw the post say, like a hyper extension.
17:25He, he didn't get ruled out. He, I don't think he ended up like being checked out, but the running back split
17:31was a lot more 50 50 after that, where he had been dominating the snaps prior.
17:35So did you see that? And do you have anything on chase Brown?
17:39I heard about the offer tackle. If it was a hyper extension, then we'd be a little bit concerned about there's like
17:45this cartilage that lies on the back of the knee, like right here.
17:48Oh wow. There's like this cartilage right here that can get strained when your knee pops backwards.
17:53It's just called the post-seared castle. So with hyper extension injuries that cause a little bit of inflammation there, you can also get a bone bruise.
18:00I would just be up in the air about it because chase Brown has kind of been lackluster and been splitting carries pretty, pretty decently already.
18:08So without any kind of confirmed injury report, I would just kind of chalk it up to gameplay and game flow.
18:13But yeah, if they come out with a limited report and it's very limited info, I would go off that hyper extension
18:19that you reported and say that there's a risk of having a bone bruise there or posterior capsule orientation.
18:25And that would be about a one to three week absence in most cases, kind of minimally.
18:29Okay. Got it. So we'll just have to monitor the injury reports and then kind of go from there.
18:35Cool. Well, we appreciate you for, for joining us.
18:37We'll, we'll send Nathan on his way here. And then Tara and I are going to talk storylines.
18:42We're going to talk panic meter. We're going to answer some questions at the end, but first we have a quick video

20:52That's FPPOD to get $25 free after you deposit just 10.
20:55So we got some storylines that I want us to talk about.
20:59Before we do real quick, the buys that we have next week, there are four of them.
21:04Saints, Giants, Texans, and 49ers. But in terms of storylines, the first one I want to talk about, and that's why I
21:10was kind of moving us quickly back or past Chase Brown and the Bengals, because there's a couple, I mean, there's a
21:16lot to talk about with the Bengals. A, Joe Burrow and the Bengals might be back.
21:20We see this all the time. They're a second half team.
21:23But Chase Brown, we got some question marks. He's only gotten two games this year with double digit fantasy points for Chase Brown.
21:30Samadji Piran got the goal line touchdown. Maybe Brown was banged up and it would have gone to him.
21:35But then we see T. Higgins, six receptions, 148 yards and a touchdown all in the second half.
21:40Five receptions, 62 yards and a touchdown for Jamar.
21:42And then Burrow, almost 300 yards, four touchdowns. So a lot to talk about here.
21:46And I don't even know where to start. So I'll just kind of let you let you go where you ever want to go regarding the Bengals.
21:54Yeah, let's start off at the sad part, Chase Brown.
21:57It's an interesting one because while you don't necessarily want to sell low on a guy, oddly enough, he does still retain
22:03more value than at this point I think he should.
22:06Because people still view him as I get a lot of trade questions of people trying to trade for Chase Brown.
22:11And I've been very hesitant on that one because there are a lot of guys that are in that range that are
22:17a little bit lower than him that I think, you know, there might be a little bit more volatile, but offer a
22:24higher ceiling like a Bucky Irving, right? Would be theoretically below Chase Brown in terms of value.
22:28But we know that in the right game script, the right matchup, he can hit that ceiling.
22:33And with Chase Brown, it seems to not really matter what the matchup is.
22:37He's just struggling. We have this continued usage of Pirine.
22:40He was in the series and they got to the goal line where they got to the goal line.
22:45They kept him in. He got the touchdown. So if we're not getting that preferential treatment, we know that touchdowns are already
22:51a little bit scant for Chase Brown because of the fact that they go so aggressively through the air.
22:56I get very worried about him overall. So there's still some a little bit of appeal there because he plays for the
23:02Bengals in the past catching upside that you might be able to trade and get out of it.
23:07But if you were thinking about that one as a buy low, I got a bad feeling that this is just something
23:13that we are going to continue to see from him.
23:16Yeah, I go back and forth because I love Chase Brown.
23:19And the last like last year and the year before he was so much better in the second half.
23:25Now you had a lot clearer reasons for that the last two years, like two years ago, he was splitting time with
23:31Zach Moss at the beginning of the year. It's like funny to think about that in hindsight.
23:35And then last year, Burrow went down. They had Jake Browning for a while and then they got Flacco.
23:41And then guess what? Chase Brown was fantastic again.
23:43And then Burrow came back. So this year it's been weird.
23:46He's been he's been inefficient. He's losing snaps to Pirine.
23:49I still and maybe this is just me not wanting to let go of my priors view him as a as a
23:55buy for because Pirine is not like a 22 year old rookie running back who's like got explosion.
24:00You know what I mean? He's 31 years old.
24:03He's he's a vet. He's not bad, but he's not somebody that I'm super scared of.
24:07Like with Bucky Irving, like when he was a rookie, he was like, oh, wow, like we actually can't take this guy off the field.
24:14He immediately pops. I'm like to me, that's not Pirine.
24:17Now the snap count heading into the bye week was concerning.
24:20It seemed to fix itself until maybe he got banged up.
24:23So the drive where Pirine got the goal line, that was after the fact that that Brown got banged up so you could go both ways.
24:30You could say, well, that was a split that it was before the bye, or you could say it was the injury.
24:36So just reach out to the chase Brown manager and see if you are interested, but or if you're like Tara and
24:42you're not interested that you just you just wipe your hands clean and say and say not for me.
24:47But in terms of the other guys, like obviously nobody was benching Jamar or T Higgins or Burrow, but I think we
24:53can now confidently put them in our lineup and think like, OK, we're going to see some high flying Bengals offense because
25:00they did literally everything in the second half. Yeah, it's funny.
25:03It was looking a little shaky to begin there, but they eventually wore down that Baltimore defense who and you know, hey,
25:09on the opposite side of that, Tyler Huntley fought very valiantly.
25:12We finally saw that massive game from Zay Flowers with Huntley.
25:15So, you know, on the opposite side, there's positive takeaways as well.
25:18Yeah, Flowers is just an absolute animal. I mean, that guy's that guy's insane.
25:22But we can move on to the next one.
25:25So JJ McCarthy, are we buying it? He didn't throw a touchdown, but 252 yards went against the Texans.
25:30They put up 31 points. I believe neighbors had a good game.
25:33Seven receptions, 111 yards. Scat, we talked about, had a good game.
25:36Likely not so much, but you're OK with that for kind of a tight end like that.
25:41But are you in? Are you buying this this double nine resurgence for the Giants?
25:45Not in a way that I would trust him in any way, shape or form in a lineup.
25:50I mean, you can theoretically because of the rushing upside.
25:53But as we saw, you know, today, that can be that can come and go.
25:57It's not as reliable as, you know, our Josh Allen's or Lamar Jackson's in terms of consistent upside.
26:02But what I am buying, well, I'm not buying into JJ McCarthy from a fantasy perspective.
26:07I am buying into, I don't really care who's a quarterback with Malik neighbors.
26:11It's perfectly fine. Like I know because a lot of people were a little bit worried in terms of like, hey, what is no one was benching him.
26:18But there were a lot of people maybe like in 10 team leagues that had a bunch of high end options and some in good matchups.
26:25And they were putting him in like, you know, start sets.
26:29And no matter what, we're expecting volume on top of volume.
26:32And it's a very narrow target funnel. And it was good to see finally, you know, there was a little bit last week.
26:38But, you know, maybe JJ also brings along a little bit of upside for Malachi Fields.
26:42Sure. Well, maybe that helps as well. And but regardless, that's a very tight target funnel.
26:47You're not spreading it around to guys like Darnell Mooney.
26:50So we feel very positive about these pass catchers in general.
26:53And maybe we can get a little bit of Malachi Fields moving forward.
26:56Yeah, sure. I mean, I'll admit that I was terrified of of neighbors with with nine coming in.
27:01I was getting JJ or Justin Jefferson flashbacks. I was like, we've got a really good LSU wide receiver.
27:06His quarterbacks JJ McCarthy, but he did a lot in the fourth quarter last week.
27:11And then he did a lot against the Texans.
27:13Now the Texas defense, like I think every week I keep expecting to bounce back and they and they have another two and five.
27:20Um, but yeah, I'm, I'm, I'm kind of with you.
27:23I'm not buying nine, but sure. I mean, the league neighbors is, is that good.
27:27Uh, the only really one is like, is there any concern for Isaiah likely or just one of those games?
27:32I need to see one more, but we've got to buy a week, so we're not going to see it, but I
27:38would need to see one more down game with, uh, JJ McCarthy to really say for sure.
27:43Like this was a bad switch and he's hyper-focused in on neighbors.
27:46Sure. Okay. All right. Next one. Another, are we buying segment?
27:49Uh, the Browns six receptions, 91 yards, Harold Fannin jr.
27:52Eight receptions, 129 yards for Casey Concepcion. Judkins, two touchdowns, the five and two Browns come back victory against the Titans.
27:58Denzel Boston quiet game, but he had a targets.
28:01So you like that. Um, I feel like everybody on the Browns, like the receiving core in, in Fannin's had a tough
28:07year, but the receivers have been good. Just had like a stink over them because of the quarterback play, but it's been better.
28:13Are, are we buying it? Or if we have those players, are we selling them?
28:17Uh, well, we got to remember it was a matchup against Tennessee.
28:20So that does benefit us, um, from that extent.
28:23So we got to be careful about those matchups.
28:25We've got a one coming against Pittsburgh next week.
28:28That's going to be a little bit more difficult.
28:30Um, and we've seen that one before. Deshaun did, he had volume, but I wouldn't say it was a good performance from
28:37him, but yeah, it's funny that we, you know, just rolling through the list.
28:40Ironically, everyone benched Harold Fannin Jr. And was rolling off.
28:43And now we finally have that breakthrough. It's the inconsistency for Deshaun.
28:47You, you can't completely move on from Fannin because he's a starter.
28:50We know the talent. It's just that every now and then, you know, we've got that volatility from Watson in terms of
28:56overall volume, finally getting that breakout game for Casey Concepcion.
28:59Um, and you write the targets there for Boston.
29:01So we still have hope this, this is what we want to see for the back half of the season.
29:07So if anyone has any wavering thoughts around, um, or had, you don't have them now around Casey Concepcion and Denzel Boston
29:13rookies, talented early round rookies back half of the season on a team with a sketchy quarterback situation as the season wears
29:19on, they just get better and become more reliable from a fantasy perspective.
29:23So these are guys that you, you want on your team.
29:26You want to be able to turn to them as you hit the playoff run and have these high upside talented rookies.
29:32Yeah. Yeah. A hundred percent. I mean, you, you always see rookies get better the second half of the year.
29:37The really only concern here is that it's like a decent, like it's kind of funny to think about, but it's a decent target funnel.
29:44Like you have those three guys, like Jerry Judy kind of pops off randomly.
29:48Uh, Dylan Sampson can, can get loose in the receiving game.
29:51So it's sneakily like a decent amount of targets for an offense that we don't necessarily trust.
29:56So I think you're going to have games like with Denzel Boston, where you look up and he had like the team
30:02played well and he barely did anything from a fantasy perspective.
30:05But, um, yeah, you're definitely not. I mean, if you could sell high, sure.
30:09If you can get something big, but I don't think anybody's going that crazy for them.
30:13Uh, I think the only one that is maybe Judkins, maybe like a running back that scores two touchdowns.
30:19Maybe you could, you could look at like, if, if, if your team's in a good spot, look at like who's on
30:25a bi-week and see if you can get, I mean, guess, I mean, not going to get Christian McCaffrey and it's a
30:31tough week, tough bi-week for running backs. So maybe not, but that's kind of what I would be looking to do with Judkins regardless.
30:37With me with Judkins. So when we were talking about Chase Brown and his price tag being hefty, instead of like, for
30:43me, instead of overpaying for a Chase Brown, Judkins is cheap.
30:46People are like, it's, it's, he is one of the cheapest lead backs that you can get on the market.
30:52And as we know that, you know, the Browns are not great, but they're just decent enough to make sure that these
30:58are not blowout scenarios and they stay competitive in games.
31:01And as long as they're staying competitive, there's plenty of work on the ground.
31:05And because Deshaun's not lighting it up through the air, they stay extremely balanced.
31:09So you don't see the run being abandoned as it was last year when we had a lot of those rough spots
31:15for Judkins where they were just scripted out, unfortunately.
31:17So I, even though, and it was good actually, because it should actually lower his value as well, because we had Simpson
31:23come back and Samson gave a nice, good performance.
31:26He took some of those receptions as well. So people might think that they're selling super high on Judkins, but if you're
31:32in need of a cheap way to get an RB one, that's a low value one that you can sneak in there
31:38and get for not pennies, but maybe something like just some nickels, right?
31:42Yeah. You're probably right. And I can see your argument where it's like, why change for Chase, like, why should we go out for Chase Brown?
31:49And we have quinched on Judkins at home. It's like, it's like, they're kind of putting up similar numbers.
31:54All right. The next one that we have, I want to talk about the Panthers because maybe I was too high on
32:00them, but in all my leagues, I was looking to trade for Chuba and Jalen Coker.
32:05Cause I just felt like the market didn't value them as, as much as they should through one week.
32:10That's a big fat L for me. I did get Chuba in a league, but he didn't have a terrible game.
32:16Like he had eight half PPR points, so he didn't kill you.
32:19But then Coker, one reception, eight yards, Tet, four receptions, 40 yards.
32:22They lost like their best offensive lineman. Like that game just got out of hand really fast.
32:27And maybe it was just like a, you ran into a bus saw, even though you're at home, that happens.
32:33Is there any concern for you on those guys on the Panthers?
32:36No, the only concern would be they had offensive lineman Taylor Martin go down.
32:40That is, that could be critical, right? That's a big deal.
32:43Um, but I think, I mean, I was along with you with the thought process of buying on Chuba.
32:48This was just, unfortunately a defense that is underrated and has, you know, I thought there might be some hope for Coker
32:54to come through as we've seen, like with, you know, CD lamb, I think he got slightly injured in that game, but he played over 50% of snaps.
33:02So CD lamb was kind of shut down in this game.
33:05And then I think Christian Watson was shut down in this game against Tampa as well.
33:09So I was like, okay, might be a down game for Tet, but we can have one of those secondary options, which is only, um, Jalen Coker.
33:17It turns out it was, um, you know, Darren Waller, one of those secondary options come up and have a good performance.
33:23So I wouldn't panic. Tampa is a defense that can shut you down and Baker Mayfield coming back.
33:28Maybe that just accelerated things to where, yeah, okay.
33:31We're, we're having this offense run a bit more smoothly.
33:33We're not leaning on the pass. We're handing the ball off to Bucky, and we're not trying to win it at all through the air.
33:40We don't have to do anything fancy, just somebody that can manage the game properly.
33:44It might've just worked out from that perspective. It was just a, um, bad matchup defensively for, uh, Carolina.
33:50So I wouldn't panic. He's still a clear RB one.
33:52Maybe it's a buy low opportunity. Cause he's a clear RB one who was competing with him at that backfield.
33:58No, not, not HN, not Trevor HN junior, HN junior.
34:01Did he change his name too? No, I'm just kidding.
34:04Yeah. Yeah. Good question. Um, yeah, I also thought Coker was going to have, I like looked into that one a ton.
34:10Like the, the bucks play zone coverage at like the six highest rate and Jalen Coker.
34:14If you look at like his yards and targets per route run, it's like JSN is the only receiver in say flowers better than him against zone.
34:22And it just obviously didn't work out, but weird game fumble recovery.
34:25Some, some, like you got flashbacks of the rookie year, um, Bryce young, but yeah, I think you kind of teams have
34:31those, you flush it and you move on. Which we can do with the last one.
34:35So the last one I want to talk about here is the jets and it's Omar Cooper jr versus Garrett Wilson.
34:41So Omar Cooper jr got hurt. He was on IR.
34:44He missed some time returned last week. And the only thing that he's done in the last two weeks is 2019.3 PPR points.
34:50He put up five receptions for 115 yards and a touchdown today, last week, six receptions, 103 yards and a touchdown.
34:56And those same two games, we saw 6.4, 3.6 half PPR points for Wilson.
35:00So are you selling high on Omar Cooper jr?
35:03Are you buying low on Garrett Wilson? Or are you just saying, I don't want anything to do with a Gino Smith in this jets offense?
35:10Well, next week is Gino's revenge game. So might be on board for that one.
35:14Um, but Vegas is a good matchup. So if to that extent, I would be starting Omar Cooper jr and I would
35:20be starting Garrett Wilson, even though we've got this downturn, I don't know.
35:24I don't think I would, I don't think I would sell if you can sell high on Cooper.
35:29Yeah. But again, while the reports, maybe the reports during camp were just dramatic because they were saying that he was performing
35:35poorly and he was second team and we never got a chance to actually see that on the field because he got injured so early.
35:42So we don't know if all of that really was just an over-exaggeration.
35:45And this is somebody who is, um, going to have this significant role moving forward in an offense that seems to be
35:51well-balanced pushes good volume and the right matchups. Right.
35:54And we've got a good matchup next week. So if you want to look at it and potentially sell high, but I
36:00also think you can just ride it out with that one and try to maybe take advantage of it.
36:05Yeah. And I think you could probably buy Garrett Wilson.
36:08I think somebody is probably like they see Gino as their quarterback.
36:11Yeah. I, the Omar Cooper thing was, was crazy because he, you didn't get it.
36:15You, from my memory, you didn't hear anything about him in the off season.
36:19It was like a first round receiver who like was completely silent and then he was on IR.
36:24So like, I was ready to just think it was like a lost year for the rookie.
36:29I loved Adonai Mitchell and what we'd been seeing from him before his finger injury.
36:33So it's interesting. It's not an offense that we'd love, but, um, it's two receivers that could give you some value over the course of a season.
36:41And I feel like those receivers on the gross offenses might have some value.
36:44So yeah, I, I, I think it's worth, um, checking in and seeing.
36:48But so the next thing that we're going to talk about here is the, we're going to do a panic meter.
36:54But before we do that, I want to talk to you guys about the waiver planner.
36:58Take the guesswork out of the waiver wire with the fantasy pros waiver wire planner, get a complete customized waiver plan for
37:04every league, including suggested fab bids and backup options in case your top targets are taken.

37:16Of landing the players, your team needs build your personalized waiver plan today at fantasy pros.com slash plan.
37:21That's fantasy pros.com slash plan. Now we have the panic meter.
37:24So get your player names in the chat. We want to know who you want to know.
37:29We want to know who you guys want to know if we're panning, panicking about them or not scale of one to 10.
37:35One means we're not panicking at all. 10. You're in full blown panic mode.
37:39And while we're waiting for you guys to comment, I put some names in the chat here that we can just go through quickly.
37:46A lot of these guys we've talked about, so we don't need to spend too much time, but Chase Brown, we panic.
37:52Like what's your panic meter on Chase Brown? Yeah, it's a seven.
37:55I'm at it. I'm not to the point where I meant, but I don't, I would want to sell it off.
38:01Unfortunately. Okay. I think again, maybe we're just confirming.
38:04I'm just confirming priors here, but I I'm still willing to buy.
38:07I'll put mine at a four. Yeah. Jalen Warren.
38:10I, this game was so early. I feel like the international games, they might as well be six weeks ago, but to my knowledge, he was fantastic.
38:17If that's my memory from 18 J Mac here.
38:20So panic meter on Jalen Warren. I'm, I'm, I'm guessing it's with Rico back and Rico playing well, but I'm out of one.
38:26I, I, I, Jalen Warren's fantastic. Yeah. Yeah. It's, I think it's just the Rico thing.
38:30Cause Rico did get a lot of burn. Mike McCarthy is, you know, no, it was a lot of touches to be fair.
38:37Um, I would not panic whatsoever. They're a well balanced team, lower scoring than I expected, but those are international games.
38:43So it is what it is. Yeah. And he is just, I mean, he's amazing.
38:47Uh, it's, it's like, how did the Steelers hide this guy for so long?
38:51Um, all right. Nico Collins. He was actually somebody that I wrote down from Axel Gonzalez two bad weeks in a row.
38:57Um, where's your panic meter on Nico Collins? It's at a three.
39:00I don't think that it's not as if anybody else went off.
39:03It was like one of those quintessential. Yay. Marvin Harrison Jr.
39:06Got a touchdown. What else was there? Um, Jay, Noel got hurt.
39:10Tank Dell came back, got a catch. Technically speaking, that was not his catch.
39:14Um, I can't wait to see what the, um, snap count was for everybody just to really kind of get my, um, wrap my head around it.
39:21But we're still holding faith with Nico Collins. So I, he could be an interesting bilo candidate because I know a lot of people are definitely concerned there.
39:29So it's more like a three, maybe a four for me at the end of the day.
39:34He's still the wide receiver one there. He, I'm a, I'm a hundred percent agreement.
39:38He's a two for me. He's, he's the alpha.
39:40I actually think he's a fantastic by candidate if you can afford it, because he has the buy next week.
39:46So, um, whoever has him, he just witnessed him having two down games and now he's on a buy.
39:51Maybe they lost two games in a row. I think you could probably swing a trade for Nico Collins.
39:56Now is the perfect time to move on here.
39:59So the last we're going to do is a Q and a, but before we do that, um, if you want a

40:44Don't miss your chance to claim your prize. And now we will answer some questions.
40:48So I already, we got, we got some throughout the stream that we're going to answer, but we have about 10 minutes here before Sunday night football starts.
40:56So get your questions in, uh, the first one that I want to answer and we have Tara back.
41:01That's good. Um, so we got a super chat from BCB MLB 58.
41:04So thank you for that. We appreciate it. Um, so I want to spend some time on this one.
41:10What should I get for Jefferson? Obviously I'm guessing it's Justin Jefferson.
41:13My starting lineup this week, 12, my starting lineup this week, 12 team PPR running backs are Swift Dobbins wide receivers, Puka
41:19Jefferson, Bernard craft is your tight end. And you got shock.
41:22Your bench is Lamar, um, Jonah Coleman, lad McConkie, Emmett Johnson and Dallas Goddard.
41:26So when you're looking to trade Justin Jefferson, what would you be looking for?
41:30Obviously he's a huge name, got quarterback issues, but he's still Justin Jefferson.
41:33If you're trading somebody like him, what would you be looking to get?
41:37So if you were going to do a positional one for one flip, let's say, but I'm guessing you're wanting to go running backs on this one.
41:45But if you were going to do like a one for one flip for a wide receiver, I would try to go
41:51down to like a Christian Watson or Parker Washington.
41:53But if you are looking to do a running back to kind of reinforce your team, I mean, honestly, I know it's not going to be appealing.
42:01You might need to add something in because, um, value wise, it's kind of a little bit tilted, but Bucky Irving is
42:07an interesting one for me for the ceiling that he offers.
42:10Um, perhaps you could see if you could get an Ashton Gentry.
42:13Um, and that's when it's actually probably realistic because people seem to have an issue with Ashton Gentry because of the upside
42:19on the ground being a little bit limited because of the offensive line and whatnot.
42:23But the pass catching remains there. It's not volatile.
42:26It gives him a safe floor. So I could lean that direction as well.
42:30Yeah. I, um, I like your thought on Ashton Gentry.
42:33He did have a receiving touchdown. So we had a good game.
42:36I actually, and you can tell me if I'm crazy.
42:39What about Chuba? Um, I actually have Chuba higher in my rest of season rankings than Justin Jefferson.
42:44I think the person who has Chuba obviously is loving life because he's been fantastic, but I feel like nobody was ever
42:50really going to believe that it was real. Cause it's not like we know what Chuba is.
42:54He's been in the league forever. This Panthers offense, um, like this year, aside from yesterday, or this today has been fantastic, but we have two years evidence.
43:02So maybe people were thought that they were going to come back down.
43:06Um, so I don't think that's crazy. You could probably, even though I have Chuba higher in my rankings, you could probably ask for something else.
43:13So it's like Jefferson for Chuba plus, like maybe you add in, like you send Emmitt Johnson to the, um, to the, to the Kenneth Walker manager.
43:20Obviously they have to have the same players, but something like that.
43:24That's what I'd be looking to do where like, according to my rankings, you're actually upgrading, but because of the name value,
43:30you could probably ask for something back. So that's kind of what I, what, what I think.
43:35Um, so another question here and started off hot, but, um, should we drop?
43:38Should he, this person, he, she drop Juwan Johnson by week.
43:42So, uh, I think two gooses in a row, if I remember correctly.
43:45Yeah, I just, I don't know why it's happening.
43:48I won't say I love him. So I won't say he's washed, but it's time to move on if you need to,
43:54because now we can't feel comfortable on our starting lineup.
43:56And realistically it's possible that after week eight, we do have during Tyson back.
44:00So, and that would throw a little wrench into everything.
44:03And we're getting more Bryce Lance as well. And so, um, yeah, it's, it's just a mess.
44:08So he, you definitely don't have to hold him.
44:10It obviously depends on who's your tight end and with tight ends are on waivers, but I mean, he, he, so he
44:16goose last week, this week, he gave you 1.2 fantasy points, one reception for seven yards.
44:21So thank you for that. And the week before he gave you two, uh, four receptions for 16 yards and a nice 3.6 half PPR points.
44:28So yeah, you, you can drop him again. It just, it just depends on who's available.
44:32Um, so another question here that I thought we did talk about him, but I think we can, we can answer this one from 18 J Mac.
44:40So Casey conception breakout game and can it continue?
44:42Yeah. Yeah. Again, you know, short on that one, 100% back half of the rookie season, especially in PPR.
44:48That's where we're going to see the money for him.
44:51Yeah. I don't think necessarily. And I don't, I know you're not saying this, but don't expect, um, what was the stat line?
44:57I think I, I definitely can continue. Um, another interesting one.
45:00And I, I have my thoughts on charbs, but we'll let, I'll let you go.
45:04So the question from dark side wrestle Charbonnet was dropped in on waivers this week.
45:08What fab would you bid to try and get them?
45:11I would bid 5%. This is a perma committee.
45:14You're going to lose. Probably someone's going to drop more fab.
45:17I don't know that I want to blow like maybe 10%, but blow all your fab on that.
45:22When you know that price is going to be back soon as well.
45:25Manuel Wilson still exists. Jadarion price. We have no idea if they decide to run for deep.
45:30Like I just, I don't feel super comfortable. And the fact that they have pushed it this far and he's not active
45:36again, that was a super quick turnaround. So I'm not even sure why they put like, why they had, I guess maybe
45:42they wanted a month of ramp up time in terms of practice to try and get them ready.
45:47But I assume it's going to be a slow ramp up because of the turnaround for this injury and that we're not
45:53going to have an aggressive workload put onto him.
45:56It's still going to be a committee. Okay. I'm in total agreement.
45:59I thought, cause I have, there was some charges believe or charges truthers out there that I didn't know those people existed.
46:05If, if they're doing a committee with Kenneth Walker on the team, they're going to continue to do a committee.
46:11And we like charbs is a totally fine short yardage back, but he was already not super explosive.
46:16And now he's coming off of a torn ACL.
46:18Um, I would let somebody else, I mean, sure.
46:21Put 5% on him and then try to trade him.
46:23I would let somebody else deal with that landmine.
46:26Cause I think he's a running back. I just don't necessarily think that there's anybody that you can, that he's anybody that you're going to want to start.
46:34Yeah. So, all right. We got one here from J red at nine, seven, nine, nine.
46:38My RBs and PPR are Mondra Stevenson, Irving and Pollard.
46:41Should I trade one or hold all? I still don't know which two to start each week.
46:45Yeah. That is frustrating. Um, I mean, absurd performance from Tony Pollard, but if these are your, I'm guessing, I don't know
46:52if like they're your only three running backs or if they're like, you have to weekly decide between two of them, but
46:58regardless, what are you doing with those three? I mean, technically speaking, no matter who you started, you had a great week,
47:04but, um, yeah, long-term I feel I, I want to keep Bucky.
47:07I've sucked. Like God, I've been pro. I was not pro Bucky heading into the season.
47:12So, but just based off everything we're seeing, I would want to keep Bucky because you know, the upside and matchups that
47:18are advantageous is just way too high. And then between Stevenson and Pollard, you're going to have to, that gives you the option.
47:24I know it's like, you know, you don't know who to start on a weekly basis, but that gives you the option to platoon based off matchup.
47:31So neither Stevenson or Pollard have super high value.
47:34You could trade Pollard and maybe try to do that.
47:37Um, that's the one that I would try. Stevenson is one of those that no one is ever really going to give
47:43you something, but because we had the injury to Spears and, uh, Singleton was out.
47:47And so it was just really like, okay, is this just going to be the Tony Pollard, um, aggressive show moving forward
47:53now that he has had a breakout game, you could make that argument, right?
47:57That maybe he just has an aggressive workload and succeeds moving forward.
48:00So try to sell that one, but otherwise you can just end up going back and forth there.
48:05Yeah. I'm probably trying to sell high on, on Pollard.
48:08I mean, he three touchdowns, 35 points here. I can promise you you're not getting that again this year, but I don't know.
48:14He randomly had crazy games at the end of last year.
48:17I think when everybody kind of had given up, so maybe you'll do it again, but I doubt it.
48:23And I would probably try to sell him. Um, the last question before we get on out here and you guys got
48:29to watch Sunday night football, um, from James, we got, we, um, he's asked if Barkley is playing tomorrow.
48:34So we had the doc on earlier reports are that he's going to play reports have been a little bit untrustworthy recently.
48:40So he's taking that with a grain of salt, but he is expecting him to play.
48:45He is not saying that it's a stone cold guarantee.
48:47And I believe, and also Deepak was pretty consistent on this as well.
48:51When Barkley is in his production shouldn't be like the re-injury risk is there, but the production should be fine.
48:57It's the sprained ankle where the production is a little bit iffy on return.
49:00Um, but that is all we got. So Sunday night football is starting any minute.
49:05I appreciate everybody for joining me. Um, thanks for spending time with us tonight.
49:08Uh, right after Sunday night football, you can join the fantasy dude on the tailgate YouTube channel, which can be found at tailgate NFL.
